You decided to wake up even earlier than you normally do, and take a nice long shower, put your face on, and get yourself prepped for what could possibly make or break you as an Officer. You're not even going to bother with the decision to take a day off or go to work today.

Today, you are going to work.

“Alright, Ellie.” Winona, Ingrid, Josephina, and Stack were ready to see you off. “Here you go.” Winona hands you a lunchbox, and you open it up to reveal a nice ham and cheese sandwich, a thermos of coffee, and a spare slice of cake inside its own little box as well. That cake is probably from last night. And if you are honest, you might have eaten too much of it. Makes you shudder even thinking about it. But when else are you ever going to eat cake?

Oh well. No matter. “If we see you in the working party,” says Stack. “We'll be sure to say hi. Maybe we can get together on our lunch breaks?”

“Yeah, we'll see,” you say. “You girls going to be okay?”

“We shall be fine,” Josephina declares. “Hopefully the expansion goes smoothly.”

Right, right, smoothly.

Because you're in charge! Yes, that's how it's...

Wait, you don't have a ride there.

“Alright, Ellie!” Stack carts over Lang... your horse. Oh. He whinnies lightly, tapping his hooves along the pavement. “Time to get on.”

> “How about we just take the tank?”
> “I'll take a cab.”

You need to get Denise back. You sigh, taking the reins of Lang, and then helping yourself up onto him. “Thank you, Stack.” You gently pet Lang on the head, and his ears flutter a bit as he cocks his head. “Right. Um.” You gently flick the reins. “Hiya.”

“I thought you said you knew how to ride a horse?” asks Ingrid.

“I do!” you say loudly. “Just-” You snap the reins more confidently, and he finally starts off now. Ugh, thank goodness. “I'll see you girls later.” Right, time to embarrass yourself in front of everybody then.

-

-

“Whoa, she's riding a horse!” You hear that for what is quite possibly the hundredth time as you ride your horse downstairs then into the cargo elevator. Lang doesn't appear to mind it much it seems, very gentle horse you're reiding. But the dozens of Naval Studies students on their way to work can't help but coo at him and try to pet the cute little thing.

“Hey, stop that,” you say. But nobody listens, and they all happily caress and pet Lang, awed by the fact that he's a goddamn horse. What is it with girls and horses!? Just because he's cute and he runs fast and he represents a metaphorical animal of freedom and spiritedness doesn't means ALL girls should like them. Ugh.

Still, he is cute. But you refuse to admit it out loud.

Finally, you arrive at the staging area. The elevator arrives with a loud thud. Before is a huge cargo warehouse where hundreds, if not over a thousand girls, are gathered together. A stage is set up at the fair end, where you are forced to canter through the crowd of surprised and incredibly awed girls. Ugh, this is so embarrassing! You gently tip your hat down, trying to cover your eyes. Nope, not working, that's stupid, back up it goes. You decide to just wave and shake hands with passing people as you go on.

Finally, you arrive at the stage, where the Captain herself, along with several other Officers, your retinue, and even Denise have arrived. You step off Lang, then hand the reins off to a random student. “Here, find him some oats and a place to pasture.” The girl stares at him confusedly, still holding the reins as you step on stage.

Captain Spruance smirks smugly. “Nice horse.” You salute her. “Grand entrance, Ellie.”

“Thank you, Captain,” you say. “Your Expansion Project Leader is ready for duty.”

“Good. Address the troops will you?” … address the- You look at everyone. The Captain walks up to the podium. “Good evening! Your shifts have been selected to participate in an expansion project! As you all know, LGA is really old, older than most Academyships on the waters today. That means there are plenty of abandoned spaces, places no longer kept up because of the lack of funds and such. But now that LGA is seeing new funding, now that our future has been secured thanks to Gertrude Pool and her timely arrival on the scene, we can now begin efforts to reconstruct LGA and make it our own. Your team will be on-site to build a new set of dorms in the Lower Levels just at the Water Line. You will be building elevators, comfortable rooms, showers, canteens, the whole nine. And I expect luxury and perfection from each and every one of you! Are we clear!?”

“Yes, ma'am!” The warehouse shudders with the cry of over a thousand students. Oh Jesus.

“Your Project Leader, Lieutenant Commander Zumwalt, will now address you!” You step up to the podium.

oh fuck

Just stay cool...

