For time beyond count a shattered hull of an ancient starship has drifter throughout the lonely stars. Its design, pitted and warped as though it had been subjected to great heat and destruction is distinctly alien in appearance, rounded and flowing lines where the superstructure is still intact. Scattered throughout the hulk are scorched and frozen corpses of ages past. Some tall, lithe figures of flesh long dead, shriveled to dust, their bodies rent by razored claws.

Many however, are black chitin and corded muscle. Shells cracked and scorched by great heat they lay in heaped piles throughout the wreck. Even as ancient corpses they give off an air of menace and animal fury.

Deep within the twisting corridors is a chamber, layers of resin as thick as a bulkhead sealing in the thin atmosphere, preserving the precious contents.

A clutch of fleshy eggs is cradled within a nest of resin, the material cushioning them from impacts with asteroids and space debris. A faint vibration echoes through the hulk as a small vessel docks to it with magnetic claws, a umbilical joining to the hull as a entrance is carved into existence

>Ambush time.

The fleshy petals of your egg curl open and as the protective membranes slide away you scuttle to the surface, fluid dripping from your many jointed legs.

You scurry along the floor, the resin coated surfaces providing natural grip for your legs as you scale the walls as vibrations travel through the floors, whatever has entered the wreck is getting closer to your sanctum.

With a high pitched whine a shower of dust begins cascading from the wall of resin. A whirring metal blade appears and slowly rotates in a large circle, atmosphere whistling past as the incision is extended.

With a final hiss and *thunk* a circular portion of the wall falls away and bright lights probe inwards into the murky gloom. The figures that enter are bipedal, clad in thick, white suits with round, bubbled helmets. They progress in a group of four, excitedly investigating the chamber.

Your fellow eggmates have sealed themselves in their eggs at the loss of atmosphere and you know you have but a short time before you succumb. Your options of a potential host are...

A figure separates from the others, wandering near your hiding place. The figure is engrossed with the glowing display from a small, wrist mounted screen, gesturing widely towards the others. They raise a small, spherical object and it lifts off from their palm, circling the room in the low gravity.

You crouch low as the camera drone hovers in front of you, flashing a bright blue grid upon your hiding figure. The human controlling it seems to not see you in the picture and the drone moves on.

With a silent flutter of many jointed limbs you creep toward the edge of your hiding spot and peer over as your chosen human steps closer and closer.

With a rapid uncoiling of your tail you leap, releasing a diluted blast of your acidic blood as the human looks up in shock. The synthetic material of the helmet boils away and shatters. With a cry of alarm the humans voice is sucked away in the sudden vacuum. His gasping mouth is filled with a probing proboscis, your tail wrapping securely around his throat as his struggles intensify for a moment before fading away.

You slip from your first body and slither down the trachea of your first host, taking up residence in the warm confines of his chest cavity...

>Continue next post.
>>
>Hours later

Your body has grown quickly, adopting a legless, serpentine form with a extremely hard skull and needlelike teeth.

You have grown too large for this current body which is currently resting, unaware of your presence beyond a difficulty in breathing and chest pains that they associate with vacuum burns.

You coil and ram, again and again, the hard plate of the sternum cracking under your relentless assault as the host begins bucking in pain. With a triumphant screech you rip your way free and the former hosts thrashing ceases.

Surveying your new surroundings you are in a large whitish room, the walls directly above your former hosts bed now dripping gore from your explosive entrance.

>78. Relocate body to vent.

You scramble around the antiseptic smelling room widely, your mildly adhesive body wriggling around the walls, leaving a faint trail of mucus and blood.

You pause, snuffling along a small grate, the thin metal rattling loosely in its frame, the small screws barely holding it in. With a wrench of your tail the corner of the grate is ripped free, allowing you access to the air ducts.

Returning to the body you rip out several choice organs. Lungs, liver, spleen, kidneys and large fatty deposits are all ferried to the air vents, leaving a thick trail of gore leading up the wall.

Deep within the air ducts you begin to feast, gnawing at the tender meat until your carapace cracks and you shed, several times over.

Hours later you creep along the air ducts, your small talons clacking along the floor. You are the size of a small dog for now, with a needle sharp tail blade the size of a small dagger. Your claws can easily gouge and rip flesh and you can move throughout the vents with perfect ease.

Far, far behind you a scream of horror and loss echoes through the vents. It seems your host has been discovered...

>82. Search for more food

You sit on your haunches in a crossroads of the vents, your slaver pooling on the ground as you sniff the air. You are hungry. Ravenously hungry.

You scent the air, head waving back and forth as you search for food. Humans usually come with some form of animals after all.

