The night passes by-
relatively peacefully.

Relatively.

Oh, sure. You still hear the scuttling of guards outside your door. You still hear the occasional bump and trip in the hallway. You still hear the swearing, and the chattering; not to mention the ruckus.

Feels like home.
Home on the open ocean.

You are Jack Albator, king of your dreams, lordship of your visions, and even here you're an excellent defender of truth and justice.
You're also one in real life, but it's been a struggle convincing others of your noble cause.

Right now, you are the captain of your own little ship. You sail it peacefully into the night, and plot a course to sensible rest.

--

Or, you would, if the door that leads into your room wasn't bothering you again.

"Jack." You hear from the other side, "Jack, it's like a few hours before noon."

>Oh god damn it.
>Angry swearing.

God damn rotten son-of-a-bitch pile of-

Wait! You got the perfect out for this!

"Jack's not here!"

Ha! Yes!

You turn over in bed, and let the pillow meet your face.
You're not letting any of this disturb your well-deserved rest.

You hear a 'tsk' outside the door; followed by a cough.

"Suit yourself."
This is closely followed by footsteps walking away from the wooden barrier.

Thank god.

You don't need any heroism, trouble, or responsibility right now.

All you need is sleep.

Your boots nimbly take you away from the door, and still notice that you're still walking funny from last night.
You turn back to the door; thinking that you may just have half the mind to blow it open and drag Jack out of bed. You both have important work to do, and it might require the two of you.

At the same time, it may be best to just let sleeping drunkards lie.

You are Cody Remington.

Damn woman.
She's hot as she can be, but she's like a succubus trying to steal your soul.

You are, of course, talking about your 'fiance'. Your summoner, your squeeze, your captor: Amaretti E Pastillage.

Fine girl, nice ass, huge tits, but possessive.
Oh, forget it, you know exactly the problem: She's a loon.

You now look forward to hero duties just because it's a real good excuse to get away from her watchful eye for more than a few minutes.

Just a few minutes, though.
Yikes.

Anyway, apparently there was a fight and Clair disappeared last night? You don't know the whole story. Yuuki might know more, because she apparently went after her. She, too, still hasn't got out of bed this morning.

Which just leaves you with the kids running around in the hall, tsk.

Kayda has been acting like a wallflower; unwilling to leave one of the benches as she watches Louise try to flag one of the maids down for Lunch.
She's been like that all morning.

>Oh hell, am I gonna have to have one of those heart-to-heart things?
>Nope, I'll let Louise handle that and go wake up Yuuki.
>Forget it, they're having lunch, I might as well too.

Kayda continues staring at Louise. Her face remains stoic, and her expression refuses to chance.
She's even forgetting to blink.

Is this about her summoner runnin' away or something?

She needs to just get over it.

If your summoner ran away; you'd probably enjoy the brief vacation.
..Then again, you have a different relationship with your summoner than she would.

You don't want to go over there and talk because it would probably result in you saying or doing something that may leave the wrong impression on the child heroes.
Besides, you've never been as good with the kids as Yuuki.

Nor do you know how to sit down and have tough talks with them.

At the same time, Kayda does look very miserable.
She looks like she just lost one of the few things precious to her.

She's not in a volatile mood at the moment, and she doesn't appear to be crying. So, you suppose now is the only time to maybe have a talk about this.

Slowly, you approach Kayda. She doesn't even look up in your direction as you sit next to her.

"Hey, Kayda? You okay? Is there anything you want to talk about?"
"No." She replies immediately.

At least that answers that question.

"C'mon Kayda, you're over here looking like a bump, and you're not even playing with Louise. What's goin' on?"

"How can I play at a time like this?!" Kayda bites back, "I am the worst person EVER!"

"T'heh." You hold back a laugh, "Self-hating redskin, that's a new one."
"What?" Kayda looks up at you.
"-What I mean is, you can't be the worst person ever. Clair is still out there, and she's the worst one of them all."

"Hmph." Kayda looks back to Louise happily trying to interrupt the maids, "Yeah and I worked for Clair, that makes me like, double bad."

"Hey, I've worked for bad guys before, too. As long as you aren't doing something bad, you can't be blamed for their crimes."
She crosses her arms, "Is that so?"
"Yep." You lean back, "You aren't judged based on other people's actions."

Louise reaches up and grabs a maid's apron. With a pull, she nearly yanks the top right off that maid.
Good girl.

"I don't care about her actions though, I just want things back the way they were."

