The Raiders, Part 7 – Session 1

Disciplining a dragon is a ting you would not normally contemplate, but there are times when even the most insane idea has merit. Since Yzia forced you to reveal heretofore unknown powers that you possess to your new cadre member and potential playmate Aeuna, a psychic Gish who is not entirely bright but has the cunning to know when he has learned something worth knowing, the urge to spank her with the flat of your Silver Sword is nearly overwhelming.

The fact that this excites said Silver Sword immensely is not helping all that much.

She has invoked the oath she made to you as a cadre-member to her Leader to not reveal your incredible and forbidden power, though she caught only a small glimpse of the true power you are currently hiding from the entirety of your race. Your paranoia is not undeserved in this case. It would be incredibly difficult to face an inquisition while possessing them, though Yzia' trickery did make for a plausible explanation that you now have a witness to back up. Of course, you would much rather not have to have anyone know about them at all. You are pretty sure you could have come up with a better plan.

Then again she does know you are a bit.... lot of a drama queen. But there are so many things that could have gone wrong when dealing with the Bloods of Dead Gods. You did manage to avoid touching them, or being touched by them, but it was a close thing that left you scorched and mildly injured. The injury was easily dealt with. The paranoia, not so much.

Yzia is making her way back to the Stronghold, you and Aeuna on her back in the harnesses crated by Siobhan, who is still interested in being used as a paddle. There are other considerations of course, the main one being if you get into a fight with Yzia you might have to pay a price for it, win or lose. It would not be the first such fight you have had, and they have always ended....interestingly. You still have a good amount of time to prepare for the Raid, long enough to rest and relearn your spells twice over and some number of hours left over.

Not needing sleep does have some advantages.

[] Tease and play with Aeuna a little more while Yzia can't participate.
[] Ask Aeuna what plans she has for preparing for the raid.
[] Talk privately with Yzia about her reasoning behind her little 'play'.
[] Discuss with Siobhan the possibility of her assisting you in a 'fight' with Yzia.

2=Discuss with Siobhan.

You people and your tie-votes, honestly.

It's a good thing Aeuna is good at precise wording, because otherwise things could have been a bit nasty if the vow was more to the tune of making Aeuna be Akko's equal in power, since that would be a terrible idea, probably not something Aeuna would appreciate, and I'm not sure if it's even within Akko's power to do so.
>>
>>1001084
I imagine Gith are pretty careful with the wording on Vows in general really.

[x] Tease and play with Aeuna a little more while Yzia can't participate.
[x] Ask Aeuna what plans she has for preparing for the raid.

You are nothing if not petty, and turning around to face Aeuna while Yzia is in flight demonstrates to her the incredible flexibility of both your armor and your body. This is mostly because it involves lifting one leg nearly parallel to your body as you sit side saddle, then doing the same with the other to face her. The widening of her eyes is gratifying, and you smile as you lean close, your hands moving to her hips. Siobhan, with only a nudge of encouragement, adds a little more padding to your seating to make you both more comfortable and more stable.

“Tell me Aeuna....you have been on a number of raids, and several, from what I can see, involve slave-taking.” You let your eyes drift over her, but it isn't her sash you're looking at; the darkening of of her full cheeks is amusing and a little arousing. You draw your gauntlets up slowly, along her sides in a clearly sensual manner rather than a petting manner, and the color in her cheeks deepens for you. “I am very interested in what you will be bringing to the game, with your previous experience....and I would be very interested in assisting you in acquiring more.” This you say as you slide your hands from her sides to her generous bosom, with a gentle squeeze.

She glances down, almost shyly, but you can tell it is more a case of her being unsure of what you are starting with her than it is about her uncertainty of her plans. “I have a dorje designed with spells to envelope potential slaves in ectoplasm; I have a set of expandable iron binds for much more difficult targets. Manacles and chains I have enough of for three githyanki sized captives.” Aeuna gasps as you squeeze a little more firmly and lean in to kiss your way down her cheek and to what portion of her throat is exposed. Her voice has a slight stammer to it as she tries to continue. “I....I will try to....ahn, try to collect more, g-given the....numbers of slaves we intend to a-ahn! A-aquire.” The last is because you gently bit her along the vein of her throat.

Siobhan is eagerly urging more intimate biting and squeezing, which is amusing. She might be worse that you or Yzia. “Well, I personally only require one, though two would be best....” you murmur into her ear before slipping your tongue along the edge of her ear. Your hands massage gently but firmly, cautious for the amount of padding given the size of her breasts. “My dragon wishes a princess, and I shall give her one....” You move to face Aeuna once more and her cheeks are dark blooms of indigo upon her cool grey skin. “Tell me, slave-hunter, why do you not desire any for yourself?” You slowly kiss your way back down the other side of her jawline.

Aeuna makes a small, startled noise when she feels your spurs along her throat as you give her throbbing artery a lick. “....I....I do not wish the responsibility of them....n-not as a responsibility of my own....I m-mean a responsibility for githyanki....” You make a small chirp of interest even as you slowly close your lips over the soft skin along her throat and suckle firmly, your tongue brushing the delicate skin lightly. Her breathing quickens as you squeeze and relax your grasp upon her soft breasts rhythmically. “I see it a-as a likening t-to....ahn, Akko, you are....”

Pulling away you murmur softly, “Go on....” before returning to the same spot, suckling and licking roughly.

Aeuna whines a little and then struggles to continue. “Like t-the way our p-people were eh-ensla-AEIGHT!” Her high pitched chirp of pain is caused by you sucking hard as you pull away from her throat, the dark bruise a near purple upon her throat. You hum softly, one hand sliding up to lightly trace the dark marking you've left, and allowing her to grasp your other hand in both of hers.

She shakes a little in her seat as you smile and look into her liquid eyes of brown. “I can certainly understand the thinking that follows that. It is strange how so many will just accept the bonds that others place them in, is it not?” she nods quickly and you kiss her gauntlets in turn, left and right. “We are home. Meet us in the Gathering Bloom.” You give her an impression of where an when you wish her to meet yourself and Yzia before the raid, as well as the others, and she nods, lifting herself and moving away towards the cells.

Very sensitive is she not? Yzia's sendings are filled with lust and greed alike.

Akko is. It tends to be individual by individual, as the Silver Swords are not necessarily arbiters, only recorders. Their wielders can be as widely aligned as anything, and bribery and gifts can sway opinions on wording as well as arguments can.

While Akko has never broken an oath or a vow, she has gotten around a few of each....
>>

>[] Hold your 'tongue' and consider your options for dealing with your companion.
Part of me feels like saying something about how easy it is to make Aeuna open up about different things (partially a double entendre, partially as a way of not approving that Yzia made us spill our secret) but on the other hand, Akko's going through pretty good lengths to get Aeuna to trust her to be open with, and that's with Akko having mostly good intentions towards Aeuna.

[X] Hold your 'tongue' and consider your options for dealing with your companion.

It didn't take you long to figure out what happened, of course. Yzia's smug reaction to Aeuna's invocation of her oath as a suggestion that she would not speak of your unusual power – which is not really a promise, only a reminder that you could kill her without consequence – gave her away. An air Sphere used to redirect a flow of the Blood of the Dead Gods toward you by surprise, and a rather over acted warning. If Aeuna had been more familiar with the locale, she would have known that what had happened was atypical. You hesitate to refer to it as impossible though.

You ignore the quizzical bemusement that Yzia projects, instead prompting her to enter one of the Blooms – which one you do not care about, only that she delivers you there. The thought that it may be the site of a duel is kept to yourself.

