It is the 41st Century, space shuttles that can bend the reality of space and time are no longer a science-fiction dream but reality. However, life on the Last Frontier is threatened.

The United Intergalatic Senate has lost control of their citizens, capitalism and vigilante justice controlled The Last Frontier for thousands of years until three mega-corporations struggle for economic and total control. The Galactic Senate, however, directly profits from the civil war between the three factions.

The Solarflare Republic.

The Daemon Regime.

Remulus United.

These corporations now ceased fire, however, tensions are high. We have entered the 100 Year Cold War.


Daemon Regime has aims to create the perfect super soldier. The closet they have so far is a slave military name Daemons. Daemons, named after the corporation they work for, are slaves made from a variety of different races captured by unknown patrons of the corporation. Daemons are usually the offspring of Prisoners of War but also can be volunteered (indentured) into the regime. They're bred from birth to be obedient, loyal, and deadly. They are kept in line with a Neuron Chip, a generic term for the thousands of microscopic machinery floating in the brain of a Daemon. This Neuron Chip controls both the reward and pain sections of the brain. If a Daemon steps out of line, the Neuron Chip can terminate the Daemon indiscriminately.

Daemons, when traveling through time and space, are kept in Hydro-Hallucinstasis Pods. It simulates a real, normal life in the twenty-first century. Daemons long for a life of freedom, but they know nothing of the real life outside of combat.

The Echelon, a Daemon Carrier Ship, has gone radio silent. A system failure has caused the ship to stop mid-space, life support for the entire ship is failing.

This is a Da'hal, what humans would call an Anthropomorphic Feline.

A female rookie just turning of age and fresh out of training has awoken. This is horribly wrong. She is in her Pod. Her head hurts horribly, her clothes are only just barely keeping her warm from the frosty chill of the hallucinogenic water inside of her pod.

She is wearing what would allude to a scuba-mask, it's to keep the liquid from touching her eyes and causing permanent eye damage. The steady cold breeze of oxygen is not being flown into the tube; the scent of blood, however, permeates Daemon-1995's nose instead.

Daemon-1995 opens her eyes, she cannot see past the Pod Door but there is blood on the ground in front of her pod.

Muffed alarms ring in her ear, she is awake but she can tell by the lack of oxygen is resulting in the premature waking of Daemons and their subsequent death via drowning.

Daemon-1995, eighteen year old female rookie fresh out of training, is awoken in her Pod. Her head hurts horribly, her under-armor is only just barely keeping her warm from the frosty chill of the hallucinogenic water inside of her pod.

She is wearing what would allude to a scuba-mask, it's to keep the liquid from touching her eyes and causing permanent eye damage. The steady cold breeze of oxygen is not being flown into the tube; the scent of blood, however, permeates Daemon-1995's nose instead.

Daemon-1995 opens her eyes, she cannot see past the Pod Door but there is blood on the ground in front of her pod. There might be danger if she exits this pod. However, the oxygen flow has nearly ceased. A lever next to her arm is the emergency release, it will free her and save Daemon-1995 from the water but expose her to the risk of an attacker.

Daemon-1995 had no other alternative and reached for the emergency lever and gave it a huge yank upwards. She heard pressure pop in her ears and the loud mechanical screech of various machinery overriding themselves and prying itself open.

Daemon-1995 pulled the scuba-mask off of her face and undid her bindings, which was nothing more than a few leather wraps. They were torn off immediately on the account of her sharp teeth.

She feels weak as gravity took hold of her and she falls out of the pod.

Daemon 1995 falls onto the mesh-tile floor, it feels like flesh and metal. She opens her eyes to find meat and bullet casings littered across the bloodied floor.

Although Daemon 1995's eyes are blurry from the toxic effects of the pod-drugged water, she has a bearing of her surroundings. To the right of her pod is a terminal and to her left is a blood filled Hydro-Hallucinstasis Pod, meat and bones float in the hallucinogenic water.

Pod Station 199A is empty of anything useful and everyone that could possibly be alive. Pod Station 199A only housed 1995 and 1991. 1995 didn't know 1991.

The terminal is inaccessible. The caret isn't even blinking. The power is out. The damn thing is useless unless 1995 could restore the power to the Pod Station. Every input on the keyboard makes a soothing, yet annoying chime.

