Both Roni and Nodal run down to the dock as fast as they can. They reach the dock in time to catch a quick look through their rusted telescope. In their view is what seems to be an abandoned sailboat. As the ship approaches, Roni and Nodal ready themselves for anything.

"You two don't look very threatening."

A female sounding voice calls out from the seemingly abandoned boat. The two friends look at each other confused. Nodal finally steps forward.

"Are you a talking boat?"

"No silly." From behind the side rail of the boat, pops a slightly older looking person, who waves at the two friends.

"My name is Mallow. What's your names?"

Roni cleared his throat before Nodal could answer. "I'm Roni and This is Nodal. We're the oldest boys here so we are this islands chosen protectors!"

Nodal raised his finger to make a declaration. "We're only 15."

Roni elbowed his best friend in the ribs trying to keep him quiet.

Mallow hopped off of her sail boat onto the moist sand and smiled with a slight bit of panic on her face.

"I'm glad you two are the protectors then because you now get to see why I'm here!"

Mallow turned back towards the sea and dropped into a fighting pose.

"Roni, what kind of fighter are you? Same goes for you Nodal."

The water near the shore began to bubble and churn. Waves began to form and crash into the side of the now beached sail boat. A blue sea serpent erupted from the oceans depths roaring at the Majin girl and human boys.

"ROAAARR!"

Roni backed away from the sea serpent and began to wipe the soles of his crudely made shoes. Mallow turned her head.

"Don't tell me you're chickening out now!"

Roni shook his head. "Just getting some room."

In an instant Roni was running as fast as he could towards the Sea Serpent. He ran down the beach not losing speed at all once he hit the sand. He kept running as if on land once he hit the water.

Mallows face dropped to the ground in utter shock. "HE CAN RUN ON WATER?"

Nodal jumped and grabbed a low hanging tree branch and snapped it into a pole. He spun it above his head and dropped into a combat ready pose.

Roni sprinted on the waters surface straight towards the Sea Serpent. He leaped into the air and began running up the beasts underbelly towards its chin.

Mallow turned towards Nodal. "He's going to need help out there."

Fastball Special.

Mallow grabbed Nodal by the back of his shirt and pants. He tried to wriggle his way free from her grasp to no avail.

"Let me go! What are you doing?" Nodal demanded.

"We're helping your friend." Mallow answered. She began to twist her body and spin in place gaining momentum on her side.

"IM GONNA BE SICK!" Nodal cried out as he spun against his will.

"Go get him big guy!" Mallow released her grasp on the teenagers clothing sending him through the air screaming.

"HOW STRONG ARE YOUUUUUU?" Nodal flew through the air screaming. as he neared the Sea Serpents head he readied his crudely fashioned bo staff above his head.

"AAAHHHHHHHH!"

Nodal slammed his staff down on the middle of the serpents head as hard as he could knocking it silly. Roni sprint climbed up the serpents chest as the sea beast wobbled in a dazed state. He jumped and landed on the snout of the snake.

2. Grab onto one of the serpents whiskers and pull.

Roni grabbed ahold of the serpents whisker and pulled as hard as he could. The beast roared in a fit of rage and pain. Nodal straightened out his body and dove into the water below. The Sea Serpent whipped around in a fury tossing Roni around violently.

"LET GO!" Mallow screamed.

Roni let go flying through the air and finally splashing into the water.

BABOOM!

Mallow covered her head as the lone cannon on her sail boat fired shrapnel into the gut of the beast.

The serpent dropped into the shallows of the island, dead.

1. Load the dead Sea Serpent onto the sail boat.

3. Start cooking the Sea Serpent on the beach.

Mallow, Nodal, and Roni dragged the massive amount of uncooked food back to the village. As they entered the center of the village, a few younger kids came out to see the son to be dinner.

"Where did that come from?" A voice questioned from inside one of the nicer shanty homes.

Roni grabbed Mallow by her arm and pulled her into view of the mysterious voice. "Mallow, this is our Master. He taught us how to fight."

An adult looking Namekian walks into view of the trio. He makes his way to face Mallow and bows in greeting.