Suddenly a scent reaches you and you take off along the tunnel towards its source. Claws clicking along the metal ducts you find a small grate overlooking a large room containing dozens of small cages. Large and small four legged animals, rodents and reptiles are milling about, their scent tantalizing you. A slim female human walks among the cages, taking notes on a clipboard. She seems to be alone.

You press against the grate, the thin metal bending under your assault. Below you the gathered pens of mammals and reptiles go berserk. A chorus of barks, squeals and howls ring out as the human looks on curiously.

"What has gotten into you?" she asks curiously, peering into a pen of howling dogs, the animals snapping furiously at the bars.

Im the noise and confusion you snap the screws from their moorings, prying open the grate unnoticed by the rooms sole human occupant.

Digging your claws into the ceiling you scuttle along above her, a growl emanating from your maw as thin line of slaver drips down.

Unfortunately it lands directly on her shoulder and she turns curiously, wiping away the viscous substance and looking directly up into your eyeless visage.

"what- what the hell!!!" she yelps, backing away quickly. You lunge, claws swiping wildly as she stumbles backwards, catching her ankle she falls away, narrowly missing your razor claws.

"Aiieeeeee!!!! HELP!!!" she screams, fumbling for a small button on a lanyard around her neck.

You lunge again, tail blade ripping through the air and ripping through flesh like a scythe. The lanyard falls away, its ends stained red as the researcher falls back, throat pumping blood in crimson arcs across the nearby glass cages.

You crouch atop the fallen researcher, inner jaw crunching through the flimsy bone of her skull and allowing you access to the nutritious meat within.

Scooping the last scraps of flesh from the now empty skull you tear into the delicious, tender organs, filling your belly to bursting. Dragging the remains of her body behind you, you retire to the air vents, curling into a nest of resin and flesh you molt, your body growing larger and more muscular.

You scurry around the ducts, appreciating your new size and strength. Your body is streamlined and powerful, your claws are razor sharp and viciously hooked. Your tail blade is a curved blade that stretches nearly eight inches long, its edges alternate between shaving sharp and serrated.

You peer through vents occasionally, your eyeless gaze scouring the rooms for anything that seems to be important to these humans.

You find a large room that you cannot yet enter that contains a large, humming device that white garbed humans walk around, checking blinking displays and turning dials.

You find a room with a secure lock on the door that contains racks of black objects, large and small and also a..... Human that is not human? He walks and talks yes but... Is not alive. You have seen several others like him inboard through the grates but this one is different. They are silent and blank, he speaks and emotes like a human. Odd... And unnatural.

Further on you find the ducts are blocked by thick, rotating grates of sharpened metal. Just from your observations you can tell they would easily shear through your carapace.

You clean the last scraps of tissue from your claws and growl happily. This new form is much more suited to your goals than the last one.

Taking off along the tunnels you peer through the grates, eager to see what this new dwelling has to offer you.

You see a large room with many flat, rectangular objects at which humans are seated. They seem to be eating and socializing and most seem generally excited and happy.

Further along you find a grate overlooking a group of doors. Inside a open door you can see a cushioned surface on which a human is laying, a small tablet in his hands.

Further still you find the duct begins to curve with a blocked grate leading upwards. You believe with a dedication of force you could make your way up. Following the curving duct you peer through the occasional grates. You see several large white rooms with animals in cages and restraints being prodded and examined by humans and the.... Not-human humans. Strange.

72+1. Sabotage engines.

You make your way back through the ducts, intent on ruining SOMETHING in this hive of scum and cleanliness. You scurry along the ductwork, seeking out a choice target.

As you pass the room with the large whirring contraption you pause, this seems AWFULLY important with the amount of humans and Not-humans that were tending to it earlier.

Pressing against the thin metal of the grate it pops free with a muted clang as a lone human sits at a terminal, tapping away at a report.

You slip amongst the terminals and computer stations, unnoticed by the lone technician. Diving into the belly of the control station you rip free bundles of wires, silencing alarms and warnings before they sound. Worming your way into the depths of the Reactor you nip your claw, dripping several fat drops of your acidic blood onto the delicate and hopefully irreplaceable engine components.

Immediately the metal begins smoking and bubbling, rapidly corroding away. You wriggle free and dart into the grate as the machine begins smoking and shaking, the technician worriedly checking the now unresponsive control station.

Wriggling away into the ductwork you barely make the turn when a resounding *BOOM* echoes behind you and the engine room is consumed in a roiling fireball.

Immediately the outside lrights are replaced by dim red lighting and a blaring klaxon sounds

"ENGINE FAILURE. ENGINE FAILURE. EMERGENCY POWER ACTIVATED. EMERGENCY POWER ACTIVATED. BACKUP GENERATORS ONLINE. BACKUP GENERATORS ONLINE"

As you watch from a grate groups of humans in thick, protective gear run toward the engine room, bulky cylinders in their hands

>88. Sibling search.

