Running from my phone for a while, expect delays and slowness for a bit and then a break when I drive home. But hey I'm running!
>Fate Point: 2
>Money: $565
>Equipment Carried: Tier 2 Assault Rifle. Tier 2 Armor. Tier 1 Pistol. Tier 2 Rucksack. Tier 1 Med-kit. Tier 2 Med-kit. Tier 1 Toolkit

Your name is Will and currently you are dressed up in a “Tuxedo” which you find mildly uncomfortable. It doesn’t help that Koko made you get a new holster to put on your shoulder and stick your pistol against your side. It also doesn’t help that you’re crammed into an elevator with seven other people. Well, crammed might not be the right word to use given that it’s a rather large elevator. You think, it’s only really the second elevator you’ve been in.

Still, the entirety of MMS along with Koko is in the elevator. Everyone is also dressed up in their new outfits. Koko had also given the girls shiny things to wear and new shoes so they were “dressed to the nines.” You only count seven girls plus you, so you aren’t sure where the number nine comes in but they all look nice.
>>
>>1384496
Mary and Morrigan are both wearing their black dresses, Mary with a long dangly necklace and Morrigan with some silvery bracelets. Cath has another long necklace, this time in gold to go with her red dress. Sarah is in her blue with more silver and white shiny things, with Bellona and Nem in white with more gold. Koko herself is in black, which is a change from her normal white suit.

Bellona and Mary both have tall pointy shoes, as does Koko. You can’t see what Nem is wearing, but Cath and Sarah both have smaller and less pointy shoes on. Morrigan is wearing nice looking shoes, but they’re flat like normal. Everyone is also wearing dangly things on their ears.

When asked again, you agreed that they all looked good, even Morrigan.

The plan for the night was relatively simple. Koko had her people doing things around the building the party was in and the nearby area. MMS was supposed to pair off and watch her for the night, as well as deal with any other issues that might arise during the party. There wasn’t supposed to be any issues, but there might be.

Who did you get paired off with?

Hello all, glad to be running.

Currently writing in a roundabout manner but we'll get it done.

Looks like Will is paired off with Koko for the night. Writing!

Hello Guide glad you started this once I got home and not during my classes
>>

>>1384498

You got paired off with Koko at the meeting, something about looking the part better than everyone else. You’re not sure why you’re a better for it, but everyone agreed and you didn’t have any reason to argue. Not that you really would as you don’t argue in the first place.

You glance over at Koko, who is pretty much at eye level with you with her shoes on. She shoots you a smile, one that is actually a smile before adjusting her dress one more time as the elevator begins to slow down and then the doors open in front of you. You blink, surprised by the noise and light that comes through.

If you thought the hotel was ostentatious, you learned that you were wrong before. Everything is covered in expensive looking stuff, three large lights with all the dangly bits are overhead and there are a lot of people dressed up. On one side of the room is a bar like Doc’s, the other side has some tables and everywhere in the middle are people talking and a few dancing. There are a number of people all dressed the same or similar, you were told those people are the servers and to not bug them too much, but watch if they did something funny. Everyone else you were supposed to be polite with and follow Koko’s lead.

As the door finished opening Koko grabs your arm and pulls it close to her, making you go with her as she heads towards the middle of the room.

“Come on Will,” she says with a smile, one that you think is only partially real, “The fun isn’t going to start until later.”

You nod, following her as she…

Koko heads towards an older man with glasses on, letting go of your arm after you get into the crowd. You keep an eye out, but most of the people don’t look like they could even conceal weapons, much less use them. The man with glasses notices you coming, turning towards you with a slightly surprised look on his face.

“Mr. Black,” says Koko with a tilt of her head, one of her fake smiles on her face.

“Koko,” he says, “I’m surprised to see you here.”

“I’m sure,” she says, her head tilting sideways, “It’s been quite a while.”

“It has. Last I heard you were on the frontier somewhere. It’s a dangerous place out there and I’d feared the worst.”

“As you can see I’m perfectly healthy,” she says.