The reasoning is obvious, of course – plausible deniability is something you have used many times yourself, and that a dragon would grasp the uses of it is almost a given. She is older than you, but she is not necessarily smarter, even with the mystical augmentation of her gold-and-glass mask. That she would take such a risk with your life is both a measure of her trust in your capabilities and a measure of her own foolhardiness.

You right yourself and let Siobhan dissolve the rigging and harness she made for you, then move through the Astral fundament to take your rightful place behind the horns and bone of Yzia's head, wrapping your gauntlets in the chains that are pierced through her horns. Having you there pleases her, and you have to admit you enjoy it as well; this place is your true riding place upon your companion, even when she's an idiot.

She enters the bloom from the large draconic entrance, the guards perfectly willing to bypass any inspection or halt, given an even older, more powerful dragon is stationed there along with the knights and gish. There must be something of interest going on at the moment, but you have a dragon to deal with.

[] Dismount and have her take a humanoid form before confronting her.
[] Ask her what she was thinking when she doused you n the Blood of a Dead God.

I guess mainly what it is about Aeuna, that'd make Yzia trust her with our secrets? Like I should hope she wouldn't make the same choice with Yashi if given the chance. Sure Aeuna does seem pretty trustworthy but isn't that kind of worrying for someone who originally was hired to kill us?

[X] Ask her what she was thinking when she doused you n the Blood of a Dead God.

You direct her towards an open landing area. There are at least two other dragons in their natural forms here, both about Yzia's size, but they and a large group of githyanki are intent upon someone who is broadcasting from one of the plinths in a gathering area. Not privately, but you are out of range at the moment. Yzia might not be but at the moment she's too curious about your secretiveness to concern herself with it

Yzia, what in the Names of the Dead Gods were you thinking when you used an Air Sphere to spatter their Blood all over me? You manage to keep something of a rein on your outrage, but some of it trickles through. Enough to change her curiosity to cunning amusement. She had hoped to disguise the source of the jet, but it is a spell you are familiar with, even if you do not know it.

Sooner or later you will be forced to use that power, Akko, me beauty, and I believe that having the lovely Gish you defeated in combat able to defend your new reason for it to any who might inquire too closely would be useful. Yes, that is what you had thought. I had every faith in you that you could cope, given that it is supposedly the Blood of Gith I bathed you in.

I very sincerely doubt that whatever Blood you spilled on me was hers; or if it was then that makes me even more concerned for Her Majesty following in the footsteps of The Savior. Your bitter concern makes Yzia wary. Is there a particular reason you did not consult with me before your ill advised plan?

Her laughter in your mind is beautiful, melodious, and surprisingly kindly. Akko, you are many things, but an actress is not one of them. If anything you are dangerously straightforward in your drama! Well, she does have a point. Between Aeuna and I we could have coped with your rescue, would such have been needed, my lovely treasure.

[+] Write in: Does your pretty virgin's life mean so little to you?

She lands and you unchain yourself and 'leap' down to the ground cushioning your 'fall' via a touch of movement. You rise and walk a few yards away before you turn to her and fix her with a steely glare. Which might not look so steely from under a heavy crystal and gold mask, but the feelings that infuse your thoughts make it very clear that you are not happy.

You seem to be under the misapprehension that one type of power will attract more attention than another. Her confusion is write clear and large – you can even see it upon her draconian visage, though others might not read such an expression so clearly. The source of the power and the kind of the power is irrelevant. It is power and Her Majesty and Her Majesty's Knights are already taking an undue interest in me, Yzia. You let that sink in and her sudden surge of dismay is almost palpable. The Blood of a Dead God is no different than the gifts of the Elders, in their eyes, save that one is less likely to turn me into something other than a githyanki. Her Majesty would be eager to devour me in either case, is that is what she does. Your annoyance has devolved into a kind of dull irritation now, the facts of your situation becoming all too clear.

There is also one other thing you may not have taken into consideration – or perhaps I am misreading how attached to Aeuna you may be. If she had reacted in the wrong manner, you would have had to incinerate her corpse after I killed her. That thought doesn't surprise her in the least, and Siobhan titters at you for having thought that little of Yzia's affections towards you in comparison to another. Hush, Siobhan. Yzia, if it had been merely the Dead God's Blood that had been the issue, I would not be so incensed.

That had occurred to me, yes. And while she is interesting, and lush, and something to desire, I am distressed that I may have caused you more trouble, Akko, truly. You look up at her wide, cross-star pupils of glowing light, the flames that cascade forever from them to the edges of her eyes slower than usual. How may I make this right between you and I? Her capitulation startles you somewhat; you seriously expected her to try and asset some kind of dominance or pride, rather than this. Does she consider losing you that distressing? She'd better not be in love with you, or you really will beat her to death, Siobhan's admonishment or not, The Pact be damned.

You're not quite sure what to do with this excess of anger you still have.

[X] ….how serious are you about that, Yzia? Because I may just call you on it....
[X] Write in? She may be a fool of a dragon, but she is your fool of a dragon.

You shift Siobhan from your back to your hip, but your eyes do not leave Yzia as you do so. This is between she us, Siobhan, you tell your beloved Lady, and she whispers in that complex, sweet song that has become a familiar one now. Her amusement at being privy to things she should not reveal is subtle and almost sinister if it wasn't on your behalf she was keeping them. Someone else would most certainly find it sinister, perhaps even frightening that a Silver Sword could be corrupted to a personal agenda.

You haven't actually made plans or even seriously considered them, but things are becoming....untenable.

Do you believe your debt is worth more than our lives together? Your strange question confuses Yzia, and she lets you know that. Do you count your debt to me deep enough to break the pact, given the....needs of Her Majesty? It doesn't take more than a few seconds for her to realize what you are considering. We may return from this journey. Or we may not. If we do, I will still have to leave this Stronghold, and the only way that I can do so and not be considered suspect is to demand a Stronghold or a Lair, and a Stronghold would place me in much the same problem. A Lair, however....

A Lair populated by your own people, your own choices in cadres and Leaders. You would still have to overcome a few hurdles....but it would be a start at making a place of safety for yourself. You have a few other alternatives, perhaps, but this is too good an opportunity to waste.

You are asking if I will break the Pact for your sake, Akko. This is not a small thing to even suggest! You narrow your eyes, and guard your thoughts well. She stares down at you, disbelief in her thought and expression. The price for that is unimaginable, Akko. I do not know if it can even be done. Her thoughts are small and soft, unsure in a way you didn't even think was possible for a dragon. Or perhaps it is your expanded consciousness that makes it seem like that.

Yes, my treasured Akko. her tongue lightly, ever so lightly traces your lips, the thinner stalks along the tip a series of brushes along your lips, leaving them burning. She turns and leaps, headed for her own cell, undoubtedly.

I sure hope Yzia realizes her blunder has shortened the time before Akko has to leave, but also that it made her realize what really matter.

[X] The near mad half-elf who tends your terrariums.

You rise, moving through the Astral fundament by will alone, and you very quickly make your way through the interior gate of the Bloom towards the passages through the Stalk. Here there are cells for the warriors for the most part, though 'warrior' can also include a certain number of expert and powerful skulkers and murderers of very high rank. It does not include gish or knights, which is part of why you chose this route as opposed to an easier one to navigate. Siobhan warns you of anyone else traveling in the tunnels before you reach them, allowing you to slide past with minimal effort and even less interaction.

