In this game, you take control of a single character in a battle against corruption. Generally, the further down this list you go, the more familiar you should make yourself with the rules. Don't be afraid to learn on the fly, just expect surprises.

Ask questions!

>Dying rules should be a bit clearer. Overbear has been changed. Urgency is now labelled as Swift as it was always meant to be.

Cane provides half cover to the martyr. Over 1 hits.

Also note that Pump-A-Rump's targeted square is actually the one Cane's standing in, and Scaramogge's original destination would have been right up against the wall under the walkway. For now I see your intent, but I'll assume you're planning something in the future and take you literally.

That said, I'm still figuring out the level of specificity I want to expect from players. "Attack martyr" and "Move right outside the window" may have been enough in these cases.

Thanks, Londry.

It was actually quite hard to figure out, because I was referring back to the pencil-drawn pictures (which are kinda cute - I like the pencil-drawn skirmish style.)

Would you consider using a level of transparency over parts of the fog of war where we have previously explored?

I don't know if anyone else has had the same issue with the FoW... but that would be a great deal of help to the poor Scaramogge! Felines are great explorers of their surrounding spaces, but have a bit of trouble understanding how separate spaces are connected together sometimes, you understand...

I think the way it works is like a sort of charge into battle - you get a free attack after any move toward an enemy.

The thing about = or ^ essentially means that the move and the attack have to be the same type of action. So, if you have a swift weapon, you can make a free swift attack after any half-move.

If you want to use Toe-to-Toe and Guard in the same turn, it might be feasible to go N, W, then S, and clamber over the cannon! Then you get your free Toe-to-Toe attack as well as a chance to Guard.

Can cannons be clambered over, Londry - what do you say?

Or... How about if we try and /push/ the cannon on its wheels, back into its unsuspecting operator? I might try that with my remaining action if able.