“Where’s your team?” he asks, taking a look at you, “I don’t remember him.”

“He’s one I picked up on the frontier,” she says, grabbing your arm, “Along with a few more.”

“I see,” he says, looking you up and down before turning back towards Koko. “I don’t suppose you’ll tell me what you’re doing in town?”

“Chasing a deal,” Koko says, an even faker smile coming onto her face, “It could be quite lucrative.”

“Hmm,” says the man, pushing his glasses up onto his nose, “Well I know how tight you are with your deals so I won’t press any further. Still, I’m sure you know how to get in contact with me if something mutually beneficial comes down the way.”

“Of course,” says Koko with a smile, “I’ll let you know.”

The man nods once more then heads off towards the tables full of food.

Koko watches him for a bit and turns her head towards you.

“Mr. Black isn’t our friend,” she says, “But he’s not our enemy either. Keep an eye out for him later.”

You nod, not quite sure what Koko is talking about but making note to keep an eye out for the man.

From there Koko moves about the room, stopping to talk with a few people, but talking about nothing important as far as you can tell. She mostly asks questions, lots about the north and how things are doing in the capitol, wherever that is. Things are troubled all over according to what you hear.

A little while later as you mange to spot someone that stands out of the crowd. The woman is a bit taller than most with brown hair and a rather severe looking face. You think she’s looking at you and Koko, but you aren’t sure and Koko seems to be rather involved in her current conversation.

As you watch the lady you don’t see any immediate threat from her, so you decide not to tell Koko right away. Instead you decide to keep an eye on her. Thankfully between your years learning how to pay attention and the lessons that MMS has given you, you still know where the woman is by the time Koko finishes up her conversation.
She turns to you, looking slightly surprised as you take her hand and stop her.
“What is it Will?” she says, fake smile on her face.
“There’s a lady watching you,” you say, nodding towards where the lady is. You’re pretty sure she’s seen you looking, but you aren’t sure she has noticed anything else.
Koko keeps her fake smile on, grabbing you by the arm and then leading you towards the bar.
“Will,” she says, “Keep an eye on her without looking directly at her if you can and see if she follows us.”
You nod, slightly confused at the order but you manage to follow it. As Koko leads you, the ladies height and the way she keeps looking in you direction lets you watch her out of the corner of her eye until Koko leans up against the bar, drawing your head towards her with a pat.
“Now what was she doing?” Koko asks you even as she waves at one of the servers behind the bar.
“She was watching you,” you say, “And she talked to somebody for a minute.”
“Hmm,” says Koko, even as two drinks are brought over and she sets one in front of you. The glass is tall and thin, with a bubbly pale yellow stuff inside. She swirls it and then takes a sip, but you can tell it wasn’t a very big one.
“Who was the person she talked to?” she asks you.
“A man, big,” you say to her.
“Did you see any weapons?”
“No.”
“You wouldn’t have, she’s too good for that.” Koko pauses, then reaches into her pocket and pulls out a small device and presses a button on it, causing it to vibrate once.
“Come on Will,” she says, grabbing your arm and leading you towards the middle of the room once more, “Lets dance.”
You almost tell her how bad you are at dancing, but she still has one of her smiles on her. You aren’t sure if you’re actually going to dance or not.

I'll probably run some Saturday, possibly some tomorrow but no promises.

Ya know, I wouldn't be averse to a soft-reboot of HPQ. Use the same universe and setting, but with different characters and slightly different mechanics. I think one of the main reasons it was dropped was because of power creep and nothing to use it on.

There was also the gigantic harem which, although filled with many best girls, was pretty difficult to manage.

Not to say I don't miss it, though. I actually got into a couple series because I liked the girls so much.
>>
>>1386519
I greatly enjoyed it but I read an idea for a Sekirei quest in there as well. I think it has enough plot to keep the story going and enough danger (when players decide to waifu Karasuba) to stay interesting

>>
>>1387163
Nah we just play as a guard until we can convince Karasuba to give us a shot (HAHAHAHA). Not expecting to be a superhero either just competent eventually. No I win button either we don't want to just be given Karasuba. Where's the fun in that?