You feel a surge of loneliness as you watch humans scurry about, desperately attempting to breathe life back into their dying station. You were not alone in the beginning. You had siblings once. A clutch of eggs that you were a part of.

You crouch and perform the Xenomorph equivalent of closing your eyes. Extending your senses outward you search for a sign of your siblings.

THERE! The faintest of whispers! A voice... No a PAIR of voices! Questioning in their solitude.

You return eagerly to the upward turned grate and ram against the reinforced metal. Again and again until it bends and breaks away. Scrambling into the duct you head upwards, into the next level of the station.

You crawl along the ductwork, occasionally peering through the grates. Its similar to the lower level but is more.... Professional? The lights are dimmed but a cool white instead if the harsh red of the lower level.

There are fewer humans on this level and many are older, accompanied by the silent Not-humans.

You spy a human sleeping area, a more decorated human eating room and several more of the large, white rooms. Inside the cages you spy several new species of animals, large, bipedal fur covered creatures chief among them.

But they are not your target. You follow the faint wisps of thought and find a isolated lab, a human and a Not-Human peering into a large glass enclosure. The human suddenly jumps backward at a thump from within and you detect a wisp of desire and frustration from within.

The Not-Human speaks. "His" voice is smooth and emotionless
"Doctor Harraway, the Lifeform ignores any and all nutrient supplies in any combination. It simply doesn't eat from what we can tell. From preliminary study of the Organism that attacked Technician Shaw in the derelict, it seems to lack a proper mouth, utilizing only a fleshy proboscis"

The older human, Doctor Harraway, puzzles over this
"Perhaps a secretion from a caretaker? Or maybe it produces its own energy through bacteriological reactions? I don't know why theyre so aggressive if they dont eat anything however."

They have a pair of your siblings! Fresh from the egg! You must free them before they are too weak to implant!

You brace your claws into the grate and push, muscles straining as the square piece of steel pops free with a whisper quiet scrape of steel. The android and scientist never look up as you drop to the floor, gripping the square of steel in your claws.

You creep along the floor as they peer into the holding tank, observing the increasingly furious facehuggers as they attempt to bore through the reinforced glass.

With a leap you bound high into the air, the grate flying from your claws in a whirring arc. The Android turns in surprise and has the briefest moment to see the heavy, pointed piece of metal before it rams into his face. With a strangled gurgle and a gout of milky white fluid the top half of the androids head is sheared off, his body flopping backward and twitching spasmodically, fingers curling and feet kicking.

Doctor Harraway turns in shock at his sudden deluge of android fluid, his eyes wide as he takes in your figure as you leap again, sinking your claws into his thighs and shoulder, one bony hand covering his mouth as your tail whips around, the aging humans legs going limp as your tailblade stabs deep into his spine.

His eyes roll into his head as he collapses, his face white in agony as he slips into shock. With a slash of your gore covered tail blade the reinforced glass is cracked, the second blow sunders the material and releases the facehuggers.

The desperate creatures race forward, squabbling over who gets to implant Harraway.

Harraway never wakes as the facehugger gently clambers over him, latching onto his face and sliding the proboscis down his throat. The other dejectedly climbs onto you, curling around your upper arm and holding securely with its tail.

You sling Harraway over your shoulder, hauling him into the vents and securing him to a nearby junction with resin. You hunker down and wait, burbling happily.

>Hours later.

Harraway bucks, his eyes wide and mouth gritted behind the mask of resin that muffles his voice. His chest heaves once, twice, ribs cracking as a spot of blood appears.

On the next push his eyes roll up in his head, his chest exploding in a burst if gore as a slim, squealing form emerges, thrashing blindly in the cool air

New sibling! You burble happily and stroke the new XenoMorphs body with your claw as it turns and begins ripping away chunks of Harraway chest cavity, gorging itself rapidly.

Your new drone peels itself from the cocoon of resin and flesh it had constructed for itself, stretching its new limbs and growling happily. You burble briefly, bumping snouts before you turn, your younger sibling following close behind.

You scurry throughout the ducts, your claws scraping the metal as you leave the upper level behind. Returning to the lower level you make your way through the ducts, noting the increasingly nervous looking humans in the hallways and labs. The dim red lighting is still present.

Ah. It seems the lack of excess power on this level has been fortuitous. The rotating blades of the secure wings ductwork have ceased. The blades sit motionless. Picking your careful way through the sharpened metal you hiss in pleasure as you find yourself in new territory

The secure labs are much more... Sterile.. Than the main floors. The scientists here are reserved, speaking in low, hushed voices as they observe Exotic creatures. Many limbed giant insects, amorphous blobs of sentient jelly, quadripedal beasts armored in bone plates. All these and more dwell within the secure area. Androids stand still along the walls at points, cradling long, silver rods and bulky rifles.

