> SUPER STAR DESTROYER EXECUTOR <

As you go up in the elevator, F4 decided to dampen the jovial mood by being his usual self. “You realize that this was far too easy, correct? Lord Vader isn't just going to willy-nilly hand over command of a Super Star Destroyer to someone as unproven as you, Admiral. I feel that perhaps he has something in store for you.”

You glare at F4. “Sometimes I wonder why Tellstar even bothered to try and retrieve you.”

“Considering Tellstar and the other corvettes highly value your opinion, maybe your grief at losing me of all things was enough to convince her,” he says simply.

“Listen you metal toilet, I've-”

Prosecutor clears her throat. Right, she came with you too. Of course. What's an Admiral without a dutiful Secretary. “Admiral. I should remind you that we are meeting with Lord Vader.” Right, right. You rub your gloved hands together, then place them squarely at your side. Good, play the dutiful subordinate. Someone who knows what they're doing. People who know too much get promoted to their rightful spots after all. And this will be a clear victory for you. No more sleeping in that rustic Victory-class. Today, you will take command of SSD Ravager! You grin, then let the doors slide open once you get to bridge level.

The three of you move in to see Lord Vader in talks with Admiral Piett and another familiar face over hologram. “... and I feel that with the current situation, Lord Vader.” He scratches his short trimmed grey beard, a light scowl on his face. “My Fleet cannot move to support Death Squadron at this time. We're spread thin trying to defend the Corellian system. Ever since we lost Mon Cala and with Kuat also under threat, I've had to divert more of my Starship Girls to its defense. And... my oh my.” He folds his arms, looking to you. Lord Vader and Admiral Piett turn to you. “Look what the Academy dragged out.”

You smile. Your favorite instructor. “Admiral Daas Reike. I thought I'd seen the last of you stamping failures on exams on Carida. I see you're in command of a Fleet of your own.”

He nods. “More like several at this point considering the situation... Admiral.” He smirks admirably at you. “I see you've made a fine name for yourself.” Admiral Daas Reike, one of the few instructors at the Imperial Academy that you actually respected enough to learn things from. He was aggressive, he was stern, and the one time he caught you cheating he allowed it. Then the next day he edited the test himself so the exploit was gone. He didn't mind that you were cheating through the system.

If anything, he encouraged it.

Lord Vader says, “Admiral Reike. Death Squadron will commit itself to the defense of the Core Systems, once it can secure our vital positions in the Outer Rim.”

“Very good, Lord Vader.” Admiral Reike bows to that.

Lord Vader turns to you. “Admiral. Commander Fiennes transmitted the information to me about the Worldship on Mon Cala. Seeing how recent it is, we are now more confident that we can assault the planet and eliminate the Vong presence.” You smile. “However, your task is not done just yet.”

“Oh?” You tilt your head. “What do you mean, Lord Vader?”

“I am sending you to the Core Systems. Admiral Reike has personally requested reinforcements. And I feel your Starship Girls fleet will suit him nicely,” says Lord Vader.

“And what about the Ravager?” you ask.

“What of it?” he asks. You blink. Is he- is he serious? He glares at you. Admiral Piett looks to you, silently shaking his head. Drop the subject he's telling you silently.

> “It's just, I was assured I would take command as reward for my service.”
> “Nothing, Lord Vader.”
> “We had a deal. I take command of the Ravager if I come back with my recon information.”

You shake your head. “Nothing, Lord Vader. Though, I will request that I be provided with some remodel kits as well for my girls. Seeing as how we will be moving on to bigger and better things in the Core Systems. They'll need some way to catch up to Admiral Reike's fleet.”

Lord Vader is silent for a few seconds, then looks to Admiral Piett. “How many can you spare, Admiral Piett?”

“At least four, my Lord,” says Piett. “I will have them transferred to the Admiral's inventory post haste.”

“Good.” He looks to you. “Admiral. I expect you to depart immediately and rally with Admiral Daas Reike's fleet at Kuat. Understood?”

“Yes, my Lord,” you say quickly. You suppose you'll have to swallow your pride for now on the issue of your own Super Star Destroyer. Prosecutor appears to be quite chuffed at it, but does not voice dissent. F4, being a droid, can't look like anything except scrap metal. “I shall leave immediately.” You bow to him, then turn around and walk away back into the elevator.

You sigh. Prosecutor frowns. “I'm sorry, Admiral. I know you wanted command of that SSD badly.”

“It's fine,” you say. “At least we have the remodel kits. And at least we have the ability to start remodeling some of our ships. And I believe firmly that our new post will be much less stress inducing than having to share with the Grand Admiral. You will like Admiral Reike. He's a very tough man.” In some ways, more of a father to you than your own father was. “Taught me a lot during my days in the Academy.”

“I should hope so,” says Prosecutor. “Though, you...” You look at her. “You still seem disappointed.”

So any suggestions on who we should upgrade?

I suggest.

The two CIS ships so that way we can have Rebel fighters and strikecraft which have hyperdrives which would extend our scouting range.

Resolute to give her more strikecraft from late wars clone era which has hyperdrives.

Tellstar because she will get a luck bonus which might give us more equipment and upgrade kits if we go scavenging.

so on the otherside, Redemption in which she'll get strikecraft and give her, her full armaments which she didn't have since she was a medical ship.

“I'm sure you'll cheer me up, Prosecutor.” She smiles at that response, a light blush on her face at that as she looks away. “Now look. Let's get to work on picking who is the one in need for some remodeling. Okay?” She nods at that. “Great!”

F4 whirls his dome. “This should be good.”

-

You're already bored. You sit at Prosecutor's desk looking at all of the statistics, most of which were just flying past your eyes and out the back of your head. Prosecutor is happy to stand at your side, holding more files for you.

Good sweet mercy. You look to her, then smile. She smiles back happily. You want to die.

“Have you chosen, Admiral?” she asks.

“Well, I-...” You keep on flipping through more. You're well aware that the 2nd remodel is a bit of a drastic change from their original personalities. Some changes might be slight, others more completely different from their original. Prosecutor getting a remodel would probably change a bit more. Maybe it'd get rid of that Mandalorian fangirl-ism of hers. Second remodel for either VP or Force of Commerce might make them a bit more rebellious. Ugh.

The door into Prosecutor's room opens, revealing Finalizer there with a tray of cups. “Lord Admiral! Prosecutor informed you would be working, so I took the liberty of providing you with fresh beverages to drink as you do your dark deeds!” She steps inside and immediately trips. “Ah! OH NO!”

Prosecutor catches her, then grabs the trays and immediately catches the cups. “... phew. That was close.”

“Amazing!” Finalizer blinks. “How is one such yourself blessed with such reflexes?”

