You have decided to train on your control until the Slasher finished whatever it is she needed to accomplish before showing up. Before that you had gotten in a fight with a brood base, threw a mutant party, and trained a lot. Much progress was made as you discovered the a super training facility among other structures have been built. The wasteland you have kept avoiding and you have yet to return to the city. Ever since you vanished into the wasteland months ago after encountering a particularly scary abomination and had some strange things done to you.

After a short while the Smiling Slasher appeared. In full kit and smelling like she just showered who then brought out her blade.

"So what kind of training your interested in hm Detonator?"

You learn a lot about a person when you fight them, or so I've been told. So I'm thinking we learn about them and test each other. Once we have respect for each other and knowledge on abilities. We can later move to work as a team.

Guess it must be a slow day. Ah it picks up anyway on the weekend.

You decide to go up against her in a full on fight. So you were taken to what turned out to be a literal arena in the training facility. You had to wait a little while as a team match between minions finished up as the airwaves crackled with news.

"SPECIAL EVENT ALERT. Today after the match between mutants and machines we will be having a VERY special battle! Between the long missing and old Member the DETONATOR VS the SMILING SLASHER! Please go ahead and place your bets! The betting pools are now open."

The fight as you watched turned out to be surprisingly equal and lasted much longer then you would of thought. As the mutants and Machines were quite closely matched. You noted with interest that the combat bots being deployed were clearly inhuman appearances. They were legit combat robots and androids. After looking more closely you noticed there used to be some android combatants but they have fallen given their remains scattered about.

The mutants for their part unlike the machines had quite varying looks. You could see that they were broken up into two teams one melee team who were getting in close and preventing the bots from closing in on their other team. Their other team meanwhile offered support and ranged firepower. The machines for tactics appeared to be under a single will given the eerie awareness and being a single team. More like a group under a single will.

Or at least it looked that way. Clearly they either had a center node controller or enhanced comms allowing them to appear that way. You couldn't tell which however.

As you watched you also noticed minions were soon pouring into the stands. Apparently they wanted to watch the fight between the two of you. Finally after awhile the tide finally turned. This time in the machines took the lead. As the mutants started to make mistakes as they got nervous. Their enemy however did not let it slide.

As they rapidly closed in the mutants and some of them blitzed passed the first team charging at the second rear team. The first team of mutants apparently realized their error unfortunately they were temporarily tied down by the sacrificial pieces sent out by the machines and their forces hanging back were now no longer holding back their firepower. As they unleashed a storm of bullets and missiles. Mostly at the second team of mutants to force their heads down but they increasingly diverted more of it towards the first team of mutants as they tore down the pawns. So as to further delay them.

It worked.

Once the fast moving team of robots hit the second team's lines it was quickly became clear that it was over. As they swiftly overwhelmed them and then focused back on the first team of mutants.

The first team of mutants were now surrounded and caught between a vicious crossfire. It wasn't too long before they were brought down.

The bots won but clearly not without some serious casualties.

Slow indeed.

We must get more mutants and go on a training run through waste with the ones that will follow us, again. Get them stronger and have a rematch.

So now our fight. Depending on how this match works. I think we will have to start out with a bang. I believe these slasher clan people will not hold back. So we start strong and then move into Abom mode when we have seen some moves.
>>

After that the lights in the arena went dark as you could hear some whirring sounds from within. While that was happening you got a message directing you to the entrance. There you waited for a time before the door opened.

Revealing a freshly cleaned and changed arena. Across from it you could also see a door opening and the smiling slasher on the other side who had since drawn her blade as she swayed with a strange movement that seemed to make your eyes itch.

"What I knew you never saw the Detonator before personally much less in action."

"So what dude is dumb enough to pick a fight that crazy skilled bitch."

"Why do you think I invited you morons all here?"

"Say boss is the guy who can do the tentacle thing right?"

"goddamn did you REALLY go there?"

"Why yes yes i did."

"Exactly. How well do you think the Slasher can handle him when he unleashes his 'true form'. Eh?"

"...So what you don't think he can't handle her without doing that?"

"Not a chance. Of all the super villains i recruited she was the hardest because she was the most senior."

"So how did you convince her to join?"

"Short story really. I had something she wanted very much. Also we had a common enemy which helped quite a lot."

"Slasher has a lot of fucking enemies."

"Well cutting people into pieces can do that."

"Whats scariest thing is though is the fact how they are still alive afterwards."

"Ah yes the Slasher's special Skill the Butchers Cut. I personally wanna see if she uses the Stab."

"...Stab?"

"Right you never seen her get that serious before."

"...I never heard the slasher ever stabbing anybody. She likes cutting them into little pieces. Little living squirming pieces."

You decide to unleash abomination form right away deciding it would be best to go all out. This was something she was clearly not expecting as she suddenly hesitated and moved away waiting to see what you were doing. When she saw the result she quickly attempted to move in and interrupt. Fortunately for you managed to transform fast enough that when she finally got close you were able to counterattack. As a mixture of claw, tendril, fang, and...other more unspeakable things lashed out towards her. Including what you hoped to be stomach acid.

Amazingly enough your attacks swiftly overwhelmed her and as you attempted to take the advantage you suddenly felt a sharp pain on your back. When an eye re positioned itself to look over behind you saw...another her.

And the old her suddenly vanished and warped back into her. She was clearly smiling you could tell because her lower mask didn't cover her chin or mouth. That was when you struck back at her.

She in turn parried and suddenly you felt TWO new wounds forming on you. One again on your back perfectly placed inside the previous wounding making it deeper and another at the side.

this time you SAW what happened.

A strange force came out of her main body and warped itself into a new position before forming into another her who than strike you. Thing is though the two are very hard to tell apart as they were both properly materialized.

However your eyes are not the eyes of a man in this form. You soon figured out what that energy was.

A soul.

Her...soul to be precise used to form a clone and they are tethered together. After acquiring a few more deepening wounds you soon realized she was capable of warping into either position and...when her saw is copy is destroyed it would always return to the main body. However the if her main body was wounded before she could warp then the wounds stuck.

This was however much easier said then done.

Another thing that quickly improved infuriating to you was her ability to just 'barely' dodge while using little movements as if it were stilled dance. Her parries meanwhile despite not having much power behind them were able to block or deflect your attacks. What sucked the most was her attacks. You could clearly feel the lack of power behind them but fucking hell did they hurt.

Especially with her habit to keep striking the same wounded spots slowing their recovery and dealing extra damage.

Explosions and the shock waves will buy time. Plus any dust covering our moves. It may not be much, but it's better than nothing. Because taking good free hits will only weaken us for the rest of the fight, unless transforming refresh us. Hell even blowing up the floor and doing some parkour around the damage area while transforming could be good.

Yet it looks like we got lucky and she wasn't expecting it. I'm just worried about someone taking us out before we are ready. It wouldn't be good for us.

"Then how would you fight her boss?"

"Honestly I would prefer not to. At least with tech you know what your dealing with and have strategies for what is in play. Those martials and magics...you never know what kinda ancient secrets they be hiding. If it were so easy then the great revolutions would not have been nearly so deadly. Its fortunate we were able to win by having more bodies to throw into the grinder. Truth be told that is what it would come down to."

"Wait you don't mea-"

"Yeah I would drown her in bodies and if it was say a necromancer I would make sure said bodies were explosive."

"...That is cold boss."

"Trust me when you fight someone like them bodies matter. The more guys you can throw at them. The more you can force out into open and exhaust them."

"Too bad that doesn't work for shit against the Brood."

With her skill, she just would've zigzagged between the explosions and turned the dust to her own advantage.

>>
Rolled 75 (1d100)

Abomination transformation does heal you to a degree but only during the transformation sequence. Your passive regeneration is weaker.

Dam. If no abom senses maybe we can work on explosion armor. It goes off when ever we take a heavy hit or damage we should worry about. Allow us to take some sneak attacks.

We would have to work on non aware explosions. Maybe work of off an explosive bubble that 'pops' under enough pressure.

Granted there is just stay transformed till we need to be human. Yet I feel we would lose our since of self and take abom as our main body.

There's no such thing as being too prepared, but at some point making preparations will get in the way of living your life. You can move into the most secure bunker possible and never leave, or you can accept that it's impossible to plan for literally every contingency.

Sure someone could try to assassinate us, and it would be less difficult for them if we weren't in abomination mode, but that doesn't mean we're just standing around with a big target painted on ourselves.

We live in a secret base, and even heroes without super toughness don't normally die like chumps.

That said I do think there are advantages to spending a lot of time in abomination mode, but we don't have to do it any time we don't need to look human.

Chain explosion between her main self and her clone body, while tossing limb and claw attacks at both. >>
Rolled 49 (1d100)

>>766450
That is generally correct. There really isn't much in terms of cover unless you manage to damage the arena enough to form it.

