The walls and roof are reinforced with the spare stones of the mountain. The hard work of your villagers shines through as the construction of the nursery is completed months ahead of the estimated date.

You now have room for 40! Baby shrooms. Not only that, a large door has been added to the side to allow for bigger bodies to be dragged into the building.

>Kinder-garden: done

---

The time has come! The ogre will be given to the sun god U-SO. Hopefully with this tribute the god of sunlight will finally put you into his good graces.

The body of the Ogre is burned before the shrine of the gods (As U-so has no fully dedicated shrine) with the Priest shroom overseeing the event. He tells you the future will surely shine bright through this offering that hos been given.

>Something for your hard work-

---

A bolstering of the army has become a must. After losing several of your troops to the battle against the Ogres, several villagers have requested to learn to protect and serve your people.

First and foremost however you must construct the weaponry and armor for this new generation of warriors. Wood is taken from the forest and crafted into armor, stone is crafted into some new spears.

>+10 Stone Spearmen
>+20 Armored spearmen

---

Event: Priest has given word from shroom and u-so. They tell of riches to the north within your realm. They tell gold, weapons, books, and more all yours for the taking. However this is where the priests are conflicted.

The Priest of U-so urges you to take this bounty and kill any others who would try and take your rightful gains. But the original priest, the priest of Shroom tells you otherwise. This bounty is not yours to take, it should be returned to the land from which it came.

With the other superpowers already using metals you feel it is time to start getting a start on metal items yourselves. The scientist already has a mold of a Speartip and is crafting them now. These spears will be given to the strongest spearmen and the older stone spears will be given to some other shrooms who will become (P) Spearmen

>+ 5 Copper Spearmen
>+ 5 Stone Spearmen

---

With a shrine dedicated to Shroom and a shared shrine in the center of town, it is now time to make a shrine of U-so. A small plot of land is cleared and construction begins on a nice, new shrine of U-so

Complete with a neverending fire and a place for the bodies given to the god of sunlight.

Lastly, your distance fighting corps was a vital part of the last battle. The ability to strike at a range is an asset you can't afford to take lightly. Stone from the mountain is crafted and slings are made. It'll take a few turns before the slingers can even be used in combat though.

---

Chief and a detachment of the newly improved Copper spearmen and slingers head to the north in search of whatever this treasure may be. Lead onward by the priests who told you of this fortune in the first place.

Days of following the directions of the priests, the objective is found. Three massive wagons, filled with wooden boxes and other assorted items sit on what your people can easily tell is a game trail. Blood splashed against the white cloth covering the wagons is a clear indicator of what happened. Some kind of predator must have attacked and been to much to handle by whatever people were traveling.

Your villagers rejoice in this haul. You can get this back to the village in a day tops!

You approach the wagons. But you are stopped by a human. Dressed in one of those nifty suits of armor you saw long ago.

"BACK BEAST!, These are the property of his highness the Emperor!"

This human is on his last legs, his armor bloody. Unable to stand straight. Leaning against a Wagon meekly holding a spear in your direction.

What you know
>He is human.
>He is probably the last of the caravan
>He will die soon without intervention

The shrine to U-so is done! Anything given to U-so will surely go over much better. But nuts with that, the priest tells you U-so is having a great time. He is even telling stories of how U-so is gloating to Shrom about your people following his wishes rather than hers.

This is surely just a myth but what if its true?! Shrom has never been a goddess to hold a grudge like U-so. Having both gods on your side is sure to a great benefit if you were to ask for something.

Your Scientists each take a look at the armor. The method of crafting this is vastly more advanced than your wooden armor. The plates are so finely intertwined and they didn't even use vine to hold it all together. Seems they used some form of strong brown material and smaller pieces of metal.

"Truly, an advanced technique."

Turning to the swords. The scientists hand them to some of the warriors, while they aren't big enough to use as actual weapons, they seem to function as daggers... kinda. The warriors tell you this weapon feels more... Not more useful but... "How do we put this... More fierce."

Lastly the shields. First the man don't know what to make of them. "Is this some kind of toy?" they try throwing it back and forth. "Pretty fun... Yes." But scientist slaps some sense into the villagers and retrieves them all. (except for one he let them play with)

The brown stuff seems to be some kind of handle... "OHHHH, That's how it's used!" Scientist grabs a spear and trys hitting it. Even with all the strength of a shroom man hardly even a dent is made.