You clear your throat. “Hello. As you all know, my name is Elodie R. Zumwalt. I am your Project Leader for this coming week. And I should let each and everyone of you know, that I will be working closely with this. I want this done right. There will be no dereliction, no waste, no lollygagging. You all have a job to do, and you will do it. Follow your orders to the letter, work hard -and- smart, and don't mess around. Safety is our top concern, I want hardhats, high-vis jackets, and goggles on. And our next concern is doing the job. You got that?”

“Yes, ma'am!” they declare.

“Good.” You take a deep breath. “Now, you all know your places. Divide into your shifts, your Officers will direct you down. I will join you all very shortly. Dismissed!” Everyone starts filing out, happily chatting and squealing at the thought of having you as a manager. Great.

Still, Denise is here, and in uniform. So you decide to come up to her. “Denise! Wow.” She smiles happily, no worse for wear. “How have you been? Is the-”

“The job with the Hall Monitors is all done!” she declares. “And their reward they gave to me, shall now go to you!”

> + RETINUE MEMBER: Sgt. Fina “Fick” Mulcahy – A very clumsy and shy Hall Monitor seemingly shoved onto you because they didn't want to deal with her.

Denise as well holds up a ceremonial revolver. “They even gave me this!” She hands it to you. “It's a Smith and Wesson Model 28, chambered for .357 magnum!” Why do Hall Monitors need these? You hold it, and it feels heavy in your hands. Man. “Careful, it's loaded.” Wait, what. She gently takes it back, smiling as she places it in a holster beneath her jacket. “So how have you been? I've been following your Tankery stuff, really cool stuff!” She grins happily, bouncing up and down. “Can't wait to work with you again!”

“I can't wait either. It's good to have you back, Denise.” She blushes a little, shyly placing her hands over her cheeks as she listens to you praise her. “It's been quite the adventure trying to replace you on my morning commutes.”

“That's right.” Hilda, Tessa, and Athena walk up to you, handing you your assignments on paper. You clip it to your clipboard where your Officer's Pad lies. Hilda explains it thusly, “We're going to be working right on the water line, ma'am. Which means that our work is going to need to be done carefully.” Hilda pulls out her own Pad, which you all look over her shoulder to see. “This is our first area to work on, it's a simple dorm with baths, a canteen, the lot.”

“Right,” you say. “So everyone knows what they're doing then?” you ask.

“Of course,” says Athena. She flexes her bicep, grinning. “It'll be a good chance to show off the guns!” Tessa tilts her head in an apparent eyeroll.

“Do you know who's working under us?” you ask.

“Let's see...” Hilda flips through the pages. “Felix, Burillo, Swanson, Carver...” Carver? Hadley Carver? The one with the amazingly undisciplined shift to work with? “Why do you ask?”

“Alright everyone.” You address a group of around two hundred students, looking up at you as you stand on the catwalk with your retinue. “Here's the deal. I will be keeping an eye on each and everyone of you from up here. I'll let you do what you need to do however, not because I'm lazy, but because I expect you to do your job. If you got questions, I'm here. And I am ready to help when needed, got it?”

“Yes, ma'am!” they all shout.

“Good!” You look around the emptied out section of the block. The metal floors were grimy and rusted covered and wet, the walls were falling apart, and beams and girders were falling from the ceiling. But, you were certain this could be a whole new foundation for a set of dorms. “You know your places! First off, deconstruction. I want a nice empty space for when we move the new materials in! Now go!” Everyone disperses, hurrying to their diggers, sledgehammers, power cutters and torches, and crowbars. It's time to wreck the place, neatly.

You watch as they start carving up the place, piece be piece, section by section. All refuse and debris were going into neat piles for the trucks and diggers to load and cart away to be recycled or trashed as they saw fit.

“Oh, Ellie!” Denise quickly moves a very small girl up to you, with dark reddish brownish whatever hair and brown eyes. She wears the standard Hall Monitor kit, as well as a headset to go along with her cap. She looks down, obviously shy. “I haven't introduced you! This girl is going to be joining the retinue!”

“Oh great,” says Hilda. “More mouths to feed.”

She holds out her hand. “Sergeant Mulcahy,” she very quietly says. You almost didn't hear her. “It's nice to meet you.”

“You seem shy. Listen, welcome board. Don't be shy, we're all on the same team, okay?” She nods quickly at that. “Okay, good. So first off, what do you bring to the team?”

She shrugs. “I dunno,” she says.

“Well, alright then,” says Athena.

