You are Gurie and right now you are tired, bundled as deep as you can into your blankets as you feel yourself poked. Just five more minutes mom. You wiggle deeper into the covers not interested in getting up out of the warm comfort of your bed before you here a small kzzt.

You jerk out of bed, the Joltik blinking at you truimphantly as your hair fizzles with static, standing up on its end as your brother glares at you.

"It's two in the afternoon, there are four people and a small army of pokemon outside and my room is haunted." Sebastian states planely, his Espurr waving at you from the floor.

"Why?"

>Well it all starts with a tree.
>Don't worry the dolls are mostly harmless... maybe?
>Oh... you just realized you have a lot of work in front of you.

You frown. "Well it all started with this tree."

Sebastian raises a eyebrow, "A tree?"

You nod. "Yeah I was training Koshmar, that's my Sneasel and I hit a tree and knocked myself out. Then I set up camp, found out my doll was haunted, and spent the rest of the night fixing up around 18 ghosts... Then I came back here."

"...What." Sebastian blinks, apperantly feeling a few steps were missed.

"It was a good idea at the time." You insist as your brother sighs, his ten year old body sagging with exhaustion. "Whatever, Genesect man is on." The kid mumbles as he walks away, Espurr waving goodbye as she trots out behind him.

You look around your room, Koshmar having already left to go downstairs probbably and Hoothoot staring at you expectantly. The joltik that just shocked you has taken its time making itself home in your lamp.

That reminds you, you haven't actually CAUGHT these guys. You should either do that or let them go...

Speaking of which you never caught Mimikyu either, couldn't you just keep these pokemon around you but... not catch them? You'd probbably get away with it if you never put them in a pokeball.

Contrawise you might be able to get Carl to hold them for you. He can be like, your poke butler! No that's mean...

>Catch the pokemon, adjust your team accordingly
>Let them go back to the forest.
>Ask them to tag along but DON'T catch them (Cheating)
>Make a note to have Carl catch them for you to use. (Cheating)
>>
>>1124165
What are the penalties if we get caught cheating?
>>
>>1124184
It's a sliding scale dependent on how much you cheated and on what. Cheating in a pokemon gym or League sanctioned event is a SERIOUS crime and you can lose your liscence. Likewise if you cheat to get a advantage over a friendly trainer battle you may be disgraced.

If you are found with a joltik traveling along with you however and you dont capture it you are likely just given a fine. Cheating in battle is more serious then just circumventing the pc box rules.

Likewise the idea of a pokebutler is actually legal but can be considered suspect.

The danger being of course just how powerful pokemon are, a joltik under your sleeve is like a concealed carry taser.

Having the lost follow you around for instance would ding you severely more then Fuzz would.
>>
>>1124223
Mmmmm. I think we should channel our mom more than our dad here and
>Catch the pokemon, adjust your team accordingly
I want to keep the Joltic. Mine carried me through my Black/White playthrough
>>
>>1124165
>Catch the Pokemon if they want to join us.
Ask them what they think about joining us. If they want to, we should gladly fulfill their wish. If not, they may return home after we made them breakfast. Or stay here, if they like to.
>>
>>1124165
>>Catch the pokemon, adjust your team accordingly
But like, ask them if they want to be our firends.
>>
You look at the pokemon and decide you should probbably go and capture them the old fashioned way. But speaking of your new pokemon you should probbably see your old.

You amble downstairs, still dressed in your dirt covered dress you never bothered taking off the day before, peeking your head downstairs.

Debbie is staring at Carl as Mrs Nyarth talks to Alder about this one kid they both knew in the old days. Whatever they were. But they aren't really who you are looking for.

You run down the stairs as you feel something tackle you in the side. "Mimikyuuuuu!" Mimikyu burbles, the tears staining the costume as you smile.

"It's okay here I-" You get cut off as you get tackled a second time. "Raaal." Planny whispers softly as your kakuna hops its way near you.

"Kaka..." Bedbug burbles, black eyes slitting down as he falls asleep in relief... you think.

"Wei." you feel your vulpix rub against your leg purring contently, you buck under the weight of your pokemons love... and their weight in general this is a little heavy.