"What, are you sayin' you liked being pushed around?"

"Not that." She grimaces, "I don't like being treated like a kid."

You look toward Kayda, and notice that she hasn't changed her expression.
"Like, home-home." She continues, "Not that stupid castle with the dolts."

You lean back, and sigh.
If you were twelve or thirteen or however old she is; you wouldn't imagine ever wanting to go home.

"Hey, Louise." you flag the little blonde hellion down.
"Huh?" She stops her grabby hands for a minute to focus on you.

"'ere, let me show you how you get the maid's attention."

Fortunately, Yuuki isn't around you see you do this.

You stand up and come across one of the maids carrying a simple tablecloth. Picking your target is always one of the biggest challenges.
With a swoop, your hand moves in behind her, and makes the snatch.

"EEK!" The maid squeaks in a girlish tone, and drops the linen. Your fingers wrap around the tiny bones of her tail as it wrestles to get away.

Kayda and Louise stare onward, in awe.

"Hey sweet cheeks." You make it a note to slide your fingers down her tailbone. "The kids could use some food, so get us some soup, would'ya? Bring it to the cafeteria later, with, I don't know, maybe yourself."

"B-t I- Um- I- " The maid is almost trembling.

"Come on, honey. Just for me."

She picks up her tablecloth, and hurries toward the kitchen.
Hot touch, you still got it.

--

Kayda purposefully chooses the least populated part of the hall to sit. Louise follows behind her and tries to sit next to Kayda.
Immediately, Kayda stands up and moves to the opposite side of the table.

Darn it, moody kids are the worst, and moody women follow shortly thereafter. So of course you had to get both.

Kayda continues sitting across from Louise, and glaring at her.
The whole time, Louise seems to be happily in her own little world. She babbles incessantly about clothes, food, and Clair. Never once does she notice Kayda's sour mood.

This is female tension on levels of which you have never bore witness to.
Kayda looks absolutely miserable. You're not entirely sure about the story of last night, but you got a general idea from Aligot.

You need to say something.
You are technically the only adult at the table.

Of course, you have to stray from saying anything that might serve as a bad example.
You're sure you can do it!

Pretty sure, at least.

"Hey, hey, come on now. Aren't you two friends?"

"Yess!" Louise is beaming, "We're the two best friends in the whole universe!"
"Stop it, okay!?" Kayda snaps at Louise, "I'm not in the mood.. I wasn't in the mood last night, and I'm still not now."

"Hey, quit that." You scold Kayda. "What happened last night? You two have an argument over dinner? No reason to get in a lovers spat over that. Just kiss and make up."

Both of them look at you, confused.
"What?" they both say, at the same time.

Oh, damn it. You didn't mean to take it that far. You wanted NO bad influences, none. Besides, you're sure they're both like thirteen.

Ah well, they didn't get that joke, anyway.

"Never mind, but what I mean is- why last night got you down? Aligot told me your problem was cured, shouldn't you be happy?"

"No." Kayda looks back toward the tabletop. "As long as Greta is out there, I'm not happy."

"Hey, hey now. We're workin' on it."

"Not fast enough, and I'm not out there helping." She grimaces, again.

"Kayda, stop." Louise leans over the table, "The problem is being worked on, and you're not being useless!"
"Louise, no, not now."
"Kayda, look at me."

Louise is practically laying on the table now, and puts her forehead right against Kayda's and stares straight into her eyes.
"This. is. not. your. fault." Louise continues holding Kayda's head. "Come on, give me that smile, I know you have it! I saw it last night!"

"Come on! Just once! Show me that smile!"

"Louise no, no, NO! Stop it. I'm not in the mood."

"You're always in the mood if you smile!"

You smile, "Yeah that's what she sai-"
No.
Stop.
Resist the urge!

Bad Cody!

Kayda is still miserable, so the least you can do is be the least bit supportive!

"Kayda, sweetie. I know you're feelin' bad right now. But doin' anything except waiting for the mages to finish their investigatin' is just gonna get you, me, and Louise in a whole lot of trouble."

"I want to go look for her..."
"I know you do, Kayda."

"We ARE going to go look for her!" Louise continues her enthusiastic rant, "Just as soon as we know where Clair is, we can go!"

"Yeah, sure."

The same maid you groped earlier emerges from the back room, balancing a platter on both of her arms. She has even managed to balance one on her head! That's some talents, right there.
Oh, and the trick with the food on her head is neat, too.

