Welcome back to Uruk-hai Quest!

The new batch of Orcs and Goblins arrived from the pit. One by one they are armed and sorted. Why the fuck do they smell like rotting pig shit...who knows all you know is that they are only pawns to further your goals. Your new commander, Finch has been sorting everyone into their new respective roles. The Goblins seem content not being thrown into battle as over glorified meat-shields by doing manual labor. The nearby Goblin tribes have been contacted and their Chiefs will be arriving in two days. The Wildmen however have already arrived. Their Chief stands before you. "And why should we join you in this war? You're nothin', but a small village in the woods with meager supplies at best, Orc. We used to stand with yer former master Saruman, he only led us to death. Now me people be starvin' in the cold. What do you have to offer me and me people?"

Hardship and work. That is all I offer, but from those two simple things will come security, food and a stinkin' chance to get back at the realms of men once we've regained our power! Do you just want to wallow in the mountains and hills feasting off another or the slime off a rock? Of course not! I'm offering a chance to take your future in your own hands without having to bend the knee to some horse fucker or some prissy king! What say you Chieftain?

This name suits you. "Bring all your people in. We ave' work to do."

We should atleast sent scouts north, along the mountains and other party to see what remains of Isengard.
>>
I'll let this sit over night. I need to sleep and we'll get started tomorrow.
>>
>>1243231
Time to upgrade that pasture, also do the scouting around the southern bits near those rivers.

Also in the meantime I'd like to see the farm come up or at least some way of getting more scrap so we cna make something better than a hunk of iron for a sword.
>>
>>1243297
Actually with that many humans under us, we need that farm asap.
So lets sent people to gather wood and start building it, and then sent the scouts.
>>
>>1243231
We should ask more about the past. Why are Orcs and Uruk's so rare?

What were our predecessors failings, were they too soft? Did they eat too much and fight too little? Did they lack organization or did they come short in the savagery department? Was there too much backstabbing or too little?

You order in some Goblins and tell them to send some of their own to scout the surrounding area to forage and learn information. The scum nod and saunter out of your hut. Supplies are low and you're forced to dole food out in meager portions. Hopefully they find something of use.
Meanwhile you order the new humans to start working on new pastures. The humans brought their own fur tents so building new homes won't be an issue for a while. The goblin chiefs will be here in two days time.

You take this chance to visit "the insurance" itself. You walk up and the child is frightened.
"P-please don't beat me! I've done ye asked!" Pitiful creature. You think of what to do with it. You could keep it how it is as a slave, or food...or maybe even a fighter. He would be a meatshield at best. You give him a knife and tell him to get ready. He hesitates and runs off to the armory. You form a raiding party and set them off to the nearest town. They should be back with the spoils of war soon. You go back to your hut and sit on your throne. Much is to be done in the coming days. For now you should just wait for the scouting party to return.

Scrap is fine and all, but you'll need something more in the coming days. You tell the goblin scum to begin carving into the mountain. All you can do now is wait before the long dark of the storm. You sit down and think to yourself about how you got here. Only half a week prior you were just a lowly grunt that didn't even have a name. then BAM you're chief. Enough thinking about the past it's time for war. You head over to the forge, the upgrades are still in progress. You head over to the goblin "in charge" of the forge. You tell him to get the best scrap he can gather. A new Chief needs a new weapon after all.

Your slumber is awoken by Finch bursting into your quarters.
"Boss da scouts ave' returned, not as you sent em'."
What is this scum talking about? You travel outside to see the mangled bodies of the former scouts. Their faces have been torn off and most of their limbs are missing or can no longer be considered...limbs.
"One of da scouts ame' back draggin' the otha two, he died when e' got ere'."
You tell them to drag them to the corpse hole for food. This bodes well...
You take a closer look at one of the goblin corpses, it looks like a blade cut into him, what looks to be an infection spread through his body, black streaks flow from the wounds and further into the body. Necrosis has set in his chest is already caving in.
Yummy.

Some Orcs carry the dead goblin to your local Bonesaw. He's taken up shop in the Chiefs hut, but hey you're not complaining. You head to the back to find the mad uruk. And there he is doing his...oh god what is he doing. He seems to already have one of the dead goblins. He see's you walk in.
"Ah! Welcome Chief Kurr'z, didn't expect to see you here today I didn't!"
You shake your head and motion to the dead goblin.
"Ah, yes one of the dead! Yes, yes lemme take a looksy!"
He shoves the other dead goblin off the table and starts cutting into it.
He looks intrigued then very very spooked.
"T-this can't be possible it can't!"
He looks at you with very worried eyes.
"This was done by a morgul blade it was."
You shrug.
"Chief. We got a Wraith on the loose we do."
You ask what a wraith is. The Bonesaw looks dumbfounded.
"They'd normally be one of them ghostie thingies they would, but these ones be enslaved to Sauron they were. This is very bad-" His eyes slightly perk up.
"-or goods."

Alright writing...this may take awhile as I forgot to transfer the wraiths character sheet to my notes

You gather your hunting party and set out into the woods. You make Finch in charge in case the Goblin Chiefs arrive before you're back. This may take some time...

