>>Information

This quest, as the title suggests, takes place in the world of Dragon Ball. You're playing as a twenty-two year old man named Tofoo, and will adventure through the story of the Dragonball series alongside characters such as Goku, Yamcha, Bulma, Tien, and many others. Through your actions, you can make significant changes to the story, and perhaps even become the strongest fighter on Earth.

>Rules

At the end of each update you'll have ten minutes to vote on options. Write-ins are allowed, but I do reserve the right to veto them.

In the event of a draw, the option to receive the next vote wins

Rolls will be used on certain occasions, such as attempting a technique for the first time or attempting something extremely difficult. You will have three rolls, and if one succeeds, you succeed. There are no crits.

Rolls are made AFTER an option wins, not during the voting process

I hope everyone has fun.

"OUR SON?!" Bulma asks in absolute shock, eyes wide as the infant Trunks in her arms stares up at her in confusion.

"Mama?" he asks her.

Bulma looks down at the boy, offering a small smile. "It's alright, sweetie."

"You realize how ridiculous that sounds, right?" Chi-Chi questions, looking at you with pure skepticism.

"Yeah," Krillin agrees. "I mean, the future, really?"

Yamcha laughs. "Sorry, buddy, I think you might have gotten duped."

"It's not like he asked me for money or anything," you tell Yamcha, pulling out the letter the young man had handed you. "I believe him."

You hold the letter toward your wife, who regards it with a puzzled expression as she takes it from your hand. As her eyes scan the note, you can see that she believes you now, and when she lowers it, she seems too stunned for words.

"Bulma, are you alright?" Krillin asks, concerned.

"He really was our son...." Bulma gasps.

"Seriously?!" Yamcha asks, still not sounding like he totally buys it.

"As touching as this whole family reunion is, you should probably get to the reason your brat came here," Piccolo comments irritably.

Turning to face the namekian, you see a smirk come to his face.

"I heard every word," he informs you. "And I trust I don't have to tell you to follow Trunks' advice and train instead of using the Dragonballs."

"Don't worry," you tell Piccolo. "I won't use the Dragonballs."

"Good, then I'm out of here," Piccolo declares, turning away from you and beginning to walk away. "Come on, Lapis. I'll explain everything on the way."

"Whatever," the young man replies, turning around and following the Namekian.

As Piccolo and his student take to the air, the remaining fighters look at you with curiosity. They don't even need to ask, and you begin to explain to them what Trunks told you, with Goku occasionally chiming in.

As you continue the tail of the terrible mechanical monsters that hold the future of the world in their hands, you decide to best to inform everybody of one of the more tragic aspects of what will come; Kori and Konattsu will both perish.

You can see the blood drain from Chi-Chi and Krillin's faces, and know that the message is clear to them. Still, you decide to spell it out for everybody just in case.

"We have to make sure we give this everything we have," you insist. "Otherwise, it's our children that are going to face the consequences of our failure."

Krillin and Chi-Chi nod, and you're actually somewhat taken aback. They each look more determined than you've ever seen them. It looks like informing them of their daughter's fate was the perfect motivation, and you're excited to see what they can achieve in the next three years.

"Well, there's no sense wasting time, then," Tenshinhan comments. "Chaozu and I are off to go do some training. Yamcha, you coming?"

"Maybe later," Yamcha tells his friend. "There's some things I need to take care of, first."

Without another word, Yamcha takes to the air and flies away. Tenshinhan and Chaozu wave goodbye before taking off in another direction. Krillin and Chi-Chi share a look before looking back at you.

"See you later," your friend says before he and his wife fly away, leaving you with Goku, Bulma, and Kori.

"So, I'm guessing you'll want me to make some upgrades to the gravity chamber," Bulma says to you.

Since we got three years might be a good idea to focus on one technique to improve each year while we train.
>>
I'm up for any technique but maybe we should keep working on our ki control and doing what Mutaito was during the WMAT
>>

Ki control would be awesome but not much effective against the androids since their energy is "strange" to us.

"That would be wonderful," you tell Bulma.

She sighs. "Alright then, I'll get to work as soon as we get home. If dad lends a hand, it shouldn't take long to make that bad boy a lot more impressive."

"Goku, do you want to come train in the chamber with me?" you ask your friend as you turn toward him.

