You, worthy Anon, are the brave soul that inhabits the characters that populate the Drawquest Menagerie! The adventure is yours. Each saga you choose the setting, and create the main character, and I provide the adventure! This is the perfect thread to start playing as it is the beginning of a new saga. At the beginning of a new saga you can vote to play a previous main character from another saga instead of making up a new character if you so choose. Once a new Saga has begun, you can choose any side characters you may have picked up in a previous Saga to take with you as companions - though you might have to earn a character token inside the quest first. (Last Saga: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive.html?tags=halp)How to play: You can post anytime - I often will not give you any options or prompts, assume you can always reply to any post I make. The only exception is when I type 'cont' at the end of a post, that means there will be a follow up post to complete the scene. So, let's get started! Choose all options that apply to your character:>I wish to play as Judah from Profiteer Saga>I wish to make a new characterIf making a new character:>I am male/Female (Choose one)>I am a child/teen/adult/elderly (Choose one)>I am (Race) (Ex: human/Elf/Monstertruck) Finally: >Choose the setting of this Saga (Ex: Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Pirates, Microscopic world, etc.)
>>1468739>I wish to make a new character>I am Female>I am a child>I am Elf>Choose the setting of this Saga: PiratesTime for loli elf pirates.
>>1468739alright lets get to it. >new character>elderly>human>settingSpace Pirates
>>1468810>>I am Female>>I am a child>>I am Elfthis is fine actually
>new character>male>adult>robot>setting fantasy
It will be a few minutes before the game starts since I got something to eat while waiting for replies.
>>1468857You have my attention op
>>1468883Pirates have no need for shaving!Neither do elves.
>>1468892 About 10 more minutes and I should be done eating and the game will be full throttle
Should we name this character?
>>1468920She is the captain. Just the captain. She needs no title other than that, as she will become the single grwatest pirate in all existence.
You are stowed away on a spaceship, trying to hitch a ride back to earth. Which when your parents last left it, was the ancestral home of the elves, as well as humans, and a few other creatures. You decided one day that you very badly wanted to see it, and so you ran away from home on this little adventure to see if you could find your home planet!(Also she might have a secret wish to become the single gwatest pirate in all existence!)>Yes you can vote on a name - keep it PG Note drawings might not always be attached to the text part of my posts cause sometimes I'm uploading the drawings using an ipad and typing on an ipad is a huuuge pain in the butt.
>>1469001how about Cristal Cutlass?
>>1469015I think that's brilliant - will wait to see what others vote on but I personally like that.
>>1469001>the single gwatest pirate in all existence! Please tell me we speak with a lisp.>>1469015This is a nice name.
>>1469021That's actually a good name too. I'll wait just another sec incase there is one more vote or write in then it'll be locked.
>>1469026Are you seconding Cristal? Also adorably, we may speak with a lisp, we'll see!
>>1469034Yeah, seconding Cristal
>>1469040this is good
You ARE, Cristal Cutlass The most feared elfchild pirate-to-be in all of the known galaxy! Err.. or you WILL be, as soon as everyone knows about you! I mean, how couldn't it be, it's manifest destiny! You are now in open play - the drawings reflect your current situation so see and enjoy!
>What do you do?
>>1469044https://youtu.be/z09rvN3s9KgWhat is that mysterious ticking noise? Actually... It's quite catchy
>>1469044First, try to unscrew the light bulb without damaging yourself. Low visibility should decrease our chances of being discovered.Second, try to inspect the source of that noise, but try not to stand directly in front of that wall-mounted object in case it's motion activated.
>>1469058>>1469060You reach up to try and unscrew the light bulb but you're nooooot quite tall enough to reach it.
>>1469076Look for a place to hide
>>1469076Hide in the box marked 23 that we were sitting next to. Maybe we find something we shouldn't in there. Wait a minute! These people are smuggling contraband!
>>1469076Hide then find a weapon
>>1469086>Beside you is a box that you've been hiding beside, and behind you is a separate corridor that you could duck behind. (>>1469007)Which do you choose?(Or Write in)
>>1469099Well, this is still my vote
>>1469099Yeah, let's go with this.
>>1469116>>1469118 The box is chock full of odd nondescript cylinders of varying shapes and sizes most of them appear to be made out of metal others out of a hard plastic. Whatever they are, it's going to take some digging to clear out the box if you want to hide in there. The ticking grows louder
>>1469142Right, new plan. Grab several of the cylinders, at least one each of the metal and plastic ones. Then close the box and skidadle down that corridor.
>>1469142If that is a bomb, disturbing it is a horrible idea. Ruuuun!
