Seeing the Capra tribe warriors charging you spurs you into action. You quickly weave the wind around you forming a cloak made of gale. You begin to rush away from the people and jump back.

On Tiberius’ side of the battle he is ripping through the battlefield. Nobody is able to stop his rampage as he just cuts through each person. Blood begins to flow rapidly across the battlefield as he falls deeper and deeper into his blood lust. As he strikes with his blade the blood rises from the bodies and strikes out at the living. Soon the whole camp is being painted red.

Suddenly your wind cloak dissipates and you begin to slow down. You look over and see that the Capra tribe leader is standing back with his hands outstretched towards you. Looking closer you notice that around his hands wind is swirling. The Capra tribe men begin to advance on with violence in their eyes

With your gale step gone you decide that you should take this seriously. You quickly summon your familiars. You almost immediately feel energy from Swift fill you up. Rapt begins to dive at them, and cloaks himself with wind. The Capra’s begin to duck and flinch in fear of Rapt.

With the Capra’s trembling in fear you set your eyes on the leader. You look over at him and see that he is trying to direct them over to you. With a cruel grin you gather your energy and direct it towards him. Suddenly he falls over with a shout. His followers give him a glance before going back to cowering. He glares at you while you examine Tiberius’ part of the fight.

Of course Tiberius is still cleaning through the enemy forces. Every step he makes another Capra falls. However, they have managed to actually put up a fight this time. Some of your men have begun to fall to their arrows or their spears. Unfortunately for them this resistance does not last in the face of Tiberius. He even begins to move over and clean up the foes being assaulted by Rapt. The soldiers being attacked by both Rapt and Tiberius begin to route fleeing towards you. The battle is being controlled by you.

Seeing the fleeing soldiers you decide to aid Tiberius in his clean up efforts. You cast Gale cutter causing large blades of wind to form. The blades leap forth towards the soldiers and cut clean through them. Seeing how effective it was you direct some of the blades over at the non-fleeing soldiers.

Tiberius, noticing that the fleeing soldiers are neutralized heads towards the Capra tribe leader. The leader raises his arms and you see his aura begin to form. It is a disgusting pink one that sickens you to feel. Unluckily for him whatever spell he is trying to cast fails. Tiberius continues to march on him raising his bloodied blade gathering all the blood on the battle field. You feel a slight tugging causing you realize what Tiberius is doing. The Capra’s eyes widen in realization and he tries to flee. However it is too late. The Capra trips and goes flying into the orb of blood Tiberius gathers, and with a swift motion the orb implodes killing him and raining blood.

The armor fades away from Tiberius’ body and slips away into the shadows. Once the armor is fully off of him he falls over. You quickly walk over to him, while sending your familiars away. Before you can offer him a hand he raise his and rises using his sword to lift himself.

“Well then that was easy”, he says breathing heavily, “We should focus on getting out men out of here. Do you have any plans with the remaining Capra’s?”

“We shall do what they wanted to do to us”, you say as you turn to direct the men to gather up the Capra’s. The men gather them up and place them in the center where the scouts were held. The scouts take some clothes from the Capra’s and get some weapons too.

With the Captives secured you decide to search for loot and make a great find. In one of the tents is a large pile of goodies. On top of the pile is are two large books written in a strange language. One has a pink aura like that of the Capra leader and the other one has a black aura that feels similar to the pink one and Tiberius. In addition to that you also grab the leader’s blade, but when you touch it you are struck by a feeling of dread. You also manage to find another three months’ worth of food in the village.

As you begin to head out Alexander walks up to you with a look of shame on his face.

“Please forgive me sir”, he says looking down, “they seemed to use mind magic. By the time we realized they were attacking it was already too late.”

“Don’t worry about that”, you reply looking over at him, “We managed to neutralize a threat and made a decent profit. Everything is fine.”

With that you lead the group back to the settlement. When you return you see that there was a group waiting for your return. When you are sighted a cheer comes up. You head over to the slave pens and have them gather in a circle. You then head over to Angelica with Tiberius to see what should be done.

