"Look, let's ignore this guy and get you to that Spire huh?" You say, judo flipping the robed guy onto the floor with a well placed roll of your shoulder.

He tumbles to the ground and protests furiously. "Wait! Wait! You haven't answered the questions."

"We shall walk and talk. Perhaps you should ask quickly, since that wall is pretty close." Fox says, and you detect a hint of amusement.

"Fine, you. Fox, what have you learned?"

"That the journey is as important as the destination. I should experience the world and enjoy it, company makes life worthwhile and that you taste like old dawnkrin." He finishes with snark

You try not to grin, "It only took you twenty visits rodent." The robed thing says which makes you worry for the stability of the dream.

Apparently he's toned out the steward though. Thank Minerva for small mercies. "And you.... uhm... warrio-lady?!"

Bonus Unlocked: Demense Increase - Forest of Zen

"Well, first of all I learned that I've started to get too focused on the future, forgetting to think about the present." You begin as you pass the silver pond and scarred treeline. "And as strong as I may have been in the past, I can be so much more now." You take a deep breath in and give Fox a reassuring smile as you begin to approach the strange wall of colour shifting sludge; eyeing it as you give your third answer, "And even though I should always try for a peaceful solution, I shouldn't feel too bad about enjoying fighting and bloodshed. It's no ideal but it's a part of who I am." You finish clapping your hands together cracking them slightly.

"Well then I'm glad you've learned something on your journey." The spirit says, if you could see it's face you'd imagine it to be that of a petulant child.

"I learned that inscrutiable sages are inscrutiable." Fox grumbled as the thing just sort of totters off.

"Not so much inscrutiable as an asshole." You sigh.

The wall glops ominously as it towers over you. The autumnal reds and browns swirling and occasionally forming into one big bubble that pops or retreats like craters of liquid into the wall's surface.

Craning your neck you see where it meets the silver sky sea with a shimmering aurora of light. Everytime you try to focus on the colours of light that reflect and refract off it it seems to change.

"I find myself at somewhat of a disadvanatge here." Fox admits.

"It's fine. If you hop into my arms I can just walk up." You tell him spreading your arms to be caught.

"Now this may be and odd place, but gravity is still a thing." He says looking at you with as much incredulity as a Fox can muster.

"Trust me." You say, to which you are greeted with a furry lump leaping into your arms. Holding him as you would a baby, you jump and place the soles of your feet on the goop. The liquid turning to a bright vibrant green in a seven foot radius from your position.

You take a step and unlike most times when you walk up walls. this takes effort. It's like wading through a swamp while super tired. But you take another step and another step and begin gaining altitude.

"I don't even know why I am the slightest but surprised anymore." Fox deadpans.

"So...." You exhale in exertion, you feel like your carrying more weight with every step "Spire huh?"

"Yes, the sooner we get there the sooner I can learn my name." He says. "But-what will you do afterwards."

"I'll... move-ON" You shout out as you foot gets stuck fast.

"Are you okay?" Fox cries as you try to yank the foot out using your other leg as leverage.

"I'm okay, I'm okay." You reassure him even as your other foot gets stuck and you begin to slowly feel yourself sinking. The vibrant lime green beginning to change into a deep dark blue now that your foot and ankle are being absorbed. "Shit!" You curse.

A calm comes over you as you look up to the silver sky sea. A drop of the water hits your cheek as you begin to sink to your shins into the blue muck. "Hey Fox. You go on ahead, get to that spire." You tell him with a sad smile, you really wanted to see him get his reward.

"No! What about you? We need to do this together!" He protests furiously, squirming in your arms.

"This is your quest, I was just along for the ride for a while." You reassure him, "Reach that spire, for both of us." You cock your arm back like you're about to throw a javelin instead of a fox.

"I'll remember you." He says, "I'll reach that spire and be back for you."

"I'm hard to kill. I'll be fine." You say, "See ya Fox."

