Alternatively, you could send the more severe and sick soldiers back home, they'll be off your hands and safe, but medical care on your ships aren't exactly the best...
Finally, you could see about going to local Vietnamese villages to see if they have any suppressants or herbal remedies to help your sick soldiers in the field.

Ren is, as previously shown in quest, quite a nice guy...behind the bravado and history he has accumulated that is. This probably comes from how he pictures dragons should act based off of myth and legend not to mention the limited impressions given by our family.

The armour should use a multitude of materials; from our interactions with the Kobolds we found out about how they make their armour and I can't remember which metal it was they used. It was however apparently lighter than steel and just as effective. It would be wise to inquire with them to purchase the alloy mixture and possibly a sample of the armour. This material should then be used to produce all of the plate portions of the armour; helmet, chest-piece, leg and arm plates for example.

Alternatively we could use composites and ceramics to create something which would be resilient to heat and most other forms of attack. At the cost of being far heavier, more experimental and harder to create.

As to connecting these different sections of armour and forming the under-layer / uniform / clothes, we should look into some sort of fabric or polymer. Ideally something like Kevlar but with a greater resilience to heat and knifes.


The armour should look like a mix of the "Colonial marine" armour from Aliens and the armour of the human troops from "Halo". The following images for context;

It should also have a chest rig built onto it, with points on the shoulders of the chest piece to clip things onto (e,g a backpack). (Possibly even a battery and flashlight built into the armour?)


It should cover the entire chest, with the stomach and back being covered in multiple overlaying sections to avoid restricting movement. The rest of the armour is more or less dictated according to the provided images.


To make it weigh less, refer to my point about using the alloys the Kobolds developed to lighten certain sections. Failing that, reduce the thickness of the armour on the legs and arms since they contain no vital parts.