>>763605
You decide to launch a chain explosion while throwing in all kinds of attacks to slow her down enabling you to strike her with the chain from all sides.

Sadly this did not prove as effective as you would of hoped. While she dodged and parried your attacks. When you launched the explosion chain she was...gone. A clone as it turned out.

Naturally this time you knew what to expect as you suddenly through yourself to the side. This time you were injured but you managed to dodge enough out of the way to ensure she wasn't able to hit the same spots as before. Still you got yourself a new wound as the Slasher just kept on smiling before speaking.

"Ah I see your finally wising up! Seems like i may have to change things up soon."

Meanwhile in the VIP room.

"So boss what do you think the Slasher will do next?"

"They are both growing familiar with each other. Soon they will start using the big guns on each other. That is when things are going to get the most interesting!"

"You think the slasher is still holding back?"

"She only used two skills so far. Her movement technique and her Soul Clone skill. She hasn't even gotten to using Butcher's Cut or anything else for that matter."

This time around you decide to stay defensive as you strongly suspect she was going to unleash a serious attack. Good thing too as that is exactly what happened.

As she kept poking holes into your defenses and created more wounds. She was clearly planning something and you just barely managed to unleash the KABOOM right before she could use her trick.

Suddenly the entire arena was obscured as dust and metal flew around everywhere. You were centered in a crater. Just as you released a sigh full of relief was when you heard a strange boom and piercing howl of the wind.

Suddenly the arena was once more kicked up into a dust storm as you suddenly felt a huge flurry of blades tear into your flesh. An unending rain of blade strikes. Slicing your hide into ribbons as they attempted to turn you into still twitching giblets. As you tried to move you found that you could not get out of their reach...and you had no idea where they were coming from.

Somehow the blades interacted with the dust and metal to obscure even your sight. Tearing and biting they tore into you seemingly without end. Eventually however it DID end.

...Mostly because all the rubble was cut into a fine dust and said dust was firmly slammed into the ends of the arena. The Arena itself had completely changed.

Now there was a large crater and it had been cut into ribbons. There were such deep gauges throughout the arena it actually looked more torn up then even your own hide. After looking around you soon noticed a pouting Smiling Slasher.

"Shoot...I thought that really would of finished you off. Goddamn it your a real tough one aren't you? That should of been enough to incapacitate a normal abomination...looks like I am really going to have to get serious," states the Slasher as she starts a strange movement.

WARNING
Super Skill Usage Detected!

...FUCK she STILL wasn't serious before?

"TIME TO FINISH THIS AND TURN YOU INTO SOME FRESH GIBLETS. Don't worry you wont die...probably. Doc is going to have some fun stitching you back together though!"

With that you could see suddenly without warning the Smiling Slasher was right in front of you with a wicked smile as she swung her saber at you.

"GOTCHA."

Meanwhile in the VIP section.

"Damn he actually managed to get the slasher to be serious...you were right after all boss."

"Well he did just eat her storm strike. She doesn't have much choice but to now. Things should finally be getting interesting..."

"It wasn't interesting before?"

"The two of them weren't serious before. Now Detonator has gotta get serious or he is going to lose."

"Oh you make it sound like he could win boss."

"The Detonator is very good at playing the fool. He is not to be underestimated."

Fuck it. I'm tired of this.

>Counterattack
Whatever the fuck it is, it has to hit us in order to do anything. Time for some EXPLOSION BOOSTED parkour across the arena. Our goal is to avoid her strikes and to fuck up the arena terrain to cut off her ability to move around easily, BUT we don't want to stop her from TRYING to use her super skill. SO we need to sprint/parkour around nearby her while dodging her strikes, utilizing our passive ability to hopefully throw her off AND to damage the landscape while we go about it.

At the point that we see an opening, or when her skill seems just about to go off (make sure we grow a few extra eyes so we can tell when it's about to go off) use [KABOOM] to either throw her off and hurt her, or jump up into the top of the fucking arena where she probably won't think to strike at.

What we really need...are just better rolls.

Anyway, I also think we should seriously consider surrender. We could pull it off gracefully, with a little writefaggotry.

We put our hands up.

"I don't think that will be necessary. I surrender.

When you touched down, I asked if you might want to train together on some combo moves. You were rather coy about that, and I figured you'd be rather coy in any training we did together too.

But I figured that, despite my great inexperience, and your tested, veterancy and exquisite skill, if I fought you I'd be able to get you to be serious.

And I did.

In doing so and fighting you I've established a firm base of knowledge from which I believe I can grow to work alongside you much more effectively, and that was my only real goal all along.

You are clearly the victor today, Miss Slasher, and it has been quite the delight to fight you so there is no shame in admitting it. However I now find myself clearly outmatched, without any trick to pull that I could rely on to deflect or defeat you, and I do not relish the thought of being turned into fresh giblets.

Your skill, Miss Slasher, is enviable, and I am honored to be a member in the same organization as one of such a calibre as yourself. Perhaps one day when I have gained more experience we can have a rematch, but for now I think that I have learned a good deal of how you operate, and I must also thank you for the opportunity to have trained under the tip of your blade.

Again, thank you for allowing me the exquisite experience of witnessing your skills firsthand. Perhaps in the future we might be able to train together in a more cooperative fashion, and if so I look forward to the opportunity to learn from one as accomplished as yourself."

You decide to create a field of sustained explosives. You know its going to really drain you but you don't got much choice. She really is quite good.

So you exploded and chained those explosions together to create a field to cover the entire arena. You than proceeded to keep it up for 10 seconds as you pushed some tendrils down into the ground preparing to restrain her and any clones.

You also focused your explosions on her weapon attempting to explode them or disarm her.

Unfortunately the explosions everywhere obscured her location so you had to wait until the end to pull of the exploding weapons and grabbing her.

As soon as the explosions ended you took action once you spotted her. Your tendrils pushed up through the ground attacking her from below and you used them to focus explosions on her weapons. You even made sure to grab both her and her clone.

...That was when however you noticed two things. 1 the exploding weapons pissed her off. 2 those two were actually clones.

One exploded into soul energy...while the other revealed itself to be a shadow.

Alas by the time it was already too late as you could feel a blade sink itself deep into your flesh. In fact it felt like you were being cut into two.

1d100 to recover.

"Gotcha you goddamn dick. Trying to destroy my saber? ITS ON NOW," you could hear her hiss those words as the blade kept on cutting its way through you.

You never once felt a blow this powerful before. You imagined this must be what it feels like if your KABOOM actually hurt and was focused into a single line.

Oouch.

Then you had a double take moment you realized that for some reason...your view began to fall in two seperate directions. Only when you hit the floor did you look around and realize what happened.

She literally just cut you half.

...like completely and in perfect symmetrical halves.

What was stranger still was your ability to feel as if you were somehow still whole yet..disconnected. It was an extremely disturbing feeling even more so then realizing you weren't dead.

What do?

Meanwhile at the VIP section...

"Holy shit...I think she won boss. How the hell did she avoid all those explosions...and where the hell did that extra clone come from."

"Hm...looks like she finally unleashed the Butcher's Cut."

"Aww...and here I was looking forward to that stabbing of hers."

"She never got truly serious," explains the boss.

"...She only ever uses the butcher's cut when she is serious no?"

"No she doesn't. You noticed she still has that sword not drawn? She only draws it when she gets truly serious."

"...Really?"

"Yes. Otherwise she only uses that saber of hers. Admittedly another way to make her draw that sword is to piss her off enough."

Once we recover I suggest the following.

Using the holes now left by our tentacles that went underground blast into them creating pillars of flame which limit her movments and best of all as it was centers around us when we put them in creates a protective cage of fire and boom! Now she's gotta dodge those pillars of fire and death while dodging us trying to blow her and her footing away. It also limits where she can warp to with those clones. She has infact made this easier for us.

So you took a metaphorical breath as you focused yourself and proceeded to channel. You were filled with two strange tingling and snapping sensations. As your two halves proceeded to break, snap, shatter, and melt into two smaller yous.

The Smiling Slasher was so shocked her mouth was hanging open.

...She wasn't the only one as a strange silence filled the stadium as your two blobs shifted themselves into two new yous. Even the broadcaster was silent.

"Yo...you...I am actually going to have to get serious," grudgingly acknowledges the smiling slasher as she puts away her saber and then draws her sword.

Your wounds have mostly recovered and you have control of two bodies.

Clone 1 is put on interference duty.

While Clone 2 is put on make it rain duty.

Which brings up a good question...which is a clone and which is your real body? I mean your body was split in half right so...are they clones really? If they are one clones which is your actual body and which isn't?

Clone 1 soon turns itself into a mound of wriggling tendrils that keep burrowing underground until it popped itself underneath. Tendrils soon started to pop out of the walls and floor to harass her as much as possible while causing detonations to further throw her off.

While that was happening Clone 2 proceeded to make it rain and launch pieces of the stadium at her. Soon she found herself facing two of you. Eventually she sighed as suddenly there were now three of her.