When you reach your Preserve, it beings a smile to your face. Removing Siobhan from her sheath, you slide her into the gap, and listen to the bars that serve as tumblers matching themselves to her curves and barbs, the levers pushing and moving other tumblers and objects, the clockwork mechanism finally satisfied when you have inserted her whole length into the opening. The doorway shifts, the quartered pieces of the circular doorway parting on individual hinges to allow access.

Siobhan makes a wicked impression of the various acts of sliding her into various things into both a sexual and warlike innuendo in the same thought. Your response of not being sure which you would really prefer at the moment only makes her purr most happily.

Your Preserve is the second most important of your properties within the Stronghold. While your Vault contains your treasures and forge (and thus is the most important of the properties), your Armory contains excess tools and weapons, and your Cell contains your living space and current leisure distractions, your Preserve is the place where you keep some of your sanity. Here there are growing things, imported from various planes and worlds; crystal walls giving the impression of a material world and sunlight (or, as it is at the moment gentle rain and mild thunder and lightning); and your pretty Cyrillian. The only other property that matters is your Chamber, and you may never need to retreat to it.

You are unsure if Cyrillian is her name, her ethnicity, her slave appellation, or if it has any meaning at all. She responds to it, which is enough for you. You wind your way through the hydroponic section to the planters, around them to the spider-hives, carefully herded by the to crysmals that you use to both guard this place and keep the etherspiders from overwhelming the place. The etherspiders are metallic creatures that pollinate your flowers, hunting for stray beads of ectoplasm that the flowers create or gather. The two crystalline breasts bow their heads/lower their tails in deference to you and you murmur to them in the ignan tongue you share, though they cannot speak.

You will always wonder why they know the tongue of flame and fire despite being creatures of earth and stone.

Cyrillian sits on a soft stool near one of your terrariums, though as you understand it this is an arboretum, as it is suspended by wires and has a small ecosystem of its own within. There is an opening through which the half-elven girl watches the shimmering butterflies that flit about from orchid to orchid, or alighting on stones and vines. It is a fairly large globe, nearly three feet in diameter, and there are twenty-three butterflies within, all bright and shimmery creatures that look magical in their beauty. She stares at the arboretum, still and silent, her breaths slightly quickened – most likely because of your words to the caretakers.

[X] Write in? Perhaps she might have an idea about helping you relax a bit more – once you have yourself under control.

Come to me, Cyrillian.” Your lilting sylvan is accented with the soft hissing accent you have never managed to defeat entirely. You suspect it's an issue with jaw structure. She turns slowly, and looks at you, wide eyed; though she is naturally pale, her expression is a reminiscent of someone in injury-induced shock. Which hasn't changed since you became her owner, really so that is unsurprising. Her eyes are a soft aquamarine color, something you have seen only in half-elves or in undines. Her hair is a pale red-gold color, as if whatever deities deigned to have a hand in her creation could not decide if she would be strawberry-blonde or copper-locked.

The half-elf rises, her thin silk dress clinging to her very nice curves in manners that have little to do with the gravity – or lack thereof – in this place. You admire her openly as she approaches you and she relaxes some, as you work to reduce your simmering feelings to something that will not result in this pretty, strangely broken doll's untimely demise.

Siobhan's disappointment is only half-feigned, you suspect.

Assist me from my armor, if you would, Cyrillian.” The delicate beauty immediately moves closer, as you set aside your belts, Siobhan, and your war-regalia. She has more strength than her elven counterparts, and a sleek, delicately boned appearance that is more than human. If you dared breed her, you could make a fortune on her get you're fairly certain, but she wouldn't survive the experience, and your not that twisted. Murderous, abusive, volatile, yes. Not warped. “Thank you, beauty.

Her only response is a slow duck of her head and a slight attempt as what might be a curtsy. You let it pass, such things matter little to you. Taking her by the hand you use your other in the gestures of the spell of Prestidigitation, as you speak the spell aloud. It serves to bathe you; while you occasionally use perfumes when you play with your slave, this room is inundated with more natural scents that give you a warm, relaxed feeling of home that all your other refuges lack.

Turning her to face you, you run your bare hands up her smooth, taut belly, and she shivers lightly, one delicate hand coming to rest on your hip as she lower her head and closes her eyes. Not in denial or resignation; Siobhan was quite clear on that count. No she is imagining someone else, someone other than you. Which you always thought of as quite interesting.
>>
>>1001380
Will you assist me in relaxing, my pretty Cyrillian? I would be ever so grateful. Perhaps I would be able to indulge you in a dream.” The sublimated anger and irritation is easily turned to mischief, and perhaps you might learn something interesting. A quick thought to Siobhan allows you to set up the game. “Perhaps there is someone you wish to see again?

Finally she speaks, your question enough of a prompt to require it. She usually avoids it. Her bifurcated tongue gives her a faint lisp. You know for a fact that it is not naturally bifurcated. “No, thank you, my lady.” Siobhan giggles wickedly at having captured the images in her mind.

As you wish, my pretty one....” you murmur as you lower yourself to kiss her slowly and gently, playing wit the tips of her mutilated tongue with perverse pleasure at the idea of her thinking of you as someone who rather resembles a mother or an older sister....

>>1001373
>>1001378
Both of these would be fairly accurate. Akko is known for being volatile with her slaves, and Cyrllian has had other owners before Akko who were not nearly so helpful or kind - and Akko is often kind to Cyrillian as well as demanding and cruel at times. Githyanki as a whole are vicious, and it is considered better to lose a slave than to lose your temper with other githyanki, caste or warrior.

I'll be home in an hour to answer any questions.

Akko needs to calm down on creating drama for a long while, she has enough of it already.

Also, letting her slaves calm her -in inventive fashions- sounds better than just destroy them for momentary relief.
>>
>>1001401
Well, when you're feeling high-strung and aggressive you probably want to be on the giving end more than the receiving, however calming.
>>
>>1001404

Dunno. Being tended to at spas, massage parlors and the like is known to be soothing.

Wonder how Akko acquired this half-elf, and if it was just a fancy, or if there is an actual reason for it
>>
>>1001388
Akko has owned Cyrillian for abut twenty-five years, though she's been a slave for much longer. Akko suspects she's been a slave for close to three hundred years by how she acts and how lose to insanity she is, though that could also be a result of multiple abuses some of Akko's included though she's never physically abused Cyrillian beyond a light (for her) slap or two. Akko keeps her isolated for number of reasons, one of which is the risk of her going psychotic and killing other people. Cyrillian, not Akko.

Yustuoc has been Akko's slave for about 150 years, A personal capture that she was quite proud of at the time. Yu has adapted quite well to her situation, and has permissions to work with the weapon-smiths guild to craft arms and armor, and keeps Akko' weapons and armor in excellent shape. She crafted Akko's half-plate. She is very strong and extraordinarily tough, though Akko is stronger; she will sometimes refuse to serve, nd Akko wll beat her senseless, chain her up, and physically and sexually abuse her, Akko knows she enjoys it more than she will admit to, especially the facts that Akko is both smaller in stature and female. She doesn't ever push Akko when Akko is in a dangerous mood; she's been present at some of Akko's temper tantrums, and has absolutely no desire to be on the receiving end of that particular brand of violence or death. She seems to be under the impression that this is some kind of hellscape that the orc gods have placed her in, with her unnaturally long life, lack of breathing and eating, and lack of sleep all contributing to that belief.

Krysta has been Akko's slave for about seventy years or so and has definitely lost something in the experience. Akko has systematically abused and rewarded her in equal measure until she has become quite dependent on the treatment she receives from Akko. Oddly, this has helped her weather the facts of life in the Astral Plane, and as mind broken as she is, Akko has some affection for her - the sort one might have for a prized pet. She too has seen what happens when Akko is in a terrilbe mood, and knows how to survive it better than most slaves, guild members, and other githyanki do,

Akko is not a very nice person - but she is a good githyanki.