Sekirei are by definition your Waifus. You'd not be getting Karasuba without at least one more.

As you reach the dance floor Koko turns to you and moves your hands to her waist. You keep them there like Bellona told you, even as her arms wrap around your neck. Neither of you attempt to do the fancy dance moves, Koko seems rather pleased that all you do is rock back and forth in a circle.

“Alright Will,” she says, glancing over your shoulder at the lady who was following you, “This is where the fun starts for the night.”

You nod, letting your eyes wander over to the woman as you spin before going back to Koko’s eyes.

“Unfortunately we have to get away from here without her following us and I don’t think she’s going to make it that easy for us.”

You nod again.

“So there’s a few ways we can get out of here. One’s the fun way, the other is a bit more practical, if boring. Then again we could just leave and see what she does, but we’d probably get followed.”

“What do we do?” you ask her.

“Hmm…” she says, wrapping her arms around you a little closer as you spin around, “I don’t know Will, why don’t you decide for us?”

You open your mouth and then stop, Koko’s strangely intense eyes on you.

“Good boy,” she says with a real grin, “You can learn. So, what are we going to do? Have some fun or be boring and practical?”

>Do it the “fun” way, whatever that is.

Despite how Koko told you that you could do it either way, you can see what she wants to do in her eyes and the smile. You think it almost qualifies as a “smirk” but you aren’t positive, you haven’t had much time to decide. Koko is the boss and she’s pretty smart, so doing it the fun way might not be too bad.

“Do it the fun way,” you say to her.

Koko seems almost taken aback at first, but then her smile widens.

“Oh Will I didn’t know you’d be so forward,” she says, her eyes sparkling.

You blink, confused as to what she means but she only grins.

“It’s fine Will, just leave everything to me and smile.”

You just nod, attempting to put a smile on your face as she pulls you even closer. Her eyes match yours until you spin around one more time, then they go to the side, her hands rising to your head and keeping it straight. You try to watch through the corner of your eye, but Koko keeps going until you feel her breath on your ear. You think she’s probably looking at the lady once more, but then you get another surprise as Koko bites your ear. It’s not a hard bite, but it’s still a surprise. Then you feel her pull back, her hand trailing down your cheek as she turns slightly and presses against you until she takes your hand.

Tugging on you with that same smirk she leads you towards the elevator, stopping to grab a key from the girl she was talking to earlier and then pressing the button. The whole time you are rather confused as she stays pressed tightly against you, holding your hand to her hip.

As the door opens she pulls you inside, hitting the buttons for another floor and to close the door. As it starts to close, she wraps her arms around your neck again and pulls your face close, her eyes closing until the door dings shut.

Then she stops, though she doesn’t let you go and her eyes open.

“Having fun yet Will?” she asks you.

“Uhm…” you say, thoroughly confused as to what just happened.

Koko smirks at you again, though you think it’s somehow softer than before.

“It’s fine if you don’t know,” she says, patting you on the cheek and pulling away from you, “You let me have my fun and you can figure it out later, right now we’ve got some work to do.” She reaches into your jacket and pulls out your gun and checks it before handing it back to you. “We’re probably going to have visitors, so keep this ready.”

You nod, taking your gun as Koko cozy’s up to your arm with a smile on her face. The elevator takes a little longer, but when the door opens Koko starts giggling, leading you down the hall while letting you keep your gun hand clear. You don’t know where you’re going but Koko apparently does. She stops at a door, opening it up with the key and leading you inside. It looks like a normal hotel room as far as you can tell, but you’ve not been in too many.

Koko makes a beeline for the closet as the door shuts behind you with a heavy thud. Opening the closet finds what amounts to a small armory, several sets of heavy body armor and some very nice looking assault rifles. Koko grabs the armor and hands it to you.
“Put it on, don’t want to get surprised,” she says, almost all business now.