This bounty of goods is a sign from the gods that they are with you, and the priest suggests a "Festival". A large get together to rejoice in the bounty the gods have given to you

"What do?" you ask the priest. You aren't really sure what events you could do that are different than your normal routine.

"Well...well..."

>Suggestions of what will take place at the Festival Choose your events wisely and take into account your gods personalities.

---
>>
"Hey guys." you think one day. "What was that story the priest told way back when?"

The shrooms sitting around think for a moment before they can say without a doubt. "I forgot."

A method of keeping records and the history of your people would be a nice thing to have. The humans have it, whatever people made that other 'book' has it. They even have their very own versions of the writing. As the scientist has studied the books and noted they have nothing in common in the sense of how the symbols look.

"Neat idea chief"
"Yeah, cool thought boss"

Well here is an interesting crossroads. How should you make a language? Base it off of the weird book of the south! Or the language of humans? Heck you could make your OWN if you wanted!

What steps are there in the creation of a language anyway? First you will need to create an alphabet that can cover the wide variety of sounds and ideas that can be expressed. A scientific assistant, a villager, the second priest, bully shroom, and you all sit together in the town hall and look over the vast array of different symbols.

Hours pass as you assign them to the various pieces of every word. Then the naming starts...

You go through and chisel in stone the names of every single thing you have come into contact with. "Trees, mud, predators, humans, Ogres." All the words are written. The concepts they involve chiseled in a small picture beside the symbols that is your alphabet.

A language to call our own!

With preparation for the "Festival" under way. The best course of action is to git rid of all these useless pieces of armor in order to build armor and weapons that can actually fit our kind.

Save a single shield, Armor, and Sword, the rest of the haul is loaded into one of the wagons. The shipment heads for the smelter in the southeast. Melting down all this metal may take a little while...

Might as well burn it.
>(1/2)

---

The town comes to you with ideas for what you can do in this event. All sorts of neat ideas come your way. You take each one and write them down on some stone tablets in your crude language.

The people seem pretty excited for the event. An event list is quickly brought to you.

"Shield toss, fakefight, mudbath, sacrifice to U-so, and ending with a song played to Shrom on the golden lyre."

Sounds like a fun roster. You greenlight the project. When your villagers are back from the smelter the festival will begin.

More, everyday words. That is your new focus. Words like "And, if, yes" things that don't convey a thing but attributes affecting the words. It's easier creating these, as you have been doing it for years. Though it's odd to see your words as actual physical objects.

These vast collections of words compile to make a dictionary, sorted by what letter they begin with. The stone that is completed is sized down to as thin as your tools can make them. The (still pretty heavy) slabs are then placed on the far side of the village, able to be seen and read by anyone who cares to learn.

A language to call our own!

Melting all this bronze down is a long and boring process. The bars are created and put back into the carts. Giving you a hefty new haul of Bronze. Fifty-seven bars of bronze to be exact.

Time to party!

All the shrooms gather. Putting aside their various duties and obligations to participate in a festival giving praise to U-so and Shrom. The day begins with a fun village game of Shield toss. No real objective to the game but fun none the less.

Offerings of small game are brought to the shrine of U-so. After of course, the feast! A great mudbath for the entire village, wondrous food galore for the entire town. It's followed by a fight.

Two of the most advanced warriors thought it'd be fun and a good way to please U-so. Weapons off, the two go at it and start beating the spore out of each other. The fight is bathed in glorious sunlight. Your people take it as a sign. But it could have just been a coincidence.

Lastly music. A wondrous melody created by the Priest is played in the honor of Shrom.

Free action: Talking to the specials

After the initial meeting is over and the shroom people go of to find their place in your society. There are some issues with rather cramped housing, but no urgent problems. Though housing the big guys may be a problem.

You find the two big guys lumbering outside the village. Just kinda walking around. You try to start a conversation with them. "Hey fellas, how are you today?"

They look at each other and back to you. They simply kneel to you and lower their caps in respect to you.

