"Black Hearts. Cold Steel. Dark Deeds."

These are the words of the Black Company, the infamous band of mercenaries that has been on one side or the other of every major conflict on the continent since its founding.
The Company has seldom cared who they fight for or the cause so long as they are paid, and paid well, when the killing work is done. Though they may be considered by some to be little more than glorified brigands, it cannot be said that the Black Company is not good at what they do.

Recently the Company has taken up a contract with a new employer, one more powerful than any that have come before. An employer with endless ambition, as well as the means and lack of moral scruples needed to pursue it. An employer that pays well...

Recap

Still no word from your Company. Cultists, rookie troops, traitors and fire-breathing lizards are nagging distract you enough from that.

The Vampires want a demonstration of your control over ASGORGA in the morning. You can imagine the unpleasantness that will ensue should you fail to impress.

Your wounds are fully healed either. So you'll need to make a choice between getting what you can get done tonight and winging the rest in the morning or staving off exhaustion to have all your shit squared away.

South of Kresden, Late at night

It didn’t make sense. Every report had pegged the Free Alliance as beset on all fronts, stretched to the breaking point. And yet they mustered an army large enough to give the Necromancer’s host a clobbering at Oxenfurt Bridge. Did they make peace with the Wild and Warlord? Or have they simply abandoned those borders? It didn’t make sense.

The Company is silent. No campfires, full noise discipline and weapon readiness. It wouldn’t matter though, if the Alliance found them again tonight they’d crumple in seconds. All the same, someone had failed to post a proper guard duty for their camp tonight for what little good it would do. Captain ‘Cutthroat’ Kiranova scowls, making a mental note to have LT ‘One Eye’ Cao whipped for his negligence. Then she discards the thought, ‘One Eye’ Cao is dead half a day’s march back that way. Him and so many others.

That was how the exhausted and battered Captain came to be standing a lonely vigil over an equally exhausted and battered Company when she spotted the slow moving figure making it way to the camp, dragging something with them. The stragglers had stopped coming in for hours now. Kiranova was just about to sound the alarm when she recognised the uniform. Another one of her boys, alive. For a moment the profound weight on the Captain’s shoulders is lifted as she runs to the staggering brother with medics in tow.

The bedraggled man’s eyes are red, his face black with smoke. He’s frantically pleading for the medics to first see to the companion he’s been carrying for Father knows how long.

”He has a chest wound, but it missed his lungs I think. Is he going to make it? Gods, please tell me he’ll live.”

Kiranova looks down at the man’s comrade. He’s been dead for hours. The Captain recognises him, one of LT Prince’s old friends.

”I’m sorry, but…

-----------------------------

>”CPL Damien, is dead.” They called him ‘Trots’, a charming maverick of a Cavalryman. You remember him and Prince always getting into trouble together.

>”CPL Smythe is dead.” They called him ‘Whisper’, an excellent ranger by all accounts. A quiet friend of Prince, always by his side in the early days to back him up.

”I’m sorry, but CPL Damien is dead.”

Corporal ‘Whisper’ Smythe slumps, sinking to his knees with a pained groan. No sobbing sounds come out as he shakes clutching at Damien’s body, just empty hollow heaves.
Kiranova looks at the other figures surrounding the scene. Some too tired to care, but many sorrowful. CPL Damien ‘Trots’ was a popular figure in the Company. The charming cavalryman was the well known for rash decisions and taking gambles that saw him demoted just as often as it saw him promoted.
”You two, help me get CPL Smythe inside. The rest of you, attend to Damien.”
The ranger doesn’t resist as two infantrymen lift him up, gently guiding him to a stool in your own quarters.

”I hate to do this now, Corporal, but we need answers. You were the only one to make it back from the riverside. We thought your relief was pushed back with the 1st and 6th, but clearly the cavalry got through.”

CPL Smythe looks like he’s about to break into tears again, but he breathes deep and clenches his eyes and fists. When he opens them he has a sad smile, calm again. They breed ‘em tough in the company.