"Booaboo!" Piper knocks into you from the back floating happily overhead as you collapse in a heap of pokemon. She doesnt seem particularly worried like the others... but then again Piper never seems worried.

Koshmar nods in the side of the room, the sneasel smiling.

"So..." Carl coughs. "Do you mind telling us what happened?"

You explain to a rapt audiance what happened as Freada floats into the room, clutching her clefairy doll.

You explain things, again, as Suzie floats in front of Piper, the two ghosts giggling over Arceus knows what.

You realize your life has gotten very busy.

Speaking of which now that you have your pokemon all settled there are a few matters you need to attend to. Mostly capturing pokemon.

>Catch Joltik/Reginald the hoothoot/the bannettes/Mimikyu (you can pick each pokemon as we get there with team adjustments at the end)

>Pick which pokemon to do first.
>>
I have to go do dinner things for a bit, I'll get back you guys later.

Easily possible, Joltik are easy enough to conceal and are in fact a common pokemon among criminal gangs. Its likely Birbie has a few of them on her.
>>
>>1124697
Hmm...

Can they be used to counter each other?

Actually, now that you've said THAT, I'm really curious.

If someone with a Joltik attacked us, would we effectively have volt absorb because we have our own?

If we ever got into a physical altercation, could we use thunderpunch?

Can Joltik give us electric powers?!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3tzE98pQH08

The joltik hops around, sparks bristling off its fur. Its pumped, its ready to prove itself and defeat you and show everyone that it's the toughest mother-

The pokemon bumps into the glass cup you sealed it in, a thundershock hitting the glass only to fizzle out.

The joltik looks at you, eyes watery, it's clearly trying not to cry.

>I win. *capture it*

You sigh, lifting the glass off the Joltik who scurries free. "Sorry, I couldn't resist." You open a shelve and pick up a battery, rolling the charged device to the joltik who nibbles on it cautiosly.

"How about we do this for serious. Weiss?"

You motion as the vulpix walks in front of the bug, the air cooling under her prescence.

"Wei?" She turns to you tilting her head a paw pointing at the window. Oh right, these are two dangerous pokemon and you are in your house. You should move.

The joltik scurries in your backyard lured there by a trail of batteries.

"Weiss use hail! Try to optimize your evasion!" You yell out as Weiss yips, dark clouds forming over head as a snowstorm falls, Weiss all but winking out of existince in the deluge of snow that covers the Joltik.

The Joltik jumps, leaping onto the wall of your house as it glows zaping the ground with explosive balls of white energy to blow away Weiss's terrain advantage.

You think you see Weiss get hit at one point but the fox shape simply vanishes into the snow as the Joltik falls to the snow, the small pokemon exhausted from overusing such a powerful attack so often.

Looks like you win, but you dont think Joltik has much experience in fighting, despite the fact it apparently knows zap cannon.

You clap your hands, the ghosts of the banettes floating in front of you. Wow these ghosts are already really disciplined around you, they must really like quality stitching.

"The master calls and we obey. To what mortal shall we make their grave?" The ghosts intone.

"Um... none? Who do you guys take me for? Debbie?"

The ghosts turn to your rival, the small girl stealing a bag of chips from your drawer as she gradually notices the stares of your pokemon.

"...Eh, I probbably would." Debbie acknowledges, sitting on the couch to watch the spectacle.

"Well you see, I actually just wanted to see if you would like to come along with you."

"We follow always through any path. Through Fire, blade, hell and bath." The ghosts intone as you sigh. Aww thats so... what did they say about following you into the bath?

"Look, due to legal issues its considered better if you just use a pokeball, how about it? THat way no one else can capture you."

The ghosts ponder this. "Our dwellings have been fixed and fixed well, in iron prison we wish not dwell." The ghosts intone. "Our power grows with our choir, further safety we do not require."

You look at Mimikyu to translate... spooky. "Well, they think that given their dolls are all spiffy that itd be a shame to leave them behind. They think that given there is 18 of them they can easily crack any pokeball before it shows up." Mimikyu shrugs. "They probbably can, though I can't see who would want to try."

Looks like the banette will do whatever you say, but would rather just follow you with a spooky parade of dolls.