"Good-bYYYYYYYEEEEEEEE" He manages as he goes rocketing directly upwards, slamming into the sky sea with a colossal splash that ripples for miles around and sends a torrent of silver water down on top of you as the muck reaches your waist.

You spit, cough and wretch it up your face turning in disgust at the strange liquid; concerned for the effects if you ever ingested it.

MINERVA's LANTERN You scream.

And nothing happens. The goop that is dragging you ever deepe uncaring for you struggles except for changing colours from blue to a pulsating orange. In this dream every other time your powers and abilities came easier than in reality. But now you're stuck and are slowly enveloped.

Your heart beats faster even in this dream as you angle your head backwards, sucking in lungfuls of dream-air as you struggle fruitlessly against the muck. Your last view of the silver sky sea, you notice that there is a ebb and flow to it - as some strange force imposes a tide upon it.

You feel like a knife has sunken into your heart as fear grips you.

New Emotion: Fear gained

You sink, landing on something. Everything is black, even your usually impressive vision can't make out anything. Waving your hand in front of your face, you still can't see it.

With a sigh you hear a voice that chills you to your very core; sending your from scared to terrified. "Hello again, Demon." Mr Black says.

"Y-Y-you're dead. I use your skull as a paperweight." You stutter.

A pair of eyes stare into your own, his are empty and cruel. Yours are most likely wide and fearful. "So are you." He says, barely twelve inches away, smiling before pointing at you with magic and lightning on his finger tip.

You scream as lightning pierces your chest.

Your heart tumbles out of your sternum and you collapse into a heap, watching it beat at the speed of true fear.

Blood spurts form your back and your mouth in unison, making everything go cold. My Black approaches with a sneer, looking down his ose at your helplessness. His mouth moves to say something but no words reach you, instead your head lolls to the side where a new chorus of sounds originate.

Five wolfmen and an alpha stalk towards you in a slow and inevtiable approach, each fang and claw promising a slow and dirty death that in your current predicament you can't escape from.

You try in your fear to disassociate from the moment, focusing on as far back as you can remember; a little girl in a poofy dress running away from her duties and walking up a tree.

You try to envision the moment, to throw yourself into that much simpler time but instead, your eyes are drawn upward to a spearpoint poised to strike down to your throat like a scrpion's stinger.

[THE DRAGON OF DREAMS] Lancel Carslisle - leader of the rebllion and living legend. A warrior and wizard so powerful he could fight Remy or Lex and scrape a victory.

The spear comes down as you notice his face twisted into a savage fury as he ends your life. You scratch and scrabble at the shaft of the spear fruitlessly, nails gouging deep furrows in the immaculate white wood; suffocating even as you bleed out furthermore.

Your brain is no longer able to focus on anything beyond one simple, pure and primal concept;

You're dying.

In a moment of gritty ferocity you sit up, much to your killer's surprise. You tear your throat and neck apart in your mad gambit as you lunge right up the shaft of the spear and clamp your teeth around his throat like a mad dog with a bone.

Your teeth clench down even as your head is about to slump to the side due to insufficient support and--

You awake with a start.

The familiar roll of the wagon, the sensation of stiffness all through your neck and back. Which is a nice change rather than having it pierced, lightning-d or falling off as you suicidally try to rip a man's throat out.

A sudden dizzy spell strikes you and you think you're going to fall forward onto your own lap like some kind of drunken baby deer until a pair of hands catch you.

Looking ot the right you see familiar blue eyes looking at you with concern, but also a twinge of amusement. "Velcome back to land of ze living Purps!" Hona chirps with her trademark lilt. "Ve really need to vork on your sleep schedule!" She quips.

You can't help but smile as your songbird supports you to your feet. Betweent he flashback of the fateful day Violet fell at her father's hands and the dreamwalking you just done, you'd swear it'd been days. But here she was stalwart in her support and consideraiton for you.

"Thanks. Did you handle the troll?" You ask as she helps you make your way to the chamber pot room.