”That they did, Captain. Came over the bank like big damn heroes. The knife-ears didn’t even try to put up a fight, and most of those that did run didn’t make it far. Elves aren’t know for their swimming. ‘Trots’ said that to me after.”
CPL ‘Whisper’ Smythe sniffs angrily.
”We could have done it, Captain. Broken through, made it back mostly in one piece. When the Chevalisse knights came up behind us it was looking dicey, but we could have done it, right?”

Captain Kiranova nods. ”So what went wrong.”

”Them knights weren’t chasing us, Captain. They was steering us. Albani Warmachines came out of the undergrowth. Six of them. We didn’t last a fekking minute. They broke us, broke us into pieces, and those fekking knights mopped up the rest.” Corporal ‘Whisper’ Smythe’s knucked are white as he finishes his tale. ”It swatted him aside like a bug, sent him flying. We had to use his own butchered horse for cover. I thought… after we made it this far I thought…”

”Six? Saint Tirsa’s fekking tits…” The Captain breaths out slowly. The two infantrymen glance at each other. They’re not used to seeing the Captain show much in the way of emotion, apprehension even less so.

Captain ‘Cutthroat’ Kiranova didn’t want to raise stakes again tonight. Another march under darkness, and not much hope of stopping in the day. This wasn’t the first sleepless night they’d had, but you can only do so much. The men has been pushed hard enough as it was already, push them any further and they might snap. It wasn’t a discipline thing, the Company was the best in the world as far as the Captain was concerned. Marching tonight means those wounded today stood less of a chance of surviving, less likely stragglers would catch up, more likely those already exhausted and demoralised would just give up.

But if this camp was hit by six Albani Warmachines in the night… There probably wouldn’t BE a Company to march come morning.

The Captain decides they can't risk it. The order to break camp is given.

Her fellow officers protest, citing exhaustion, mutiny and the possibility of more survivors coming in. Doctors and medics alike protest, saying travelling now will kill this patient or that. Kiranova lets them continue for a while before cutting them off. She knew that when she made her decision.

Normally such an order would net a plethora of grumbled complaints and whiny mutterings, instead tonight it is sullen silence. An angry universal grimace that has everyone on edge, officer and common soldier alike. The dangerous air of insubordination, and the march hasn't even started yet.

Just hold it together a little longer, my boys. Kiranova whishes fervently as she watches behind her stern facade. And pray to whatever Gods you can that Prince has Kresden's gates waiting open for us.

No roll required. The Company will arrive at Kresden soon. They won't be in great shape though.

Kresden, late at night at the Actor’s Theatre, now the Cultists Encampment

The cultists that make up the made following surrounding Superior Syka are demented, callous and power hungry. They are the logistics organizers, quartermasters and suppliers of freshly raised bodies. You like to think of them as the Necromancer’s equivalent the Company’s own supply. Many of them are just ordinary fellows that put self-preservation before personal beliefs, fair enough. But far too many of them are in it for the power, cruelty or worse sincere belief. They tend to be fanatical in their beliefs, recreation seen as weakness or sin of sloth in failing to continue work towards the ultimate goal. That goal being oddly non-specific and vaguely linked to world conquest.

Which is why you’re quite surprised to see the Cultist Demagogue ripping a massive puff of Torkrum from an ornate pipe when you enter.

”Ah, welcome to my humble *cough*… What were we… hmmm, sorry I forget, very rude of me. Have you ever tried this? Had to bend over backwards for some of those Ajyimad boys to get my hands on this. Hiiigh quality shit. Geddit, high?”

”Yeah I get it, even dabbled once upon a time. Got off it same time I stopped smoking.”

You don’t mention that you’re still partial to a bit of Darkwood Tea when it’s on offer, but that hardly counts as a narcotic. Not compared to some of the heavy tier shit going on here.

”Right on my man, that shit will kill you sooner or later.” The Demagogue nods in agreement as he rolls up his arm and picks a device off the table.

Fekking Below, is that a Synzthene Injector?” The Demogogue nods dopily as the mechanism to inject the orange liquid into his arm with a smooth click and hiss. ”Why does someone like you have a combat drug?”