You nod, donning the armor as she puts on a lighter set, then hands you one of the rifles. You check it automatically, noting that the rounds inside are brand new and look to be designed for penetration.

“Trap is set,” she says as you ready the rifle, “Now to wait for them to stumble into it.”

She gestures towards the door.

“If you wouldn’t mind getting ready for our guests.”

Alright I'm home, it'll be about half an hour or so as I have to get settled in.

Looks like this will be a bit rough for Will. Also going behind the wall.

Like Will said it's our first time shooting in a hotel so it's normal to be a little rough on his first time.

You place yourself behind the wall that leads into the room, giving you the most cover while also keeping you between Koko and anyone who comes through. Koko nods, ducking down behind the far bed, covered by as much as she can be. You don’t think that she’s going to do much, but then she starts making funny noises and occasionally kicking the bed. You find yourself a bit distracted, at least for a moment. When it continues you start to not pay attention, focusing on the door again.
A short time later Koko stops and you hear a sound outside the door. A couple more clicks and then it opens slowly. You ready your rifle, staying hidden behind the wall for as long as possible until the door opens further, someone dressed in dark colors and wearing a vest peering around the corner.
You duck around, rifle barking as you put several bursts into the man. He goes down, but pushes the door open and allows the other three behind him to push into the room, guns raised. One fires, the pistol round impacting against your chest. You grunt, feeling the pain even as one of them closes in.
>Keep firing with your rifle.
>Counter close the distance, get too close for them to shoot.

Even as the man closes in you keep your cool. Morrigan and Nem had emphasized that you should never lose your primary weapon and made sure that you had trained with it in close quarters. Not a lot admittedly, but enough that you don’t freak out as he closes.

With the distance so close you don’t try to move, you just keep pulling the trigger. A second attacker drops as your rounds pierce his armor with no issue. The one not charging you continues to shoot, but he either misses or it hits your armor, you might feel a few impacts but you’re too distracted by the guy about to stab your face.

The knife comes in low, you managed to deflect it with your arm, the knife grazing by you with centimeters to spare. As the man tries to recover you slam your forehead into his nose, causing it to crunch as he flails backwards. The other man is in the middle of reloading as you raise your rifle again and you put two bursts into him.

The final man attempts to raise his pistol, you’re quicker and put a burst through him as well. Pausing for a split second you don’t see any of the men moving, but you’ve been taught not to trust that. You put a round in each of their heads, causing a mess but making sure they’re down.

Another few seconds tick by before your adrenaline comes down and the aches start to hit you. You got shot a number of times, but your vest managed to take all of them. You reload automatically, drawing another magazine from the pocket of your vest. By now most of the ringing has gone and you carefully peer out around the corner of the door, not seeing anyone at all, much less ready to kill you.

Ducking back inside the door you find Koko standing once more, the smile back on her face.
“Good job Will,” she says, already stripping the vest off, “I didn’t think she’d send four after us but you managed to take them all down.”

You nod, feeling the pain of the gunshots in your chest even more.

“Come on,” says Koko, gesturing towards your gear, “Lets get rid of that and get out of here, we don’t need anyone to find us.”

You nod again, letting Koko help you out of your armor and toss it to the ground. You note three impacts in the chest as you leave. Koko takes you to a different part of the hotel and a different room, which opens to reveal another room just like the last except missing four dead bodies.

“How are you doing Will?” she asks you.

Truthfully your chest hurts quite a bit, but you’ve been hurt worse before. You stretch once, seeing if anything bad happens but aside from some aching you don’t feel anything that will stop you.

“I’m ok,” you say to her.

Koko gives you a look, but then nods.

“Alright Will,” she says, nodding towards the door to the bathroom, “Got take a shower and get cleaned up, there’s one more big thing we need to do tonight, but it’s not for an hour or so.”

You nod, heading into the bathroom and closing the door behind you. Taking your clothes off with a bit of difficulty, you find that you’re still pretty covered with blood. You finally manage, moving to the shower and turning it on. You find that the shower has plenty of hot water , allowing you to step in and have a nice warm wash down.

