It is the 41st Century, space shuttles that can bend the reality of space and time are no longer a science-fiction dream but reality. However, life on the Last Frontier is threatened.

The United Intergalatic Senate has lost control of their citizens, capitalism and vigilante justice controlled The Last Frontier for thousands of years until three mega-corporations struggle for economic and total control. The Galactic Senate, however, directly profits from the civil war between the three factions.

The Solarflare Republic.

The Daemon Regime.

Remulus United.

These corporations now ceased fire, however, tensions are high. We have entered the 100 Year Cold War.

Daemon Regime has aims to create the perfect super soldier. The closet they have so far is a slave military name Daemons. Daemons, named after the corporation they work for, are slaves made from a variety of different races captured by unknown patrons of the corporation. Daemons are usually the offspring of Prisoners of War but also can be volunteered (indentured) into the regime. They're bred from birth to be obedient, loyal, and deadly. They are kept in line with a Neuron Chip, a generic term for the thousands of microscopic machinery floating in the brain of a Daemon. This Neuron Chip controls both the reward and pain sections of the brain. If a Daemon steps out of line, the Neuron Chip can terminate the Daemon indiscriminately.

Daemons, when traveling through time and space, are kept in Hydro-Hallucinstasis Pods. It simulates a real, normal life in the twenty-first century. Daemons long for a life of freedom, but they know nothing of the real life outside of combat.

The Echelon, a Daemon Carrier Ship, has gone radio silent. A system failure has caused the ship to stop mid-space, life support for the entire ship is failing.

Daemon 1995 has been shot by Admiral Price for unknown reasons.

With a throbbing head and an agonizing pang in her empty stomach, 1995 awakens in an unfamiliar bed. The bed sheets are rough and smells of blood and death, the pillow is probably a rock - but a rock would be indefinitely more comfortable than this.

Daemon 1995 pulls her head off the slab called a 'pillow' and wearily tries to blink the confusion out of her eyes. There are stables on both sides of cheeks, dried blood stains her gray fur.

"Crikey!" a voice cried out in surprise, "You're alive, 1995!"

Daemon 1995 has no idea who this person is but the accent is familiar.

"M-martian?" 1995 asks weakly.

"Not at all, mate," The figure shook his head. "Australia, Earth!"

Daemon 1995 saw no difference.

"Easy now, you've been through a bit!" The image in front of 1995 became clearer. "You're a lot tougher than your files suggest, you died four times on this bed during the operation; I had to fabricate a whole new body for you."

Being transferred into a clone of yourself is nothing new in the 4105 AD.

Finally, 1995's vision went into focus. There was a Langomorph, an anthropomorphic rabbit, in a padded medical jacket. On the front part of the jacket was a red cross, even his patches on both shoulders are red crosses. He's a doctor - medics would only have one patch on their left shoulder.

Even though the doctor had a calm and composed attitude, 1995 smelled his fear with her sharp nose.

>Series of Questions
"Wow you ask a lot of questions really fast," The doctor blinked. "Firstly, I wouldn't know what happened while you were unconscious. I was busy trying to keep you from dying a fifth time in a new body."

1995 turned to the left, a body is covered by linen.

"Yep, that's you." The doctor confirmed. "The Echelon is indeed still in a state of emergency, nearly all of the shipmates are rabidly slaughtering each other while being feasted on by the Infected. As for why Admiral Price shot you... well..."

"Erm..." The doctor hesitated before speaking again. "You're infected with some kind of viral infection that will corrupt your brain and turn you into a mindless husk while turning your insides into paste," The doctor explained. "Admiral Price, before going on a murder spree on his subordinates, ordered that all those who are infected to be neutralized. I obviously disobeyed - I am not a killer like you combat models, I am a doctor-model."

1995 is unsure if she's been insulted or not, but now faced with the hard reality - she's infected but with what...?
>>
>>1363499

>Does the infection carry over?

"Short answer: yes," The doctor nodded. "Because I merely made a copy of what already existed when you were in your pod. You were infected while in your bod, thus your body and it's copies are still infected."

"Long answer:

The BFM;DBCM stands for BODY FABRICATOR MACHINE and DAEMON BODILY COPY MACHINE respectively. The DAEMON BODILY COPY MACHINE copies the entire body down to molecular level - even foreign agents inside the body," Explained the doctor. "Even the destroyed heart and liver were copied inside of the new body where I surgically removed them. I then used the BODY FABRICATOR MACHINE to create a new heart and liver for you - as if you had them all along - by plugging in your DNA Codes and RNA Counter-Codes into the fabricator!"