”Ahhh, much much better. Helps, counteract the high and drowsiness from the Torkrum, you feel?” It seems to work, already the Demagogue looks sober and attentive compared to before. Completely normal if you ignore the occasional tremor in his fingers.

Behind him you notice a cultists frowning under his mask, not bothering to hide his disapproval.

>3 Success!
>Double 66! You get more than you bargained for.

It wasn’t going to turn out like this, but those dubs man

”Your cultist buddy there doesn’t look like he approves of it.” You nod at the grimacing cultist behind the demagogue.

”Who? Oh him, he’s nobody. Maybe if he could raise a corpse without it falling apart within the month or not waste 70% of the vestige of the soul harvest during sacrifices he’d have a shot at taking my place.” The Demagogue shoots him a disgusted glance. ”Him thirsting after Syka’s cunny just isn’t enough.”

”Apostate!!!” The cultist screeches, knife in hand.

”Ah, finally.” The Demagogue sighs as he clicks his fingers, the glowing red wards the cultist just stepped into suddenly activating and trapping him. ”Just cause.”

The unfortunate cultist’s eyes shoot open even wider, first in panicked realisation, then in excruciating pain. The flesh is flayed from his body by increments, peeled slowly like a piece of fruit. You’ve seen some bad ways to go, but this might take the cake. The bones, muscles and organs squelch and crack as they disgorge and then shrivel up into a single point. The cultist’s awful scream lasts far longer than possible, long after their lungs, throat and vocal chords are a messy goop on the floor. The Demagoge brushes aside the… offal with his foot, picking out a stone from the centre of it.

”Here, take this as thanks. He’d probably been waiting for me to forget he was there from the Torkum and then slice me. Below, if you hadn’t reminded me he was here it might have worked.” For no reason you can discern the Demagogue doesn’t seem particularily perturbed or relieved about the whole attempt on his life thing.

”What is it?” You hold your hand out uncertainly.

”His soul. Try not to drop it.” The soulstone feels incredibly light as it drops into your hand, even though a ruby that size should be a significant weight.

”Wh-what the fek am I supposed to do with this??” You stare, certainly not shocked but definitely disturbed, at the small stone in your palm. You’d heard the stories before of course but you’d never actually SEEN a soul before.

”I don’t give a fek, man. Trade it, eat it, whatever. Just make sure those conformist arsewipes see you with it on the way out.”

>[GAINED: ONE MORTAL SOUL]
>You don’t exactly find this at the local market. Free souls are the best kind of currency in the darker realms of the world. You’ll find many creatures more pliable with it in hand. Firstly because you might trade it for something, and second it indicates you have a way of getting more.

That's true, but it's suddenly not in our interests to fuck with him. He's clarified his position as a competent individual in front of us. As far as we know, that's dead on, so his superior wouldn't be pleased if we messed him up. Maybe we could get away with it, but it's not profitable to do so.

”Half these useless lackeys couldn’t raise a corpse if it grabbed them by the cock and asked them over for tea and biscuits.”

You grunt in vague agreement as the Demagogue, clearly not of the orthodox persuasion, continues his rant. A small part of you worriedly wonders if his odd description is indeed part of how necromantic magik works.

”Sure, I’m a fucking pariah because I studied this crap on my off days at the Sarsburg Univeristy. But now that they’re the winning side? Suddenly everyone can’t wait to chuck a hood on and mumble words as they stab people.” He smacks his forehead in exasperation. ”As if it’s that fekking easy!”

”Right…” It’s possible he erred a little on his Synzthene dosage.

”You get it right? I mean, that little spectacle back then took ALL DAY to set up. First you have to…” The Demagogue notices your blank look. ”Ah, you don’t want to hear about that right? Anyway, here’s the deal. I honestly couldn’t care if everyone of these rats got themselves killed. As far as I’m concerned, it’s all crap, right? The least I can do is see that you get some sort of use out of them and their constructs while you can. My ‘troops’ are at your disposal for what’s it’s worth. Commanding them, and giving enough of a fek to challenge –your- command, really isn’t my style. I’ll even throw in some free shit. So man, command away!”