In the middle of washing your hair, you hear the door open, causing you to pause.

“Hello?” you say, unsure as to what’s going on.

“Hey Will,” you here Koko say, “Want me to wash your back?”

Physically, no. Mentally? It's still /ss/, and probably more traumatizing for Will than it would be with an actual child. Remember, so far we've been playing Will pretty straight with regards to trauma, and /ss/ is still child abuse irl.

A sexual encounter this early in his recovery could make or break him.

Your name is William and you are currently taking a shower. One that was rather necessary considering you had assorted bits of brain, blood and a few pieces of bones from four men you’d killed earlier. They were trying to kill you and Koko, so you aren’t really concerned about it. Mary and Morrigan told you sometimes it’s bad to kill people, but you’re pretty sure that hasn’t happened to you.

Oh and Koko just asked you if you wanted her to wash your back. Baths and showers are still a relatively new thing for you, especially the ones with hot water. You’ve gotten more and more used to it as time goes on, but getting your back washed is still a very new thing. Cath washed your back on the train and you washed Bellona but only the one time. You know Koko, but not as well as everyone in MMS.

For one you’d have to let her see you naked, which Mary said you had to tell them was ok. She talked about other stuff too, but you’re still not sure you get when you can see people naked or when they can see you naked. You might also see her naked, which you would have to ask about too….

“Will~” you hear Koko say again, “What do you say?”

Any thoughts on how things have been going lately? Not enough fights? Too much weirdness? Needs more XYZ?
>>
>>1394637
Been going good. needs more Marry time.
>>
>>1394637
Is good. Morrigan is always needed in vast quantities.
>>
>>1394637
More fights might be nice, but that may be more due to time between threads than in-thread pacing. I kinda miss the fort, but it'll be a while before we can go back. Otherwise, no problems.
>>
>>1394637
I think it could use a bit more action but it's not really a problem or nothin
>>
>>1394637
Needs more cute girls doing cute things, though that's more due to the largish cast we have meaning that the SoL is unevenly distributed among the characters at times. I can't remember when the last time we hung with Nem was.
>>
>>1394637
it's plenty good. If anything, maybe some more opportunities for Will to learn about how different a city is like while he is there.
>>
>>1394637
I would say that its been a little light on action, but the nature of this arc isn't really focused on action so its fine.
>>
>>1394637
Pacing seems a little slow for a mission, but still enjoyable.

You give it another thought as you stand underneath the warm spray of water. While Koko isn’t as much of a known quantity as MMS, she’s still a rather well known quantity for you in particular given that you don’t know all that many people. Plus she’s currently paying for your trip, the rooms (you think) and she gave you a very nice gun and armor to use when you were about to get into a fight.

“Sure,” you say, “But I’m almost done.”

“That’s fine!” she says. You hear the sound of clothes being taken off, even as water continues to flow over your body. You shrug, going back to cleaning your front as Koko finishes undressing. Apparently people washing backs is a bigger deal than you thought with so many people asking to wash with you.

Koko finally finishes undressing and you hear the curtain open behind you. A quick look behind you and you can see that Koko is naked. You immediately turn back around and close your eyes, following Mary’s directions even as you feel Koko’s hands on your back.

“Oh, not going to sneak a look at me Will?” she asks you.

“Mary said I’m not supposed to look at girls if they’re naked,” you tell her, “unless they say it’s ok.”

“Oh she did, did she?” Koko says, even as you feel her hands starting to scrub your back, “You’re a good boy for listening to her then.”

You don’t say anything, just letting Koko do what she needs to do with your back. It doesn’t take too much longer, as you really were almost done washing yourself.

“There, all done,” she says, pushing you forward into the water, where you rinse off.

You finish rinsing and move to get out of the shower until you feel Koko’s hand on your shoulder.

“Hey Will,” Koko says, her voice pitched differently than normal, “Do you want to see me naked?”