It takes a few hours, but arrive to a patch of wood shrouded in mist, an eerie wind rises and it looks as though something unseen is moving through the mist in a ponderous fashion. You warband is visibly frightened, but you tell them to steady. There's only one of them and 58 of you. You all march into the deadwood, every sound seems muffled, including your own thoughts. One of the wildmen speaks up.
"This doesn't bode well...I can't even ear' me own thoughts, it's like a curse is upon this place." The party starts murmuring to themselves. You keep them in line. As you go deeper into the forest less things start to show signs of life. The It becomes clearly visible when you reach a line of tree's that on one side have discolored leaves and on the other side...nothing. In fact the only plant life still on the other side is a hoard of dead trees and moss. The further you go the more muffled things become. The mist also starts to swirl and twist around you, almost as if it's trying to drag you in. You come to a clearing in the wood. A black rock sits at the center. Suddenly the sound in the world is restored, but only for a moment as a piercing shriek fills the air followed by the sound of wind and snapping twigs. You all run into the clearing and brace yourself on the rock in the center. A voice rings out from everywhere around you.
"Gijak agh darkneukuk shal avhe deadwood jiak ukhall feaukav par avhiuk nighav
Then a Shadow breaks forth from the stone and lets forth a shriek of pure terror. Even your will falters before this noise of dread.

You think on your feet. And jump up to meet the Wraith and shove your hand into its hood grabbing what you think is its neck. You force it to its knees almost without effort. You use your sheer force to try and make it submit, it's response to this is ramming its fist into your chest sending you flying into the dead field.
Its shrill voice screams into the area.
"Jiak ukubmiav mausan liwo avo avhe goth wriavhun shal flak, jiak feaukav avhiuk nighav"
It then lets a cloud of blacken shadow around itself knocking several warriors away. The Goblin skirmishers fire their short bows into the Wraith. The arrows seems to pass right through the cloak as if nothing is under those robes.

You regain your composure and sprint towards the rock. You jump atop of it and reinforce your will upon it. It takes a slight step back and attacks you with its blade. You have it collide with your Chieftain Cleaver. The Cleaver shakes and the vibrations echo through your body. The Wraith turns its head up to face you. You break the lock of arms and slice the Wraith through the middle. A Dark light explodes out of the apparent wound and writhes the surrounding area in it. It takes form into a blue eye and words scream into your mind.
"UI MUBULLAT GOTH GIVEUK AVHIUK GIFAV AVO LAT AUK NAUK-WARD O' LEUKUKAS NI RO MORGOAVH!"
The eye disappears and the Wraith is kneeling on the rock. It sheaths its sword and whispers to you.
"Ul greaav auga hauk given jiak avo lat"
The warband looks absolutely astonished and start chanting your new name.
"All hail Chief Kurr'z, Lord of Wraiths!"

When we get back, we need to celebrate. 1 pint of grog for us, but none more. We need not emulate our path to success.
>>
>>1253586
Agreed, honestly I would love to just skip the grog all together, maybe I'm overly paranoid but I would rather not risk going down that path...
>>
>>1253594
At any celebration, there's always going to be that one fuckhead who makes you drink. Why not get it done and over with? Just have a single pint and slowly sip at it over the course of the exuberance.
>>
ALRIGHT WE'RE BACK I'm writing your return now. Also what are thou choices for Kurr'z?
>>
>>1253638
Check on progress while gone, and prepare for celebration.

>>1253640
Well there's now 1 day before all the buildings are complete and the Goblin Chiefs will be there within the hour

>>1253647
Get to know the wraith, and introduce him to the village.

You arrive back at the village with your entire party intact. Finch looks a bit angry you survived, but is also a bit relieved that he won't have to do most of the work. Your warband disbands in favor of drink and food (which is running quite a bit low) and Finch returns back to the hut. The rest of the village however is fixed on the cloaked mass that follows closely behind you. It doesn't seem to walk, but instead lightly float above the ground, small wisps of shadow flow from under its cloak. You walk into your hut and take a well rested sit upon your throne. Finch is sitting on a chair on the far end of the hall and the Nazgul has taken up residence at your side. You wait for the Chiefs to arrive.

Hours later the doors swing open. A band of about 15 heavily armored Goblins storm into the hall with two even more armored Goblins following suit. They both carry the flag of a single mountain with a great eye looming overhead. They look snarky until they notice the thing at your side.
They're taken aback at the sight before them. Recognizing the thing at your side they speak.
"This is a trick I'm sure of it Chief-" that last word seemed squeezed out of his mouth as if he wanted to say something fouler.
"-it is impossible for one of THEM to still be alive. The Dark Lord was diminished long ago! It should be destroyed!"
The other Goblin Chief shouts a quick, "Yeah!" in agreement. The Wraith doesn't move.

