The Gnomes are a proud people, inventing many of the technologies used by the empires of today. The Tinker's guild of the dwarven mountains wanted to get rid of some misfits in their ranks and sent them to start a branch in Roggar. Due to the tendency of Roggar to explode into civil war, they are considered expendable by the guild and are not expected to return.

Story Summary:
In ages past men lived simpler lives - they would hunt, farm, fight and always respect the might of the Old Gods. Shamans led the clans with their elemental magic - so it was for many generations, before history was ever written down. The great hero Rog united a dozen human clans into a tribe that would form the foundation of our future Kingdom. One day Rog mysteriously vanished - then came the Great Storm - when it passed, the shamans could no longer feel the presence of the Gods and had lost the source of their magic.
The 1st Century After the Storm saw us becoming a proper civilization, beginning to accept the New Gods of the Pantheon and adopting technologies and customs from the east.
By the end of the 2nd century we were beginning to catch up to Paitras as larger wars were being fought.
The 3rd century saw the fall of Paitras and the rise of the Norse, with Roggar filling in much of the void left. By the end of the century most of Paitras had been reunited.
The 4th century saw the Pantheonic faith strengthen, defeating barbarians in both the north and south.
In the beginning of the current century, a devastating plague ravaged our lands, killing a quarter of the population - soon afterwards, racial tensions led to a civil war in Roggar, which was followed by invasions from Paitras and Zhongian. After much bloody fighting, peace was agreed on, with Roggar becoming part of the new Holy Pantheonic Empire. After the first Emperor, Verigal IV of Paitras, passed away, our King, Senan Armstrong, was chosen as Emperor over Roggar, Paitras, the Halflings, Kragnaal and Ellstelg.

We unsuccessfuly invaded the North, but successfuly took over the New Ogre Haven, relocating the ogres to the Great Old Swamp. The old ogre holdings are now the ground on which a new Imperial Capital Region is being built.

Our invasion of the North ultimately failed after a number of sieges and battles as the enemy withered us down, divided us and managed to capture the Emperor and his commanders, forcing us to sign a peace treaty that included the surrender of our weapons, reparations that have by now been almost entirely paid off and the ceding of part of the territories of the Lord of Landbreig - the town, with its strategic location, still belongs to Roggar.
Anglanorse is gradually becoming more Pantheonic and prosperous on its own as King Nigmar I Ragnasetson is hailed as the greatest monarch the North has had.

The Plague and the subsequent Zhongian-Paitran war for Roggar affected the lives of many, among whom were the Lectre family. A set of nobles from Dragonstomb with a slightly sketchy background and somewhat... peculiar tastes, their businesses fell apart piece by piece as the Zhongian army occupied the city. Eventually, they paid to be smuggled from the city and fled, walking for miles before stumbling on the charred ruins of Riverhugger. Settling down for the night, they realised this was to be their new home. Not knowing the old name of the village, they gave it their own: Starling.

Having built up their new home successfully (as well as surviving an ecounter with a being of the Vast), William Lectre passed away peacefully at home, secure in the knowledge that the future was bright.

One of his sons, Chilton, now rules the town and has been making efforts to connect with the elite of Roggar.

We are the leading golemancers in the known world and will continue to advance along that path.
What IS a golem though?
A golem is a product of advanced material magic and engineering. A core(object bearing enchantments) inside the golem acts as its heart, supplying the artificial body(that can be made from a variety of materials - clay, stone, mundane and magic metals) with mana that powers it and gives it "life"". The most advanced golems may be given some basic behavioral abilities, but they lack sentience and usually require a golemancer nearby to properly operate. They must be consistently supplied with mana.
The construction of a golem comes in three parts - material magic, mana management and engineering. Material magic deals with the core's construction and the materials used in creating the golem and the way it all sticks together. Controlling the golem and supplying it with mana is the second part, while the third deals with actual physical operation and equipment - the body and what it does.
Currently golems in Roggar are used for labour and war, primarily.
What should we focus on?
A.Material magic - with the help of Kovag seek to improve our mastery over metals and their magical application
B.Mana management - with the help of Abagar, seek to make our golems more mana-efficient
C.Mining golems - use engineering to advance upon previous models of mining golems
D.Labour golems - a jack-of-all trades engineering form that can be used to carry cargo, but also fight or assisst with logistics
E.War golems - engineering form that specializes in combat operations