"No thanks," he tells you. "I have my own training in mind. Kori will be my sparring partner."

"Really?" the little girl asks her father excitedly.

Goku smiles down at her. "Yeah."

"What's your plan, anyway?" you ask him.

"The same as it always is," Goku tells you with confidence. "I'm going to push myself even higher than I already have. And, with a good training partner like Kori, that'll be no problem."

His daughter is absolutely beaming now, and you can't help but smile.

"You should probably get home to your wife," you suggest. "And don't forget that medicine Trunks gave you. It would suck if you trained that hard and couldn't even fight."

"No kidding," Goku laughs. "And yeah, Suno's probably been worried sick. I wonder what I've missed while I was gone."

"Well, I won the World Martial Arts Tournament," you tell him.

"You're kidding!" Goku gasps. "I missed a tournament?!"

He recovers from his disappointment quickly, and grins at you. "Tofoo, spar with me!"

Training up our base power then. Being stronger, faster, breaking past our limits. Works on our friends though we would be able to freely share energy with them. What I really want is a flashy hard hitting beam attack something like Final Flash, would need a name maybe Kuma Crash. Dodonpa would also be useful as a piercing technique ot improved after images.

Supporting.

Also, I don't think polishing Ki mastery would be for nothing. Pulling a mutaito/Crane hermit wouldn't work as ki blocking doesn't work in what doesn't use ki, but for pretty much everything else its a win/win situation to enhance to, you could say, GOD levels the ki manipulation.

Nothing against plain regular training, but I bet that outright working in enhancing ki itself would work better than a workout routine that enhances physical body with some ki enhancement as side effect.

Canon piccolo had the right idea with meditation and all his unconventional training methods, improving ki itself seems to be more effective than the classic physical training, specially considering that our best tool, the kuma-ken, works enhancing the ki, and having a strong enough ki control and levels raises all the other stats significatively
>>
>>1330610
You're right about mastery of Ki manipulation being important, but so is having a body that can keep up with extremely potent Ki.
We should try and find a healthy balance between badass workout regimines and Ki training.

"Alright," you tell him. "But no Super Saiyan."

Goku frowns. "Come on, man, that's not fair!"

"It wouldn't be much of a fight if you went Super Saiyan, Goku," Bulma tells him. "Things will be more even if you fight at your base forms."

She glances your way. "Both of you. That means no Kuma-Ken, fair's fair. And don't try messing around with the Kaio-Ken, either. The last thing we need right now is you two messing up your bodies."

Goku smiles. "Right. Okay, Tofoo, let's move right over there."

He points a short distance away, close enough for the others to spectate if they wish, but far enough away that you don't need to worry about harming them.

The two of you take off, moving to the new "arena", and landing across from one another. As the two of you stand facing each other, you can't help but feel a small rush of nostalgia. You're reminded of the time you faced Goku at the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament all those years ago. Back then, as young teenagers, the two of you'd hardly had a care in the world beyond fighting, proving yourselves and to each other how strong you could become.

Now, the circumstances may have changed, but the feeling of this match is the same. Each of you want to see what the other is capable of, and are ready to find out which one of you is the better fighter. No transformations to widen the gaps between you; this will be a contest of skill, as it was those years ago.

"I can't wait to see what you can do," Goku tells you with a wide grin reminiscent of that little boy you used to know. "Let's give it our all, okay?"

Classic Tofoo. It has always worked well for him. And if we were to apply swordsmanship logic to this, the counterattack is usually more devastating than the initial attack.

"Of course," you tell your friend, dropping into a defensive stance.

Goku chuckles. "This again, huh? Alright, Tofoo. Here I come!"

Back then, staying on the defensive, fending off attacks, and waiting for an opening was your default strategy. It didn't always work, but more often than not, it gave you the chance to analyze the strength and technique of your opponents.

As Goku rushes forward, you decide that even if your defenses aren't good enough to fend him off, they'll still help you to gauge his strength and technique.

Just before reaching you, Goku fades into nothingness, dusting off another old strategy the two of you loved to make use of. Spinning, you raise your arm to block a kick from your friend as he attacks from above. Pushing off your arm, he flips before once more fading into nothingness, only to appear in a crouch right in front of you and throw a punch right into your gut.

