I imagine Bibles would only help against demons of Christian origin, and might require us to be a believer to work. Salt should probably be more ubiquitous in terms of warding off entities.

Church might be the best place to go for now. You need something, anything that can offer some semblance of protection. Maybe you could find the solution to your problem. Although you might not want to mention the succubus lest you sound a bit unhinged. Sure you weren’t always the most religious of people, but you also weren’t always the kind of person to know the existence of monsters.

You revive here, a place of tradition untouched by time and the advancement of the world around it. Its architecture is a stark difference not only in design but scale of the colossus buildings surrounding it. Maybe its just the fact that it reminds you of your old home back in a rural area, but seeing it brings you a small bit of comfort. Entering the building you notice it seems fairly quiet, maybe a bit disconcertingly so, you probably missed the preacher today and it seems everyone has already left.

The church is nothing too extravagant, simply a chapel and a few rooms off in the distance. The cushions on the seats are well worn, the floors are cleaned, but you can see the marks wear. Song books are in compartments on the backs of the benches as well as many other papers and pamphlets. The lights are seem relatively untouched, new additions maybe? The place has a well used feel too it.

You easily are able to find a copy of the bible. Among the chairs, you hope it is the right version, some sites gave different versions of the book you needed to use but this one would probably be fine right? You skim the pages searching for the verse you need. After about five minutes of searching the many passages you decide to simply decide to just search the passage when you get home.