"That's fine guys, you can look up. I'm not that strict" You laugh

The two giants stand back up and look to you. Still not interacting.

"Good day chief! What can we do for you?"

Where'd that come from?

"Down here sir" you feel a knocking on your leg. It's the small shroom who emerged with the giants. "What do you request of us sir?"

"Why aren't they talking?"

"They aren't the smartest bunch sir. I was born with them in the body of that beast. Those two almost never talk, takes a while to understand what they feel. In fact, of all our brothers and sisters, nobody has interacted with them besides yours truly... Well, and you now."

"Do they... Understand spore?"

"Uh... I think so. They normally respond when I talk to them."

"Any reason your... Different from them?"

"Guess I got the looks, eh?" The lil guy laughs "Dunno, in honesty though sir. From the earliest I can remember the fellas have always been big and me small."

"Interesting... Well you guys are free to go."

"Thank you sir, have a great day" and small shroom bows. The giants copy his action. You begin to head off into the village but out of curiosity you take one last look behind you. Small shroom claps his hands together, with that one of the giants lifts him up and places him on his giant cap before walking away into the woods.

Event

A call of distress is given from the shroom on lookout duty. The first of its kind. A call to arms.

An alert all the watchmen are told only to give under one of two circumstances. The first, a 'must see' for the chief. This is not to be accompanied with a call to arms. A call to arms is reserved for the other event. Reptilians.

Your panicked villagers run to the cave beneath the city as the warriors and slingers prepare their weapons. The giant shrooms returns, given the word by their small friend, they sit around in the circle with the rest of the warriors of the village.

"Sir, my brothers and I wish to help defend our home" The small shroom tells you.

An update come in from the Shroom in the tower. Incoming from the southwest is a squad of the same creatures that had been sighted at the bullywug village. The party seems to be unaware of your existence for now, but are slowly but surely making their way to your wall. It wont be long before they discover the village.

The Watchshroom reports the number of reptilians he sees and what they carry.

Reptilians seem aggressive
Their kind comes from the west.
Their kingdom is large
They and the humans have has several conflicts in the past.
The raider party at the bullywug village was at least twice this size

How do you choose to respond to this group of reptilians, Sir?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9DCAFUerzs
>>
>>1444519
I really don't want to get into a war with the reptiles, so I don't want to attack first. That said, this will probably end in battle, so either we set up an ambush, or sit on the wall and talk to them. Preferably both. Maybe we could use our stealth to hide some of our people outside the village, and when they attack we crush them from both sides. We could even try talking. Not that I think it will work, but then again the humans did say something about funding the Bullywog in a proxy war against the Lizardmen.
>>
>>1444519
[Note you still have your Bronze Armor to assign.]
>>
>>1444519
Ooh boy, an scouting party most likely.

Diplomacy could be possible, but if we had to choose who we became enemies with, I'd rather stay on good side of the humans, as they are closer to us.

>>1444529
I was thinking of ambushing too, but using diplomancy at same time would be smarter.
Plus they will have very hard time of finding our shrooms from the shroom forest, as they have never seen their kind before...probally?

So our plan would be to sent 2 smaller parties outside the walls, that would circle on both sides of the Lizardmen.
Both parties would had 3 slingers and 6 spearmen.

We try with diplomancy, but if that fails we attack. Flanking parties try to avoid melee combat as long as possible and stay hidden, even when firing at lizardmen. If it looks like we can handle the lizardmen, we charge outside with full force, after a few rounds of slingers firing at enemy.

How would that sound for a plan?
>>
>>1444534
Give the frontline spearmen the armor.
And did we make bronze weapons?
>>
>>1444534
Assign that stuff to our stone Spearmen (S+)
Give the chief a set, and maybe one to Tinyshroom if we can fit it. Don't want him hurt.

We don't want to waste our unarmored, and untrained giganteShrooms in this fight.

We can have the Gigante Shrooms make a loud noise or something as a sign for the ambush
>>
The order is given. Your more trained troops are sent to lay an ambush for the reptilians should the negotiations break down. Five Spearmen and two slingers are given to each group and they make their way to some locations hidden by the tall shroom trees.

The rest of your forces wait behind your walls for the reptilians to approach.