You hunch over in pain, looking into Goku's amused eyes.

"Hehehe, wow, Tofoo, it's usually not this easy to get through your defenses," he tells you with no hint of judgment or disappointment.

He's simply enjoying the battle.

"Yeah, I suppose I've gotten a bit rusty at that," you tell your friend, unable to stop yourself from smiling just a bit.

Your fist comes up, rushing toward Goku's face, but the Saiyan notices it coming in time, and prepares himself to block it.

Perfect.

As Goku attempts to block your attack, you fade away, leaving an Afterimage behind, and moving around to strike at Goku's back. Your shoulder comes down, striking Goku in the back of the head and causing him to eat dirt, but as you spin around and attempt to strike at his prone form, he springs into the air, looking down at you as he cups his hands at his side.

"You can do it, dad!" Kori calls to her father.

Highly concentrated ki shield on our hands, strike his Kamehameha when it hits us and transfer the momentum and electric ki back at him.

Okay so we're charging a bunch of Ki in our fist, using that electric attack that I can't remember the name for, we rush in, slam it into the Kamehameha as it fires, then BOOM! Unleash all that Ki for an explosion.

Pretending to accept Goku's challenge, you cup your hands at your side, placing your right foot back and channeling your energy into your palms.

"Ka....me....." Goku begins, with you repeating the syllables.

"Ha....me....." you continue, a ball of light appearing between your palms.

At that moment, Goku drops his attack, moving to the side and rushing down toward you, even as you mirror his movement in anticipation of his Kamehameha. The two of you quickly close in on one-another, exchanging a furious flurry of blows as you collide in the air, sending shockwaves out in all directions.

The two of you move through the sky, each one of you attempting to land the first blow of this exchange on the other. Goku quickly falls into the Turtle School style of martial arts. That is to say, he fights with no real style or technique, making his movements and attacks difficult to anticipate and track.

Fortunately, you seem to have caught your stride as far as your defenses. Your reflexes are lightning-fast, and your strength unwavering. As powerful and seemingly random as Goku's attacks are, they don't find their mark, and you're able to fend them off long enough to find an opening for yourself.

Suddenly rising higher into the air, you throw a high kick that slams into Goku's jaw, throwing his head back and giving you an opening to rush in and press your palm to his chest. You unleash a ball of energy, sending your friend plummeting toward the ground, where the energy attack explodes on impact.

"Alright, Tofoo!" Bulma cheers. "That's more like it!"

The cloud of dust produced by the impact and explosion begins to clear, and you see no sign of Goku, save for a small crater where he "landed".

That's when you suddenly feel his energy behind you. You couldn't even sense him moving. How did he get behind you.

Gathering your energy, and even attempting to electrify it, you prepare to unleash your Explosive Wave, but Goku strikes too quickly even for that, landing a kick in the back of your head that sends you on a crash course toward the ground, just like you did to him.

Flipping and turning, you land in a crouch, sliding backwards across the rocky ground below you, and looking up to see Goku flying right down toward you, throwing a punch that you barely manage to catch.

His left leg comes up to strike at your face, but you block that with your free arm, only for Goku to kick with his right leg, catching you in the chest and pushing away from you, freeing his fist in the process, and flying backward away from you.

As Goku begins to speed away from you, you open your mouth wide, unleashing a colossal wave of energy from your gullet.

The beam moves far too fast for Goku to react, engulfing him before he can do anything to stop it. As you close your mouth, you see the wave begin to vanish as a massive explosion occurs within it, presumably from the energy overwhelming your friend.

"Dad!" Kori yells with worry.

The ground beneath you trembles, but you ignore the tremors, keeping your focus on whatever Goku will do next. You sincerely doubt that one attack was enough to take him out of the fight, and as the smoke begins to clear, you indeed see him back on his feet, sporting some serious damage to his ridiculous outfit, and a few scorch marks on his body, but no particularly devastating injuries.

And, rather than looking hurt or frustrated, he instead looks happy, a grin on his face as he stares across the empty space at you.

"This sure is exciting," Goku tells you, joy in his voice. "You're still an amazing fighter, Tofoo."