Yeah, presumably if he comes on board his boss is dead, our boss is dead, the victorious legions of the forces of light are putting dark strongholds to the torch, and all former members, us included, are hunted men. I mean, we should be thinking about it, cause thats what us officer-y types do, you know, but the actual offer is kind of an "if" scenario.
>>
>>1177478
I gotta disagree with you a little. He signs up with us to prevent being on the run. He can do it, he studied dark arts in Sarsburg without getting burned at the stake, but he'd rather not right now. That should give us some more respect for this man; he can cut and run, when we can't.
>>
>>1177471
Our relation with Magus Demagogue could sour later on, but we don't think there's anybody better in his camp that would replace him. Does he think we'd kill him? No, our jobs are too different to be good at it and his boss would kill us for doing so. He's the best bet, and he knows it.

Don't worry about the buddy buddy crap. We should be all business with this guy. He has made a very good offer on his part, and we can benefit a lot from what he's offering. He's contrite at this negotiation. He can't do our job well, just like we can't do his well.

And if his successor comes along and runs a tighter ship, we tell him it was just business with the last guy. There's nothing to lose and a lot to gain by being helpful with the cultist leader now.

Seems pretty even split between sussing out loyalties and getting Dragon Drugs. I'll write it out as the two of you bonding over the SCIENCE aspect (even though Prince couldn't give a shit, so long as he gets his result) and then working loyalty into the conversation.

----------------------------------

“I’m more after sheer quantity of supply if you can manage it. How much of this stuff would I need for a horse? For… research purposes.”

”Are you saying what I think you’re saying? You’re not talking about a horse.” The Cultist Demagogue rubs his eyes and looks at you again. ”Are we really having this conversation? That is… stupidly amazing. Yeah man, I can hook you up. By Below that’s some harpy shit, but only if I get to observe and write a paper on it okay? Hahaha, oh man.”

The Demagogue leans over the sofa and starts chucking various narcotics on the table. He’s got packets of the stuff. Where does one even find this? There’s no way Brento and the local Kresden crime society could supply this.

”What do you reckon? I got everything, Psychadelics, enhancers, depresseants, stimulants and whatnot.”

------------------------------------

>”Psychadelics.” You don’t want ASGORGA to know if he’s in the Shadow Realm or not. [Courage]

>”Enhancers.” A Dragon is one thing. A Dragon on the gear is going to be a different beast altogether. [Elite]

Once we've shown the vamps, we have control, then we'll get him hooked on enhancers!

I can't see anything good come out of the psychadelics. Maybe if we gave it to him in the middle of an enemy camp as a distraction, but then he'd still get killed.

Actually screw it, lets have enhancers and psychedelics. Changing to:

>”Psychadelics.” You don’t want ASGORGA to know if he’s in the Shadow Realm or not. [Courage]

>The equivalent of valium and happy pills.

Keep the dragon calm and happy.

Guys, are we seriously fucking doing this? If this goes wrong the town is burned, the dragon thinks its a daisy, the rookies are scattered, our merc counterpart is going "What the fuck?!" the vampires are pissing blood laughing and the cultists are working overtime to raise the dead. In what WORLD does this end well?!
>>
>>1177610
We need to get this dragon fucked up enough that we have him doing paperwork alongside White Bitch and Legless Jenny.

Serious answer:
>”Stimulants.” A happy Dragon is less likely to cause collateral damage during your ‘talk’. [Experience]

I feel like this might not help the attempt to dominate ASGORGA but it will probably lessen any negative results from bad dice rolls.
>>
>>1177620
It's not technically a bad idea to get all types of the drugs, if we can afford the 4X dosage amount.
Keeps options open.
But it's crazy to give any mixture of the types, and its certainly crazy to freak out a dragon when you're anywhere near.

I honestly have no idea how you're going to convince ASGORGA to partake though. Human tradition? Tribute? His first paycheck?

I don't like our odds about pulling a fast one on a creature with as good a nose as he has, so let's say tradition. We partake, he partakes, we both have a good time. Not something we do during the showdown with the vamps, but might work.