It occurs to me now is a good time to talk about how Psychic powers work for you. With us today to teach us is everyones favorite C-list opponent, Mr Oral, the teacher.

"C-list? Well either way hello class! My my such bright eyes. I am sure you are interested in the wonderworld of psychic powers yourselves.

Psychic powers are, as far as science understands it, vestige abilities that link humanity to pokemon. Using these powers certain people can use pokemon abilities.

Psychic is a latent skill and its abilities can vary wildly but are often seperated into the same 17 types we use for pokemon.

Psychics are seperated by grades, the most common psychics, the trainer class are of grade 3 and are primarily telekinetic. Further up is Sabrina at grade 6. Olympia, who can make her gym collapse into a cosmic field and regurally flies, is grade ten.

Gurie is a grade eight, such potential the young generation has!

But what is psychic powers without familliars! Familliars are, as we can all imagine, pokemon who can be used to master the mystical line where pokemon moves and pure power blurr. A witch even at grade four can use a litten familliar to set places aflame. A murkrow familliar can even make someone fly.

By making temporary familliars of wild pokemon that old proffessional excorcist, Roger Niamic, was able to connive and fool some rather nasty monsters in his time. I wonder what Gurie will do her abilities.

Curious right?"

You head up to your room, Hoot hoot flicking through your library. "Hoo!" The bird chirps flapping its wings as you peek at the title of the book.

"The littlest Rowlett finds his way", its the book you used to read sebastian good night with.
The owl chirps again turning the pages. You are pretty sure he can't read a word of it. He probably just likes the pictures.

"So... thanks again Hoothoot."

"Hoo hoo!" The owl puffs up its chest, proud of its accomplishments... which were in fact pretty useful.

"Hoo?" The owl tilts its head, eyes vertical as you look to Mimikyu.

"He asks if you still need help. You asked him and he didnt want to leave you empty handed."

Yes and no.
The stylus works on the same grounds familiars do in that it is directly empowered by pokemon. You also do not strictly OWN your familliars.

But ROGER is the one who picked up pokemon said "we both want this ghost gone so help me out now listen closely."

The ones you just unlocked however are not however and will not leave you. Since you are much more powerful then Roger is you can do things he can't. Roger was only grade 1. He's like a certain sensei to a certain psychic.

You cant use it anymore anyway if you already used it on a pokemon remember?

The big issue is if someone inspects the ball they'll find out you did it.

I think if we just don't use more than 6 pokemon per battle we'll be fine.

"Alright Reginald you are in charge." You tell the hoothoot as Tok nimbles on Mimikyu's old pokegear, the antiquitated tech hidden under your sleeve with Tok.
You don't really know what trouble you might have to deal with, next time someone tries to capture you you'll be able to give them a little surpise. He's like a surly living taser.

"Hohohoo!" The hoothoot chirps, wing in the air in what is probbably a salute if he could reach that high.

"Make sure Sebastian does all his homework, and that the lost don't eat any stray pokemon alright?? You ruffle Reginald's feathers, its a shame you cant take him along just yet but you figure if any pokemon would keep things nice and orderly in your house it would be him.

You turn to your map, Debbie and Carl sitting next to you.

"Well ya got options. Snowbelle's a skip and a hop away and with it a couple of gyms." You nod, your cousins in Dendemille.

Boo, thats dumb and slow, lets go to Lumiose, that has all the cool stuff. Coffee, stones, food, battle arenas, gang violence..." Debbie notices the stares you and Carl are giving her. "What?"

"We?" You ask, eyebrow raised. "When did we decide that."

Debbie giggled, hand over her mouth. "You thought I was going to let you go off on your own with strange men? The pokemon adventure is a family friendly deal. Someone has to prevent you two from being indecent.

You wave to Beedrill as she plays with Bedbug, the bug burbling happily as it gets tossed in the air by the gleeful pokemon. You smile, its good to see a family have fun, though it is a little lonely.

"Mimikyu can you translate for us?" Mimikyu nods as Beedrill puts bedbug down.

"Bee bee" [Son grown. Pleased. Reward. Warning.] Mimikyu translates as the bug whizzes in the air, drawing letters in the ground.

[Shapes. Intrude. Defeated. More.] Mimikyu nods as you look at the letters. You thought they were just E's before but, you gulp. They arent.