"My name is Bassoon. It is a pleasure to meet you. I see you have been helping the boys fish."

The Namekian peered into Mallows eyes with a sense of displeasure.

"Master Bassoon, I-."

Before Mallow could finish her explanation, Bassoon stopped her with a gentle raised hand. "I am not your Master. Please, Call me Bassoon."

Mallow breathed a sigh of relief at the soft-spoken Namekian. "Bassoon, I was being chased by this Sea Serpent that lies before you. By fate or chance or whatever you believe in I ran into your students who were more than happy to help me out of my dire predicament. I owe them my life."

Master Bassoon smiled and nodded at the slightly panicked female Majin. "Let us feast then on the spoils of your safety!"

After a wonderfully cooked meal the children started to make their ways to bed for the night. In front of the still roaring fire sat a stuffed Mallow, Nodal, Roni, and Master Bassoon.

"Tell me how you came to occupy that sail boat Mallow?" Bassoon wiped his mouth with a napkin as his antennae flicked with interest.

Mallow breathed a sigh of gratitude for the meal. "I was apart of a pirate crew with my adoptive father, Captain Tall Tide. We were going after a wonderful treasure rumored to be found among these many local islands. One thing led to another and I was cut out from the cut. That bastard marooned me on a deserted island and left to find the treasure with his crew minus me. That sail boat happened to be at the other end of the island barely held together with seaweed. I fixed it up and set sail to beat my father to the treasure and get my revenge."

Nodal and Roni perked up at the mention of treasure in Mallow's story. Roni finally spoke up.

"What's the treasure?"

In my mind I can see it going down the path of not all three of the characters will die so the still living ones would go try and wish the dead one back to life OR the dead character would continue his/her journey while being dead. (Goku did it why not us?)

Mallow sits up on her log by the campfire and clears her throat. "I was told this story as a bedtime story when I was little. I figured it was just a story but some people think that its true. Long ago, A thief wandered the world looking for something to steal but nothing would satisfy his hunger for theft. Finally, he discovered a mighty warrior who claimed that a simple bean granted him ten days of fullness and put him at max strength. The Thief believed the mighty warrior and decided to find these magic beans. The Mighty Warrior warned the Thief that the keeper of the beans was known as the God of Martial Arts. The Thief scoffed at the warning knowing that he was not interested in fighting for the beans, his plan was to steal the magic beans. The Thief found the God of Martial Arts home and used his cunning skills to steal a single bean."

Master Bassoon, Roni, and Nodal hung to every word as Mallow continued her story.

"The story ends with the Thief planting that lone bean on an island similar to one of the small ones around these parts. My father, Captain Tall Tide, wanted to go to the stalk and take all of the beans he could. He called it the Senzu Stalk."

Master Bassoon stood up and dusted his hind quarters off from the dirt he had sat in. "I've heard of Senzu Beans before but never a Senzu Stalk."

Nodal jumped to his feet. "We could help you find the Senzu Stalk!"

Roni's eyes widened in excitement after Nodal's declaration. "Please let us go, Master Bassoon!"

Master Bassoon turned and walked to his home. "Everyone get some sleep. We will talk about these maters in the morning. Mallow, there is a spare house next to mine that you can sleep in tonight."

Mallow bowed graciously as the group went to sleep.

Roni's eyes ripped open at the sound of a loud thump and roar.

KABOOM!

The young fighter jumped out of bed and ripped open his front door. He ran to the middle of the village skidding to a stop. In front of him were two more Sea Serpents swimming around the island ready to attack the inhabitants.

1. Wake everyone up.

2. Run into battle. You can take care of these goons.

3. Get the younger kids to safety.

One of the Sea Serpents spots Roni and starts slithering its way up the beach ripping through the trees towards the fighter and his village.

"EVERYONE WAKE UP! SEA SERPENTS!" Roni screams and started kicking in doors to get his friends to wake up. Mallow opened her door and started collecting the still half asleep children and getting them out of the village and taking them further inland. Nodal grabbed a professionally crafted bo staff from his hut and joined Roni outside. Master Bossoon boosted his door open and spotted the Serpent coming at the boys and the village.