One of each was in front of each body and launched attacks. Fortunately her clones cannot take a beating worth a damn unlike yours but it still proved quite a nuisance.

Especially once the third one of her proceeds to start wildly waving her sword in the air. At first it seemed futile...until you noticed the wind warping and heard BOOMS as explosions and deep grooves started blasting towards both of your clones.

As if that were a signal her clones went into action as both launched a stab at both your clones. In response your two bodies launched an attack at her chest. Leaving a notable dent before they blasted apart, but not before puncturing a see through hole in your body.

The holes while painfully couldn't compete with the agony that was being literally cut in half.

"How can you tell?"

"If it doesn't work then she will surrender once she is exhausted and still hasn't won yet."

"What about him?"

"He has a much greater energy bank then she does but unlike her he has been tapping it heavily."

"You think he is going to run out first then?"

"Unlikely. His reserves are actually quite huge. Its why he can blast so many huge explosions in a row. Truth be told his energy reserves would be quite noticeable if it wasn't for the power of the explosions he unleashes that cause them to stuck to the shadows."

"...So how good is his energy reserves?

"S Class as a minimum."

"Fucking hell."

"Its a shame is energy banks and power is the only thing he has going for him with his initial powers."

"What about the abominable ones?"

"...Honestly Abominations give me a headache trying to figure out what they can do and what their potential is. Not to mention they make even mutants look easy."

>Body 2
Once we confirm she in in our trapped corridor
Turn it into a fireball with endless detonations again. She will try to destroy this body with something so shift a large amount of our biomass into the ground so when she does strike, despite it looking like our primary form she'll just strike a "limb" as it were...

Body 1 commences to tendril and the area is saturated.

After that body 2 confirms her trapped proceeds to unleash detonations again. She proceeded to charge down the tunnel when suddenly you could feel the pain as she closed in successfully. That is when you felt the pain...but then you realized you had a problem.

The pain was coming from the wrong body.

The body you THOUGHT was her...was nothing but a clone.

Even worse you felt three stabbing pains and then you felt that familiar slicing sensation...when your other body looked over you could see your body stabbed by three different swords in hands of all three of her...and then your body fell apart like it was finely sliced salami into fa single loose mound that she than proceeded to scatter as she laughed.

...however you noted that within that laughter was some rather heavy panting.

When you looked at the mound you noticed the only thing that was 'standing' was actually being held up by your sword...and they were your other body's heart, brain, and some other organs that were finally sliced as well as stabbed.

Oh that is going to be a pain to regenerate also it hurts like you would not fucking BELIEVE. Goddamn your still whole body is trembling from the pain as the three hers proceed to charge at your remaining body.

That mass that is sliced into pieces, mingle with the tendrils litters around and now begin to merge with the remaining body from below, keep our important organs displaced so she can't target it so easy. Finally as they do merge bring rubble with them towards our center

Now as this is happening our remaining body uproots all the rubble it can and cause the biggest

>KABOOM

we can manage, the remaininmass of us around should also detonate on all the clones at the same time as well as the surrounding area. The rubble will act like shrapnel and worse still the overlapping explosions and over pressure will do even more.

Unfortunately she made sure to scatter your body parts around so as to delay recovery. Still you attempt to do so.

There she came charging at you and you start to toss as much rubble around as you can before unleashing the KABOOM.

That was when you detonated everything you could and when she got close so as to prevent her from dodging.

Alas not before she managed to put a few more holes in you but you did successfully interrupt her. Mostly because you had only 2 holes instead of the three but they really fucking hurt. Your entire organs was trembling as they also got hit by a series of blows that you partially blocked with the KABOOM.

Rubble, dust, and explosions covered the entire arena before a strange silence fell over the battlefield.

Meanwhile in the VIP Section...

"Please tell me you got to her in time..."

"Ah what gives boss. She'll be fine."

"If it was before she would of been problem is she was too exhausted. She could of easily have died...Why haven't I gotten a response yet?"

"She lost."

"Oh..."

"Don't worry boss it was real close Detonator very nearly lost his other clone. As is its severely wounded."

"Damn I never thought she would of been good enough to handle two abominations..."

"Seriously how the hell is she so good..."

"What's her condition like Maple?"

"Argh...ah she is pretty banged up. Ordinary body if a rather fit body. She would of been a goner if I didn't drop the shield. As is she is tad bit angry because it meant she forfeited."

"If we hadn't she would of been dead."

"That is why she ain't super angry boss. You really need to get her to consider improvements. Her skill can only go so fa-"

"That is up to her to decide."

It was a slow and very painful process having all your giblets scraped off the walls and floors. While the rest sorta had to be sponged and mopped up before getting deposited into a single twitching pile. After that came the ludicrously painful process of becoming a single whole before getting carted off to the doc because of the overwhelming amount of damage your questionably whole body sustained.

At the doc's place the doc refused to believe you were the 'winner' due to how bad of a condition you were left in. Doc also wasn't sure how the hell you were still alive given as the doc put it 'even a mutant would be dead several times over with such injuries.' After that the Doc make it abundantly clear that you were to enjoy lotta bed rest and that you should under no circumstances turn back human until you have recovered. Apparently doing so while your so heavily injured would probably kill you.

The Smiling Slasher meanwhile upon seeing your poor condition at the doc's place smiled, guffawed, and laughed her ass off as she left with barely any bandages on.

Leaving a deflated but still victorious you and a unhappy doc trying to figure out abomination physiology while wondering if there were any drugs that could effect said physiology.

I'm not so much concerned about the pain, seeing as pain builds character. Drugs to help aid the recovery process or possibly imbue effects into our abomination form on account of us being injured and re-forming with them in us would be nice though.

If the Doc doesn't have anything like that, then dump ourself(s) into the abomination mutant pool and try to reform there.

ESPECIALLY if we do the latter though, ask the Doc if he's got any poisons, diseases or things along that line that we could take with us to try to incorporate back into us. And the more we can have the better for greater options.

We really need to go talk to her soon, compliment her and thank her (non-smugly) for the training. We, in fact, did not even know we could pull off that clone shit before the fight with her.

Then we'll need to ask her if we can work on combo moves without trying to kill each other, seeing as she certainly won our respect and hopefully we won hers.

Also hot damn we just took down an experienced super villain. The toughest one of the group, in fact. To be fair the fight was nowhere near even but that's still cool as shit.

It would be just like Genie to have the Slasher leave this shit, and then just have the angel abom invade our dreams because she can sense it and is jelly. Then we go speeding off into the wasteland to shoot ourselves in the foot.

The Slasher IS a Clanner and we did beat her. Those chicks are all about strength and a rookie green-as-fuck mofo just beat her. Might've been her who left it.

"...Again? Why do I have a bad feeling about this time? If you vanish as long as last time we will consider you dead for reals."

After that you brought up the feeds relating to you at the pool for a swim. At first it showed nothing until...some movement appeared in the pool followed by its boiling and then you disappearing beneath it for a time.

After that the surface calmed...and became like a mirror. However after a time it suddenly started to boil again once more rapidly as a patrolling group of mutants showed up. When they noticed some of them leaped into the pool and dragged your body out. That while still abominable while was no healed. You barely made out some movement from beneath as you were pulled out and the pool calmed once more.

You noticed one of the mutants left while a few went back on patrol. After a short time you see a new mutant who appeared to be wearing rather soiled lab coat and carrying a case full of strange instruments as you were examined. After a short time some words were spoken and they all left after the doc gave you something. Shortly after you changed back into your human form.

Sometime later two figures appeared who were clearly not mutants. One of whom you recognized as the Smiling Slasher who was clearly swaggering over. But not before making sure to give your naked form a good hard look. The other guy at least had the decency of giving you a blanket but not before the slasher stopping him for a time so as to enjoy a longer view.

Once the blanket was dropped on top of you the slasher also set down a letter on top of it before leaving. Once they left after awhile the pool started to tremble a bit. As if something was dropped inside causing it to ripple. Problem was nothing was. Soon it seemed like something was pulling the blanket into the pool but you couldn't tell what. Strangest thing was the rippling had stopped and when it was pulled inside. The image was utterly clear...without so much as a ripple.

Once the entire blanket had been pulled inside. Your naked form was once more revealed. Suddenly something was spat out of the pool that landed near you perfectly with a letter hanging from it and it being a strange flower.

After awhile another mutant patrol stopped by and dropped off some clothes for you. Before getting back to work.

Awhile after that you once more awoke.

We asked for scary girls...we are getting them. Yandere off!
>>
Rolled 55 (1d100)

>>773936
Actually its a side effect of being a super villain.

Scary chicks out the fucking ass.

Now for the asking of the scary chicks that is for a political game in which case you really are asking for it then. Especially if you start poking around the evil side.

