>You decide to go train hard and work out.
>Roxanne goes with you, and you encourage her to workout as well.
>Shes hesitant, but your encouragement alone seems to be enough to motivate her.
>Shes really weak, and she can't lift very much at all.
>But at least you saw that she tried.
--
>You're both walking to her house late at night.
"So, how are you getting along at school?"
>"Actually, I made a lot of friends today. The nerds who ignored me now suddenly really noticed me and were nice to me.. Even Debbie and Becky said hi. Some people asked if I was new here because they'd never seen anyone like me around, even though I know we've seen each other in the halls before."
"Well, that's just how people are. You change how you look, and suddenly you get different responses. How did you feel about all that attention anyway?"
>"Well.. I liked it. I finally felt like I wasn't invisible anymore, like I really could belong somewhere."
>She laughs.
>"I have you to thank again.."
"Well, I mean, you were already beautiful on your own."
>"But without you, I'm not sure I would have ever realized it.. I'm glad you stopped treating me as your subordinate. I was getting pretty desperate for a while."
"I know, the fish in the locker, and that incident behind the bleachers were more than enough evidence for that."
>She giggles.
>"Sorry."
>You sigh.
"It's my fault. I've been mistreating you all this time.. I guess you just don't see it, but when you finally open up and realize how much I took advantage of you, I hope you'll forgive me."
>"T-theres nothing to forgive. You were the only person who really noticed I existed. Even if it was bad attention, I was grateful for any at all. And your strength and determination toward your goals has inspired me a little as well."
"Well.. Anyhow.. I met Sharon today, that was really something.."
>"What was she like?"
"She seemed nice, but she also seemed really sheltered. I know it's thinking pretty far ahead, but what's she gonna do once the jocks stop protecting her? When guys suddenly start swarming around her for real? I talked about when me and Danika and the gang went camping, and she seemed jealous."
>"Jealous of you?"
"Right? You'd think someone so low wouldn't be worthy of envy, but I guess the grass isn't always greener."
>"She sounds lonely. I know what thats like.. If anything, I might like to meet her once its all over and try to help her out the same way you helped me."
"I think you have a lot to learn yourself first, but that's really nice of you."
>"I suppose I can't help but be invested. Your fascinations have become mine in a way."
>You and Roxanne arrive at the house.
>She makes chicken salads for the both of you.
"Guess I gotta get my greens in every once in a while."
>"You do want to champion a physique worthy of your love Sharon don't you?"

"Ah, yeah.. You're right. You know, you've been acting more confident in the past few days since we became friends."
>"You think so?"
"Yeah, you don't stutter as much, you seem more sure of yourself."
>"You don't think that's bad do you?"
"Nah, I like it. I think it really suits you so much better. In fact, I wanna see you acting confident like this all the time."
>"I'll try I guess."
"So, any thoughts in regards to the plans?"
>"Well, you're already friends with the goths right?"
"Sure. What's your point?"
>"There are other factions that you may want to consider allying with."
"Oh yeah, like who, the nerds?"
>"I think you're forgetting about the Skaters."
"Oh right.. But, I never really see them much at school."
>"You may have to ask around to really find out where they're at.. But if they're anything like the goths, perhaps they can give you the information and support you so desperately need."
"I woulda never thought of that, thanks Roxanne."
>"Is there anything else you've been thinking about?
"Getting stronger, finding someone who can train me to fight for reals."
>"What about your Dad?"
"Dad?"
>"Might be something to consider. You could always take a martial arts class, or join the wrestling team."
"I dunno."
>"Well, Is that all then?"
"Ransley."
>"Ransley?"
"He may be a rat, but he's a good guy in my book, I'm thinking about maybe making him a friend too."
>"Its up to you. All I know is, I'm very grateful that we're on the friendship based level."
"Alright, time for bed then."
>You sleep with Roxanne in her bed.

>You wake up the next day and go to school.
>It's morning time and you find Ransley.
"Hey there buddy."
>"More work? What is it this time? Spy on foreign terrorists abroad? Throw myself into a minefield? Remove barnacles from rocks with my teeth?"
"Yeah, theres this guy I really want to get to know."
>He sighs.
>"He's short, with black hair, and he always gets the job done no matter what."
>"Are you referring to me?"
"Yeah."
>"You want to get to know me, like as a person?"
"Sure, although I hear he can be pretty sneaky and slick. Might be a pretty high risk job. How much are we looking at here?"
He laughs.
>"The thing about that guy is, he always has a price.. I'd say, 20 bucks."
>You hand him 20.
>"Hehe, I hear he's been saving up his money for a long time."
"Oh?"
>"He plans to reinvent himself freshman year, new car, new clothes, I'll be the coolest kid on the block. And being cool will get me better connected, better connections mean more deals, more deals means more money, and more money means the best college, and the best shot at making it big."
"Well, you're gonna need friends to do all that right?"
>"Of course."
"So.. Wanna be pals?"
>He seems surprised.
>"You, wanna be friends with me, like, for real?"
"Yeah."
>"Whats the deal? What's your angle here?"
"Nothing. Just thought maybe since we get along so well, we could just start hanging out as friends or something."
>"What do I get out of it?"
"A good time?"
>"I'm not sold."
"What about.. My protection?"
>"Hmm.. Is it.. Free?"
"Yep. What do you say?"
>"Ok, I'll take it."
"Good, you can meet me and my friends after school behind the bleachers."
>"Its.. Been a while since I've had a large group of friends like that.."
"You'll be fine, they're good people."
>He sighs.
>"Can't be any worse than what I've already been through."

>If Danika is going to throw a big weekend slumberparty, then it's a chance for everyone to be together.
>More planning, more strategy.
>You should take time to put music on that MP3 player and maybe take some time to buy a cheap phone.
>You think maybe if you buy Sharon a cheap phone and leave a note telling her to keep it at home, maybe you can actually have conversations with her regularly.
>But maybe theres something I can do with my day before that.