She sets the bowls down, and proceeds to scramble away as quickly as possible. Your hand grabs, but just barely misses.

Okay, this isn't working out very well.

You may not be the brightest man, and terrible with the fickle feelings of women; but even you can see the problem present here.
There should be some other activity that can get Kayda's mind off of this.

Louise basically inhales her portion of soup, and Kayda merely picks at the chicken floating in the bowl.

Oh, you just had a thought.

"Hey, after this. Training."
"Training?!" Louise's eyes affix to you.
"Training? Why?" Kayda frowns, "Are you just trying to waste my time?"

"Cut the sass, and no." You sip at your spoon, "It's because we're gonna go fight Clair soon, I don't know what she has with her, and neither of you have been doing much fighting lately. Dorje is excused because he was at least trying something yesterday."

He was very, very bad at shooting. Yet, at the very least, he was trying something.

"So, after this, training for both to yous."
"But-"

"But what, Kayda? Gonna mope some more? Louise can train in your place, then."

"No! No." Kayda snaps back, "That sounds good.."

--

BAM!
A tiny pellet of lead flies toward the target dummy. It sails far too low to hit anything of value.

You hold back making an audible sigh.

Louise, shaking with a tiny tear at her eye, lowers the iron. It continues to shake, even with it held at her side.

"O-o-o-kday, I s-shot it, y-y-y-our turn K-Kayda."

"No." you state, clearly disappointed. "Shoot it again, try not to wet yourself."
"B-b-b-b-b- you said I only had to shoot it once!"

You sigh, and take the rifle from her hands.
With a motion, you reload it and hand it to Kayda. She easily places it to her eyes and makes the same exact shot. The bullet lands square in the center of the target dummy.

With a smile toward Kayda; who doesn't seem as sad anymore, she hands you the rifle.

Louise's face locks onto your eyes, and she starts shaking in anticipation to your next words.

"Your turn."

>"-To watch Kayda shoot again, because she's better at it than you are."

"Louise." You kneel down to her eyeheight, "Why are you acting this way around a gun? Almost everyone you know uses one."
"I'm not scared of guns!"
"I didn't say you were scared of guns."

"I'm not scared!"

"Do you just not like them? Never been trained with one? Come on, Louise. Give me answers, here."

"I've only fired a gun once or twice before, and it was smelly, it was dirty, and it was SO LOUD! I hate how loud they are!"
"Why are you okay when Kayda fires her rifle? She's a natural with that."
"Because at least then I can cover my ears."

What? Does the sound bother her? You can get some beeswax and plug her ears, but-

"Let's see if you aren't better with something else, first."

"I'm not good with other things. I want to use what Kayda is using."

"Let's just-"

You look over your shoulder to notice something that you're not sure how you missed before.

Spears.

No, no. You remember the schoolteacher telling you something about this a loong, long time ago. It's strange how this is one of the few things she ever told you that you remember. Spears are long, pointed sticks of which you hold.
These things are called 'Javelins'. They're like a spear, that you throw.

They lay in a big pile near the ranged weapons training. They appear to be dulled for practice.
It seems Fritelli was trying to get her soldiers into thrown weapons at some point.

You didn't consider it, mostly because you notice all the discarded and broken javelins riddling the training field: but Heroes should be pretty effective with something that they can throw. It's not like they don't have super-strength, or anything.

Louise eyes the firearm with panic. You try to ignore her mumbling protests and grab a few long, barbed sticks from the training rack.

"Hey, try this."

You hand her the throwing implement. To her, it's almost a full-sized spear.

"Throw this, pointy side-out, as hard as you can at that training dummy."
"This thing?"
"Yeah, go ahead."

She sighs, and, in poor-form, flings the stick wildly away from the target.
"Eh, try again."

Several more times she tries the same throw, but each time she gets closer and closer.
On the fifth attempt, a very satisfying 'WHACK!' echoes through the training field.

"Nice throw."
"Ohhh." Louise eyes the weapon, "I guess I could get used to this."

>Now, try it with lightning.

You get an evil idea; seeing the pilum sticking straight out from the target dummy.

You wouldn't really be able to do this with bullets, because those are being shot out of a gun. Maybe..

"Hey Louise." You hand her another practice javalin, "Try puttin' a little bit of lightning into this one."
"Lightning?"
"Yeah, just try giving it a bit of a kick."

She blinks, and then takes the javelin into one hand.
Sparks of light start to arc across her hand, and her palm.