Suddenly, a flash of motion catches your eye as you watch through the grate. A flash of green skin, black-green tendrils swinging as a massive figure crouches behind a partition.

A android walks by, seemingly oblivious to the hulking figure crouching steps away. Suddenly a klaxon sounds and the figure explodes into motion, ripping the androids head from its body

"SPECIMEN 12 HAS ESCAPED. LOCKDOWN GRID 4. LOCKDOWN GRID 4! CONTAINMENT TEAMS TO GRID 4!"

Immediately androids launch into motion as the scientists run for cover. The hulking figure springs into a run, throwing the androids head to know away a rifle aimed in its direction.

As it turns a corner it pauses and roars in rage as chorus of quiet *Puffs* sounds. The figure stumbles back, a cluster of darts adorning its chest. With a growl of rage it sags to the ground and thrashes for a moment before falling still.

A group of androids fit it with thick, metal shackles and drag it away as a voice comes over the intercom

"Specimen 12 reacquired. Return to your stations"

>83. Search for that predator!

That beast. It triggers ancestral memories deep within your mind. The hunter of hunters. Butcher of butchers. The great Predators.

A perfect and fitting host.

You slink throughout the ductwork, slipping through more of the sharpened fanblades, heading towards where they dragged the comatose alien hunter.

Below you can hear a pair of humans talking as they walk

"-third time this week. How does it keep getting out?"

"No idea. Apparently this time it picked the lock on its manacles, disabled the alarm, destroyed three Guard units and managed to almost get through to Basic level."

"Holy shit. If that thing got down to the hangar bay The Director would have us all spaced."

"If we're lucky"

The humans turn away and keep walking as you follow the faint trail of phosphorescent blood on the floor.

It leads to a literal prison made of interlocking steel and reinforced glass, guarded by no less than a dozen android guards, their guns trained on the chained, muzzled, shackled and drugged Predator.

This.... May be tricky.

>61. Distraction time

At a thought from you your drone scurries away across the ducts, headed to the other side of the lab. You carefully and quietly creep through the ducts until you are directly above the restrained Predator. He appears to have been heavily wounded, his body covered in crudely stitched gashes as well as one of his mandible being broken off.

Your drone tells you it is going well as it ransacks a chemical storage room. Volatile liquids and acids are splattered on the walls and dumped on the floor, cabinets are tipped over and shattered, their contents bursting into colored flame and noxious fumes.

Immediately a klaxon sounds, along with flashing red lights. The android guards perk their heads up, rushing off to deal with the sudden chemical fire, their duties forgotten.

Your drone burrows into the wall and begins shredding electrical bundles, silencing alarms and opening cages as the power short circuits.

Cries of alarm and pain ring out as several Exotic and ill tempered Alien species run rampant, Security Androids desperately attempting to corral the enraged beasts.

Seizing the opportunity you drop through the grate, landing next to the comatose Predator. Even in his heavily drugged state he growls weakly at you, flexing his arms in an attempt to rip free.

Quickly you yank his muzzle down and growl in victory as you fling the Facehugger down on his hideous maw. His struggles rapidly cease as the tail wraps around his throat, slowly cutting off his oxygen.

You quickly nip a claw, dripping acidic blood onto the manacles and chains, the shined metal rapidly corroding away. Hauling the ludicrously heavy creature over your shoulder you stuff him bodily into the air duct, dragging him along with your tail. Once you have gone a adequate distance you heavily secure the Predator in place, layering resin upon him until he resembles a large, ugly egg.

You growl softly, picking a chunk of gristle from between your teeth as your drone and Predalien nap behind you. They look to you for guidance as the oldest member of the family.

These humans, they lack your hive-think. They require assistance to communicate. If you can destroy how they call for help.... They will be unable to!

Your mental command rouses your siblings and they take off after you as you scurry through the ducts, claws scraping on the metal. You search through every grate, eying the humans inside, looking for anything important.

On the lower levels of the station you find your target. A isolated room with monitors adorning the wall and racks of servers humming softly as a human with a large headset speaks into a machine

"CMS Harpy this is Echo station, reporting suspicious activity on floors 3A through 2C. Main engine has been compromised and several Staff are unnacounted for. Requesting-Bbbrrrzzzkk!!- FUCK! Piece of shit!!"

The hapless comms technician never has a chance. Your Predalien rams the grate, ripping loose the thin metal. Dropping heavily to the ground the tech has a moment to turn and appraise the hulking mass of muscle and chitin before a bone pulping backhand crushes his nose and jaw, flinging him backward into the wall so hard it dents. If he ever wakes again he will be in agony.

You follow your bruiser down, the ever helpful drone bringing up the rear. Together the three of you rip loose panels, smash displays and drizzle acid onto the delicate components.