2. Roni meets the Serpent and unleashes a flurry of punches to its face.

3. Nodal uses his bo staff as a javelin and hits the beast in its eye.

I'm hoping the longer this continues the more people will become interested and join in.

Master Bossoon running kicks the Sea Serpent in the side of its head and sends it into a tree snapping it in half. The Serpent brushes the attack off and rears back to bite the Namekian. Nodal kicked his bo staff sending it into the mouth of the Serpent as it came down over Master Bossoon. As the beast tried to close its jaw around the master the staff held strong preventing him from being devoured. Roni burst into a sprint.

"FIN KICK!" Roni leaped into the air and kicked into the snout of the serpent. His blinding speed from the kick caused a whipping strike, cutting the Serpent open.

ROAARR!

The creature howled in pain as it came off of Master Bossoon leaving him unharmed. As it raised its head, Master Bossoon grabbed Nodal's staff from its mouth and tossed it to Nodal. Seeing his opportunity, Master Bossoon jumped into the air and met the Sea Serpent eye to eye.

"STATIC FLASH!" Bossoon struck his wrist together causing an immense flash of blinding light.

The serpent turned and coward in defeat as it slithered back to the ocean depths in retreat. The other Serpent wasn't impressed and began to come towards the fighters.

"I GOT IT!" Mallow ran past the three island protectors toward the incoming threat.

2. Mallow stretches her arms around the chin of the beast and rides it back into the ocean.

3. Mallow enlarges her fists and double bops the beasts ear holes.

Mallow leaped into the air brushing past some tree branches. She lunged her arms forward. As she did this her arms continued to stretch to the amazement of the three fighters still in the village. Mallow twisted her arms around the mouth of the Serpent creating a muzzle and dropped to the ground pulling the beast with her slamming it to the ground in a winning fashion.

As Mallow retracted her arms, releasing the serpent, she walked back into the village center to applause from Master Bossoon, Nodal, and Roni. Mallow blushed and bowed in appreciation.

"Are you made of bubble gum?" Roni questioned.

"Heh, no I'm a Majin. We can stretch our bodies." Mallow answered.

Master Bossoon disappeared into his home for a bit and returned carrying two patches. "Nodal, Roni, I've been waiting to give you these until you had learned everything you could from me. You both shave showed me that today. Here." Bossoon handed the kanji patches to the two boys.

"Sew them onto your clothing to show everyone who you trained under. This is important once you leave this island." Master Bossoon instructed.

Nodal and Roni ran and hugged Master Bossoon. "Thank you Master. Roni hugged tighter. We wont disappoint you."

Nodal nodded in agreement.

"Take care of them Mallow." Master Bossoon shook the Majin's hand.

"I will." Mallow said her goodbyes to the other children of the island and prepped the sail boat for voyage off of the island.

Nodal and Roni gathered their belongings and said their farewells and loaded up into the boat. Nodal looked at the sail confused as they set sail from the island he called home. "What's the name of this boat?"

"I call it the Woodwind." Mallow patted the side of the boat and smiled.

"She got me off of that deserted island and I owe her my life for it."

Roni looked around at the vast reaches of ocean all around them. "Where exactly are we heading again?"

Mallow altered the angle of the sail lightly. "We are heading towards the Senzu Stalk. It should be due north from where your home island was at. I'm not entirely sure how far from there it is though. Heck, I'm not even sure if my father has gotten there or not."

"If your father marooned you then he should be way closer to the Senzu Stalk than we are right?" Nodal questioned.

Mallow pulled a map from one of her boots. "I swiped this from him as he left me on that island. He doesn't even know where he is going at this point."

The group settled in for the long voyage and laughed at the thought of the lost pirate captain.

After many more hours of sailing Mallow jumped to her feet rocking the sail boat and started yelling and pointing.

"SENZU STALK STRAIGHT AHEAD!"

In front of the Woodwind was an island. As the ship approached the island the Senzu Salk came into view.

"It really does exist!" Mallow proclaimed in a shocked tone of voice.

The Woodwind landed on the beach and the three excited treasure hunters ran to the base of the magic plant.

