Last Thread: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive/728653/

Last time we had a strange dream, convinced Alice to not become a looter, fought a powerful enemy, got kissed by a ghost, unlocked our aura, nibbled the previously mentioned ghost lovingly, and then began our exploration of the Endless Library. This time we continue our quest into the depths of its halls.

Current Team/Gold/Items:

Riolu <Luka> (Steadfast): level 13
Weather Scarf (No effects of temp/weather), Goggle Specs (See invisible enemies, traps, and ???)

Moves:
Circle Throw (Fighting)
Bite (Dark)
Quick Attack (Normal)
Vacuum Wave (Fighting)

Skills:
>General Item Knowledge
You can now identify most common items found in dungeons and what they do without using them, more obscure and rarer items may need someone more experienced to identify.

>Type Advantage Basic
You now gain +1 to any roll if you use an attack that is super effective against an opponent (Does not stack)

>Hero's Last Stand
Once per day, when you normally would be knocked out you may roll 1d20 to attempt to remain standing with 1 hp. (18+)

>Bare Basic Aura Sense
You can now roll to try and sense the aura of those around you and the layout of where you are. As of now you can only see the types of the Pokemon, not weather they are friend or foe.
Range depends on roll. Maybe someone or something could teach you more...

Fennekin <Alice> (Blaze): Level 9
Orange Ribbon

Moves:
Scratch (Normal)
Tail Whip (Normal)
Ember (Fire)
Psybeam (Psychic)

Skills:
None

Froslass <Faye> (Snow Cloak): Level 14
Powder Snow (Ice)
Astonish (Ghost)
Icey Wind (Ice)
Draining Kiss (Fairy)

Skills:
>Ghostly Body
Can float over and through most surfaces

Gold: 119

Bag 16 slots:
2x Oran Berries (Heals)
2x Apples (Fills Belly)
1x Sitrus Berry

Storage:
1x Golden Thorn

>Important note before the session starts:
From now on, rolls will be best of 3 outside combat, when starting combat while not surprised, or every enemy in combat is otherwise immobilized giving you time to prepare. In combat it will be 1st roll that decides how well attacks, defense, and dodging goes.

Also from now on rolls will wait until after voting is finished. Any rolls made before the end of a the quest master ends the vote will be discarded.

Session 1 will begin in a bit

>Session 1 start

Getting up from your rest after your last scuffle, you notice that for the most part is completely healed thanks to the strange way time flows in mystery dungeons. You focus on the mental map you have created with your aura sense, the Pokemon you previously sensed are most likely have shifted completely, but you still feel confident about the layout of the area. After marking down where you are and where you have been you just need to know how to proceed... Maybe if you are feeling it, you could break through some of the walls that separate the hallways.

Before the dungeon Pokemon can even react you grab onto the bat and throw it towards the Ghastly. Faye hits her mark of the Ghastly, who winces in pain from the freezing cold force, but maintains its strength.

It seems its the 3 on 1 game as the three Pokemon decide to go purely for you, the Shuppet gets in close along with the Zubat charging in from the air. The Ghastly just stares intently at you, its eyes beginning to glow.

Alice throws out another Psybeam, knocking the Zubat off Faye and cratering the bat into the bookshelf wall, knocking it out. Faye, freed from the rat with wings and sends out a Icy Winds at the Shuppet, heavily damaging it and causing it to faint. Must have been lower level.

You on the other hand, for god knows why, decide to try and punch a wall. A loud crack sounds as your fist collides with the wall as you choke down a whimper. Thankfully with time distortion in a mystery dungeon it will probably heal within a few minutes. Maybe.

Faye and Alice look at you questioningly as you use your good paw to cradle your hurting fist.

"It was the hypnosis." you quickly bullshit.

They don't seem to buy it.

"Hey what orb did you find Faye?" you quickly change the subject before any words can be said about the matter.

"Oh, I believe it is a Escape Orb." She replies handing you the orb.

>>765254
This is actually all taken from an old visual novel, adapted into anime a couple times since this site's inception.
It's main character has a case of a unreasonably huge survivior's guilt that leads him to devote his entire life to saving others, usually at the cost of his own wellbeing. He tends to get unbelivably badass when shit hits the fan, especially with his powers based on magically copying weapons allowing him to spawn unlimited swords.