She breathes deeply, and focuses on the target.
with a throw, the javelin flies straight at it!

BOOM!

The javelin misses the dummy, but strikes against the backboard! A hole, almost a foot across in size, materializes on the wooden barrier with a bang!

Splinters shower the training ground, and smoke eminates from the backboard.

Louise and Kayda's jaws are agape in awe. Which is understandable, even her normal lightning isn't that destructive.

You smile, and do the one thing your father would do for you.
"Good girl." You pat her on the head.

You try the same thing with a few more thrown weapons. Stones; couldn't keep a charge, Axes; couldn't hit the target, Bolas; she tied herself up in them.

The one other thing that seems to work really well is something you did not suspect.
"Throwing knives." You take several from the rack and hand it to Louise. "Try that one."

Each tiny knife is like a miniturized explosion.
Though, something seems off about them. Every time Louise throws them, no matter what direction they're thrown, they always seem to move toward the dummy.

When she throws a knife completely clear of the target by mistake, and it spins in mid-air to seek out the dummy, you realize something must be wrong.

Approaching the target, you notice that almost all of the knives had embedded around a couple of key points.

"The nails." You yank one of the knives out. "The knife, uh, went toward the nail."

You turn to Louise. "Did you do that on purpose?"
"Did what?" Louise shuffles a few knives in her hand.

"Never mind."

Huh, something about putting lightning in these things made them seek out the nails holding the dummy to the stand.
You'll ask Aligot about that, later. Right now, you think it's time to-

>Get to work, try to find out what they know about Clair.
>Okay, Why aren't Yuuki or Jack awake yet? It's been at least an hour, now.

That was fun, and Louise learned something from it.

Ah, speaking of which, before you forget.

"Hey Louise." You hand her one of the throwing knives. "These seem to be movin' toward anything with metal in it."

"Moving toward anything with metal?"

"Yeah, sort of- like- homing. Like a homing pigeon. You ever see a letter sent by pigeon?"

Louise blinks, and Kayda seems to groan.
"No. What is that?"

"People have been trainin' pigeons for hundreds of years to send messages for them. If you leave out food for them, they'll always go back to that spot."
"Really?!"
"Yeah, they call them 'Homing Pigeons'."

"I want to see that someday!"

"Well, think of it this way."

Just as a test, you take your belt off and droop it over the target dummy.
Then, just to be real cautious, you back up a long way.

"Throw one of them knives over the dummy, watch the knife."

Louise blinks, but starts charging one of her knives.
Her wrist snaps forward, and it sails clear over the target dummy.
..Except, at the last minute, it almost stops in mid-air and embeds itself in your belt! Thankfully, this one didn't explode.

Louise and Kayda both blink. Followed by Kayda asking Louise how to do that.

"So yeah, be careful where you throw somethin' like that. It might home in below the belt, next time."
"R-right. Okay."

"Kayda, your turn."

"What?! Mine?"
"Yep. Get your rifle out."

She reaches into her ring, and pulls her rifle out in its entirety. Including the silly bayonete at the front.
"You just need to take that thing off if you're not usin' it."

"What thing? The knife?"

"Yeah."

"No, I like it there."

With that, she unleahses several shots straight at the target. Each one hits in almost exactly the same place as the last.
"Good shot."
"The rifle is the one thing I'm good at."

"Ever wanted to try anything else?"
"Like what?"

"I don't know, have you considered the arrow thing again?"
"I don't know how to use a bow."

"Well, just sayin'. You could use that to throw your fire."
"I'm good, thanks."

Well, you can't say you didn't try.

With that out of the way, you break up training and let the girls go take a break.
You want to take a 'break', too. At the bar, with Camille.

You take your hat off and disappear into the crowd of the castle, move silently, occasionally changing your coat around as to not attract suspicion.
If Amaretti has someone stalking you, they'll have a hell of a time finding you after that.

Eventually, you arrive at the bar, and even see Camille standing outside talking to one of the knights!

"Hey, Camille!"
"OH! Oh, oh." She jumps. The knight, Noel, turns to glare at you with a less-than-happy expression on her face.

"..What?"

"Nothing! Nothing!" Camille tries to cover up Noel's face. "Nothing is going on!"

"..Did my pants get ripped?" You check yourself over, and notice no such manly bits dangling about.
"No, no. Well- Yes! Maybe. I don't know." camille is standing right in front of Noel, now. "So, uh, Cody! What brings you here so early?"

