Hey guys let me know when you are here.
>>
>>892550
Miellewds-guy here. Sorry for being late.
Are you going to go through the list of tasks from the end of the last thread?
>>
>>892606
I wanted to, but I guess no thread today since noone's here? might as well, im still tired and worn out from so many tests. Why the fuck did they had me go three times in the same day? It really really couldnt be over the YEAR they had to ask me to go there? it had to be on the last day?
>>
>>892617
People may not be here because you didn't update the last thread with a link to this one.
I did it, so people who had the last page open waiting for an update should see it and come here.
>>
>>892617
Also get that Silverspire Forest infodump out of the way. That one doesn't require input from the players.
>>
>>892623
Im honestly really really exhausted. I dont think the doctors know that there are OTHER doctors that ALSO ran tests on me yesterday.

Anyway, what would you like to see with Miel? cutesy or lewd naughty? I guess everyone will fall somewhere between Mako or Lyann in that sense? though Im not sure if I should go slightly lewder with Lyann to serve as better example
>>
>>892550
Here, Sorry i was out getting lunch.
>>
>>892664
Lewd and naughty, like Rance-levels, and then cutesy snuggling afterwards. And cutesy wedding dress fitting, and planning the wedding and setting up land deals on all the continents so that all Hives have land and become Civilized Race.
>>
>>892677
Eh, I dont really approve much of Rance. Rape is like killing a girl, you know?

I did chuckle with Isoroka, though.

The small automaton moved quite naturally, to the point where it really felt like living being. Then all of a sudden it fell to the floor like a toy who had ran out of batteries.

"What do you think?" -says Aldo as he hands you a circlet
"Uhmm"

Looking at it through our Ring of Knowledge, it seems to be a tool created for training. It comes in sets of a circlet and a ring. The circlet user controls and experiences the world through the ring user.

It was meant to help students develop muscle memory through repetition, by having their masters' consciousness run their bodies, but it quickly turned out to be impractical because a teacher usually has better things to do than to swing a sword 300 times, or do push ups or whatever.

In the end, it was considered a failed product, but Aldo thought of it as a way to allow someone to "see and experience" the world through the probe's sensors.

>Let's never let Dawn get her hands on this. The pranking potential is unlimited

Good, see if the probe's shape affects our ability to control it. Also we should include a recording ability. Get a camera on there, and see if that Goliath who made the camera has developed magic video yet.

"Yes, that's why I was using a puppet for the show and tell. If it differs too much from your own shape, it will make you feel sick quite quickly."
"So that's why you changed to a humanoid shape probe rather than the original sphere."
"Indeed. I was hoping princess Kya would 'man' the probe, so to speak."
"Eh? Why her?"
"Well, the harpies are nice, but I want hard data... and I don't really trust our succubus friends with the task either, for pretty much the same reasons."
"I see."

Well, the harpies have grown a lot, but they're still basically adorable (if smart) children.

I dont think Dawn would be a bad choice. Shes a prankster but she's not dumb. She understands the seriousness of this mission.

And a recording device... well, I never thought the probe would be coming back so this is better I guess. We can get instant feedback.

>Alright, let's go with Kya

>>Alright, let's go with Kya

"Alright, I will ask the princess to help with it."
"Then I will build the probe in her likeness, to ease control."

Well, we do take a look at Aldo's designs, of course. It feels quite comfortable to be doing engineering work, even if it isnt in our specialty field.

Anyway, this way the probe will be much simpler, and can focus on maneuverability and sensors.
Making a body that will be puppeteered by Kya means we don't need to include self guidance systems and/or ariticial intelligence on it.

Next would be... ah, Okaba sent a new shipment of Linked Journals, so we can spread them to the research centers in Mantequira, Eopolis and here in Albion. Of course there's already a copy in Heven.

Well, we should deliver these ourselves. It should be a routine task while we are vising each spot.

For now, let's teach our team here how to use it...

"Please don't just draw on it or something. The pages are limited and anything you write down on it will appear on each copy so it will actually use 4 pages, understood?"

Our team heads nod, and receive the books with serious expressions.

Well, its just for low and medium priority research. Weapons and shields, of course, should not have their data so openly shared, just in case.

"Brother Eldric" -Portia approaches us while looking a bit anxious- "Can I shift to the probe team from the shield team? I want to hurry up and hear about mom..."

>If the probe doesnt survive, we won't get any data. The shields are just as important, or even more so
>Alright, but you'll need to convince Zoe to switch with you

Changing to Dawn because she and Auta did calculate the invasion schedule and the fact that the moon is actually a dimensional portal.
She might be able to pick up things tht Kya would miss.

>Alright. Maybe we can get Dawn to work on shields.

They will be boob-shaped

"What? They're done-shaped, noone else thought it was obvious?"

I can already see it coming

Anyway if we are changing Dawn to shields, obviously she cant be working on the drone. Im just saying because if she was gonna pilot it, it would be better if she was involved on its building and designs.