While our Empire stands peaceful, in distant lands the drums of war beat.
The Mighty has launched an invasion into the south, taking some of the lands our recent expedition passed through. Word is that the Drezvak King is expanding his holdings over the lizardmen, Anglanorse is colonising further lands to the north and establishing relations with the Frost Giants. Most disconcerning is perhaps the fact that the long rivarlry between the Sea Elf Kingdoms of Yuleyas and Selaven has at last escalated into a full-blown war.
Yuleyas' embassy in Dragonstomb is offering to pay for any mercenaries that Roggar provides.
Selaven is a Pantheonic Kingdom, while Yuleyas worships the Old Gods.

The Vasentii are descended from the Paitrans who originally occupied the lands before the Horde Wars and the Norse occupation of the lands. They swore loyalty to the Roggarian crown once the Norse warlord of Vaesdeman was deposed.
Years ago, some lowborn Vaesgyolan priests created a series of reforms in the Pantheonic church, wich went on largely ignored by everyone else.

Construct a grand center of learning in Foothold where those who desire can come to study the scriptures, philosophy and teachings of the ancient sages. All applicants will be allowed to study, those few who excel will be offered to enter the rigorous education of the Councilors.
This teaching shall be free (a symbolic fee at most) and the funding will be provided by “mandatory charity” from the people within my domain.
(The size will be what Bulgar deems appropriate for my resources. I’m fine with anything from a windy barn converted into an “Academy” to a large, fancy complex with libraries and dormitories. The important part is the teachings taught, not the flashiness of the building.)

For my personal efforts, the leader of the Red Stallion centaurs has gracefully agreed to a new business proposal I have in mind. We often see caravans, carts and the like around, but nothing for the COMMON man. This is particularly important at this time, as we are so close to finishing the imperial city. As such, I shall be constructing and organising Centaur drawn "carriages" to allow the average person to travel quickly and safely. The centaurs will be armed, reducing the need for extra guards, and will be paid handsomely for their contribution.

In terms of my role on the council, I will be renovating the area that has grown outside of Starling for the former homeless of the lands. For this, I have contracted some gnome workers to make a 'tinker town' of sorts; proper accommodation and crafting facilities, of course. I hope they live up to their reputation.

For my faction project, it is my intention to reclaim once more the town of Barnabus' rest, again reminding the Halflings that they are now the front line of the Zhengi and that we will strengthen the deal by building a fortress named "Cornelius' Watch".
As for my Council Project I would like to implement the following law (crafted with the help of Dan the Necroman, whom I strongly recommend for Master of Law should the next King consider it.):
The ruler of a domain doing anything listed can directly contact The Crown to assist in removing Dark Elves. The Ruler of a domain doing anything listed previously may give found Dark Elves to the crown for due processing
Law 3-2

This law (Law 3-2) is a revision of an already created law (The third Law created by Trusted Adviser) Law 3-2 states that if a person or persons harbor, condone or assist Dark Elves (Person and persons can be brought to court to decide if something not listed goes against this law) If a person or persons do the things listed (and more) they will have to pay The Crown 40% of their annual income. Person and persons who directly aid Dark Elves will be brought to court for treason (What constitutes aid will be broken down on a case by case level) The ruler of a domain doing anything listed can directly contact The Crown to assist in removing Dark Elves. The Ruler of a domain doing anything listed previously may give found Dark Elves to the crown for due processing.

To hell with it
I declare the treaty that was signed with the halflings to hand over Barnabus' Rest null and void due to it being signed under duress and the threat of military intervention by the Halflings.
As far as I am concerned, it is Adviser territory once more and the Halfling Kingdom are illegally occupying it.
I call on my true friends and fellow Roggarions to support me as I march to retake Barnabus' Rest from the hands of the scheming Halflings, whom, while my lands burned and I fought alongside Noble Centaur, Gallant Goblin and Brave Humans alike in the war, snuck in and threatened to stab us in the back.

The Halflings have an airtight case, as confirmed by the Imperial Court.

