"Eldric, your hand is going up my skirt." - she says softly in between kisses, looking down at it
"Sorry."
"Why?"
"I... thought it was a problem?"
"No." - she smiles casually- "If it was a problem, Mai would have cut it off."

Our cutesy princess sometimes strays into cute-yet-scary, doesn't she?

"Than, why mention it...?"

I honestly want to keep Business Trip with Mako for when we go to Alquia with her.

"Alright."

As we enjoy to caress Mako's smooth, warm skin, she leans forth to hold from our jacket, and entrusts herself to us without any worry, letting us do as we please during the kiss.

She happily rises ever so slightly towards us, so we take the chance to pull her unto our lap. She lets out a surprised little squeal when we do so, but quickly resumes kissing us as our hands explore her.

"Eldric."
"Yes" - we give her a gentler kiss while gently holding her right hand and caressing her left leg.
"Somehow, it feels funny when you kiss me like this..."
"You don't like it?"
"I like it." -she admits honestly
"Then there's no problem."
"Alright."

After a while, we start unbuttoning her shirt, and kissing down her neck while she remains in our lap. She's apple red, and looks down while shivering a little bit.

Once we have stripped her down to her surprisingly daring underwear (I wonder if it would be Ren, the shadows, or Mako's own taste), and leaned her down on the bed to continue kissing her, she gently lifts a knee to press her thigh against our side, her hands reaching up to hold our head as she kisses us back.

Right, we had kissed in our swimsuits before. Is that why she's alright with this? She really has no problem with this, then...

>Let's take off her underwear. Still just kissing and caressing, though

And so, after a casual nod by Ami and Mai, we gently but efficiently remove Mako's silky garments, fully exposing her beautiful body to the room.

"Eldric, it's cold..." - if that's her only complain, it's fine.

Even so, she's blushing a little, though? I really don't get her scale for embarrasing.

"Got It. I'll make you warm."

We lean in and start kissing and caressing her. Her body is smooth and soft, so terribly wonderful to caress. Soon, she is shivering for a different reason as we kiss her lips, neck and breasts alternatively, our hands gently exploring her valleys and cliffs.

"Ah!" -she gasps softly as she has her very first orgasm as we kiss her.- "That..."
"Good girl." -we kiss her again
"I am, a good girl?"
"Yes, very good. Here, and here."

We gently teach her to enjoy herself, keeping from crossing a final line as we do, instead getting her used to our hands and lips on her body.

After a while, we finally notice it is night time, which means it is probably quite late back home.

We both have an early day tomorrow.... of course I want to stay and continue kissing and enjoying my beautiful Mako, but I think she had quite enough of a experience as is...

"Mako. I need to go."
"Uuuh, but, why?" -she sounds like a spoiled child, but also very sweet and pure. She genuinely wants us to stay and hold her.
"We have to get up early tomorrow."
"Uuuuh..." -she concedes.

Let's kiss her a little more first.

"Eldric, d-don't bite!" -she whimpers and shivers as we gently nibble at her engorged nipple, our hands holding her from the waist and the back of her neck.
"But I want to mark my beautiful Mako with my teeth."
"S-scary! Eldric!"
"Just a little...?"
"B-but..."
"Be a good girl."
"...alright... hnn!? hh!"

She winces a little as we enjoy her, sending a shiver up and down her spine before taking our lips to her own and kissing her again.

A long and sweet good night kiss.

There's a bite mark on her tender nipple.
I don't want it to go away.
Mako is mine, that's proof, you know?

"Meanie..." -she pouts a little as we pull apart, and we stop her as she lifts her small hand towards her sore breast.
"Don't touch it. Leave it be."
"But..."
"It shows Mako is mine."
"...alright." -she says with a smile and a deep, full body blush.

We lean in to kiss her again, and finally pull away from her to leave the room.

Before we make it out, though, one of Ren's shadows intercepts us.

"Her majesty wishes to speak with you." -she announces casually
"A-alright."

Ren's really protective of Mako. What do we say if she gets angry about this?

And so, we follow (I think is Mia) to Rens private room.

Well, normally, she and Mako sleep together, but they do have their own rooms.

There, we see Ren is sitting on her heels, knees together as she waits for us near the low table by the garden doors.

Is a couple of large sliding doors, that can also be counted as a wall, albeit they're mostly hand painted paper on a light wooden frame.