“Oh they were great”, she replies turning over to you. “Ann was very good at watching them so no slave was injured.”

You wake up in the morning thanks to an odd smell that seems to coming Angelica’s corner. You head over and see that she is feeding one of the Geli’s some strange smelling concoction. The Geli smills as the drink enters her and the substance instantly dissolves in her.

“What was that”, you ask looking over at her.

“Oh that was just a failed experiment”, she replies with a sigh, “on the Brightside I can make them a treat they love. Although it is toxic to most people. Don’t worry I shall be hard at work. Now go do whatever it is that you do.”

With that dismissal she turns back to her labor and ignores you. As the Gelis crowd their mother you head over to the slave pens. As you look over you see that the scouts have gone hunting. You grab the hunter and he follows silently behind you. When you get to the forest however you are greeted by a member of the join tribe.

“I am sorry that we were not able to arrive earlier. We have been running into some difficulty.” At these words the Joni gives a slight nod and points to the pelts that are slung over the deer besides her, “I have come to trade some pelts with your people.”

“I shall take you for a husband. My name is Bosari and I am glad to be with such an interesting man. Please wait for a moment husband.”

With that she rejoins the waves leaving both you and the hunter in stunned silence. Before you can say anything about what just happened she returns in a more human form and walks over to you. She holds her hands out and you see that there is a small blue crystal, a small green crystal, and a gem pendant.

“This pendant contains water from this bay. With it I can always be as close as I can to you even when you are far away. This crystal”, she says holding the green one, “has the ability to allow its holder to breathe underwater. Finally, this last crystal contains the power of the ocean. If you shatter it a flood shall occur where you stand. Now let us be off.”

She stares at you expectantly and begins to head off towards the settlement. You quickly follow behind her and reach the settlement. When you get back you see that the crystal supply has dropped due to a low yield and the trades. The hunt was also not that successful and comes back with little food. Luckily, the brick makers have done a good job and many get made.

Your new “wife” introduces herself to the others and turns towards you.

“I should tell you these things”, she says glancing around, “as I am the spirit of the bay I can make it so fish ca be more plentiful there. Also, if you ever decide to move there or expand over there at some point I would be able to invade you from threats from the sea. In addition to that I cannot move to far away from the bay.”

With that information supplied to you all you begin discussion for the settlement.

The two of you leave the house you were staying in and head over to the lake. As you stare at it a hand rises from it and waves at you two. The hand vanishes and you head over to Angelica’s corner while she stays to talk. When you get over to Angelica you hear the sounds of excited chattering.

If you submit life will become better for you. Your tribe’s leader has already submitted to me, and if you do to your life can be so much better. All you have to do is lick my shoes.”

At those words you see them all begin to think. Most of them pause for many moments and the slowly they come forth. Soon all of them from the elders to the children are at your feet. After a couple more moments you lead them back to the pens which you tell them they shall soon no longer be in. You examine how the how things in the town are going. You awaken to the sound of cheering from Angelica’s area. You look to you side and see that Bosari has already left so you decide to head over to her corner. When you arrive you see that she is surrounded by the Geli’s.

“Oh hello Merric”, she says turning to you with a smile on her face, “I have just managed find some good information on the miasma. I will just need one more day and then we’ll have it.

“Ok then I will see you later”, you reply as you head out.

You walk over to the slave area and see that the Lupus look down submissively as you walk by. You finally stop by the Capra tribe area where they are together looking at them you decide that you shall.

You direct the Capra elders to follow behind you. It takes a while, but you manage to lead them to the training field. Once you arrive you tur to them and look them over. Despite the fact that they are the tribe elders they seem to be quite young. Ignoring that you begin to address them.

“Greetings my name is Merric Fellus and you are now slaves of me and my people. Now you may see you situation as a negative one, but it is actually better than you may believe. You know how we have also enslaved the Lupus tribe. Well they have recently submitted, and as such they shall be treated better. All that we ask of you is that you obey. Now run from here to the end of the field."