I think a broad coalition should be our aim if we do that, Goths, Anarchists, Outcasts, Delinquents, basically anyone opposed to any clique ruling the school officially hell we could swear off bullying the nerds for money if we could get them onside

>>686392
Apparently cutting into the pot market could be profitable considering how high up on the Hierachy stoners are
>>
>>686407
Haven't met with the counselor in a while. Maybe Trey can bounce off ideas for a short while on how to resolve Sharon's situation? No referring to actual names though, just give a rough summary with the caveat that it's all hypothetical.
>>
>>686405
Glad to see we're getting Ransley on side.as more than just a business associate.
>You should take time to put music on that MP3 player and maybe take some time to buy a cheap phone.
>You think maybe if you buy Sharon a cheap phone
Do both of these this afternoon

>It's lunchtime
>What's my plan of action?
Track down the counsellor and ask her "if, hypothetically, a girl we knew was being blackmailed by someone who wanted to force her into a relationship .. what should we do? and how could the counsellor help us? ... bearing in mind the information being used to blackmail would have serious consequences if it got out, hence there can be no direct action by staff"

>>686420
>hell we could swear off bullying the nerds for money if we could get them onside
That's taking it a bit too far mate.
Just offer to keep things relaxed. We'll be generous with the amount we let them keep and not hurt them unless they're late with payments.
>>
>>686439
Yeah a guaranteed decrease in taxes may be better

Also we should keep an eye on Ransley he has a rep as a rat for a reason and the incentive for betrayal is high
>>
>>686407
Find Roxanne see if she can buddy up to shannon. Maybe say something about really liking Starbucks yesterday.
>>
>>686464
Having our known subordinate cozy up to a girl the king of the jocks and ourselves have experessed interest in us a bit on the nose IMO
>>
>>686466
I can see that now that I think about it but what does IMO mean.
>>
>>686474
In my own opinion

Im honestly surprised someone honestly doesn't know what that means
>>
>>686439
Seconding all of this.

How much money do we need to save again...? I feel that a lot more dosh has been going out rather than in recently.
>>
>>686491
Something like 1800 so we're 2/3rds of the way their roughly
>>
>>686492
>>686491

$1225 according to >>686407
>>
>>686493
That's how much we have not what we need
>>
>>686491
>>647230
>Its just that it costs 1,827 dollars to get in.

We need $602 more
>>
>>686439
>>Track down the counsellor and ask her "if, hypothetically, a girl we knew was being blackmailed by someone who wanted to force her into a relationship .. what should we do? and how could the counsellor help us? ... bearing in mind the information being used to blackmail would have serious consequences if it got out, hence there can be no direct action by staff"

This sounds good, just make sure she doesn't get involved more than we would like. After all, things could get too messy if we go for the "unite the rival factions against the jocks" plan.
>>
>>686987
I just realized that the problem with this issue with sharon and the counsellor is that it is almost criminal and she will likely be compelled by law if not school regulations to try and interfere with whats happening
>>
>>687039
Where I live counsellors are held to same standards of medical confidentiality as doctors. That mens they can breach confidentiality only in cases of sexual abuse or immediate plans to harm oneself or others. Worth asking her though, and keeping it all hypothetical.

>You decide to meet with the councilor and explain the situation.
>Shes sighing rubbing her fingers in a circular motion on her forehead.
>"So, let me see if I have this right.. In this, 'fantasy scenario' a girl that you like has been blackmailed into a situation where she's under their thumb."
"Y-yeah, purely hypothetical of course."
>"I really hope thats all it is."
"Yeah yeah, so I mean, back to that scenario, I mean, what would you do?"
>"I would say if theres any way to get in contact with that girl, she should just go along with it and become the jocks girlfriend."
>You pause for a moment.
"Wait what? I mean, doesn't that mean she's just giving in to them?"
>"It seems like the only reason the jocks are doing what they're doing is because they want to be her girlfriend. So if she became their girlfriend, they might ease up."
"Interesting."
>"Another idea since you mentioned there were three big jocks behind it all, would be to try and set the three of them against each other."
"Hmm.. Thats not bad either."
>"But this is all hypothetical right? There isn't really some girl being held hostage here at the school is there?"
"Nah. Its just a.. What do you call em.. Roleplaying right?"
>She raises an eyebrow.
>"Thats not what you told me last time."
"Last time?"
>"You mentioned the only way you could see this girl was to get on the ski trip. And now you're describing a similar situation involving blackmail, am I supposed to believe what you told me now is just roleplaying?"
"Well-"
>"I think since you've started seeing me, you've been nervous about opening up, maybe because I'm an adult and you have this outsiders mentality against me, I don't know. But I'm trying to help. If there really is this level of blackmail, maybe I should be getting other people involved, unless that's not the case."
>You sigh.
"Alright, look, I can handle this.. Just give me time, I think I can get it under control."
>"If this girl is at risk maybe I can help-"
"No, I can't have the school interfere, they might expose her, and then everything she went through to keep it under wraps will have been for nothing."
>She sighs.
>"If you change your mind, you know where to find me."
>>
>>688646
>It's after school.
>You decide to go buy a 30 dollar disposable phone for Sharon.
>You think about trying to put music on the MP3 player, but what music should go on it?
>Sharon said she wanted it for her practices or something right?
>What kind of music did she like?
>You've already invited Ransley and Roxanne to Danikas.
--
>It's later at Danikas house.
>You show up with Ransley and Roxanne in tow.
>You knock on the door.
>Danika lets you all in.
>You walk inside.
>Ransley speaks,
>"So whats with all the blacklights, you guys throwing a halloween party or something?"
>Lucien responds,
>"Halloween is over, unfortunately."
>"So what, you guys just like hanging out not being able to see where you're going or what?"
>Faline responds,
>"We like the dark. Its a thing."
>"I like the dark too, good for hiding."
>Faline responds,
>"And covering up imperfections."
-

>You all head into the living room.
>You're all sitting on the couch watching a horror movie munching on popcorn.
"So Lucien, you know anything about skaters?"
>Lucien responds.
>"Yeah, one of them was a member of Devons group."
"Should have known. So what are skaters like?"
>"Well, they like skateboarding."
"And where do they hang out?"
>"Skateparks, or pretty much anywhere where its easy to pull off tricks."
"I really should have figured as much. So theres nothing else about that group I should know then?"
>"If goths are the anti-jock, then skaters are somewhere inbetween. They don't pick sides, and they don't like to start fights."
"So basically like you guys then. They got a leader?"
>"Yeah, she used to run with Devon, her name is Clover."
"Clover huh? What did Devon want with the skaters anyway?"
>"He wanted the drug trade to expand. Clover and a few others had some connections. The skaters usually only deal in weed and booze, but he wanted to bring in harder more dangerous stuff."
"Really?"
>"He almost had them convinced. If he hadn't been brought down when he did, the school would have been much worse off."
"What's Clover like? Is she cool?"
>"Shes the head of their operations, so she probably knows all the kids who ask for weed and alcohol. And if you want some for yourself she could probably get it for you for the right price. She's not stingy about who she deals with."
"Interesting."
>"The skaters like to call her 'Mom'."
"Mom? What'd she birth all of em?"
>"No, but she is a mother."
"She's a Mom? How? Ain't she in middle school like the rest of us?"
>"Boyfriend got her teen pregnant around the time Devon left, after that he transferred schools too. Left her high and dry. The skaters helped her out, and from what I can tell they've been a good community to her helping her raising the child."
"How do you know all of this?"
>"We've had dealings before. Also, I like to drop by and check on an old friend from time to time."