It is a long wait... The minutes feel like hours as they take their time to make their way to within one hundred feet of your outer door and stop. The one dressed in Steel armor calls the unit to a stop.

Several of the reptilians take notice and start pointing out your wall as the Head talks to the other ,less armored reptiles. The three break away from the formation and approach your wall, leaving the others behind.

A horn is sounded. Followed by loss hissing sounds that none of your kind can understand. After a moment a different voice rings out, in the bullywug tongue. The Bulli-shroom is summoned to interpret.

"What manner of creature calls this location home? Human surely not, frog, doubtful. Whatever you may be the Empire of Yig requests audience with your leader.

You stand in the palms of a gigant and he raises you to the top of the wall, along with your bullywug villager. You recite to your villager your message which he declares to the T "People of Yig, we seek no trouble from your nation. We humbly request you withdraw from our land.

"A Mushroom man, interesting. We have no records of this land being inhabited by life. We request an audience with you. Be it, your kind is not allied with the nation of scum.

>Do you allow the three men in? Also, if so. What questions do you wish to ask and what stance do you take toward them.
>>
>>1444574
Sure, bring them in under guard. Be cautious, but not hostile. We are concerned with the fact that they are armed and a threat to the village, nothing more.
We ask them what they want and what's up with their war with the humans. Admit awareness, but indifference to humanity and the conflict. Not our war, not our territory, not our problem.
>>
>>1444574
I am not sure if I want to bring an 3 pair of eyes inside our walls, to spy on our defenses and military.

>>
>>1444600

I feel like we should check back in with the Bullywugs when this is done, figure out some sort of mutual defense and trade pacts
>>
>>1445060
This really, we have no beef with them, and they haven't got any with us either
>>
"Very well."

After a few moments the doors to your village open wide allowing the three inside. The leader, dismounts his mount before entering and leaves the beast outside the walls. The group is led underneath the watchtower, where several stumps and a table have been brought.

Your less experienced spearmen all watch on nervously as they stand guard around different buildings and huts.

"Thank you, for the chance to talk to you, Shroom man. Our visit is rather, impromptu as we were not aware any life existed within these jungles. We are here on a simple survey mission. However it is rare to meet a people who do not instantly attack us on sight."

"And why is that?'

The leaders eyes sharpen and his teeth bare for a flash, but he regains his composure in an instant and plays it off. "The human Scum. Their kind has whored their services to every nation north of the Jungle. Using puppets to keep their hands clean of another great war.

You and the leader begin a rotation of questions to each other.

First you ask about the bullywugs, and their relation to them. "Don't speak of them, their kind is as disgusting as their swine allies" He tells you there was no conflict with the bullywugs, until the start of the 'Indirect War'. Humans paid the bullywugs (Who at the time had been a much larger sea faring people) to soften the defenses of the costal cities, Before the humans invade and finish the war. . When we proved to powerful the humans failed to make good on their plan, and have since been revoked of their right as a people.

A larger population of bullywugs exists within the reptilian homeland, used as slave labor

A few more questions surface for you in regards to various topics Answer these questions in your next post along with what you plan to do next. What contact have you had with the pigdogs... What is your stance towards reptilian kind... What trade goods do you have...Do You have any items belonging to humans...

You continue with your next question. What are you and your men doing so far away from home, you live far to the west do you not?

Yes. However, reports note a massing of troops on the southern boarders of the human empire. Our unit is tasked with scouting and surveying the land for any sign of humans attempting to flank, as well as note possible routs of our own if those rats do grow the manhood to try it again.
>Would you like to continue talking or no.
>>
>>1445289
We've talked with the humans once, sort of by accident, though as a fair point you guys seem more respectful then they did. Our stance on reptilians is the same as with any other species, live and let live. We have some metals and glowflowers as interesting things, though really most things we have are available for trade. We have some salvaged stuff from a human Caravan we found destroyed, though we smelted most of it down for more resources after we studied it. Your welcome to look at the rest if your curious.
Oh, and we don't really know anything about human numbers, what we saw seemed like a fair number, some with strange metal like your Armour, but I feel as though we have different ideas of "large numbers," so we cannot help there.