Akko has had a total of 38 slaves of which she has kept 5 and killed 15. The two that she kept and did not kill died of other astral phenomena related causes.
>>
>>1001423
Githyanki are not fond of people touching them when they are trying to relax unless they know the person very, very well.

This is due to a species trait that has become instinctive: when you are relaxed and something touches your head, neck, or face, you try to break its mental hold over you and kill it before it eats your brain.

Needless to say, massages and spa days are kind of rare outside of mated githyanki whose pheromones and psychic bonds prevent the instinctive reaction from occurring.
>>
>>1001425

Does Krysta still qualifies as a sage?

Also, why did Akko do this to her? Just for fun?

Krysta is actually a medium level wizard.

A wizard who hasn't slept in over seventy years and only has 4 cantrips to her name: Read Magic, Detect magic, Prestidigitation, and Dancing lights. She has no idea how to recover her spells (and in fact, cannot because she cannot functionally 'rest' in the Astral Plane).

Akko did this to her for a few reasons. Yes, she likes abusing people when she's in a bad mood, but there are two other reasons. One is to see how frangible human psyches are in comparison to githyanki psyches (and what she learned dismayed her quite a bit - human minds are strangely resilient even after systematic abuse, and githyanki minds are actually more likely to snap) and also to see if Krysta's mind could adapt better with something to stave off the ennui. She's already 'lived' longer than a normal human by a number of years. Akko suspects her need and fear keep her in a kind of homeostatic mental condition.

Also, Akko gets off on playing with Krysta's emotions somewhat which is rather perverse on her part. She's genuinely interested in seeing if Krystal breaks out of the cycle of abuse and affection. humans are fairly unpredictable that way, while to Akko, githyanki are not. They invariably go berserk and get themselves killed or kill themselves.
>>
>>1001572

Uh.

I'm thinking that offering a trip to the material plane to our slaves got to be interesting
>>
>>1001586
Akko suspect it would kill or destroy Cyrillian, it might cause Yu to have a religious experience or disturb her mentally (Yu is the strongest of the three in terms of psyche, but the weakest where it comes to rationalizing), and she's not sure what it would do to Krysta. Her suspicion is that returning to a material plane would give Krysta the jolt she needs to try and break free. Or possibly crash her insular little headspace if Akko lets her go free.
>>
>>1001590

I see.

Well, we could test that theory with the wizard. See what happens when she gets her spells back.

Or maybe we should knock her out, bring her to the Material Plane so that she sleeps eight hours or so, then bring her back to the astral with the means to re-prepare her spells.
>>
So wait, it's probably that I was really tired but I'm kind of blanking on why Akko's feeling the way she does about Yzia.

Like is the problem with the Dead God's Blood that killing it is enough to give her a lot of EXP, or does it not actually kill people, but instead try to infect and infuse them with a chaotic mish-mash of divine power?

Also the reason Akko wants to leave to form a new Stronghold as soon as possible is because she's wary of how much attention she's getting (but doesn't she need a True Silver Sword to do that, which would raise its own set of issues?).

And the reason she might have to kill Yzia is because Yzia is bound to the current Stronghold by vow, and not just the Githyanki in general/Yzia might gossip if we leave her behind/might have no choice but to tattle on us to Her Majesty about how strong we are?
>>
>>1001606
Akko might do that if she could think of a way to limit her spells epcifically to the ones she can deal with personally. Lettign even a mid-level wizard with a loadout of spells inside the Stronghold would be considered very poor form. Akko is smart enough to realize she might not be smarter than the wizard, even if she has her emotionally browbeat into submission. She's fairly sure that she isn't being fooled....but she doesn't KNOW.

>>1001665
The problem with the Dead Gods' Bloods is that they can grant power, be it supernal might, divine power, arcane magics, or otherwise. Power, as she said to Yzia, is Power, regardless of where it comes from. And the last thing Akko wants is anyone realizing she's anything more than a very creative, very intelligent gish. The fact that she can use her incident with the Dead Bod's Blood to explain her Mythic power doesn't mean she didn't acquire strange new power from the God's blood as far as everyone else is concerned.

Formign a stronghold requires a True Silver Sword. She could possibly get away with creating a Lair (a smaller material plane locations to raid from) with a Silver Sword, but becoming a Supreme Leader means you get the True Silver Sword = whether you want it or not. She is absolutely certain that if she tried to turn over Siobhan for reforging or further enchantment, questions will come up - Siobhan has mythic power as well, and isn't the average silver Sword anyways.

There is a Pact, between this clan of Solar Dragons ans the githaynki as a race. What Akko suggested to Yzia - to come away with her, to leave the githyanki and the clan of dragons - means she would have to Break that Pact. Now, Yzia is not a young dragon - she is an Adult, and is old in terms of Astral Existence, but that is not a small thing. That's something on the order of living under a brokered deal between Tiamat and Asmodeus, and then breaking that compact from her point of view. It isn't something to be done lightly or without reservation.

The issue is that Yzia knows things about akko that Akko cannot allow anyone to learn - her Mythic Power is only part of it. she knows Akko's friends, her allies, her slaves, her property, the treasures she keeps, everything. she has a good grasp of how Akko thinks, and how she might react. Those are things an inquisition could find out, with or without Yzia's help. And if Akko leaves, it will be with a Silver Sword. They send entire Strongholds after those things - groups of Githyanki 200-500 strong.

The loss of True Silver Sword mobilizes githyanki ARMIES. If anyone suspects that Siobhan is DIFFERENT, they will send several strongholds after Akko to get Siobhan back.

This does in fact imply that Tzanzi might be in even more danger than Yzia - she knows Siobhan intimately.
>>
Well, when Akko leaves (hopefully without destroying the half-elf in the process), Yzia has all the chances of getting ganged up by dragons and Knights, then tortured, killed, and milked for information.

I doubt the Important People would tolerate even a dragon not revealing what she knew sooner.
>>
>>1001723
Oh, so Yzia's trick wasn't to test whether or not Aeuna could be trusted to know about Akko's power, but attempt to deceive her about where that power came from and thought that made a difference (also I'm not sure whether or not Aeuna was fooled)
And the reason Akko is starting to panic a bit is she's wary of Aeuna talking or she remembered how many people were watching her fight with Aeuna and knows it will only get worse over time?
But if Akko does get approval to form a Lair without being caught, does that prevent Yzia from coming along, or does anyone she asks to bring with her have to be really carefully vetted? Or is Akko thinking ahead to what could happen if she isn't able to get approval to form a Lair and needs to bug out, in which case they'd target the fuck out of anyone who seems like they know Akko.
>>
>>1001785
If Akko forms a lair she can take Yzia, and she would very likely vet people she could take carefully. And Akko is viewing all those situations - and startign to make several contingency plans. She's very intelligent - she doesn't have to make a single plan work if she can keep her eye on the real goals she has to achieve. The Raid could be a stepping off point as well.

Ultimately, the actual decisions belong to you wonderful, lovely people.

Part 7 – Session 2

Cyrillian is delicate in a way githyanki are not.

It is less her build, which is somewhat slender and fine-boned, as much as it is her softer, more supple muscles. The delicacy of her bones is part of it, yes, but human or elven muscle is just....softer. You are strong for your kind, and she feels fragile under your hands, the tendons delicate and springy in her wrists as you grip them in one hand, her thigh between your leg warm and giving. Your other hand caresses the soft flesh of one breast and here there is more similarity between you than almost anywhere else on your bodies. Her sharp gasp as you squeeze, pulling firmly upon her nipple; even this has the distinctness of another kind of voice, another kind of reaction.