"Why are its boobs so big?"
"Mana storage"
"It isnt because you're flat?"
"Im only flat when im low on mana!"
"Ah, so, mana storage"

Anyway, so we're moving the biology specialist from biology to shields, right?

No backsies!

***

We talk with Dawn, and ask her to replace Portia in the shields team, while Zoe moves from probe to [ERROR] biology research, which is what Dawn was doing before.

"Uhmmmmright." -she agrees without argument after thinking about it for just a little bit

We got a bad feeling about that, but... well, it's done.

Now let's see... well, research took most of our evening, so we only have a few hours left... I guess we should go level in the foodgeons.

>Take Lyann, Aritsu, Mako, Ami and Mai

Ah, dammit, I forgot that Dawn is specialized in biology.
But she did do the calculations on shield strength and rates of failure, didn't she?
So it should be fine until Kiana and Aurora are ready to start working in the labs, right?
>>
>>892973
>>Take our pets
>>
>>892998
>But she did do the calculations on shield strength and rates of failure, didn't she?
Yes, pretty quickly too. She's really really good at math, she just doesnt really pays it much mind, precisely because its not very challenging.

She helped her brother (and technically helped her dad) with biology research so she has a lot of experience on that.

So, which pets do you wanna take? or just 2 parties again so everyone gets exp?

3 parties for all Pets, I think.

The following morning during breakfast, Lyann notices how sleepy the harpies look...

"I think its good that you are worried about leveling up, but don't overdo it..."
"It's not hat bad..."
"Really?"

She looks towards Adrianna, that is sleeping with her face in her breakfast bowl.

Alright it may have been a bit much for the younger pets, but its not really a problem.

"Ah... thank you." -smiles the harpy as we clean her face with a soft cloth

"Should we get a bigger cabin?" -asks Lyann, since the cabin is quite crowded with (most of) our pets on it having breakfast.
"Its like this just for a bit in the morning. It will be fine afterwards. I guess we'll give them breakfast in shifts instead."

Lyann nods, and seems convinced.

Well...

I guess we can do it flashback style?

***

The general is standing close by the side of the peach tree while Mako and Ren play together.

It is somewhat refreshing to see two beautiful girls playing together so innocently. Right now, they are trying to play a local version of soccer that has you play in full court regalia and gita while trying to kick around a delicate paprt ball.

By the way, the one that punctures the ball, loses right away, so they can just gently push it forth while trying to get each other off balance.

They're having a lot of fun.

"So, their army is actually stronger than we thought?" -we ask after the old lionkin finishes telling us about the alquian army
"It is vast, but most of its officers do not have war experience. The gryphons war veterans have all cycled out into retirement. They do have plenty of experience fighting raisers and pirates, however."
"Uhm... just how many troops do they have?"
"I would say, they match the empire, at least."
"And our own officers do not have any war experience either."
"We, too, have mostly dealt with pirates, albeit we do have more senior staff. Most of their officers are quite young."

I wonder if that's something we can explout somehow?

Meanwhile, Ren is hugging Mako from behind and kissing her cheek while trying to 'shoo away' the paper ball with her feet, sort of fanning it towards Mako's goal.

Well, its not really moving, more of "wavering" in that direction.

Anyway, raiders and pirates, right? I wonder if thats a serious problem over there?

We're not army men, it's kind of nebulous, how to exploit it.

Uhmm lets see...

***

"Well, their troops have a lot of experience, even if their officers do not. I assume it would be fine if you could distance them from each other somehow?"
"How to, though?"
"I'd guess, you could try and make the officers look bad, or maybe bribe them?"
"I wonder..."

In the end, the gods favored Mako, since the wind started blowing and pushing the ball towards Ren's scoring area.

The beautiful empress appealed of course, and Mako gave in, in exchange for later bed time priviledges.

Why is Ren the one that decides Mako's bed time...?

...anyway, I guess i'm glad they solved it.

Well, let's see if dad has any info he could give us? He did fight them in their hometurf.

And that is how we ended asking dad about his war experiences.

Well, from what he can tell, the supply convoys were quite poorly guarded, and took the straight route towards the frontlines even when it would have been better otherwise.

The guards they did have were quite ill equipped. as well, bu they were quite ferocious.

So, I guess the quality of their troops is much better than their equipment.

Masses of ill equipped troops, then?
Quite skillful, though.

Honestly, I think I'd rather fight a well equipped rookie than an ill-equipped veteran, though.

As for the trader side of things...

The traders seem quite surprised by our questions. It seems they often buy army surplus from Alquia, and they're quite high quality goods, you know?

But why would Alquia equip its troops with low class goods if they had a surplus of high quality ones? Was there someone stealing from their warehouses during war time?

Anyway, what should we do with this picture?