"We have run into Human patrols before and came across a broken down caravan of trade goods, we killed the last defender when he threatened us and have taken the supplies for our own. We do have possession of a Human Book, though we do not know how to read it. Our own trade goods might not live up to the standards of such a vast empire, we have good access to wood, stone, and bronze. Some healing paste and gold we can trade with as well.

You have been honest with us and we shall return the favor. Our first contact was to witness a raid on the Bullywugs nearby, it was vicious and complete, shattering the village and putting them on hard times. This has made us cautious of further contact with your people but if you approach with no malice in your hearts and a willingness to trade we can do so.

Ask what you would of us and we can see how trade will work."

We found some stuff in the forest, from an ambushed caravan. Everyone was dead when we found them, a great beast attacked them. (We need to lie a bit, after all, the last guard died by being catapulted through the air into a tree.)

You answer the questions this reptilian has set forth. In a mostly honest manor. Telling them you have hardly ever had contact with the humans, and that as of now you see the Yig empire in a brighter light than before. But still wish to remain neutral.

You tell them your list of goods. They don't seem vey impressed or interested in the resources you list. However talk of the caravan perks their interest. When you offer to let them see the goods you recovered, they jump at the chance.

You lead them to a shack where you keep the things you 'found'.

The three look over the barrels This is a wondrous haul, you men are more courageous than they appear. Stealing from the humans is a crime not many people live to speak of. Then the reptilian lays his eyes on the Insignia of the Emperor. Haha! You madmen, you don't know what this is do you! A shipment of goods to be delivered to the emperor! the reptilians all three eye the insignia. The leader talks to one of the others and he dismisses himself and heads to the troupe.

Good sir. I would like to buy this insignia from you. My lord would reward me grandly for delivering this to him. It is beneficial for you as well, if this is discovered here. Simply put, your city and this jungle will be burned to the ground

The lizard man returns from the party with a sheet of... What looks like the stuff used to hold the armor together. The reptilian head of the unit takes it and a small jar of a black liquid and begins writing.

A few moments later he is finished, the sheet is full of letters in what you assume to be the reptilian language. "You may not be able to read this so allow me.

"I Deetum-Ja, hereby pledge, in exchange for goods exchanged. Pledge to pay to the order of 'Chief' the sum of 500Pieces of gold, 100 units of bronze, and every slave currently in my possession. (PGW-16-111). Furthermore, upon return to the Empire of Yig, my report of the Mushroom kingdom will hold but only praise. On this I swear upon Yig, Upon this I swear by Slibinas, that should I fail payment I be torn apart by his highness himself."

He reads you what he tells you is the contents of the page. But you have no way of knowing.

As sign of my honesty He pulls his sword from its sheeth and turns. A single swift strike severs his tail. It flails about for a few minutes as the man chokes back a pained shout.

Any of my kind may know my scent.

>>>Do you accept the agreement?

It will obliviously look bad for free bullywugs and humans.

"Also, what use gold for?"

"No concept of currency ,eh?" He gives you a crash course in the concept of money. Its uses and why it is thought of in such a way. "I am eager to return this symbol to my lord. We shall be on our way... ahh, but first. We have noticed your shrines, you have gods yes? his assistant brings forth a small 'book' similar to the others you own. Except smaller.

The leader leaves your village, leaving behind one of his men for a minute talking to you.

"This is the writ of Slibinas. High god of the Sky. By his hand we had been saved from the plague that is humanity, by his scales the spawn of which lead our empire have been born. His teeth mare powerful than swords, his wings cause nature itself to move aside. His scales stronger than steel. We recommend you read through and become acquainted with this, the god of the sky. With the reptilian scouts heading home and information previously unknown brought to light, you feel it best to get the other side of the story. Putting together a small band of 10(T) Spearmen and 5(T) Slingers, as well as the Bulli-shroom and make your way to the bullywug village.

You arrive at the boarder to the village and a croaking begins to sound. Your bulli-shroom informs you it is a call of people approaching. Guess that's us!

The village is much more lively than last time, a throng of villagers meets you as you enter the village among them the ones who originally met you last time, accompanied by a seemingly older one.

Good day, Shrooms. What brings you to our village? You are a kind people and welcomed with open arms to our home. As village elder, I would like to thank you for the supplies given before.