The elders give you a look and some begin to move. Despite the fact that they are moving they move rather slowly. You decide to accept their pace for now and guide them back to their area. You then begin to move around things to see how they are. You are pleased to see that a large amount of wood has been gathered. In addition to that the pens have been repaired from their previous damage.

Deciding that it is time to plan for tomorrow you head to the field used for training. There you see that all the guards and scouts are hard at work training themselves. Tiberius himself is leading the guards, while the scouts are being led by Alexander. You pull them over and head to Angelica to plan.

With the plan for tomorrow prepared all of you head off to sleep. When you return to where you spend the nights you see that Bosari has already made it there before you. You lay by her side and head off to sleep.

You once again wake due to Angelica’s shouting, but this time you already know what it is for so you decide to head to the lake. When you arrive you see that Bosari has already been standing there for a while. The two of you stand in silence together for a couple moment as you stare out on to the lake. After a couple of moments of this mediation you head over to the slave area. You head over to the Lupus pens and order them out of the pen. While they are out you decide to go through them to see what kind of abilities they have.

When you head out you see that the house that you ordered made for the slaves has been made. Your guards direct the slaves into the large communal dwelling and you can see relief on their faces. Once they are gone the Capra take their place while glancing over to the Lupus’ new residence.

You once again head over to the training area to see if Tiberius and Alexander are there. When you arrive you are pleased to see the progress your men are making. If you had to guess that as they are right now they could qualify as basic troops, no longer rookies. You grab the two of them and head over to Angelica and plan out tomorrow

You wake up to an explosion. The sound of the blast makes its way throughout the camp. Sensing that Angelica’s area was the epicenter of the blast you quickly rush over to help her. As you head over you see that Bosari is already there. You join her and see that Angelica and her Gelis are standing to the side of a small crater.

“Sorry about that Merric”, says Aneglica as she glances over at you, I was trying to make crystals that store miasmic energies, but it failed a little. I have managed to make an anti-magic crystal. It will explode violently if you apply magic to it, and the blast will eat through magic. The blast I just made was just from a tiny dose of magic. However, it is incredibly dangerous so be wary if you plan to use or store these. Just the tiniest amount of magic will activate it.”

With that warning she and the Gelis begin to try to fix up her area. Seeing that there is nothing for the two of you Bosaria and you head out. She to the lake and you to a house to examine the books. As you pick them you analyze them both. The pink one reeks of unidentified magic and the black one feels like the demonic sword.

You pick up the book and begin to read through it. It is a rather basic magic guide that seems to have been made by the village’s chief. However, the book in and of itself seems to be fine, it is what is inside the book that worries you. The book is a collection of spells hat are designed to have an effect on the readers mind.

However, you don’t have time to read the book as you hear things falling. You rush over to where the sound came from and see that the people trying to build houses accidentally caused the some of the logs to fall into the town hall. Before you can say anything Alexander and his scouts rush into te settlement.

“What are you doing”, you say moving back a bit in response to her words.

“Why I am calling her magnificence from the demon world. Once I break the barrier it shall only be a moment before she arrives in this world. Do you wish to be with me as she arrives in this weak world?”

“How unfortunate I had hoped that you would see reason and join me in worship of her ladyship. However, I guess you shall just serve as a sacrifice for the lady. Know that with your death the world shall become closer to how it should be. With the lady standing above all of it.”

With that a transparent dome forms over the circle and the lady turns over to face you. Her wings unfurl and lightning begins to flow from her hands. She flaps her wings and allows wind to hold her book for her.

Alexander sends a wave of water hurtling towards her. She easily dodges and send electricity though the water tio strike at him. It hits causing him to fall to the ground. She then forms bolts of lightning that strike you causing pain to flow through your body.

You turn over to her to press the attack, and are halted by another shock of electricity. The electricity breaks through your armor leaving you without your defenses.

Tiberius and Alexander both try to attack her simultaneously. Tiberius striking with his blade and Alexander with another arrow. She waves her hand and sends a fireball at the arrow burning it up. She then forms two chains of lightning and sends them towards Alexander and Tiberius. They try to dodge, but the chains manage to wrap around them. The chains shock them driving them to their knees.