"Vas simple misunderstanding. Vas difficult convincing Orcs he "got away"" She muses, "But Vhat happened to you?"

"Well get Luc to brew some tea and we'll talk. It's a long story." You say at the threshol, turning back you see Hona's cheerful mask slip into downright worry for a brief moment. So you flash her the closest thing to a grin you can manage, "After all, I'm not quite ready for letting you peek in on me in the bathroom."

She laughs that high pitched almost shrill giggle that lifts the weight of the world off your shoulders as you close the door behind you.

It's going to be a very unusual discussion.

Once you've taken care of business and made yourself presentable once again, you settle in for a long talk, shifting Luc onto your lap while he uses the coin so that you can all sit up front. It's kinda awkward, but you manage to explain that you've been dreamwalking when you sleep.

You go so far as to talk them through the dreams you've walked in. From your own with the ancient tree, to Lex's Graveyard, to last night in The Forest of Zen. Luc gasps in wonderment and asks; "So what's your demense?"

"Demense?" You parrot as he turns his head to look up at you,

"Every dreamwalker has their own demense. A Magical plane inside their subconcious that they can retreat to and interact with. Sometimes physically as well as astrally." He recites perfectly from memory.

"I have no idea." You answer honestly.

"Vas that Vhy you passed out on the bridge?" Hona chimes in, "Vere you dreamvalking?"

"Well no." You admit squirming slightly. "I remembered some of my past and... relived it." You finish with a sigh.

"By Minerva that's great!" Hona exclaims clapping her hands.

"So what did you remember?" Luc asks, he's smiling as much as Honamurei is, but you see some wariness in his face when he looks at you.

"Well, I remembered being someone else, a woman who worked as a guard operating out of Leno." You fidget and look over at the water as you roll past rather than facing your companions, "I remembered my boss and I going to meet the Giants in their city to stop the trolls from migrating to the town/" You're sweating.

"Sounds important." Luc offers while you gather your thoughts.

"Vital." You answer, retreating into more of a onotone "We met with them but had to integrate into their society via dueling... I killed giants, not even cleanly - I relished it." You find you fist shaking and clench it in an attempt to hide it.

"So what did you learn?" Luc asks innocently, you focus in on his eyes, any where that is not Hona's face. His eyes are so impossibly bright and blue; he looks up at you so very trusting and secure in his beliefe in your goodness.

"My past self, Violet waslittle more than an animal in battle. I served under General Richter Honamurei and finally, I was known as -"

"[THE VIOLET DEMON] " You and Hona say together.

You glance at her face and see confusion, anger and a hint of fear. You don't know what to do and look down in shame as Luc's mind goes over the ramifications of this.

You turn to your friend, desperation running through your brain. "Look Hona, I swear I didn't know anything about any of this until... just now. I-"

She jumps off the wagon, causing Luc to stop feeding his magic into the coin in shock as Honamurei walks a good thirty feet from the wagon. "Fight me." She says releasing her sword with a ring that echoes across the surface of the water. Her right hand is on the butt of her auto pistol awaiting you.

"Hona why-" Luc begins.

"You vere the scary stories we were told to keep us line as kids Purps. So come, fight me. I vant to see how I measure up and it vill let me vent." She says loudly and with flair.

You're almost reminded of a theatre performer the way she paces and throws her arms out. Luc gets off your lap, but you don't move yet. "Hona... I'm not her."

"But you vere her Purps. So I vant to see if I'm stronger than Papa's pet monster." She smiles in anticipation, evidently she'd been wanting to spar for a while.

But her barbs send shivers of shame through you, worse than what you were already feeling. "Is this going to colour how you see me now Hona?" You ask balling your fists, small rivers of blood forming as claws form in symptom of the frustration boiling beneath your skin. "I remember something, something horrible and share it with you and suddenly I'm just a dragon for you to slay!" You stand up and throw you arm out to the side.