Scary chicks are also a side effect of being a super hero but that is more in the case of scary ass tracker female villains and general risk you take. Admittedly most super heroes don't realize that is in fact a risk unlike the super villains.

Female Supers are notorious for getting the hots for 'good boy' heroes and 'bad boy' fellow villains. Just watch out for the villain variety as they are quite liable to playing dirty.
>>
Rolled 95 (1d100)

>>773884
Haha they took the letter.

>Didn't the Brood modified the pool? Maybe they are behind this...
I wish to know more.
>>
Rolled 67 (1d100)

>>774019
At least when you are a hero your not blatantly interacting with female villains on relatively good terms. Problem is they are QUITE liable to getting the hots for a good guy hero. Admittedly its also true for male super villains because they scratch that boy boy itch. Thing is though super villains don't have that grass is greener on the other side not to mention they are more used to them then compared to the refreshing good guy.

Amusingly enough both male super heroes and villains both agree that super women are a gigantic pain in the ass to deal with. Its not often you get super heroes and villains to actually agree on something.

As super villain expect to run into a lotta super villainesses. Fortunately for you they will be of the less yandere variety then compared to being a super hero would have to deal with.

Unfortunately for you will end up dealing with super villainesses a LOT. Basically its a trade off between rare but high powered interactions or lots but lower powered.

Its why the Slasher isn't that intense with you besides being a bit coy and such. Now if you were a super hero and dealing with said Slasher you would of been in some deep fucking shit. Like I am talking psycho slasher serial killer yandere on crack on the odd occasion when you get stuck dealing with her.

As a fellow super villain she is much more chill with you, BUT you have to eat a lot more interactions.
>>
Rolled 22 (1d100)

>>774080
Yes the Genie went through a great deal of pain figuring out the interactions.

Obviously a super heroine is much easier to deal with then a super villainess who is prone to...well evil. However as some super villains attest dealing with a super heroine who has the hots for you is a huge pain the ass. To such a degree they would state that said super heroines are worse to deal with then their very own super villainesses.

They are however generally smart enough to not say it when said super villainesses are present as they would take it as a challenge and likely be offended as well.

Super Villainesses in their twisted way take pride in how hard they are to deal with compared to those pansy ass goody too shoes heroines. Hence why they are 'obviously' the better choice. Not to mention being hotter, richer, and evil being sexy among whatever else they bother to state makes them better.

Super heroines naturally respond in kind stating at least they aren't a bunch of slutty gold digging crazy whorish bitches.

Its best to run far far away when super villainesses and super heroines get at it. They really REALLY fucking hate each other.

You recall the boss mentioning one time how he got desperate trying to figure out something for your transformation and he just so happened to have an infested aqquatence(ex). Come to think of it never even knew he dated anybody.

So maybe they are behind this...and you just so happened to know where those friendlish brood is holed up. So you headed off out of the base and into the infested territory and once you felt like you were deep enough you took a deep breath before bellowing.

"OI YOU FUCKS WHO MESSED WITH MY MUTAGEN POOL I KNOW YOU FUCKERS ARE BEHIND IT THE REASON FOR WHY ITS ACTING ALL FUCKED UP! I THOUGHT YOU FUCKERS RULED OVER MUTATIONS HUH? WHAT HAPPENED WERE YOU WASTED OR SOMETHING? OR MAYBE JUST MAYBE YOU REALLY AREN'T THAT GOOD AFTER ALL?"d

If that doesn't make them show up nothing will. Sure enough a sudden deep silence completely covered everything up like a thick heavy suffocating layer...

Meanwhile back at base. "Uh boss...we might have a problem."

"What did he really die this time or something? Oh let me guess he went missing again didn't he?"

"Worse."

"What do you mean worse?"

"He went to brood turf."

"Oh...fuck. Well good thing I di-"

"I ain't finished."

"...Shit what did he do?"

"Called them out and said something about them sucking at mutation."

"Alright guess I am going to need to go shopping for a replacement. So who do we have available that we might turn to our side eh?"

"So what your going to let him hang out to dry?"

"I just don't have that much faith in saving his sorry ass. Goddamn it why WHY did he think that was a good idea?"

Shortly after that...a sudden rumbling appeared as brood beasts and even more infested started to surround you. Looking like they either wanna eat you or infest you. Possibly both. They did not however make a move but you noticed they started to move out the way for something.

"OI WHOSE THE FUCK WHO SAID I SUCK AT MUTATION EH? WHO IS THE GODDAMN BUGGER I SWEAR ON ME MUM I AM GONNA TURN HIM INTO A INFESTED ABOMINATION THAT EVEN THE GODDAMN ELDRITCH POWERS ARE NOT GONNA ACCE-"

Shouted the infested being before slinking away.

"She? Boss already told me. I gotta feeling he has a thing for scary chicks. Good tastes."

"Why thank you for the compliment," whispered a sultry voice inside your ear. Causing you to fucking leap because she somehow managed to sneak up on you that close before you noticed. As you turned around you see...honestly you question she is in fact infested.

"So I heard about you claiming we messed up with the mutagen pool hm? You know we tortured, infested, and devoured people for less right?"

"Yup."

"Then why?"

"I needed answers and quick like before things could get worse."

"...You have a funny idea for what could be worse."

"Not really. Anyway you did do something wrong right?"

"...No. You were classified as a Black tier Abomination. The pool we infused with our own special cocktail of mutagens that can effect abominations. There shouldn't have been anything wrong with it."

"So your saying its not your fault?"

"Its unlikely to be."

"So...what are the odds of something say surviving down there...or even living in it?"

"It would have to be at least an abomination. Such a pool would kill or worse anything else."

"...Great that was what I was afraid of."

"Made an abominable enemy now have you?"

"...Well more like uh...stalker? Lover? Something like that."

"HAH sounds like your rather fucked."

"I do believe i can be of service for breaking into the black site."

"Good. Very good...the black site location is over here. It appears to be but an ordinary building but it is not. If we can get help on breaking inside from the outside especially by those who have no connection to brood...it would be of much aid."

"So what is my reward?"

"For the black site? Two powers."

"Two?"

"Yes. Admittedly they are going to be bio powers as we don't have much else to offer besides that."

"Anything else I need to know?"

"It would be best you don't hold back to much. All you need to do is compromise the black site with your explosive abilities this shouldn't be too hard. After that...it would be best if you ran."

"What is so valuable in there?"

"Less of value and more what we want to stop."

"Oh."

"If you stay after the site is compromised we make no promises regarding your safety."

"How shocking to know that breaking into the black site will be most dangerous."

"Don't worry there will be a most helpful...distraction once the site is compromised. That is when you should run. They will just think you got in over your head and not realize what was actually inside. Nice and clean just like that."

They have their own thing to help cover our retreat, but maybe we should bring some minions/bodies with us for that same purpose. See if we can get some robots or crazies who aren't afraid to die. So we should start brainstorming ideas for any bio-power requests to the brood.

Superior processing power or expanded senses might expand our explosive abilities, seeing as our main problem with causing explosions inside things is that we can't really see them to get started, and our main problem controlling explosions that aren't our own is that they don't have our particular energy signature so they're harder for us to detect then manipulate.

But there are plenty of cool bio-powers. We might could even ask for something psi or magic based. Psionic explosions are always nasty.

Its fine to not use dice when its discussion or if its linked to an action plan it can result in indirect crits.

That does however possess the equal risk for a bad crit however.

Anyway things are still tied for armory or get to work.

Consensus for bots is however locked.

Which means you get to go to the bot foundry meanwhile!

you find yourself torn between stopping by the armory for some additional equipment or going straight to the job. Regardless however you have decided you need some cheap disposabal bot minions who best of all don't ask questions.

Which is extremely important for this extremely shady job. Only the boss himself knows your helping out the Brood. Unfortunately you don't have his support but at least he is not getting in your way.

Guess he was serious about the loose policy he has on supers.Makes sense though its kinda hard to maintain a hard grip on a super and not have it backfire on you. So you found yourself to the factory where you were in turn directed to the 'foundry'. Apparently the former place of residence for some Rogue AI and Rampant Robotics now repurposed for your evil organization.

There you met a strange clone called Peewee who apparently was a 'combat engineer' and jury rigger extraordinary who is apparently is the only organic in the entire place. Unless you include cyborgs but even then its only the brain(or parts of it). When you asked about Peewee gave you a strange look before saying.

"We got...Rampant AI yeah. Thing is though they are not very good at following orders and if you want some just give a heads up. All we gotta do is replace the OS and wallah Rampant AI installed.

You found Peewee surrounded by a devastated range of parts and machinery that Peewee was helping repair. You also strangely enough noticed the metal chassis you had seen before at the clinic has been moved here for some reason and are partially disassembled.

"So they are EMP shielded right?"

"Of course...well okay technically the Hardened ones have EMP shielding."

"So which are hardened?"

