>How does sex with the Howl work?

It transmits her feelings to the pack, but at a lower intensity than her actual feelings. When White Fell kicked her ass everyone felt depressed. When Winnie kicked her ass they all felt a sense of triumph and relief that they interpreted as Winnie recovering from her defeat.

The pack will feel a sudden wave of intense happiness but they won't know if its from sex or watching a movie or spending time with a friend. A few acutely sensitive wolves might be able to tell if she has a particularly intense experience however.

>How the Howl mechanic works

Winnie can will the Howl to become extremely intense, even to the point of wolves feeling exactly what she's feeling. They will start to feel as if they -are- her. They'll feel the air move through her hair, they'll feel her heart beating. It's a very weird sensation, and Winnie doesn't run her Howl that strong.. It's normally at an intensity where her general mood and feelings are shared with other wolves.

They felt a mild sensation in the back of their mind. A wolf busy doing something wouldn't have noticed, but a wolf just sitting quietly would probably feel a little bit of happiness, but they wouldn't necessarily think "Alpha is having a fun time".

If she has a reallll fun time tonight everyone will have an unmistakable surge of happiness that they'll know could have only come from Winnie's Howl. And people will start spreading rumors.

A pack member could focus their Howl to better feel what Winnie's feeling, but they don't normally violate her privacy like this (her parents sometimes do though...)

Basically it's a super hero setting I had a huge hand in creating back on /tg/ with a focus on how different nations have different superhuman cultures and the diverse ways people can use superpowers to change the world besides punching bad guys.

It had a rocky start as I struggled to find out how to approach such a complicated setting (Ghoulquests' lore doesn't have a patch on it) but now i think I got it a good system going where the quest is basically a bunch of interconnected one shots situated around different characters, locations, and concepts connected by a metaplot of trying to start up a supplementary school for superhumans.

The current story is about a lightning powered superheroine who wants to make a small superteam with the goal of getting more superhumans involved in actual superhero activities.

I highly recommend checking it out. It's only the GREATEST SUPERHERO QUEST EVER! And I get lonely in the threads sometimes...

See that's what I find interesting is White Fell in WQ1 was pretty quick to enjoy human things and see things as possibly okay in terms of human stuff, I'm not saying she's going to like Anon boning Winnie but at the same time she was incredibly okay with being their slavepup until ____. Not to mention it's not like she's going anywhere. Her family will skin her alive, she has no friends, and trying to go live in the wild anywhere near pack territory (which also surrounds Anon's house I think) would be suicide. She's got to understand she doesn't have a place in Winnie's love life and I don't think it'd be that hard for her to grasp.

I guess I'd probably care more if we knew more about White Fell; the only thing we know about her is she probably close to Winnie's age, her pack is a bit ass backwards tech and culture wise, and she's pretty content being at Winnie's beck and call and following orders. She's not some nubile teen fluffball, she's been raised in an odd pack that "would kill her if they found out she failed," my faith in something like being bossed around mid-coitus messing with her is pretty low.

Some things to question about her background; She was a priestess but what did she do? Humans are still animals to her pack, has she ever killed/ate one? If her family would kill her for her failure what other horrific things has she probably lived through? If anything she's going to be grossed out by Anon and confused by Winnie but I still just can't see her going all broken over it. Nothing some chilling and relaxing won't fix.

White Fell even carved some crazy designs into the veneer planks. It surprised you how graceful she was with her claws. She carved little animals, plants, streams...it would have been cute if the animals weren't drawn bleeding out on the snow. And if some of those animals didn't look disturbingly bipedal...

"...Everything was so simple back in my pack. We were created from snow and blood. The gods all died long ago and we, the children of their blood, was all that remained of them. Everything around us...animals, the weather, hunger, pain, it was all our portion of the great death, our lot to bear and struggle against because we were dying parts of a dead god. Our purpose in the world from the day we were born was to eat and grow large and then when we were large enough to bear pups, and then continue out what life we had left feeding the pack so that it could grow large and by doing so bring more life into the world then there was before."

White Fell gives a quiet, uneasy growl. "No. Not simple at all. Your world...this larger world...I can't grasp even the smallest part of it. There are gods, and things like gods, and things that are neither gods nor wolf nor animal. There are things that are dead and things that are not dead, undead, immortal..." She clutches her head. "And everyday you...you humans deal with this. Everyday. You don't know why you live, you do not know why you were created. You do not even know if you were created by the gods or if the gods created you or if nothing was created and..."

"Stick to the matter at hand Fell. What's bothering you about this? What's bothering you about me and Winnie?"

"I fear it. I fear it because I do not understand it and do not know how to understand it...but unlike the moving picture lessons I can not turn it off or turn away from it. This...this taboo thing...the best way I can justify it to myself is to say that you humans are not animals."