Within minutes the comms station is completely destroyed. A army of technicians couldn't repair this mess

>OP confused himself. Has been referring to your first family member as a drone when it was in fact runner sized. So your total family count is 1 drone (you), 1 Predalien (Unique Warrior) and 1 Runner.

>Runner into Shadow

You haul the unconscious and probably comatose technician into the ducts, dragging him along to a convenient wide portion of the ductwork.

At your mental common your Runner digs in, eating with such voracity that pieces of gore splatter the ceiling and blood pools for several feet along the ground. You watch hungrily as the runner stuffs themselves to the point of bursting, their carapace cracking along the back as they begin forming a cocoon of resin and flesh.

>Hours pass.

The cocoon shifts, a presence reaching you from within. A inky black claw punches through the membrane, ripping downward. Your new Shadow creeps out, long slender tail lashing. Its skin is a smoother, more rounded carapace, light seeming to absorb into the chitin. Its claws are long and curved with sticky pads on the palms of its palms and feet. The Shadow will never be seen until its too late.

>83. Secure Area to nest

Your family will require a safe place to live and grow. They need a place away from human curiosity. You scurry throughout the ducts, searching for a secure area.

Mess hall? No. Too many humans and theyre always in there.

Isolated lab? No. Humans and Androids occasionally come in there and it would be inconvenient.

Ventilation junctions? Possibly but those large spinning fans and moving parts could be hazardous. Plus it would be cramped for your Queen.

Armory? ....no. Just no. That's a very bad idea.

Cargo hold? You growl in happiness as you explore the vast, dark room. Humans rarely come down here and the massive space offers plenty of space.

>77. Scout for Key Weaknesses.

Your hive will need to cripple this station at one point or another. It will be important to know where to strike to do so.

Your family splits up, scattering among the grates, searching for anything that seems important.

A vast open room littered with shuttlecraft and ships of various sizes. A massive set of airlock doors comprise on multi-story wall. Dozens of humans and androids mill about, operating loading machines of differing builds.

A large set of machinery on the lower levels, a massive series of tubes and tanks filled with hyper efficient algae seem to be reoxygenating the stations air.

A seemingly secure lab in the upper reaches of the Labs, a massive brute of a creature locked within a steel reinforced enclosure. It is a hulking mass of bone plates and corded muscle.

Your Shadow reports that they have found a room filled with urgent human technicians, desperately keeping a group of straining machines running. As one weakens the lights dim momentarily...

>Shuttle Bay located. The main Entrance/exit for Echo station

>Atmosphere processing Beta located. One of the life support machines for Echo station. Destroying it may cause a significant drop in air quality and a spike in heat and humidity.

>Secure Holding Area. A Extremely large and powerful alien creature is held here. If it were to escape somehow it could be a powerful distraction

>55+3. Sabotage Shuttle bay.

Your Family reconvenes around you as your peer into the shuttle bay, watching the milling human and android workers. The humans seem to be standing back and letting the synthetics handle the more dangerous and bulky cargo.

They are oblivious as your family slips through the ducts, ripping loose interior panels abd shredding wiring leading from the control deck to the massive airlock door. Immediately alarms sound as the massive plates of metal begin grinding open, air whistling past. The humans begin running for cover, slapping on masks and dashing for any nearby airlocks to the main Station. The androids merely activate their magboots and begin securing the more valuable cargo and helping humans reach safety. Within seconds the cargo bay is open to the void of space, all air sucked from the vast expanse.

Your family dash along through the ducts, prying open the barricades that have slid down. The metal barriers clang back down with a heavy thump as the whistling air is cut off.

In the distant control deck a group of humans can be seen desperately attempting to get the massive doors to close, terrified as their orders aren't followed.

>Main shuttle bay is locked Open for now. It may be repaired in time but for now the Shuttle Bay is an airless void. Androids will still be found here and your Xenonorphs can survive a short time in vacuum before having to return to a oxygenated environment.

>Gather Food. Much food.

You will require a great amount of food to fuel the transformation into a queen. You and your siblings scatter throughout the lower levels of the station, searching for fresh, wriggling MEAT.

Entire holding areas are scoured. Every dog, goat and rabbit within ripped to pieces and ferried back to the nest, deposited in an ever growing pile. Isolated humans are snatched, their necks broken or skulls pierced, disappearing into the ducts without a sound. Your Predalien returns from a particularly juicy target with a group of humans bound in resin, dragging them like a morbid train.

The pile of food in your nest is truly titanic, a small mountain of flesh and gore that will fuel the transformation to a Queen for one of you.

I'm relegating myself to one text block at a time, I'm still thinking up Queen specific upgrades, misc upgrades (general hive wide perks/reproduction perks for eggs, etc) and hero specific perks. I'll try and invent something new each session.
>>
>Main PC to Queen. Shadow new main PC.