"You know what Hona, if it'll make you feel any better fine. Just remember you're fighting Purps and not Violet - no matter how much you want her." You spit, stepping down from the wagon and approaching.

"I don't think you understand just how much I've dreamed of slaying the Violet Demon as a child." Hona retorts dropping into a combat stance to which you reply by putting a hand on your buzzsaw.

"Enlighten me!" You say as you spread your feet to shoulder length apart, focusing intently on even the most minute details of your environment/ Hona's hair is swaying in the wind to your left, the bridge is wide enough for two wagons to pass with a foot between. So logically it must be at least 18ft across.

She's looking a little excited underneath her temper and bluster - but you have little idea about Honamurei's fighting style except one detail: She's fast, thankfully on this bridge she doesn't have as much room to manuever as she'd like. On the other hand you have no cover to hide form her gun or to use verticality to your advantage, so it's almost even footing.

"Vhen you're looked on as an outsider worse a troll child of an outsider? It vould take something like slaying the mystical demon who terrorised our people!" She takes her hand off the gun and points at you, "I'm going to prove to you I could be that heroine!" She vows.

"Alright then," You say as you flick your wrist and let your saw spin out all the way over the water, Hona's eyes don't follow the distraction but you hear Luc gasp, "show me what you got Songbird." You say only for Hona to disapear from sight.

You duck and recall your saw immediatly, managing to dodge the sword aimed for decapitation, as the saw comes back you flip forward over the wire forcing Honamurei to disapear form sight in another swift movement.

You land and spin the saw round you with a gesture, blocking Hona's next strike on it's seratted edge - "I'm not as strong as Violet Vi." You grunt as you chop your offhand through your own wire to change the angle and block Hona's follow up barrage. You grasp close to the wire and barge forward; making Hona grit her teeth in a test of strength as you push her back.

You predict her next move and kick her gunhand away, when she curses you let her overpower you, sidestepping her momentum and trapping her in wire; "But I'm smarter."

You recall the saw intending to invoke the deadly can opener, with less than a half second left before your saw digs into her flesh she's gone and you hear the cocking of a gun.

You feel your saw fragment and slam into your biceps and triceps, reassembling itself into a pair of brilliant silver gauntlets that feel like a second skin. Probably not good for punching things; but as you activate your magnetic ability you see their appeal - it all feels effortless if you throw in a hand gesture.

Honamurei's gunfire rings out from behind you, beside you, above you, in front of you. Abusing her speed she manages to fire from four different angles all at once, "You know I love how kind you are. How stubborn in your views and how willing you are to do what's right." You say idly as you raise your hands in a placating gesture stopping the bullets dead. She lands in front of you and you point, sending the bullets back at her faster than any gunfire. As she's put on the back foot unexpectedly and focused on her dodging and blocking you continue your monologue, "You've always been cheerful, optimistic and just brighten up everything around you."

She dashes in for a slash and it's almost a desperate push that sends her flying, her tight grip on her weaponry allowing you to bypass her strength and momentum with your powers. "You don't need to prove anything to anyone. Whatever you think you have to do here, you don't. If you wanted to fight I'd have done it happily." You shout due to distance.

You see her eye calculating as she closes the gap, trying to figure out a way inside your guard, you decide you're going to take her weapons off her and turn your hands face up before clenching and pulling back. Hona doesn't let go and flies towards you, spinning in the air.

You make a gesture to push her up out of range but she lets go, extending her foot into a corkscrew roundhouse to the jaw that sends you reeling back.

She glances up briefly at her weapons which have now begun their rapid descent from the tranquil blue sky.

That's when you strike, hands glowing white as you deliver a devestating one two combo. Since you weren't using sunshine fist when recieving that kick; you can only channel some of it's power into your retaliatory jab, but between that and the left body hook you follow up with Honamurei is forced to retreat. Her gun and sword clatter to the ground behind you as you take a few steps forward.