They have eyes. The unown.

"[Wary. Power. Numbers. More.]" Mimikyu states as the Beedrill motions to a few others in the swarm the two gingerly carring a stone tablet.

[Gift. Protect. Protector.] The beedril says as the tablet is placed next to you, written in some old script you cant quite translate, in the center of it is some grey stone, a weird helix twinkling in it.

[Protect.] The beedrill says, patting Bedbug one last time before scattering.

Well that was... ominous.

>>
>>1134906
This isn't the game, this is a real live pokemon that if we capture we have to make the very real choice of probably sending it to sebastian I mean, how many pokemon should we really be catching?

Yeah >>1134977 I want to ask, do we get anything out of catching pokemon willy nilly? Is doing that normal? Is it socially acceptable?

Getting thrown in a box as soon as you're caught doesn't help your mental health, we largely have deep and meaningful connections to all our pokemon right now and I don't think picking up random pokemon really fits the narrative when there isn't a "gotta catch em' all" movement going on.
>>
>>1135546
Capturing lots of pokemon is normal, thats why boxes come in sets of 99.

If you capture enough you'll eventually start getting threads where you are Sebastian having to deal with owning a small zoo. Lots of people find ways to put their pokemon to work however, leasing them as beasts of burden in the case of Tauros ranchers or construction work and the like.

Rest assured I wont punish people for trying to have fun.

You back up. "By all means Debbie."

The girl hops forward tossing a pokeball in the air, her Azurril hopping alongside her.

"Aqua Jet." Debbie says pointing as the Azurrill launches itself at poor Dunsparce, the pokemon being knocked in the air only be tackled into the ground next to you.

"Sparce?" The dunsparce twitters confused as you sigh. As usual Debbie's strategies primarily involve blunt force trauma.

The dunsparce digs into the ground, vanishing in a hole as you back up.

"Smalls, watergun the hole." The azurill spits out a collum of water, Dunsparce surfacing for air early as its tunnel system flooded, the dunsparce getting a face full of ultraball as it flops on the floor.

Well that was... scary. You're kinda glad she didnt ask you to fight her.

"Well here you are, the fabled Victory road. Course we ain't got no victories so its just a road, and it ain't a road cause most of it ain't even paved. So its just a fancy hallway." Carl stated looking at the large obelisks, the stone panels adorned with the eight badges.

You stare at the green one, holding up your bug badge. Yup its a perfect fit. Looking at the other 8 you can more or less guess the other types you have to go through, Dark, Ghost, Normal, Rock, Electric, Grass and Fairy. You frown, you had some trouble beating just one badge, the others might be quite tough.

"Well hello there." The man at the reg desk says, peering at you from tortoiseshell glasses, in fact he kinda looks like the guy who runs the desk at Santalune city. Thats nepotism for you, its everywhere in the PTC. "Welcome to Victory Road, can I help you?"

You figure since you are probbably going to fight your cousin next, you might was learn a bit more.

"Well what do you know about a Passie Niamc." You ask.

The man gets that dopey look men get when they talk to your cousin and never get when talking to you. "Ohohoho, the Milk Maiden eh? You have quite the eye."
The man reached under his desk pulling out a magazine of Trainers Monthly, your cousin on the front cover and she's... Damnit Passie stop getting talked into these kind of things.

"The second newest gymleader is quite interesting, given she started as a simple moomoo milk farmer." The man chuckles. "It... nevermind, shes a expert in normal type pokemon, using the types natural flexibillity." The man snorts again as you roll your eyes.

You look at her, if you remenber Passie she never really had a fighter instinct. "So, she's not that dangerous right?"

The man shook his head. "On the contrary shes far and above the most difficult leader in the league, only a handful of people get past her Slaking."

That Slaking? You have a hard time figuring that thing as a deadly fighter. "But what if you only started your journey?"

The man shrugs. "Then you might have trouble. Passie's gym is based on intuition, you arent actually allowed to direct your pokemon during it. You just watch."

That... is probably not actually going to be a problem now that you think about it, considering how your pokemon tend to have plenty of initative.

You point to the black tablet, the column lit purple. "What about that one."