“I mean- I uh...” She clears her throat quickly. “I suppose I am a security guard and what not but- well- yes.” For whatever reason, her accent is strange to you. Wait. Does she not have an Irish accent? Is she not actually Irish?

All this more, later. Right though, it's time for a lunch break.

-

-

You and your retinue take a table to yourselves while the shifts all eat on site. “Oooh! That's a delicious looking cake!” says Denise as you munch terribly into it. You quickly scoot yourself to the end. Nobody gets to have your precious cake, NOBODY. “Aw...”

Suddenly, the table is slammed down by a lunch box, whereupon you find Winona grinning at you. “Ellie! What a surprise!” She quickly takes a seat next to you. “Let's have lunch together!”

“Oh. Winona, I didn't know you were in this shift,” you say.

“Well, I was, but I try not to make myself known,” she says. “Being friends of a celebrity is hard you know?” Celebrity? What? “You should hear what some of the girls are saying, lots of girls really want to be you, want to uh... well they really like you!”

“Right.” You take another bite of your cake.

“Well, Winona. Meet Fina Mulcahy.” You motion over to the Hall Monitor eating her lunch silently. She perks up at her name, then looks at Winona.

“Hi!” Winona immediately scoots over to Mulcahy, smiling at her. Mulcahy gently scoots away. “I'm Winona Griffiths, I'm Ellie's gunners! Yes, yes, I make all those kills happen, all me.” You roll your eyes. “How are you?”

“I'm fine,” says Mulcahy. “Just uh... don't get too close to me.” Winona blinks, surprised.

“Winona.” She looks back at you. “How have things been on oyur end? You getting any work done?”

“Oh, yes of course!” She nods quickly, grinning. She boasts happily about her job now. “The work we do is awesome! Right now, we're busy waiting for the diggers to refuel so we can start tearing up a floor to replace with new metals. Hopefully that gets done before we have to get out for the day otherwise well...” She shrugs. “We have to work overtime, and nobody wants to work overtime.”

“Right,” you say. “You hear from the others?”

“They're still working,” says Winona. “I think Stack said that she has to deal with fixing up things while Ingrid and Josephina are busy moving existing items out?” You nod at that. “I can't imagine the stuff that lays around this place.” You're immediately reminded of Kathy. Oh boy, she better not be causing trouble. You won't hear the end of it.

“Commander!” One of the Ensigns calls to you. “There's a problem.” Oh?

-

-

A huge pile of debris and girders lays down on a wall. What worries you is that some of the girders appear to have scratched their way through the metal, creating gashes into the thick but not invincible hull line. You all look over it. Ensign Carver explains it. “This pile of debris is in our way. And it's also asking for a hull breach. We wanted to know what you thought.”

“Are we at waterline?” you ask.

“Just about,” says Winona. “I probably wouldn't move that stuff, not until we make more preparations. Moving it might spark a breach.”

“Winona's right,” you declare. “I'll make the prep work to have extra equipment and manpower be sent our way. You guys just continue working on the other areas and circumvent this one.” They all nod. “Good, get going.” They hurry to their positions.

After a few minutes, you decide it best to inform the Captain of your decision. You explain it to her over the phone, detailing why you chose this course of action. “Smart,” says the Captain. “If it's bad as you say down there, I'm glad you didn't just move it. You might've popped a hole in the hull or something and that would take forever to fix. We'll have some specialists come down to take a look at it, see what can we be done. How's the rest of your area?”

“It's going fine,” you say. You check the time. Just about 5 PM. Almost quitting time in fact. “How's everything else?”

“Going smoothly from what the other Block Officers tell me. You should keep track of what everyone else is doing down there.” Oh, right, right. You're not a measly Lieutenant anymore. “Anyway, I'll leave you to it, okay?”

“Wait, what happens if we don't finish?” you ask. “Can we work overtime?”

“You can, but you won't be paid any extra, your salary contract doesn't cover that.” It doesn't? Actually, that would explain why you didn't get paid extra when you stayed a little after a month or two ago. Or did you? You forget. “Alright, quitting time!” You blow the horn, allowing the crews to all leave one by one. Winona as well starts to leave, but realizes you're still standing around. “Ellie, aren't you going?” Your retinue as well stops, looking to you.

“Nah,” you say. “I need to check on what needs to be fixed tomorrow first and foremost. You can go out on time if you want.”