“Mandalorian training!” Prosecutor places her hand proudly over her heart. “The Mandalorian Code demands one must always be ready!” You rub your nose. Ugh. She places down a cup for you at the desk. “Right, Admiral? You have four remodel kits. Who shall be remodeled?”

> PROSECUTOR AND REDEMPTION TO THE SHORTLIST

The new remodeling tubes were up and running before you even knew it. You, Prosecutor, F4, and Arc Hammer watch as the four tubes were filled with the murky blue glowing liquid. The girls inside were silhouetted, silently letting the liquids soak into their bodies. You fold your arms, watching, waiting. Come on, now. Prosecutor also watches with anticipation.

Finally... “Remodeling's done. Draining the tubes now.” Arc Hammer flips the switch, and the liquids immediately drain for the bottom of the tubes. They open up and let the girls step out.

Tellstar stumbles a little, blinking, before looking at the new Jedi robe sat on her shoulders and the Padawan braid in her hair. “Wow! Look at me! I've been remodeled, I never thought I'd be remodeled!” Resolute smiles happily. “This is great! Woooo!” She starts running around Resolute, and immediately trips before falling right into Resolute's arms.

“There we go. Lovely.” Resolute smiles. Resolute's new V-Wing and Y-Wing craft replacing her older V-19s fly around her for a few seconds before returning to their capsules.

And as for VP and Force of Commerce. They dump themselves out of their tubes. Their smart business smarts were gone now, replaced by... oh my. Force of Commerce steps forth, tipping her plaid flat cap down. Her original suit has been ripped up smartly, the sleeves completely torn off, the skirt hiked up to dangerous levels, and her blouse opened up to show a respectable cleavage. She brushes her blonde hair back, chewing on some gum. “Hm. This ain't so bad. Right, Vuutun?”

Vuutun Palaa rises up. Her smart business suit has also been ripped and torn up strategically. Her skirt has a long slit up the side of her leg for freedom of movement. Her sleeves as well are gone, exposing all of her arms up to her shoulders. Her blazer and blouse have been opened up to reveal her chest, covered only by bandaged wrappings. Her trenchcoat is now a leathered black, with a torn up black cap on her head. She pulls on a black surgical mask over her mouth, with an Alliance Firebird decaled on it. “Hmph. Not so bad, FOC.” She cracks her knuckles, the X-Wings and Y-Wings flying around the two of them.

“No need to thank me,” you say proudly. “You two are-”

“Hmph! Imps.” Force of Commerce snorts at you. Oh. “What gives you the right to order us around?” You blink, then look to Resolute and Tellstar. Resolute rolls her eyes at that. Oh come on.

“Now, now...” VP steps in front of Force of Commerce, folding her arms beneath her generous chest. “I'm sure the Admiral just wants us to say thanks. So thanks for the remodeling.” She pulls her mask down, revealing her smug grin. “I'd didn't think you'd let us turn into a bunch of bad girls but here we are.”

“Well, I'm hoping your discipline stays as it was. You all earned it after all.” Have mercy. You look down at her chest for the slightest second, then back at her eye. She snorts, folding her arms before tilting her head to the door. “And hey, remember. Bad girls don't get desserts.”

“Hmph, desserts are for kiddies!” says Force of Commerce. “Come on, VP! Let's go find someone we can annoy.” Vp grunts, following Force of Commerce to the door. “Toodles, Admiral!” They wave goodbye, with VP winking at you as she goes, a sashay to her hips as she walks. Hate to see them go, love to watch them leave. Hehe.

Resolute walks up to you. “I do not know why you waste your time with Separatist vessels.”

“Hey, everyone is equal in this Fleet,” you say. Some more than others. You continue with, “Besides, they're important. They got their Strikecraft, they have the guns, they're like you in a way.” Resolute quirks her brow, taking offense to that clearly.

Tellstar says, “Well, thank you for believing in me, Admiral!” She hugs you quickly. “I never thought in a million years I would get remodeled! I won't let you down!”

“I know you won't,” you say. You check the time on your PDA. “Oh dear. It's almost time for dinner. Arc Hammer, you-”

She flips up her data goggles as she munches on some chips. “Leave.”

Okay then. You, Prosecutor, F4, Tellstar, and Resolute walk out of her temporary home. “I heard we are going to be coming under the command of your former instructor, Admiral Daas Reike.” Resolute quirks her brow, curious. “I've only heard passing mention of him during his service in the Clone Wars.”

“He's a great man,” you say.

“Is he?” asks Prosecutor. “How so?”

“He and I have something in common: we love to win. Admiral Reike is a man who understands what it takes to win sometimes.” Resolute nods at your explanation, folding her arms at that. “You'll get to meet him once we land at Kuat. I'm sure the two of you will hit it off nicely.”

“I suppose,” she says. “I am skeptical though. Most Imperial Officers I've had to deal with were not exactly like you, Admiral.” Of course not, you actually know how to be subtle. Men who can understand the language of women are the ones who get to go home covered in panties and makeup. “I guess I will have to take your word for it though. Goodness knows what kind of man would teach someone like you.”

“If that's meant to be an insult, you are backfiring horrifically,” you state. “Admiral Reike is a good man. You'll see.”

With that though, you head to dinner.

-

“So we're not transferring to a Super Star Destroyer?” asks Black Hawk. You shake your head over a plate of Prosecutor's fresh grilled steak with peas and mashed potatoes. Better than the slop and gruel you suppose as you all eat in the canteen. “Aw...” Black Hawk and Agility deflate. “Me and Agility were going to have a race to see who could get one end to the other the quickest.”

“Please, we all know the answer to that,” says Acheron. “Agility is lighter, smaller, therefore she's faster in space.”

“We weren't going to race in space Missile Missy!” shouts Agility. “We were going to traverse the entire ship from the inside!”

“What about the crew?” asks Redemption.

“They just better not get in my way!” Agility harumphs, folding her arms. “Else I'll run them over like grass!”

Force of Commerce chuckles, slouching back in her seat and kicking her legs up onto the table. “You couldn't run over grass if you had a lawnmower, Agility.” Agility pouts furiously at Commerce. Redemption carefully takes Commerce's legs and sets them down politely below the table.

“Is that a challenge!?” shouts Agility.

“No, it's a fact.” VP leans over onto the table. “A small girl like you couldn't even bring a person my size down.”

“Did none of you learn anything from Scarif? There've been wilder things.”

Agility grins. “Yeah! That means I could totally tackle you down, Commerce! You too, VP!” The two ships simply roll their eyes at that. “You'll see! You watch your backs!” She points to her own eyes, then at them. “I'll get you when you least expect it! And then we'll see who the little boat is! You... boats!”

Resolute leans forward onto the table, looking to you. “Admiral. What do you know of the Battle of Scarif? I assume you studied it at the Academy.”