"I wanted to take a break and grab a drink. Trainin' the youngins is working up a thirst."
"Uh- huh, Well! I'm glad you're here! It's good to see you're working with the kids! That's a good skill to have!"

"Yeah, I guess. So, Want to catch a few drinks?"

"Ahhhhhh well, well, well, well-"
"If you two are going to have some drinks-" Noel steps out from behind Camille, "Then I got to get back to my post. Let me know how things go, Camille, Cody."
"Y-yeah! Yeah! Sure!"

Noel saunters off toward the castle, and you turn to the entrance.
Camille follows meekly behind you.

--

"Okay, what's going on?"

"What do you mean?" Camille looks up, keeping a steady eye on you.

"You haven't drunk a thing. You just keep ordering water. What's up?"

"Nothing, I just don't feel like drinking right now."

That makes you almost spit your drink up.
"..Camille are you okay?"

"What?"

"You just said you didn't feel like drinking, are you sick?"

"No- well. A little. I'm a little sick."

"Why didn't you say somethin'?" You drink some more from your cup. "You didn't have to agree to drinking, if you didn't want. What do you have, a fever?"

"N-no, not, really, it's not that kind of sickness."

"Huh. Well, I won't ask about it."

Camille sighs, and seems to slump down in her chair.
But, at the last moment, she looks up toward you.

"Cody, I had a question."
"Mm?"
"How did last night with Amaretti go?"

This makes you eye her with suspicion. That's not something she would normally ask about. In fact, that's something she's taken great care as to not bring up in your time together.

"Uhhh." You blink at her question. It's oddly invasive, and is more akin to something that she would tell you not to even mention to her.
Naturally, this must be part of some larger chain of questions. You must tread carefully.

"How should it go?" Yes! Good one, Cody.

"Well, I was just wondering if you two had any.. success."

'Success'.
Oh, oh no Camille. Why would you even ask that?

"You wondering if I'm going to be tying the knot, soon?"

"No! No, not that." Camille takes a drink of water. "I just- I was just wondering if the thing between you and I is going end anytime soon."

Oh.
What a weird question.
How do you even respond to that one?

"Did I miss something?"
"What?" Camille blinks.

"It's just, has something happened that would make it end anytime soon? You know I have fun when I'm with you. I like Amaretti, but she's just too controlling. I don't think she understands it just yet."

"If she ever were to understand, would you leave me?"
"Of course not."

"For any reason?"
"Where is this going?"

Okay, now you're starting to get worried.
Camille, you're tons of fun, but you're not very subtle in anything that you do.

That's why you lost your airship the first time.

"Y'know what, just forget it." Camille smiles, and picks up her cup, "Let's go up to my room in a few minutes."
"Heh, it's only Noon, camille."
"Please?"

>Yeah, okay. Anything for you.
>Naw, as much as I'd like to. There are two kids at the castle who are probably tearing it apart right now.

"Uh."

You're not really sure how to respond. While all this is very suspect; you can't turn down a little bit of noon-time lovin'.

"It'll have to be quick, there are two kids at the castle who are probably tearing it apart right now."
"That's fine! It'll be real fast!"

Well, you're not sure you like the sound of that either.

"Great." You take the last drink from your cup. "Let's go."

She stands up and nods to the waitress, and the waitress carefully subtracts the total amount of your tab from the shrine's bill.
Camille should really tell Atsuko that she's doing that.

You follow her hot tail up the hidden stairs and to her vista. Usually, she prefers to jump from street-level straight to her roof. You can unerstand how she probably isn't in the mood for that if she's sick, and all. Speaking of which.

"Hey, You really think it's a good idea when you're sick and all? I don't want to make it worse."
Or catch it, for that matter.

"No, no, it's fine. I certainly hope it wouldn't make it worse."

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"Nothing. I just don't think this is the kind of illness I can give you."

Not the kind of illness she can give me.
This makes your head scurry. What kind of illness would that be?
Bad food?
Bad drink?

If she's gonna puke, you'd rather not have it happen in bed.
You're not into that.

Camille steps inside of her hideout, and shuts the door behind you.

She walks up to you, and you lean in for a kiss.
While your lips do meet, she backs from the kiss within an instant.

You, confused, follow her over to the couch. Both of you sit opposite one another.

"Hon, what's all this?"

"Cody, I didn't bring you up here for sex."

"You didn't?"