Hona tenses up like a snake waiting for your next strikes, but instead you just drop into your sunshine fist stance. Left hand in a fist by your side, right hand extended palm towards your opponent. Right food slid forward and left back as you half crouch for a lower centre of gravity.

She frowns, "Are we done holding back yet?"

LET THE GAMES BEGIN THEN!

"MINERVA's LANTERN!" You say, flexing your muscles and straining as your body ignites into purple fire. You move forward letting your sawcome to your hand and throwing it overarm.

Hona is still too fast, so ducks - but it digs into the bridge nice and firmly. She disapears and you know she's coming for you; so as you're passing where your foe once stood you use your offhand to manually make the wire taut. Arresting your momentum in midair, you throw yourself back in the direction you came with a yank. Surprising Hona as she spins with blade in hand.

With another tug the saw comes loose trailing behind you, your attempt to copy Honamurei's corkscrew kick is unsucessful as she ripostes and catches your shoulder. A ribbon of blood spurts forth aas you land and you close with Honamurei.

Saw in hand, you face off against her sword; unable to follow her movements you brace youself for close quarters combat as you both collide with a ear ringing crack.

You saw clashes with her sword again and again and again and again. your arms are blurred as you try to match Honamurei in vain, every impact is a drumbeat that plays at a much farther tempo than the Minervan Festival of Fire at Grinnsmon.

"So is this what you wanted Hona? Are you happy with this?" You say as you block three thrusts in under aq second and rpely with an intrciate dance of parrying and spinning slashes; that you end with a crescendo. You spin into an upward slash, slamming your left palm into the wire you send your swa spinning towards you for three quick slashes, only rewarded with one deep cut before you feel two deep slashes returned in kind from Hona.

Capitalizing on the opening just created, Hona advances with a storm of swrodplay. You can't even follow the beating you're taking as your body is cut into. Thankfully your instincts keep you from recieving a lethal or mortal wound; you tumbled backwards from the onslaught and get distance, three stab wounds in the gut and a minor slash across the cheek is not a bad tradeoff for how badly Honamurei just schooled you, although your borrowed outfit is now bloodstained and shredded.

In desperation claws form on your hands and you roll backwards to your feet. Hona has reclaimed her gun and is moving to push her advantage, form you kneeeling position you spring forward - catching her by surprise as you pounce forward like a cat.

Your claws slam into Hona's stomach and her mass stops you dead. She grunts in pain which turns to a shriek as you pull ou your claws to block her sword. She's relentless. Gunfire begins pouring at you from point blank pushing your speed to the absolute limit, before Hona tries a backhanded slash to your waist.

You bring your claw down and block; the shockwave sending stone blocks flying to your left side and reversing the tide with it's fury.

You throw your claw in a straight line to Honamurei's face while holding her blade with the right one and she leans back elegantly and alluringly - to dodge it. She spins around your locked weapons and kicks at your head, you mirror the movement stepping to your left with your back to the now destroyed barrier; avoiding her kick and disengaging.

You strike with everything you have, slashing both your claws towards her chest from both sides. Hona keeps her blade even to the ground and blocks both, the force of your blow cracking the cobbles below you.

You stare into her eye and see the respect and excitement there. You feel a small flutter in your chest as you slyly smile, to which Honaurei replies in kind. You both begin growling at once, pushing against each other like goats.

You flashback to the brainwashed Honamurei meeting your headbutt with her own in Rono Pass, the surroundings now are a lot finer and more picturesque.

The breeze, the water, your friend giving you her best shot as both of your arms shake from the exertion, you switch out to your whip and send it towards her legs to which you flips backwards and somersaults away for sepration.

She levels her gun at you with a smile, opening up on full automatic knowing you can't block them in this form.

She thinks she has you.

You exhale.

Drop the whip, open both palms, relax your muscles, place your arms level to chest,

Exhale.

Hona will not be satisfied unless you give it your all, you feel the breeze on your wounds, lick your lips as the gun sings out in sequence.

Inhale.