“Only the official story. The Death Star wiped out the Rebel Fleet there, then onwards the Rebels were wiped out at the Battle of Yavin IV. Sort of a beginning of the end,” you explain. To be quite frank, you really aren't interested in learning from past battles. You know of them, you certainly can go on and on about the Battle of Coruscant simply because they've drilled it into your head again and again, not to mention Yularen's Marg Sabl at Ryloth.

“Well regardless, I am going to find a way to knock those girls down!” says Agility. “Just you wait.” The two Separatist ships chuckle, smiling smugly at Agility.

After that, dinner went by relatively smoothly. The two Separatist ships made their way to the door, when Agility suddenly took a tray and slid it in from behind them on the floor. VP slips on it, falling over backwards onto Force of Commerce, crushing her. “Ow! Oh...”

“Yes!” Agility pumps her arms up. “I did it! Take that you big lunks!”

VP sits up, glaring at Agility. “You little rat! I'll-” She looks down at Commerce, who looks flat as a pancake, her eyes unfocuzed and dazed. “Force of Commerce, are you okay!?”

“Hey, did you hear about the new T-16s, they're lovely,” Commerce says in a stupor.

VP picks up the still dazed Commerce. “I'll get you!” She throws Commerce over her shoulder then starts running after Agility. Agility, being Agility, simply runs circles around her. VP tries ineffectually to grab at her to no avail.

Ugh. Those three.

“Ahaha! Catch me if you-” Redemption suddenly catches Agility by the ear. “Owowowow!” Redemption also takes VP's ear, dragging them both close.

“Now, girls. You're in the presence of the Admiral.” She brings them both to you. “Say your apologies.”

They bow their heads. “Sorry,” the both of them say. Commerce is still dazed from being crushed by VP.

You, Prosecutor, and F4 come into the bridge of the Lucifuge. There you see Commander Fiennes at his post. “Admiral!” He smiles at you. “Glad to see you nice and well.”

“Good to hear you did your job, Commander,” you say simply. Commander Fiennes beams at that, happy as a lothcat. “It's to be commended. Perhaps I may even discuss it with Admiral Reike when we arrive at Kuat.”

“You flatter me, sir,” he says. “As you can see, everything is going well on the bridge. We are simply awaiting your order to jump into hyperspace.” Right. “Admittedly, I am not familiar with Admiral Daas Reike myself but I hear he is a very fierce man. Not as wasteful as Admiral Figuroa nor as robotic as General Kalani.”

“Better than that.” You fold your arms. So then. “On to Kuat, Commander.”

“On my mark! Make the jump!” calls Commander Fiennes. “Mark!” The switch is hit forward.

On to Kuat.

VP and Commerce lack those traits. They're just edgy douchebags now. In fact, I think they're the only starship girls I dislike as of now.

Finalizer is Chuuni.

VP and Commerce were just loyal to the sep cause.

They're probably just angry about having gone from ships that lost one war where they thought they were fighting for liberty and good against evil to ships that also lost a second war where they actually were fighting for liberty and good. And they're now working for the irredeemably evil organisation that engineered their defeats in both of those conflicts. I'd be peeved.

>>1221008
Shipgirls weren't first discovered at Kuat, they were first practically built at Kuat thanks to the help of Kuat Drive Yards research into the crystals which spawned from dying Yuuzhan Vong Princesses. Arc Hammer was actually one of the first built here.

As for useful mods, maybe you'll see tomorrow.

Kuat. The birthplace of the Starship Girl. When the first scientists retrieved the first Life Crystals, they ran their experiments here in the shipyards of Kuat. Not as impressively large as the rings of Ringo Vinda, but certainly more practical. Kuat is the spiritual home of all Starship Girls, no matter where they're hatched. And today, you would be taking a new garrison assignment there alongside your old instructor, Admiral Daas Reike.

You adjust your collar a little bit as you, Commander Fiennes, F4, and all of your Starship Girls walk through the docking port. The Lucifuge had docked uneventfully at one of Kuat's shipyards. And Admiral Reike had promised he'd meet you personally to introduce you to the station. You tip down your hat as well, making sure everything is in order. “Admiral.” Prosecutor looks at you, confused. “You seem nervous.”

“I want to make a good impression,” you say. “I haven't seen Admiral Reike in years, I have to look and act my best.”

“You don't seem to care about that around us,” says Resolute.

“Of course not. You always see me at my best,” you say simply. Resolute rolls her eyes. You look back to the Separatist ships in the back. “And you two, don't embarrass me or no dessert.” They snort, looking away. Ah, they'll hate it regardless. You walk forward to the large blast door, and let it open up for you. Right, deep breath.

Standing there, tall, with completely grey hair, and with a near permanent scowl was Admiral Daas Reike. Next to him was a much shorter girl, actually around Prosecutor's body type and size. She must be an Acclamator as well. Except her Open Circle Fleet livery is gone, replaced with an Imperial emblem pinning back her black hair, and with an Imperial uniform topped out by pantyhose and knee high boots. Her sleeves are rolled up, with what appears to be a whip wrapped up and hooked onto her belt. She adjusts her glasses slightly when you walk in.

You all stand at attention, saluting. “Admiral Reike. Reporting for duty.”

He walks up to you, towering over you. Then he snickers. “You don't need to salute me, son. We're the same rank now.” He offers his hand, which you immediately shake gratefully. “Congratulations on your promotion, son. I'm sorry I couldn't acknowledge it earlier.”

“That's quite alright, we're all busy these days.” You smile. You already feel right at home. “I see Defiant is...” Defiant glares at you, her arms folded. “Exactly as I remember her.” You blink, then motion your arm to your ships. “These are my Starship Girls. My secretary Prosecutor, then Resolute, Finalizer, Redemption, Acheron, Black Hawk, Tellstar, Agility, Vuutun Palaa, Force of Commerce, and finally Arc Hammer.”

Admiral Reike smiles at them. “It's nice to meet you all. I am Admiral Daas Reike. This is my secretary, Acclamator-II 'Defiant'. Welcome to Kuat.”

You nod. “Sure thing. Uh, Prosecutor.” You turn to her with a smile. “You can go ahead and take the girls to the canteen. Defiant here produces some excellent food. I think you two will get along smoothly.”

Prosecutor walks up to Defiant, smiling. “Um. Hi.” She holds out her hand. “I'm Prosecutor. I'm an Acclamator just like you.”

Defiant glares at her.

Admiral Reike slaps Defiant upside the head. Defiant squeaks in pain, rubbing her head. “Don't be rude. Say hello.”

Defiant grumbles, holding out her hand. “Hello,” she says softly. Prosecutor smiles, shaking her hand awkwardly. Yeah. Awkward. Very awkward.

“Come.” Admiral Reike places his hand on your shoulder. “I'll give you the full tour, Admiral.” You nod, and wave goodbye to your ships. Commander Fiennes elects to stay with them for now as a chaperone. F4 follows you.