Trapped upon the resting cushions as she is, her eyes tightly closed, you move against her, drawing pleasure from her body with the ease of practice. The half-elven beauty, despite her proximity to madness, is sweet and pliant under you as you kiss her neck, rubbing your thigh against the place between her legs that has a mere crown of coppery-blonde curls. She is an adult by her kind's standards, you know, but she seems young merely because of her elven blood mixing so strangely with her human blood. As if those characteristics that would lend her more adult statures simply failed her.

You are looking forward to playing with a true elf all your own again. It has been far too long.

The delicate creature arches under you as you press, a soft shuddering moan slipping from her full lips. The tips of her injured tongue poke out and you kiss her again making her moan into your mouth when you lightly pluck her nipple.

[X] This closeness is just fine.

You slide your hand through her coppery locks, much lighter and more delicate than your own hair – or any githyanki hair for that matter. She allows you to take each of her wrists in your hands; holding her arms over her head, you start moving slowly and firmly along her body, caressing her breasts with yours and pressing your thigh against her crux in slow, firm rhythm. Her response is immediate; she arches her back and wraps her other leg about the back of your thighs, trapping you along her her body.

Well, so to speak.

Another slow, deep kiss and she writhes against you, as you make love with the tragic, beautiful, dangerous beauty beneath you. It would take so little to send her over a much different sort of edge than the one she is approaching now, and you feel no regrets for having taken her from her previous and far more cruel owner. You murmur to her in the soft lilting tongue that she taught you. “I wonder, if you could decide, whether you would want to continue this strange life you live....” She arches and cries out as you lick her neck, crush her folds and petals with your slick thigh.

Siobhan whispers wordless song into your mind: the strange dreams of the woman whom Cyrillian imagines you being, the fragile understanding that this place is forever for her, the intimate knowledge of how much this place means to you, the pleasure that you give her as you hold her captive and caress her body with yours....

With deliberate care you kiss the scars along her shoulder, where spurs, the faux-fangs of one or another githyanki have been driven into her delicate pale skin and torn free, repeatedly. Cyrillian arches and shudders, and then jerks, gasping as her body accepts enough pleasure to take her over that peak. You laugh softly, liquid and hot in her elongated ear and she looks down in the act of shyness, her flushed body shaking beneath you. She trembles as the aftershocks spill through her delicate body and you nuzzle her cheek until she turns to accept another slow, deep kiss.

>>
[X] Let her recover.
[x] Your turn now.

She is breathing heavily, and while the nature of the Astral fundament does not allow her body to deteriorate from lack of exercise, she was a delicate creature before she became a slave. You have only a guess at how long this beautiful, half-mad creature has been a slave for your kind, but whatever skills or powers she had – if she had any at all – are long lost to her.

With exaggerated care you move off of her to settle next to her, half turned. Cyrillian tuns into yo, and you embrace her as she recovers her strength after her climax. She gives tiny jerks and shakes at times; not entirely from pleasure, you suspect. You stroke her soft hair, and she calms a bit more, though that tension she seems to carry at all times is once more within her. Even that is reduced as you lightly play with her hair, trace her sensitive ear, let her half lay along your body.

You study her carefully, more carefully than perhaps you have in a while. It is a little difficult to decide how much different she would look from others of her kind; half-elves, in addition to be rare as slaves go, take on different looks dependent on their parentage. So it is impossible to say if she looks well, healthy, drawn, or distressed save for in the most basic of ways.

Of course, since you will need to memorize spells in any case, there is one thing that is recent and newly possible for you to manage....you retain the power of a Glimpse of Truth. You reach over her, and brush her soft breasts with your larger ones, and she opens those aquamarine eyes and looks up at you. You look back with a smile, feeling for the pouch at the side of the bed. Her expression is at first pleased, happy even, but her eyes are glazed, unfocused. When they do focus, her pleasure turns to confusion, then fear, then a dull emptiness that you are more familiar with, though she is still smiling slightly at the end of the array of strange expressions.

[] Guide her into giving you the pleasure you desire now.

There are certain things that Akko takes for granted - she's pretty certain that she will notice any minor scrying magics, and never notice any powerful scrying that actually manages to work against her (low perception, very high will save), and as noted earlier most detection spells will not work through the walls of the Stronghold just because they are thick stone. Those used in the presence of others have obvious tells a well (glowing pupils, etc.).

Also, this spell is self effecting - it doesn't reveal anything to anyone but Akko.

My apologies for insinuating something like that. I meant wards if we attempt something Mythic.

[X] Pet her for the moment; that was a little strange even for her.
[X] Cast the spell and get a much more intimate look at the lovely girl.

The telepathy you possess isn't particularly invasive, it is only a means of communication. You often wonder what you would have been like if you had decided to develop those abilities, usually when you are dealing with someone else and want to know why they are the way they are. Cyrillian is a strange little creature, and things like that are one of the reasons you wonder about the power of reading another's mind.

You stroke her soft hair, and she nestles against you, her hands clasped at her breast, her eyes wide and 'shocky-looking' once more. She is warm, and soft, and so very odd. Not that you have helped her become less so, if you were to be honest. On the other hand she is one of your more prized possessions, not merely because she is soft, supple, beautiful, and talented with her fingers and tongue, but because she represents a personal triumph against a stronger githyanki. Kissing her temple, you feel her relax slightly against you and some of her fingers come to rest upon the upper slope of one breast.

Upending the pouch onto the soft chamois of the resting cushion, you push the gems and glass trinkets about with your fingertip, looking for a particular stone. Cyrillian half-turns to look at what you are doing, then turns back and closes her eyes before nestling close once more. You can't help but smile at her even as you find the lozenge of multicolored tourmaline that you need. Though there is a little silver sphere of mithril that might be fun to put in your plaything's navel.

After a few more minutes, during which you stroke and pet your slave into as close to sleep as is possible in this place, you lift the tourmaline to your eye and invoke te power that is yours by long, arduous work. It only takes a few seconds, and the beautiful half-elf opens her eyes to look at you and watches you as you cast the spell. She is unafraid of the results, though she knows that horrors can come from spells cast upon slaves in this place; this is more because you have never used magic against her, only to heal her or give her pleasure. Any pain you've caused her has been deliberately physical, and relatively light compared to her previous owners.

The spell takes hold and for a moment you see things as thy truly are.
>>
Which, you have to admit, is entirely not what you were expecting. After a quick sweep to check for spies, scrying sensors, and other unwanted eyes, you turn your attention to the beauty before you, and blink in surprise.

It's one thing to see the aura of her convictions, that simple grey malaise that is apathy in the face of both morality and ethos. It is also one thing to see that her mind, damaged as it is, is slowly but surely fraying at the edges and will one day collapse into psychotic madness or unending catatonia. The fact that you are holding a snake headed reptilian female against your body is pretty much entirely unexpected, and so very much another thing.

It isn't merely a polymorphic effect or a seeming of any sort. She truly is fleshed and bodied as a young half-elven woman, and the transformation is perfect and permanently imbued in her nature. Your Glimpse of Truthonly lasts for a few heartbeats, but not even a magical detection spell would have revealed this. For all intents and purposes she is as much half-elf forever more as you are githyanki; she wasn't a lizard-man though. Something else entirely. Even as the spell fades you understand that this is beyond mere spells. This is a transformation based in ritual magic far beyond your skills to manage currently. It does explain the reason her previous owner bifurcated her tongue.