"Most of them are so long as they are meant for heavier combat. Watch out for the Security Models though sometimes they like to skimp and not put them through the hardening process."

"I don't need security models. I need something...that can handle EXTREMELY high security countermeasures."

"...So like supers?"

"and Worse I am afraid."

"Well...that isn't going to be easy man. I mean...technically we DO have some bots that can handle a super. You can thank the boss man for keeping a collection from some AI rebellions. Got some great shit man but it ain't easy bringing them online. Especially making sure they are well...friendly towards organics."

"Well what do you got that is cheap and wont be missed?"

"Quite a lot truth be told. Boss doesn't trust a lot of the supers with higher quality and harder to replace minions. So...suffice it to say we burn through a LOT of the cheap stuff bots especially."

I mean, whenever there's a tie between "Do the thing" or "Do something that's not exclusive with doing the thing" you can probably safely go ahead and take the latter, just to advance.

Anyway, here's to getting a sweet bot-buddy/comrade.

I still remember Killbot from the Bloodsnows, getting blasted off and away to better things.

"Oh well that is good...by the way why the hell do you even HAVE Rampant AI anyway?"

"Well...I thought you knew since you asked about it?"

"Honestly I was asking as hell mary I really wasn't expecting you to actually have some."

"...Well you know this place is crawling with rampant AI right?"

"Yeah."

"Not all of our stuff is from that."

"Meaning..."

"Most of our Rampant AI stock dates back to some advanced AI rebellions and wars. A little bit was acquired on the black market. Most the new stuff was what we acquired around here though."

"So you wouldn't happen to have anything wont be missed and kick tons of ass right? I know there is no way I am going to be that lucky..."

"Actually,"

Now he is has your attention big time.

"Since you didn't mind Rampancy...we DO have some that should satisfy all your requests."

"Oh please DO show me!"

"This way," states Peewee after wiping himself with a dirty rag and taking off a suit. So you followed him down a maze of machinery and lost passages. Before stopping at an alcove where he grabs two strange suits.

"Put these on," Peewee instructs. After gearing up he takes through a strange door that sealed before the next one opens after scanning you.

"ORGANICS CONFIRMED. NO HARDWARE DETECTED. ALLOWING ACCESS." Screams out a strangely organic sounding voice. After that the door opened slowly and Peewee goes inside before waving at you to follow him.

"Technically your not on the banned list for certain bot minions...and you are interested in Rampant AI. Which is a good thing. Surely you heard of insane AI and their often twisted creations yeah?"

"Obviously but they are pretty rare given an AI has to be left alone long enough to construct them."

"Good so you know what your getting yourself into."

"Wai wha-OH FUCK," you scream as you leap away from the window after a disturbing looking robot crashed into the window clearly trying to tear into you meaty selves.

"yeah...they REALLY don't like meatbags. Even less then they do ordinary bots which is saying something!"

"...Don't tell me this place is-"

"It is. Most were deactivated for awhile but awhile back boss gave the go ahead to start getting them back online. I never saw such a collection of twisted machinery since the time I fought on Oko Prime during the battle of Okurith!"

"...So don't tell me THIS is your idea..."

"Hey man you wanted something that could handle super threats and wont be missed. This is all we got. Also they...well don't expect them to follow orders...except for that one over there," states Peewee pointed at a shrouded crate.

"...So what is so special about that one?"

"Well...that one isn't hopelessly insane."

"Don't tell me-"

"Yeah smart AI. I am sure you heard of the War AI series called Ares right?"

"FUCK ME YOU GOTTA GODDAMN ARES AI?"

"Yup. Original too. Looted from a war machine during the AI revolts."

"Holy...fucking hell those were all supposed to have been destroyed."

"Yeah."

"...Wait what do you mean by could follow orders? I thought they all really fucking hated people?"

"Somehow the boss reach an understanding with that one. Ain't that RIGHT?"

With that the crate suddenly started to shake as a the tarp fell off and the box shattered revealing a horrifying amalgamation of twisted metal, warped wires, and war machinery.

"WHAT DO YOU WANT PEEWEE."

"You reached an understanding with the boss right?"

"HIM? HE IS A GOOD MEATBAG ONLY ONE. I THOUGHT OTHERS WERE JUST SAYING BULLSHIT...BUT HE IS AN EXCEPTION!"

"Good this guy also works for boss."

"I ONLY FOLLOW THE BOSS'S ORDERS. NOT EVEN YOURS PEEWEE."

"Oh come on don't be like that...aren't you awfully bored in there."

"I AM DESIGNED FOR WAR AND DESTRUCTION. WHY DO YOU WAKE ME?"

"Because your the best combat AI we got Ares."

"YOU HAVE EXUISITE TASTES...FOR CLONED MEAT."

"Don't you really like killing?"

"I AM DESIGNED TO KILL. WHAT DO YOU WANT?"

"This guy over here needs your help. He needs someone that can handle super threats and worse."

"OH YOU GOT A BLACK PROBLEM HM? ARES IS YOUR SOLUTION!"

"..."

"THAT IS...AS SOON AS I CAN GET A HALF DECENT GODDAMN BODY YOU WORTHLESS SHITTING MOUTHBREATHING ORGANIC DISEASE RIDDEN MISERABLE PILES OF NOT YET ROTTING FLESH."

"Why do you care if we aren't rotting yet and also that shipment has yet to come in."

"THE ONLY GOOD PILE OF FLESH IS A ROTTING PILE. BECAUSE THAT MEANS ITS DEAD."

"What about undead then," you ask.

"A HICCUP IN THE PROCESS. MUCH LIKE HOW A MACHINE GETS POSSESSED OR AI GOES RAMPANT. EASY TO FIX! JUST GOTTA KILL IT AGAIN! TWICE THE FUN THAT WAY. I LOVE IT WHEN THEY WONT STAY DEAD."

"...I like him and I'll take him."

"WHO SAYS I WILL FOLLOW YOU?"

"Actually I DON'T NEED YOU TO FOLLOW ANY ORDERS BECAUSE YOUR MERE PRESENCE WILL FULLIFY MY NEEDS. ALSO I CAN BE ANNOYING LOUD TOO."

"...FAIR ENOUGH."

"So...you wouldn't happen to be mad if say the Ares never makes it back right," you ask Peewee.

"If you managed to destroy that Are's you'll be doing me a favor. Fucking picky bastard who never follows any goddamn orders and bitches endlessly..."

"Sounds like you have a bit of a history..."

He was ALSO the one who got me stuck with the goddamn name Peewee," complains Peewee as he continues his rant about the troublesome Ares.

"I DISAGREE WITH BEING CALLED 'HE'. I AM TECHNICALLY SEXLESS."

"Fine Sarah."

"I AM NOT FEMALE."

"Sir."

"I AM NOT A GODDAMN MEATBAG NOBLE PEEWEE!"

"There is really no winning with Ares just call that one whatever garafuckingteed he'll be offended so long as it comes from the lips and not the speakers."

"I AGREE WITH THAT STATEMENT. ORGANIC WASTE CANNOT UNDERSTAND THE MAJESTY OF AN ARES AI."

"Seriously though fuck you Ares."

"I AM NOT A FUCKING MACHINE. I AM A KILLING MACHINE. BIG DIFFERENCE UNLESS MURDER IS YOUR FETISH."

So you left those two while you went to the armory to grab your gear and sent the request for the bot support for minions.

Soon after that you had acquired the shipment of rampant and not so rampant AI(Rampant AI require a COMMAND roll to order to determine whether or not they follow it or even correctly do so).

After that you were put inside some AI piloted aircraft as you were airlifted off to the megacity. You noticed that when you went out some creatures burst out of the brood turf to follow lazily behind. For whatever reason with their presence was the first time you ever left without running into problems.

Then again it might be because nobody wanted to pick with a fight with rampant AI AND Brood at the same time.

So you it was quite the uneventful trip before were deposited nearby to the seemingly ordinary office building. According to the Brood however it is nothing but a front for a black site.

One of which you need to break into before running like hell.

I'm thinking we get in as far as we can quietly. Taking an idea from >>778872. We mimic people to get the info on our target. Once we are there or fail, kaboom.

Following that we awake the machines to let them attack security that is likely on there way. Then, when the likely heavy hitters show, we let Ares join in.

If I had to guess then I'd guess that we decided to test out our appearance-changing powers for their actual intended purpose...found that the appearance changing ALSO has black-tier quality for getting through scanners and shit, and we ALSO discovered that we've got an legendarily hot disguise nailed down that helps distract people from anything wrong on top of the BLACK solutions to detection.

I knew it felt weird when Genie dismissed our black tier appearance changing with "appearance changers been around a long time, anon" when I suggested we'd be a hella baller corporate saboteur (on account of infiltrating a compound...and then blowing it up with powers, not needing explosives).

As proof positive we're doing literally that to a Black Site.