You hear the crying of gulls, your purple fire dies down and blazes upwards like a brillaint spear into the day sky, now taking on a white gold appearance.

Exhale.

Your hair has grown down your back, you feel power, power unlike anything you have wileded dancing along your skin, the fire seems to burn hotter than anything you could ever dream of and what's more - this power is divine. You can feel Minerva's arms around you as you ascend, but there is no joy, there is no wallowing in this newfound power, instead you simply let it be.

Inhale.

[/b]"Divine Zen Form."[/b] You intone as yellow clouds begin to swirl in a vortex in the sky above your battle, the bullets are flying towards you.

Exhale.

You catch them all in a blistering display of speed, awareness and control, no muscle movement is wasted and no single second ticks by between your transformation and the removal of the threat. Your eyes are closed, for now.

You move, Honamurei undergoing some strange process that makes her bulkier as she roars at you in her mother tongue. It is only through this new form she takes your first blow on her arm. With the sound of a curmbling building; the wagon is overturned at the stalemate.

Inhale.

Your left hand finds purchase in her gut, carrying her a foot off the ground from the force, a whirpool begins to formulate from your power. The waters under the bridge being sucked towards you as your strike reverberates into the depths like a drum in the deep.

Exhale.

You follow Hona into the air and deliver a beatdown, each strike creating that same distinct shockwave of absolute devestation as you pummle her. An elbow to the face, a hook to the jaw, two straights in sequence, a flurry of bowdy blows. All before you reach your apex.

Inhale.

You grab her by the waist and spin, throwing her down before the upturned wagon and cracking the cobbles even more.

You cry out in exultation, letting your power radiate into the sky and prepare one more strike to end things.

Only for a great shadow to rise behind you blotting out Honamurei, the wagon, the bridge and the surrounding area in it's ancient, proud and powerful magesty.

You turn in the air and pull together a makeshift defence hardly believeing what you're seeing

At the sight of the dragon you inhale.

And are smacked down beside your friend when a scaled tail with the power of armies strikes true.

You cough as you land and whether it's Minerva or your own instincts - you realize that the shocwaves of Honamurei's battle drew this living legend to your position.

You inhale and find that the momentary laspe in concentration forced you to drop down to Base Zen.

You groan in the crater and Hona sits up first, you notice she is confused both by the shadow cast over you and the fact you're in the crater with her. "Hey Hona, you mentioned monster slaying. So how's about a truce?" You manage as you sit up with her. You notice she's in her bulky state still, you kind of prefer her natural look but ther'es probably a reason.

"I got my fill of you. But let's kill a dragon!" She chirps. "Ve have a plan?"

"Well except trying to ride it, No." You're running out of time as it shakes like a dog, it's scales sending small rainbows from itself to anyone for miles around. "Hit it very hard together! Avoid the mouth!"

"On it!" She cries as you both seperate and move at the dragon as fast as you can. Honamurei is a head of you, The [Nimble Songbird] a blurring mass of silver and gold as she runs with sword swinging indiscriminately as she darts around and up the creatures chest towards it's head.

Honamurei kicks off of a protruding spike and into the air, pulling back her blade to thrust it into his eye, you look on in awe and prepare to power up to the divine zen form you recently achieved until you notice the dragons' head whip round.

It's chest swells and it pulls it's hulking forelegs onto the bridge's barrier wall; the stones torn free or crushed beneath it's strength - pulsing sapphire fire pours form it's gullet and you cry out a warning to Honamurei as she is enveloped.

Sympathy Pains Activated

Worry overtakes your mind completely as you remember the last time Hona rushed in overconfident, the horror as the explosion claimed her eye and most of her face. You suddenly burst into flame, engulfed in blue rather than purple.

No Sell Activated

But you stay calm and no sell the dragonfire. Managing to regain focus as the Dragon yowls in agony as Hona's sword embeds itself in the creature's nostril. Sizzling bright yellow blood flows freely, sending up small pillars of steam as it collides with the rapidly rising tide. It almost looks like a monsoon out.

