The day has arrived.

You and your friends stand at the bottom of a mountain, staring upward toward the top, where the Northern Air Temple sits high above the world, home to a peaceful society of powerful benders.

Up there, you should find shelter from the constant fighting that has consumed your lives for the past several weeks. And, hopefully, you will find an Airbending teacher for Lantana.

The only problem is getting there.

Doyu offered to take everyone up on his Flying Bison, but doing that would require leaving Pengsong behind, and Lantana was not having any of that. That means that your group needs to find a way up the nearly unclimable mountain.

"Sei, what do you say you and me get a little workout?" Lantana asks, a determined look on her face.

Sansha nods with approval. "That does sound like the quickest way to the top. Besides, it'll make good training."

"Fine," Mauya says. "But, if we fall, I'm killing all three of you."

Lantana laughs. "Deal. So, Sei, want to give it a shot?"

Mauya smirks. "I can heal, remember? I'd fix you up just so I could kill you myself."

"On that note, let's get going," Lantana cuts in, stepping forward. "Sei, are you ready?"

You nod, moving up to stand beside her. The two of you turn to face one another, and move in as close to unison as you can, combining your strength to pull out a large platform of rock.

"Everybody, on," Lantana tells the others.

Doyu hops onto Gava, directing the bison onto the rock. Pengsong, on the other hand, seems somewhat reluctant. Lantana approaches him, petting his head and whispering encouragements to him, eventually convincing him to step onto the rock.

Once everyone else is onboard, the two of you join them.

"Alright," Lantana says. "Let's do this."

The two of you begin to move, reaching up and making pulling motions. A rumbling fills your ears, and the platform begins to move upward toward the mountain top.

Pengsong and Gava growl with discomfort and nervousness, and Doyu does his best to keep them calm. Mauya looks around nervously, wisely keeping herself from looking down. Sansha, meanwhile, seems to have gone stiff.

Despite feeling some concern for the others, you realize that not falling off the mountain is really your priority right now. You keep focused, working with Lantana to slowly but surely make the climb toward the top.

After a few minutes, Gava and Pengsong seem to have calmed down for the most part, and Mauya looks a bit more relaxed. On the other hand, Sansha is still completely stiff.

Finally, after what feels like forever, the platform reaches the top of the mountain, and you find yourself staring at the Northern Air Temple.

It's unlike anything you have ever seen. Massive in size, it doesn't look all that imposing. In fact, it's quite beautiful, seeming to blend in with the environment at the top of the mountain. Huge towers stretch into the air beside trees, birds fly around and above it, and it appears that a stream even passes through it.

Doyu, grinning ear to ear, steps off the platform.

"Welcome to the Northern Air Temple," he tells you all.

Now, at the top, you and Lantana start helping everyone off the platform. Gava and Pengsong march off at once, with Mauya right behind them, but Sansha seems afraid to move.

"Are you alright?" you ask her, walking over and placing a hand on her back to guide her off the platform.

"I-I'm" she begins, her eyes shifting downward.

She then goes silent, not moving another muscle.

"Afraid of heights?" Lantana asks, coming to Sansha's other side and helping you guide her off of the platform.

"W-when we're this high up, yes," she answers.

Once everyone is safely off the platform, you and Lantana push the rock back where it belongs, each of you then taking a moment to catch your breath. Mauya presents each of you with canteens, and you both begin to drink.

"That was amazing," Doyu compliments, eyes moving between you and Lantana. "I've never seen Earthbending like that before!"

"Gotta admit, you both did well," Mauya agrees. "That was a much shorter trip than I was expecting."

The two of you are drenched in sweat, with your hair sticking to your faces, and your clothes hugging your bodies extra tight.

"We finally made it," Lantana says happily, looking toward the temple.

She begins to stare at the temple again. "It's amazing, isn't it? We're actually at one of the Air Temples. Hardly anybody actually gets to see these."

It is a beautiful sight, and not only that, but your visit should result in Lantana mastering another element. It's been a rough road getting here, but you're here now, and you know your friend can do this.

"I wonder what it's like in there," she goes on. "Full of boys, I guess, but Doyu's the only Airbender I've met that hasn't tried to kill me. Hopefully the others will be as friendly."

Giving you a warm smile, Lantana steps back. "Come on, let's go to the temple."

The two of you walk side by side, Pengsong following close behind as you approach the entrance to the temple. There's no sort of guards on the outside, just an archway that the two of you step beneath, finding yourselves in a large courtyard.

Airbenders of ages are spread around the area, with groups of young children seemingly being instructed in various areas. You see strange, monkey-like creatures with ringed tails gliding through the air, and even a few Sky bison flying overhead.

"Wow...." Lantana gasps with wonder.