The automatic doors on both side of the room are locked on the account of there being no power. The only way through is if she could manually open it through brute force or through opening it through the computer.

Daemon 1995 may be a bred soldier, but she's no strongman.

Last time Daemon 1995 checked, she wasn't spouting out electricity through her paws... or hands rather. Unless you want her to start conducting electricity through spent bullet casing and blood.

As if Daemon 1995 had the button to restore the power to the entire ship in her sweatpants pockets, that would make this situation a hell of a lot easier wouldn't it?

However, if she can get into the vents she might be able to leave the room and find a power station... but the Pods are connected to the vents. She could try to man handle the pod gas-pipes down, but it might attract whatever made this blood bath.

It's scattered, but they do tend to leave to the right door. The door is locked.

The gas-pipes went down with ease, thus pulling down the vent with it. Instantly, the room reeks with rancid meat and fermented cherries.

It's pitch black.

Not to mention, there's no oxygen in there. She'll suffocate if she stays too long. If only she had some sort of light it would be a hell of a lot easier but that's how the cookie crumbles.

Robots are the least of 1995's worries, they are programmed to protect Daemons.

Being poisoned is a huge issue if it happens. 1995 carefully traverses the vents, her face becoming crimson as she struggled to hold her breath.

Daemon 1995 ends up wasting time and valuable oxygen in her bloodstream slamming her fists on the durable metal. She kicks at the walls, but it barely makes a dent. Only good in making tons of noise.

Daemon 1995 claws forward, choking and drowning in the unbreathable air being flown in her direction. She keeps throwing bullet casings in front of her.

Daemon's face is starting to feel tight, blood is rushing to her head.

This familiar, yet alien to Daemon 1995, it's uncanny... but this is very wrON-

The vent collapses forward into an incline plane. Daemon 1995 is expelled out of the vent and crashes onto a plant in a pottery. The pottery creates a gash in her left arm but 1995 paid it no mind, she was busy gulping the clean oxygen greedily, promising to never take advantage of oxygen ever again.

Daemon 1995 finally regains her composure and sat-up, she hissed at the stinging pain in her arm.

Daemon 1995 goes to tear a piece of her sleeve when she is interrupted by a ferocious growl in her ear.

It was a dog, it's teeth are bare and snapping at 1995 defensively. The canine is missing her left eye, perhaps it was gouged out by an... abomination.

Daemon 1995 recognizes this K9 using her Neuron Chip, the bitch's name is Daemon K903. Part of the Security Personnel om the ship, these genetically augmented dogs are used to overrun anniversaries and bite them to oblivion.

K903 backed into her corner, ears flat. It obviously wants no quarrel.

Daemon K903, seemingly recognizing 1995, lowered her haunches. On the side of the dog were bags slung over the back of the dog.

1995 reached into the bag and pulled out ROLL OF GAUZE. She applied the ROLL OF GAUZE onto her arm.

"Right then," 1995 tries to dismiss the dog but K903 refuses.

Upon inspection, it appears to be a sort of a hallway. Plants and soda machines decorated the walls along with plaques of high ranking officers. Various awards are also pinned onto the wall like badges of honor.

A shotgun shell, slugs, are littered all over the ground. There is nobody or a body to be seen. There was a hatch to go downwards into the lowerdeck, probably where matinence and utilities are. There she could restore the power.

The Soda Machines are not 21st Century Soda Machines. It's more like 3D Printers that spits out cans of sodapop for 0.03 Credits a pop. Trying to break the SODA PRINTING MACHINE would be like breaking a phone open to reach the voice inside.

1995 can't help but think that she and this dog has... prior history of some sort.

On her collar, it reads K903. There's a tag, it reads 'Ava.'

The quest to restore the power continues, 1995 anf Ava goes down the hatch into the lowerdeck. If it wasn't for the alarm's red chemical light, it would be pitch black. Tall towers of servers and geek tech stuff surrounds you like a maze.

This room is barren. The only way now is to proceed forward into the Utilities Room. To reunite electricity into the ship and finally figure out what the hell is happening to The Echelon.

Sorry about the cliff-hanger, thanks for playing so far. I need to draw up more sprites and review the story once more to iron out some inconsistency problems, I shall return at 5:00 PM EST Friday with a new thread.