>>1469142Grab a few and hide somewhere else
>>1469170>>1469179>>1469178 You grab a few of each kind of cylinder and run behind the wall into the next Corridor.
>>1469189Keep hidden as you scamper about
Your child's curiosity gets the better of you and you keep through a hole in the Corredor wall just to see if anything was really coming.
"What is that DREADED ticking noise." You hear the strange creature say in a drab monotone voice.
>>1469203And then a bomb goes off.
>>1469203Observe the octopus with fascination
>>1469225>>1469228Just what is in this thing anyway You begin to shake a cylinder.
>>1469178 It was not 'a' bomb. It was 23 bombs. But your adorable little elfin self had no idea.>Roll 2d6
>>1469261Sneak away and keep moving. You dont want to be near that thing! You are a little girl and that thing has tentacles!! We've all seen that hentai
Rolled 5, 1 = 6 (2d6)>>1469275Oh maaaan i was right.
Rolled 4, 5 = 9 (2d6)>>1469275
Rolled 4, 6 = 10 (2d6)>>1469275
>>1469288>>1469318>>1469324Cont.BA-BOOM!!!! The sound splits you're sensitive your drums and for a couple of seconds of you can hear is raucus ringing. A second later you feel I thought something heavy and slimy slaps you in the face causing you to drop your small cylinder.
>>1469352Suplex the octo onto the canister
I hate ipad autocorrect with all my soul. Hopefully you all understood what was meant there.Anyhoo! As soon as you regain your hearing the peel of sirens are screeching all around you.
>>1469352Trip into an escape pod on accident.
Rolled 2 (1d2)>>1469365>>14693851 = 1, 2 = 2
>>1469457The explosions send the pod flying and damagedYou spiral to the closest planet. Its Jungle-ey
>>1469457The ship gets trapped in the gravity well of the nearest planetoid and is being pulled in. Suddenly, from the depths of space, a pirate vessel appears, setting its sites on the crippled vessel as prey.
There is the sound of a great explosion and suddenly your feet lift off of the ground. The floating sensation makes you feel giddy. The escape pod now hurdles through empty black space with you and your newfound companion. [/i]"YOU!!!!!!"[/i] the creature screams for incomprehensible reasons.(Sorry for late reply, I had to retype everything because ipad just decided to randomly exit my reply. Happens more than you would think! Did I mention how much I HATE posting with an iPad!????????*swears and rages to himself quietly.)
Rolled 1 (1d2)>>1469470>>14694711=1 2=2
>>1469470>>1469471Ah what the heck, both are true. Your pod floats getting caught up in the gravity well of the nearest planetoid, covered in dense jungle. Outside the capsule the distress beacon of the destroyed ship seems to have attracted unwanted attention, for there is a large vessel with the markings of a pirates ship stationing itself next to the wreckage. Small flyers spread out from the ship and start collecting debris. You are drifting towards the planetoid.
>>1469530Attempt to lighten the mood with fish jokes
>>1469541 You drift closer to the planetoid, let's hope the Pirates don't pick you up first. Roll 2D6 " just what were you doing on our ship!"" why did the octopus cross the road? To get to the other tide." You say. "Who, and what, do you think you are!?"
Rolled 4, 6 = 10 (2d6)>>1469565"In order: Stowing away, Cristal Cutlass, the future Space Pirate Queen of Space."
>>1469582"Just what were you doing on our ship?" "Stowing away." You say smiling. "Stowing a--Just who, and what, do you think you ARE!??" "I am Cristal Cutless, thhe future Space Pirate Queen of Space!!!" you declare. "And the single gwatest pirate in all existence."
"DId you just say 'gwatest?'"
>>1469644We managed to steal another one of those cylinder things and get away with it! Show it to the Squid. It's a good thing they're totally stable and don't explode when exposed to shaking! Cue hitting the armosphere.
"So you DID understand what you were doing!!" Just then, the pod jerks to a stop. Your feet slam to the floor as there is gravity once again.
>>1469663Roll 2d6 to see if you kept a cylinder.
Rolled 4, 5 = 9 (2d6)>>1469678
>>1469663"STOP THAT!!" The creature throws its tentacles up. "All right then Cristal, space queen pirate. What's your plan now, hm? It sounds like we've landed. Is this going the way you imagined it? Blow up a poor innocent alien's spaceship, kidnap him, and steal... a single bomb to threaten him with!?? What kind of pirating is that!"
>>1469705The ef-fish-ient kind
>>1469727>>1469742"Well what do we do now?"
>>1469757"What sort of pirate do you take me for? We're going to plunder this planet, obviously! Come along, first mate."
