It is the 41st Century, space shuttles that can bend the reality of space and time are no longer a science-fiction dream but reality. However, life on the Last Frontier is threatened.

The United Intergalatic Senate has lost control of their citizens, capitalism and vigilante justice controlled The Last Frontier for thousands of years until three mega-corporations struggle for economic and total control. The Galactic Senate, however, directly profits from the civil war between the three factions.

The Solarflare Republic.

The Daemon Regime.

Remulus United.

These corporations now ceased fire, however, tensions are high. We have entered the 100 Year Cold War.


Daemon Regime has aims to create the perfect super soldier. The closet they have so far is a slave military name Daemons. Daemons, named after the corporation they work for, are slaves made from a variety of different races captured by unknown patrons of the corporation. Daemons are usually the offspring of Prisoners of War but also can be volunteered (indentured) into the regime. They're bred from birth to be obedient, loyal, and deadly. They are kept in line with a Neuron Chip, a generic term for the thousands of microscopic machinery floating in the brain of a Daemon. This Neuron Chip controls both the reward and pain sections of the brain. If a Daemon steps out of line, the Neuron Chip can terminate the Daemon indiscriminately.

Daemons, when traveling through time and space, are kept in Hydro-Hallucinstasis Pods. It simulates a real, normal life in the twenty-first century. Daemons long for a life of freedom, but they know nothing of the real life outside of combat.

The Echelon, a Daemon Carrier Ship, has gone radio silent. A system failure has caused the ship to stop mid-space, life support for the entire ship is failing.

Daemon 1995, also known as Bastet, and Daemon 1241 are forced to fight for lives in the Administrator's Office as they are swarmed by a new enemy type... the IMPURE.

Are you ready for the lawsuit from Atlus? 1241 and Bastet charged onto the pile of IMPURES to cut, stomp, smash, and trample whatever was in reach.

The IMPURE's heads all systematically and simultaneously explode as if they've taken a slug in the forehead.

There's rotten blood all over Bastet's pipe and 1241's scalpel. Both of them have rotten greeb and red sludge staining their clothes. 1241 is horrified by the deaths.

"Their Neuron Chip..." 1241 gasped. "They went off. Someone is still controlling our chips in this ship..."

Up ahead, past the smokey darkness, a door opens. A bright screen illuminates a figure sitting in a chair. The avatar has a board connected next to him, IOTA9000--The Ship's AI.

"PRIVATE. DOCTOR." The avatar called. "ENTER."

1241 looked to Bastet and Bastet nodded, they walk forward and entered the bright room. The avatar turns in his chair and instantly 1241 looked sick, Bastet didn't know who this... thing is or why he's dressed so importantly.... on his face is an FTL-Cable attached to the side of his left eye-socket. Various wires and sparks of different colored plasma shoots across his one red eye. The important looking man's face is half burnt to a crisp, it's still red and looks like raw burger meat after it's been tenderized. Although the right side of his face is burned to a char, his body is pale and snake-like. He has no nose, and if he did, then it looked like it was violently ripped off. A Voldemort looking spaceman he was.

"IS THIS HOW YOU ENTER MY OFFICE, MARINE? DOCTOR?" The Avatar looked to 1241. "WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS? YOU HAVE FORCED ME TO SECTION 12 FOUR OF THE BEST DAMN MASTER AT ARMS ON THIS SHIP BECAUSE YOU AND YOUR MARINE HAS SINGLEHANDEDLY BROUGHT JUDGEMENT DAY TO THIS FUCKING SHIP."

"Sir I-"

"I WORK FOR A LIVING, YOU CHEEKY CATTY FUCK," The irate avatar slammed his hand onto his Supercomputer. "HAVE YOU NEVER HEARD THE YEOMEN OF THE SHIP SINCE YOU WERE STILL IN THAT FUCKING TUBE YOU SHIT VAT-GROWN PARASITE?"

"He yells a lot," Bastet whispered as he yelled obscenities at Bastet - she's trying to distract herself from getting her feelings hurt at the mean words. "Who is this lad?"

"Chief Burnside, he goes by Burns. He's only this fecking angry because of all that quantum energy IOTA9000 is feeding his head to match the brainpower of a Supercomputer." 1241 answers. "He's a Grayman and only they have the cognitive power to do it. I was five when the Regime tried to have species connect to the S.C... let's just say that it took a while to clean up the brains."

"Grayman..." Bastet never heard of them before. "Sub-set of humans?"