You stand up causing the Goblins to step back slightly. You start to speak.
"Whetha' or not my..."attendant" is real or othawise is inconsequential to you. You ave' come today to bargain. I will offer you two choices. Submit or be subjugated. Est' assured knowin' that your forces will be forced to bear the brunt of my army. While of course, some may be enlisted, it will only be a minority. And if it need be a show of powa'...well..-" You growl. "-my attendant and me would be happy to show our prowless." You grin at them.
They look taken aback. How the fuck is an Uruk so well spoken. Doesn't matter as they call bullshit, their forces number in the thousands and you only have almost half of a couple hundred. They start laughing. And compliment you on the costume you set up who ever is in the robes beside you, but their faces quickly sour and they pull out their weapons. Their escort follows suit. Your "Attendant" then springs to life and grabs one of the Chiefs by the neck in an instant.
"Then iav iuk your choice avo mat leukukas ni
The Nazgul then lets out a horrid screech that seems to terrify the Goblins. He drops the Goblin Chief and the scum scrambles to stand up in a panic. The host of Goblins start to waver. You walk up to the Chiefs, they scramble back. You smile.
"That is my offa, take it or die."
They then drop to their knee's and swear vassalage to you.

You try and gauge the Nazgul's motives. It simply tells you that its Dark Lord has found use of you and that it is bound to you until you die or your use has been spent. Huh.

Several days pass and the mines are finally completed giving you access to something other than melted down farming tools. This can also function as a fortress embedded within the mountain itself with time. The first batch of supplies from your newly acquired vassals arrived. And as an added bonus a new batch of Orc and Goblin have arrived and are being sorted into their respected rolls as you think. The raiding party has also returned with loot.
Orc relations with the Dunlendings is also fairly stable maybe with the exceptions that some of the goblins have been taken to scaring the children whenever possible. The village has grown and so has the devastation in the surrounding area. Due to all the coal plumes and frequent chopping of trees the nearby land has an ashen and sickly look to it. Good.
As you ponder a horn is heard blaring in the distance. An arrow whizzes out of the treeline to almost strike an Orc resting on a hammock. Then several riders clad in the armor of Rohan storm out of the forest and onto the camp. An Goblin watchman lets loose a foul sounding blast of noise from his horn and the village is awoken with Orcs, Goblins, and Men taking up arms to defend their "home". A man on a white horse frolics out of a formation of heavily armored horsemen.
"Ah! So these are the foul creatures that have been raiding our villages. Hmmph what foul things. Send them to the abyss!"
The riders are now charging the palisades.
You only have a group of Goblin skirmishers with you. The rest of the village is running towards the gate.

Let it be known that in the Fourth Age of Man, during the rise of the Mad Uruk, Kurzz, the great horsemen of Rohan had been held back by only three dozen goblins, a wraith and an Uruk.

Scholars across Middle Earth still ask themselves if this Kurrz was but a simple Uruk, or the Dark-Lord himself incarnate.

The horselords charge forward confident in their abilities to rid to rid the world of you. You dig your feet into the ground and prepare for the oncoming storm. They crash through the fence you call a gate and except an easy fight. What they'll get is a slaughter. You immediately duck down and sweep your cleaver to the side. Your blade collides with several horse legs and their riders fall to the ground either crushed or broken. You then grab onto one of the oncoming horses and pull yourself up. The rider is surprised but that won't help him as you bite deeply into the poor fools neck killing him. You then take your cleaver and jam it into the horses skull. When it tumbles you take your chance to jump off into the courtyard. Backed up with a small contingent of orcs and goblins. There's a pile of dead horses and men piled up at the entrance acting as a second gate of corpses.
>killed 5 riders of rohan

You shove the hilt of your cleaver into the ground and await for these cunts to make it through their former friends. They break through almost instantly. You raise your cleaver and look strait into the princes eyes and smile. Then a scream pierces the air and a black blur leaps into the hoard of horses slaughtering whoever comes across its path. The Prince enraged runs strait towards you lance raised. You're taking this prissy bitch head on. You brace yourself before this cunts lance. He's galloping towards you at full speed and his lance to connects...only to be broken in two. This knocks him off his horse. Before you say pride and confidence in his eyes. Now you see fear. Cleaver raised in hand you do a full sprint towards this young brat. You bring it down only to get repaid for your troubles with a sword to the gut. You stagger back clutching the wound. His eyes light up and he brings the sword down again. This time it cleaves your arm almost in half. You howl in pain. The Wraith comes to your aid, but not soon enough before the Prince knocks you out with a well placed whap to the noggin'.

Darkness takes you. And you see the stars and lights of the sky rush past you. You blink and you have lived the lives of 1,000 men. Time has no more meaning to you. You blink and I give you a hamburger. You blink and find yourself in a white timeless room. You see a disheveled man with no feet and a crown around his neck surrounded in chains.
Words enter your mind.
"Your life doeuk noav mubarum katu mimba ro avhe wizard saruthsi. Now go foravh agh thrak ruinaavion avo avhe world ro men"
You then shoot out of the room and all the things that have been done and will be done flash before your eyes.
You awaken in a cell with the Prince look at you.
"You did well to drive us off, Orc, but we have YOU. And that's all we need."