What should I say, how should I spend the rest of tonight?
>>
>>688646
>"I would say if theres any way to get in contact with that girl, she should just go along with it and become the jocks girlfriend."
What sort of messed up fucking advice is that? Did this "counsellor" buy her degree online?
>>
>>688663
Watch the movie and see if Ransley knows if theirs a place the skaters hang out, maybe we can meet up with mother

Also what the fuck councillor? a girls being blackmailed and THATS your advice?
>>
>>688663
See if we can sneak into Danikas parents liqour cabinet and get this slumber party going!
>>
>>688920
>>689056
This councilor is seriously the worst
>>
>>689097
Or maybe Hector got to her? Man we really need to find out how influential Hector is
>>
>>688663

Sounds like it will be hard to get the skaters on our side. At the very least, we could get them to give us info about Hector and if they know about the other two head jocks.

Ask Lucien to arrange a meeting with the Skaters faction (That's it, if he knows their usual place or gets you to contact Clover) and then try to socialize with the goths, Ransley and Roxanne. There's no point in getting stressed with the plans right now, just take it easy, stay relaxed to keep your stress levels at their lowest and bond with our friends. You have obtained the cooperation of people through fear and intimidation for most of your life, it's time to try to obtain the same results via the cliche but always effective power of friendship.
>>
These skaters look more streetwise and hardcore than goths, but they are pacific. Cool vibe.
>>
I'm betting clovers a punk skater

I want to run away with Sharon and show her a good time
>>
>>689056
>>689133
>>689141
>>689435

"How influential is Hector?"
>"He's pretty big now, I think he's trying his best to emulate Devon in whatever ways possible."
"You know, he's been after Sharon this whole time, has he ever had a girlfriend?"
>Lucien pauses.
>"He's had a few, but I don't think he ever kept them going for very long."
"Thats pretty sad for a guy like him."
>"It is. But you know, I want to have hope for him, maybe just as an old friend of his that he can change.."
"You think we can change him?"
>"It's hard to say."
"I've been meaning to ask, why is your group, the goths so small?"
>"A lot of them graduated to high school already, we may have had about 15 at one time, but time goes on, and so did they."
"I see. Anyhow, can you arrange a meeting with the skaters?"
>"Should be easy enough, we can see them tomorrow if you'd like. Skaters always hang out together on the weekends at the local skateparks."
--

>You stay up watching movies, enjoying yourself and socializing with your friends.
>You decide to go to sleep alone.
---
>>
>>689763
>Its the next morning and you and Lucien go to the skatepark.
>Suddenly one of the skaters approaches Lucien.
>He looks him over for a moment before responding with,
>"Lucien, bro, whats up?"
>"We're here to see Clover, can you take us to her Brendan?"
>He looks back at the other skaters who are eying you and Lucien suspiciously.
>"It's cool guys, they just want to see Mom."
>They all shrug and go back to skating.
>"Gotta watch our backs sometimes you know? We got a little one that needs to be taken care of too."
"Got it."
>You're lead over to the half pipe where Clover is pulling off tricks.
>She notices you and then comes down.
>"Hey Lucien, bringing me a new customer? I always knew you were a sweetheart."
>She gives him a kiss on the cheek before walking toward you.
>She pulls off her helmet revealing straight red hair and a pale freckled face.
>"Names Clover, or Mom if you prefer."
>She offers her glove covered hand.
>You take it.
>Its a bit sweaty.
>"Whew, I have just been shredding it out here. It's so good to be able to be back on the pipes again, being able to skate after so much down time.. Lil Cayden eats up so much of my time.."
>She says looking affectionately at a small child walking around in little skater clothes.
>She picks him up holding onto him.
"So you really gotta take care of that kid?"
>"Yep, parenting is a full time job. The guys always like to help out here or there. I might offer them a discount for the guys I can trust enough to babysit, but we usually have each others backs."
"Thats neat."
>"So what do you need and how much?"
>Lucien speaks,
>"Trey here was wondering if you'd want to help him out with a little problem of his."
>She looks at Cayden and then back to you.
>"Well that entirely depends on what it is, doesn't it Cayden?"
"I just need some info on whether or not the jocks come here and buy from you."
>>
>>689767
>She smiles.
>"Everyone buys from me. Even people you might not expect. I once paid a teacher in weed to fudge some test scores for me."
"Well, out with it then, I need to know which Jocks are buying."
>"I tend to keep my clients pretty confidential. I'm no snitch."
>She puts Cayden down letting him run around a little.
>"Why do you wanna know? Jocks steal your girl and now you want revenge?"
"Actually yes."
>"I was just kidding, but uh.. Can I get some deets on that?"
>You go through the lengthy process of explaining it all to her.
>"Well, that does change some things. I don't like blackmail, especially not when it involves this whole forced dating thing. That's fucking wrong."
"So, you'll help?"
>"Maybe.. I gotta know if what you're telling me is the truth. And I also gotta know what kind of person you are too. I hear you're the primetime bully of the school now, and maybe I don't wanna give the information to a guy who pushes other people around. I dipped my hand in that long ago, never again."
"I heard about that, what happened that made you wanna do that in the first place?"
>"Devon led me in telling me there'd be new business opportunities. And it was true, he hooked me up with a lot of people we still deal with today. But I was a fucking lunatic, like everyone was back then.. I didn't care who got hurt, I just wanted to have fun and make money."
"Weird how you ended up being a Mom with an attitude like that."
>"I know.. I felt like the least qualified person to be a Mom ever. But now I'm taking it seriously. Although it's really put a damper on the things I love to do."
"Commendable."
>"I think being around this little guy has really changed me for the better though.. I feel like I'm nicer and more concerned about the people around me. I'm careful about who I deal with, and I always try to be honest."
>Lucien speaks,
>"Sounds like the same thing that happened to me when I met Eventide."
>Clover laughs,
>"Oh yeah, I forgot how off the walls you used to be too. You and your little goth-pack trashed up classrooms, practically tortured kids, you definitely made so many of us afraid of fire."
>Lucien laughs,
>"Ah the good ol days."
>Clover chuckles slightly,
>"I'm glad you mellowed out too. But as far as we're concerned, let's just chill for a while, maybe ride around a little with us. And if things check out, maybe we can help you out after all."