“Later then,” says Hilda. Athena immediately grabs Hilda's collar. “Oh come on.”

“We'll stay,” says Athena. “Where do we need to go?” You're about to argue it, but it appears everyone (at least except for Hilda) appears committed to staying even without your orders. Figures.

“Right,” you say. “First off. Athena, take Tessa and Hilda, go check Sections 1-5. I'll take Denise, Mulcahy, and Winona, we'll check 6-10. Alright? Take the cars, it'll be faster that way.” They all nod at that. “Alright? Good. Let's go.”

You all dismount off the catwalk and get into the Dodge trucks. You decide to let Denise drive, with Mulcahy and Winona in back. The two of you keep on moving to make one last sweep of the sections that you'll be building in.

-

-

You breeze the initial sections. The big pile of trash threatening a hull breach was in Section 6, but you'll work on that tomorrow morning hopefully with a bigger crew and more equipment. Other that, things appeared to be relatively okay. You were now on Section 10. Honestly, you were raring to go back to camp and have some dinner in your belly.

“Right...” You take up the radio. “Athena, anything?”

“A couple more rust patches in the hull but nothing that can't wait until tomorrow,” she says.

“Alright, retire for the day then.” Seems your caution was unfounded.

You, Denise, Mulcahy, and Winona decide to have some dinner at the same burger diner you met Stack in last week. Already, all of you begin chowing down on food. “Gosh, guys,” says Winona. “Have some manners.” Fuck manners, you're hungry. You've ordered yourself quite a huge load of food, to share with the rest of course, but most of it is yours. Fries, burgers, onion rings, biscuits with butter, the whole nine. “Mulcahy.” Mulcahy blinks, a chicken tender halfway through her mouth in pause. “How'd you become a Hall Monitor?”

“Well, it's uh...” Mulcahy coughs. “It's nothing you need to know,” she says quietly.

“Really?” you ask. “I'd be interested.”

“No, no, it's fine,” she says quietly, going back to eating. Well, alright then.

Denise smiles at you. “She's shy.” Clearly. “But Mulcahy in a pinch can really save your bacon like she did for mine!”

“Oh yeah, what happened with those smugglers?” you asks.

“We busted their ring, had them arrested, put away for a little bit, though Gertrude wants to keep them from being expelled outright. Maybe she sees something in them.” Ah, right. “Though, there was that one car chase a weekend or two ago during one of your matches?” Car chase!? “And then there was that business of being tortured.” TORTURED!?”

“How'd they torture you?” asks Winona.

“They tied me into a chair and forced me to be their hairdressing model,” she says. “... look, it's a long story. But-” She fluffs her hair. Now that you mention it, it does look quite fluffy and much more pampered now. “I got a nice hairstyle out of it! Though, Mulcahy managed to save me during that car chase. I was up and yelling! I was trying to tell you all 'It's me, it's me!'”

Mulcahy says, “We thought you were being a smartass and yelling 'kiss me'.”

Would YOU like to be tortured by being a hairdressing model? And then sentenced to death by snu snu?

> Talk with Denise and Mulcahy

“So does Denise make a good Hall Monitor?” you ask Mulcahy.

She nods. “She's reliable, sturdy, reasonable. I believe she may be able to transfer branches without much fuss.”

“But alas...” Denise places her hand on her chest, sighing. “I am needed here at Ellie's side. I've spent far too long not driving her around, not being her secretary. I even missed her promotion! My goodness, what kind of PA does that!? No more!”

Mulcahy munches on a fry. “You did have that noir phase.”

“It was a phase,” says Denise.

“Really?” you ask. “No more venetian shades, greyscale coloring, in-the-rain monologuing from you?”

Denise sighs. “I only did that because I thought It was cool. Then the other Hall Monitors recorded it and played it back to me and I sounded like an idiot.” Of course, but it was still pretty adorable. Plus, you have a fondness for the old noir greats. Took you back. “They laughed at me! Laughed at me!” Winona giggles a little. “Even Winona is laughing at me!” Mulcahy coughs. “Not you too, Fick!”

“It was funny at the time,” says Mulcahy.

“Aw...” Denise folds her arms, pouting furiously.

> “Well, I thought it was cool, Denise.”

We can talk with Winona later tonight before bed, in a more in-private setting. We haven't seen Denise for a while and we don't know the new girl.
Also, where's our horse?