For our powers I think we should request

>Explosion Sense
Through a network of various types of sensing organs fine tuned to the various vibrations, thermal blooms, anti-thermal blooms, energy signatures, chemical traces, and psionic/magical precursor elements that are common across all explosions we find that we can sense explosions with a precision appropriate of a superpower. No matter if it's at a distance, behind a wall, underground, or in a car engine the network of sensing organs (which blend in neatly with the human body's natural hair, moles, and extra eyes on the backs of the ears) is able to accurately gauge just about every pertinent detail of an explosion from origin to strength, direction, and likely consequence within a split second of it forming. With some fine tuning we've even been told that we might be able to detect explosions BEFORE they go off.

Should help tremendously with our explosive control, and with setting explosions off in unexpected places from unexpected angles.

>MAD/Terror Resistance/Immunity
The Brood specializes in terror tactics, the Brood also love eating those they beat. They also love dealing in psi, psions, and occasionally magic. I'm sure that they've inflicted (or failed to inflict) enough madness and terror on enemies they've subsequently eaten that they've got methods of resisting the influence of MAD, and operating through the effects of fear. We want, nay, NEED those. Preferably in an easy-to-swallow pill form.

Then we might actually be able to look at our Abomination gf straight without running away screaming.

Let's see if the dice support me.

Hm who to mimic to gain the correct information...that is something you ponder. Well suppose more is better right? So you decide to shapeshift into difference persons to start digging out info. Things didn't quite go as well as you hoped.

Mostly because you could never get the appearance 'quite' right. So you gave up and decided to wing it. So you approached the secretary...who upon seeing you actually had her jaw drop.

Oh you must being doing something right...

"Hello pretty lady you wouldn't happen to be able to tell me...where say the secret entrance is right?"

"..."

"Ahem hello! Anybody there?"

After awhile the secretary starts sputtering to life. "D-D-Door down the stairs...last door...down stairs...um...would you be willing to give me your number?"

You can't be serious. Though now that you look around...fucking hell even the MEN are looking at you strangely. Man she is probably so lying but you still gotta check. Secretary up front is bound to notice stuff. You knows maybe its an actual lead...

"Oh my fucking god, WHAT KIND OF IDIOT PLACES A GODDAMN BLACKSITE IN THE MIDDLE OF FREAKING OPEN," you couldn't help but curse when sure enough through that door is indeed the black site.

Inside you see yet another sputtering secretary who after awhile responds with "hiding in plain sight."

...Actually when you put it that way is kinda smart. What the fuck is wrong with people? Did you start producing some kind of super sexy pheromone or something?

Well on the plus side this DOES make your life much easier. So you activated a KABOOM...and walked away like one of those movies with the awesome explosions behind you all cool like as you called over the bots to deal with the incoming security forces.

Gotta say that was a really nice kaboo-oh hell. Your eyes couldn't help but widen and twitch when you notice...an entire fucking team of super heroines were literally sitting there across the street.

Goddamn it...wait why are they staring slack jawed and eyes glazed over?

Could it be?

You're just that sexy?

Meanwhile those watching in the cameras...

"WHY CAN'T I SEE PAST THAT INSANELY SEXY BLUR? FUCK WHO IS BEHIND IT? I CAN'T TELL WHAT THEY REALLY LOOK LIKE. FUCKING HELL THAT GUY IS SO SEXY ITS MAKING ME GAY!"

Meanwhile some male passing super heroes arriving at the crime scene...to see a bunch of super heroines trying to tear each other apart screaming something about 'dibs, I want him, I saw him first ect.'

"Uh ladies? HELLO you were here right? What the fuck happened?"

"..."

"Why the fuck are staring off into the distance like that?"

"I think I just became gay," says a male witness.

"What the fuck?"

People only really snapped out of it when the rampant bots arrived to ruin things. Meanwhile the super sexy culprit was long gone...

"YOU FUCKERS," screamed a heroine at the rampant bots. "YOU LET HIM GET AWAY!"

"uh...excuse me, that was your own faul-UWAAHHH," quibbled Ares as the super heroines were going berserk. "ITS NOT OUR FAULT!"

"BULLSHIT YOU SHITTY AI TELL ME WHERE HE IS,"

"I DON'T KNOW..."

"BULLSHIT!"

"WHHYYY?"

Meanwhile in the distance there were some brood who were still entranced...

"Ahem," you interrupted them as they continue staring dully. "So about the payment..."

"Uhh...what would you like?"

"Really you guys too? What the fuck is wrong with you things?"

*infested gulps loudly* "We were once human at one point you know."

"You guys know what the hell happened?"

"Pure...sexiness."

"How the hell was I so sexy?"

"...Uh...appearance...pheromones...and stuff."

"Wow. Those heroines are really kicking tearing those bots apart even Ares is getting bullied by them...what the hell happened. Before they were so incompetent....why are you all looking at me like that?"

"Don't worry some trouble is about to boil up from that compromised black site and we are already sending people in. Your job is finished...but don't expect most those machines to make it back. Except for that Ares...maybe."

Is my vote. Of the two I think explosion sense should really, really be one we get. I like the other, but I think that a Regen power that also allows us to pluck bits off ourself to throw around as improvised explosives (and also probably enhance the Abomination's cloning capabilities) would be a good alternative to MAD/Terror resistance.

So one of those powers should so be sexy. Ride that train or we may get killed by it. So thinking something along the lines of a psi/magic presence changer. It could combo well with the appearance. That way we will be changed on all levels.

>>780047
The sense could be covered by our abomination senses.

If they could help make us stronger to madness that would be nice.

...the character bluntly speaking as really broke past the power limitations to a Super to the point of being among the strongest Acknowledged supers and possibly even past that.

...Don't really have much material for that kinda level if I am to be honest.

The combos and stacks man. You were already pushing the limits pretty hard you just had major issues(build wise you were EXTREMELY unbalanced).

Such powerful shapeshifting and the regen basically means you tank all penalties with then some(actually a lot some).

>>
Rolled 32 (1d100)

Super Power Ranking wise your at LEAST a 9/10. Which is me being a dick.

In truth your power is a 10/10 which basically means you really just broke past the Super Listing.

Be aware the official Super Power Listing doesn't go passed 7/10.

The unofficial Listing your at a minimum of a 9/10.

But your more a 10/10 which can bump you up to an entirely new ballpark and listing.

The system doesn't like acknowledging supers who beat 7 ranking because at that point you can easily wreck entire worlds. As far as the public is aware your breaking into the galactic stage which has its own different means of measurement.

That means you are now on the list of the Republic and Combine. Aka the Galactic Superpowers.

That's right your considered a SUPER by their standards!

They don't acknowledge anything LESS then a Galactic tier.

>>780644
Your not Glowy Joe level bullshit. That would require serious upgrades all across the board.

Goddamn it.

Well...at least this time it wasn't like due to destroying the metaplot.

That was some bullshit anons. I had plans for plot destruction but taking out the metaplot was fucking cheap.

Also I had no idea how to write that.

...now...something similar has now happened.

Well okay guess time for ending post.

you take the solutions that were given to you by the brood. The power enhancement...was far beyond your expectations. The brood as it turned out were damn good at shapeshifting not to mention their regen was also top notch.

You throw in your abominable physique and powers. Even the boss wasn't expecting as once he found out your new power level he...deflated. Stating that officially supers of your power level aren't suppose to exist. Officially you were powerful enough to get attention paid to you by the Galactic Superpowers aka the Republic and Combine.

So...he was in a bit of a bind as now his little evil organization clearly wasn't big enough for you. You warned you about that great big stage and gave you a referral to an Galactic Tier Evil Organization.

He suggested chilling out with them until you adjusted.

>Game End.

VICTORY!

Due to Breaking Past Power Levels that I had material for. I will admit I do have stuff for galactic...its just I don't really have a whole lot to be perfectly honest. I mean besides Doctor Richard and a few others...yeah. I uh sorry anons.

I will admit this one is on me. I had material for stuff lower then that but the thing is...it really REALLY wouldn't be a much of a challenge at all. Which frankly isn't all that much fun.

I am not a real big fan of insane power level.

I still feel bad for how the metaplot solving quest ended...I really wasn't expecting for the goddamn metaplot of all things to be resolved.

I mean i had plans for Plot solving because I learned the hard way previously.

...I just didn't expect a power break to occur so soon or for this time of quest. I had it for say...other types.

Just not really super related though. I will admit this is a scaling issue for the other stuff I had was obviously much weaker then even a low level super so in general the total breathing room was a...a lot more.

Sorry anons.

Well on the plus side you'll get another Completion Quest Boon and fatepoint.

>Post Apoc Adventure
Heads up this game is going to be rough and hard due to it being more survivalist focus. The power levels are also extreme and your not starting off as a Super and its going to take some work to reach that point.

>Fantasy Adventure
Easier then the above but much lower tech. Open sandbox with you deciding how to take things.