"No, I have something to tell you.. Cody:"

She sighs, looking at her palms, and then looking up at you.

"I'm pregnant."

Oh she's-
She's pregnant.

preg·nant
'pregn?nt/
adjective
adjective: pregnant

1.
(of a woman or female animal) having a child or young developing in the uterus.

Well, that first one is no good.

Oh! How about this one?

2.
full of meaning; significant or suggestive.

Yes! That has to be the one! She is being significant, and suggestive.
Right, glad we got that all cleared up.

So-

"Well, I'm not against the suggestion, but it's not like I could even if I wanted to. Shall we?"

"No, Cody. That was a statement. I'm Pregnant, with your baby."

Okay, back to the drawing board.

So, she claims she's pregnant, but pregnancy is basically nonexistent outside of the mating season. The mating season isn't for quite some time; that you know of.

She must be coming onto you in a way that you had not considered yet! Sly girl!

Okay. So, how does this break down?
Camille says she is pregnant, and that it's yours.
Well, it's clear that this is a goal of hers. It would be a way for her to get your hand before Amaretti. Again, Camille is sometimes way too smart for your own good.

Okay, so, that's a goal in her mind, but what does this mean for Amaretti if that does happen?

"Cody?"

Well, Amaretti IS your summoner, and she would get final say on who you marry. Yet, what if someone else had a surrogate in her place? Oh, she would probably not like that.

"Cody!?"

That said, Amaretti isn't exactly violent. She would accept that is just what happens, eventually. It's just, in the meantime, you might be sleeping without getting any juice from your summoner for a while. Ah, not a bad thing. You were running away, right?

"CODY!"

Oh, who are you kidding. Amaretti would flip her top.

"CODY LOOK UP!"

You blink, and your eyes match onto Camille's upset stare.

"Aren't you going to say something? I'm pregnant, it's your child, what are we going to do?!"

>SHHH! NOT TOO LOUD!

"You're."

Okay, this is taking some thought.

"Pregnant."

"That's right, Cody."

You're still not getting it.

"Pregnant."

"Yes."

...
"YOU'RE PREGNANT?!"
Camille just stares at you with those unamused eyes.

Why aren't you getting it?! It seems like such a simple concept.
Has it not dawned on you yet?
Are you even awake?
Did you fall asleep at the bar?

No! That's it! You fell asleep at the bar! You're just dreaming right now. You took to many hits of whiskey, and you're in a half-dazed slumber.

So, here's what you're going to do.

You're going to close your eyes for a few seconds, and then you're going to open them. When you open your eyes again; you're going to be back in the bar with Camille standing over you.
It will be like nothing ever happened!

Okay, ready?
Let's do this.

..
...
....

"Cody?"

Ah! Yes! There it is!

.....
"Cody!"

"Wu- wuh?"

You open your eyes, and are met with your worst nightmare.
Nothing has changed.

"HOW?!"
"Shh!" Camille yelps, "Not so loud!"

"But-"

Okay, you can be a reasonable person when you want to be.
This is not one of those times.

"..I don't know what to do."
"I don't either, Cody."

You both sit in silence for some time. Maybe an hour, maybe a minute, maybe even a few seconds. It's hard to tell how quickly time is passing with the quiet shroud hanging over the conversation.

"..Cody?"
"Yes?"
"Are you happy about it?"

You try to think of the right words, "-I'm not really sure how to say it."
"So, what are you going to do?"

That's when something catches your eye, on the table.
It's a bottle of the hard stuff. The stuff too hard for you to ever normally drink.

"Camille.. have you been drinking this?"

"No, no. Jack brought it over the other day."

"I see."

You pick it up, and break the wax seal.
Normally, you wouldn't ever drink this stuff. Now is not a normal time.

You pitch it back, and feel the liquor go down your neck.

"Cody? Aren't you going to give me an answer?"

"I'll get back to that right after I'm done with what I'm doing here."
You stand up, and take about two steps toward the stairwell.

Within an instant, the ground seems oddly close to your nose. It makes things feel so comfy, that you can't help but just close your eyes for just a moment.

Just a moment.

Hey, sorry for the delay on that last post. I thought it was posted, and I went back to check and found out it wasn't

Anyway, thanks for the thread everyone.

I hope to have another on Tuesday. My pass is going to expire this month, and I'm not sure I'll be renewing it. So I'd like to get a couple more done while posting is nice and easy.

Anyway, let me know what you thought of this week's thread. Take care everyone.