*In a full tavern in Dragonstomb, a man stand up*
"Lads, for far too long have we suffocated from decaying body of a dead empire. The Empire as a farce from the moment of it's inception. We have been mislead and lied to by the corrupt nobles of the ruling coalition, seeking our destruction from within. When we and our Paitras brothers fought for our lives and honor against the Norse, where were the others? Where were the Dwarfs, so caught up in their grudges and bickering that they fought war against one another? Where were the Halflings, who were so proud and happy to be given the lands and people we have put so much sweat and blood there to keep secure and prosperous? THEY WEREN'T THERE!
When our Empire faced it's first true test of meddle, only Roggar and Paitras rose to the challenge! Our so called "brothers" kept back, happy that it was our blood being shed for their gain and glory. NO MORE, I SAY! TO END WITH THIS FARCE OF AN EMPIRE! LET US CAST OFF THIS DECREPIT CORPSE OF AN EMPIRE! WE DON'T NEED OUR "ALLIES", THE VIPERS THAT POISED THE EMPIRE AND CAST IT TO IT'S GRAVE! ROGGAR AND PAITRAS STAND ALONE, UNITED BY THE BLOOD THAT HAS BEEN SPLIT IN OUR GLORIOUS DEFENSE OF ONE ANOTHER! WE ARE THE RIGHTEOUS, THE TRUE BELIEVERS OF AN EMPIRE UNITED BY THE BLOOD AND SWEAT OF OUR FELLOW COUNTRYMEN, THE REAL STRENGTH OF THIS EMPIRE! FUCK THE EMPIRE! FUCK THE HALFLINGS! WE DON'T NEED THEM! FOR WE ARE THE IMPERIUM OF MAN!
*As the speech reaches it's climax, the tavern erupts into a roar, it noise blocking out the sounds of anything else in a five block distance. As the crowd reaches a fever pitch, the Dragon Guard man raises his fist, shouting all the while, as them man's eyes twinkle in the darkness of the tavern*

The school is doing well.

F&D
Our light cavalry's purpose is not so much a direct head-to-head engagement, as it is in providing utility - scouting, patrolling, communications, raiding and pursuit. The proper usage of light cavalry can be difficult and we've invested in training our officers to be able to handle maneuvers with various kinds of units.

It seems Selaven has gained the upper hand in the sea elf conflict, taking two islands from their rival. Yuleyas has offered better contracts for mercenaries and corsairs to help them - a possible sign of desperation?

In 482, rumors began to swirl around Barnaby and a few of his comrades taking a trip to the Zhong coastlines in the spring. Some spoke of individuals from Virinium and Starling undergoing the demonification process while there, but they are, once again, just rumors...

I would like to firmly deny these rumors regarding the citizens of Starling; there will always be those whom envy the better off, and this is merely the latest line of nonsense to smear mud upon the name of my family. "Monsters", "Killers", "Cannibals", and now "Demons". I should hope you do not believe in such noise my friend, for my father entrusted my sister Clarice to your care, and there WILL be a price to pay if she comes to harm.

The written word is incredibly useful for spreading information.
For example: Say that the king have a book on irrigation written, if the peasants can read then that information can be easily spread and utilized accross the entire realm.

Also, basic education would probably include improved knowledge on law (your rights as well as duties), basic mathematics and my faction's favorite: Ethics and morals.
These are things that would be very beneficial for the people and in the long run the realm itself.

Also, if you're a complete cynic that regards the people as nothing but tools then see it like this: Implementing an education system will literally bring the state into peoples lives to an entirely new degree, gradually making them more okay with having their lives regulated by the state.

We've integrated our ogre communities properly, finally mending centuries of hostility. Hopefully, man and ogre will not have to go to war ever again.

Important news! Emperor Senan Armstrong's ship, headed for the south, crashed into a cliff during a storm - there were no survivors.

In the spring of 484, we must choose a new King of Roggar at the Contest, after which another Contest will be held for the Imperial Crown.

Everyone who wants to be a candidate for Roggar's Crown, roll a 1d100 and provide me with these descriptions of your candidate.
>Name
>Age
>Race/Origin
>Skills/abilities
>What you promise to do for Roggar and the Empire
If you don't, you are disqualified from the race.
If you don't want to be a candidate or want to withdraw from the race, you can support a candidate with a 1d10 endorsement.