The man scowls. "Right, him. Xerosic of Camphrier. Not a popular choice. He's around as a sort of community service, keeping the Essentia suit up and using his technical knowledge to fix all the damage he's done. He doesn't have any of the authority the other leaders have and can only operate and leave his gym under approval of the Universal police."

Man shrugs. "You have to be careful with him. He's clever."

You frown, that does seem dangerous, though given your company you probbably will end up best friends. "What pokemon does he use."

The man shrugs. "I wouldn't know, thats the trick, you pick each others."

Carl stares. "What you mean each others?"

The guy frowned. "Exactly as it says on the tin, you get a list of six pokemon, he sees all of yours, you can pick three of his, and he picks three of yours, you then fight in a best of three round."

Well that sounds frustrating, you point at the pink one. "Whats that one."

"Oh her? That's Valerie, the fashion designer, she makes really cute designs, little kimonos and the like. She actually quite... off. She wants to be a pokemon and all that. Her gym makes you wait a few minutes before you can acctually attack the other pokemon offensively. Something about strategy."

You look at the road, the gem studded door looming in the hall. "How many people actually get through that each year?"

"How many qualify? Eh roughly 3. Its not easy." The man shrugs. "Granted only a 100 people or so start their adventure each year so it makes sense."

3% Chance of success huh? Well that's... worrying.

"Ral?" Planny looks up as the scizor gives a nod. "Anyway Planny really likes sword fighting and I thought, given you have such a fine... dojo? That we could... enlist her?"

The scizor leaps down from the tree, the metal bug looming over you as it notices your bag, or rather the green tablet poking out of it. "Sci?" The scizor points a claw at the rock.

You go find a stump to get to work on your stitching, looking up to see Debbie... entertaining herself.

You look tough right? Are you having fun? Debbie asks the Scyther, the bug pokemon cutting into a log. You know whats the fun part of training. Fighting, like your master, I bet you can beat him he's just shiny, your faster. I'll give you a poffin if you try. Debbie chats to the scyther, Mr Choppy slowly dragging the girl away as she continues to insist that, when looked objectively, this was a important opportunity for promotion in the system.

You shrug, finishing your stitching to see a scyther point a scythe blade at you in challenge, apperantly it wants a duel... wait is this the scyther Debbie was talking to? Arceus damn it...

Weiss does her best to summon a cloud but before you can give any instruction's scythers scythes glow green the scyther smashing slashing at Weiss with a massive megahorn and sending the poor Vulpix flying, the ice pokemon skidding at your feet scapped, bruised and thoroughy unconcious. Wow you suck at this that Scyther totaled you in one hit. You couldn't even get the hail out in which you may have had a chance.

"Scy." The scyther laughs as it walks away.

You pet your vulpix as you put him back in the pokeball, well that was humillating. And brutal looking.

A few minutes of softly crying to yourself later Planny skips along eager to show you her new attack but you aren't in the mood.

"It will be a few minutes before your Weiss is healed." Nurse Joy smiled as you sulked on the other side of the counter. "Given the extensiveness of its injuries you should wait a few days before using him in battle again."

You frown, "Wait Weiss can not battle?" You look outside, the area under thick snow as the abandoned gym roars outside. "But Weiss is a ice pokemon, he loves snow."

"Not to worry." Joy continued smiling as she pulled Weiss's ball out. "Sure hes a bit roughened up but he can still play as much as he likes, its just that his condition can worsen if hit again." The nurse points to a terminal next to her. "Of course our box system is always available if you wish to let him rest, if you have designated a box location they can even play in the safety of your home area."

You look at the pc, well you do have Reginald. Though seems quite a shame to box him now.

"Never seen a frosty Vulpix before, but there is a first time for anything so why not start now? Names Wulfric." The man grins offering you his hand, though you already know his name.

You are mostly shy around strange people, youve mostly been interacting with pokemon who you seem to be great with,

You look at the champion, a smiling mountain of a man who could, metaphorically and literally, crush you with his bare hands.

You give a panic leaping behind Debbie for cover, Carl strangely absent... did you leave him behind with the whole scyther thing, you aren't sure.

"Um... hello girlie?"