>>
>>1177682
Yeah, we'll go mad trying to find the right mix again. Pulling our hair out for it when we're in the village.
>>
>>1177671
Fuck apologies. That immediately makes us subservient to him. If we give him shot it's because we have so much that he's helping us by getting rid of it.
>>
>>1177697
It doesn't have to be a genuine apology, more like a manipulative feint.
>>
>>1177701
I don't think that would mean he'd eat it. Guy can take cows whenever. He likes our big brass balls, so it might be better to offer him the soul instead, then the drugs.
>>
>>1177709
Doesn't mean he wouldn't eat it either.

Holding onto the soul gives us a DC bonus though, so we should hold onto that until we're truly desperate.
>>
>>1177659
Prince, dragon and culsltist dude just do a ton of drugs together as "human tradition"
>>
>>1177733
That's true, although he will react badly if he realizes we drugged him. The soul is good to still show off to him.
>>
>>1177744
He'll be too happy on stimulants to be upset about being drugged.
>>
>>1177701
Doesn't matter if it's a genuine apology or not. It's still us acting submissive to him. It's been pointed out multiple times that's how you lose Dragons respect. Rule or Be Ruled like a bitch.

We could manipulatively suck his dick as a feint too, but a joking cocksucker is still a cocksucker.

Also I'm pretty sure the reaction to poisoning a dragon is him burning all your shit. Like I'm pretty sure he would figure it out once he started to trip.
>>
>>1177756
I see you've never actually done drugs. This explains some things.
>>
>>1177770
Oh I have but I've never had a good trip. I assume other people have good trips.
>>
>>1177781
I would be both pissed and tripping if a buddy slipped me some MDMA.

Which is best when it's a little methy to be honest.

Really it would be awesome if we could give the dragon like some methy MDMA and the equivalent of a gram of shrooms.

Get him energetic and kind of playful when feeling good about any idea we propose like showing off to the Vampires what he can do.

Loyalty conversation hasn't occured yet, we'll see how SCIENCE goes.

“Stimulants.” A happy Dragon is less likely to cause collateral damage during your ‘talk’. Depressants might make him angry instead of sad, and Enhancers have known side effects. As for psychedelics, you really don’t want to imagine what ASGORGA would get up to if he started seeing cats the size of wagons or convinced himself he breathed perfume instead of fire.

“Yeah good choice, man. Stimulants are a safe way to go. I gave this other psychedelic stuff to a Wildborn back in the day. We were in a public place. People died.” The Demagogue puffs out his cheeks remembering that particular fek up. ”Man, I’m so excited. I’ll have to get every protective ward I have together just in case but I can’t wait to watch!”

The Cultist Demagogues keenness does nothing to allay your own worries as you exit, packet of narcotics tucked under one arm and a human being's eternal soul held in the other. You get a lot of stares as you leave the Cultist encampment.

So much officer stuff to do, only one officer you trust to get it done. You’re certainly not inclined to let LT ‘Shaftie’ Adams command a wet blanket, let alone the Tassenland cohort. And LT ‘Hawk’s life expectancy is low enough as it is without getting him to babysit a Dragon.

The question of the day… or night, or however late this is, is whether all this stuff can wait until early tomorrow.

A small nap is next on the agenda.

This presents a good opportunity. It seemed a little crappy to require a whole skill point for only a +5 bonus to the Black Banner. With the new skill layout (and yes it looks terrible, MS Paint and I don't get along) I've combined them so you should have an extra skill point to spend. After our test with the White Hand Assassins I've attempted to buff Orders to make them more attractive, at the cost of deducting personal combat which you are already pretty set for against most opponents. In the future utilising Orders will be essential to making sure your side comes out on top. I'm not saying you have to spend this point on an order ability, but you should definitely be more willing to at least utilise the orders you already have access to.

We'll go over the abilities and I'll take votes while Prince gets some precious sleep. Information on the Absolute Tier's aren't available. All I can tell you is that they are fairly endgame and you can only choose one.

I will double check, but I believe it granted a permanent +1 Discipline.

So your men would start off with [7/7 Discipline], whereas the average Neumunster Cohort would still be [6/6 Discipline]

A force comprised entirely of Heigelen Guard or Chevalisse Paladins would be looking at [8/8 Discipline], and that would probably be the best the Alliance had to offer. At the same time, absolute fanatics without fear of death or some emotionless automatons like skeletons would have a similar higher discipline, but their DC would remain atrocious.

