The captain takes some and gestures for Rike and your son to help themselves.

After a few minutes you manage to collect yourself and sit upright once more.
It doesn't take you too long to realize what the Captain just did and you try to make the best of it.

Then you turn your attention to the boy.

And for what it's worth, this old man asks for your forgiveness. And wishes only the best for you."

You take a step back and give them some space.
"We may never have the life that we could have had but at least this can be a new start.

Rikes eyes begin to fill with tears.

You shake your head.

She wipes her tears away and then swiftly bows to you.

While the shinigami tried to stop you for a while they quickly agreed that they shouldn't get in the way of Zaraki.
After his little lieutenant jumps on his back you lead him back through the dimensional gateway.
When you arrive without warning at the Urahara shop everyone loses their minds about Kenpachi being there.
You tell him to stay put while you go and deliver Ichigos badge.

Sadly you don't find the boy so you give it to his mother instead and you leave before Masaki manages to convince you to stay there.
With the delivery job done you picked up Kenpachi at the Urahara Shop.
You see them apparently praying for Zaraki to stay still so he doesn't destroy anything by accident.

You take a few steps away from everyone and observe Marr and Kenpachi exchanging some quips.
"Get in my way and I'll kill you Arrancar!"

All four of you now take your positions as far away from everyone else as possible.
With the tension rising it was only a matter of seconds until someone finally snapped and the first one to do it was Marr.
Seeing him close in on Dante you decide to join him in order to take out the most problematic opponent.

Guess I'll have to end this quickly!"
He snaps his finger.
"Quicksilver!"

Already knowing what to expect meant it wasn't too surprising for you but him using it so soon still scared you.
However what happened next you did not see coming.
Rather than witnessing Dante changing his position in an instant it's Marr who vanished without a trace and reappeared where Dante used to be.
With a singular strike he managed to send him flying straight into the coliseum wall.

Wedged firmly in the concrete Dante coughs up a little blood before he speaks.
''H-he broke through?
H-how?!"

Marr clenches his fist and roars at Dante.
"NICE TRY MAGGOT!
BUT YE'R GONNA NEED TO DO BETTER THAN THAT CHEAP SHIT!"

Witnessing this unfold before you left you genuinely surprised.
Up until now you thought that Dantes Quicksilver was invincible outside the fact that it eats up his energy at an alarming rate.
Then again, if anyone was going to be able to simply power through it was Marr.

However this still meant that you left yourself completely exposed for Kenpachis attack.

Realizing the mistake you just made you quickly raise Basilisco behind your back in the vain hope of blocking his attack at least partially.
And while you manage to do that when you turn around to face him he manages to leave a nasty cut on your shoulder.
With a backwards flip you try and gain some distance from him while he looks awkwardly at his sword.

You let out a little smile.
''Well... I hate to break it to you but that's not all.

Your wound begins to sizzle as the Einherjar close it shut for you.
At this Kenpachi marvels.

Laughing like a maniac Zaraki charges you again but this time you are not caught off guard.
His movements are a bit on the slow slide and they are incredibly predictable.
However this doesn't mean it's easy.

For every three, maybe four attacks that you can outright dodge you are forced into a position where you simply must block or parry his attacks.
And each time he strikes Basilisco you feel your hands go a bit numb.
After entering a clash you see sparks flying everywhere around you and you can't tell whose sword it's coming from.
Feeling the pressure increasing as he keeps pushing you jump away from him.

Releasing your grip with one hand you hold it out before you and find it shaking.
''Damn...
Just what are you made out of...''

He swipes his sword to the side and it levels the area next to him.
''I could ask the same thing!''
Now he holds it out in front of himself.
''It feels like I keep hitting a wall of steel!
I haven't felt like this in a long time! Actually feeling your enemy behind their blade...

You grab Basilisco with both hands and raise it in a high guard.

With one swift move he removes his eye-patch and a frankly terrifying amount of reiatsu begins to pour out from the man.
In response to that you begin channeling energy yourself.

Now next to the giant yellow pillar of energy is a turquoise one.
But as you transform you see the other participants getting ready as well.

"KILL! TIRANO!''
Now the third crimson reiatsu fills the night sky.
To which Dante reacts by engulfing himself in his white substance and transforming his body to one more fit for combat..
His black and blood colored reiatsu gets tangled up with all the other ones already being released.

You can see from the corner of your eyes that Harribel stands up from her seat and begins to organize the others.
"MOVE IT! MOVE IT!
WE HAVE TO CONTAIN THIS!"

And right she is because spectators begin to appear to see what the commotion is about.
Little do they realize is that the sheer magnitude of energy that's released here could probably kill most of them.
With the ground shaking under you it seems to be a bad idea to let this drag out for too long

Kenpachi looks at you with an expression that suggests he is experiencing pure euphoria right now.

You clench both of your fists and begin exerting even more energy.

As your blood almost reaches boiling point steam begins to pour out of your body.
"ASSAULT MODE!"

You get an explosive start by putting as much force as you could into your first step and then using Sonído on top of it.
The speed you managed to get with this in assault mode was enough to completely catch Zaraki off guard as you deliver a straight punch in his face.
As your fist connects the amount of force you generated sends a red, hot cone of heat shooting out from your fist.
Were it not for the protective barrier Pesci created and the others reinforced with their own energy this wave probably would have caused major collateral damage.

But as it stands it managed to send the unsuspecting shinigami flying backwards.
Not wanting to miss out on such an opportunity you began running and caught up with him as he flew in the air and pulled him back by his ankle.
As soon as he got close enough you wound up your next punch and with a single hit you smashed him in the ground.
Kenpachi starts throwing up blood as your hand is driven deep into his stomach.

It's unlikely that he got any long lasting damage from this but as it stands he probably won't be able to stand up at least for a few minutes.
Looking over your shoulder you see Marr holding Dante up by the arm and repeatedly punching his body.

He smashes him to the ground in much the same way as you did Kenpachi and he turns his attention to you.

He begins cracking his knuckles.

Looking at Marr you see that he also suffered a fair deal of damage in the shape of several, deep sword wounds.

He begins pulling his fist back in preparation for his attack.

You clench your fists and start concentrating again.

Again you shoot off much like when you attacked Zaraki.
It looks like while Marr can't exactly follow your movements he could predict them surprisingly well.
Your left fist connects with his right one and a shockwave of such magnitude is sent out that it shatters the reinforced barrier around the arena in an instant.
The expanding wave of sound was so fierce that it made both your and Marrs eardrums literally explode.
Sadly, most of the audience got similar albeit a bit lesser damage.

The two of you just keep standing there, staring at the other.
You feel a numb pain in your left hand and you fear to look at it. The same can be said about Marr.
However you both gather your courage and look at your limbs almost at the same time. And what you see shocks you.

While your hand is a mangled mass, Marrs is in an even worse condition.
Since his is not even connected to him anymore.