>You decide to learn how to skate from the pros here.
>You're a big guy, and you have trouble balancing.
>Its hard enough just to stay on the board for any amount of time, much less pulling off tricks.
>You expected them to laugh at your pathetic attempts.
>But they just smile and give you tips here and there.
>You spend the afternoon skateboarding with them.
>Somewhere along the way Lucien decides to head home leaving you alone with the skaters.
>Suddenly you find yourself amidst their conversations.
>"Brendan why can't I text you, is your phone outta minutes again?"
>"Yeah Mom, couldn't pay my bill again."
>She hands him 50 bucks.
>"That should be enough right?"
>"R-right, thanks."
>Suddenly more skaters walk into the park.
>"Hey looks like Skylar is back-"
>You see the guy, but it looks like he's staggering with bruises all over.
>The others run up to him.
>Clover looks him over with a stern look of concern on her face.
>"Dammit Skylar, again?"
>"I was doing business with Courtney and Brigid, and then I got jumped."
>"Fucking shit Sky, why'd you have to go?"
>"I know how you're always covering our asses Mom, I just figured I'd try and do some more business with the Preps who have more money."
>"Come on, let's get you back to my place."
>You sigh,
"Hey that's great. I mean this is great, I'm just gonna catch you guys later-"
>Brendan speaks,
>"You're not gonna come with us?"
>Clover speaks,
>"Yeah, you're welcome to drop by."
"You're sure?"
>Clover speaks again,
>"Yeah, you seem cool. You're not gonna do anything weird right?"
"Nah."
>"Great, let's go."

>>
>>697488
>You get to the front door of Clovers house.
>She pulls the key from under the mat unlocking it.
>Brendan and Skylar go into the living room.
>You and Clover drift into the kitchen.
>You can see brown carpet and used furniture present throughout.
>Lower class living conditions present that remind you far too much of home.
>You walk over to the table moving the bag of cereal on it.
"Fruity Dino Bits huh?"
>Clover responds.
>"Yep, it tastes the same as the brand name stuff anyway."
"I ain't judging, I eat the stuff sometimes too."
>"Really, are you kinda poor too?"
"Yeah, it's just me and my Dad."
>"Really? Your Mom hit the road? How often do you get to see her?"
"Never, she bit the dust."
>Clover gasps.
>"I'm so sorry."
"It's cool. I never knew my Mom anyhow."
>She suddenly gives you a hug.
"H-hey-"
>"My Mom has always taken care of me, my Dad left when I was young."
"Guess we're both members of the single parents club."
>"She's been on a few dates, but she never stayed with them for very long."
"I think that's about where my Dad is."
>"I don't know about that."
"Huh?"
>She grabs a thing of puff cheetos from the cupboard.
>She pours you a bowl too.
>"She used to be into harder stuff you know."
>You bite into a cheeto.
"Go on."
>"She used to spend so much money on her habits. And it took away a lot of opportunities from us."
"So why would you want to sell that same shit working under people like Devon?"
>"I didn't care, I figured that lifestyle is what brought me into this situation, and maybe it could get me out too."
"Having a kid change that?"
>She has a sad look on her face.
>"I don't know.. Maybe I've just gone soft. I mean, I want my baby to have a good future.. And selling that stuff would bring in a lot more money.."
"Yeah?"
>"But the risk, I just don't want to risk all the danger and drama that really comes along with that stuff."
"I'm glad you wised up. I hope the kid respects your integrity."
>"He won't I'm sure. But I want to try and give him a better life than mines been so far. I did bring him into this world, he deserves love and attention."
>You and Clover walk into the living room.
>Skylar and Brendan are playing mario kart.
>You both decide to join them.
>Skylar takes a hit while you reset and get into the game.
"So do you all smoke?"
>Brendan laughs.
>"Smoke what? I smoke weed sometimes, Skylar does too. A couple of other skaters smoke cigs."
"And what about you Clover?"
>"I used to smoke weed and cigs but I quit completely ever since I learned I was pregnant with Cayden."
>Across the room Cayden plays with his little toys near the t.v.
"You really care a lot about him."
>Skylar and Brendan chuckle, Brendan remarks,
>"Thats why we call her Mom."
>Clover is smiling, but somehow she seems sad too.
--
>>
>>697494
>Brendan and Skylar leave sometime later going back to skating and dealing.
>"Well, guess it's just you me and Cayden now huh Trey."
>Clover jabs.
"Yeah, but you already put him to bed didn't you?"
>"Right, guess it's just you and me then."
>She's eyeing you.
"Uh.."
>She scoots closer on the couch snuggling up with you.
>"How longs it been since you had a girlfriend?"
>"Had something in 5th grade I guess."
>"That's a little young isn't it?"
"I was like 12 or 13."
>"So, it's definitely been a while huh?"
"I thought I mentioned I had my eye on Sharon."
>"Right right, but I mean, say that doesn't work out, where does that put you?"
"I don't wanna think about it."
>Shes smiling.
>"Whatever you do, just make sure you don't end up regretting it."
"That's pretty vague."
>"I mean, I'm 16, and I've already got a 2 year old kid. You think boys are lining up anymore once they realize me and the kid are a package deal?"
"You still got your looks."
>She sighs, her smile suddenly fading.
>"They're all the same, boys. They pretend they're your best friend till they realize you've got issues and they bail."
"That's just how it is. I know I wouldn't want to take care of some kid."
>Her expression is pretty sad now.
>"You're right. It's my responsibility. It's selfish to try and ask other people for help."
"Don't Skylar or Brendan or anyone else-"
>"They do help. But they can't help out all the time. When I have to worry about him 24/7 whether I'm at school, doing business, or going out skating. He's always here, and I'm trying to be the best mother I can but.. I don't know if I really have what it takes. Mom doesn't want to raise another kid by herself either. I'm starting to understand what she's going through, and I'm scared maybe I'll just end up the same way as she did."