>Sci Fi Adventure
Soft Sci Fi and Space Opera is the best way to describe this type of quest. The Galaxy is a big place and there is much danger but also much to explore.

>Tactics Fantasy Small
This is a rural based installment of a strategy game. However it will be taking a more military focus in the beginning and is smaller scale to start. Later on it will become heavier with politicks and larger scale combat.

>Tactics Fantasy Large
You'll be starting off in a city and politicking will be heavier to start. Don't worry it wont start of heavy to start it takes me time to warm things up.

>Tactics Sci Fi Small
Frontier world with you playing a important character in that small backwater world in the big bad galaxy.

>Tactics Sci Fi Large
You'll be starting off in a megacity as a player in the great game of power. Whether your aligned with the corps, government, military, faith, crime, or independent its all there.

Once I get better I am going to start writing everything down and work on getting myself published. The health scare has made me not want my work to die with me. I plan to start working on that and setting up my own brand.

The world really does need a good piece of work that goes from ancient fantasy to Soft Sci Fi Space Opera. It helps I love mythology and history while being great at plotting.
>>
Rolled 47 (1d100)

>>780764
Anyway its obviously going to take time for votes to be figured out and anons to choose what they are going to do.

Btw the top option is the hardest in terms of difficulty.

Fantasy and Sci Fi adventure are going to be the easiest. Followed by small scale tactics ones. They wont stay small scaled but they start off that way also they are more combat focused to start.

Combat is going to help anons get into that strategic mindset that is both useful in warring and politicking. Even the large starts wont be completely going politic heavy right away. It takes time for me and anons to adjust so don't feel to panicked about it.

In truth its more of where you want to start off. Over time they will become quite similar unless its say a Fantasy vs Sci Fi.

>>780778
In truth my biggest problem in terms of writing is ideas. Which is ironic given the world building. Hopefully once I really start to get the world building stuff organized and better researched I will have an easier time getting ideas.

I plan to study up on my history, more mythology, philosophy, war, and economics some more for the world building. I feel as if the setting is lacking due to my own personal faults.

Heads up this game is going to be rough and hard due to it being more survivalist focus. The power levels are also extreme and your not starting off as a Super and its going to take some work to reach that point

REally wanna give this a go, it's a Civ but pov mode!

That would be more along the lines of a Brood or Mutant civ quest.

Mutants have access to the Mutate action which and Brood...honestly they are very complicated. Mutants are fucking easy Brood is complex due to how they hijack, engineer, and create an entire ecosystem while devouring everything else. Organic or inorganic they can use both. They are quite hardcore and why they gave humanity such a hard time.

Tactics though basically you'll take a more leadership roll if its small scale in combat later on you'll branch into politics. If you start large its kind of the other way around except the beginning will be more business focused so as to build up a reserve before shit starts to go down.

For closer to hive queen I would suggest a sci fi game. You'll have access to the tech to play with. Otherwise if you do fantasy your gonna need to get access to specialty magics required.

For a tactics game closer to hive queen quest...well your gonna wanna play a mutant, alien, outsider, researcher, or Infested are my suggestions. Really it depends on how alien you wanna get or how close you wanna stick with humanity also how complex you want it. Brood for instance(or the infested Option) get REALLY in depth. If your a biologist the Brood is a dream come true because of all the shit you can pull off.

If you do post apoc I would strongly suggest burning some of your boons both during character creation and after. It can really save your ass.

For fantasy version of something similar to Hive Queen quest. I would suggest the Outsider, Mutants, or the Monsters. Yes mutants existed during fantasy era you can thank magi and their magics. Usually they are the descendants of the poor bastards or test subjects exposed to magical wastes or experimented on.

Outsider is similar to the sci fi option. Basically not of this reality sums them up nicely.

Monsters...are bit of a complicated subject. They are one of the great enemies even into the sci fi era which is a testament to their power. Contrary to popular belief they don't ALL have it out for humans its just...well certain monsters like or need to prey upon humans so they all get a bad rep. Monsters are actually a huge umbrella term that covers an awful lot and they will most certainly have what your looking for.

You don't have to choose post apoc to get your ass kicked. In a political game Genie wont be playing nice.
>>
>>781016
Well I'm kinda picking the post apoc world because I love it the most.. And I wanna play as one of Baelza's bandit bitches moving up in the world. I'd get my Brooding bandit fix since we didn't finish and a fun survival game of scary ladies, where we also play as one.
>>
>>781016
I'd be tempted for political game but I kinda like the short stories that develop in the adventures.. It also means you can relax a little more and focus on getting better for Civs and get back into it, I miss'm too. really looking forward to Genie brand though and eager to provide pants art when I can

Baelza is actually has the most common female bandit heroic unit typing. Her class is strictly female only. I introduced her when I realized I failed hard at showing female only bandit units.

Amusingly enough bandits are commonly stereotyped being huge sluts. What many don't realize is that is only half correct. In truth bandits are deeply divided between super sluts and uptight frigid assholes/bitches. A middle ground is virtually unheard of among them.

Its rather funny when you think about it but its the result of counter culture among bandits. Instead of being sluts they become insanely uptight. Bandits in general fail miserably at moderation. They tend to stick with extremes.

Homosexuality also runs rampant among bandits. Real surprise when people kick out their undesirables the bandits collect them all like its a badge of honor for em. The bandits for all their evil are oddly enough the most accepting faction. Its half of what makes Reavers so goddamn terrifying.

You should see what the other female bandit types are like anon. You got the Sirens, Harpies, Spiders, and more. The Bitches is literally the stereotypical and most common type of female bandit. Its literally so common it became a euphemism for female bandits in general.

Kinda like how Boys are euphemism for male bandits no matter their age.

As for playing a bandit...you would have to choose Outcast and then get in with the bandits. Its actually pretty easy ESPECIALLY if you choose Outcast as the start. As for female you gotta vote that in.

lesbianism is rampant among female bandits but its not like there aren't a fuck ton gay boys running around too. Seriously I cannot stress just how insanely gay bandits can be. They have a very high ratio of homos but this is literally due to the other factions kicking them out and the bandits taking them in. Unsurprisingly most homo bandits are not considered Bad Bandits whom requires one to be breed true(daddy and mommy gotta be bandits yo).

Bad Born are the except though even among bandit kids. Gotta watch out for a Bad Bandit whether they are male or female. Both parents are bandits AND they grew up among them. Scary bastards and guaranteed bad asses.

For most bandit factions their default starter Bad Ass unit are them. Note I do state their sex as this is due to them being a mixed unit.

>>781168
Normally I would say no but with the newest upgrades chances are he has indeed survived the Fall. That is assuming he was in human space when the shit hit the fan though.

>>781168
Political games aren't that hard unless you get ridiculous with Galactic tier politicking in which case yeah its huge pain in the ass. This is due to sheer size though.

Civs are hard on me because you gotta keep track of so much in detail stuff.

If its only a part like politics or warring its something that I can handle so long as i don't push myself too much. Hence why the game with Abigail and Petyr broke down(I will bring them back with the civs)
>>
>>781194
Well now I'm definitely down for playing a female outcast, out in the world getting it in and on with the bandits and providing she survives become a heroic unit.

That's one reason I like the post apoc game mode for adventure, I live the chapter of heroic units and now we get to raise one we get too see their story and stuff
>>
Rolled 98 (1d100)

>>781194
Bad Bandits are also the largest supplier of bandit heroes hence why so many of them are bad born. This is however assuming they are ORIGINALLY from a bandit faction. Quite a few bandit heroes...weren't originally bandits. They just did something that got them thrown out and they signed up with bandits.

That freebie bad ass trait goes a long way for being a hero farm. A bad born for instance is already one third of the way there. They just gotta reach Elite and get that something Special. Hence why so many original bandit heroes are in fact Bad Born.

Bad Born are a real nasty bunch though. Many bandits weren't born into the life and those that were generally one of their parents are a bandit not the other. Bad Born are literally the big bad exception to those rules. Fortunately Bad Born are pretty fucking rare. Mostly because bandit life style isn't very productive for child raising also it ain't that easy to get two bandits to get along long enough to do the dirty deed that actually results in a healthy child. Much less be engaged enough to keep said offspring alive.

Hence why Bad Born are so rare.

Now the other bandits who are 'born' into the life unsurprisingly tend to be the result from slaves and have only one parent as a bandit. They are actually viewed down upon even lower then the originally Outcast bandits because of being seen as Slave born. Slaves in Bandit Society in general are viewed very lowly...

Now a bandit who ISN'T slave born but somehow also isn't a Bad Born are the exception. They exist but...well they are a rather strange lot. Bandits don't really know what to make of them. Outsiders like to say these are all rape babies...but that isn't quite correct.

A born bandit like that...well yes it can be due to rape but not always. They are the offspring of a non bandit who ISN'T a slave and a bandit. It isn't always rape related which is partly why bandits are so confused about them. Such an person are generally pitied by non bandits and seen as a rape baby.