You can't help but swell a little at his words, feeling pride at being complimented by one of the strongest men in the universe in such a way. A smile comes to your face, the adrenaline pumping through you and making it hard not to feel as giddy as Goku.

"Let's keep going!" Goku says eagerly. "I want to see how much further we can push each other!"

"Just like old times, right?" you ask your friend.

Goku laughs. "Yeah, it sure is."

"It's good to have you back," you tell your friend, smiling.

Goku smiles in return, nodding in agreement. "It's good to be back."

"Well, if you want to see how far I can push you, you've got it!" you tell your friend, charging forward to attack.

Feeling a bit nostalgic, and a little cocky, you decide to dust off a technique you haven't used in quite some time; the Power Geyser.

As you reach Goku, you throw an uppercut aimed at his jaw, but he leans back to avoid it, throwing a punch that you only barely manage to block with your arm. The two of you push against one-another, and there's a great burst of energy as the two of you leap back, landing across from each other again, and preparing for another round.

>>
>>1331673
Kek, true
>>
>>1331680
Like it's been stated before, we need to gauge our progress by using the pendulum room and fighting Frieza.

We train for a bit, then go fight him in our base forms. We lose a bunch, train a bunch, rinse and repeat till we can take on final form Frieza in our base form.
>>
>>1331691
>Implying
>>
>>1331704
It's an actual goal where we can measure progress unlike the standard "Get Stronger". Being able to beat Frieza without transforming would probably help boost Tofoo's confidence more than anything. The guy killed us and then made us kiss the floor in front of our wife and kid.
>>
>>1331712
Freeza's a bad dude
>>
>>1331714
Yeah well beating his face in would do us a world of good.
>>
>>1331720
Maybe
>>
>>1331734
Wouldn't there be two Tofoos if we used the Pendulum Room to fight Frieza?
>>
>>1331874
Probably
>>
>>1331712
The thing is even Trunks needed to use a modified Kuma Ken. I agree that beating Frieza easily should be a benchmark, but I don't think we'll ever be able to do that in our base form.
>>
I had an idea for a modified version of Tofoos guided light blast. I mean, really it's the same exact thing but with more. I'm talking a barrage of light blasts rapid fired. Some might hit the target initially, but the idea would be for the target to dodge the majority. And all of those blasts that are missed are sustained. Dozens and dozens of orbs or energy. And once we fill the air with all that ki flak, we compress them all in at once against the target.

A feint leading to an attack from all sides.
>>
I know what we need. Pic related.

Also we could totally manage to finally perform the Jetstream Attack on Frieza if we use the Pendulum Room.
>>
Thanks again for running Som! This was a fun and cute update. Giddy man children punching each other is always fun.
>>
We already have the ki blade. Develop that into Future Trunks' full on sword.

We also have that ki shield technique to protect us from oncoming blasts in life or death situations.

How about a physical manifestation of the ki shield, similar to the sword? Sword and board motherfucker.
>>
>>1331950
So, Hellzone Grenade?

>>1332040
Glad you liked it

>>1332057
Neat idea, but would take a lot of energy to sustain
>>
>>1332544

I don't think it should be that ki intensive. The hardest thing would be to give it a shape and keep it that way, but otherwise it shouldn't be too different from keeping online a ki blade.

Kinda like how in Gundam, beam shields were pretty much just beam sabers with the energy contained in a shield shape rather than in a sword shape.
>>
In addition to training ourselves, it would be awesome if we could get outside help.

Throwing a party for the Kais was a great idea.

Having satellite surveillance would eliminate a LOT of issues with the "where's the android" game. As well as improve our ability to react to them quickly in case things go pear shaped.

Bulma might even be able to make orbital kill sats with hyper blaster tech. Who knows?

Healing or regen tech would go a LONG way towards improving tofoos staying power in a fight. Giving it to Goku would be obscene. Especially since it wouldn't use up senzu beans or ki.