“Uh… why?” you ask, rather confused.

“Oh, no reason,” Koko asks, her voice going back to normal, “I was just curious about something.”

“Ok,” you say, “Can I go?”

“Will you wash my back?” she asks.

“Yes,” you say, “But I’m not supposed to see you naked unless you say it’s ok.”

“I think in this case it’s ok Will,” she says as you feel the washcloth hit your shoulder, “Since you didn’t ask for it.”

You blink, rather confused at her statement. You didn’t want to so it’s ok?

Still, you hear Koko turn around in the shower so you do as well. From the back Koko looks a lot like Bellona, but you can tell they’re different. You sort’ve wonder why that is, but it’s a minor question and you quickly get to work cleaning her back. Koko doesn’t flinch like Bellona did, but otherwise it’s much the same. Once you finish with her back you hand her the washcloth and she takes it with a smile.

“Thanks Will,” she says, “Go get dressed and let me finish, then we’ll do the last thing we need to tonight.”

“Ok,” you say as you step out of the shower.

There you find another tuxedo much the same as your original one. You manage to get it on by the time Koko comes out, again dressed in all white.

“Ready Will?” she asks.

You nod, having secured your pistol in your holster once more.

“Alright, lets go then,” she says, coming over to straighten out your collar, “We’ve got something to sell, so just follow my lead and don’t shoot anyone until I say ok?”

“Ok,” you say to her. You’re not sure why you’d need to shoot someone if you’re selling them stuff, but then again you don’t follow most of Koko’s plans anyway.

Koko smiles and leads you out of the room towards the elevator. She doesn’t talk this time, instead settling into her selling face. This time the elevator goes down, all the way down as far as you can tell.
>>
>>1395795
The door opens into an enclosed room, filled with a number of people. You recognize a few of Koko’s group, who give you a small nod as you exit. Koko simply walks towards the other group of men who you don’t recognize.

“I thought you were going to be late,” says the apparent leader, the one standing in front of the others.

“There was an unavoidable delay on my part, but I keep to my promises,” says Koko, a fake smile plastered on her face.

“I certainly hope so,” he says, “You’ve promised us a lot, but you also asked for a lot of money… my bosses expect results.”

“They will have them,” says Koko, gesturing to her people.

They come forward with several crates, opening the tops of them and revealing dozens of the rifles you just used, sets of body armor and grenades.

“What you paid for is all here,” says Koko, “One thousand sets plus ammo.”

“Very good,” says the man, looking down into the crate before snapping his fingers, causing another of the men to step forward and open a large briefcase. Inside is money, stacks of dollars that you can’t even begin to count.

Koko smiles more, looking over the bills and giving the man a nod. As she steps forward to take the case, suddenly most of the other men draw their weapons, pistols and submachine guns pointing all around.

Koko stands stock still in the middle of it all, still holding the case.

You’ve got maybe a second to react if you want to, before too many guns are pointed at things and people you’re not supposed to get hurt.

>Don’t react, Koko said to wait for her signal and she’s not moving.

You don’t react as you count at least three barrels pointed at you by the time you finish thinking. Koko hasn’t reacted either, meaning that she probably has a plan. You hope so at least, you’ve got nothing.

“You’ll excuse me if I take this back,” says the leader, taking the money from Koko, his men still pointing their guns at everyone.

“I take it that you are not satisfied with the product?” says Koko, still asking as if it was all business.

“No, we’re very satisfied with it,” says the man, “Which is the issue.”

Now you’re really confused. They like it but they don’t?

“We want more of it, all that you can deliver.”

“I already informed you that...”

The man smacks Koko across the face, causing her stumble a bit.

“I know, which is why we’re renegotiating the deal until you find some more. Grab them all, we’ll keep her crew as collateral for later.”

You’re surprised once again as you are seized by two men along with everyone else, you and Koko being tossed into the back of a truck as the crates are loaded inside. With your hands tied behind your back by rough rope and no hope in sight, you wonder why Koko is smiling as you start driving away.