Unsafe? With all the security in the palace, if an enemy manages to make it to Ren's room, a wall wouldn't make any difference, would it?

"Duke, do come in. Please take a seat."

Ah, Ren has taken to always calling us Duke by now, hasn't she?

We take a seat across from her, a little nervous. Its like sitting across from a much more playful Mako, really.

"Duke, you have many fianceés."
"Yes." -we admit obediently
"You, remember our deal, right? You will give us a child first."
"Yes?"
"Yes."

Right, we did agree to that, so...

"Now?"
"No."

...alright?

"But, you know, there's a problem. Even if you do, there's a chance than in two or three generations, Mako's children will cause trouble."

I guess...? Well, they will be of royal bloodline, after all.

"You would never hurt her."
"Of course not. So, I want to talk with you about solutions to that. The first one..."

She explains to us several ideas she's come up with

>She'll send us to Alquia to talk about placing Mako in power there. It will be rather scary for Mako, but it will secure a sizeable power, large enough to fully occupy her future descendants.

>Have Mako drink a special potion to change her hair color and those of her descendants, giving up the throne. It's been used before, so it's safe.

>Plaving a curse on Mako to guarantee that her descendants will always be male. That would downright eliminate any chance they will claim the Jade throne, since the Empire's rulers must always be female.

>She's open to suggestions (other)

>>
>>812394
>She'll send us to Alquia to talk about placing Mako in power there. It will be rather scary for Mako, but it will secure a sizeable power, large enough to fully occupy her future descendants
We already have an invasion fleet planned with General Li to reconquer the Alquian colonies for the Empire, and our original idea was that Mako would rule the colonies while Ren controlled the Jade Throne.
And if Mako wants to visit Ren, there's always teleport platforms or Treestriding.
>>
>>812411
but isn't the fleet going get blown to bits?
>>
>>812422
We're talking about the plan for dealing with succession issues right now, not about bumps that we will experience while executing that plan.

And Eldric, because of the way we played him, was too preoccupied with having a second childhood instead of putting his knowledge and maturity to good use that he completely missed the implications of Alquia having access to turbine engines.
It won't hit him that the voices in his head telling him to take it easy instead of teching up really fast were wrong until he gets the report of the Imperial invasion fleet being blasted apart by armored flying battleships sporting naval cannons on turrets that ran rings around the Mantequiran Rock-it ships.

Alright guys, let's continue. Going to Alquia sooner than originally planned.

***

We talk with Ren for a bit longer, shewants to send us as a diplomatic mission at our earliest convenience.

And after we agree, she keeps looking at us...

Ah, she's waiting for us to assigna date? Right now?

We have a rather stable schedule right now, so, I guess we can go as long as we can treestride for work from time to time... actually, we'll be spending our nights there, and quite a lot of time, right?

Shouldn't this be done after the invasion fleet has done battle with Alquia?
Or is Ren overriding the military and wants us to postpone the invasion fleet until after our diplomatic meeting, and keeping an invasion on standby in case Alquia refuses?
>>
>>814437
This is to make Alquia submit to the Jade Throne and become a part of te Heavenly Empire again, right?
I want to make sure that Alquia will be brought to heel.
>>
>>814437

>We should go with just Mako and some imperial lion guards, in a more official mission
Mybe if that guy is still alive we could end the fight with out a full scale war
>>
>>814457
>>814445

Well, she wants to send us via the fleet. So we arrive to port with 32 rock-it battleships when we disembark

Wqs wondering why it didnt post when i checked just now, turns out the pic was posted already
>>
>>814497
So she wants to turn the invasion fleet into a diplomatic fleet, and to arrive as a negotiator instead of as a conqueror.

Yeah, I suppose it can be done.
When the Alquian navy shoots first and damages the flagship that Mako is on, I hope that it jolts the Empire out of complacency and puts them on a true war footing.
>>

Gunboat diplomacy, yes.

Aw cmon, an alquian officer would never shoot a ship with Mako on it...
>>
>>814543
>an alquian officer would never
No, but the engineer who designed the battleships or the exiled minister aren't Alquian officers, are they?
And if the officers don't know that Mako is on board, then there isn't anything stopping them from opening fire, is there?

again, darnit

Alright, so propose something else i guess?
>>
>>814577
No, don't. Because Eldric hasn't been paying attention, even with his incredibly high Int and Wis.
He didn't make the leap from seeing Alquia using turbine engines and that they might have an engineer capable of introducing tech that he can't build himself.
He hasn't been paying attention to what the exiled minister has been doing.