"Hold it right there." A stern sounding female voice echoed through the area. From a small cottage near the forests edge cam a bipedal fox.

"No one just gets Senzu Beans. Especially when they aren't theirs."

"Who are you?" Mallow wondered aloud.

"I'm Mother Senzu. I protect this plant from pirates like you three." The fox approached the plant.

"Where is the thief who stole these from the God of Martial Arts?" Mallow continued to question the fox cautiously.

"I am the thief darling." Mother Senzu smiled at the revelation.

"Why did you steal the bean in the first place?" Roni asked the fox.

"My village was starving. We had been attacked by bandits and they had also taken our food. I had heard of the Senzu Beans before. A single bean could satisfy your hunger for ten whole days. On top of that it raises your body to full strength. I had to try and get some for my village." Mother Senzu crossed arms and seemed to lower her defense slightly.

"I heard that you only stole one bean. Why only the one if your whole village was starving?" Nodal put his no staff back in its holster on his back.

"Do you know who Korin is?" Mother Senzu asked.

The group shook their heads collectively stumped by the question.

"Korin is the God of Martial Arts. He's also a better fighter and faster than I am. Once I got to the top of his tower to get the beans, I realized that I was far out matched. I barely made away with the single bean. I returned home with the one bean. Instead of giving up, I decided to help those in need like my village. I planted the bean here and the Senzu Stalk grew. As people needed help, I supplied them. If greedy thieves or pirates came. I fought them. My days as a thief were forgotten and I came to be known as Mother Senzu."

"We came here because a band of very dangerous pirates want the Senzu Stalk. Our goal was to beat them here and take it for ourselves." Mallow looked over her shoulder towards the ocean nervously.

"I will not let you take the Senzu Stalk." Mother Senzu crossed her arms sternly.

Nodal turned and grabbed Mallow by her hand. "We made it here, that should be our treasure. Our island isn't starving and she's doing a great service here."

Mallow squeezed Nodal's hand. "You're right."

Roni stepped forward. "How about this, if one of us can beat you in a fight, you give us six Senzu Beans."

"I suppose I could use a good challege." Mother Senzu smiled with anticipation.

Roni nodded and stretched a bit as he backed away from his opponent.

"Remember Roni, she stole the Senzu Bean from a God. She's not to be taken lightly." Coached Nodal.

Roni listened to Nodal's advice as he readied himself. "You ready?" He hollard at the fox.

"Lets go!" She yelled back.

Roni dug his foot into the ground and lunged forward with a thunderous take off. He spotted his target and went for the attack.

Mother Senzu darts her eyes back and forth keeping her view of the running Roni intact. Roni stops in front of the fox and jump steps left and then just as fast steps back to throw his opponent off balance.

Thudd!

Roni uppercuts right into the gut of Mother Senzu sending her into a hunched over position, gasping for air.

Roni takes his shot and jumping knee strikes for her face. Mother Senzu throws up her arms just in time and blocks the strike. The sheer force and speed send the fox back a few steps. She dropped to her knees and arched backwards just in time to dodge a swift spin kick from Roni. As Mother Senzu flipped back to her feet she made a discovery about Roni.

"You have no defense."

Roni punched at her face only to find her grasping his wrist and slamming him face first to the ground. With his ribs exposed, Mother Senzu kicked him as fast and as hard as she could.

VERRRROOOONNN!

A deep horn erupted from behind the fight. Originating from the ocean, a large pirate ship blared another horn signaling their arrival.

Mallow's eyes widened with fear. "Father?"

Mother Senzu helped Roni up to his feet as the group turned to see the large pirate ship belonging to Captain Tall Tide.

Nodal turned to Mallow. "What do we do?"

"We stop them from getting the Senzu Stalk. I call dibs on my father." Mallow clenched her fists tight with anger.

Roni dusted his shirt off and nudged Mother Senzu. "Our fights not over yet."

Mother Senzu nodded. "Good."

The four fighters readied themselves for battle as Captain Tall Tide's ship crashed into the shore of the island.