And you to, Elder. After several minutes of friendly talk you get down to work. Beginning asking about the society and their past and its relation to the reptilians. Not letting it slip that they met you.

The Elder brings forth a book. Our kind lives nowhere as long as those slimy barbarians. I shall read to you the words of our ancestors who lived through the time of the Massacre of the Indirect Conflict

He tells you of the past. How the bullywug (kingdom at the time) was forced by the humans to fight them, lest the humans wipe them out. He tells you they did follow the orders given by the humans. Using their Navy to attack tradeposts and towns along the boarder. They had hardly any effect on them, every attack was swept aside and the humans refused to aid in the defense of the people they forced into a war.

The empire was dissolved, only a select few towns were spared from slavery. These towns are easy targets for the Reptillian raiders who come at least twice a year.

Fuck, and my math. 45 Flowers. It's late, forgive my dumbshitness

If we know about insulation i vote
>Train all spearmen.
>Make 25 bronze spears.
>Gather insulating supplies.
If we don't change the last one to
>Expand walls.
>>
>>1447969
>Continue the talks

Mention that we are neutra to humans and lizardmen..and it could be possible that bullywugs under our protection would be left alone from raids.
Ask if they would want to start trading and ask what goods they have.

>make bronze armour for the giants, including gauntles for punching
>make 25 bronze spears and 10 armor
>support for any third option mentioned, expect walls

Lets expand the walls after the cold season, we won't have any pop growing during that time anyway..and I don't want to be catch our walls down, if we are forced to stop the expansion by cold.
>>

You make a good point, i change my last vote to
>Make bronze armor for giants.
How much will this cost Crab?
>>
>>1448058
No, this is Drachtma. Crab's asleep.

His talk is normally in square brackets.

The giant shrooms are more than twice as tall and twice as thicc. So probably 10 Bronze each. This WILL cover gauntlets.
>>
>>1448055
Supporting this, as for the last option fill it out with >>1448037 gathering things for insulation.
>>
Can't we just conquer the bullywugs?
>>
After these talks of the past conclude you begin looking toward the future. You begin talking of an alliance, a defensive pact. You make your case and preach the ideas that you have been thinking.

Mutual defense, Free exchange of trade goods, a deeper friendship between the two peoples. However half way through your case the elder stops you. "These are nice thoughts you have, Chief. But as you know, we hardly know you. Your kind are all but a mystery to us. Not to mention the results of the last so called 'alliance' we had been it. You must understand our skepticism about your motives to ally with a people as small as ours.

"Think of all the things our people can do, united against any invaders"

"I'm going to need to stop you there. You may have an OK force, these Men with you all seem well trained. But it's useless. Against the Reptilians or humans? The best you can do is hope they like you. Allying with a vassal of the Reptilians against them, that is asking for extinction, friend"

But, we could...

It's a nice thought, but we just don't know you well enough to stick our necks out AGAIN... Unless you have other business, we ask you drop this subject, as this talk is ruining the mood.
>>
Your peoples caps wilt in disappointment...

"That's not to say, however. We are open to a trade route. Though we are not entirely aware where your people live. We can give you a list of resources that haven't been taken by the Lizards.

>Shell Armor ( + )
>Healing Seaweed (Effect to shrooms:Unknown)
>Pearls
>Fish

These are the basics they allow us to keep. If it please you, make an offer.
>>
With so many larger groups around your people you have the Shrooms working the smelter create more equipment. You think about the possibility of Shrooms focusing on that as their job instead of being general workers.

At your request the smaller shroom also takes the giants up to the mine to be outfitted for armor.

Eventually the giants return in suits of bronze with a cart of spears for all of your stone wielding Spearshrooms. Even the small shroom has a few bands of bronze covering limbs.

When you ask him about all he says is "I just found some scraps layin around Sir."

>+25 Bronze Spears
>+2 Giant Shroom Armor
>-45 Bronze Bars

The cold is coming early, that just means you need to prepare earlier. The warming cave is hard work to expand, so you focus on the huts instead.

Foraging groups are sent out in search of leaves, vines, and whatever else they find warm.

Soon enough they begin making a pile by village's entrance that is then used to stuff cracks in the huts.