>Other (really, I've no idea how it helps)
>>
>>893379
>Other: ask for more spies to be sent directly into Alquia to find hidden Alquian rock-it ships
The information implies that someone was rerouting weapons shipments for profit; this happened to the Chinese Navy during the Sino-Japanese War.
I'm going to assume that the traders would have mentioned the expanded harbors and merchant fleet since I also asked about the economy.
We would be perplexed why trade seems to be doing so badly when it appears that a lot of effort had gone into making it a priority.

Right now Eldric would be planning for a comprehensive audit and evaluation of government and military officials once Mako takes control.
There's no indication of advanced weapons or of rock-it from the Intel reports of the military.
Eldric saw the reverse-engineered rock-it ship in the Alquian research lab he attacked; he should be asking why te military doesn't have any rock-it ships and be wary.
So right now, Eldric will be expecting a water-bound navy with a few light rock-it ships; nothing the Heavenly Navy can't handle as long as they fly high, and can get away from once they start going over land. But the lack of visible rock-it ships when he knows that the Alquian military has the technology will be concerning.

Seems fine. Lets end here for now, guys, Im still really worn out. I will try and post before thursday, but nothing too important, maybe just a naughty scene.

Also, it was the vizir, he was sending the low quality gear and supplies through purposefully obvious and ill defended routes to get rid of the hawk faction, remember?
>>
>>893544
Yes, we the players know that the Vizier was doing it for the good of the nation, but Eldric doesn't know that.
I explained how things look to Eldric using what he knows only, and not using out of character knowledge.

When you prepare the infodump on the Silverspire Forest, I suggest you also write a little bit about Bastion and the relationship of the Northern Coalition members to each other, and to the smaller kingdoms and city-states on the continent.
>>
>>893568
Seems fine, though I think youll be dissapointed by the yellowleaves bit. There's not that much to tell unless you want me to go book of elves on you.
>>
>>893803
I thought laying out Eldric's thought process would help you write so that his decisions and thoughts are internally consistent and you don't accidentally throw in information you shouldn't.

If you don't think that's necessary then I won't bother in the future.

As for Silverspire, we don't know anything about them aside from them being another elven nation.
Are they as conservative and xenophobic as Yellowleaves? How are they viewed by their neighbors, and vice versa? What are relations between Solverspire and Yellowleaves like? What's their major export and import?
>>
Here's our list of tasks:
1. Hybrid breeding program to cross Miel's bloodline with that of a Heven Jungle Honey Fairy hive, to produce stronger, more robust honey fairies that are also loyal and industrious.

2. Getting the succubus tribe that Kiana and Aurora were a part of to settle in New Hope, Eldric's hometown, and to begin producing high-quality glass test tubes, flasks, and beakers so that he can put his chemical engineering knowledge to use.

>3. Get a progress report on the Inter-Dimensional Probe ship that is the current focus of our Albion research team.
Completed for now. Will need to do this again in a few weeks.

4. Progress report on Eldric's level, and if it's close to Lyann, Zoe, Stella, or Baldric's level.

5. Progress on creating the linked journals between the Northern Coalition's centers of learning and the Heavenly Empire's think tank, to speed up research.

6. Linda's progress in creating XCOM's research and development division.

7. Meeting with Brass and Python, as well as Miiyau, and setting up requests at Adventurer Guilds, to track down the origin of the misinformation campaign against Plant Monsters. Also ask Tapac and Euphrosyne if they know anything about the misinformation.

8. The infodump on the Silverspire Forest.

9. See if the purchase of land next to Yellowleaves for Miel has been finished, and if we can give it to her now. Discuss with Miel if she wants a small ceremony; this is an important land deal between Eopolis and the Miel Hegemony, and it should be treated with gravitas and respect.

>10. Meet with General Li about gathering intelligence about Alquia before our diplomatic fleet arrives.
Completed

11. Speak with Honoria about getting bricks that can be used in glass-making furnaces.

12. Check in with the hive that's growing in New Hope, and see their progress and if they need anything.

13. Ask Tanis about the unique spelltricks she knows, and learn them from her. Reward her with lots of love.

14. Give a house in New Hope to Nina so that she and her sisters are no longer Monsters but a Civilized Race, and help out the Harpies who are still in the wild.

15. Check in with Dusk and see how the maid training of Aurora and Kiyana is going.

Other things that aren't as important or need more time for setup:
A. Set up the live-fire combat tests in the Jade Islands for the [ERROR] invasion, preparing the needed equipment and troops.
B. Begin transferring troops from the member nations of the UN to Peacekeeper Command, and the higher-level and more loyal troops to the XCOM Project.
C. Get teams of accountants ready to properly audit the resources and incomes of the nations in order to prepare budgets for Peacekeeper Command and XCOM.

Yes, they would.
But a Kya-sized one can fit in enchantments easier since there's more surface area to write the magical circuits.
>>

couldn't we just get the faery's to write them? hell we should get them to enchant everything they could pack more on the us sized equipment. some dwarf made faery enchanted items would probable pretty boss