You motion for your partners to stay behind as you approach the trio. You quietly make your way behind the Haunter and contort your face into what you feel is ridiculous enough to get a reaction out of him. Tapping on the ghost shoulder, it turns to face you mid face and one face meets another.

The two of you stare at each other, silence reigns as the Ghastly also notice you. You struggle to maintain the face, the Haunter's is extremely funny to you and your face feels like its starting to cramp. Luckily one of the Ghastly seems to break the ice by beginning to giggle. Soon the other joins in and begins to laugh as well, before the Haunter finally breaks down and has a chuckle to himself, trying to hold back the laughter to maintain his face. Finally you finally lose your face and join the laughter.

Once the four of you finish your laughing fit the 3 ghost seem fairly tame and the 4 of you continue your "face off".

Eventually it looks like the Haunter wants to do something? Maybe teach you something?

You accept his offer, and after a bit of time he teaches you the different ways to get reactions out of people using just your body language. Although it is a bit difficult since he can't appear to talk... but with a bit of practice you learn a new move!

Swagger (Raises attack and confuses enemy)

Unfortunately you already have four moves so you need to forget one move to learn it.

>Forget Bite
>Forget Quick Attack
>Forget Vacuum Wave
>Forget Circle Throw
>Don't learn Swagger

>Forget quick attack.
>>
>>765974
It's either quick attack or vaccum wave, boys. Quick attack is our best way of closing distances to the enemy, while Vaccum wave is our only ranged move, is as fast as quick attacks and is also STAB.

I'd say Quick attack needs to go.
>>
>>765974
dosent swagger increase enemy attack? if so dont learn.
If it increases our attack forget quick attack. let us style on the enemy.
>>
Gonna go out and grab some food while you fags decide what to forget. Be back in ~15 minutes.
>>
Quick attack has a lot of utility use so I'd say vacuum wave

Also once you guys get into the town/guild restoration arc you will have the potential to get move remember/deleter/tutors in town and in the guild, so you'll be able to change get your moves back eventually.

1, 2... Poof! You forgot Vacuum Wave and... You learned Swagger!

"Heh, that's right, and when I become the guild leader I'll make sure everyone is safe!"

Faye decides to make herself known. "It isn't polite to make a lady worry Luka. If you try to enter the fire alone, we will be right behind you no matter your say in the matter."

You just smile and nod in confirmation before you three once again dive back into the hallways of the dungeon.

You've a point mate. We'll have to remember that when we evolve, all the way up at lvl 32.

Alice, sends out a psybeam hitting the ghost dead center. Before it can even turn around you are already upon it and taking a nice big bite out of it. It can't even struggle and is downed before Faye even gets the chance to use Astonish.

Peeking into the next room you see another trio of Pokemon, another Ghastly and two Zubat, they aren't facing you either. That Ghastly was probably some kind of warning system, but he went down without a chance to voice any danger. Unfortunately they are to far for a physical attack unless you dashed over there.

You dash forward and attempt to ram the bat, although it sees you coming and is able to fly above you as you go sailing underneath. You gain your bearings and turn to face your opponents. At the very least you made this a two front fight for your enemies.

Alice's Psybeam hits its mark and does heavy damage, the Ghastly is barely left standin- floating? Its almost down. Faye's Powder Snow also hit's it's mark, not only damaging the unfortunate flying type, but also freezing it solid. It hits the ground with a satisfying thud.

The Ghastly is busy just trying to remain conscious and can't really do much, which leaves the other Zubat attempting to swoop at you.

The Ghastly gets away and after you narrowly miss grabbing the Zubat and it decides to escape as well after dodging a Psybeam. Leaving you alone in the room with a frozen Zubat. Deciding your failure at taking out those two other mons might be you overworking you and your team decide to rest for a bit in this room.

>Hero's Last Stand
Once per day, when you normally would be knocked out you may roll 1d20 to attempt to remain standing with 1 hp. (18+)

>Bare Basic Aura Sense
Once a floor you can now roll to try and sense the aura of those around you and the layout of where you are. As of now you can only see the types of the Pokemon, not whether they are friend or foe.