[] Huh. Well, it is your turn now....
[] Gently check to see if she has fangs still.

Understood, but Akko is very limited in her selection of spells - wards are not something she is used to concerning herself with, so she may have to research and learn a spell for that purpose (which you do have time to do). Yashi is an expert at such matters however, as most illusionists are.

It is not; it is very clearly something entirely different to any polymorph spell or transformation magic that Akko is even remotely familiar with - and she is VERY familiar with magic of all sorts (nat 20+spellcraft of 24 - and she still only thinks this was done by some ritual magic and alchemical transformation).

[X] If Yzia is close enough, contact her and ask if she can identify a species of reptilian humanoid for you.
[x] Huh. Well, it is your turn now....

You reach for Yzia, whose telepathic bond with you is the result of a permanent bond rather than a trait either of your kind posses, and discover she is not within any protective area. If you are not to annoyed with me, my beautiful one, I have a rather pressing question you may be able to help me with. Your deference I meant to assuage any possible issues of pride or ego that have risen since you last saw her.

Her response is neither subdued nor annoyed, but you have piqued her curiosity, which seems to be a fact of life between you and she. I am not, and it must be a pressing question indeed for you to interrupt your play. Siobhan giggles in your mind.

Perhaps you could identify this creature for me? The image is clear and you keep the image to the serpentine creature that Cyrillian used to be, rather than the superimposed vision you were privy to.

An ancient race of snake people commonly found on most material worlds that are very ancient and have an abundance of reptilian creatures. They have no true name they use for themselves, and the most common name for them is the obvious one. They do call themselves 'the children of Ygg', when they must identify their kind.

....You mean they are descended or formed by the will of one of the Dead Gods? Your surprise and awe amuses her greatly, of course, and you feel your cheeks heat up. Well, that is....unusual indeed. A strange accident of chance, and nothing more then. Thank you, Yzia.

Her laughter is music in your mind. Of course my treasure. I could deny you nothing. Nothing at all. Her mental impression of the repeated phrase is intimate warm, and filled with a sense of warmth and affection laced with fear and the hope for more wonders to be witnessed.

Not sure if it's a coincidence or not, but while I'm not great at judging the quality of death metal, but that doesn't seem like a bad album.

Hm, while Akko is still prepared for the possibility that she might need to bug out and cover her tracks via murder, I'm not 100%, but I imagine Yzia knows Akko well enough to know that Akko might prepare to do that, and thus knows -exactly- the full extent of what saying she can deny Akko nothing means. Even if it kind of amounts to Yzia not wanting to preemptively sell Akko out or have to fight her to the death it's still a really big gesture and should be met accordingly I guess.

[X] ….my beloved companion, you will find your trust returned many times over.
[X] Write in? My love, second only to Siobhan, you have made me this happy.

My lovely, beloved companion, you will never regret your words, nor will your trust be anything less than returned tenfold. You weave your words with desire, images of yourself and her entwined in lovemaking and lust, even as dragon and githyanki. Her pleasure and the relief that your images and feelings give her are returned in a nearly overwhelming manner.

Would that I could join you with your lovely little near-elf; I am making certain arrangements for my Vault during the raid, and collecting certain desirable things for use during it. The memory of the last time you and Yzia shared Cyrillian is vivid and gives you a little frisson that makes said half-elf open her eyes to look at you curiously. Besides, I want that princess. The naked lust and greed in her thought is enough to make you laugh aloud, which causes Cyrillian to stare at you for a moment before she lightly and almost absently strokes your breast.

As my plaything has finally recovered from her stupor, I will enjoy her on your behalf, sweet Yzia. I look forward to seeing you. She agrees and you turn your full attention to the delicate half elf before you.

Cyrillian lightly strokes your breast several more times before you lean back and bare your body, posing yourself for her as you flick the cracked and flawed tourmaline across the room for one of the crysmals to have as a snack later. She looks up at you, her hand becoming still upon your skin. With a delicate lick of her lips, she looks down your body, and slowly runs that hand down your breast, your belly, your thigh.

Encouraged, you shift and move, making yourself more comfortably as the delicate woman sits up, her other hand sliding through your thick obsidian locks to draw them out of her way. It is gratifying to see that she does not require too much prompting to return your favors. There are times when it takes more than merely prompting.

Her fingertips trace your dense, powerful muscles; though you are as lean of build as she is you weigh much more. Leaning down the aquamarine eyed half-elf slowly runs her tongue along the valley between your breasts, her eyes closing before she slowly plies that clever, damaged tongue along your aureole and the hard peak. Her other fingers dance lightly up your inner thigh, and then along the bare places between, exploring with skill and experience those folds and places that are similar to hers. You arch and make a soft pleasure noise, which does not distract her in the slightest.

[] Just let her play for now.

It looks liek Cyrillian is heading on a one-way trip towards crazytown, and honestly if we need to flee or, in what seems like the best case scenario, take an extended stay in a Material Realm it'd just be cruel to leave her in the hands of anyone else again.

[X] Force her to look at you as she plays this time.
[X] Slip a finger in her mouth, both to tease and to investi- ah, explore.

You lift a hand and allow your arm to brush her perky breast, as you trace her lips with your fingertip. She parts her lips and you slip I into her mouth readily, even as you shudder as she reciprocates with a finger inside another pair of lips that belong to you. Her tongue licks and teases, the tips moving with fumbling independence of one another. You trace her teeth making her moan and shift, even as she slides a second finger deep inside your sheath. You bear down and she begins to move them in earnest, her thumb stroking the delicate cluster of pleasure spots at the apex of your sex.

To your surprise, her teeth and mouth are entirely ordinary, entirely half-elven. There might be other differences within her body, but externally (and sexually) she is absolutely what she appears to be. There is no evidence of hidden fangs or alternate bone structure within her soft, hot mouth. Not that it would have necessarily stopped you from allowing her mouth between your legs – she hasn't bitten you before, and you've had more dangerous mouths there, TZANZI.

Your soft laughter causes her eyes to open slightly and that faint confusion is back. Despite this her fingers only slow, not even a hesitation. Her other hand moves to trace the delicate brows you posses; your cheeks, with their harder edges and planes beneath the soft skin; your sharper, less full lips. She starts to close her eyes once more and you slip your finger from her mouth to cares her cheek and run your thumb over her closed eye, opening it to look into the bright aquamarine.

“I want to see you.” Both eyes open, and she looks confused, her fingers pausing in their explorations. “Look at me. Look at me, Cyrillian.” It takes her a moment before the fingers inside your tight flesh move once more, but her thumb gently slides around which makes you gasp and bear down. A faint smile touches her lips as she sees your expression, and you keep your crimson eyes fixed upon hers. “Yes. See me, seeing you.” She leans down and places her head against your chest, looking at you and tracing your hair with her free hand. The other moves to take advantage of the freedom of being closer, and she slowly plunges three fingers into your very wet center, while her thumb rolls over your delicate nub and the hood over it. Her eyes remain on your face and you look back with a warm, elated smile.

While you have no talent for mind control – thank the Dead Gods' Names – you are an alluring person by nature and device. Keeping her eyes focused upon you is not easy; they keep wanting to slip closed But your hand in her soft, copper-gold locks is helping, as are your mental murmurs of the name she possesses, the only thing she does possess. When they do slip closed, it only takes the softly spoken reminder that you are here, that you wish to see her beautiful eyes to make them open.

