With Piccolo in such a vulnerable state, a single good shot could be all that it takes to end this battle altogether. You thrust your hands toward your foe, unleashing a ball of light that zips right toward him. But, as you'd expected, he moves out of the way, a red glow surrounding his body as he closes in on you. You fire a Bear Shout, but his power increases further, as does his speed, and he's able to move out of the way, causing your Bear Shout to fly harmlessly into the sky.

"TAKE THIS!" he shouts, giving you a solid kick to the face that sends you sliding back.

When you come to a stop, you find that Piccolo has landed, the shock gone from his face. Instead, when you look into his eyes, you see that he's focused and ready for more.

"That Kuma-Ken technique of yours makes you a lot stronger," Piccolo admits. "But I can increase my power, too. I'll have fun showing you just how strong I can get."

"While Tofoo managed to land the first strike, Piccolo has answered in kind!" the announcer shouts. "Both fighters have become surrounded by mysterious lights, and from the conversations occurring in the ring, these glows seem to signify some sort of increase in strength. The question is, who can push themself the furthest?!"

Piccolo readies himself for the next round.

Piccolo is sure to make things tricky for you. If you're careless, he'll rip you to pieces before you have the chance to make a second mistake. Knowing him, he's more than prepared for your to rush right in, and you're not likely to catch him off-guard with another Lightning Punch.

For right now, you decide that the best thing to do is go on the defensive and wait for Piccolo to make his move. Once you have the chance, you'll make a counterattack and gain an edge over your opponent.

Piccolo smirks at you, rushing across the ring and attacking, opening with a punch that you manage to block, and following with a rapid series of strikes that begins to push you back step by step. You're able to fend him off, but only barely, and there isn't too much ground left for you to give.

Piccolo's power increases, and his attacks up their intensity. You know that soon, you'll be overwhelmed. You take a chance, opening your mouth wide after parrying one of his strikes, and unleashing a wave of energy that strikes Piccolo right in the face, pushing him back across the ring, and obscuring his head in smoke.

Several members of the audience look horrified, probably believing that you've just taken Piccolo's head off, but you know an attack like that was nowhere near enough to finish him.

Deciding to take advantage of his temporary blindness, you rush toward Piccolo, veering to the side as two beams of light shoot from the smoke. With his attacks safely avoided, you close in on Piccolo, avoiding one of his strikes with the Afterimage technique and moving behind him. Once there, you chop at the back of his neck, causing him to momentarily go limp and fall to the ground.

"Majunior is down!" the announcer shouts. "I'll begin the-"

Before the announcer can even finish his sentence, Piccolo climbs into a crouch, turning his head toward you and firing two beams of light from his eyes.

Piccolo's Eye Beams come right for you, and you don't think that deflecting them's an option. You certainly don't want to get into a beam struggle, either. But that's alright, you have another idea. It's time to show Piccolo just what humans are capable of.

Rising up, Piccolo smirks as he sees the beams of light pierce your chest, your body falling back. The smirk leaves his face, however, when your body fades away into nothingness. His eyes then widen, and blood flies from his mouth as a blade of energy pierces through his stomach.

The audience gasps in horror, and the announcer even lets out a horrified little yelp at the spectacle.

"T-Tofoo appears to have impaled Majunior with some sort of energy weapon," the announcer shouts. "W-while certainly an impressive technique, the attack may prove fatal. Tofoo had better hope not, or he'll be disqualified."

Piccolo grunts in pain, slowly turning his head to look back at you.

"D-damn you," the Namekian growls.

"You're right," he says with a smirk. "I CAN!"

His antennae stretch toward you, firing two beams of light that strike you right in the face, pushing you back and causing the sword to leave his body.

Your hands come to your face, and in your disoriented state, you can do nothing as Piccolo strikes again, kicking you in the jaw and sending you flying up into the air. You move your hands away from your face, your eyes being greeted by the sight of Piccolo readying himself to strike you with a double-axe handle. Acting fast, you move, causing him to strike an Afterimage as you maneuver above him.

You drop down, attempting an elbow strike to the back of his head, only to pass through an Afterimage yourself. A foot slams into your back, and you're sent plummeting toward the ring.

Your landing is not a pleasant one, and you're stunned for a few seconds. For whatever reason, Piccolo doesn't take advantage of this, and when you stand back up, you find him still floating in the air, hands raised over his head. His left palm seems to be resting against the back of his right hand, and you can feel his energy rising.

"Let's see how you handle this!" he shouts down at you, grinning in a way that reminds you far too much of his father.

Whatever Piccolo's about to hit you with, you know it'll pack a punch. You can't afford to hold back at this point, your only option is to throw your full power into this battle. Cupping your hands at your side, you begin to gather up your energy, preparing to unleash the most powerful Kamehameha you can manage against your opponent.

Piccolo laughs. "Good! This should be a great end to our battle! Let's end this now!"

"KA......ME......HA.......ME......." you say loudly, a blue ball of light appearing between your palms.

"MASENKO!" Piccolo roars, thrusting his hands toward you and unleashing a wave of energy, even as you thrust your own hands up toward him.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!" you shout at the top of your lungs, unleashing a massive blue wave of light.

The two beams rush toward one another, colliding in a brilliant flash and sending out shock-waves powerful enough to shake the entire arena, causing most of the audience to try and shield themselves from the intensity of it all.

The two of you continue to pour energy into your attacks, struggling to overpower one another as your beams vie for dominance, each one pushing the other back a few inches before being pushed back themselves. Then, Piccolo's attack begins to gain ground, and to make matters worse, you find yourself being slowly pushed back toward the edge of the ring.

"IT'S OVER, TOFOO!" Piccolo declares, giving his attack more juice.

Looking toward the sound, you see Bulma, a determined look on her face as she shouts encouragement to you, telling you to beat Piccolo with everything you've got. And, what's more, Trunks is wide awake and in her hands, his own little arms raised above his head. His mouth is moving, and unless you're crazy, you think that you can hear his voice. In fact, it sounds like he's saying...

"PAPA!"

You look back up at the smirking demon, your determination renewed by your wife and son. You can't let them down, and you can't let Piccolo win. Closing your eyes, taking a deep breath, and gathering all the remaining energy you can find, you let out a yell, feeding new life into your attack.

"W-what?!" Piccolo growls in surprised frustration as your beam swells in size. "N-no, you can't.... I won't lose to you!"

You can feel his power rising, but before he has the chance to match or overpower you again, you give one, final push, overwhelming the Namekian's blast and consuming him in a massive blue beam of light.

The green aura surrounding you vanishes, and you fall to one knee, panting as you struggle to catch your breath. Looking back into the sky, you watch as Piccolo comes back into view, his clothes ripped and body scorched. The red aura surrounding him has vanishes, and his muscles seem to be bulging oddly. The Kaio-Ken has clearly taken its toll.

Slowly, Piccolo descends, landing back in the ring and staring across at you. You can see his hands clench into fists, and you groan as you ready yourself for more exhausting combat. But, instead of attacking, Piccolo scowls, then slumps forward as his eyes close. He falls face-down into the ring, and remains still.

The announcer hops into the ring, rushing over and kneeling beside the demon. After a moment, he rises back up.

"MAJUNIOR IS UNCONSCIOUS!" the announcer shouts. "TOFOO IS THE WINNER!"

The crowd goes wild.