You turn to your subordinates, growling happily as the bow their heads, showing their support for you to become the new queen. You turn to the massive pile of flesh and begin ripping away pieces of meat, stuffing them into your maw. You have a burning pit within you that needs to be sated...
>Massive food Intake. Jumpstart to Queen.
>Days pass.

You are the Shadow, the nimble assassin of the Hive. You dangle from the roof of the cargo hold, gnawing at a cracked bone, looking down at the massive cocoon of the Queen. A huge egg shaped mound of resin and flesh the titanic figure within occasionally shifts. Your Predalien sibling crouches atop a nearby resin coated cargo container, toying with the skull and spine of a deceased human. Suddenly a presence reaches your minds from within the Cocoon. Dropping from the ceiling you freefall for a moment before grabbing onto the lip of a crate and swinging to cling to the side of a pipe.

A set of claws, easily a foot long puncture the cocoons walls, ripping downward through the pliable material. In the gush of clear fluid out steps a figure both regal and terrifying. A crest of intricate chitin protects her head and neck while her multiple arms grip the nearby crates for support. Her legs are as thick as your body, ending in wicked claws. At the end of her massive tail is a blade that stretches nearly three feet, sharp and strong enough to slash through steel. Your Queen growls happily as you both bow your heads, burbling in joy. Already her egg sac is filling with fluid, preparing to create the precious eggs

>Queen gained. The Queen is the only way to create new eggs. Eggs will be produced at a steady rate that can be improved with time. Eggs can be altered to create advanced unit eggs or differing egg types (Multiple facehuggers/Poppers/etc) The Queen is immobile but can detach from her egg sac to become a nearly unstoppable ubstoppable.

>92. Attack. Predalien goes for Cargo lift.

For the briefest moment you and the Freight Workers stare at each other, immobile as statues as they attempt to figure out what exactly theyre looking at.

"Sanchez? Sanchez what the fuck is that thing?" says one, visibly paling.

"What the fuck makes you think I'd know Ricky?? Its some kinda ducking science experiment!" yells another, stepping back and hefting a large prybar

You growl curiously, crawling forward along the wall as they all step back, blanching at the display of claws and teeth. One steps forward, turning the nozzle on a waist mounted cutting torch and puffing a burst of flame in your face.

Ouch.

"Get! Go on! GET! Stupid fucki-GRRK"

His burst of bravado is cut off as you leap forward, driving your tailblade through the base of his throat, using your momentum to swing around, the blade grating against his spine as his head is twisted 180°.

The nearest of the Freight workers freezes as his coworkers blood splatters his face. A blurring slash and you bound past as he sinks to the ground, grasping desperately at the slick Grey coils falling from his belly.

The remaining Freight worker dives behind the cargo loader, the massive bipedal machine twisting its gripping claws as you hiss menacingly, tail waving

"You fucking fuck! Come get some! You aint killing me! Im gonna fucking squash your little ass!" the driver roars, his face red and eyes wide.

A earthshaking roar rings out above you as your Predalien sibling leaps from a high stack of shipping containers. The Cargo loader has a brief moment to look up before several hundred pounds of alien flesh, bone and chitin smash down, a set of four inch long claws ripping through the front of his skull.

The Predalien kicks backward, launching into the air as the towering machine teeters backward. The cowering Freight worker behind it never looks up before several tons of metal crushes him into paste.

You rip loose a panel, exposing a inviting bundle of wire. Unfortunately you lack your predecessors affinity for this.you plunge your claws into the wires and slash wildly.

You've never smelled burnt chitin and flesh before but you have now. Your left claw is burnt and bubbled, the tips of your claws smoking. It will heal but holy shit that hurt.

Shaking your injured claw you break through the grate on the opposite side of the screaming humans. With a triumphant screech you grab a human, smashing his head into the wall and growling menacingly as his eyes roll up in his head.

The other humans scream wordlessly and cower as you and the Predalien advance, driving them into the corner where they are quickly subdued and layered in resin. Hauling them two at a time you happily return to your nest, your Queens pleasure filling your mind as you adhere them to the walls, burbling joyously at the eight fleshy eggs still wet from their mother.

We should create warriors, since we're still stuck in one base with humans who surely know something is wrong at this point, and we're going to have to deal with security androids eventually. For now we should retain a higher percentage of warriors than drones.

>>
>>1469677
> Not wanting to remake the Ox.
> Son, I am disappoint.
>>
>>1469711
The Atmosphere Processor is essentially temperature/humidity control and air filtration. Which means, if we destroy it, the station will become hot, humid and stinky.