Every time they do open, she seems confused that you are not whom she expects, but her gentle caresses of your hair and the slow, deep slides of her fingers into your heat only slow for a few seconds before she continues. It isn't long before you can't speak her name aloud, your center tightening, your abdominal muscles heaving between held breaths (instinct, even after these many centuries, still holds you fast in its grip) but you cry out your pleasure in her mind, encourage her to watch you.

You come, violently, with those aquamarine eyes gazing at you in mixed wonder and confusion.

With shuddering, desperate breaths that mean nothing you roll over and gently pin her to the cushion with your body, giving her kisses and whispering soft, gentle assurances she has done well, pleased you greatly. Her delicate, weak arms embrace you, her hands laying across your back, her elbows at your sides, and her face along your shoulder.

The softly murmured sylvan words take you by surprise. “It was my pleasure, your majesty.

Everything falls into place instantly. A half elven bastard child looking like some human queen's husband's get, showing up, entering a palace; seducing a ruler, spying, mostly likely controlling their mind and encouraging certain behaviors. A shape-changed plant meant to manipulate a long dead ruler, accidentally collected by a raiding party, and traded to various githyanki warriors who almost never learn of her true nature save by accident. Her purpose lost, her mind a fragmented and confused whirl of impossible experiences she was never meant to endure, she slowly slips into madness as she pretends she is fulfilling her purpose, a purpose older than she can imagine any more, in an alien and cruel world of strange beings.

Stroking her hair you kiss her softly, chuckling liquid amusement into her pointed ears to her confusion, and hold her for a few moments more, letting her dream of her lost purpose and her satisfaction at fulfilling it once again.

[] Let this be her last, happiest thought and deliver her soul to her Dead God.

Like without the heavy use of magic and psychic techniques that would probably cost more in terms of favors than is worth spending, we probably can't refurbish her original role as a sleeper agent especially not out of novelty. Also I'm unclear on even if all goes well with the Raid and we don't need to go on the run, how long we'll be gone from her perspective and how close she is to the edge, and if we do form our own Lair, if that means we'll be stationed in the Material for the long haul and thus have to leave her behind one way or the other. ...But on the other hand, part of me feels like if we are gonna kill her, I wanna see what effect allowing her to dream will have on her psyche first, assuming Akko hasn't really done it before. Like we can't see what happens if she's dead.

[X] Kiss her and render her unconscious temporarily so she may actually dream for a while.

Though she is a liability – in several ways – and her slow descent into madness is apparently unstoppable, she is, despite all you put her through, a good girl.

You lift yourself up on your elbow and gaze at her calmly. She opens her eyes and looks at you....you speak the words of the spell and her hand slides from your hip, her eyes falling closed and her body utterly relaxed as you sap every bit of her strength from her. Another spell and a gentle caress with Chill Touch and the last bit of strength she possessed is gone. Her mind does not react to your telepathy, and she is as close to sleep as she can possibly be in this place. You use the arcane forces in your aura to draw one of your spells back to mind, and with a touch of infernal ichor drawn from a vial laying upon the cushion you restore her soft skin to it's pristine, unwounded appearance.

Sadly the effort to heal her tongue using that method was wasted.

Unconscious and hopefully dreaming, you arrange her comfortably on the cushion, and place a freshly plucked flower in her delicate hands. This place being what it is, the flower will remain as it is forever, unless you do decide to take her to the material worlds. Gathering the scattered gems and beads and the two vials, you pour them back into the pouch and secure it once more. With a sigh you secure your armor and Siobhan and decide what to do next.

[X] Time to go see what Yustouc is up to.

Cleaning yourself and your sleeping slave off with Prestidigitation, you put your armor back on and unlock the door once more, making Siobhan purr with delight. Why she does this, you're not entirely sure. Nevertheless.

Moving at a more moderate pace than you usually prefer, you take your time moving through the tunnels of the Stalk, heading towards the Center. You would have sought out Yzia, but she seemed busy as well; undoubtedly planning for the escape you might have to take as well as for the raid itself. It might be nice to return and finish a few last things, but you might not have that choice. On the other hand, you can get away with a lot more during a raid than you can in the Stronghold.

The idea of healing the shattered psyche of your delicate slave-girl has some appeal, especially if you can turn her to your own ends as what she was meant and trained to be. Now that you have an understanding of what is going on in that weird little copper-gold tressed head, that makes things much easier. Between you and Yashi, you could quite possibly craft a world for her to interact with that could heal her mind quite a bit.

Of course, that would mean you need to work out a deal with Yashi, which could be interesting all on its own.

You slide down varied passages and tunnels, refusing to acknowledge any hails, salutes, or mental contacts. The one exception is the nearly tentative mental link from Kteine. Your mercy, Gish Akko. May I repair to your cell and await your consideration there?

Ah. She must have discovered the issue of being a polyphilic member of a trio where only two are mated.

[] You may. I will return in a turning or two.
[] I am in transit. Shall I meet you at your cell?

[X] You may. I will return in a turning or two.
[X] You may, and I will be there momentarily.

The 'filtered' quality of the sending indicates it is most likely a Mindlink rather than a sending or natural telepathy. Nevertheless, you can tell just from her wording and the desire for company that she is suffering from emotional turmoil of one sort or another. The causes could be many, but her lovers are undoubtedly the center of it.

You will find my Cell open, and you may look about if you wish. I will return as quickly as is feasible. You don't bother sending reassurances; she wouldn't be able to sense them over the tenuous link of her psychic power. That she can manage it after having met you is interesting all on its own.

You can't feel the gratitude in her reply but you can supply it on your own well enough. You have my gratitude Akko. I will await your arrival. Yes, definitely in need of counsel. And maybe some distraction. Yustuoc might provide some of that. Though stealing her from Falna seems more and more appealing as time goes on. But that's because you're cruel and vindictive.

Sliding through the Astral Fundament a little more quickly, you reach the thicker outer edges of the Center, where many have their own Vaults and Refuges. The locations of your properties are a little out of the ordinary for others, especially as scattered as they are. Still your reasoning is sound – in any given location of the Stronghold or outside it, you have a direct line to one of your properties. It was an idea novel enough that Tzanzi followed suit, and a few others picked it up from her. It just made sense to you....you didn't like being too far away from somewhere with spell components and weapons that you could use.

You slow, hearing noises which you probably should not be hearing from your Armory. At least, not ones you should be hearing when you are not in it. The peculiarity of them is largely based on the fact that only half of them are feminine, and they're not of the kind that would indicate another female I participating.

Drawing Siobhan, you draw enough power from your collected arcane force to restore a Shield spell and retreat to a distance that you can cast it without being overheard. You also cast a Cold Fire Shield just to be impressive, and feed arcane force through and wickedly whispering Silver Sword of your personal acquaintance, igniting her in a confused radiance of seething acid, arcing electricity, and clashing cold and flame. You power makes the inherently conflicting energies meld and combine, turning Siobhan into a seething mass of glittering color and deadly power.
>>
When you arrive at the bars of your Armory, the gate is open and your slave is being bent over the anvil and used forcefully by a brute of a slave. He is at least eight feet tall, hirsute, and incredibly powerfully built. Yustuoc could be enjoying it, or she might not; he has one hand one the back of her neck and is holding her down, while he has the other lifted high, letting you see the massive dark shaft that he's forcing her. She is not a small woman, but his girth and depth are making her hard belly bulge from within.

It turns slightly and shifts so it can push deeper, and your slave gasps breathlessly and grits her teeth in pain. The creature rumbles in the tongue of your slave, and she grunts a hateful response. Oh. It is a bug bear. A really BIG bugbear.

And it is currently fucking your slave.

