Field Team, good news! The hospital bills for operation Victoria Wasps was much lower than anticipated! And with the destruction of a sub-swarm Queen the GMW-2 are in full retreat across most of the Great Victoria Desert. Crackin' good work.

Speaking of deserts, we might have a small, tiny problem. SysWatch and the trogs down in Stats have been getting some erroneous pings from their autonomous systems. After you went and took out 17% of the Moon, and caused the collapse of WerWolf77 most of their tech and mercenaries flooded into the black market. We're in control of most of it (save for that Walker of the Ashen Waste still loose in Munich), but someone other than us have been scooping up ex Werwolf personnel. That's never a good sign, especally because they don't turn up again, they go missing.

This is where the errenous messages come in. SysWatch says someone or something has been altering their system parameters, interdicting their data as it were. Filtering for it, we've gotten an odd satelitte trace to an old abandoned mining town in the middle of nowhere in particular. Satelitte imagery swears its clean, quiet and cozy. ThaumDep and Prognisticon are both telling us that absolutely nothing is worth investigating there. Hell, Thaum Evens tried to Scry the place and proceeded to tell us all she found Peaceful Enlightment, then baked the department a cake. Still hasn't come off her Zen high.

In other words, we're going to go in with the heaviest gear we can muster and as many boots as we can bring to bear because Clean, Quiet & Cozy doesn't happen in this job and someone has *got* to be fucking with our equipment.

Based on feedback from your last mission, the combat logs and some prodigious engineering talent, we've managed to redesig the FOG suit to be slightly more capable.

>Cleave hits all targets in front arc
>Juggernaut pushes targets aside if same size - walk through occupied hexes
>Dash moves you at 1.5 hex per AP in a straight line. So for 4 AP you'd move 6 hexes. The jump booster is a little fidgetty, so try not to crash helmet first into a wall. It doesn't come with breaks.

And between you and me field team. . . Maybe we didn't quite destroy all those shards you pulled out with you. Maybe.

(NorAdre gives you 2AP on the spot (enough to cover the cost of using it basically), eliminates negative effects if you have any and doubles AP recovery FOR THE TURN IT WAS USED ON ONLY. ReaverStim recovers your AP at the end of every phase and lets you post a second set of actions for the enemy phase as well, and lasts five phases (& costs 5 Vit over them & doubles damage received). In short, yes, you will technically recover double AP every phase (twice a turn)...for all of one turn. So yes, I think you can technically do that, but given that the NorAdre lasts a fraction of the time and you can only carry so many drugs it's reeeeally extravagant, especially if you're not actually doing anything with that AP, which leads me to conclude that you're just shooting up because you have a fatal addiction.

well, here's my explanation. Of all the missions I've been on to, what I needed was burst of APs in a desperate situation, not consistent supply of extra AP(sprinter will give me efficient form of mobility when I need it). I found myself in a situation that I need a lot of AP right now rather than later, like for the moonwolf and hemophage cave mission. If I had that doubled AP recovery at that time maybe I could have done more.

And since I've cross trained to combat alchemineer, along with the addition of [Panacea Powders](which was [First Aid] in the past and was double the AP cost), I am incredibly strained in terms of AP to make use of all of these things effectively. I need ANY AP boosting effect I can use, and even if I die by getting my heart blown up I can get revived by burning 1~3CS anyway.


It may look weird that I am channeling the sheer rage of Reaverstims to aid my skills, but if I don't use the skills as much as possible, then what use am I other than a moderately trained operative?