The Four Kings of the Empire are gathered in Dragonstomb.

>Randalf Chaezar, 21, King of Roggar.
>Javgils Ondalan, 27, Halfling King
>Kazial Ezgielan, 32, King of Paitras
>Staram Kragnan, 74, King of Kragnaal

The format of this Imperia Succession has been determined as DUELS

In the Gladiatorum in Dragonstomb, the Kings of Roggar and Paitras will face in a duel - each will wear a tunic and fight with a standart short infantry sword, with no magic being allowed in any way.

Let the fight begin!

with theses words he make a few side step while maintaining his stance and then in a burst of speed charge at great speed to make a violent thrust.
>>
Randalf is forced on the defensive, with no chances to counterattack as he must parry and dodge Kazial's swift thrusts! The duel is to first blood and Kazial has the momentum right now!

Kazial's attack made a cut across Randalf's chest and neck! The Roggarian King fell to the ground, his hands trying to stem the bleeding. Priests and medics rushed to the arena and managed to prevent our King's death - he is in treatment now. The physicians believe the cut may have affected his breathing and vocal capabilities for the future - he won't be able to sustain higher rates of breathing or raise his voice.

The next duel is between Javgils Ondalan, King of the Halflings, against Staram Kragnan, King of the Dwarves of Kragnaal and Ellstelg. The rules are the same as before - short sword, no armor, no magic, first blood.

The dwarven king's sword sliced right into the halfling's hand, making a wound between two of the fingers of his left hand, almost splitting it in two at the middle, with plenty of blood flying in every direction.
The fight is over, Staram Kragnan wins.

There are now five days of rest before the final fight. The two remaining contenders, Staram Kragnan and Kazial Ezgielan can use this time for preparations - the same rules as before will be used in the next fight. Contenders - rest, enjoy your laurels or perhaps train up for the next fight - it's up to you.

He knew what to do to set his plan in motion.
This is for the Emperor's Crown, the legions, a way to expend his realm, eternal glory and so what if a little blood has to be spilled on the way, what does it matter.
As he start walking toward the Undersized Drunkard, he reverse the grip of his sword, he stood ready to pull this technique, in two stroke on to disarm and one to kill he will end this duel by violently stabbing the smaller man from above into his chest... that is if the Gods wills it.

Surprisingly, instead of a courier, Anthony Lectre shows up in the Yalmfrid lands, drunk once again. He walks around swearing, calling Frederic Yalmfrid various things to whomever listens, and yelling about Roggarian purity.

Chilton Lectre later sends a letter deeply apologising for his son's actions and offering his condolences.

My lord Randalf V, Admiral Yalmfrid, fellow councilmembers. I must protest against this plan.

First. It is deeply immoral and unworthy of our nation. We have always conducted ourselves with dignity and honor, not as thieves in the night.

I also lack faith in the probability of success. This plan can fail at every level and would be harmful both to our security and reputation.

Furthermore. Our hated norse nemesis will surely attack our rear if we find ourselves engaged in a war against the Zhong.

Reports have come that after a hole was blown in the Zhongian border wall, black orcs invaded and took over a fort - soon afterwards the region's slaves revolted and killed many of their masters.
When the Imperial Army arrived, backed by dark elves and dragons, the rebellion was quashed.

One of the easternmost provinces of Zhongian suffered from a famine that year, before relief could arrive. Tens of thousands of peasants died, many were also left without homes. That's about it, really. If anybody thought this would make an Empire collapse, they were fooling themselves.

A&D - improving our horse collar and plough designs, developing waterways and canals to irrigate farmlands further away from fresh water sources - with a bit of magic sprinkled in to help along, we will make our lands flourish.

Selaven and Yuleyas fought for another two years - in the final battle, the Pantheonic forces of Selaven managed to take the important island of Meldemas, where large forces of mercenaries fought on both sides to protect the harbor city.
A peace was signed through which Yuleyas has conceeded its four northwestern islands to Selaven, whose fleet had a great superiority in numbers after the final battle and could've possibly gone on to attack more islands.