Hi, I'm Debbie, the grown woman cowering behind a little girl is Gurie. Debbie pulled out a notepad. "As part of your responsibility as champion to the younger generation, please list your top three qualties in a woman."

The champion blinks. "Umm..."

Oh for my sister. I am afraid she will wither into a friendless hag, wait no she already is one. Debbie frowns in thought. Well, that aside I am doing my duty to the community, please list them.

Wulfric stands on his tiptoes peering down at you. "Is she okay?"

She's not been okay since the day she was born. Debbie said. Now list?

Wulfric frowned. "Well... I suppose if its for the community... I do like ladies with a bit of fight in them, walks in the forest, and most importantly she'd have to get along with pokemon I suppose."

Debbie nods writing it down. Yes very good, now if you do not mind can you back up a bit Best Friend Gurie's going to have a heart attack.

"Oh right, of course." The man backs up a little, you peeking out behind your child shield as he sits on a table the other side of the room.

"...Hello" You whisper.

She says hello. Debbie turns to you. You know, doing this kind of feels like I'm your pokemon trainer. Debbie smirks. I guess that makes me the leader nowow ow. Debbie squeaks a little as you streatch her cheeks. Please stop that Guriemon, sure I only have one badge now but in a few gyms I am sure I will ow ow ow.

Wulfric chuckles. "Well glad to see I havent froze ya where ya stood..." He raises a eyebrow as he notices your Tablet, which has poked out of your bag when you were cowe- STRATEGICALLY repositioning. "Hey where did you get that?"

"Yo-you tried to get a scyther to attack his sensei!"

Poor Gurie. Debbie says, cheeks red from stretching. Trapped in the past, that is why ow. Why do old ladies keep picking on me, is it perhaps your ow ow. You pull Debbies cheeks harder, the bratty girl wriggling under you as you look at the window, oh there is Carl.

You squint hes doing a throat cut motion... oh right, you forgot.

He's a criminal and Wulfric is the equivalent of Kalos's millitary power, no wonder he's scarce.

"Well... okay that's, that's a bit strange, but I mean Valeria is a lot like that too and shes nice." Wulfric says as you shake your head.

"She's not MY mom shes a mom, who is a bee, who's the mom of my bee. Um Kakuna. " You bull out Bedbug, the pokemon still sleeping in its sling. "This bee."

I recall OP saying that the shiny chance is getting a nat 100.

Getting a crit 3 times in a row is like (0.05)3.

Normal shiny (sinc 6. gen) chance is 0,02 %
At least that's what I checked.

It's closer to in-game rates than the ~3% chance of getting a nat 100 out of three attempts.

"Well I was worried about ya habit in the face of the common folk but if these instructions match my understanding of geography then you'll probbably be fine and dandy."

You shrug as you head off to the route, the snow immediately melting as you enter... god dammit a forest.

If this is going to be Weiss's hubby we need a better name.

So Pablo if they're a guy, Isabelle if they're a girl.

You pick up Liu's ball, watching as Koshmar's vanishes to your house. It's a bit sad, since you never actually used Koshmar in a single pokemon battle but he can hang out with Reginald and the Lost so its not like he'll be lonely.

You go through the rest of the route unhindered, eventually reaching a clearing right where your map says you are supposed to go.

The trees break away to a large flowery field, pokemon milling around stone huts with small bags of berries, milling around the huts like some small town.

"So pokemon village is real." Carl said. "Always figured it was a myth made by a man too hooched on fermented berries."

You decide to search for the man, after all you can always enjoy the sights later. You head through the square, pokemon selling supplies to other pokemon for what looks like dried berry husks. It's really was a village of pokemon, it would be surreal except you are pretty sure some of your pokemon are smarter then you.

...Well not Piper but Weiss maybe.

You walk through the village until you see a large cave, two incense containers sitting outside it. Maybe here?

"If you wish to enter a house without a invitation at least knock. A robbed figure states next to you, Debbie and Carl noticeably absent, again.

You gaze up at the figure, a almost feline form cloaked in purple fur and drapped in brown rags. You recognize him.

In Kanto he's considered the god of consequences, the man made god Mewtwo.

You look around hoping to see your friends, you don't even see Mimikyu right now. You just see a floating god crackling with psychic energy that things you are trespessing. What can you possibly do?