The Alquian ships firing on the Heavenly Empire fleet should come as a complete shock to him, because this is the way that the players made his choices.
We know about the engineer and the exiled minister only because of the out-of-character scene you showed us. That information should not be allowed to affect the choices available to us in-game.
>>
>>814602
Well, at least we fixed the shields so we can direct them forth towards the other ships
>>
btw im still waiting on you guys making a decision, or should I gi with just the 1 vote?

Well, to be honest, we could just send a young tree on the flagship and [Treestride] to it on the day of arrival, or use it as a way back and forth so we can go on the trip and still go to work by [Treestride]

It would be nice to spend three weeks with Mako, and we can just [Treestride] together to school and work from the ship that way.

"...alright then. What about you kissing the little sister we are incredibly protective of while she was in the nude right before coming into our room?"

We just spit our drink all over the table.

Give her a look.
She's grinning a little.
This empress is scary sometimes...

Once she's had her fun grilling us for a while, she goes back to the topic of the fleet, and wants to know how many ships are ready right now.

Like so, we go back to work-related issues. [1]

After a while, she asks about our friends and fianceés, including our little sisters for some reason.

"You are not sleeping with Zoe yet?"
"What do you mean yet? Shouldn't you say 'still'? And she's old enough to sleep in her own bed now. Has been for a while, too. She's really independant and reliable for her age."
"...you can be truly oblivious sometimes, duke."

She sighs and shakes her pretty head a little bit.

I wonder what that was about.

Well, after a while, she moves over to sit next to us, and pours us a new cup of tea.
Uh, it feels a little awkward to sit like this with her after being with Mako like that...

"So, I read a report from general Li. The islands have been successfully evacuated already, so we have about 6 months to prepare an ambush for the [ERROR]s, do you have any plans for such a thing?"

Ah, it really was work related... just because she looks just like her sister, it doesn't means she's the shy little flower she is.

"Plant type?" -the pretty empress looks at us with a raised eyebrown- "Aren't those the weakest monster type?"
"Well, yes, but it has been brought to my attention that they are actually highly effective against the [ERROR]s"

We talk about it for a while.

Plant monsters really do have a terrible reputation, somehow. It's almost as if someone had slandered them on purpose.

But that's just silly, right?

They are famous for being weaker than the average monster, hard to train, insatiable, and extremely agressive.

...the insatiable bit we can sort of agree with after Fleur tried to eat every single enemy her party took down on the dungeon, but a simple 'no' was enough to stop her.

Agressive is just... after seeing her coo helplessly while Athena and Elysia were having fun by trying to water her... not really. No. Just can't see it.

And she did great in the party. It is true that she had trouble with flying monsters, but she did great against land-based opponents (and flying monsters who couldnt gain enough height), so its hard to agree to that...

It really feels as if someone had slandered them on purpose, but it would had been quite hard and required insistent, systematic work over a incredibly long period of time and all across the world.

It can't be, right?

>Yeah, I'm sure its just a coincidence. We have too much in our plate as is, no need to go chasing after maybes and ifs

I sort of want to throw Ren being 'old fashioned' about monsters at Eldric. Would be interesting if she talks with Mako about hers and Eldric's sex life later...

...but it may be too much drama and/or weirdness?

Anyway, let's stop here for tonight, and continue around here next week.

...I sort of do wanna throw Ren thinking a relationship, of any kind, with a pet, its weird.

On the fence about it, though.
>>
>>815529
Ren starting off as old fashioned makes sense; she hasn't lived alongside these intelligent pets like Lyann, Aritsu, and Mako. She also hasn't experienced the actual shift of Monster to Person that happened with Fahima.
I think she'll accept it as something eccentric with Eldric, but it won't really make sense to her until the Honey Fairies undergo the change.

>>

>2nd base with Mako, all Alquia's base are belong to us with Ren
This sounds pretty good.

So some things on our agenda:
>Late-night Dungeon Runs to grind levels
Emphasis on XP over everything else. Remember to reward the Pets after each run. Tanis especially.