Duke Swifthands organized a great mission to the south - to aid in the conversion of the Black Orcs, he reoutfitted Sentinel Prime and sent him along with a force of priests and golemancers - the mighty golem would aid a potential Pantheonic chieftain in unifying the badlands.
In a way that has happened, but not quite as Duke Swifthands envisioned it...
A Black Orc warchief by the name of Gerkrank led his warriors in a surprise attack on the goblins - the orcs lost many men to Sentinel Prime's defences, but the goblins controlling him were overwhelmed and captured.

In a letter to the Duke of Gobbopolis, the Great Warchief has expressed his thanks at this wonderous gift that he will now use to unite the Badlands. Gerkrank has accepted Stoman and Kovag and through them has opened up to the worship of the Pantheon. He has united the northwestern badlands under his banners and has the largest force in the region now, but there are rumors that forces are gathering to oppose him - tales of Dark Dragons being spotted have reached us.

With the return of Barnabus' Rest to Roggar and to the Advisers, a victory parade is held.
The 15th Trusted Adviser rides a white horse ahead of his troops, accompanied by all those who strove to make this possible; Lord Nicc of the Dragon Guard, Imperator Damoetas, Duke Foreman, Duke Reinhard of Godric and the Duke of Virnium to mention a few.
Along with the column follows the casket of Corneilius, whom may finally be laid to rest in his home.
As the column comes to rest in the towns center, the 15th lays a wreath at the foot of the statue of Barnabus the Bookwright. The Halfling Kingdom flag is lowered and is replaced with the Silver skull and crossed Scrolls of the Advisers and the Black Dragon Skull on a red field of Roggar.
The ceremony comes to an end with the unveiling of a previously indefenitely covered Statue of the 13th Trusted Adviser (seen holding the letter he so famously used to insult Ledvelast) that was crafted by the Duke of Virinium.
These are great times for the Advisers. The 15th sends his thanks to those loyal friends whom go to make Roggar, Roggar.

In the year 485, ex Count Mecenas Vasentius returned to Vaesgyolis exhausted and extremely beaten up. Apparently he attacked a group of Goblin monks carrying a statuette of Domna, claiming that they were Orc slavers carrying a damsel away. His Halfling squire, Sanch Belly, carried him into the palace, when, regaining his sanity for a while, thanked him for being with him during his final years before passing away.
He has since then become rich by publishing a book detailing their adventures, titled Don Mecenas the Mad.

We'd sent scouts out to the three promising tribes - the Mordrag quickly replied positively and invited us to come to their lands.
It turns out that this tribe has in recent years taken to worshipping the Pantheonic God of Death, Mor - their old tribal name was Rishdag. Their lands sit atop ancient burial grounds that are sacred to them and the worship of Mor easiyl came to them as missionaries came to these lands.
This tribe's chieftain, Smorkot, welcomes us and discusses strategies to form a coalition against Gerkrank - the strategy meeting is interrupted by news - Warchief Gerkrank has allied himself with the Volrak and Primzak tribes. The scouts we sent to those tribes haven't returned yet.
The forces of Gerkrank and his two allied forces are now encroaching on Mordag territory.

We journey through the canyons, following a road on which carts and horses have passed before. Stopping on the bank of the river for rest, it seems as though someone's watching us - the sun is setting and from the nooks and crags one of the scouts says he can hear something - as the camp is raised on alert, an armored warrior approaches us in plain sight. A dwarf, though with features and equipment unlike that of the dwarves in our Empire.

He begins speaking - the guards nearby, not knowing his language, call for someone who can speak dwarvish. These southern dwarves speak a dialect of the language that the ones in the north use, but we can mostly understand what he's saying

Our leaders are escorted to a hidden tunnel entrance a few kilometers away - blindfolded, for security purposes.
The tunnel leads way to a large chamber, like an underground road - enough room for at least dozen men to stand shoulder to shoulder. We get on carts, pulled by oxen, and travel for over a day before reaching the underground fortress-city of Petrek. The dwarves take us to their King, Vihnkel The Old, and his council of lords, or satraps, as the locals call them.
"Men from the Holy Pantheonic Empire - what do you seek here?"

