You arrange with Lance to focus on attracting more people. You also get Angelica to work on researching magic. With the meeting over you head off to sleep. You wake the next day and head to the waters of the lake. When you get there you sit down and relax. You are soon joined by your wife and the two of you lean one each other.

However, as things have been for the past week the peace does not last. Soon the there is a burst of magical energy coming from Angelica’s area. You turn toward it, but the flash dies away soon. After waiting a few moments you decide that you should over to deal with the Capra. You give Bosari a kiss and head to the slave area. You take the Capra to the field once more. They all sit down before you without having to be told. As you walk around and examine them they obediently display themselves. This week you put the finishing touches on their training and make sure that they are ready to obey and serve. They pass your expectations and you can clearly see they are ready slaves.

In the settlement things go well, but not that well. You manage to gather a good amount of crystals and even manage to start grinding some crystals for the drug. However, your men have a rather less than successful time training this week. You also see the two ships off in the search of more men to aid the settlement.

As you head to the meeting you are once again approached by Lance, who asks what he should focus on for now.

You suggest that he work with the disobedient slaves so we have less issues. He nods and the two of you head over to the town meeting. After it concludes you head back to your home and fall asleep beside your wife.

When you wake you head over to the lake. The day’s peace lasts a little longer as you stare at the waters, but it is destroyed soon. Lightning flashes from her area and is soon gone. This repeats for a while and you continue on with your day. You head over to the pen to once again train the priestess. When you get there you see Lance working with the Asherans. You decide to try to train her obedience, but nothing goes right. Unlike past weeks she is able to find some inner reserve of strength and resist your power. You try nearly everything, but she stands firm. After a while she begins to pray t her goddess and after that she ceases to react. You return her at the end of the week annoyed.

Lance manages to do some good work with resource analyzation this week. He finds that in the cliffs where the Asheran village was there are some sea serpents which are prized for their scales. The troops training is still not yet producing anything of any worth. However, thanks to the work of the villagers the town hall is constructed and you hold the first meeting in your new home.

We should make a rule. There are a few of us here, so we could arrange that if anyone rolling below 15 on a single roll and below 25% of the total on a multi-roll, has to take a break from rolling for one or two posts. I always followed it and rarely rolled bad afterwards.

You once said it could not only be used as a shield, but could also do things like automatically replenish resources and such, right? That would be pretty neat.

We've got a few autonomous forces, which can be good. But sometimes, we might need one big force. These need to work together without any visible division into cadres of any sort.

We have grown in number quite a bit. And we will continue to do so in some time. It's better to be prepared for it.

You try once again to teach the priestess of her place, but she manages to resist once more. No matter what you do to her she stands firm. Though she doesn’t seem as defiant as she once was.

In the department of slave breaking Lance is ahead of you greatly. This week he manages to have a significant breakthrough with the Asherans pushing them closer to obedience even with their leaders resisting. Things also go well in the settlement as you raise 5 new house, gain more crystals, and make some bricks. In addition to that the troops finally manage to have a good training session.

At the end of the week the leaders meet with you and you all plan.

You end the priestess rebellious streak immediately. As soon as you get to the field you have here begin to have her preform some more difficult tasks. When she tries to resist you begin to strike at her with wind magic. You also use some curses to break her down a bit. As you take a break while having her fan you a strange sensation fills you.

You stretch out your wind magic and feel that there are a number of bodies in the forest. Before you can give a cry from the bushes emerges the wolf that you let get away. Behind her are nine other wolves without words they strike at you. You quickly knock the priestess out with some wind magic and face your foes.

You quickly move to assist the soldiers by forming a wall of wind energy. The slaves behind the wall try to break it, but the wall remains firm. While you are working on the wall your allies subdue the mother wolf and the scared wolf. With them like this the assault force has been dealt with. As the two of them are taken care of you decide to….

You throw the scared wolf into back into the pen and drag the white wolf and her mother over to a special area in the pen. You then get back to making sure that the priestess is obedient. All in all the attack was not very effective on their part. While they were able to cause damage to the pen they were not ble to do anything else.

After the attack the settlement is rather prosperous. You manage to gather a good amount of materials this week. In addition to that the battle gave the troops a greater motivation for training allowing them to excel this week. Lance also, has a good time training the Asherans now that they have seen you grow more powerful.