-

“Here on Kuat, KDY continuously improves what little understanding we have of what Starship Girls are,” says Admiral Reike. You walk through a tunnel, with the ceiling opened up to space. Miles and miles of shipyards are visible above you, with Star Destroyers being produced alongside TIE Fighters and TIE Bombers in the orbital factories. “And of course here we produce our regular navy ships as well. Everything from your humble Tartans to the Super Star Destroyer.”

“Do you have an SSD as your flagship?” you ask.

“The Undertaker, yes,” he says. “Unfortunately, it's not here. It's over in Corellia. My current flagship for now is Redeemer. As for SSD Starship Girls, no. I try not to waste resources on huge hogs like those. Admirals like to believe an SSD Starship Girl will bring you fame and glory, when in reality they mostly come out once a month for a battle then they sit on your couch munching and freeloading. Only thing they're good for is experimenting on whether or not they can reproduce sexually.”

“... can they?” you ask hopefully.

Admiral Reike snorts. “Wouldn't you like to know.” You laugh a bit. You actually do. “Honestly, it's classified. And I'm glad it is. I'd rather Admirals of Starship Girls fleet did not waste their time trying to put a baby in their girls. We have a war to win after all.”

“Of course, of course. So how is your Fleet?” you ask.

“Twenty girls total. You remember Defiance of course.” You nod. “I have five corvettes, five cruisers, five Star Destroyers, three carriers, two Interdictors. I should introduce you to them soon.” He motions up the tunnel, pointing out a particular Space Station. “That will be where you and your girls will be stationed.”

“Nice, one of the Level 5 Space Stations I see,” you say.

“Indeed.”

You smirk a bit. “So, when do we get to the gift shop?”

“Hmph, still a joker I see.” He grunts.

“So you're saying there's no gift shop.”

“Sorry, your corvettes will have to go home empty-handed,” he says simply. The three of you stop. “Anyway, Admiral. I will say. It is nice to have a former student work with me. I was worried Lord Vader would send me some buckethead of an Officer.”

F4 beeps. “And you'd be right.” You knock him on the side.

“And I was worried I'd have to cart you around in a wheelchair, old man.” The two of you laugh, young man to old man. He folds his arms, smiling at you. “Seriously, Admiral Reike. I won't let you down. I've come pretty far from my Academy days.”

“Let's hope so.” He pats your shoulder. “Because, I am going to set up a simulation spar between my Fleet and yours.” … oh? “We'll see who has the better Fleet, alright? You nervous?”

“No, no. I assure you, Admiral. My ships are very well-trained,” you say quickly. “They'll do nicely against you.”

“Good. We'll do a six versus six. Pick your best.” He checks his PDA, smirking. “I'll make things easy on you. This is my roster. My Acclamator-IIs Defiant and Implacable, my Venator-class Star Destroyers Vigilance and Liberator, my Arquitens light cruiser Hand of Justice, and my Quasar-Fire carrier Flurry.” He pats your arm, smiling. “Looking forward to it.” He walks past you, away.

Ahahaha...

Oh jeez.

-

-

The girls munch on the remainder of their lunch as you brief them. “They want a simulation spar with us?” asks Finalizer. She stands up, pushing the table forward a bit into the Separatist ships. “How dare they!? I'll wipe their smug grins off their faces!”

Force of Commerce and VP force the table back as well, standing up. “They underestimate us!?” yells VP.

“We'll destroy them!” yells Force of Commerce. You cough, clearing your throats. You point up.

Standing on the catwalk above is Defiant. On either side of her is the similar looking Implacable, and the very mean-looking version of Resolute: Liberator. Imperialized Republic ships. Very professional. Very intimidating if they want to be. They turn and continue walking down the catwalk.

Nice view though up those skirts, you will say.

Prosecutor raises her hand, asking the only real question that needs to be asked. “How skilled are they?”

“Very skilled. Admiral Reike trained me after all and I left when my time was up. Imagine what he's done with these girls,” you say.

Finalizer bangs her fists on the table. “Nothing doing! I will show them what a Star Destroyer can do! As a scion of the dark side, it is my duty to defend my Admiral's pride!” She steps forth to you. “Send me in alone and I will gladly defeat all six of them by myself, Admiral!”

>>
> “Calm down, Finalizer. I need to put together a team around you.”

“Just calm down, Finalizer.” You motion for her to sit down. All the other Shipgirls look quite nervous. Well, except for Arc Hammer, but that's because you only ever deploy her when you're desperate. And you're not so desperate right now. “Now listen. I need to put together a team around Finalizer. She is a sure pick.”

“Who do we choose then?” asks Force of Commerce.

“I will figure that out as we go. Come on, let's get to the simulation rooms. Get some practice in quick.” Everyone except Arc Hammer stands up and hurries out. “Come on, come on, let's go.” Commander Fiennes takes Tellstar's hand and leads her on. “Hurry up you-” You look to see Arc Hammer, munching on a sandwich and reading a book. “Arc Hammer. You too. Everyone or no one.”

“Oh, so I don't have to do this then, great,” she says. You take the book out of her hands, then point to the door. She grumbles, standing up and moseying on out of the door.

-

-

“Fire!” Prosecutor leads the Shipgirls in a line formation barrage, wiping out the holo targets. The simulation room here was quite large, large enough to leave room for them to fly around in comfortably compared to the ones on Dantooine or Mygeeto. You fold your arms, watching with F4 and Commander Fiennes.

Admiral Reike steps into the room, motioning for the technicians to halt the practice. “Admiral. Are you ready?”

“I suppose so,” he says. You activate the microphone. Right, time to choose your roster.

Force of Commerce is a little peeved at not being selected, but she's more understanding once Vuutun Palaa is there to be part of the team. Finalizer will be the lynchpin for the team, possessing both lots of strikecraft as well as firepower and armor. Vutuun Palaa will be here secondary. Both possess enough guns to seriously threaten Reike's fleet, but not the mobility. Agility and Black Hawk will form the anti-fighter screen. Prosecutor and Resolute will be the line in between. “We won't let you down!” Prosecutor salutes you. “I promise, Admiral!”

“Make me proud.” The six are lowered down into the simulation chambers. Commander Fienne's hands you a headset to talk with your girls. Reike is in the observation tower on the opposite side. In the chamber already were Reike's girls. Defiant and Implacable, Liberator and Vigilance, Flurry and Hand of Justice. They stand at the ready at attention, not a single bit of Open Circle Fleet livery on any of them (though Flurry is a post-war design). “Right, Admiral Reike?”

“This will be a simple match. Last team standing wins.” The simulation walls project a massive expanse of space around the girls. “We'll go on separate frequencies here, Admiral. Good luck.” With that, you can see him talk to his girls in the distance in the other tower. Defiant takes point in a wedge formation, with the Star Destroyers forming behind, Flurry in the center, and the rest in the middle.