(You may have to try articulating yourselves in a manner that would convince him to aid you, rather than just saying "HELP US PLS")

Noble dwarves of the south, we come here as friends. The Empire of the Zhongi, as you may know, is being attacked by the savage hordes of the black orcs. Those orcs have gotten a powerful... Let's say artifact from our hands, and are using it to devastating effect both against the Zhongi men and wichever orc may try to defy their leader. We know that war is a terrible thing, and we are not asking you to send your armies to fight the orcs, but we need help retrieving the artifact. We see that your mighty civilization could be of great help in taking it back from under the orcs' noses. And besides, an artifact as powerful as that on the hands of savages like those is surely a danger to both man and dwarf alike.

With swift and coordinated maneuvers, our forces attacked several orcish war camps and villages, crushing all before us - after a month of successful fighting though, we've yet to see Gerkrank or Sentinel Prime.
As it turns out, we've been fighting the Rockfang and Stonkar tribes - the ones Gerkrank hadn't taken over yet. These tribes ruled over lands that the dwarves claim belong to them by right - now the clans of these lands are destroyed, enslaved or forced to flee westwards.
It appears we haven't fought any battles against Gerkrank's forces. The dwarves used this situation and our help to solidify their own positions.
What'll the next move for our party be? King Vihnkel seems cotnent with his new conquests and is already making plans to settle these lands - work is underway on a surface fort already.

The orcs round up the roggarian prisoners - all those who I haven't pronounced dead are now captives.

The Warchief comes, with a slight limp, cuts, bruises and bandages all over his body.
"Demon, you are the toughest opponent I've ever faced in my life. Say, would you like to fight by my side?" He asks Balor

"Well, as for the others, here's my proposal to you - the golem stays with me. I may have considered giving him back if you hadn't attacked my camp. With his power and the Gods' blessings, I will defeat dragons, unbelievers and invaders alike. My next step may be to fight the dwarves. They've taken parts of our lands, I won't let them get away with it that easily."

See, the golemancers here appreciate the situation, the entire party that Gobbopolis sent is now alligned with me - they are believers in the Pantheon and so am I. Stoman, Mor and Kovag are my witnesses."
>>
>>824433
You can keep the Sentinel, but tell me once you have achived you current ambitions what will you do? There has been word of a new kind of worship coming about in the Duchy of Virinum, one based around the worship of the soul and of nature; one based around improving a persons understanding of both themself and the world. It seems to not be a substitute to the pantheonic religion, replacing what the Gods stand for with the basic human nature they represent, as well as the basic five forces of nature. Although it seems to not have a name yet, it looks to be catching on with the populace, especialy the Galvanni, the original humans from around that area.

Excellent news from the realm of the Advisers.

Thanks to the correspondence with the embassy set up in the Zhong capital (more thanks to Duke Godric, whom the people of Barnabus' Rest have raised a statue to) The Advisers are proud to announce a new deal in partnership with the Zhong.

Barnabus' Rest shall be the centre of this trade, with tea, silk and other goods coming from the empire to Roggar. In return the Adviser shall (in partnership with the Duke of Virinum) send south plenty of food supplies and bottles of the now growing rapidly wine trade in the area.

The town of Barnabus' Rest shall soon become a huge bastion of wealth and the shining city of the west coast.

It is not fitting for a man that claims to teach the ways of the sages to engange in base mercantile activity!
Seeking profit at the expense of others is by definition immoral. A scholar like yourself should instead seek wisdom and enlightenment!

*Meanwhile at [REDACTED]*
*The sounds of Water striking stone and men working can be heard*

A report is given to a large man with his face concealed. "The Subject known as the Watcher was a great success, not only did he show great prowess in combat but he has shown a unique resistance to pain." This is good, if he keeps up this performance he can go through the process. "And sir, why did we pick a candidate who was nearly mute?" Believe me, this can make things easier in the future. Now get back to work.

Gate City, a place where the only laws are those you can enforce yourself. The city has no government, but demons do have some level of respect for peaceful conduct within the city, most of the time. It is a hub for slavery, magical trades, trade, a resting place for warlords and pirates alike.

We've traveled far and long - have a free turn, get some rest, enjoy yourselves, maybe go shopping or something.

Looking for various things throughout the day, little result was yielded - you met up in a tavern in the evening. You found yourselves consuming copious amounts of food, alcohol and drugs and listening to the lectures of a female demon philosopher-mage. "The Pantheon offers solace and hope for all misguided people! Divata, one of the pantheon, is the goddess of the wilds! She will guide you all to live in these harsh desert conditions! The Pantheon is an awesome religion that will surely provide you peace and comfort."