“Amazing this is truly pathetic”, says your foe as she looks over at all of you with contempt. “I can’t believe I the lady choose people that were weak enough to be beaten by you as followers. Oh well that t can be rectified easily with your deaths.”

However, before she can drag them in she is struck in the face by rapt. Seeing your chance you quickly follow up his attack with a gale cutter. This time your wind blades fly true and strike her all across her body ripping at her clothes.

Tiberius takes this as an opportunity to get free. He raises the earth beneath him to get in between the chains and has the earth break them. Now free raise his hand and focuses on the lady. Her body freezes up and ceases movement. At this Tiberius smirks and calls forth his familiars.

Though Alexander take his time though he too manages to make it to the fight. After a couple seconds of straining he managed to coat the chains in ice and shatter them. Standing up he fires a purple arrow into the lady. She screams in pain and you see the arrow dissolve into her and begin to cause pain from within her. She struggles to speak, but Tiberius’ spell prevents even that.

Unfortunately, this causes her more pain as she moves against t Tiberius’ control. He quickly reestablishes it and moves over to her. He walks slowly with his blade raised high. His familiars and yours work together to cause her as much pain as they can before he gets there.

The three of you look over at the circle and nod. You each raise your hands and begin to gather mana. Tiberius manipulates the earth so that the circle is distorted. Alexander forms a wave of acid to remove the circle. Finally, you call forth a tornado to tear the circle up.
The results of the attacks are wonderful. Yours and Alexander’s attacks join together to form a tornado of acid. This has the effect of creating a more destructive, if more wild, technique. You decide to take note of it for later when you are fighting with Alexander. Tiberius’ attack takes the cake however as t rips the circle apart. The gathered energies dissipate and the circle ceases its glowing.

With the demon summoning taken care of the three of you head back to the camp. When you get in to town you see that things aren’t the best. The town hall has not been worked on and the slave houses you desired have not been made. When you go to ask about it you learn that the earlier explosion of anti-magic had effects throughout the camp. >C. Train obedience
Let's start with the basics.
>>
When you arrive at the field you order them into lines. When they don’t obey as quickly as you would like you begin to use the winds to push them around. After a few of them stumble they begin to comply more easily.

“I see that you all fail to realize something”, you say to them as soon as they are ordered to your liking. “You all seem to believe that this is a temporary arrangement. That is a flawed belief that needs to end right now. You, from the day you were defeated, have been our slaves. The chances of you going free are next to none, and would require extraordinary acts on both sides. However this is not the end for you if you obey and do a good job you can move up just as the Lupus before you have done. Now let us get to your training.”

For the rest of the week you strive to make sure they are obedient, and for the most part it does work. However, there are still small pockets of people who do not full submit to your will. As you are pondering this issue Angelica rushes over to you with a report on what she found. She found that the pink book seems to hold a number of spells designed to effect the mind. Both the black book and the sword seem to be linked to the same demon, with the book telling how to call her and the sword giving off her influence.

In regards to production the second and third slave houses have been constructed, and with the extra time that it took the workers were able to make sure it works well. In addition to that a good number of crystals were harvested, more than enough to make a gain even when getting the furs from the Joni. However, the hunters had a poor week, and were unable to do more than refill the village’s food supply. With this week being successful you decide to plan the next one.

You rise in the morning and head to the lake with Bosari. The two of you look over the lakes and enjoy the peace and quiet. Unfortunately, the silence is ruined quickly by Angelica shouting. Sighing the two of you decide to head over to see what is the issue. When you arrive you see that she is staring frustrated at the Gelis. Noticing the two of you she turns towards you.

“Their bodies are ridiculous”, says Angelica throwing her hands up, “I can’t analyze them properly like this it is so aggravating. Do you know what happens when I try to take samples? The device I use just dissolves into them.”

She vents for a couple more minutes and after a while you and Bosari decide to leave. As you head out you notice the books and decide to take the pink one to see what you can learn from it.