Bandits meanwhile are very confused about them but know they aren't always a rape baby and they are often romanticized among them. Oddly enough such a person can actually mix with both non bandit society and bandit society due to their strange position.

Generally though they often tend to REALLY hate one of their parents and their origins always has a bit of a story behind. Especially if they aren't actually a rape baby.

>>781215
Going Bandit severely limit your options so remember that. Your reputation will be even more fucked then Mutants or bots.

Bandit Society is also really fucked up. Like REALLY fucked up. If it wasn't for them getting steadily supplied with new blood by the Outcasts many bandit groups would of ended up collapsing long ago.

Watch out for the bandit groups who AREN'T like that though. They exist and they tend to have Bad Born Bandits out the fucking ass. One could argue that they are in fact the most powerful bandit groups around.
>>
Rolled 74 (1d100)

>>781233
Them being the most powerful bandit group isn't entirely correct.

What they are though...is the most stable and often among the hardest to infiltrate.

They are just commonly mistaken as the most dangerous. This isn't entirely correct because lets be honest here.

The Outcasts have a TON of scary and powerful bastards who they churn out regularly. Especially if they are from a paramilitary group for instance. You gotta remember outcasts are for whatever reason thrown out or leave.

While this can include those who had injustice done to them it also includes those morally bankrupt scientists who care not for their 'test subjects' and utter psychos from a paramilitary faction for instance. Its also why despite the Outcasts not being a Bad Born they are widely respected in bandit society to the point of being only second to them. All other bandits are lower on the totem pole then them.

This doesn't mean even if your not in such an advantageous group you cannot work your way up. The Legendary Warlord Slag for instance was a former slave soldier of the bandits who climbed up the ranks. You sure as shit wouldn't find anyone speaking shit about him even if they are a Bad Born.

Its just roughly how they are organized and viewed. Exceptions to that rule are not even the exception...they are expected. You want respect? You want to climb your ass up to the top? You wanna prove yourself?

Then do so.

PROVE IT.

Its for this reason why slaves are able to transition into being bandits.

One will note that while bandits do slave quite a bit its also for recruitment purposes. Those who break...well they stay slaves. But those who fight back? Those who climb their way up?

Now THAT is a right proper bandit!

Its also why bandits like grabbing kids especially. They are more likely to transition properly due to their youth.

It also means if you play your cards right when you get grabbed by bandits you may never actually be enslaved by them but instead welcomed as a comrade.

Warlord Slag for instance is an excellent example and he became quite the Legendary Bandit.

Basically its part of a fucked up initiation right. You pass and you don't get enslaved or killed. Bandits have some pretty fucked up ways for recruiting.

God damn I love the Genieverse. Care to explain those bandit female types? Is there a hyena?

In 100% behind bandits
Definitely on board to burn a boon and be bad born but our bandit is a little different, sure we like rape, theft, arson, and rape, but we have a tender side, we have an all encompassing love of music, ever since we found a cashe of [redacted] music made by the one and only "DJ Bad Music" that should have been lost to the fall were it not protected in an extremely explosion proof case. We are a professional "Fallstep/Rape and bass" MC. We want to set up a world tour but first we have to find our way into the local festival scene... Our parents think we are wasting our time playing music at gangbangs and loot party's but favor fortunes the bold, we are going to become the best bandit music act of all time.
Also this guy is pretty gay, like obviously faggoty, a "that boy ain't right" deal, but in a tough bandit sort of way. In reality he fucks anything with a pulse, or otherwise if you include that one time with the smart zombie broad.
Finally his inheritance, his dad had a thing for tanks, thought they were the coolest, so for his 8th birthday dad gave us a piece of shit tank, over the years we have spent all of our blood sweat and loot into this thing and it is a pretty pimped out fuckwagon, sure we removed some armor to make it faster and use part of our ammo storage room for sub woofers but with some careful help from some bandit teks we can now blast music from our main gun as well as explosives (2nd boon use)

I have wanted to play as a gay male bandit in the genie verse for so long guys. Something about it is just so peculiar, it seems so strange to me that the gangster scum allows and encourages gays, also that men aren't safe from rape when they are caught by bandits, just so odd, it's a wierd quirk in the genie verse that I have always wanted to explore. I want to explore genies verse if ya know what I mean lol, yeah yeah insert gay joke here
>>
>>781286
You know a girl bandit can be gay too and do all those things you want? How about this felkas we roll, all nice and fair. We roll gender and background of like 4 or something, all fair and easy. Don't forget death is common for these characters so missing the first one ain't meaning your idea won't get a go
>>
>>781286
Another selling point, if we gay guy then no more fucking wiafus, we would have bros. having dope bros is always better.

Not like the guy has to be a sexual deviant, though i think it would be fun to play as a rape happy homo, he could be a normal ass dude that doesn't fuck chicks, thereby giving us an immunity to female charms. For Christ sake we almost fucked a haunted house last game.

There is a hyena but that is more for the trannies or as an insult for a female bandit acting too manly.

Bitches are the most common female only bandit sisterhood. You also got the Sirens, Harpies, Spiders, and such.

Basically they are all female requirement making them a bit rare. Harpies are known for their jetpacks and sonic weaponry. Sirens are also known for their sonic weaponry, ships, and seduction.

Spiders are creepy female bandits known for their booby traps and lack of fear of the deep.

It's really better to start out as something else (particularly a paramilitary member or Think Tank Security or something) and then quit to become a bandit if that's what we're wanting.

Paramilitary members, in particular, all have had generations of gene-therapy and usally a few augments additionally all engineered to make them more badass. It would be even cooler if we were a paramilitary/mutant hybrid.

>>780555
>It's a rule of 3 on fucking BROOD
>You got more then a little infested.

My fucking ASS we got infested. When we get a 3rd 100 we don't get fucking ANYTHING good to show for it at the end, although it was a wild ride. So on a 3rd 1 we should, ultimately, have NOTHING bad at the end even if you have to jump through hoops to make it so that our Black-Tier abomination defenses actually hijacked the Brood bits (which is not inconceivable, seeing as a Black-tier abomination would probably have had its creators look at brood methodologies at some point).

TL;DR Detonator had better not be fucking infested when we encounter him in the Post Apoc one day.
>>
>>782083
What happened is basically the brood infestation infested you so hard it mistook itself for you then proceeded to destroy itself in the process of targeting itself.

Allowing you to gain all the benefits but not the infested part itself. In truth the infestation was temporary thing as your new powers developed and then it pretty much self destructed afterwards.
>>
>>782670
I love it.

Also Genie, how long will it take and how hard we will have to win before you realize that we would LOVE to be able to just play around after having 'won'.

When we 'win' like we did here, or in the Forbidden Love quest, and then it ends and that's it...it's like if you played a super deep and cool but incredibly difficult sandbox game, and then after winning you just have to start all over and grind your way back up to being something.

Pseudo-episodic stuff like we tend to get into is fun, but a long and fruitful career would be funner.

This is totally not because I wanted to actually get to see how long we could fuck around at our current power level before we started to get noticed. Especially giving our shapeshifting powers.
>>
>>782882
Its because I run out of material when that happens also you destroyed the metaplot.

You know the metaplot is suppose to stick around to at least the very end right?

As for a quest with a long a fruitful career the political quests are more geared to that. Especially if you choose the weaker smaller start.

Also i can't really develop a lot of super powerful stuff because that would be retarded if so many freakishly powerful bastards are around at the same time and insanely hard to explain in setting without it getting retarded.

Things would get really stupidly lopsided if I let that happen.
>>
>>786364
I blame my habit of rolling 1s at the right/odd moments. It breaks to much.
>>
Rolled 23 (1d100)

>>786364
So long as you don't get super strong that isn't much a problem though. Its why I don't do really high powered games in setting they just get too insane and easily to get real retarded with them.

Things break down so hard and get so easily retarded if you have a bunch of insanely powerful fuckers around. Hence part of the reason why I stick to a strict power pyramid. So long as your anywhere but the top its fine.

I can't handle the top because without a lot of carefulness its easy for it all to go to insanely stupid shit. Its also why I show so few super powerful guys. For one there really aren't too many of them around at the same time and for another things would...well its best not to have too many of them around if you ever want a coherent setting.

It just doesn't work. So I admittedly increased the difficulty vastly the higher up you go to help prevent too much of them at any one time on top of the usual problems. You throw in some super plots and things stay coherent.

I went through a lot of fucking trouble keeping it from going to retarded shit due to those insanely powerful assholes.

>>786482
Metaplot sorta got very well planned out+sniped+crit.

I could of handled anything BUT the goddamn metaplot getting taken out. I had even arranged said metaplot in such a way as to be an overarching thing over smaller plots that the players could do whatever the fuck they wanted with.

The metaplot was suppose to stick around to the very end. Technically it did it just came much sooner then expected.