"Not even close," 1241 shook his head, "They come from the area where 3C 273 is, a Quasar."

"SINCE YOU INTERRUPTED ME WITH YOUR STUPID QUESTION THAT I MUST ANSWER--THE ESCAPE PODS ON CARRIERS LIKE THE ECHELON DON'T WORK LIKE YOU THINK. THEY ARE MEANT TO BE CONTROLLED ON AUTO-PILOT AND HEAD STRAIGHT TO THE NEAREST EMERGENCY POD RECEIVER - MEANING THAT THERE IS NOT FUCKING CONTROLS INSIDE OR OUTSIDE THE POD. IT'S MEANT FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE INJURED TO GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE SHIP AND CAN'T. The humiliating insults at the two continue for a minute. Feels bad man.

"Chief, how do we survive this?" 1241 asked cautiously.

"OH, THAT'S FUCKING EASY - LET ME UNWRAP MY GOD DAMN CRYSTAL BALL AND READ YOUR FUCKING FORTUNE. IF YOU DON'T WANT ME TO DETONATE THOSE FUCKING ROBOTS IN YOUR HEAD RIGHT FUCKING NOW, YOU'RE GOING TO GET THOSE SPACESUITS IN ONE HOUR - BYE BYE BRAIN," Chief Burns spat venomously.

Bastet was busy trying to view this map that's been downloaded into her brain. She finds the map and is appalled by how little information in
the map the Chief is willing to give them. Either all of the ship is off limited due to quarantined or classified. The only thing on the map is objective markers and ways to get there fast.

"IF YOU GET STUCK, CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY,"

The radio looks like a 20 Century phone but without a screen. The buttons are holographic and this only movement of the fingers are necessary.

They can only contact Chief Burns, there's also a limited battery on it!

1241 cannot carry any more space! He discards CHEWING WIRES. He is slightly more anxious as a result.

Escaping via Pods are impossible without the FTL COMMUNICATIONS Satellite to receive and send beacons. Now Bastet and 1241 are going to have to grab a pair of EVO suits from the ARMORY.

"Friends are back!" Steve is waiting for them to come back, again scaring them. His tail is wagging fiercely. "How are friends? I recognize you because you smell like friends and I like friends!"

"That's... good..." Bastet once again felt 1241 hiding behind her.

"I did not know how long you've been gone because I have no conception of time, but you came back!" Steve woofed happily. "Woof!"

"Well, we gotta go agian..."

"Steve is not happy," He whines. "Promise friends will come back."

It's a OXYGEN MASK COMPONENT for EVO SUITS with a spare filter next to it. It seems to be the same kind of mask used in the Hydro-Hallucinstasis Pods.

Behind Bastet is a shelf There's a spray bottle up above. The spray bottle on the highest shelf is great value DECK CLEANER, she recognized it from the time she had to clean the barracks during Basic Combat Training of her own blood after disrespecting the Drill Sargent.

It's just out of her reach.

Wait what?

The half-bodied mother threw the infant at Bastet. Bastet fell over in surprise and promptly dropped her PIPE. The infant gnashed at Baset's throat their infantile hands and claws. A very sudden bout of numbness covered her body, static filled her brain, Bastet... or whatever... took the SNAPPED ANCIENT KEY and proceeded to stab the adversary in the right eye over and over and over again. She keyed his skull over and over, until the SNAPPED ANCIENT KEY was stuck in the infant's skull. It's not that it would've been helpful.

The half-bodied mother screeched with in horror and clawed the metal floor to get to Bastet. Bastet punted the mother in the face and ABSCONDED from the room, closing the door. It's not gonna lock, but the mother won't reach the doorknob any time soon.

"Bas', what the devil happened?! why are you covered in that pink-stuff?" 1241 rushed over to check up on Bastet.

"The Syringe? It looks like stolen C-U192, Reaper's Den it's called on the black market. It's a drug that acts like cocaine but without the drawbacks, I've used it a lot when I was on Earth. "The pills are sleeping pills, some of of them are amphetamines, and a couple are food pills. All of them are branded by Remulus United."

"What?" Bastet peered over him because he's short and looked at the door and the panel.

I'm not too familiar with morse code other than for between the two puzzles it's kind of similar to binary in having a more complex language put into simpler or cruder steps.

"We'll worry about that later, let's get the EVO Suits and get that Satellite fixed before he splats us," 1241 suggests.