You pick up the book and sit down with Bosari by the lake. As you read you see that it goes into how one would manipulate another’s mind with magic. Unfortunately, you are not able to reach the best understanding of this form of magic. Try as you might a proper grasp of it eludes you. You are able to pull something from it, but it is only the most basic mind spell, suggestion. It will allow you to convince people to make actions that you prefer, and that those ideas are their own.

As you finish up your reading you see that the town hall has had some work on it. You believe that it is probably close to 40% completion. In addition to that the people in charge of herb gathering managed to get a good supply.

Before you have the chance to do anything about it Alexander heads over to you.

“Sir we have managed to find a weak spot in the bird beastkins defenses, an area they patrol less at night time. It would make for a great avenue for attack if we were to do it. Sir that shall we do?” he asks looking to you.

“Tonight would be the best time to strike at those beastkin”, you say looking over at him, “They shall pay for assaulting our people.”

With that you get Tiberius and form a war party. The group heads towards the beach and from there you stick to the shadows of the forest. Alexander and your scouts lead the way over to the cliffs where your foe now lives. As you walk you note that high up in the sky you can occasionally catch sight of some wings. Luckily thanks to the darkness they don’t notice you. When you reach the cliffs you stop at a small cave in the cliff.

“This is the path that we found”, says as he walks over to you, “If we follow the path we shall reach their home. Due to the high up nature they don’t have a wall. If we manage to sneak up on them we shall have a huge advantage.”

With that you head into the forest cave and make your way.

You lead the group into the cave and begin to follow the path that runs through the cave. The cave shows signs of light use and is rather damp. As you walk through you sense that the path winds up and there is a number of holes which wind seems to be coming from. In addition to that you can hear the sound of waves crashing into the cliffs.

Suddenly, you hear a strange hissing sound coming from a nearby wind. You extend your wind over to the hole to sense for what is inside of it, and what you find gives you a little alarm. Inside of the hoe seems to be a rather large serpent. Motioning to the rest of the group you begin to speed up so the creature does not get agitated. You make good time through the cage and quickly make it to the end of the cave and come to a simple wooden door. You and the group head through it and come face to face with the village.

“Now that we are hear Merric”, says Tiberius as he walks up beside you. “We could either launch a bombardments on them or we could sneak closer into the city.

We want them working, not dead. Especially since we are only few in numbers.
Also, do the improved slave pens have roofs? Otherwise they could leave way too easily.
By the way... what happend to the six fighters that tried to kill us? Do we still have them?
>>
>>1113077
Yeah, we still have them. They're "Train the Kids" option though we should have mind break our current beastkin slaves. That's why I didn't want more slaves right now.
Would we have an advantage since we're a wind mage?
>>
>>1113415
Oh, right. I didn't identify the kids as the six guys trying to kill us. We should break the Capra as a whole first. I think this miiight be bad for their motivation to struggle against us.

“We shall sneak in”, you say talking to the rest of the men.

The group follows your lead and begins to walk over to the forest. Despite your numbers you and your men manage to be extremely quiet. In addition to that you and the group are able to whip up some cover to protect you from sight.
When you enter the settlement you notice that it is rather well laid out. There are a number of houses all around the village, which is centered on a building with a large wooden tower.

“Sir how should we proceed”, asks Alexander looking to you. “I would recommend that we all split up so we could cover more ground. In addition to that it would be easier for us to have a small raid if we split up. On the other hand we could stick together and head in. If we do that it will be easier to detect us, but we shall have a number advantage.”

“From here on out we shall we are going to be moving as separate groups”, you say looking over at the two of them. “Your groups are going to be attacking the guards on the edge of the village. I will lead a group into the center of town and from there we shall move.”

With a nod you lead your group into the town, while Tiberius and Alexander lead their group to the opposite ends of the town. As you head into the ton you notice that it is very quiet. Luckily for you the movement of your men is covered up by the sound of the waves below. You soon make your way to the center of town, and from the shadows you examine the center of the town.

As you look out you see that you have reached the building at the town’s center. Looking over it you see that it is a rather long house that has a tower at the back of it.