You're beginning to comprehend the real reason for the unseasonal storm and bridge closure of Rono Pass. With that thought you realize you're only minutes from the end of this bridge, should you get the wagon up and running and give Luc the coin you could begin a fighting retreat from this whole situation. But somoene would have to flip the wagon and you're not sure how long you or Hona could hold out together nevermind alone.

General Strategy Vote

> Send Hona to help Luc flip wagon

"Hona! Wagon!" You scream at her, you see her make a thumbs up before the dragon shakes it's head and sends her flying, you don't have time to track her arc through the air but you hear a thud of flesh on stone somewhere to your side. "Luc! Big Boy Rifle!" You command.

"It's in the wagon!" He cries

"GET IT" Your cry in exasperation.

The dragon is distracted for just a moment, Hona has distance to cover to return to where she can flip the wagon and Luc is in the overturned wagon arming himself. It's just you and the dragon.

"MINERVA'S LANTERN!" You cry. Feeling your body burst into Purple flame. The dragon's attention turns to you and it raises it's foreleg to smash you and the bridge into oblivion.

But it pauses as you slowly exhale a shaky breath.

The area at your feet is engulfed in golden light as you release yourself. Relaxing everything and letting yourself grow numb. You forget the situation as you focus on the breathing, your rapidly growing strength and speed are nothing.

You are nothing.

A paw slams down but is repulsed as a beacon of gold shoots up into the air; the dragon is off balance and studies you intently. Something within it realizes this is what awoke it, astral wings form on your back and your hair tumbled between your shoulder blades. There is no irritation at this fact right now, there is only the locking of gazes between two ancient beings.

Neither shows emotion.

You inhale.

You see a paw come to you with swiftness you didn't expect, as your aura flares you slam a palm to meet it and the two of you meet a stalemate. You hold it, buying time is your objective here not a victory.

It pulls back and goes for a backswipe with the same claw; with your right hand you channel all the energy you just absorbed and deliver a punch to counteract it. The dragon is actually taken aback as you direct it's own force back at it with interest and you take off immediately.

Hopping onto the crushed barrier wall, you leap off the bridge at the dragon's chest a huge wall of scale, muscle and natural magic that you aim to crack and dismantle with nothing but your barehands.

You exhale.

Time slows as your astral wings flap, giving you the perfect angle, approach and opportunity. You're aware for a moment how surreal this is - using divine martial arts to unch a dragon in the chest in order to buy time for your friends' to get your personal plane disguised as a wagon in working order in order to escape. Your heartbeat pounding in your ears, brings your focus back into the moment and time seems to resume as your power radiates from your lungs and heart out to your arms and fists.

MURAMURAMURAMURAMURAMURAMURAMURAMURA [/B]

You scream in divine fevrour as Minerva's energy fills you. The Dragon roars as you begin your flurry, the unches actually striking with enough force to hurt him. Indentation appear on the scales from your repeated rampant rush as you push him back. But as the energy you absorbed begins to tap out you see the dragon's head rear back.

You have little time to react as you pull your arms back from the smattering of cracked scales that are scattered shielded amongst a sucession of similar spotless scales across the broad chest of the dragon.

The Mythical creature's chest swells up towards you and you realize you're in trouble. You flap you wings so you don't fall into the monsoon stricken water.

You inhale.

You put your feet on the dragon and it's head tracks you unerringly, aiming to confuse it you run to the side of it's neck jumping into the air and flapping your astral wings three times to float behind the dragon and avoid the fiery death aimed at you.

But the legendary beast is swift, snaking it's head around and pushing itself free of the bridge's edge. It swims through the water more elegantly or swiftly than you'd expect - where wings would normally be instead two wavey antenna like protrusions allowing for minute and instantaneous adjustments in orientation. The snake like dragon leaps as it turns, emerging from the water and breathing an inferno as it comes.