Roni explodes from his position sending dirt and dust flying. "I'M NOT WAITING FOR THEM!"

Mallow, Nodal, and Mother Senzu stared in disbelief as Roni ran towards the freshly beached ship.

"Fool's going to get himself killed if he doesn't watch it!" Mother Senzu raced after the headstrong fighter into battle.

"STAND DOWN BOY!"

Roni's body dropped to the ground and slid from an immense boot to his chest. He coughed from the strike.

"I, Captain Tall Tide, am here to claim this Senzu Stalk as my own! Accompanying me on this hunt are my-" Captain Tall Tide staggered with his words as his eyes met Mallow's.

"My pink, bubble gum looking daughter. I wondered if you would beat us here. I knew it was you who stole me treasure map and wondered if you had the gull to challenge me for it." The pirate gang began to laugh heartily.

"You are no father of mine! You bastard!" Mallow grew angrier by the second.

"My dear, I never intended for you to stick around this long. I've seen what a Majin can do and as my past actions indicate, you left me disappointed." Captain Tall Tide curled his moustache with his pirate hooked hand.

"Don't forget, He's mine!" Mallow growled.

Nodal and Mother Senzu nodded in understanding as they helped Roni up to his feet.

"I guess we aren't getting that Senzu Stalk the easy way ay boys?" The large pirate captain drew back his coat flap revealing a pistol. With blinding speed he drew it and fired at Mallow.

KABANG!

Roll a 1 to 33 and Mallow gets hit by the gun shot.

Roll a 34 to 66 and Mallow barely dodges the gunshot.

Mallow quickly extended her finger plugging the barrel of the pistol.

KABANG!

Captain Tall Tide threw the gun down in a fit of rage and set his sights on Mallow. "You'll pay for that, girl!"

He raised his hook above his head. "ATTACK!"

The small group of five pirates drew their swords and raced towards the three other fighters defending the Senzu Tree.

Captain Tall Tide dropped a thunderous slash with his hook missing Mallow by just a sliver. As he dropped past her she quickly raised her knee, connecting with his jaw and sending him into an upright standing position.

1. Mallow unleashes a barrage of punches into the stomach of Captain Tall Tide.

2. Mallow kicks Tall Tide in the face in quick succession.

Mallow sent a standing kick into the face of Captain Tall Tide. The captain, spotting the oncoming attack, tilted his head out of the way of the hard kick. Mallow stretched her leg out and curved it back into the back of the head of the villainous Captain.

"I remember how quick you were, father, but I've honed my skills as well." Mallow warned.

Roni ducked a swords slash, barely avoiding decapitation. He sprung up into the air as the next pirate entered the fight. Planting his feet square in the chest of his newly arrived opponent, Roni jump kicked off of the pirate and delivered an upside down punch to an unsuspecting pirate behind him.

Mother Senzu dodged a punch from her attacker and delivered a series of punches to his face before he could comprehend what was happening. Nodal met Mother Senzu back to back and readied his bo staff for the oncoming two man attack.

1. Nodal blocks one hit and trips the opposite pirate with his staff.

2. Nodal spins giving Mother Senzu two new opponents.

Nodal tried to block the oncoming attack but missed. The pirate slashed down, cutting Nodal's bo staff in half. Nodal froze uncertain of what to do next. The second pirate took advantage of the situation and delivered a swift spinning kick to the back of Nodal's head, knocking him face first to the ground.

"GET UP, BOY!" Mother Senzu demanded of Nodal as he played in the dirt. She blocked an oncoming attack and twisted the pirates are in such a way as he immediately dropped his sword and belted out a yelp of pain. The fox turned to take on the two attackers of Nodal.

1. Mother Senzu grabs Nodal and retreats defensively.

2. Mother Senzu grabs one of the pirates and uses his body and sword to fight the other pirate.

Mother Senzu grabbed the approaching attacker and whipped behind him, wrapping her arm around his throat in the process. Using him as a human shield, she pressed forward towards her other pirate attacker. "GET UP NODAL!"

