Your group is carried, led, and dragged, in a cathedral. Shadows dance in the ghostly glare of mana fire illuminating the vacant pews.

A hidden door leads to a spiral staircase descending, you are on it for a very long time. Finally, a wooden door, warped by age, groans as the paladin pulls it open -- the sound echoing as it makes the journey up. Gram is locked into anti-magic manacles and gagged, the rest of you are seated.
"You have questions?" His words address the group but he looks straight to Arthur.

Thread One: >>1142520
This is a sub Quest of Mage Knight Academy.
>>
>>1160909
When Arthur leaves the forest it is as if a deafening silence was lifted, the noise of the divine once more flowed through.

And it was concerned. You get the distinct impression that not everything is right with the Inquisition. That the girl cannot stay with them no matter what.
You're not sure why, although you could pray to try and get more information.
>>
>>1160909
"Why yes, several questions the first being who the heck that girl is."

Just in case I need to be specific, I'm rolling to break out if I can.
>>
>>1160909
"Can you tell us who and what the girl is? And what attacked us in the woods?"

>Pray to [The Light] while the Inquisition is responding to James's question.

Major: T1 Pray to [The Light]
Minor: T1 Inner Light [1/2], T1 Holy Fervor
>>
>>1161403
You give an incredible effort and actually manages to break your right arm loose. The Inquisitor stands as Zoot asks his question, swiftly punching Gram's exposed neck, he a cough -- choking through the gag. Before being bound again, "sedate him." An initiate opens a hidden panel revealing a wicked set of well-maintained instruments, a syringe with pale yellow fluid among them. As Gram is finally clearing his throat the needle is pressed into the meat of his right arm.
He falls asleep.
>>1161403
>>1161818
"Important. A misformed fallen. If formed properly we would be dead."

>>1161846
>Holy Fervor will increase physical abilities and social presence, it will not help you contact the light.
You reach out, but do not get an answer.

The Inquisitor steals a glance at Arthur, seeming to give one last chance at questions.
>>
>>1162504
"Walking around with that kind of equipment you guys seem kinda sketchy. Why are you here again."

By the power of Rage, wake the fuck up and break out. Cause this asshole is either going to kill me, or I'm gonna kill him.

>>1162504
I stand up. Shoot, it seems [The Light] was leaving me to figure this out myself.

"I'm grateful for your aid- without it, we most likely would have died. However, I have a couple of questions for you. Where are we? Why do you need the woman, and where are you taking her? And, most importantly, what the hell did you inject my friend with?"
>>

>DO: Ask to haul around Gram for them (So I can discreetly try to untie him and wake his ass up)
Major: Basic Charisma
Minor: Basic Athletics, Intermediate Public Speaking, Stoner powers
"Hey I can carry Gram for you guys, you all look loaded with stuff."
>>
>>1162504
"But why was the woman important? And who were those people who summoned it? Oh, I apologize, but I had forgotten to mention that we had subdued one of our attackers when we first entered the forest, she is probably still there."
>>
>>1163214
>I had forgotten to mention that we had subdued one of our attackers when we first entered the forest, she is probably still there
OOC: I haven't forgotten about her. She's on my list after this Paladin.
>>
>>1162536
"Purity of flock."

>>1162595
You thrash weakly, an impressive feat considering the sheer volume of sedative given.

>>1162620
"Underground. Protection. Secret. Sedative. Sit."

>>1162660
The Inquisitor seem confused by the question, none of them are carrying Gram. No one answers.

>>1163214
He deliberates. "Secr-" The Paladin lays a hand on the Inquisitor's shoulder. He nods once.
"Dragged from Heaven, Fallen to earth. Protect. Cannot go back." You're not sure if he's talking about going back to the forest or the woman going back to Heaven.

Shit my bad I thought we were still in the forest and were walkin to the cathedral.
>>

"Dragged from heaven? Is she an angel, or simply a spirit? Also, if you don't mind my asking, why are you guys limited to stunted speech?"

I also make sure to see if the horse is still with us.
>>
>>1163448
"Ok, so Spaniards what now?"
>>
>>1163448

'Waiting...'
>>
>>1163452
The thrashing dies down somewhat.

>>1163479
"Brother Abram. Oath. Silence. Initiates. Vow. Silence." He opens his mouth, you see his tongue is covered in scar tissue, with a chunk missing from the right side.
The fact he can speak clearly at all is impressive.

"Angel."
>The horse was tethered by the entrance to the cathedral.

>1163482
He closes his eyes and steeples his fingers.
"Led. Divine. Reason." He opens his eyes, "Purpose. Discover."
He writes something down on a paper, it indicates that he will speak with your group one by one. Up first is James.

I follow them wherever they bring me for my questions, they are:
-What force called us to help the woman?(do not say that we were called to help Arthur, and that he was the one who got the dream)
-What the woman is, besides a fallen angel.
-What will happen to the woman?
-Who was the group that we encountered in the forest?
-Is there anything I can do to help?
-What will happen to us now?

You are given permission to leave, one of the initiates will accompany you.
When you exit the room you may either go up the spiral staircase, which will take some time, or down the hallway to the right.
>Which do you choose?

>>1166387
You successfully hid an entire bong, somehow, on your person. You impress yourself by packing the bowl and ripping the entire thing in under five seconds.
You legend.

You gain [Couch Locked] you are so stoned you have to roll every turn to see if you can take an action. Additionally, you gain [Stoned Enlightenment] allowing you to see if anyone is lying.

Suh dude.

I risked my life to help the woman, I need to know that she will be safe and unharmed so that I may rest easy.

I also agree to cooperate with them as much as possible as long as I find it morally acceptable.
>>
>>1167758
Awww, my 94 doesn't even weaken the sedative?
>>
>>1167896
Sorry, you can't keep rolling to resist the same effect! You're unconscious for now. If some event happens that would give you another chance to save I'll let you know.

They ask how you came to the forest, how you knew the come and a variety of other questions about yourself and the events. They are clear professional and you respond in kind.

They didn't really suspect you anyway.

>>
Rolled 80 (1d100)

Rolling to try to get up and follow them to ask them my questions.
>>
>>1171686
I get up and follow them wherever they bring me for my questions, my questions are:
-Are you guys gonna harm or do bad stuff to the woman?
-Are you guys bad guys?
-Can I trust you Spaniards?
-Do you Spaniards trust me?
-What is purity of flock?
-Are you guys gonna kill gram?
-Why is there a fallen angel?

-Are there more of you Spaniards around?
-AND LASTLY do you wanna get high? c:

I come back into the room, and sit down before the Inquisition. I smile at them.

"Hello, my name is Arthur! I mean no harm, and I simply wish to help out wherever I can. If you'll recall, I helped stop Gram's attacks. Trust me, he can be a bit tempered at times, but he's a decent guy. I'm willing to cooperate and answer any questions you may have."

I do not mention [The Light], nor do I mention the significance of the horse, or my dreams.

Major: T1 Inner Light [1/2]
>>
>>1189717
They ask if you have any questions before beginning.
>>
>>1189857
Nah, I have none. Everyone else pretty much covered it.