You could
>>
>>1448921
>Trade 5 glowflowers for 5 healing Seaweed.
This is mostly for experimentation
>Continue Insulating the Huts
>Pray to Shrom/Organize a hunt for U-so?
We need to Pray every few turns, and if its getting colder we might be able to stall for time with a good sacrifice.
>Train Slingers (T)
This is assuming the Trade is a free action.
>>
>>1448921
>Train all spearshroorms.
>Continue insulating the huts.
>>
>>1448935

This looks good to me

The cold is getting slowly worse, not that you can tell inside thanks to the hard work of your Shrooms.

They've gotten enough plants and leaves that you are sure the insides will be safe during the cold times for those with Flowerbraclets or another source of warmth.

You receive additional word that Shrooms have been insulating the Smelter too. Perhaps the Scientist could stay there during the cold instead of returning.

>Village and Smelter are now safe from all, but the worst of the cold.

----

You lead a small group with Shroom-Wug back to the Bullywug's soon enough with a handful of Glowflowers. Their elder is holding what looks to be dripping wet vines.

The two of you exchange and he seems caught off guard by the glowflowers. Shroom-Wug translates "This is... warm. If we had enough of these we may not need to stay dormant during the winter."

The Elder hands the glowflowers off to his people before continuing "Thank you for this trade, but hopefully you don't need that seaweed."

As you leave the healing seaweed is passed around. From the name you suspect it may have properties like the glowflower paste, but you can't be sure.

>+5 Healing Seaweed
>-5 Glowflower

----

The gods have helped before with the cold, so you go to the dual shrine. Both your head priest are discussing, but stop and bow as you draw close.

It is the older of the two, the priest of U-So, that speaks up "Chief, we have good news. U-So has given me visions of his light shining upon us for the winter."

Shrom's priest then speaks up "And Shrom has said she will will keep the winds away."

Well that is reassuring. You help your priests gather the villagers for a prayer in thanks.

About trading, we should get some pearls for next time the moleman come to visit us, so we know if they are valuable trade goods.

We don't have much use for shell armor neither fishes, but it would be interesting to put an truffel in fish body and see if we gain anything.

>Trade 5 bronze bars to 10 pearls, 5 if they disagree with first offer. Although metal for weapons should be far more valuable than some shiny things from sea.
>Request that bullywugs fish/hunt the biggest creature from sea, that they can find and bring that to us after the cold season. We pay in bronze or Glowflowers.

Any other trade ideas, so we don't waste every other turn going trading for tiny amounts of stuff? We can do the trade, turn after this one, if this gets support.

This turns votes:
>Hunt for blood and interesting creatures. Blood to be stored away for later use as a medicine, and maybe study wild life we find
>Scout along the coast/forest towards NorthEast
>Train spearhshrooms, focus on (T)

Say..did we ever upgrade our miners/woodcutters tools from stone to bronze?
>>
>>1450947
[Your Picks have been upgraded to Bronze and you no longer need to actually spend time making them unless you wish to use them for military or an event says otherwise.]
>>
>>1450614
>Trains Spearshrooms (T)
>Study Healing Seaweed
>Scout northeast
Ok, I admit I stole this idea from >>1450947.
Dude seems to know what he's doing, I just disagree on going on a hunt. We've lost people and morale the other times we've done it, and I am concerned about doing one so close to winter
>>
Zoinks crab, things are looking bretty ded in here.

F shroom civ. Unless those lurkers decide to cut that lurking shit out

They know who I mean
>>
>>1452259
People might not know/see that the thread is still aliveIsh
>>
>>1451051
Gonna support this, we don't need to hunt for now I think
>>
Oh yeah weren't we doing something along the lines of blood research a while back? also training, and studying the seaweed is a good idea. as well as throwing a truffle into a fish-body of sorts. experimenting with truffles! lol I think harvesting glowflowers to make more healing paste would also be a good idea so we can use it in battles perhaps.
>>
>>1453454
Ofc, lets talk to priest about the glow shrooms next turn, but remember that we can't just simply harvest em, like wood or Shroomie gets angry.

I suggested hunting and scouting cause it is not that cold yet, we should save research for colder months.

Btw thread is not bumping so perhaps new thread next time you guys run.