“Line formation.” Finalizer takes point, with VP behind, Prosecutor, Black Hawk and Agility, then Resolute. The two slowest ships will have to set the formation's pace.

“Begin,” says the training tech. Reike's girls are already storming forth. Defiant and Implacable start by firing a spread of proton torpedoes for a total of eight directly at Finalizer. This is followed up by a dizzying wall of TIE Fighters and TIE Bombers, which split into three distinct groups.

Oh dear.

Anchor the rear with Prosecutor, while Agility and Black Hawk run a screen ahead of our cap ships and use their point defence weapons to eliminate strike craft and torpedoes. Finalizer VP and Resolute should form a wedge with Finalizer forwardmost so they can effectively cover each other and present maximal forward firepower.

You explain the plain quickly to them. Prosecutor takes the rear. Agility and Black Hawk screen ahead and start warding off the fighters. They fire at the initial spread of proton torpedoes, eliminating them. They get some initial kills on the fighters too, which sends the first force of TIEs back. The other two groups hang at the side of their wedge. Finalizer, VP, and Resolute form up a wedge and deploy all Strikecraft. VP's X-Wings and Y-Wings are held in reserve. The fighters storm in, taking advantage of the lack of anti-fighter escort from Reike's ships.

Still though, they're disciplined. They hold their own despite getting stung or blasted by a bomber's proton torpedoes. Defiant gestures to the other girls with hand signals. Implacable and Vigilance head left, while Flurry, Defiant, Hand of Justice, and Liberator stay put. They've broken their wedge. The two unoccupied fighter swarms range out around.

They're trying to envelope you. Bastards. VP starts deploying her X-Wing and Y-Wing squadrons. With Rebel livery and all, they fly below the formation and move to hit from the rear. And their rear is essentially Flurry. Flurry deploys a reserve squadron of TIE Fighters once she sees this. Hand of Justice as well has an ace up her sleeve. She unpacks a trio of TIE Interceptors from her sleeve, sending them out after the X-Wings backed by that reserve squadron.

Oh dear. He's quite prepared for a basic flanking attack. Finalizer, VP, and Resolute start firing away. At long range, damage is minimal. But Reike's ship respond in kind, not at them but at your corvettes. Liberator, Defiant, and Hand of Justice fire their spread of laseres. Agility and Black Hawk start evasive maneuvers. “Holy moly! That's a lot of-” Agility is hit, getting flown back. “Ow! I'm hit!”

“Agility is at half strength,” says a training tech. You tug on your collar a bit. Black Hawk and Agility have to busy themselves dodging the fire. Which means that's a hole for Reike's strikecraft to move through.

They're pushing for an envelopment as I expected, so now we pull Agility and Black Hawk back and wait for them to close more, our strike craft should keep them busy enough that our corvettes screening is less important. Once one of Reike's pincers gets close however, focus one side of the wedge's firepower on it, then smash into it with our reserve of Prosecutor, Agility and Black Hawk. With one side of the flanking manouevre defeated or driven off we can reface to fight the centre and other flank without worry of being surrounded, while the Corvette go for their Carrier.
>>
>>1224452
Corvettes going after the carrier, that's suicide!

a Venator has heavy weaponry besides fighters and bombers you know?
>>
>>1224462
Flurry is a Quasar Fire carrier. Not very well armed or armoured, it's essentially just a spacegoing hangar with a hyperdrive and shields. The Corvette's won't murder it outright but combined with our strike wings they should bring it down.

Agility and Black Hawk fall back into the formation. You watch and wait as the two wings start to close in. Vigilance and Implacable continue their long flank, firing away at the side of the wedge. “They're trying to flank!” says Prosecutor. “Attack!” She, Agility, and Black Hawk, charge into their midst. This apparently catches them by surprise. With all their TIES tied up elsewhere, they don't have any Strike Craft to protect them from faster vessels. Prosecutor and Implacable are comparable in speed and armor. But Vigilance remains strong, firing at Prosecutor. Prosecutor blown back, getting her top sheared in half.

“Prosecutor at 40% strength,” says a training tech. Prosecutor grits her teeth, then fires a spread of proton torpedoes. The torpedoes find their mark in Vigilance's side. Vigilance is sent sinking, her engines apparently blown out. She's immobilized but not disabled. Agility and Black Hawk move back with Prosecutor towards the formation, with Implacable moving to cover the now immobilized Vigilance.

The other wing tries to squeeze down on your girls. Nope. “In the name of the Dark Side! Fire!” yells Finalizer. VP, Resolute, and Finalizer all fire away at the biggest target there, Liberator. Liberator is pasted by the turbolaser fire, getting blown down first. KO'd. Defiant and Hand of Justice retreat, with Flurry turning as well. Agility and Black Hawk see this opportunity, flying in now to engage. “The initiative is ours! GO!” Finalizer starts speeding in.

VP yells out to her. “Hold it! We need to hold our formation!” Agility and Black Hawk start pelting away at Flurry, who angrily growls at them. Her reserve TIEs are still tied down by VP's X-Wings. Her Y-Wings remain at the edges, waiting for a hole in the TIE Fighter screens.

Too late. Finalizer starts plowing right into Defiant and Hand of Justice's formation.

Finalizer grins. “With pleasure!” Defiant fires a spread of torpedoes at her, which impact mightily. “Ow! Son of a-” She fires back with her own turbolaser fire, smashing Defiant and Hand of Justice's shields. They fall back, only to fall into a pincer trap set by VP's Y-Wings. The Y-Wing's swoop in, raining bombs down on them.

And to follow up, VP and Resolute come in. Flurry goes down in flames as the corvettes pelt her shields down, with no end in sight. They fire away at Defiant and Hand of Justice, blasting them to the stone age. Yes! You grin. So the student has defeated the master! With that, Implacable and Vigilance are the last ones standing.

And in short order, they're eliminated just like the rest. “Victory goes to Admiral-” The training tech taps on his microphone. “Sorry, audio issues.”

-

Finalizer beams brightly, as does VP (though she tries not to look interested in the result.) Defiant, Implacable, Vigilance, Liberator, Hand of Justice, and Flurry look rather forlorn, their clothes torn and some dust thrown on their skin. But overall, they don't appear any less professional than they normally would. Admiral Reike shakes your hand. “A fair fight. Your Star Destroyer here managed to break my lines better than I thought it would.”

“Well, consider her a lucky charm,” you say.

Admiral Reike nods. “You have a fine fleet at your disposal. I guess I'll need to reconsider how my own fleet is structured.” Flurry and Hand of Justice look down. For a second there, you could've sworn they looked terrified. “Finalizer, VP.” The two of them look at Admiral Reike. “You two did very well.”

“As expected!” VP snorts at that.