Life Support is the oxygen/water reserves needed for surviving in space for prolonged periods. We need those too.
>>
>>1469711
Life support keeps air moving throughout the ship. Atmospheric processor filters it and reoxygenates it. I probably should have put it as "ventilation controls" instead of Life support honestly. OP is dumb occasionally
>>
>>1469746
Basically this. Im kinda dumb sometimes
>>
>>1469704
I'm thinking we should target either the Main Armory (though that might go better with Warriors instead of Drones) or the Gravity Generator.

How in the hell you'd manage to build a machine that can manipulate one of the fundamental universal forces and STILL get ganked by rape-monsters is beyond me.
>>
>>1469749
Thanks for the clarity, for our next major action (IE we should probably gather more forces first) we should switch off the ventilators until the humans in the base are too weak and impaired to resist us, then we can sweep through the base, put the androids out of action, and explore the rest of the base at our leisure.
>>
>>1469774
Sounds good. If I recall the Androids are autonomous, and can function on their own. If not, it would be great if their was a central terminal bank that controls them.

What triggers Androids to go into a murder spree?
>>
>>1469818
Well from all the movie/game examples I can recall (especially original Alien and Alien: Isolation) it's actually that they've just been given specific orders which give them leave to kill humans under certain circumstances (Ash was instructed to kill any crew members who either suspected or definitively knew the company was involved, the Sevastapol androids were given leave to kill any troublemaking humans who tried to escape).
>>1469752
Hey QM, are these autonomous androids or more primitive networked androids?
>>
>>1469832
There are Autonomous androids and networked androids. The autonomous androids are mainly in the secure labs and upper levels. The security and maintenance androids are networked. If their controls are destroyed they will revert to simple behavior and perform their last orders until they are destroyed.
>>
>>1469818
Well there we have it, we can knock out the central computer for the lower level androids but (and this makes complete sense) the security androids will still be capable of operating independently. At least we can bypass all the janitor androids, however we should still cook up some more warriors to make sure we have enough punch to kill the security ones.
>>
>>1469870
Agreed. We still need to find the network area
>>
>4 Drones.

The eggs open with gentle squelches, the bony legs of facehuggers pulling their gangly bodies onto the rims. The subdued humans struggle in their resin prisons as the Facehuggers creep closer.

Their shouts of fear are cut off by probing proboscis's. The tightening tails cut off their muffled screams and struggles.

You are the Hives first warrior, a unique mix of XenoMorph and Predator. A hulking mass of muscle and chitin you are a hammer against the hives enemies.

The Shadow curls within a nest of resin, tending to their scorched arm. A pair of the new drones remain behind, taking up defensive positions among the crates.

You set off along the grates, your drones following close behind. Using your natural sensitivity to radio waves and radiation you observe one of Not-humans. They seem to be receiving signals of some sort. Perhaps if these signals could be halted they would cease to be a threat? They are highly durable and strong, stronger even than some of your race.

After hours of observations on differing groups of Androids you have the general location of their hub locked down. A large room on the upper level, racks of humming servers and control panels tended by human technicians. several security androids standing at their posts within the room remain perfectly motionless, small black objects holstered at their hips.

>81+3. Great success. Was getting short circuited part of your plan?

One of your drones scurries away through the ducts, following the faint humming of the wires leading to the rooms lights. The human technicians plank away at their terminals, occasionally sipping coffee.

Your drone reports success as it slashes through the thick bundle of wires. The lights immediately die, plunging the room into darkness. Immediately the androids flick on flashlights, asking the humans in monotone voices
"Do you require assistance? We seem to have suffered a localized power failure"

One of the technician swats away the offered help, clearly exasperated with the single minded synthetics.
"Im fi-IM FINE. GO! Get the maintenance synchs on it before I literally lose my mind"

"If you require Psychological assist-"

"GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY FACE"

The ever polite android doesn't have time to reply as you smash through the ductwork directly above his head, hooking your claws through his eye sockets, ripping the entire top of his head off in a shower of milky white fluid.

The other androids draw their weapons and attempt to open fire yet the Technician who stands frozen in fear is blocking their shots.

With screech your drones burst through the grates, one tackling a fleeing technician and thumping his head against the floor with a wet *smack*

Your drones leap upon the pile, claws slashing and inner jaws punching deep. Even the durable androids are no match, their bodies rent open and torn to bits.

Growling curiously you approach the station, the terrified technicians cowering further into corner as you grow closer, your assistant drones snarling to dissuade against any movement.

You take a guess, opting that humans are more likely to associate green with positive and press it gingerly with a claw, immediately a small symbol pops up and you excitedly tap it. Several more appear and you tap them as well. What fun!

The voice on the other end devolves into random swears and curses at this "Allen", echoing from small speakers built into the ceiling of each room.