Our expedition is currently at Greenlast, an oasis that is a blessing for travellers in this part of the desert, as it is the only one for many miles of sand.

We've learned of three settlements on the coast - the demon pirate havens of Karsogan and Zelfpir and the city of Alar-Hicham, in which demons live alongside other races.

We know that the city of Haslgadam lies further southwest of Alar-Hicham, in the heart of the desert - even further west is the dark elf city of Aeldabad.

I recommend you cooperate so that we can put the facts before our king and have him pass judgement.

Our king is a saintly and wise lord who rules by wisdom. If nobody have done anything wrong then nobody got anything to fear.

According to my family scrolls..

Dark elves are not Devils who corrupt minds and bend empires and kings to their will.
The First civil war started because of Ill Advised decisions carried out by the nobility and Royalty of the time period. Dark elves appearing in Godric court at that time was merely an Alliance deal. The godric king was a supporter of Roggar and wanted more land. The means appeared in the form of the horde and the dark elves.

Paitras was just clay in the eyes of the king and he wanted it all.

He would have crucified the dark elves for just one of their villages. As long as he was remembered a Godric will do anything...

Adviser your past law was made in malice and pure bigotry. You violated the dark elf NAP and now you Violated Scathach's right to Sex up some dark elf pucci

There's no transmutation wizards here. You did find a depressed demon with a golden right hand though. You shared drinks and stories as brothers in faith.

You learn that Hasgaldam, the city to the southwest, worships a living Air Titan. The city we are in has a large temple that is home to a Water Dragon, the object of worship of most locals.

You hired two young high elves - one of them turned out to be a man. Both know how to shoot bows, fight with sword and spear and use some Pantheonic magic. They are a couple out travelling in the world, looking to learn more of it - the man's name is Shenam, the woman's name is Mija.
>>828897
You cleaned yourself and were able to relax.

You got bitten by a poisonous snake when you bumped into a familiar-looking goblin in the marketplace. You had to use all of your remaining money to buy an antidote.

We reach Hasgaldam - the largest desert city, it is located in a hollow, surrounded by hills, rich in ores. The hollow has plenty of fresh water, making the area perfect for the development of civilization. Caravans travel to and from the city every day and its population can rival that of some of the largest cities in our Empire.
We've just entered the city. It's noon and quite warm.

The Ice Lords suffered many losses in the Storm, I doubt there are any left on this continent. Last I heard of the Storm Lords, one had gone to the western side of this continent. I can tell you about another Lord of Wind - my sister, Ahinashada, lives to the southwest. I haven't seen her in many decades."
>>829347
"The Storm was a culmination of centuries of conflicts between the Old Ones, the dragons, the titans and the mortal races. The final battle saw the Gods lose their power - whether they perished or were imprisoned somewhere, I know not. You call it "The Storm", but it is a war that lasted for half a century and ended with most of the titans perishing and the mortal empires collapsing. The Pantheon were lesser servants of the Old Gods at the time, but in their absence seem to have taken on their role. They may have their place in the Heavens, but we, the Immortal Lords of this Plane, are more than able to take care of our mortal followers."

For fucks sake - these bloody gnomes have been sitting in Roggar for far too long, not doing a thing to help the locals other than what they're forced to. These cowardly gnomes themselves are too churlish to everyone but themselves, and it seems I must settle this myself. I wish no quarrel with the Military Council, but their vassal threatens the peace within Roggar and they do nothing to keep them in check. They insult others such as the Lectres, or hide away in battle rather than standing to fight. This matter is best settled with iron and blood.

They make claims such as creating towns for Roggar, but they merely built a single village for themselves. They claim to have brought skilled labor to Roggar, but they did that to serve their own pruposes. They claim to have built an institute to gain intellectuals - yet their psuedo-intellectualism and shitty behavior prove that if anything, their mere presence decreases the intelligence of your average Roggarian.

I have allies who stand with me to answer my call, including those these gnomes insist on taunting. I will declare a minor vassal war if the king allows it.