Nodal, shaking his head clear, stood up and reaccessed the battle. Roni had knocked out one pirate and was fighting his second. Mother Senzu was using one pirate as a shield and was parrying with another. The last pirate was face down behind him, possibly dead. Mallow had been fighting Captain Tall Tide on her own.

Buu was mentally impaired due to the strongest being he absorbed destroying their brain before absorption.
After Buu created the new Majin race, they were presumably not affected by the broken mind that Buu had absorbed.
This would mean they would most likely have average levels of intelligence as they were mostly pure Majin.
This is all just me making inferences based off of the only "canon" explanation for the Majin race (Xenoverse/DBOnline).
Caff might be doing something completely different from that in this story, but that's my best explanation as to why the Majin are like this.

Having done a quick check, it is never stated that Grand Supreme Kai destroyed his brain in canon.
That was probably just a bit of bullshit I got stuck in my head from Multiverse.
Apparently Buu was just dumb and carefree because Grand Supreme Kai was just extremely chill.

Seeing Mallow dodging attacks from Captain Tall Tide, Nodal ran to try and help her. As he approached the father and daughters fight, Mallow blocked a mighty slash from the Captains deadly hook. The force from the hit shook Mallow's body causing her to give way to the strike slightly.

1. Deliver multiple standing kicks to the exposed ribs of Captain Tall Tide.

2. Boot the side of the Captain's knee giving Mallow extra leverage.

Nodal stomped on the side of Captain Tall Tide's knee dropping him onto it. Mallow took advantage of the ease in force and reared back. She smiled a large grin at her adoptive father and smashed her head into his nose. The Captain stumbled back a few feet from the hit.

"Why you little... I RAISED YOU FROM THAT LITTLE LOST PINK BLOB INTO THE FIERCE PIRATE YOU ARE TODAY!" Captain Tall Tide was visibly becoming more upset.

"YOU OWE ME EVERYTHING!" The frustrated pirate yelled.

1. Mallow punches Captain Tall Tide sending him flying to the base of his ship.

2. Nodal spinning punches the Captain in the throat.

Mallow stretch punch missed its target as Captain Tall Tide ducked. He grabbed a hold of Mallow's arm and pulled with all of his strength. The female Majin flew through the air and crashed through the hull of the beached pirate ship. "Time to teach ya some manners ya rude little twerp."

Mallow turned head in the ships rubble to see the Captain twist and remove his deadly hooked appendage. He dropped it in the rubble and kicked open a nearby chest revealing some sort of futuristic looking blaster. "Found this beauty on a deadmans's hand when we scavenged an old battlefield."

Roni had beaten the unsuspecting pirate unconscious. He stood up victorious until he remembered the other pirate he had been fighting earlier. He jumped out of the way from the oncoming sword slash.

Roni took advantage of the off balance pirate and jumped into the air and dropkicked him in his sword carrying shoulder. The pirate spun from the hard kick throwing his sword in the process. "Brat! I don't need a blade to kill you!"

The pirate dropped into a hand to hand fighting stance and waved his hand towards Roni. Taking the challenge Roni exploded from his spot right towards the pirate.

Roni jumped into the air, kicking the pirate square in the side of his face and sending him flying through the air and skidding to a stop on the ground. The pirate tried to get back to his feet to continue his fight but unconsciousness overtook him.

KABLAST!

A ball of energy flew past Roni and exploded into a nearby tree on the forests edge. Roni turned in time to see Nodal and Mallow sprinting in opposite directions from the source. "WHAT WAS THAT?" Roni yelled after the two.

"RUN!" Nodal yelled back in a fit of panic.

From the gaping hole in the hull, Captain Tall Tide stepped out of his no longer sea worthy ship. He aimed his blaster gun toward the unsuspecting Roni.

"It's just like shooting fish in a barrel."

Thanks for running. I gotta say, I'm impressed at your level of commitment to this quest. A lot of new QM's just abandon their first quest after the initial run nowadays.
I like the effort and details you're putting into the action scenes. If you want to learn how to write a somewhat stronger action scene though, look to Somnius. He's decent with fights, but I wouldn't take him as a role model for character interaction. That's more Mini's, the guy who runs Boruto Quest, thing.