“Yes, nothing can defeat a scion of the Dark Side!” says Finalizer.

“Right.” Admiral Reike nods to you. “Girls. Fall in.” His six Starship Girls follow him out of the room.

Finalizer grins, her clothes still ripped up. But no embarrassment here, only pride and joy. “Did we make you proud, Admiral!? I did not expect us to defeat Admiral Reike so swiftly and so decisively!”

… you honestly didn't either. Hm.

Prosecutor giggles a little. “Come on. Dinner's on me.”

-

-

Commander Fiennes, yourself, and Prosecutor work up a sweat in the kitchen for the girls. A nice salad and some crispy chicken are a good reward for today. With a bit of dessert for all of them for doing well. You cook the chicken on its skin, hoping to get some crisp to it. “How's this?” you ask. Prosecutor and Commander Fiennes look over.

She presses the chicken with her finger, ignoring the flames burning around the pan. “Feels tender. Should be ready in another minute.” You nod.

Redemption pokes her head in. “How are things in here?” she asks.

“We're good, thank you, Redemption!” Commander Fiennes smiles at her. “Just sit down, we'll be ready with your dinner in a bit.” Redemption nods. While Prosecutor goes to settle the dressing, Commander Fiennes walks up to you. “You know, I must say, Admiral. You've taught the girls well if they did such damage against Admiral Reike's fleet.”

“Please.” You roll your eyes. “Way I see it, Fiennes, he's an old man staked in old traditions.”

“You're going to say that about your mentor?” he asks.

“Of course, he probably thinks I'm just a young man with beginner's luck and a big head!” you say. “Which I'm not! I'm just that good.” You pat your chest, pulling the pan off. “Now come on. Let's serve dinner.” You place the chicken down on a plate.

And with that, you take your platters out for all the girls. They all gasp at the wonders of having freshly cooked food at their new home. Dinner is served!

Prosecutor hands you this morning's reports over a cup of tea and a nice spicy omelette. “Tellstar, Agility, Black Hawk, and Force of Commerce are already out to seek out new resources today, Admiral. We expect them back past lunchtime.” You nod, good, good. “Arc Hammer is also taking the liberty to upgrade the boarding parties for myself and Resolute as well. That will be done later today too.” Right, right.

You lean back in your chair, munching down on your breakfast. Your new office was a bit more cozy than your last one. A nice view into space, good metal floors, yet very homely conditions. “Any other things I should I know about?” you ask.

“Not at the moment, those are the outstanding problems. Admiral Reike's fleets are already on combat sorties. For today, we'll be serving as reserve.” Right. “Commander Fiennes also assures me that your personal requested equipment is also being installed.” She points to the refrigerator being installed by a plucky technician. “Not to mention the Lucifuge will also be receiving interior repairs.”

“Good, good.” Today's a good day then. You kick your feet up onto your desk. Today is a day where you don't have to do anything. Hehehe... Prosecutor simply stares at you, blinking. “Well, you're dismissed, Prosecutor. I don't imagine there'll be much issue though...” Prosecutor's very concerned look very quickly dissuades that. “Is something the matter?”

“W-...” She clears her throat. “When I was cooking your breakfast today. I happened to notice Hand of Justice glaring at me from the door. A Mandalorian like myself obviously isn't scared, but it was kind of intimidating. I- is that just something Admiral Reike's ships do? They don't seem very friendly.”

Oh boy, not going in the right direction. Uh. “... some stranger I don't know anything about. But listen, I'll have a talk with her, see what's what. Alright?”

“Yes, Admiral.” Prosecutor bows to you. “Finalizer, Resolute, Redemption, and VP are now currently training in the simulation chambers if you'd like to see.”

“Sure. Let's go.” You stand up and push your chair in.

-

-

After finishing off your omelette. You watch as the four ships fire at holo targets on the other side of the chamber. Resolute and Redemption take very precise and careful bursts while VP and Finalizer simply throw everything and the kitchen sink at the targets. Exactly what you'd expect to be completely frank. Acheron watches carefully with you in the training room. “They seem quite determined,” says Acheron.

“It's because we're in the presence of a rival Starship Girl fleet,” says Prosecutor. “Resolute does not like to admit it, but she gets incredibly competitive. Not to mention the others.” Redemption is the only one who seems happy to be there to be frank.

F4 swirls his dome around, rolling up to you. “Sir.” You look down at him. He points his lens to the door. You turn to see Hand of Justice, peering at you from around the corner of the door. She squints, clutching the doorframe.

“Hand of Justice,” you say. “I was just about to talk to you. I-” You hear a very loud stomach growl. It silences all the techs and gets everyone's attention. Everybody turns to Justice.

“Are you hungry?” you ask. You fold your arms, smiling at her. “Come on, don't be shy. I don't bite.”

F4 says, “Yeah. His bark is much worse.” You kick F4, knocking him over.

Hand of Justice blinks, then slowly steps inside. Her outfit was similar to Tellstar's save for the lack of Open Circle Fleet livery. Instead her hair was done in a tight bun beneath an Imperail Officer's cap, and her uniform completely greyed out. She steps up to you, meekly. “I will admit,” she says softly. “I am starving.”

“Did you not have breakfast?” asks Prosecutor. Hand of Justice winces at that, twiddling her fingers a bit.

“N-... no. I skipped breakfast today.” You tilt your head. Hm. Refusal to make eye contact, shifting eyes, hands in constant motion. She's lying for sure. “I was helping prepare the other ships for today's sortie.”

“Why do you keep glaring at us then?” asks Acheron.

“Admiral Daas says other Starship Girls are not to be trusted,” Hand of Justice explains simply. She snorts, muttering. “You are not as disciplined as we are. Nor are you-” Her stomach growls again. She clutches her stomach, moaning a little.

Prosecutor steps up, offering her an energy bar from her bag. “Here.” Hand of Justice's eyes go wide, looking at it. She looks up at Prosecutor, who simply smiles to her. “Take it. It's okay.”

Justice blinks, slowly reaching out for it. Her hand shakes violently, before she catches it with the other hand and brings it to the side. She shakes her head. “No thank you. I-... I'm not hungry,” she whimpers. You quirk your brow. “I should go.” She bows to you all. “Welcome to Kuat.” She steps back, hurrying out of the room.

You see her turn a corner. Aha. You jog on down. “Hey! Justice!” You turn around the corner to see Justice holding her stomach, grumbling. “Hand of Justice!” you call. She stops, turning to you with a very angry glare. You step up to her. “Come on. I know you're lying. You're hungry.”

“No I'm not,” she says. “I just have indigestion.”

“From what?” you ask. She blinks, looking down. “Exactly. Come on.” You hold out the energy bar to her. “Eat something.” She shakes her head. “It's okay.”

She shakes her head again. “No. I'm fine. Honest.”