Hell even getting a chunk of matching from the kais could be super useful both for armor and as a training tool.
>>
>>1332724

I wonder if Bulma could invent medigel like many videogames does that applies it to injuries and bruises after her custom armor/system detects damage
>>
>>1332853
In theory, yes, but that would take time, and the armor would likely be damaged in serious fighting
>>
>>1332861

Rather than armor, it would be then a very durable elastic meigel delivery system. It would barely offer any protection because that wouldn't be its main purpose but would be flexible enough to be nigh unbreakable, kinda like how regular clothes barely receives any damage and even massive ki blasts at best slightly breaks a bit the fabric of those clothes
>>
>>1332870
Interesting idea
>>
>>1332853
>medigel
Senzu Bean Paste?
>>
If we're focusing on ki control, and our ki can make electricity, would it be possible to develop an emp style variant of explosive wave, add electric bolts to our hands to short circuit them, or some form of magnetism to screw with their inner workings? Literally use it the same as normal ki techniques motaito developed, but with electricity so it can effect the androids and other future tech enemies
>>
>>1333438
Also further advantages of motaitos ki techniques and ki control, we can possibly suck ki out of others, including stealing ours back from the androids if they suck it out

Although idk if Som is nice enough to let us have OP ki control
>>
>>1333445
Not letting you pull that shit with the Androids
>>
>>1333447
JUST with the androids ey, so we can do it later on with future enemies?
What about the suggestions here?
>>1333438
>>
>>1333478
EMPs won't work on them, sadly
>>
We should probably spar against the others as well near the end of each year or so to see how their training is going.
>>
So, I posted this on twitter, but something came up,so I'll either have to run later tonight, or wait until later this week to run again

>>1333520
Not a bad idea
>>
>>1333520
We need to fucking make those who actually want to train, train hard. If you don't train for this, then you don't fight the Androids. It's already been pointed out that even Goku right now can't handle them, and nobody's on his level in our group.

I say we need to learn some pressure points from Shen or Tien, and some healing magic from Mutaito or a Namekian.
>>
>>1333599

Agreed. Technology assist from bulma such as the suggested medigel delivery suit and spy satellites/android detecting sensors plus a more technical type of training that doesn't involve merely doing physical training would do good to Tofoo and friends. New techniques and superior control on ki does a lot more than just buffing muscles. Besides, if I remember well, one of the plot points of Super was that the usage of Ki done previously was wasteful and too much ki was wasted/leaked when they powered up.

And well, it would kill Tofoo's superiority over the others, but it wouldn't hurt to teach anyone willing to go through the Tofoo brand ki training the Kuma-ken.
>>
>>1333520
we could hold three yearly events.

make it a sparring tournament thing and invite the kais.

put on a lavish spread.

holy shit, we could also maximize our gains by calling in a favor from King Yemma.

12 ensenji fruits.

with those we wouldnt need to rest for three continuous years. and would at least double our power.

even if the other 11 didnt increase our abilities, that alone would be helpful.

and king kai is yemmas boss...
>>
>>1333931
That's quite clever, but you wouldn't know about those fruits.

Still, keep at it with the ideas, you're coming up with some good ones.
>>
>>1334385
Would electrifying our ki help us against the Androids? That's why I was shilling it so hard.

Like, if we rammed our hand into Gero's chest with an thunder punch, would it short his battery?
>>
>>1334521
Gero would be well aware of those kinds of techniques, so I imagine he would have made preparations
>>
>>1334533
Then we must learn Nanto Sei Ken.
>>
>>1334533
>made preparations
Hmm, insulation then?

What about Stabbing them with the Ki Blade and pumping them full of Electro Ki
>>
>>1334552
Hmm....that could possibly work
>>
>>1334552
Actually depending on whether or not it is a postive or negative electric charge we may just end up boosting their power for a little bit.
>>
>>1334533
>>1334557
I know you said that we can't steal their ki, but could we stab them with an electric ki blade, and use that to route their power into a limitless battery like 16-18 had? If Gero can make them, why not Doctor Briefs?
>>
>>1334567
Different kinds of engineering, but given time, the Briefs could possibly manage it
>>
>>1334572
Would asking for some sort of ki battery/transformer be too meta? Because we have time...
>>
>>1334578
Yep, sorry
>>
>>1334581
Oh damn, alright then. If we can enhance our ki with electricity, can we do it with other effects? Like ionization or fire?
>>
We are so gonna die in the future, not due to the lack of training i'm sure, but due to the dice, this system feels a bit unfair sometimes, but, such is life, always almost unfair; thanks for running som.

>>1334590

We need a PDF of proposed techniques.