The smile that spreads across your lips just feels bright, vicious, and bloodthirsty. Siobhan 's song in your mind is a wicked, sweet melody of bloodlust and pleasure. The knowledge she imparts reminds you that you also have a spell empowered by that ancient Elder power....and you are entirely ready to shed blood.

[] Ask politely if you are interrupting anything of import....

I'm torn between killing it then asking if we interrupted, or just making a rather distracting wound before doing the same. I mean, where the hell would a bugbear have come from, anyway? Should we play around with it first?

I'm surprised anyone bothered keeping a bugbear around, let alone unsupervised. Though I suppose he's pretty much doing what he was kept around for.
>>
[X] Siobhan can make your introduction for you.
[X] Write in? you will deal with it as only you can. And by it, you mean your slave. The bugbear is just an incidental annoyance....

You simply walk in and glance about. No warriors visible to ambush you, but that doesn't mean there are not any. Yustuoc does not look happy or pleased, and despite how rough you are with her, she doesn't seem to be enjoying the attentions of the male as much as she claims she usually does compared to your affections. It might have been consensual on her part still, but if it was she is definitely regretting it now. You might not understand her tongue, but you recognize curse words in most languages.

You don't even pause in your stride, and when the bugbear's ears twitch at the sound of you stepping low and forward in a lunge it is already far too late.

When you drive Siobhan – who responds to your impromptu assault with a mental shriek of glorious joy – up the bugbears ass and through the entirety of its abdominal and thoracic cavities the noise is unreal. The beast grabs you slave more tightly as he goes into horrifyingly violent spasms and she howls as he tears her flesh with claw-like nails. Flames burst from his lips as they frost over, and arcs of lightning erupt from his eyes. He falls back as his body slumps, and collapses, hollowed out from within by Siobhan's power and your brutal attack – what remains of his liquefying guts and innards spills out of the widening hole in his backside.

Yu rolls over on the anvil, gasping for breath and looking at you with wide eyes as you look down at her calmly. “Interrupting something, I take it?”

She draws a ragged breath and looks at you in awe and fear – but not merely fear of you. It only takes one word to confirm your suspicions. Another slave in your Armory isn't a typical occurrence, and you like to think Yustuoc has some level of courtesy for your workplaces.

“....t....t-trap....”

The trio of warriors that come in from the side, ceiling, and behind you halt, their shifting, shadowy disguises failing as they move. You hold Siobhan off to the side and down, and draw yourself up, your eyes flashing. The trio of unknown warriors hesitate, and then you smile, slowly. Your telepathic sending merges with Siobhan's and you speak the word even as you give them the impression of what is about to happen to them through the telepathic threat.

RUN.

Thank you for reading and playing.

There will fallow a poll to determine where anon wishes to take Akko's new spells that she will eventually gain. You do not necessarily need to know the exactitudes of the system, only understand that Akko is fond of spells which buff/protect herself, do large group damage, and can be useful in general if neither of the above apply.

Nothing is set in stone via the poll, I am just interested in seeing how anon would like to move forward. Please remember she will only be receiving two spells, bu will be able to learn more. These two are merely her personal make and indicate the direction you would like her to progress in.
>>
Well, I say we should give Yustuoc the best sex ever, once she's recovered.

Also, whoa.

>>
>>1004950

>>
>>1004968
Perception to notice the invisible enemies (failed totally, though she suspected because she's paranoid).
Inititaitve to see who went first, her or the enemy (including the bugbear). She went first by far.
Intimidate because holy fuck reaming a bugbear with the magic sword from hell (she rolled terribly, but Akko isn't particularly good ad scary compared to lethal - but her lethality gives her massive circumstance bonuses on her intimidate checks, especially when she oneshots a bugbear up the ass while she's on fire).
Sense motive to determine her slae's state. (Not very successful, but she knows Yu pretty well.)
Attack roll because anon is all about killing bugbears. Damage from the fire, acid, lightning, and freezing cold you shoved up his ass, followed by damage of the three and a half feet of barbed and curved silver along with the strength and magic bonuses added to the elemental damage.
>>
>>1004972
>Well, I say we should give Yustuoc the best sex ever, once she's recovered.
I doubt we'll have the time if we're supposed to meet with Kteine, but we should keep that in mind for later.
>>
>>1004972
Well, most people don't actually expect you to show up already armed and armored, or to actually prepare before walking in on your slave fucking around behind your back. Akko is slightly less impulsive when it comes to combat than most of her kind. She can still be terribly impulsive, just not about warfare.

>>1004977
Well, the really didn't expect her to show up out of the blue, they just prepared in case someone did.

that it was Akko herself was part of the circumstance bonus for her intimidate check (the other two being death by massive damage to the bugbear and looking fucking amazing when girded for war).
>>
>>1004969

Well, I feel like some kind of regenaration spell, that would allow people to recover from major, crippling wounds both in battle and outside of it, would be interesting for her. Though I'm not sure if she'd rather know if she can heal over simply not being hurt at all.

Otherwise, something to make her more reactive, dodge more and attack more would be good. Or maybe some kind of zone spell that allows her to move freely into a given area and attack/damage the people who are in it.

Or, given her style is more based on STR than speed and agility, maybe something that make her stronger AND let her tank more damage without being hurt.

Other than this, any kind of spells that both hinder her enemies and give her more battlefield control, like a mist field that disadvantage (and damage) her foes but leave her and her allies unaffected. Spells to do AoE damage wouldn't be bad, either, but eh.
>>
>>1005016

monstrous Humanoids are humanoid creatures with mosntrous aspects or clearly inhuman natures. this includes and is not limited to: centaurs, medusae, serpentfolk, minotaurs, hags, etc. Most importantly it can change her size to huge, or diminutive, and she gains many of the powers and abilities and defenses of these forms.

Mind you, those four spells are in her libraries, and it will take her hours to scribe them into her own book - she can't use them currently of course.
>>
>>1005268
It's unlikely that it is a test; or if it is a test, it is one that the takers are oathed to silence about. but the act of damaging property - and slaves are property - is reason enough to contestany findings, inquisitions, or at least cause srious mayhem for. Akko doubts it is a test. It is far more likely to have been meant as a goad or a slap in the face to piss her off by one or another enemy.

In your setting, were the Children of Ygg snake people the whole time, or were they originally that made an extended series of staggering mistakes?

Also, why Ygg?
>>
>>1006619
>originally human
Is what I meant to type.

It seems kind of interesting that Akko doesn't seem to have heard of them before (which isn't surprising because while she's very smart, she's hardly omniscient) but Yzia has.
>>
>>1006619
In this setting the serpentfolk arein fact the children of Ygg, and have been serpentpeople the entire time. Although it is worth noting that because there are multiple material planes in which they can exist there can be many groups of them scattered across many worlds with many reasons for existence and reasons for their rise/fall/continued power to exist. The fact that their god is dead would the single universal constant, and that might not even be help true across all those planes.

Yzia is also quite a bit older than Akko, and has seen much more than Akko has in many material planes. Dragons, bigots that they are, do take note of reptilian civilizations more often than human ones, and the fact that serpentfolk live several hundred years and are deep delvers into arcane mysteries helps a great deal.

Akko's Spellbook

You don't need to know what these all do, but if you would like to learn about them, here is her actual spellbook.

http://pastebin.com/WjH8UfyY

Akko tailors her spell choices to her current needs and whims, so there are no 'particularly useful groups' of spells as of yet.

Needless to say, her spellbook is a pretty hefty piece of work.

Akko's spellbook alone is probably something worth a whole adventure to get, for most heroes.