You shrug, giving a very cool air about you. “Well, I thought it was cool, Denise.” She grins, happily hugging you. Winona rolls her eyes while Mulcahy simply goes back to eating. “I like the noir stuff. The Maltese Falcon, Sunset Boulevard, that kind of stuff? I think you can pull it off well, maybe make a movie out of it.”

“Hmph!” Denise sticks her tongue out at the other two. “See! Ellie likes it!”

Winona folds her arms, smirking. “Alright, we get it, Denise.” You check the time. Ooh, better start heading home. “Right, let's leave a tip for the waitress why don't we?” You all leave some bucks on the table then head out.

“Bye now!” says Denise as she waves goodbye. Mulcahy as well says bye as well, walking with Denise. “We'll see you two tomorrow!” The two of you stand outside in the night outside of the hangar. The team hasn't returned to camp yet for a couple of reasons, one of them primarily being the repair of the tanks from the last match.

Still, Winona says, “I like Denise. She's so energetic! Reminds me of me!” You smile at that. “Welp, looking forward to tomorrow then. We got practice too so that'll be fun.”

“Yeah, yeah,” you say. “I'm still sorry I couldn't devote a day off for you this week, Winona.”

Winona waves it off. “Water under the bridge.”

“Yeah, yeah, I know. I'm still feeling guilty about it though.” You place your hands on your hips, kicking the dirt a bit. “I know how much it meant to you.”

“Ellie.” Winona holds up a finger. “You're my friend, first and foremost. Probably the first person that looks past my riches and stuff and likes me for me. Hell, lots of people here are looking at me and judging me as a person and not as a rich floozy! I love that about being an Academyship, I wouldn't get the same treatment as a General Studies student. You're off the hook, just as long as you don't forget about me.”

“Right, right.” You nod slowly at that. Winona smiles warmly as well, sighing deeply. “... do you have something to say, Winona?”

Winona blinks. “I love you.” You gently slap her cheek. “Ow. No. Not that. No, um...” Winona rubs her arm a bit, looking a bit nervous. “It's-...” She peeks in, and sees Griselda inside the hangar talking to Iris. “Can we uh...-”

“Anything.” She quickly drags you away further to the street. So far that you have to be out of Griselda's earshot. You look back, and Griselda and Iris are still talking in the distance. “What's up? Is something with Griselda?”

“No, no,” she says. “It's just-... You know I love Unlimited Tankery. Getting to meet Perrine Hobart? Best moment of my life! And... I know the other girls can give me grief about liking it, I bet you don't like it either.” She's perfectly right. “But-... I love it all the same. It's the Tankery I want to go into one day. Not just for fun, but to prove that I can do things myself without needing my parents to help me, to rig things for me to make me look good. Do your parents ever make things deliberately easy for you?”

You shake your head. “Hard to do when you're poor.”

“You've already got better parents than me, not to say my parents are bad but-... I wish they'd stop, you know? I keep telling them not to send tanks.”

“Why?” you ask.

“Because they only want to see me as the Commander, they don't care about the rest of the team,” she says. “I dunno, no, let's not- but-...”

“What?” you ask.

Winona sighs.

“Forget it, it's stupid.”

> “No, tell me.”

“No, tell me.” She looks back, now a bit nervous. “You can tell, honest. Whatever it is.”

She nods. “I want to start an Unlimited Team.”

oh.

uh.

“I knew it!” Winona stomps her foot, pouting furiously at you. “I knew this was stupid to say!”

“No, no, it's just- you caught me by surprise! And I- look-...” You rub your face, sighing deeply. “Why? Is Tankery Unlimited that important to you? I don't think you really explained in why you love Unlimited Tankery to me.”

Winona looks down for a second, then folds her arms. “Well... it's like this. In Tankery, regular Tankery, there are rules, guidelines, all that stuff you have to follow. There's martialness and a sense of being to it, yeah. I love that, I love being part of the crew, and even if I start an Unlimited Team, I'd always make sure to make time for both you and the Unlimited Team but-... have you ever wanted a bigger gun on your tank or a better engine or thick tracks or a stronger suspension and transmission?” She steps forward into the moonlight, looking up. “I look at Unlimited Tankers, and I see creativity. I see people who want to take risks, it doesn't matter that it works or not, it matters that they tried. And Unlimited is like this sense of... of freedom. The freedom to do what you want, the freedom to be judged not by the way you tank but by the strength of your mind and your imagination. If you end up with a little tankette, there's nothing saying you can't make it stronger, or faster, or tougher. If you end up with a heavy tank, there's nothing saying you can stick the biggest guns on it, or attach a third track, or anything! Unlimited Tankery is freedom. And that's just what I think is so great about it.”