“You're not,” you say. You quirk your brow. You're formulated a theory now. Admiral Reike is starving them for messing up yesterday's simulation fight. If they don't succeed. They don't eat. Cruel but then again, Admiral Reike never was one to spoil people. You'd have to expect something like this. “Look, come on. Just eat it. It'll be our secret.” Justice rubs her hands together, staring hungrily at the bar. You unwrap it, and hold out the bar to her. And finally, she munches down on it, quickly chomping it to bits in her mouth. She takes a deep breath, groaning before grabbing your hands and pulling the bar further into her mouth. “There, there. It's alright, eat as-”

“Admiral.” You blink, turning around. Hand of Justice freezes, before pushing your hand away. Admiral Reike folds his arms, looking at you with some curiosity. “Can I ask what you're doing?”

Honesty is the best policy with Admiral Reike you suppose. “Just giving Justice a treat,” you say. Admiral Reike nods, walking up to you two. Justice steps back, looking down at the floor. He holds out his hand for the energy bar.

“Mind if I see?” he asks. You nod, handing it off to him. He takes the half-eaten bar, taking a look at for a second, before tossing it down the hallway. Justice flinches at the sound of bar hitting the floor. Oh jeez. You've done the bad thing. He looks at Justice. “Hand of Justice. Back to your room.”

“Yes, sir.” Hand of Justice quickly moves past you all, hurrying away.

Admiral Reike places his hands on his hips, looking to you. “Admiral. I have my own ways of teaching my girls discipline and order. I'm sure you have yours as well. I don't intend to spoil them though. If they do something wrong, it's punished in a way I see fit. Understand?”

“Yes, Admiral,” you say simply.

“Good.” He nods, patting your shoulder. “I won't interfere with your girls. I'm no backseat driver. I expect them to do well considering their performance yesterday in fact. But don't go behind my back and make me out to be the bad guy to my girls. Do you understand that?”

You nod. “Understood, Admiral.”

Admiral Reike nods. “Good. On your way then, Admiral.” He turns around and leaves the way he came.

You fold your arms, watching him leave. Old men versus young men you suppose. You like Admiral Reike, you really do. But your patience is probably going to be tested here. At the very least, these girls aren't your responsibility anyway. It's not like you want to take care of them. Though having all of his Ship Girls to take care of would increase your prestige.

You rub your chin. And increased prestige is always met with reward. A Super Star Destroyer-sized reward. Hm.

-

After lunch, Tellstar, Agility, Black Hawk, and Force of Commerce came back. Commerce stumbles in with her bag of resources. “These three are just-...” She pants, rubbing some sweat off of her forehead. “I got some... resources ya... ya...” She falls over face first, exhausted.

Agility and Black Hawk jump in. “We got plenty of resources too! Including...” They reveal a Life Crystal. “This Life Crystal!” Agility butts in. “But seriously, I found that. Black Hawk was busy chasing purrgil.”

“I was not!” yells Black Hawk. “Besides, Purrgil are boring! Fat and boring! I don't like purrgil. I shoot purrgil. I don't have a purrgil plushie...” Black Hawk pouts intensely, stomping her foot and folding her arms.

“Aw...” Agility pinches Black Hawk's cheek. “I touched a nerve!”

“Shut up!” Black Hawk stomps her foot again, glaring at her. “Before I rip your nerves out!”

“Girls, quiet, quiet.” Prosecutor takes the Life Crystal from them with a smile. “You all will get some nice dessert for dinner tonight, okay? All of you.” The two corvettes jump up in glee, then speed away to the dining room. Three hours ahead of dinner.

Tellstar blinks, looking at Commerce. “Are you okay?”

She breathes heavily, lifting herself up. “Those two corvettes are quite possibly the fastest little bugs I've ever seen.” In the background, you can see Defiant, Liberator, Vigilance, and Implacable returning from combat sortie. They form an orderly line and move out of the hangar. Defiant glares at all of you. Commerce glares back at her. “What are y'all lookin' at!? Never seen a Starship Girl take a break before!?”

“Don't make a scene, Commerce.” Commerce grumbles at that as you and Tellstar help her up. “Anyway, you all did good today regardless. Tellstar, you especially. Brought home a lot of resources, good girl.” Tellstar beams at your praise happily, bouncing up and down. You look to Reike's ships, who all look forward and exit out their own way. Figures. You roll your eyes. Well, if they don't want to interact with you, fair enough.

“Oooh, Ice cream!” Agility and Black Hawk chow down into the first ice cream they've had in days most likely. Everyone gets a bowl after the good performance of today's expedition team. Commerce and VP stare at their bowls, grumbling. Agility, being Agility, tries to steal Commerce's bowl.

“Hands off!” Commerce pushes Agility away, before silently munching on her ice cream. “You don't get seconds just because I don't want ice cream...” VP sighs as well, eating hers.

Prosecutor says, “We have two Life Crystals now, Admiral.” You quirk your brow. “A corvette and a cruiser as analyzed by Arc Hammer.” You all look to Arc Hammer as she lazily reads her book and eats her ice cream. She looks up, then goes back to reading.

“Our fleet's getting pretty big!” says Black Hawk. “I can't believe it was just the three of us to start with!”

Redemption giggles a little. “My, my, the Admiral's family grows before he even knows it.” Family? As if. You don't have sex with family. You snort at that. “He's got the little kids!” She motions to Tellstar, Agility, Black Hawk, and Commerce (much to Commerce's consternation). “Now all he needs is a wife.”

Prosecutor, Finalizer, and VP hesitate at that. They all look to Resolute. Resolute looks up, then shakes her head, going back to eating. The three of them look at you.

You snicker. “Redemption, don't say such things. You're practically a mother already the way you baby these girls. I don't need a wife at this stage, I have you.”

Redemption leans across the table. “My, my.” She smirks, resting her chin on her tented hands. “Admiral, you fishy little joker. You're trying to tease me!” Well, that is not how you thought Redemption would respond to be frank. “Of course, every good mother needs a husband you know.”

You squint at her. “Shame, so few good men out there. Don't need to get your hopes up.”

“Hm, hm. Marriages are built on hope.” Redemption licks her lips. “Of course, one doesn't have to be married to sire a child.” Finalizer stops her drinking, freezing. "Nor do they have to be married to-" Finalizer almost spits out her drink. She places down the glass, coughing and hacking loudly. Redemption looks over, smug smirk still on her face. “Finalizer, sweetie, are you okay?”

“I-” Finalizer spits and sputters. “I'm alright! The scion of the Dark Side does not choke on her drink! I could drink an ocean's worth of-” She coughs, wheezing. “S-... sorry.”

Prosecutor scoots her chair closer to you. “Perhaps dinner is finished for now.” She takes your empty plate and glass for now. “How about we hatch the Crystals? They'll imprint nicely on the Admiral.” Oh, yes, of course. She stands up, scooting to the kitchen.