A lot of good ideas are buried in previous threads and it would be a shame for anons not to have access to them when voting time comes around again.

Some techniques

>Blade interception

By channeling the arm speed required for the octo arm technique into one impossible to see burst of motion Tofoo goes from completely still to instantaneously stabbing anything entering the range of his ki blade.

Useful counter to melee attacks, and especially after image attacks. Might allow beam deflection.
Has much the same uses as explosive wave, but more targeted, more lethal, and uses much less energy. Seems in line with Tofoos fighting style.

>Capsule Bomb

This is a flat out copy of the Spirit Bomb. Instead of relying on a connection to all living things this technique relies on our wife's business savvy. Capsule Corp agrees to plant ki/life force antennae in their products and building, satellites, etc. As needed these installations will sync up with scouters and drain an acceptable amount of ki from the surrounding life forms. This energy will be transmitted to a central reciever keyed to Tofoos ki allowing him to use a spiritually neutral artificial spirit bomb. Liable to upset king Kai. Easily upgraded by using Shenron to wish for business success for Capsule.

Probably much more feasible after the Dr. Gero arc once Bulma can study his tech.

>Hold Kamehameha

By exercising precise control over his Ki Tofoo forms a Kamehameha but instead of firing it releases it to be pinned to a point in his ki aura. By forming one or more Kamehameha in this fashion Tofoo can wait for the correct opening to fire them.

>Bear's Roar

Committing himself fully to annihilating his enemy Tofoo fires a much more intense Bear Shout that works as a continuous beam instead of a burst. The attack continues until Tofoo is drained of energy. The truly desperate might even tap into Tofoos life force for a massive increase in power.

I conceive of this as Tofoos super tribeam attack.

>Blast Sever

By infusing explosive Ki into his Ki blade Tofoo leaves cuts in his opponent that shortly explode. Because sometimes cutting them in half isn't enough.

Similar to an attack used by the grand supreme Kai, but less impressive.

>Bear Rake

Tofoo forms a Hybrid of the Kamehameha and destructo disk. Fired like a Kamehameha this attack burns its way into the enemy but instead of exploding it releases ultra sharp waves of cutting energy in all directions.

>Fourfold Lotus Technique

Using the eight arm technique Tofoo forms four Kamehameha attacks simultaneously. Also useful for similar charging attacks, or for chain firing special beam cannons or Dodonpa.

>Eightfold Violence Mandala

By applying the eight arm method to both his arms and legs and forming Kamehameha with his arms and legs Tofoo creates a brilliant cascade of attacks.

>Fists without number

By using the multi form technique very selectively Tofoo forms actual extra arms at will.

>>1335808
Worried about splitting your time between family and training? Jealous of the mad gains your alien friends are making? Worried your son might grow up to not be a super cool warrior like you are?

Worry no more friends.

The crane schools multi form technique can be used continuously to let three of you train while one of you acts as the responsible family man.

But wait there's more! In the event a mad scientist bent on revenge is plotting to kill you with androids your power level will SEEM to be only one fourth your actual ability!

Yes now you too can laughingly mock the foolish fools who underestimated you.
>>
>>1335870

That would be actually a good idea. Split into many Tofoos that does different kinds of training. One does the cliche full physical training, other meditates and performs ki enhancement training, the other focuses in learning/developing new techniques, and other simply chills with the family and test the inventions of Bulma as she would need a guinea pig for the ki-related technology and stuffs. And maybe other things the anons could come up with.
>>
>>1335916
Also, what would be the rules on using the hyperbolic time chamber with different Tofoos? I assume Som wouldn't let us play around with that, it sounds a bit too OP.
>>
>>1335931
im nearly sure you cant maintain multiform across dimensional barriers. it would be tough enough using it like we want to right now.
>>
>>1335870
I think the most we can get out of the Multiform Technique is having a sparring partner that's our exact equal.
I don't think Som is gonna let us cheat the system by having 4 different Tofoo's running around doing shit.
>>
>>1335981
nonsense! Tofoo will be able to do it through love of his family. NO LIMITS, only roll 100s and see how far it takes you!
>>
>>1335981

I don't see why would he forbid it. Other than splitting your power into many, I don't remember it having any drawback like burning ki like crazy or tiring the user as much as training for hours.