You stare into the blue flames and brace yourself as best you can as your every nerve screams in agony, engulfed in flames and burning all over. The ensuing seocnds last both an age and a heartbeat, you taste blood in your mouth which you manage to keep firmly closed else you boil alive inside out.

The flames pass, only for an ancient immovable and hardy skull to slam into you. The aerial collision sends you arcing through the air and away from the safety of the bridge.

You scream shrilly as you fly, the sheer pain in your body released in sound as a loud gunshot rings out from the bridge to be echoed with an ineffective ping.

You inhale.

Begin going with your momentum to get your feet pointing waterward and your head facing skyward. You flap your wings three times to slow your descent and eventually even out.

You don't feel so good, you arms are in working order, but your Hona wounds have re-opened and every breath is a stab of pain.

You exhale.

You rise towards the dragon who is looking at you intently. You get the feeling that surviving that has made him reasess you.

You inhale.

Appreciating the view for a moment, the slightly stormy sky, streaks of yellow clouds from your own power and the black stormclouds of the dragon's, all framing a backdorp of cerulean beauty. The ancient beast flying before you is a magnificent marvel of nature that has rightly found it's way to many a bard's song and theatre's plays. Zen has truly led you to a wondorous world.

You exhale.

And take off at maximum speed, letting your two saws form and trail behind you as you try to reach you maximum speed. You accelerate until you are a white gold blur with two silver streaming trails behind you, the Dragon having anticipated you to go high for it's skull is, flinches in surprise as you soar towards it's chest.

It gives a flap of it's antenae wings and that is all that saves it, your saws snag on the joints connecting the legs to the chest instead of tearing through the already weakened sternum. But the result is two paralell fountains of yellow blood spraying down onto the bridge and water below. Steam guysers following seconds later like carrion to a slaughter; you continue racing forward and downward aiming to reuinite with your friends who have the wagon ready to go.

You never knew that a dragon could scream, but the screeching roar is at such a pitch and volume that you can't help but feel guilt at the wounding you have inflicted. Looking over your shoulder you see the dragon lose it's balance and fall forward, eventually landing backfirst into the water with a splash that would eclipse the belltower of Grinnsmon for height and width.

You inhale.

Right as you land on the stones of the bridge you send cracks flying into the already weakened bridge, your momentum actually causing a support to buckl;e beneath the immaculately engineered bridge. Honamurei runs to you.

You exhale.

Divine Zen, Lantern, Base Zen. You lose it all as your body simpoly cannot maintain the energy output. Your vision begins to blur and darken as your hair returns to it's short length. Before your friend reaches you, you hunch over, hands onto your knees and vomit profusely. Painting the bridge a tapestry of bile and blood as the G forces of flying as well as your wounds take their toll out of your insides.

That is where we will end tonight, resume at some point. Congrats you guys, you have a blood feud with an ancient one.

Questions for me, feedback, discussion, candid chat, death threats and ERP anywhere. Whether it's twatter, discord or in thread. But any non canon questioning of the characters, well that's gotta be in thread.

So purps how does Divine Zen feel?
How does it feel to beat down a dragon?

Luc how cool was that fight?

Hona do you still want to fight purps?

Purps: I don't feel much emotionally. But phsycially, it feels like adrenaline mixed with a warm blanket.

At the time it was absolutely amazing, even in Zen I felt the tug of battle thrill. But now, I just feel a bit guilty. Like I committed a crime or something.

Luc: I wish my enigma were time loop so I could see that again and again and again!

Hona: (grinning good naturedly) Yes. I'll beat her, especially now I've actually seen her fight.

I got alot coming in January, so I'm trying to do what I can. Thank you all for playing along, tell your friends. We gonna make Munisian Republic Great Again.

Next thread predictions?

Thoughts on the actual writing itself this thread?
>>
>>985085
I predict we'll spend some time doing R&R because we tore up our body being a badass.
There may be the odd battle but it'll be manageable.

The writing seems good.
I can imagine purps beating the shit out of a dragon.