You sniff and fall to your knees sobbing. "I... I was just doing what I was told." You cry, sniffling. "Wulfric told me to go here and he was scary and you are scary and I... I wanna go home."

The psychic pokemon floats awkwardly before handing you a scrap of his cloak, you blow on it.

"I... apologize meddlers frequent my homes, I assumed with your powers you were another assassin sent to hinder me." The god telekinetically lifts the rag, the dirty cloth dissolving into nothingness as you pull out your tablet.

"Wulfric said you knew what this was?" You said as the tablet floated in front of mewtwo, the gem dislodging as the tablet reforms itself.

"I do know this. This however is no object for a child's hands. Why do you have the Insect plate?"

Mom giving me something like this, what did you call it, "insect plate", without any explanation whatsoever?
I suppose it's something my dad would know about, but he's not around, but so is mom, she's a police woman, you see?
Dad knows a thing or two about artifacts, you know?

But regardless, I'm not a child, for you see, I am, in fact, an adult.
The Adultest adult there is. Like no one ever adulted before.
But that has nothing to do with mom, right?
So Beemom gave it to me, because I took care of bedbug...

You tilt your head. "Why would I be a assasin, I'm just Gurie, I got the plate from mom... well not my mom the mom of my bee, well he's not a bee yet he's just a kakuna. She's not my mom because that would be weird since id have to be a bee and, well, I'm not a bee. Though my mom's very beeish I suppose cause shes always busy. Do pokemon have that term busy as a bee. Cause that was my mom. I never found out what it was because I don't speak bee... though according to my pokemon my bee doesn't speak bee either."

You take a breath. "Also I'm not actually a child I know I dont look it given I'm short and just tried but that I am actually a very mature and cool beauty, in fact given I am raising a Bee myself I'm probbably a beemom myself. Well I am a mom of a bee rather then a bee who moms... Is mom a verb?

Speaking of my Bee where is he? Or everyone else."

Mewtwo ignores you, reading the writing on the tablet. "We are in your own head, of course they aren't here."

You look around the flowery landscape. "It's pretty empty though."

Mewtwo tosses the tablet back at you. "And that is my fault?"

You pout, "I'm not stupid you know! I passed trainer school."

"I'm reading your mind, you dropped out to knit punk fashion." Mewtwo points out.

"There isn't really a point in POKEMON school without a pokemon was there?" You countered as Mewtwo shrugs.

"I concede the point. Regarding the first point however many people are after me. Giovanni still feels my power is his tool and the PTC is not pleased with my attempts to expand the village."

You blink. "The PTC is trying to kill you, for building houses?"

"If pokemon can train and raise themselves the position of trainer is irrelevant. However I think its mainly the fact I won't join that makes them worried."

You look at the green plate confused. "So... what is so valuable about them."

"Relics of Lord Arcceus, writ within each in the pure undistilled essence of all pokemon types... Well all but Normal, which is raw power, unrefined to any form. It was given to the most powerful pokemon of that type to safeguard it." Mewtwo raised his hand, a purple plate manifesting in thin air. "Naturally I have the Mind Plate."

You frown. "But why would a Beedrill have it, why not Genesect? "

"Genesect is a weapon of war, created by malefic individuals only to harm others." Mewtwo stated. "He's not truely a pokemon, and has yet to find his place in the world."

You think. "But didn't the story books say that you... " You decide not to finish that sentence.

"Believe me the irony is apperant on me too, but I have had 50 years to adapt and grow away from my initial design, Genesect is just a child still. Beyond that if I recall the last meeting said beedrill is the strongest of all the swarms, the queen of queens so the tale goes. Though with her megastone also gifted to you she's likely to be unseated from such prominence."

You look at the stone. "But don't you need a keystone for that? And a unbreakable bond and the like."

Mewtwo chuckles. "Do I look like I have a trainer? Objects of power alone are all that is needed to replace a keystone, the power of the stone can be overwhelming, a anchor of sorts is useful to hold the tide back. What is more powerful then the bond between human and pokemon?" Mewtwo seems to be speaking from experience, though as a god you are sure he'd know best.

"But still, these are not trifles you are holding, the gifts a queen gives her child can be both blessing and burden. Be careful."