The group meets once again at the town hall and begins to talk.

“I believe we should strike at the Beastcursed home,” says Tiberius looking over at you, “They should be weakened with the fact that their force was destroyed.”

“I personally think we should focus on how things are here”, says Lance, “though we didn’t lose much we should still focus on what we have now. Besides they won’t be able to make much of an attack after that.”

They both look to you seeking your opinion and you decide that we should….

As things go one you come into contact with Lance who is training the Asherans. Seeing the priestess so low before you seems to demoralize them.

In the rest of the settlement things go rather well. While the training dedication that happened last week is gone things are not the worst. The repairs seemed to be going poorly at first, but later in the week they got better. In addition to that the workers were able to make 2 new slave houses of a rather high quality.

At the end of the week you and the rest of the leaders gather together to discuss settlement plans.

Once again she is being insolent. You try and try, but for some reason she seems bolder thatn she was last week. In addition to that even with Lance working on the Asheran people they are beging to seem more hopeful. When you return the priestess to the pen the guard captian and the light mage are both glaring at you more often.

Things in the settlement are also ok this week. While the soldiers lose their drive to train things go right elsewhere. The workers are able to improve the wind slave pen making it stronger. In addition to that a field is created that you would be able to grow crops in if you had some seeds. Also, the village manages to acquire some more crystals. You begin your training and to begin with you are already more forceful with her that you have been in a while. Once you get into training her for a while you can see that she is beginning to break. You gather up your mana and cast control and suggestion.

“Why have you and your fellows been so happy this week”, you ask her.

You can clearly see that she is fighting against you, but after a while she givens in and mutters, “We saw some Asheran scouts come from the village. We were happy because it meant that your comeuppance would be soon.”

“That’s rich”. You reply smiling, “If you and your allies couldn’t handle a small group of us then why you do think there is any hope for them.” You then continue her training for the day before calling an impromptu military meeting and telling them the information you were given.

“We should strike at them”, Tiberius looking rather angered. “If we strike before they are ready we shall have the advantage.”

“While that is true they shall presumably have the terrain advantage”, replies Marius as he turns to look to you, “I believe that we should fortify this position that way we can control the battle field.”

“Marius does have appoint Tiberius”, you begin, “we don’t have much if any information on the enemy in this situation. We should fortify our area so it is stronger.”

The groups leaves to tell their men that they should begin to fortify the settlement. The do an excellent job of it too. By the end of the week the settlement is prepared for a battle. The settlers know where to go in case of danger, and the troops have established a proper patrol route. In addition to that there are and number of traps laid in and around the village. Unfortunately, Lance is unable to create the magic suppression drugs in time, and as such you have none prepared.

Outside of the attack preparations things are going fairly well in the settlement. A good number of crystals is gathered this week adding to the supply. In addition to that some food was scavenged from the forest and the seeds were harvested. With the impending attack in mind you call together another meeting at the town hall.

The lady backs up then laughs, “How amusing”, she says with a grin on her face, “A wingless one who thinks he is stronger than us.”

Before she can continue you make your move. You aim you gun at her and fire. It rips into her gut causing her to stumble back. She glares at you and raises her hands. However, thanks to the drug you coated the bullet in her magic does nothing causing her to move back. She glares at you, grabs her knives and begins to fly towards you leading her men.

She and her allies fly toward you as you calmly summon your familiars. As you do so your men and lance begin to attack. The flying foes dodge out of the way of most of the strikes till Alexander makes his move. He raises his hands and calls forth a barrage of purple arrows they bite into some of the troops. When the arrows hit the troops they keep moving on. However, Alexander’s smirk tells you that he has a plan right now.

Before they get to you strike. You gather the largest amount of mana that you had in a while. You use it to form a large tornado that you have every called forth. It manages to catch all of them in its grasp and begins to blow them all around.

The hunter binds him by causing the earth to wrap around his feet. Lance fires a blast of fire from his gun and then it is followed by Alexander releasing a wave of acid at the Asheran and his men.

When the wave subsides you see that he is barely standing he takes a step and then has Tiberius cut off his head you then move to the town center. When you get there you see an Asheran trapped in a sphere of miasma. On his body are a number of runes whose purpose you don’t recognize.
