I shake my head, and grab her, wrapping my arms around her and lifting her up like a toy. She squeals and laughs, kicking her feet as I hug her gently, careful not to hurt my own mother. Not that I could.

"Your poor smile's gotten all scary" She says, looking down at me as I smirk "awww sweetie"

"it's always been like that" I say dully as I set her back down on the seat "and thanks for telling me mom"

She just smiles and begins to look through the pamplet

"Ooooh a spa especially for scaled monster girls' She says, nudging me as I reach into my hoodie's pocket and fish out my lighter and cigarettes.

Glancing over my shoulder to make sure she isn't looking, I smirk as I see her flipping through the magazine they gave us when we got on this thing, with sparkling eyes

Leaning outside, I smirk, and light my cigarrette as I see the beach in the distance, both black and white.

Blowing at the smoke, I instantly feel myself calm and chill out as all the smoke obscures my vision. Its going to be so nice, I'm finally strong enough to actually stop Jessie from carrying me around like a doll now, and I'm a badass dragon, I can do all sort of stuff, I mean I'm practically the queen of monsters right? Oh I can make some girls rub my back while using another as a foot stool, get them to feed me snacks under the threat of a nice beating. This is fantastic, I just feel so powerful and...and alive!

I blink as the smoke blackens infront of me

She starts crying, bawling about how she doesn't want me to go and leave me alone out here in the big scary city. I just hold her, and let her kiss my cheek before I step out into the street.

I look around, as the bus pulls away, back where it came

"LOVE YOU!" Mom yells, waving at me, making me wince as I stand next to a patch of over grown grass, and an wooden bus stop with graffiti painted over the side "Make sure you"

I can't hear what she says after that, as the wind picks up and whistles. I look down, and see I'm on the edge of the city, with three bags filled with my things next to me.

Well, a new beginning I guess, time to make people scared of me here to, and make them know to run when they see this face of mine. Hell maybe I'll even make a few new friends here, but I doubt anyone who isn't as saintly as Jessie would want me as a friend, since I am after all

I don't know if I should be excited or terrified. I know, I'll be both!

I stand in the cold, not really sure what I'm supposed to do now. I have a map, that mom made for me showing me where my new home will be, and places she though I'd like. I frown, she's still so smothering, even though she knows I'm not going to see her in...however long.

I frown, well I hope she doesn't do anything stupid to try and stay close to me. Well I'm on my own I guess.

I lick my lips as look around, before I start to drag my bags to the city, looking at the sea as I go, lost in thought.

What the hell was that dream? I mean I've been having some pretty weird ones lately, like beating the hell out of someone all dressed up in armor for some reason, and...eggs...just eggs, no idea why I was dreaming about eggs might've been hungry now that I think about it....but this was weird, I was under some kind of massive tree, and I was actual dragon chewing on its roots. I felt...trapped almost and there was this real annoying bitch of a rodent as well.

I stop for a moment, frowning deeply. I usually don't think about my dreams much, but i don't even remember falling asleep and.

"Ah" I sigh shaking my head "its probably just a dream, I don't think there were any fairies on the bus anyways, no reason to worry about it"

Now I'm talking to myself like a crazy person, fantastic. Maybe it has to do with hormones or something. I shake my head and look up at the massive sky scrapers in the center of the town, there are three of them, each connect to a part of the...kind of island chain? its weird, I read up on it while I was changing, apparently they did a lot of renovating and construction to make this place....what it is

I frown when...I remember and chuckle

"Big sis is here isn't she" I say happily to myself...seriously need to stop doing that before people think I'm insane

I haven't spoke to her in awhile besides holidays, since she's been living here and...well home's a bit too cold for a giant snake I suppose, and she said something about liking the water to... I frown, I had been trying to avoid her for a bit, since she could easily pin me...but she's still my sister, and I'm a monster girl now so I have no reason to be jealous of her anymore

Besides it'd be a good time to catch up with her, maybe get her to show me around.

I look around the pristine street I'm walking down, the snow white sidewalk and weird looking, almost smooth asphalt in between it. Steam rises off of it and I stop when I notice there's giant glass tubes under it. Are those mermaids down there...wait I think I can see some coral and sand to but...its too deep for me to be sure...what the hell

"May?" Pam asks again as I sighh and shrug, scrunching my face up as I look around, digging my bare feet into the concrete

"Oh sorry just taking it all in" I say happily, trying to not get distracted again "Yeah, I'm just coming into town, so...if you know where the bus throws us off, I should be around there"

She hisses, groaning as I hear her tail coiling around, it almost sounds like metal groaning but...meatier I guess, always sent a chill up my spine for some reason. Actually...it kind of sounds like when my scales meet, except...lighter? softer? I dunno it just sounds odd to me

"What street?" She says, yawning half way through what she's saying

"Lemme look" I say walking up to one of the signs, muttering "get out of my way" under my breath as I push a big and chubby blue skinned girl with a black horn sticking out of her head.

She yelps and cowers, covering her head with hands almost as big as my chest.