What the heck should I say to that?
>>
>>697504
Well, there has to be plenty of guys out there who love kids, otherwise adoption agencies wouldn't exist, right? Some people want kids, but can't have them. So just hook up with a guy like that, the kind who would adopt or something.
>>
>>697504
Well we are always here if she needs any help in the future.
Im also sure you could find a great guy that would love you and your boy you just need to keep your heart open or some shit.
>>
>>697504

Tell her that you are sure she has what it takes to be a good mother. The very fact she didn't put him to adoption the moment she gave birth to him talks a lot about her love for him.

Also, while you are in no condition to talk about it because you are a gold digger, say that someday she will find a good man that loves both her and her children in a selfless way. Men at your age only think about partying and have a good time, so she would have to wait until graduation before thinking about finding a partner.

Also, it would be a good start to think about dropping the whole drug business. Tell her that you (or the voices in your head) considered about starting to deal with alcohol and drugs to get money fast, but you know that you would eventually get caught. Probably she's better at this than you will ever be, but even the best in the business sometimes gets caught, and her childr would be taken away from her in that case
>>
>>697717
>The very fact she didn't put him to adoption the moment she gave birth to him talks a lot about her love for him.
If she wants the best for her kid and not want to have to support him with drug money, then shouldn't she give him up for adoption?

>She looks at you.
>"Really? Well.. I mean, at least at this school-"
"The guys our age, I mean they just want to party and have fun."
>"So, what am I-"
"Just wait till you get a little older and the guys grow up. Someday you will find a good man that loves both you and your children in a selfless way."
>Shes quiet but smiles a little.
>"I hope you're right."
"Also, it might be a good idea to drop the who drugs and alcohol business."
>"W-what?"
"I considered doing it for a bit to get money fast. But even someone like you who's probably better than I'll ever be, you might still get caught. And if you do, Cayden might get taken away."
>She gasps.
>She seems conflicted.
"You sure you don't just want to give him up for adoption?"
>"I.."
"If you don't want to support him with drug money, maybe it's for the best."
>Shes got an intense look on her face.
>"I brought him into this world. He DESERVES to have someone love him. His own mother NEEDS to love him. If I don't do it, who will? I will never not love my own child."
"I never said that-"
>Tears are streaming down her face.
>"I can't give him up.. I love him, and I don't want him to be all alone in the world."
"I just-"
>Shes full on sobbing now.
>Fuck.

What should I say?
>>
>>698271

Just hug her, simply do that. You might not even be a friend (yet), but you can symphatize with her. After all, you too grew with a single parent and even if you dad is a huge asshole, you can't help but wonder if this was hard for him too.

For all the shit Trey's had to put up with his Dad, he didn't resort to putting his son up for adoption.

I may be reaching here, but maybe Clover can be set up with a single parents support group? Though she'd been getting help from her friends, she's been shouldering this the most and I doubt anyone in her age group could fully understand what she's had to go through.

My first thought would've been approaching counselor lady if she knows any such groups, BUT given the recent advice we were given, I'm iffy on any of her recommendations at this point. Might be best to look at other avenues first.

If she ever finds such a group, who knows? Maybe she can find a mature partner who understands her plight, or at the very least a way to make an honest living that takes her situation into consideration. I personally think she'd make for a decent bartender in the future.

Nice, why'd you have to make these feels so deliciously heartbreaking man?
>>

>For all the shit Trey's had to put up with his Dad, he didn't resort to putting his son up for adoption.
Is that a good thing?
>>
>>698386
It shows a person's integrity by taking responsibility for it.

For now let's just leave Trey's Dad's thoughts on that particular matter for later. Clover is the one that needs focus here and she is genuine on her feelings in ensuring what's best for her child regardless of the situation she's in.

>"I'm sorry, I didn't mean for you to see that."
"Its alright, I don't mind."
>"I just.. I get so defensive when it comes to Cayden. I love him, and as much as he's taken from me, he's given back to me just as much. Just to see his smile in the morning, to hear him start to say his first words, "Juice" and "Mommy". Seeing him walk around and play with his little toys. I couldn't bear giving him up for anything, I'd never forgive myself."
"I understand."
>You and her stay up a little more watching some t.v before you consider leaving to spend the night elsewhere.

>You could go to Roxannes house.
>You could go home
>Or you could ask to stay here.

Its Saturday night, well?
>>
>>698458
>>You could go home

Probably is asking too much from somebody like him, but it couldn't hurt to ask dad how did he handle the single parent situation and why he didn't give up on Trey and gave him into adoption, after all he seems not to care for his son, but maybe he does on his own twisted way
>>
>>698458
>Get Clover's phone number before we leave
>Go to Roxanne's house
>Get fit

Hmm. Getting back on track with bullying and making dosh, is there anyone that owes Clover? It looks like she can't cover all bases on her own, now that she's taking care of her kid.

Maybe Trey can do the shakedowns on her behalf? Those Preps that messed with Skylar might be worth looking into. Of course, it's a service done for a percentage, or an IOU, or at least a few of the goods she and her group peddles.
>>
>>698458
Look into learning boxing and those preps that messed with Skylar

Idea: we proxy for Sharon dealing dope and smokes to kids at school and split the profits 60-40 in her favour so she doesn't have to face the possibility of losing her kid also maybe suggest she talks to that godawful councillor or something
>>

Picky, anon. The bottom line is that our dad probably does care a good deal about us. If we were to die, dude is almost guaranteed to be a broken mess over it. His biggest problem is that he lets alcohol run his life, and y'know, he's actually addicted to the shit at this point. What we need to do is support him and get him going to AA meetings, get him back in control of his life. Get that nigga sober instead of being a genuine alcoholic.

Nigga thats edgy, why you gonna give up on family so easy? Dude needs HELP. Alcoholism is legitimately ruining his life.
I understand you REALLY, REALLY want a broken family, but trey probably DOESNT. People typically want to try to fix a fucked up household instead of let it get worse over time.
Besides that, as far a storytelling goes, it's development. Shit isnt guaranteed to even work, but god damn, we should TRY.

"W-what?"

"I need to get stronger Dad, I might be big but I can't fight for shit."