>>1363618
>>1363662
"This shite has been going on for a full week," The doctor chimed in before answering.

"Erm... your guess is just as good as mine." The doctor shrugged. "I can't say I know how it spreads, but I believe - and it's just a hypothesis - that these virulent agents are somehow coded to infect some and kill others. I've seen three Daemons, combat, nursing, and janitorial, become infected. One of them became blood thirsty savage, the other became a mindless husk and slowly turned into red meaty paste, and the third... well, is you. You've been alive for a lot longer than the rest have been... and I've read your file, you're not exactly the strong type - erm, I say that as if you can't lift hundreds of pounds more than I can dream of - what I meant to say was very... erm... durable."

"And what's that supposed to mean?"

"You should've died inside of your Pod days ago, either turning into meaty blood-paste or drowning as you lose control of your body." The doctor stated. "You didn't. That's a miracle!"
>>
>>1363685
How are you going to make sure you don't get infected?
>>
>>1363685

"This... sounds familiar somehow... a super weapon project? I think I saw a movie about something like this... but it was about zombies and... yeah like two of the infected ended as a super weapon... "No! Because you should have been dead days ago! The lifespan of someone whose been infected is mere hours!" The doc stamped his foot impatiently. "I can't get a pure strain of the virulent, it conveniently contaminates itself with the tRNA of the host - this virus has intelligence of that that has never been seen before!"

>>1363894
It must be his attempt to hide his fear from 1995 that's sending her mixed messages. 1995 shook her head dismissively of these thoughts.

"Well, the gun that DOESN'T BELONG TO YOU," The doctor emphasized his disapproval of 1995 stealing the firearm. "is... uh... well, it's worthless now. The DNA TESTER got a taste of your blood and now it's locked out. You got yourself a glorified flashlight now."

The static is slightly less daunting.

The figure appears to be a anthropomorphic bear with goggles stitched into his skull. His eyes don't close and it seems as if he has no eyeballs underneath the goggles. A permanent smile is etched onto his face. His legs are mangled, he wears crutches on both arms. He is missing both of his hands.

"Hullo dearie, it's been a while," The old bear greets 1995. "Missed me? I missed you. Love what I did with the place since the last time we met? I know you just love the aesthetic choice."

wake up

wake up.

With a throbbing head and an agonizing pang in her empty stomach, 1995 awakens in an unfamiliar bed. The bed sheets are softer than the last time she woke up and the pillow is still a rock - but a rock would be indefinitely more comfortable.

Daemon 1995 pulls her head off the slab called a 'pillow' and wearily tries to blink the confusion out of her eyes. There are bandages now on her cheeks. She has been washed of blood on her face and neck.

...

The bandages on her chest has been changed too.

She's not wearing a bra.

Right.

>1995 is 100 healed!

She turns her head to see the bunne boy sleeping standing up. So much for standing guard while 1995 sleeps, huh?

After carefully slipping on her training bra and her shirt, 1995 slips out of bed to the surprise of the doctor.

"huh, talk about combat-models being tough..." The doctor comments before yawning awake.

>Commence.

"So... what we have to do to evacuate this ship without the ship AI killing us?"
>>
>>1364929
>>Commence.
>Thank the doctor again for patching us up and possibly helping to keep the infection from worsening.
>Ask the doctor's name again since we didn't catch it the last time we slept.
>Mention if the doctor already noticed the ICU sign behind our bed.

"No worries, mate, it's my job," the doctor stretched out his bunny legs. "My name? 1241."

>The ICU Sign.

"What sign?" There isn't a sign on the wall. "There's no sign. Why would we have the sign in HERE? Kinda redundant at this point, there is one outside."

>>1364964
This made the doctor preform a double take. "You want to what?"
>>
>>1364977
>"You want to what?"
>Evacuate the ship since the ship seems too infected to save, unless there's a way to stop the infection.
>>
>>1364977

"Find those who are not infected and lead them to escape pods without dying. Of course that would be the most beneficial for The Daemon Regime. as it would reduce their loses.Right?"
>>
>>1364977
Totally not saying that because modern Daemon chips are nanites in the brain and so are way harder to disable and I do not want the ship AI to blow up my head. So by saying we are aaving assets we will probably to at least get started

"Okay, this may seem like a open-close thing to you, since you haven't been in the regime for very long," 1241 quickly stepped in front of 1995 to prevent her from leaving the ICU. "I know, good idea right! Very noble! But think of this option, right? We can help the people who are infected but not immediately dying! I just need a-"

"No."