VP clears her throat. “Yes. We probably should. Though considering our luck, it'll probably be more Republic ships.”

“Hmph!” Commerce turns her nose up. “Y'all are the most immature bunch of people!” She and VP stand up. “Come on, VP! Let's blow this pop stand!” The two Separatist ships storm off.

Right, the Crystals. Hm. Redemption helps take the plates, then winks at you as she passes by. You turn. Hm, well, Redemption is quite-

Finalizer is furiously chewing on her plate, glaring at Redemption. “MMMMMM”

oh boy. “Finalizer. Don't chew on your plate.” She spits it out, guiltily sitting there.

Arc Hammer sits in her new workshop, which has been completely filled with scrap and debris as if it follows her eternally. Phase II Clonetrooper fairies all hop around her desk as she checks her analysis. “Yep, a cruiser type and a corvette type, Admiral.” Prosecutor and F4 stand beside you. “It actually won't strain us hatching them now. But after these two, I would reserve any hatching until we can improve our resource gathering. Logistics hasn't grown with us quite yet.”

“Noted.”

You lean on the desk as Arc Hammer starts the hatching process for both ships. “So, Arc Hammer. You ever get very lonely in the workshop? I can't imagine working here all day without much contact.”

“You're contact enough for one day, Admiral,” she says simply. “Though, I will admit. It does get lonely. Even the fairies I work with get grating after a while.” The Phase II Clonetroopers look up at her, indignant. Arc Hammer looks down at them. “Don't look at me like that. You know I love you.” The Clonetroopers march away. “However, I feel the workshop is my home. More of a home than Kuat ever was.”

“Oh?” You tilt your head. “How so?”

“When I was first hatched on Kuat, things were quite...” She sighs. “Chaotic.”

“Right. You were one of the first ships born,” you say.

“Technically the tenth,” she says. “Tantive IV was the first born, Devastator the second. Unfortunately, Tantive IV sunk some time ago over Tatooine. Still, I guess that does make me one of the oldest ships. It's too bad that I'm the living exception that age does not come with wisdom.”

“No, but you certainly age like wine,” you say with a smile. Arc Hammer blinks, looking away for a second.

“The first ship is coming out, a corvette.” The first Hatching device runs down. It unseals its door. Out comes a girl, much like Tellstar, Agility, or Black Hawk. But her dress is much more regal, with a flowing white skirt down to her ankles, with a long slit up the side showing off the spats keeping her decent. She wears a double breasted blue blazer with golden buttons and trim. And her brown hair is curly all the way past her shoulders. She pulls up her cap, then sweeps her arm forth.

“Ohoho~! So it is time for-...” She kneels down, weak. “Urgh...” She raises a hand, breathing for a second. “Give me a second! I- I'll... Oh my goodness.”

You step up to her. “Who are you?” you ask.

She stands up again, placing a hand on her chest. “Sundered Heart!” She offers her hand to you, as if expecting a kiss on it instead of a shake. “Delighted to make your acquaintance, my Lord. You must be my master!”

> SUNDERED HEART <
> CR-70 CORVETTE <

You smile, then take her hand and kiss it politely. “Delighted as well.”

She giggles. “Fufufu... you're already very charming!” Prosecutor frowns a bit, folding her arms. She looks over at the other Hatching Device as it counts down. “Oooh! Am I about to get a friend as well! Excellent!”

You all look to the second Hatching Device as it opens. Out comes another girl, a few inches taller than Prosecutor. She scratches at her brown bun hair, then adjusts her glasses. Her pale face is hidden beneath a thick scarf, and her body hidden as well behind a brown arctic jacket adorned with metal plates along the arms and her hips, sealing it around her admittedly slightly thick figure. And for legs, black leggings beneath grey boots. She pulls her hood down, looking at you all. “Oh dear.”

“Who are you?” you ask.

She looks down, then pulls out a pocketwatch from her jacket pocket. “My name is Profundity.” She shoves the watch back inside her pocket, standing straight and at attention.

“Haven't heard of you,” says Arc Hammer.

“Trust me. The first combat sortie I'm in, you will!” She pumps her fist, grinning. “When are we going to attack!?”

> PROFUNDITY <
> MC75 CRUISER <

“Wow!” Sundered Heart looks up Profundity. “You're big!”

“I know, right!” yells Profundity. “So when do we charge the enemy and face them in glorious battle!?”

“Later. How about we introduce you to the girls first? I'll take you down to the simulation chambers so you can show off your stuff.” They smile happily. “Come on then.” Yes, more girls to add to your growing fleet! You don't know much about them now but you'll see later on soon in the simulators.

You've gathered the Fleet to watch and observe Sundered Heart and Profundity in the chambers. Sundered Heart elects to stay in the back however. Why? Because as a stock CR-70, she's actually unarmed. Which hurts her service career a little bit, she'll only be good for expeditions. But Profundity is a bit of a firebrand. “Take this! And that!” Profundity fires off her twelve proton torpedo tubes. The holographic targets get blown to pieces. Other than that though, for a ship her size, the rest of her firepower is relatively underwhelming. Her only real saving grace are her two X-Wing squadrons. But that is pretty much the full extent of her use. She doesn't even have any boarding parties.

Oh well. Nothing a remodel and some equipment won't fix.

“Hmph. They're not so bad,” says Finalizer. Agility and Black Hawk however appear quite cross at their appearance. They're probably threatened by the new arrival of another corvette. Once you all come down to meet them. Finalizer says, “I am Finalizer! Scion of the dark side! And I-” Profundity gets in her face, silencing her. “Ah, what the-” The two press their chests together, glaring at each other. “You are way too close!”

Profundity pulls her glasses up. “No, if anything you're too big!”

“How dare you!” Finalizer scoffs. “You insult one of the Admiral's preferred ships! I'll have you know-”

“Let's fight!” Profundity raises her fists. “Here, now!”

“Eh?” Finalizer blinks. “But we don't have our-”

“I mean wrestle you doofus! Come on! Unless you think you're too dainty!” Finalizer blushes intensely, then immediately attacks Profundity. The two start wrestling each other to the ground, with no real clear winner surprisingly. Everyone simply watches.

Sundered Heart scoots in next to Agility and Black Hawk. “Greetings, fellow corvettes! I'm Sundered Heart, a royal transport of the Alderaanian people! And I-”

Agility points to Sundered Heart. “Bet you can't outrun us!”

“Ha! I could outrun you at walking speed!” she says. The three immediately burst into an impromptu race around the chambers, with Sundered Heart getting immediately tired and having to stop. Agility and Black Hawk immediately run circles around her, laughing at her. “Ah! Stop laughing at me! I am royalty!”

Yeah. Things are just fine.