You growl as one of the Technicians leaps forward desperately
"SEND HELP! PLEASE! THEY KILLE-AAAGGHH!"
The technician bursts out before being smashed backwards by a flying tackle, bones audibly breaking with a scream of pain

You roar into the PA, the horrifying sound echoing through the entire station as you lift your claws high, bringing them down in a powerful arc as you continue your screech.

The metal crumples like a tin can, wires sparking and glass and delicate components scattering across the ground.

Your drones immediately launch into a flurry of destruction, smashing the servers and console banks, ripping out bundles of wires and smearing acidic blood onto anything important looking.

The unfortunate technicians are secured in bundles of resin as you make your way back to the cargo hold. Peering through the occsssional grate you note that the androids are either repeating the same motions over and over or forming defensive perimeters around labs and Dormitories, shepherding confused humans along with monotone commands.

Dropping back into the cargo hold you secure the humans to the crates, growling happily as a facehugger rapidly adheres itself to ones face, the humans struggles rapidly slowing.

At a command from your queen you rip out the throat of the other, it seems time for another warrior..

>Heavy Warrior created. A mass of muscle and chitin the heavy warrior has no taste for subtlety. A sledgehammer to be wielded against the hives enemies.

>The next day

You growl appreciatively as your new heavy warrior hauls itself from the remains of its cocoon. Standing easily over eight feet tall it is a beast of muscle and claws, its head and flanks encased in glossy chitin. The thick curved blade at the end of its tail resembles a machete more than the slender daggers of the rest if your species.

>Heavy warrior-Front Line assault troops of the hive.

You, four drones, The Shadow and your new heavy warrior all put your collective backs into your work for the next few hours. Pipes are rent open, venting steam into the rapidly hardening resin tunnels that now stretch over the majority of the cargo hold. Your facehugger can survive indefinitely within the moist, warm structure and any interlopers will be hard pressed to tell the shiny black of the walls from your glossy shells.

You crouch atop a outcropping of resin and gnaw a bit of flesh from a femur. Your queen is quite safe, the eggs are quite safe and your hive is ever growing.

>Hive is much safer and easier to defend, facehuggers can now survive indefinitely in the cargo hold, adding to the defense.

In that case I say we alter the air circulation so that the humans can no longer resist us effectively. Rampage over the remaining security androids and capture the incapacitated humans.

Then we can go exploring. Rollan to sabotage the air circulation system, after it's been shut off we should also leave a few drones or the Shadow to ambush anyone who tries to re-activate it.

>71. Sabotage secure area
>Shadow time

You recline in a small alcove in the resin encrusted walls of your slowly growing hive. Nearby the Predalien and newly formed heavy warrior tussle, their blows landing with heavy smacks and playful growls.

The might of the security androids is still powerful, disorganized as they may be for now. You will need powerful assets and the unwitting assistance of the stations test subjects.

Gathering a pair of your drones about yourself you make your way through the ducts, the winding passages quickly becoming familiar to your kind.

You eventually come back across the heavily reinforced secure holding area. Inside the bulky cages and tanks are dangerous and aggressive Alien lifeforms. Inside the center most cage is the massive Alien Colossus. A beast of armored plates and muscle. Its boxlike head conceals a massive beak lined with sharpened spurs of teeth. Clusters of darts hang from gaps in its armor as a smaall group of androids attempt to sedate it for transport or testing.

You growl in pleasure, these will be fine help in causing chaos in the station.

>80+2. Containment failure.

Androids and humans walk among the reinforced cages, the furious creatures restrained within howling and shrieking in fury as they attempt to get loose if only for a moment. How they long to rip and tear, to rend flesh with fang and claw.

Your drones scurry through the ducts, eager to sow chaos. They select isolated corners of the cavernous holding area. They screech and claw at the ducts, scraping the metal and leaping around. Immediately Androids heft their tranquilizer rifles and make for the noises, extending long shock-poles to jab the ductwork.

You drop down in the distraction, severing power to the locks with swift slashes of knife sharp claws. As the doors swing open you leap to the next block of cages.

With roars of rage and howls of booodlust the alien creatures burst free, bowling over androids and mauling the screaming staff. You continue leaping between cage blocks, releasing the bloodthirsty captives within.

Soon nearly half of the dozens of creatures are released, the Colossus thrashing and slamming its bulk against the walls of its cage

>86+2. Gather hosts.

In the ensuing chaos of the rampaging Alien creatures you decide this will be a wonderful opportunity to procur some hosts.

Over the next few hours you and your drones ambush isolated humans, yanking the hapless bipeds into the grates and securing them safely. The security androids refuse to venture forth from their fortified areas so their screams of terror are disregarded.

>12 Humans captured.

You also manage to capture one of the particularly impressive alien specimens.

The Bulky Mutation is a increased Strength and Size. Workers given the Bulky mutation are stronger and can enter combat effectively. Warriors given the mutation are harder to kill and more damaging in melee.