>"Dammit son. Alright, fuck."
>He rolls around a bit pulling his phone out of the cushion of the recliner he's sitting on.
"What are you doing?"
>He starts dialing the number.
>"Yeah, you awake? No, I'm not drunk again, ok maybe I am a little bit, but that's not the point."
>"No I don't need you to do that, look, its my son he-"

>"Maybe it is you fucking pussy."
>"Tomorrow? Got it, he'll be there."
>CLICK.
"So what the hell was all that?"
>"Son, don't say I never did nothing for you. Mack Dumont is a boxer, a fighter, a brawler. He's been to prison 2 times in his life. He's a little old but he's still good. Now he works as a personal trainer for this city's local boxing athletes. He's going to work you hard, but by the time he's done with you, you'll be able to fuck up any young punk in that school who even looks at you funny."
"How'd you get this old guy to do that for you?"
>"We're sort of old friends, plus I bailed that shithead out a few times and payed his rent when even he didn't know which end was up."
"Got it, thanks I guess."

>"Oh.. I gotcha, you wanna know how to beat someone who isn't a pushover then."
"Yeah, so what do you got old man?"
>"A lot of stuff, it's all gonna come in time, I can't teach you all in one day."
"I ain't got a lot of time."
>"I guess you don't got time to learn either, listen, anything you wanna get good at takes practice. Fighting takes awareness, its knowing your opponent, where to hit em, and what the area around you looks like."
"Why does the area around me matter?"
>"How old are you, high school?"
"Middle school."
>"Jesus, kid you look like you're fucking 18 at least. Anyhow, the area is important cause you gotta know whats around you, if the area is too small you can't maneuver, if there's shit around the opponent can pick up, a mop handle, some rocks, I mean, anything is fair game if you really want to win."
"What about tips for me specifically?"
>He looks you over.
>"Yeah, you've got some long ass arms, but I mean, you're bigger and probably slower than the other kids around you, is that fair to say?"
"Yeah, what's your point?"
>"Draw em in, you let them come to you, once they get close, grapple them and either throw em against the floor or wall or start wailing on em, don't let that slippery fuck get away, and don't let him go for your pressure points, protect your face, especially the nose and eyes. Your throat too, don't expose that either for fucks sake, chin down."
"Interesting."
>"I'm gonna have you run some laps, then you can hit the bag for a while."
"Why do I gotta run, I thought you said they should come to me?"
>"Even big guys gotta move, you think you gonna win standing still? When whoever it is, is dancing around you like a fucking mariachi band?"
"Fine whatever I guess."

>Taking these two post an example.

You briefly consider popping over to Roxanne's or Danika's, but Clover's situation has you thinking of your own father. Sure he's a drunk and a layabout, but damn it he's put up with you through the years. Maybe that's worth something. Excusing yourself, you wish Clover the best of luck and slip out the door. It's only a short while later you're walking through the front door of your own home greeted by the stench of cigarette smoke.

Dad's in the living room, ember glowing red at the end of a Marlboro as he finishes taking a long drag. “You're back.” He announces, voice hoarse and tone lacking. “What have you been up to?”

“Uhh...” You rub a hand along the back of your neck, struggling to pull together errant strings of thought into something coherent. “It's kind of a long story. Say, you know how to fight?”

He looks at you, eyebrow quirked suspiciously. “Yeah, why?”

“I need to learn how to fight.” You admit, stuffing your hands uncomfortably into your pockets. You've never liked asking your old man for jack or shit, but he's your best bet.

He scoffs, mumbling around the butt of his cigarette as he takes another drag. “Shit, son. Hell no you don't. Ain't you big and tough enough already? Who do you gotta be fightin'?”

“I'm big but I can't throw a punch worth a damn.” It hurts your pride to admit it, but if you went up against some faggoty wrestler you'd probably get your ass whooped, and bad.

Your old man stares at you out of the corner of his eye, plucking his cigarette from his mouth and ashing it in a tray on the arm rest. “Damn it, boy. Fine, I'll see what I can do.” He digs a hand into his pocket, whipping out an older model flip phone and dialing in a number.

It rings twice, then you dimly hear a voice filtering over the speaker. “Yeah, you awake? Nah, man. I'm sober as a fuckin' bird.” A muffled retort, which seems to cause your father some offense. “No, I don't need you to do that. Look, it's about my son-”

“What? No, that's not... just, listen to me, I need you to teach the kid how to fight.” A delay, you're left awkwardly leaned against the doorframe trying to figure out where to focus your attention. “Rusty? Bull-fuckin'-shit, you're the best fighter I know. Afraid to get your ass kicked by a kid?”

The voice on the other end of the line raises, you catch a smattering of invectives before your dad fires back angrily. “Maybe it is you fuckin' pussy!” That seems to be the end of the discussion, as a calm response filters through the speakers. Your father breaks out into a yellow grin. “Tomorrow? He'll be there.” The phone snaps shut with a soft click.

“What the hell was that?” You blurt out, excited and concerned in equal measure.
>>
Dad just leans back and kicks up his feet, cigarette once more dangling from his lips. “Don't say I never did nothin' for you, boy. Mack Dumont is a boxer, fighter, brawler. Survived prison twice. Bit older, but still damn good. Mostly works as a personal trainer these days for the local gyms. He'll work the hell out of you, 'til you can't move your fuckin' arms let alone walk, but by the time he's done you'll knock the shit outta any punk your age who even looks at you cross-eyed.” Ash scatters across your father's shirt just as he finishes his little speech, but the old bastard barely seems to notice.

“So how do you know this guy?” You're still not sure you trust this, but if it means you get some real training you're willing to give it a shot at least.

He shrugs, reaching out to pluck his pack of cigs off the arm rest and fishing out another. “Sort of old friends, I bailed the shithead out a few times, payed his rent when he was really off his rocker. Set your alarm, be there by eight in the morning. His place is across town, so don't be fuckin' late.”

The next day begins with you standing in front of a hobbled old prick with a mop of red hair going grey at the roots. He's got more scars than you care to count and walks with a nasty limp but his fist look like fucking bricks of gnarled callus and bone. The gym's sparsely populated but you see a few guys working he speed bags or lifting weights. The entire place stinks of sweat and old leather. “You ever been in a fight before kid?”

“A few scuffles here or there.” You respond, trying to play down your nerves.

The old man scowls at you from where he sits against the edge of the ring, worrying absentmindedly at golden band around his ring finger. “Don't sound too sure about yourself.”

