Looking to Vara and back at Azura, you get a devilish idea in mind. Azura then looked surprised as you suddenly close in along her side.

You gently caress Azura back and give a look at Vara. You whisper to the centaur princess ear and move the two of them into a more private tent.

Slightly embarrassed as she no doubt has your own idea in mind she waves her hand to have her handmaidens leave the tent for you three alone.

"You know, when I changed that jerk into Vara it wasn't only to save his life but also as a personal gift to you. Now that she is a proper servant you can use her for entertainment and advisor. She is still smart and has her memories, we could use that in this war, but first..."

You move to Vara, gently rubbing her breasts in a circular pattern in a slow and teasing way, making her blush.

"She needs training, both of you do, just because one is the master and the other is the servant is not excuse for both or one of you two to be lousy in bed."

Then you teach them and then teach you since as centaurs they know better what the right spots for their species are, you even get Vara to confess "experimenting" with her new body when she was alone. You three have a very busy night and in the morning you are all tired but happy.

Then the tiredness finally gets you and you fall asleep. You are back into your headspace, did Kagehana grow again? She looks... more adult and developed than you do or is just your imagination?

You then decide to go somewhere more relaxing, maybe a garden? You head to a beautiful garden with a full moon. Kagehana follows you.

You wonder how much the shadow demon has changed, how she has changed you and you have changed her. Clearly after your recent escapades with women quite a lot. Though from what you could tell it was an odd loop were you indulge, she indulges and then makes you want to indulge more. A vicious cycle so to say. Though by this point you don't mind it at all.

While sitting in the pleasant garden your mind drifts to what your friends might be doing, and what you want for them in the future. You... you want your friends and lovers to be happy. Maybe get the Imp and the bicorn together? Get Anna and Victoria drunk with Oni's sake so they finally end having sex? Marry Aki and Yuki? Encourage your kitsune sis and your demon sis to end together?

Damn... you sure are meddlesome, but you are not mother. You prefer a gentler touch while possibly not violence. You feel regret and pain because Mother... no... because Melena was too far gone, because you couldn't save her.

Reminiscing you look at the Mommy doll in your hand. It was Malena’s greatest possession but it serves largely now as a grim reminder of what had happened to that little girl. You wonder for a moment if Malena's plushie has her soul on it but that's a silly idea isn't it? After all, her memories were inside of you so it seems, so maybe the soul could rest elsewhere? Maybe. But you had no idea, and you were pretty sure a vampire’s soul dies when you pierce their heart with a stake. Then again Malena wasn’t an ordinary vampire…. You shake your head vigorously to rid the thoughts from your head. Such ideas won’t get you anywhere right now.

Suddenly you felt a glow forming within your pocket, the communication orb Auriel gave you radiated an odd glow, but you were technically still in your mental world? Who was calling you?

Looking at the orb in your hand you feel an uneasiness, the glow spoke more to your feelings dread as the orb radiated an odd dark color black color which it has yet to ever do.

Finding yourself gazing into the orb you forcefully pull yourself away and look over to Kagehana. “If anything goes wrong pull me out okay?”

Your shadow nods at your words as you once again turn to address the black pulsating orb, and bracing yourself for the worst, you ask the orb in a dry voice, “Who is it?”

The orb remained silent for a long while, only allowing you to gaze deeper in the twisting shadows it was conjuring, Hearing no response you begin the motion of setting the orb down while calling Kagehana to pull you back to reality, but as you turned your head you heard a low deep voice, “Hello there, I have been hoping to speak to you for quite some time now.”

“F-Father?!” Kagehana shouts as she rushes over to the orb. You for one didn’t recognize the voice but if Kagehana did and called them that… then you suddenly knew all too well.

“H-Hello…” you muttered back to the orb trying to regain your composure, however, this was bad. You didn’t want to talk with him here if anything it would be better to talk with him in person, lest he manages to place a curse on your person through your dreamscape somehow. It wasn’t outside the realm of possibility, if he could talk to you like this in here then you had no idea what else he may be capable of.

You call to your sister, “Kagehana, wake me up.” But she was too engrossed in the orb to acknowledge your words.

The low voice rumbled, “Ahh, my daughter, it has been a rather long time…” At the man’s words, Kagehana leaned closer to the talking device as if she had found a long lost relative after decades of searching.

“Kagehana, please wake me up!”

You shouted but the shadow remained silent gazing into the swirling abyss.

“Kagehana! Wake me up now!”

This was also bad, if she didn’t listen to you now, and wished to stay here you didn’t know if you could wake up forcefully.

The Master’s voice switched attentions, “Wishing to leave so soon? That is a shame, tearing a daughter away from her family not once, but twice is rather cruel. Not to mention the disregard for your old mage and the old crone.”

Every word he uttered filled you with ill sense.

You begin shouting, “Kagehana wake us up!” but she keeps staring into the orb. You grab the shadow by its arm and forcibly pull its attention toward yourself.

"Kagehana this man kidnapped you as a baby from your home in the Shadowlands and was using you as a mere weapon for intruders! He doesn't care about you like he doesn't care about his subordinates, remember how he cursed the globins heads to explode? How the Sorceress ended after that orb was destroyed? What has this man done besides stealing you from your first family?” Pausing to take a breath and to let your words sink in you end with, “We need to leave right now!”

Kagehana looked conflicted, first staring at you then back to the orb, and once more again seemingly debating between whose family she would tear herself away from. After this back and forth she stops on you, “Y-You’re right….”

“Is she now?” rang the black orb.

“Father, you... “

“No, I understand clearly,” a dark chuckle came from the orb, “I suppose then we will have to wait to have our civil talk in person.” He abruptly changes topics and once again addresses you. “But that meeting must not be so far away little girl, I am currently occupying an old witches hut and tending to a rather poor of health wizard.” he pauses, “I believe you know the hut and wizard in question?”

Slightly shaken but remaining resolute you answer the orb, “What are you trying to say…”

“That I wish to talk, and if I cannot do so using this then we would have to meet in person. Of course, the choice to do so is yours but, I can’t guarantee the safety of these two for very much longer. Our new allies are rather thirsty for blood you see.”

“Why you-”

“Though I promise that now harm will come to either them, nor you while we talk and that you even will be able to freely walk away once all is said and done. All I require is that you come alone, well as you are I suppose. For I will kill any other person who you attempt to bring with you.

Sounds like a trap if you have ever heard one, and his explanation did not require a direct answer so you preferred not to give him one and remain silent.

The orb rang one last time, “I really am looking forward to our meeting, be safe until then….”

You jolt up from your resting position in the bed, flanked by Vara and Azura. Soon a headache began to ring in your head and while clutching your temples Kagehana talked in your mind, “Onee-chan… what do you plan on doing?”

That was a good question, part of you was curious, another part terrified, and a third part confused.

“If… it helps at all, he promised not to hurt anyone and let you go, and he has always kept his promises…”

Her input didn’t help really.
