You tear a bit of your icecream puff apart, giving Sebastian's pokemon a piece of your pastry.

"Purr." Espurr says nibbling on the bread as Sebastian runs up to your table.

"I swear." Seb pants. "Why does she keep finding you before me?" He asks as you shrug.

"Psychic maybe?" You say as Tallie raises a eyebrow.

"Who is that Espurr anyway and why is it near my leg?" Tallie asks.

"It's Sebastian's pokemon partner, he adopted it." You say as Seb glares at you.

"She's not and I didn't. Xanadu is just staying around till she finds a real owner." Sebastian insists as you sip on a milkshake you ordered.

Oh dear, he already named her, he's doomed.

"Is there a rule that whenever I turn away something big and life changing happens?" Your mom asks a slight frown on her face.

You make a zip motion before Sebastian retorts. "It's been a eventful few weeks."

Holy shit it's only been nine days... and you had three holiday specials already?

"Anyway." Your mom says getting up, holding the rest of her ice cream. "We should get going. Sebastian can pick dinner for not getting ice cream."

Your brother shrugs, he never had a sweet tooth anyway, as the two of you head off to the ridge seperating Kalos to the Johto region, the Kaljo mountains... technically speaking its off route and thus not allowed for any ordinary pokemon adventurer to walk through, its not safe or scouted.

But you are a twenty year old woman and your escort is both a police officer and a 6 badge holding veteran of the force. Oh and you have a god.

Poor Sebastian though.

The mountains tower above you, this is a great chance to catch some rare pokemon... or since your teams so big, meet some rare pokemon and kick their ass?

Also if you go far enough you may reach the safari zone, you always wanted to visit.

You stalk up the mountain, Weiss happily taking the lead, the pokemon bouncing happily up the trail. He seems really happy for some reason... maybe he likes... family outings?

Followly shortly behind her is your mother as stotic as ever as she trundles behind your pokemon, Tiger out next to her to sniff out trouble as they move briskly and calmly.

Much less calm are you and Sebastian who are weezing up the steps and regretting throwing a fit when your mom tried to get you to do morning practice with her. Sure would have made this mountain easier.

Oh well, life is about ups and downs, you may know this better then anyone.

You hear the sound of fighting, your mom raising a hand to stop you two as she motions to check it out. She is never not working... nowadays anyway.

You creep behind Tallie, your ghost touch making you as silent as the shadows as you slip between the trees.

What you see seems to be a battle between wild pokemon, a girafrig crying as its eyes glow, the psychic pokemon firing off a psybeam at a...

"Un ow ow!" A unown screams, the small floating black sigil dodging the blow in what more resembles blind panic then a coordinated dodge (You're well experienced in both).

Also you dont know the girafraigs deal but it seems like bullying right now... but you dont know the unown are dangerous so maybe it tried something and got scattered?

You smile at the group. The girafraig seems to want to say something but when it notices the way it was cast in your shadow... and the way your shadow opened several pairs of eyes that only you and it could see... the Girafraig simmered down, the two headed pokemon grumbling.

You turn to Mimikyu. "Basically Girafraig says that it lived in a subsector of these old ruins hidden in here. Then some bozos in robes disturbed these old tiles and woke up pokemon like this one. He was kicked out and when he found another he attacked it in revenge." Mimikyu explains as the girafraig nods.

You point at the unown. "What's his problem?"

Mimikyu frowns. "Unown are sortof a hive deal, or like the language they are. This one can only say 'g' and 'G'. Not much I can get out of that unless we find more."

The unown blinks, sortof shuddering in its weird erratic float pattern. "G? g ggg?"

"Do you really think something like that is capable of malice? Or meaness? Cruelty... Maybe grumpyness or bullying but it certainly didnt want to kick you out. And they shouldn't even be awake.. you shouldn't blame him for your problems."

The pokemon grumbles as you nod. "You should be dealing with the humans who woke them up, they are the ones who took your home..." You think of something, remembering that turd who tried to kidnap your pokemon till Mrs Nyarth stopped him with her husband, he used unown too maybe... "Say how about you show us these ruins and we will see if we can help?"

The girafraig looks at the unown and the two nod as you look back to Tallie and Sebastian.

"I found the criminal base you were looking for mom!" You say smiling as your mom tilts her head looking confused.

This probably went over her head.

Weiss is still skipping around, you think he just doesnt really care about the danger.

You notice a green creature sitting on a tree but it vanishes before you get a good look... but you know there is like what, 800 pokemon? You probably just missed a class one day.

After that you arrive at the temple, a large stone wrought temple that, as the girafe mentioned, is covered with the offtufts of tall grass pokemon like to dwell in, also sure enough men in white robes were patrolling it.

This could be tricky.

the metal as the robed figures send out pokemon of your own. Your mother gives you a thumbs up before leaping onto Sherman's head.

You... THINK its a distraction? Or maybe she just figured she could take them? They seem to be using fairy types so that doesnt seem like a entirely false hypothesis.

You walk down the halls, sebastian following you as you leave your mom to handle the army. She'll be fine.

Honestly. Shes your mom, you know exactly how scary she can be.

The halls of the ruins are shifting and more telling bare. There are no torch indentures, no mystial writing, no paintings or anything most ruins have to detonate this place as... livable.

Its just smooth columns of solid stone, as if whatever was here was sortof, peeled off.

Or someone just put a bunch of walls atop a large tunnel system and called it a ruin you guess.... but then why would unown be here they don't like nature.

You keep heading down the tunnels, using the twists to avoid the robbed men until you see a large inscription on the wall.

The red star glows near you, inscribed in a door that is clearly a different rock then the rest of the wall, clearly the residences are new, well you knew that since you recognize the logo.

Thats the star Seth wore... you remember Seth right? The priest from the contest? He tried to steal Mimikyu?

No? Well he was a bit of a loser but he was awfully rude!

He also was a Son of Az, one of the big crime rings Carl warned you about.

"You've been tossed into the worst memory in your mind in order to keep you away from whatever door you are opening."

You look at the door, it is rather spooky. "So... these things aren't real?"

"You are inside your head so they are real to you." Giratina said frowning. "You really need to step up your psychic game, you got the offensive to defensive balance of a ice type."

You don't get it.

"So why don't you just destroy them from the get go." You ask as giratina frowns.

"Be very careful with that order. We are inside your head here, if a outsider meddles with it then you wont be able to unmeddle it. After all if i alter your memory you will have no idea what actually happened anymore."