“Most of the fights I've been in were against people who couldn't have done shit to me to begin with.” You clarify. “I'm hoping you could teach me how to beat someone who ain't just a fuckin' pushover. I just don't got a lot of time to-”

He cuts you off with a gesture. “If you ain't got time then you ain't gonna learn. Getting good at anything takes practice, and fighting is no different. Gotta be aware of your surroundings, know your opponent, how and where to hit a sonovabitch to knock 'em on their ass.”

“What's my surroundings gotta do with anything?” You ask, folding your arms standoffishly across your chest.

Mack raises ceases his worrying at that ring on his finger, standing up to his full height. “How old are you, high school?”

“Middle school.” You correct him.”

The old boxer rubs a hand across his stubbly jaw, eyebrow raising subtly. “Really? Christ almighty, kid. You look eighteen, if not older. Anyway, you gotta know what's around because you gotta know what to expect. Gotta be aware of a obstacles what might trip you up, shit your opponent might use to get an advantage over you, weapons, anything is fair game if you're willing to get dirty enough.”
>>
Mack paces around you, assessing you in greater detail. “You got some long ass arms, that's good. Means you've got reach on most anybody. Problem is you're a tubby little bastard, imagine you're a bit slow. You're gonna have to let 'em come to you and hope to box 'em good when they're close. Grapple a kid, throw him against the ground. Use that weight to your advantage and pin someone to the ground. Mostly we're gonna work on technique today, but before that I'm gonna need you to run me a coupla laps around the gym.”

“Why do I gotta run if they're supposed to come to me?” You whine, suddenly much less enthused about the prospect of learning how to fight.

Mack takes his seat at the edge of the ring, crossing one leg over the other. “Even a big bastard's gotta move, gotta be able to keep up with the little guy even when he's dancing around like a fuckin' Mariachi. Now come on, set your mind to workin' boy.”

>Now, I wouldn't call any of this unnecessary detail. Some might disagree with me here, but I think it establishes the characters and the setting much better than just the green text and the dialogue. Obviously OP doesn't need to get this long winded with shit, but a little more would be nice.

Thanks for the clutter. Would've checked out a quest with this form of writing, if it's catered to rich, original lore or world-building.

Considering the setting that Nice is doing, the dialogue heavy elements presented here is fine by me.

I like your way of writing anon. I really do.
It's just that it seems to be more suitable for a book rather than a time-killer quest in 4chan.
I'd say that you should try out and create a quest of your own.

>The sky is dark as you journey home from the gym.
>Across the whole town you must journey on foot.
>You spent an entire day training with the old man.
>Arm muscles and leg muscles sore.

>You start to think about what Dad might be doing as you get closer to the house.
>Passing into areas with more houses.
>Most of these people on the block probably own their houses.
>But Dad is just renting.
>Looking at the neighborhood houses, peering into peoples dimly lit backyards as you pass them on the sidewalk.
>You get the feeling that you don't really belong here.
>As you encroach closer you lament how slow you are before making your way up to the front door.

>"What, did you go there?"
"Dad I.. Thanks."
>Silence save for the t.v playing in the background.
>Its noise seeming muted as you stand there before him.
>"Yeah, you're welcome."
>He says, returning his gaze to the t.v.
>You decide to go into the kitchen.
>Trash overflowing from the garbage can.

>You walk out the front door with the trashbag.
>You catch Dad looking at you as you pass.

>You walk over to the kitchen again, pulling out a garbage liner and securing a new one over the trash container.
>You then walk over to the kitchen sink to wash off your hands.
>Theres bits of hamburger helper, pale and gross looking caught in the drain that you lazily poke down with your finger so you don't have to look at it.

>You lament the state of your room and state of your home.
>Your thoughts drift to Sharon, how clean her place was.
>How expensive everything looked.
>How each and every feature of that house is at least a thousand times better than anything in here.
>Pool in the back yard. Multiple stories and bedrooms.
>Here you are in this cheap house your Dad is renting.
>The whole place could be condemned for all you care.
>It's never brought you any great joy.
>You flop on your bed.

>Even Roxannes place is faar nicer than here.
>Maybe not Clovers place, hers and yours are about the same, minus hers being just a bit cleaner.
>Even if you did decide to tidy up, a ratshack is still a ratshack.
>Better off doing something more productive.
>You stare at the phone.
>What will Sharon think when she gets it and the note you've written.
>The note reads.
>"Only use at your own home, call me, [TREYS NUMBER]"
>Will she know it's from you?
>I mean, who else would it be right?
>Is this idea stupid too?
>Spinning your wheels here, thats what it feels like sometimes..
>You get up, turn the light off, and go to bed.

It is the next day, it is raining.
You've slept in your clothes from the previous night.
>Rain pelts against the window.
>Light off, but you can see the yellow shine from the hallway, and the grey from the dark cloudy outside.

Go through the training motions that Mack taught us for about 15mins. Afterwards, go shower and change to a clean set of clothes. Grab some food if there are any, and head for school in the last 10mins or something.

If there's no food at home, Roxanne might have some with her instead.

Now when and how do we get sharon the phone without Frat fuckers noticing?
>>

>Now when and how do we get sharon the phone without Frat fuckers noticing?
Rope Debbie and Becky in to peel Sharon off the jocks for a short while. They're not fully associated with Trey yet, so the jocks won't raise suspicions right away.

From this point, we could either hand it personally (riskier, but at least Sharon is assured that it came from Trey), or have Debbie or Becky hand it to Sharon on our behalf.

There was also a suggestion in the previous thread about dropping off the phone in her letterbox. Dunno how she'd know when to look for it though, and there's a chance the jocks might snoop around there too.

Her eyes dart around.

You hand it to her with the letter.

"I need you to hide it, and then find it again after class is over."

"Thanks for picking up some of the slack, I woulda helped do some rounds myself but-"
>"Perfect fine sir-, I mean Trey. Its almost not necessary at this point. Many students see it as routine. Visits from you might make them more uneasy if they're merely doing exactly what we ask of them anyway."
You scratch your head.
"Well, I guess. Still wanna keep the fear in em every once in a while."
>"We're steadily progressing toward out goal. Actually I've run some rough calculations."
"Calculations huh?"
>"If we can manage 100 dollars in savings every school week for the remaining 5 weeks, we should have more than enough for the trip."
"Thats great!"
>"This is however barring any expenses we may incur. I would advise being thrifty and only making expenditures where they are absolutely necessary."