That gives you pause. You nod. “I see.”

“Do you get it now?” she asks.

“Yeah. But... we're in the middle of a tournament, Winona. I-... I'm not sure Griselda would want that. Especially if your idea is to take one of her tanks.”

“I know, I know.” Winona shuts her eyes, sighing deeply. “Ellie.” She places her hands on your shoulders, looking you square in the eye. “I want you to at least help me with the foundation. I want to help me bring a design to life and introduce it to the others and to LGA's student body. If we can get even one person interested in this, that'll be enough for me! It will! Can we do it?”

“Yeah. We can. Together.” You don't want to tell her that the money for NATO Is tight. You don't want to tell her that Griselda might disapprove purely on the chance of losing one of her elite gunners. But for now, you and Winona were in it to win it. You were going to help her get Unlimited to LGA. With some tears in her eyes, she immediately hugs you tight and long.

Fuck.

> Help Winona lay the foundation for an Tankery Unlimited team

You and Winona walk together back to the Tankery Hangar, there you find Griselda come to meet you both. “Oh hey,” says Griselda. “Ellie, how was work?”

“It was good,” you say. Winona nods happily, smiling at her.

“I noticed you two talking outside out there,” says Griselda. “You two making love confessions while I was gone?”

“Yep!” Winona gently pecks you on the cheek. HEY WHOA FUCK YOU WINONA COME ON. “Later, lovely!” She quickly runs over to the tent. GODDAMN IT! You gently rub your cheek. Aagh, you're blushing! No, no! Griselda giggles at your expense a bit. Oh, you have no excuse, Griselda, come on!

“So what were you two talking about?” asks Griselda.

Make it very clear to Griselda that we're not going to siphon resources or manpower off the NATO Team, and we probably won't be getting the Unlimited Team off the ground until maybe after the NATO League is finished.

“Laying the foundation for a future Unlimited team.” Griselda's smile immediately drops into a very confused frown. “But before you say anything, we're not playing on taking anything from NATO or even from ITL.” Griselda folds her arms, allowing you to continue on a bit. “This is just the foundation for a future potential team in the future maybe...?”

Griselda squints at you a bit, then looks over at Winona. Winona is busy shaking her hips and dancing to a tune in her earphones as she gets busy undressing for bed. “You're not leaving the team are you?”

“Oh, no, Winona told me herself that if it came to it, she'd try to find time for both.” You try to smile at her, come on, please smile. No dice, she continues to look angrily at you. “Very productive girl you know? She uh-”

Griselda raises a hand in front of you. “Listen. I'm not that mad about this because I know you're trying to spare my feelings on the matter. But I need you and Winona focusing on the tournament that's happening right fucking now.” She points down to the ground, emphasizing her point. “I mean, starting a club yeah, that's fine, dating someone, I can dig it. Hell, sometimes I wish I had time to date someone. But no, I-... I can't approve of you and Winona dropping everything to startup an Unlimited team in the middle of a tournament!”

“We're not- we're not dropping everything to start up a team. We're just... laying out the groundworks for it, trying to gauge interest. Winona has a design she wants to make real, okay?” you say. “And once we make the design real, we show it around to the school. See if anyone's interested. Isn't that enough? Can we do that?”

“I don't approve but I'm not going to stop you,” says Griselda. She jabs your chest. “But it better not involve any of our tanks. The two of you are gonna have to go out of pocket for this, okay? I'm sorry if I'm coming across as a dick, but I got a team to manage and I can't have my XO running off into the blue on this-” The two of you look to Winona, who's taken her earphones off and is now looking at you two curiously, a little worry on her face. “... just don't waste too much time on this, okay?”

“Alright,” you say.

Griselda nods, turning around and leaving to her office. You look at Winona, who nods slowly then heads down to the tank for bed time.

Oh good grief.

She does, but she has a long history and a lotnof doubt about herself. Of course she's going to have severe doubts about one of her two most reliable team members is galavanting off to do something as untankery as Unlimited.

Just, be prepared to owe her some appology coffee and another strong performance this weekend.

Note, this anon does not actually have a negative opinion on Unlimited and is just reflecting on what the majority of this universe seems to think.