The door opens and there's a lot to see. Currently, you are looking in the entrance way of the ARMORY. The ARMORY is as big as the MEDICAL WARD and thus more subrooms exist inside. Weapon Racks and Lockers line the walls, there's a poster with a scarred looking gray sabertooth cat with the words "MASTER CHIEF SEES YOU".

"That guy looks like you, ya know," 1241 teased.

"That's racist," Bastet smirked as she covered an eye of hers. "Argh, I'm the Master Chief - I need a weapon!"

There's a K9 Unit dog sleeping on the ground. Bastet recognizes the bastard dog being K903 - Ava.

The lockers are locked. The weapon racks are DNA locked and god knows there's a lot of blood on this damn ship and it's probably contaminated from mixing so they're useless too.

Bastet found a TYRE IRON in a toolbox, however! It adds 35+ ATK and a chance to >STN adversaries!

"Hey, Birdy," 1241 affectionately coos as he pets the dog. He looked at Bastet for explanation. "I used to feed her the dead rats from 6794's experiments, I guess she kinda grew attached to me - which could get her put down for it because she's kinda meant to be used against us in case we rebel."

"Good to know," Bastet gave the bitch a dirty look before looking at the switch.

and the other a PRIVATE Insignia. It is behind a glass case with a DNA SCANNER.

Knowing how to do this from her training, Bastet went for the PRIVATE insignia. It rejects her, "E-1 RANK INVALID WITH E-3 RANK DNA."

"Oh, maybe he heard you and authorized it?" 1241 suggested as he unlocked his EVO SUIT.

"Perhaps," Bastet shrugged as she unlocked the PFC (PRIVATE FIRST CLASS) EVO SUIT Insignia. The glass case opens and the EVO SUITS are available.

There are two EVO SUITS that Bastet and 1241 can equip. Both of them are different and offer different roles in regards of variability and combat - when needed.

CLASS ATHENA is COMBAT VARIANT

CLASS BRUTUS is SUPPORT|SUPPLY VARIANT

CLASS CASSIUS is RECON' VARIANT

CLASS DARIUS is OFFICER VARIANT

CLASS EMBOSS is PILOT VARIANT

CLASS FEDERAL is COMBAT MEDIC VARIANT

CLASS GOLDEN is DOCTOR VARIANT

and so on and so forth.

The EVO SUITS are basically the equivalent of a HAZMAT SUIT but designed for Combat and Medical Models rather than Engineer Models. They are practically skin tight space suits with Ulcium-Titanus armor plating - tougher and lighter than titanium, more ballistic stopping power than Kevlar, but it is rather radioactive so only a few plates are authorized on the body part. The CLASS ATHENA EVOLVED SPACE ARMOUR, simply known as EVO A CLASS or CLASS ATHENA, or CLASS A, is Bastet's suit.

The CLASS GOLDEN EVOLVED SPACE ARMOUR is 1241's suit. It's exactly identical except for being summit white and crimson red with a huge red cross on the chest.

The STAT BOOSTS multiply every stat by three, can be powered to FULL POWER MODE to increase stats to 10X at the cost of physical bodily damage.

There is a holographic projector on the forearms, akin to that of a touchscreen.

The helmets are all fitting and they provide a small forcefield for species with protruding ears. These force-fields can be powered into a SHIELD that covers the entire body at the cost of physical power.

The suits under-armour are skin tight, meaning that all garments must be removed.

"Right, so how do I put this on? Does it just--" 1241 started before dropping his jaw as Bastet took her top off to enter the EVO SUIT.

"W-what are you doing?!" 1241 cried as he covered his eyes in shame. It's not that Bastet doesn't have a training bra and tons of bandages to cover her bosom. "I'm right here!"

"What? You had no problem with it when in 199A, what changed?" Flirty. Why is she being flirty? Bastet recognized her sudden change in attitude towards him, but it... doesn't make sense - she just met him probably a few HOURS ago!

"You had a bloody BULLET in you! That's different!" 1241 sheepishly defended. Bastet rolled her eyes and went to take her sweatpants off. "Don'!"

"Come one, surely you've seen a woman before," Bastet stopped.

"Well, you were in the HYDRO-STASIS POD... right?"

"And?"

"You're not supposed to have undergarments on in the POD," 1241 says. "You didn't have a bra until you took one from the ICU - long story regarding that nurse whose crucified - so that means you have no panties."

"Get out," Bastet commanded and shut the door behind him.

Bastet equips the EVO SUIT.