>[UNLOCKED Leader of Men]
PASSIVE Ability: +20DC to convincing mortal creatures to comply with your requests or commands.

That’s enough of this crap for today. Hard to believe that dream trance, or haunted stage if that’s what it was, happened this morning. How much bollocks can you be forced to put up with in such a short amount of time?

You collapse into your own bed in the Manor and sleep well. So well in fact, you panic when you wake up well before dawn, certain that you must have slept in. ‘White Bitch’ Tara mutters unmentionables as she turns over half-asleep as you get up and dress. You don’t remember her getting in, but the sight of a well-toned naked woman under the blankets doesn’t displease you in the slightest. You straighten your back and breath deep, you are determined to live today like your last. Because it damn well might be. A tentative hand reaches out and strokes your behind, you turn to see ‘White Bitch’ Tara wink at you from the covers.

”Go get ‘em, Tiger.”

You arrive downstairs to see Trooper Saint draping a large fur coat over a snoring Trooper Kid, their head resting in a pile of extremely thick books on human and inhuman anatomy. You hadn’t realised that mutes could snore.

“To be honest sir I went to bed straight after our little expedition in the catacombs. I thought I might have nightmares about Vampires, but it turned out just to be a dream about me sitting at a desk filling out C-14 Boot Requisition Forms.”

”Why up so early then?”

”Figured I get a head start on those forms, I guess. Found Trooper Kid here like this. They’ve been going hard at this Doctor’s studies, I’d help if I could but… well I can’t heal so well anyway. And I think it’s different from how the Good Doctor works. Tidier.”

You shudder visibly. Paperwork and studied. Dark Father spare you. ”You’re doing heroes work there, Saint.”

”I… am? Thanks, sir, I guess.” Trooper Saint narrows her drowsy angelic eyes at you, scrutinising you top to bottom. ”You look different, sir, begging my pardon. Something… a new coat? No. Did you get taller?”

It’s true that you’ve resolved to try and embrace your new role. If you’re doomed to the life of an Officer, then by Below you’re going to be the best damn Officer the Company has ever seen. Because if you don’t at least try, the best you can hope for is getting yourself killed before everyone else.

Both could work, start with a serious tone then shift to a shit-eating grin.

”Being in command is all about appearances, Saint. You were a Captain once.” You say, giving your vambrace a good tug.

”That’s something of a sore point, sir.” Saint wags her missing finger at you, before muttering. ”I always figured you didn’t know what you were doing.”

”What was that?” You frown, looking up from your adjustment of a leg grieve.

”I said ‘It always helps to look like you know what you were doing’, sir.” Trooper Saint beams a smile at you. If it was anyone else you’d swear that it wasn’t sincere.

”Yes. Of course. Anyway, I’m off. I’ve got a big day ahead of me. Drugging a Dragon and impressing a Vampire.”

”I… aheheh, excuse me, sir could you say that again?” Saint covers her mouth to stifle a giggle. ”I must have misheard.”

”I’m not in the habit of repeating myself, Trooper. I’m off. To Drug. A Dragon.” You wave the large packet of… well they look like salt licks to you. You spent most of your younger days not starving or bleeding to death. Not much time for the local tavern party scene.
The look on Saint’s face shifts from confused, surprised and indignant in that order.

”You can’t drug ASGORGA! Spiking someone’s food or drink, even a dragons, is-is… it’s immoral that’s what it is!” You would say her going red in the face would be cute if it wasn’t obviously derived from fury.

”I’m not spiking anything, we’re just going to have a friendly chat and partake in an age-old human custom of getting a little fekked.” And then you'll basically mind-dominate him. Maybe. You chuckle nervously. ”Wow this really is an upset for you, huh?”

”His mind is still developing, like a kids!”

”A kid?! He’s several hundred years old!”