Besides, naruto used his clones for miscellaneous things other than sparring, we can't let naruto do things better than Tofoo
>>
>>1336109
Multiform is just making a better duplicate at the expense of splitting our energy in half.
Our clones kick way more ass than fox boy's do.
>>
>>1335808
>Fourfold Lotus Technique
I like this.
>>
I'm actually ereally excited for training with all these creative ideas, especially if we're allowed to multiform to cover all our bases with side stories of each tofoo, all topped off with a yearly mini tournament, technique share and kai party. It's going to be great
I'd love to see the montage of tofoo pushed past his limits fighting frieza in the pendulum room 1 moment l, then saving a herd of animals from a flood he carelessly caused with his latest technique in the mountains the next. Struggling with an insane mind bending ki control test as motaitos student in the afterlife followed by some happy slice of life moments rocking trunks to sleep after his busy day as a cowboy astronaut in the park, before heading upstairs to give Bulma a kiss and work late into the night hoping for a breakthrough

This timeskip has potential to be quest kino
>>
>>1336391
I just want to see us starting to teach Trunks how to fight.
Given how much Future Trunks was able to learn from us just from watching our tournament footage, what we can teach him now just makes me excited.
>>
>>1336410
Definitely, we should have baby footage of his first flight, and us comforting him after he burned hus hands after he made a little energy blast

Even if Som doesn't let us split 4 times, I'd like to have atleast 1 split so tofoo can be #1 dad and husband leaving some very happy memories before he dies
>>
>>1335808
>Bear's Roar
Committing himself fully to annihilating his enemy Tofoo fires a much more intense Bear Shout that works as a continuous beam instead of a burst. The attack continues until Tofoo is drained of energy. The truly desperate might even tap into Tofoos life force for a massive increase in power.

>Fourfold Lotus Technique

Using the eight arm technique Tofoo forms four Kamehameha attacks simultaneously. Also useful for similar charging attacks, or for chain firing special beam cannons or Dodonpa.

I like both of these But the Lotus seem more powerfull then one single bean that can use all of our energy.
>>
>Bear's Roar
I thought we already had Super Bear Shout as this type of technique
>>
Wait... Did we forget to ask goku about his weird clothes? Meaning he didn't tell us about his aliens friends and the instant transmission technique? Dammit...
>>
>>1339039
You're still sparring with him
>>
>>1339054
PRIORITY NUMBER ONE
>>
>>1339071
Keeping Bulma and Trunks happy and safe?

Well alright, but I'm not certain it applies at the moment.
>>
Tooling around on the wiki leads to odd ideas.

I now want a Bulma/Towa fusion more than breathing.

Bulwa or Towma?
>>
>>1339329

I hope bulma can invent those fancy fusion accesories earlier in this setting.
>>
>>1339329
>>1339462

Oh man, I'd love to see what Som can pull off with some of the game plot lines, like xenoverse, fusions and plan to eradicate the saiyans.
>>
>>1335808
>Multiform
>8 arms
>die die missile barrage
>special beam canon
>Kamehameha
>destructo dicks

Wow, I just realized we have a /perfect/ excuse to throw the Kais a party.

Grand Kai literally just saved our whole planet.

It would in fact be rude NOT to invite him to a party as thanks. And if he shows up, the directional Kais might very well also show up.

Hey SOM,

Would Gurus potential unlocking ability have any further affect on us?

Does being the Strongest Man in the World and carrying the hopes and dreams of all of Earth confer any power ups?

Could we use the Dragon Balls to wish for the Perfect Training Space?

Would it be unethical ask the Kais to plant a tree of might on earth every six months or so?

How does Lapis like Picolos icy wasteland training?

Any chance we could wield the Power Pole, or wish for a duplicate? Because that seems to be utterly under utilized.

It's an untreatable staff that can extend to at least lunar orbit.

Objects moving around the perimeter of a large circle are moving much faster than objects closer to the center of an arc.

Kinetic force increases in a linear fashion with increase in mass, but an exponential fashion with increase in velocity.

Thus we could use a power pole to slam an opponent with an attack moving much, much faster than our already very fast punch.

An opponent 8 times he distance of our forearm away would be hit with X^8 force.