You look at the plate and megastone. Wow you really lucked out with Bedbug, who knew letting a weedle stay on your dress would turn to such a big deal?

>Can we do this in noot head space is weird.

You frown. "Do I have to do anything now that I own a plate, you make it sound like some holy symbol."

Mewtwo nods. "It's a tool of great power, do not use it with ill intent and don't let others. As long as I guard mine then my duty is done. Be careful though, it can do many things, more then either of us probbably understand."

You hold the plate the thing sparkling, well that's a relief but that raises another question. "Where is everyone by the way, I think I am a bit more family oriented, where is Suzie at least?"

"It's a defense mechanism. If I could access your memories and personality as easily then even the most basic telepath would be able to cause untold mayhem." Mewtwo stated.

"Either way now that I know you are no threat to my village enjoy your stay. Do no harm and you won't be harmed. And keep that doll of you on a tight leash."

You jolt awake, Carl lookin at you. "The missy's coming too, for a second I thought we lost ya to the distorted world.

"Gurie!" Mimikyu tackles you. "You're safe."

You pet your pokemon. "It's okay, i just was talked to by a psychic."

Carl raised a eyebrow. "A psychic knocked you out for a chat?"

You shrugged. "Where's Debbie?"

Carl sighed, "At the shops, probably up to no good."

You decide to visit the stalls, figure out if Debbie is going to do any mischief.

You find her black head bobbing at one of the stands, Mr Chop floating behind her and cackling as she scribbles on her notebook.

You can only know what sortof madness she could be coming up with, you head over as you hear her mutter.

So you like to use black apricot for your core? That makes sense it would provide a greater weight without actually making the weapon unbalanced. My grandfather likes to use a yellow apricorn, tended to lend a mysticism to it.

"Probobo." The Probobass lifts up a green apricorn with a beakish idol and you see he's selling swords? How... how does he make sword with no fire? OR HANDS?

Right right, you could always use the sympathetic qualities of green or pink but thats more of a pair deal or for longterm use. I find nowadays consumers are more concerned about catch and release. You know subdue an enemy without the long term concerns of raising it. Oh hi Gurie you aren't dead. Joy. Debbie finally notices you.

Oh that's right, Debbie's actually trying to be a smith you find it easy to forget what with all that's happened.

You look at the probopass's wears, all manner of deadly weaponry set before you, whips, maces with a pokeball on them, swords...

You do recall Planny always liked using a sword with night slash... you toss her ball out, your service pokemon suffling to the wares with a starstruck look on her face.

"Raaaaaaal." She says lookin at all the sharp objects... well they all seem to be carved of a wood of some kind, probably so no one's head gets cut off during a pokemon battle but if Debbie is right they do use apricorn and that can really knock a pokemon back a bit.

But which one too get?

>The white one. Whites always the fastest and this one's got a red racing stripe down the blade.

Sounds like a good idea

Alright guys, let's really think about this since Planny will probably have this sword for a while

OP was foreshadowing the qualities with >>1150800 and is probably also making their qualities based on how they look, on that note...

>Yellow
According to Debbie, yellow was the closest to "mysticism", that would probably mesh best with us over a long period of time since it would both amplify Planny's psychic abilities and also imbue the sword with psychic/fairy power. This isn't even accounting for any hexes that we could put on the thing.
>>
>>1154508
How about yellow for Planny, and red for us?
>>
>>1155296
Why do you want a sword?
>>
>>1155313
Why wouldn't we want a sword?
>>
>>1154508

I'd like to ask the Probobass or Debbie on their opinion, though Debbie will just be a massive b e s t again.
So unless we can ask them, I'll do
>The yellow one. It's got this pretty star at the bottom of the handle.

If we can get more than one, I'd like to get a red one too.
By logic, the higher our level, the more devastating our attacks.
Or I might be completely wrong.

I don't care either way, but it has to be a rapier.
Vote might be biased, because yellow got added so late, so we gonna start a new vote?
>>
>>1155379
I feel like doing so will invalidate what we already have.
>>
>>1155379
Think we're fine, yellow already has the majority.

I will, however, vote that we NOT get a sword for ourselves since it breaks our character.

>>