>>1469770 You open the door to the escape pod capsule and bright sunlight floods in. Before you is a densely packed jungle with heavy wet Air and much greenery.
>>1469803Oh, hey, a snake.Strike off in a direction and see what we come across.
>>1469803Ask the Snek for directions to the nearest temple, ruin, or any other plunderin' grounds.
Rolled 1 (1d2)>>1469806>>14698071=1 2=2
>>1469828Is he reaching for the bomb? Obliviously pull it out of his reach at the last second.
>>1469845Roll 2d6>>1469828 You and your first mate head off in an on specified direction. But your space pirate's intuition leads you to find a large fortified structure.
Rolled 5, 2 = 7 (2d6)>>1469884
>>1469896''Grumble grumble grumble…"
>>1469884TIME FOR PLUNDER AND PILLAGE
>>1469946Wooh! Storm the castle!
>>1469946we need to keep a look out for expanding our crew as well
Rolled 6, 5 = 11 (2d6)>>1469884Hey Halp, I read the last thread and wanted to encourage you to do these quests because from what I've seen, they have a lot of what people have been asking for AND are a lot of fun.I think that (just like what the one guy in the last thread said) it's just the advertising of the quest that gets the low turnout. I really have no advice with that but I think the idea of making a bunch of interconnected quests with different names would be great to stop people from being detered by seeing a huge episode/chapter number in the title is a good one.in fact, as one of the people who would be detered by that, I think it's geniusI think it's a shame that not many people seem to join your quests because I've had so much fun in the last saga!
>>1469946>>1469969>>1469975This building is fortified. There are no obvious entryways. "This is an unknown planet, space elf, we really should be... here..." The creature you've been travelling with trembles at the site of the monstrous fortress. A streak of lightening flashes through the darkening sky."Nonesense! This is the perfect oppawtunity to plunder." you say. You nod once confidently. >>1469977Thanks a lot, I really appreciate that, and the encouragement. <3
>>1469997welp if there isnt anything obvious lets move on for now and come back when we've sharpened up our plunder skill
Rolled 3, 6 = 9 (2d6)>>1470000The octopus is just being an octo-pussyI'm sure it's filled with nervous little rabbit people who throw riches at the slightest agitationRolling for "what could go wrong?"
>>1470001This I suppose. If we don't find anything else we could always blast our way in using the bomb.
>>1469997*shouldn't be here To everyone: >What do you you?
>>1470022Blast our way in with the bombs
>>1470022Use a tree to slingshot us over.Shame the fort belongs to amazonian giantesses that catch you.
>>1470020>>1470057>>1470068You use a low hanging tree branch as a catapult to sling the cylindrical bomb at the fortified wall. >>1470018(Drawing coming)(Sorry for late reply folks will have to end soon - need to do stuff then bed.)
"Come oooooon little rabbit people!" By shaking your creature friend a communicator device falls out of some hidden crevice.
>>1470084>>1470084Pick it up and pretend to be a commander of a space cruser. Dont mind the giant hands over the wall tho.
>>1470105This works out better.>>1470106Edit: Dont mind the very outintheopen giantess amazon in the wall.
>>1470084I wonder what the signal strength on the comm is. Once we're done here we might be able to use it to lure that Pirate Vessel to us so we could commandeer it.
>>1470105well lets go say hi, ask if shes got any loot
>>1470106>>1470107>>1470109>>1470126You place the bomb on to a branch and stand on top of it then jump causing the branch to spring. The cylindrical canister turns through the air and smacks dead against the fortress wall. For a few pregnant moments nothing happens - the bomb is a du-- DA-DOOOOM!Pices of hard stone go flying from the blast. Through the cavernous hole in the wall you see a larger than life Amazonian tribesman staring augers at you and ... and... Hey, just what is my buddy's name anyway?Certainly not full of riches, that's for sure. Although this walkie talky thing sure could come in handy.>Choose a name for the creatureYou put the device up to your long elvish ear:"Hellow? Dis is spase cruser commander Missus, umm.. oh screw it. This is Cristal Cutlass, the Space Pirate Queen of Space and the single gwatest pirate in all existence! Listen, I'm the one that blew up that ship, so if you think you have what it takes to steal the treasure of the greatest space pirate, then come and get me!!""Okay miss... Cutlass" a man's grizzled voice says to your surprise. "I will." Your mouth falls a bit flat. "That's what I wanted, right?" The amazonian lifts a leg out of the hole in the wall... You say meekly,"Do.. do you have any loot?" (After you guys choose a name we'll end it here and do to be continued!)
>>1470157I hope that lady enjoys broken bones since she just stepped out to a five story drop.