"Oh?"
>"I merely.. Wanted her to give in on the offchance they would ease up, and it might give you an opportunity to run away together, or be able to more easily meet in secret till you could come up with a plan."
"Still, that ain't cool. She can't just give in, that's exactly what they want outta her."
>"I'm aware of that.. I wasn't exactly thinking straight when you sort of dropped the whole thing on me."
"Well, whatever."
>"Trey, I mean, if theres anything I can do to help at all-"
"I appreciate it, but.. For now, just wait."
>"Alright, I'm sorry."
--

>It's sometime later after school and you're just hanging out at the skatepark watching the skaters for a bit.

"Yeah, I programmed it into your phone just for convenience."
>"I got the note too. I'm at home right now."

>Old Friend

Hopefully she isn't frienzoning us already and its just nostalgia catching up.

Tell her that it was just a normal day like any other, nothing out of usual besides the risky move of getting her the phone. As for music, something trendy and cheerful, something that would help her to stop thinking about those sickfuck jocks.

That aside, probably it would help to reunite with Clover to see if we can find an alternative to the whole drug busines and if we are successful with that consider in the future to recruit her faction as a favor in the eventual clash with the jocks. Or alternatively, if going with Clover is no option, go with Roxanne and think about how the councelor could help us with the whole blackmail deal, she's smart and could offer some ideas.

"I dunno, we got this big fence with a bunch of shrubs on one side, and a big wall in front of us and to the side. And the only way back out without climbing the fence is the way we came in."
>"Whats your point dude?"
>"Yeah, it's gotta be secluded man."
"I think we should observe our surroundings, I mean, maybe this is a trap like last time."

"Yeah? Spill it."
>"Farley, he deals with us regularly, he comes in and buys a ton of weed and booze every week on Thursday."
"Hmm, you got more?"
>"Yeah, it's one of the main reason he's got so many hoes, he gets them booze and weed, and then they put out for him."
"Anything else?"
>Brendan responds.
>"Nothing, deals are short and sweet."
>Skylar adds,
>"But he's an asshole who likes to complain about the quality of our products."

>>
>>709413
Thank Clover for the info on Farley.

One one hand, yeah taking him down is definitely something that needs to be done to lessen the pressure on Sharon. But on the other hand, he's a repeat customer for Clover and gang.

I suppose Trey could first figure out where he gets his cash for said booze and weed. He wouldn't be gunning for Sharon if he's otherwise loaded.
>>
>>709413
Thank Clover for the Information, let her know we're available if she/they need help again or they want to do business sometime also

Looks like training is paying off already. If we get even more muscular and improve our technique and speed with our coach, we might be able to actually handle the jock zerg rush that destroyed Trey back when they started harassing Sharon.

I second the idea of going to train again and telling the skaters that they can count with you if there's more jobs where muscle is required. And of course, if there's enough time, actually do the MP3 stuff

>"Hey Trey?"
"Yeah?"
>"My room is too big."
"What?"
>"It seems really big. I don't really do that much in my room, but, it just feels so big, bigger than it needs to be."
"You're lucky, having a big room is awesome."
>A minute or two goes by.
>"It makes me feel small sometimes, and even though its full of stuff, it feels empty. Do you know what thats like?"
"Never had that problem."
>"I guess that doesn't make much sense does it?"
"Not really, but having a big room seems cool."
>"Ok.. Well, I'm going to sleep now."
"Goodnight Sharon."
>"Night Trey :)"

>It's the next morning at school.
>You're suddenly approached by Lucien.
>"Hey, Trey."
>You fist bump him.
"Whats going on?"
>"Got you some news on Monty."
"Monty? What'd you get?"
>"One of our own managed to overhear that Monty plans to make a move pretty soon on Sharon. He's gonna force her out on a date at Starbucks this Friday."
"Damn dude."
>"I wanna see you succeed with Sharon just like I did with Eventide. I know where he gets off at during his last period class. He takes Mr.John's history in classroom 316."
"Thats great, thanks for the info."
>"Do you need any help from me? Although I feel like you should be the one to come up with the plan."

Spread the rumor that Monty is Sharon's boyfriend and their date plans. Hopefully it'll force one of the others to take him out if everyone believes it.

Get someone to date-crash.
>>
>>715782
Crash the date and ''Kidnap'' Sharon via motorcycle/Car

>>715791
do we really want to disrupt the balance of power between those those three just yet?
>>

E-Z P-Z. Plant Weed on Monty, preferrably his backpack or possibly even in his locker. Get an anonymous note to his teacher stating "I saw Monty in possession of illegal substances" (worded like that so it seems nerdy).
He gets stopped, checked, busted. Detention and further potential intervention.
Even better is that his rival jock leader buys weed routinely. He will suspect him.
>>
>>715791
Supporting half of this. Nobody will buy the relationship narrative - they will believe the forced date plans though.

We need to divide and conqour the top tier of the jocks.
>>
>>715791

Sounds like a plan.

>>715868

I think this plan needs extra steps to work. First we need to find which one is his locker, learn his combination to open it, and optionally disguise somebody as a jock that breaks in his locker so in case there's witnesses, he will think an actual jock did it.
>>
Be in the coffee shop, incognito of course, and have Roxanne in her new outift (since nobody will really recognize her as our nerdy underling from before) and maybe even Dani there to cockblock the shit out of this guy. We stay there hidden in the background in case he tries anything funny.

Nah mate, that's shit.
Go off to your own thread I can safely ignore.

Sounds good to me.
Put the rumour out there that they're together and going on a date tonight, make it sound like Monty was bragging about it.
Ransley, Becky/Debbie, the nerds we've got doing homework for us, the goths and the skaters can all be convinced, threatened or bargained into spreading the rumours for us, and spreading the right rumours.

This'll force the three into conflict, ideally Hector and Farley will deal with Monty, taking him out of the picture as far as we're concerned (meaning we're free to use weed to frame one of the other two). But at the very least they'll have to stop his plans for tonight AND it'll increase conflict between the three of them (meaning that if we have to use weed to frame him in the future he'll be even more willing to believe it was Farly).

>Do we really want to disrupt the balance of power between those those three just yet?
We'll need to do it sooner or later and this looks like a perfect opportunity to get Hector+Farly to take out Monty. I doubt we'll get a better chance to drop our opposition from 3 to 2.

I reckon most people in the school will believe the date's legit. Hector, Farley and their close associates will know otherwise but I reckon the rumour makes more sense if we spread it so it seems like Monty was bragging about it.