>Talk with Aritsu, Sinoe, and Lezard about our upcoming wedding, how we should spin this marriage to the elves of Yellowleaves, and any political and cultural things we should be aware of
The last part we should really do the research on our own, or at least do it privately with Lezard. I think Aritsu would better appreciate our cultural knowledge and accommodation if we did without asking her.
We should also discuss bringing Sinoe more into the workings of the United Nations, such as being informed of progress on Peacekeeper Command and our XCOM Project, since once we marry Aritsu, we're going to be bringing the Yellowleaves Forest into the UN.
Also I think now would be a good time to get some information about the Silverspire Forest elves; maybe as an information dump since we should have learned about it in our 15 years of growing up in Albion.

>Acquiring land on the different continents so that the Honey Fairies will become People, and not just civilized Monsters.
We need to do this for Mantequira, Heven, and Lapsiona.

>Consider Plant defenses for Lightbringer Keep, Eopolis, and capital cities
We should speak with the United Nations Council (all our friends) about the phenomenon we observed with our Plant Pet (Plant-type Monsters eat ERRORs), and depending on the results of combat tests in the Jade Islands, dedicating soldiers of their respective armies and of Peacekeeper Command to be Beastmasters with a full Menagerie of Plants.

>Check on the progress of Aurora and Kiana
We should go to Kya and Dusk and ask Dusk to handle their education in the Path of the Maid. Also make sure that they hit Scion and get Archdruid so that they can Treestride on their own.

>Scout out and start up the main Shield Factory in the Black Lake Free Cities
>>
>>816345
>>817261
>Talk with Uncle Wolfric about treaties, governing, and becoming a proper leader
Alard has the responsibility of governing Eopolis, but Eldric must lead the United Nations, as well as properly administering the city of Mantequira. We have lots of treaties and things to manage, like legislation on slaves and what to do about the breeding pits of Bastion.

>Follow up on who started the propaganda against Plant Monsters
First, ask Tapac, our retired god head butler, and his daughter, Euphrosyne the demi-goddess nanny. Then we could see if our old adventuring buddies Brass, Python, and Miiyau can help us by going around to different towns and cities to ask at their Adventurer Guilds. We could also potentially write up Guild Requests in the Guilds of the Heavenly Empire, Heven, and Lapsiona.

>Have a strategic meeting with General Li
We need to coordinate with General Li concerning training troops as Beastmasters to get Plant Pets in preparation for our plan, as well as allocating ships and supplies for the field test of our weapons against the ERRORs.
We also should coordinate with Honoria, Asmund, and Okaba to be present at the test as well.

Tp be honest, part of the problem is that plants tend to be very well rounded up, skill-wise. IE they are not bad at anything, but neither are they "good" at anything. They have average values pretty much everywhere, though they get huge bonuses vs undead, constructs and [ERROR]s

Oh, that reminded me that Sbastia has a huge undead/construct army, and that was one of the key things that they used during the war with Alquia to completely secure the borders of the Northern Coalition, making flanking attacks by the Alquians and their Orc allies impossible.
When we had first developed the portable mana condenser, we were planning on using it to power battle constructs from heavily shielded control rock-it ships.
I don't remember if we had developed that into an actual prototype or not.

Asmund did. He has unarmed (but heavily armored and shielded), small rock-it ships whose sole purpose is to be mobile power generators for his country's automaton army.

Basically a magitech protoss carrier, I guess?

Or a CIS droid command ship.

That's another idea that we had but couldn't concentrate on so the actual scientists and engineers ended up creating instead.
You'd think that having a chance to take graduate level courses would have given us a chance to be a real magitech engineer, but it seems that Eldric has been a real slacker for the past 10 years.

Well, thanks to the thesis we presented, we got the lab to ourselves, so we can support important projects that ended being useful against the [ERROR]s, like the forcefields, the development of weapons, and.. uhm, the monster -> person / person -> monster project isnt really directly useful, but helps us with social engineering, I guess.

Which was mostly done by Lyann and Aritsu.

Come to think of it, what about Aritsu's thesis? She wanted to get her own doctorate, and we should be helping her with that.

She wanted to create offensive positive energy spells. You know, use healing energy as an attack vs more than undead, but her efforts all look as if she was just using white fire in every way, so it looks like there's not much point to it.

Doesn't ignites stuff, though, just deals 1/2 damage to living things, 2x damage to undead, and no damage to constructs, so it looks pretty temperamental and situationally useful at best.

Right now her attitude is "Well, at least now we know."

Is it still going to be her thesis, or is she changing topics?

Would this fit for a tanned Aritsu?

Rather flat chested, isn't she? Aritsu is more generously endowed