I would be willing to stand down if, and ONLY IF, these demands are met:

1. You will rename the village of Danzig, and 150 of your gnomes will settle in Divata's Daughters' lands

2. You hand over the desert troll recipe to the Lectres.

3. You seek to lead a legion in battle the next time we go to war to prove your honor

This is no official declaration of war yet, but it will be if the demands are not kept and the King allows this to happen.

If the King stops the war, I will duel the leader of the gnomes myself.
>>
The daughters of Divata declare the feud to be over under the circumstance that the gnomes rename the village to something other than Danzig.
>>
>>832239
That is agreeable. Gnomes, what say you?
>>
>>832248
I will drop the feud and rename the village, but to prove my honor and commitment to Roggar, I will strive to lead a legion.
>>
>>832263
In addition, I'm willing to buy that recipe from you about desert trolls.
>>

>>
>>832263
I'm also a buyer for the recipe.
>>
>>832286
A person of noble blood of course, I just want a closer relationship for the town we are trying to build
>>832287
Sure, same deal
>>
>>832296
Alright, you can have Cernunnos' (he's a male) hand in marriage.
>>
>>832303
With great saddness, Carthic Barca cedes the recipe to one of Barnaby's spawn. The gnomes are sadden by this, but it must be done
>>
>>832287
Also the godrics also seem to want the recipe, even if it involves devoring a sentient. The gnomes hand it over non the less.
>>
>>832406
Alas, it appears Cernunnos is with Divata's Daughters to train in nature magic, and will run off in case he is forced to marry a gnome... it appears I get the recipe for a mere 20 gold then... ;^)
>>
>>832418
In the citadel, a letter was handed to a gnome and autistic screeching was heard for the rest of the day. What this mean for diplomatic relationships, only time will tell.
>>

>>
In recent News
Cernunnos was spotted performing Obscene actions with one of the teaching staff at MAGA.

Halis Swiftwood to be precise.
Oh how Roggar has fallen.

Also I will be sending Officers and troops to the daughters of Divata to Receive nature magic and to help my Apprentices. The whitevaynes, Being married to this faction take annual trips to The great bridge for summer time fun.
>>
>>834574
Cernunnos has done none of those things... if you keep on with this slander I'll be forced to take corrective action.

He's not even at MAGA you fucking moron, he's with Divata's Daughters.
>>
>>834574

In the bitter winter of 495, the Crimson Order, alternatively known as the Volcanic Order, has been established on Eigersil. Based on the principles of enlightenment of all and the study of history and fire magic, these knights, myself included, will be studying at the Hawthorne Academy of Fire Magic for the time being, hoping to increase their skills and recruit others to the Order.

Important personnel are:

- myself
- Balor
- Scathach
- Lothran
- Norak
- Kaketh

While a formalized weapon + command structure have yet to be formalized, this outfit will serve as the base for most of the order, subject to modification of course.

I would agree my friend, but it seems Avarice here would see blood spilled first... greedy for battle it seems.

Avarice pushes himself up from the floor.

"I submit Sir, you are more then a match for me. Stoman has chosen you victorious this day. A Knight must live with humility and honour both things I hope you too will learn in time youngling. I wish not for your people to follow in the way of Nayte, immortality is a curse not a boon and will only build resentment from your fellow Roggarians. I wish you best of luck in the coming days but remeber this, the Knights of Mor are ever vigilant and if you one day stray from this bath of enlightenment and learning for the darkness we will be waiting, blades in hand."

Avarice puts forward his hand.

Barnaby thrusts his hand forward as well.

"I'm going to choose to ignore the veiled threat, and go home. Good fight my friend.

"That is not a veiled threat Sir, as your order would strive for enlightenment, mine strives for the destruction of evil where ever it may lurk. In the summer of 496 the Ogrelord Volga disappeared on an expedition to the southern continent the only thing to return from that expedition were some pineapple seeds and the recipe for gobrew. In the tournament to determine his successor, the shaman he narrowly beat last time entered as a heavy favorite

1-5 -> Warrior candidate
5-99 -> Shaman
100 -> Mystery
>>
>>838735
During this same expedition, some of my information was leaked... Indeed, there does reside a tree that radiates a magical aura on Kerguelen. Whether or not it is some form of deity is another matter altogether - but the fact this info was leaked will not be forgotten.