"I just need a strain of the -" 1241 tried.

"No."

"If you could give me time I can find a cu-"

"That's a negative and that's the last time I want to hear of it."

1241 tapped his foot impatiently. "You are willing to leave the Echelon ship crew behind without even attempting to find a cure for them?"

"What would be the point?" 1995 crossed her arms. "They're dead already, there'd be no point."

"You don't know that!" 1241 argued. "You're not dead yet!"

"Doctor, don't make me pull rank," 1995 narrowed her eyes. Combat Models were always a higher rank than medical models.
"We're bringing NON-INFECTED off this ship and we're getting the hell off - back to motherbase and that's final. Don't think I will leave you here."

"Oh bugger off," 1241 tapped his foot even harder. He is noticeably pissed, but he steps out of the way. "Before we try to escape, perhaps you should find a map and get familiar with the ship? Bloody nora only knows how much of this ship you're willing to sacrifice without getting to know it."
>>

>I just need a strain of the
"If you just need a pure strain of the virus to find a cure, but any infected subjects provide no dice, then do you have any ideas where we can find it? If not then we shouldn't be risking any more non-infected than we are by tarrying here."
>Before we try to escape, perhaps you should find a map and get familiar with the ship?
"We were thinking of looking for one before we got shot, any ideas where we can find any spares?"
>>
>>1365044
"Fine. And if you think you can work on a cure, we can do that AFTER we evacuate everyone who isn't infected yet."

Just as 1995 looked down, there happened to be a tire iron!

"There might be a map in the CREW's QUATERS, I know the way there," 1241 suggested.

1995 and 1241 are now in a different room. 1995 currently isn't giving the room's details much attention, but instead focusing on the bloodbath.

"Yeah, someone crucified the nurse, on the wall," 1241 says. "I think it's a sort of sick joke, there's a poster with a cat that says 'Hang in there'."
>>

1241 seems pretty unfazed by the situation...
Ask 1241 whether the bodies are biohazardous, and if not, loot them.

"Are you a spy? Because since you are not a combat model, you seem pretty chill with this, and while you are a medic, you are not a combat medic to be used for this... unless you are a younger clone of someone?"

"No, I am not a spy," 1241 answered. "I don't know if I am a clone of someone else, you wouldn't either, that's kinda how we do things around here. It would create an existential crisis like it did back in '95 - when I was fifteen."

>>1365635
With the options of a dead old doctor, a decapitated head, and a nurse crucified on the wall - the pickings were rather slim.

>got BLOODIED PHOTO

The photo is of the dead doctor when he was younger, he is with a female bear carrying two children. One a female langomorph child and the other a Da'hal, or a cat.

"I heard 4501, my best friend you literally just robbed, tell stories of 2190," 1241 gave a disappointed look at 1995 as she pilfered through 4501's body. "They used to call her Mama Bear, because she would always take care of the child daemons - That's my grandmum in the photo."

"Once upon a time, in the 90s, my family all worked on The Echleon," 1241 said, "Now... not anymore."

1241 accepted the photo. "Two years ago, me dad was killed by those bastards at Solarflare. Mum commited suicide by locking herself in the airlock and was flung into space.

my older bruv' (brother) died in combat before this whole incident started. Weeks ago. I tried to save him. He bled out before I could reach the bullet in his thigh. My sisters... well... they're back on earth grieving. I stayed. I couldn't face them to tell them I'm a shit doctor and our bruv (brother) died because of it."

1241 smiled. "But my shit life is no reason to be demoralized, we gotta keep moving!"

>>1365717
1241 hesitated. "Uh... in a way, yes, but I can't tell you."

"And why the hell not?"

"I don't have enough evidence to support it!" 1241 quickly responded. "I think it's an alien whom boarded the ship, but I just don't know."
>>
>>1365780
An alien or aliens? It would be helpful to know how many enemies we are facing. Also how many of the crew are infected and still alive?

because of the storage space on my computer and the need to delete files such as the panels, i had to archive the thread.

I apologize if it's a problem. I'm currently looking to buy a new hard drive to hold all these pictures I drawfag.

in the meantime, new thread.