The power pole can extend at least 238,000 miles. By locking on to an energy signature and treating pole extension as a property of arm angle during our attack we could describe a very narrow arc of travel that results in the pole tip hitting the enemy with unstoppable force.

If we could infuse the weapon with ki it would be even more devastating.

Let's see the androids deal with physics.
>>
>>1342010
So yeah, learn instant transmission, throw a Kai party and gains to protect our family and planet.

All our ducks seems to be in a lining up rather well.
>>
Gotta also ask Kami to give us the heaviest set of weight clothing he can give us that can help, but won't hinder our training either.
>>
So our priorities are
>Be a good husband and wife
>Don't Die
>See if we can get Grand Kai to come to a party
>Ask Goku if he can teach us instant transmission down the line
>Get back to gravity training
>Look into Ki Training
>Figure out a new super attack
>Get a new weighted Gi
>>
>>1342763
>ask Bulma to build a satellite network
>measure ourselves weekly against freeza
>and yearly against our friends
>Invite the kais to the yearly sparring, let them bring fighters from their quadrants.
>>
>>1342763
Ki training with mutaito explicitly.
>>
>>1342010
Physics is a bitch. The issue with s would Tofoo know any of this shit?
>>
>>1344063

He's married with Bulma, surely he picked one or two things about science being with her. Or he could simply ask her how she thinks he could apply science to martial arts.
>>
>>1342010
Guru is dead, anon

We'll see

Eh

Yes

He gets to blow things up, he thinks it's fun

Sure
>>
>>1342010
The only real free powerup we have to look forward to now is Mystic, and we might not even get it.
>>
>>1344877
You shut the fuck up, that's for our boy.
>>
>>1344877
You must train!

>>1344965
What about Kori?
>>
>>1344877

Haven't watched Z in a while. What stops the eldest kai from doing the ritual for more than just one person, besides time limitations due incoming apocalypse?
>>
>>1345044
Whether or not he feels like it
>>
>>1344976
I mean, he could just dance around Kori, Trunks and Konattsu.
>>
>>1345071

Surely Tofoo can convince him to do it many times. He isn't above promising naughty things in exchange for power
>>
>>1345083
Not sure if it works that way

>>1345084
>Implying your wife would let-

Actually, no, if it was for everyone's survival, you could probably talk her into it
>>
>>1345084
>>1345086
I am all in favor of our wife helping us train and get stronger, but that's taking things a bit far.

Hey SOM,

I know Immortality is off the table, but how do you feel about eternal youth?

Failing that what about using Paradise Grass?

The idea is to wish away the time/entrance limit on the HTC.

Could we learn ghost projection? Seems like it would be a major upgrade to the afterimage to leave a ki ghost behind in it.

We ever going to be eligible to train with Grand Kai? He seems pretty cool.

So what did Yamaha have to run off and do so quick anyway?
>>
>>1345267
I'd consider it, but you may want to consider the implications

See above

Maybe

Possibly? Gonna need to explain that better

10,000 years training on his world, first

There's someone he needs to talk to
>>
>>1345086
That's going on the assumption anyone pulls the sword free and breaks it.
>>
>>1345576
True
>>
>>1345583
Well this time it's a matter of strength, not purity.
So we might actually be able to do it, or at the very least somebody else could pop super-saiyan and do it.
>>
>>1345325
>I'd consider it, but you may want to consider the implications
I'm not entirely sure what the implications are, we would be able to keep ourselves in our prime physically, while still aging and eventually just dying of old age instantly. We should still be mortal, just in top peak condition the entire time(albeit with a few more years of life as we would be in amazing health). Could you clarify?
Also I literally just found and read the entire dragonball quest archive in the past week, you're an insanely good writer, I haven't even gotten the chance to participate and I'm already really invested to the quest.
>>
>>1345617
So we would be doing what Saiyans seem to do automatically.
>>
>>1345625
basically
>>
>>1345583
How effective might a Ki buckler be?
>>
>>1345658
so like the ki shield from earlier?
>Neat idea, but would take a lot of energy to sustain
That's Som's thoughts on it if that help.
>>
>>1345617
You said eternal youth, that means never dying of old age
>>
>>1345703
Oh yeah, totally forgot we covered that. My bad, new pain meds are making me groggy. I'm Just going to go away until the next updates.