”That’s basically a teenager for them!” Saint is face to face with you now. Maybe drug related crimes were a serious issue for the Sarsburg lawkeepers. Certainly it’s a sore point for some reason ”What would Kid think? How would you feel if Kid starting doing something this foolish!”

”Wha-? Why does that matter? That’s a matter of discipline. I’m his commander, not his bloody Father!”

Saint looks to be on the verge of slapping you. And you honestly don’t know if you’d charge her for that.

You can’t believe you’re having this conversation. Though whether the bizarre nature of it comes from the subject matter, the fact that you’re waving a kilo of narcotics in Saint’s face or that you’re actually having an argument with a goddamn Trooper. Where the fek is this sassiness coming from all of the sudden.

>”Fine. Come along. You can be his… chaperone or something. Make sure we’re both on an equal footing kind of deal.” [Clever]

>”He’s not Black Company yet, hasn’t signed up. He’s on a probationary stay only. It’s fair game, Saint, and this is for the good of the Company.” [Experience]

>”You heard the bloodsuckers, we need this Dragon under control ASAP. BUT if it makes you feel better, I’ll also partake. For reasons of fairness.” [Courage]

Alrighty, I have work at 5:00AM so I'm taking off. With my new roster I'll only have every 2nd weekend off to run Black Company. That said, at least it's a certain thing now. None of this flaky 'oh I'm hungover' or 'look hot foreign chicks' shit. Anyone know a better program than MS Paint for drawing up skill charts and such? I was hoping for something resembling the skill tree from Shadow Quest, I can't stand to look at this mess.

See you next time, gents. In the meantime, I am interested to see whether you plan to recruit ASGORGA to the cause willingly or impose your will upon them. There are pros and cons to both approaches.

Paint.net has a LOT more tools, and it's free to boot

Hey! Am I the only one who RP'd us having a nap, by having a nap?

Glad everyone voted this way though.

I love how saint manages to catch prince flat-footed like this every fucking time they speak.

I also love you idiots for even coming up with the idea of drugging a dumb, juvenile dragon into submission. This thread is stupid ass hell and exactly got it should be.

I suggest we bring the erhu and sing drinking songs or a march tune in the black tongue, to set the mood.

I 100% support this traditional acceptance in manhood.

We can even use Saints nagging to goad him into it to prove that he's an Adult now.

And tell her that she's insulting our tradition of Male Bonding.
>>
>>1178535
Genius, a mere human woman questioning his ability to make his own decisions and treating him like a whelp. We won't even need the drugs when we have a nagging, well-meaning woman up in his face
>>
>>1178581
She's like the Mother no dragon ever had.

Oh god. She's going to be posed once we start talking in the black tongue and she can't understand. Our new goal is to get the dragon to laugh while talking in the Black Tongue.

Let's see if we can get her mad enough to get stoned with us.

Is.

Is this another "Possession while fucking White Bitch" moment?

Should we use MBFH II just because we can here?
>>
>>1178603

Nah, we're gonna use MBFH II cause if this goes wrong, we're fucked.
>>
>>1178996
Ehhhhhh.
>>
>>1179073
>>1178996

Honestly seems like using it + drugs could go pretty fucking wrong in its own way. Remember how we butchered a dude and alienated our best friend?

I'm still gonna vote for it. But people should be prepared for this affecting our relationship with Saint if we use it maybe.
>>
>>1179102
I almost want to fail spectacularly at this. I have so many scenarios of how things will go completely tits up and they're all hilarious and extremely lethal.
>>
>>1178603
We should, because literally we get absolutely shit rolls unless it's irrelevant shit like sex
>>

We have to use to land to adjust the DC instead of just picking option a b or c.
>>
>>1179445
* Plans not land silly phone posting.
>>
>>1178302

Fucking bullshit

Acting all high and mighty. We found him locked up in a goddamn basement for how many fucking years? And you don't want to give him drugs?

Helicopter moms don't even go that far. Let us be the cool fucking dad for once and get our subordinate high as a fucking kite.
>>
>>1178209
We should do white bitch companion quest next down time.
>>
>>1180955
Which quest was that again?
>>
>>1188157
To fuck her again.

Which we shall.

Maybe after we drug a dragon and deal with Vampires.
