Meanwhile a couple hundred yards away.

Kira Izuru, lieutenant of the third division and Iba Tetsuzaemon, lieutenant of the seventh division are engaged in pitched combat against two invading ryoka.

Izuru smirks as he manages to cut the mexican boy with his released sword.
Chads arm then slumps to the ground much to the kids surprise.
"It's over ryoka.
My Wabisuke doubles the weight of anything it cuts.
Surrender now and we'll let you live."

But to Kiras surprise the young Yasutora raises his arm almost effortlessly.
After giving it a few good squeezes he charges the lieutenant once more.
"Didn't you hear me?"
Kira asked.
"I said it's pointless!"

The moment the lieutenant cuts the flying fist however is the moment when the fight is decided.
As Wabisuke connects and Chads weight quadruples so does the kinetic energy of his punch.
Kiras eyes begin to bulge when his Zanpakuto snaps in two and when Sados fist is driven in his stomach.

When the attack ends the lieutenant is soaring through the sky right into a brick wall behind him.
The construct caves in as Izuru is firmly lodged into it.
Each breath he takes becomes painful as he feels a broken rib pressing against his lungs.
But despite his injury he manages to free himself and stand almost upright.

Chad gives his arm a good look and a few squeezes.
"I'm sorry.
I was hoping that'd knock you out.
But it seems it wasn't enough."
Kira raises his broken sword as he keeps panting.
"Please stop. I don't wish to harm you."

"To..."
Kira then throws up blood.
"To hell with you! If... if you think that this is enough to stop a lieutenant then you are dead wrong!"

"I see."
Chads left arm begins to envelop itself in white armor.
"Then you leave me no choice."
With a quick use of bringer light he charges the lieutenant.
"La Muerte."


In that moment a loud crash could be heard and Lieutenant Iba looks up in surprise.
"Izuru!"

"Big mistake old man!
I'm the one you should worry about!"
Tatsuki chastises him.

In a flash of green light Tatsuki launches herself from the ground.
Out of the 3 fullbringers she is the most talented when it comes to the usage of the common fullbring abilities, such as bringer light.
As she darts around the place she creates small bounce pads under her feet or even in the air.
With this she is capable of unleashing a constant assault of high speed pokes and jabs at her enemy from every conceivable direction.

Individually these attacks aren't worth much but as the damage begins to pile up and the shinigami is overwhelmed, his defense shatters.
One stray attack swings his sword to the side, exposing his front.
Tatsuki seeing this jumps at the opportunity.

One final use of bringer light accelerates her to ludicrous speeds.
Then she swings her arms backwards and sets off an explosion behind her, propelling her even more.
"Half-kiloton KICK!"

And the final one is Ichigo who is fighting far away from the others.
He got a nasty cut above his eyebrow and the flowing blood blocks his sight quite effectively.

"What's wrong ryoka?"
Ikkaku asks while twirling his machete around.
"Why haven't you released your sword yet?
Don't tell me Renji wasn't joking when he said you don't know its name."

Ichigo tries one last time to wipe the blood from his eyes but fails.
He looks at his wrecked right arm and sighs.
"And here I thought your weapon was too goofy to be effective.
I shouldn't have underestimated you, sorry."
The boy then switches his sword to his left hand.
"I guess I have no choice. Without my dominant arm I can't fight normally."
He takes a deep breath and begins to channel his reiryoku.
"Shout, Zangetsu!"

In a flash of pure whiteness Ikkakus chest is torn open.
Suffering such a damage almost killed him instantly.
He looks at Ichigo in disbelief but after realizing his defeat he welcomes death with a smile.
"Well damn...
That was... awesome..."

Ikkaku then loses consciousness.
Ichigo runs to him and begins applying Ikkakus own cauterizing medicine to his wound and as such he failed to notice Ikkakus sclera changing colors as his consciousness began drifting away.
At the same time Isane finally recovers from the shock of these 3 being defeated.
You give her a quick look and ask her something.

She seems to be obviously distraught.

You decided that the smartest thing would be to go into the prison while the enemy was still very much confused, free Rukia and then pick up the others one by one and finally leave this damned place.

As fast as your legs can carry you, you keep running around the Seireitei only ever stopping when you feel shinigami patrols appearing.
In hopes of avoiding battles all together you kept to the shadows and thankfully with the sunset there are a lot of those around.
It gives you a sense of accomplishment as all the shinigami simply run past you like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off.
The hardest part of it all is holding back your laughter as the fools completely miss you.

After the coast is clear you begin running once more.
Soon you'll reach the Senzaikyū and you can go on with your plan.

But as you are running at full speed you ran around a corner and finally see the street leading to the shrine itself...

As you are crashing down to reality the first thing you see is a white robe flowing with the wind.

In the air you do a double somersault and land on your feet.
For a brief moment you focus on the captain assaulting you.

He tosses his white Haori aside and his swords sheathe.
"You might have changed your shape demon!
But... there is no way... MY SWORD WILL EVER FAIL TO RECOGNIZE YOU!"

After a swift swing of his blade it transforms into a yataghan.
The blade is the same as you've last seen it many years ago. Tiny holes in the blade and a flint lock at the grip.
You also noticed something else: He didn't call out the swords name.

You don't know what to do. You don't even know how to feel at this point.

Once it reaches you the fire explodes in a myriad of colors.

With a furious scream you run right through the ball of fire straight at him.
Your swords clash once more but you can't make him budge.

Your tears are running like a waterfall.
"THAT'S MY WIFE YOU MONSTER!"

With a flick of his thumb his sword begins to emit some sort of gas that envelops the blade.
Once the flint ignites it the fire infuses the blade with insane power and he pushes you back.
"I SWORE I'D AVENGE THOSE YOU'VE MURDERED THAT DAY!
ALL THE SUFFERING YOU CAUSED! ALL THE PAIN YOU CREATED! ALL THAT SUFFERING!
THE DEAD WILL NOT REST UNTIL YOU PAY!"

You begin twirling in the air, preparing Danza de la Serpiente Profana.
The movements were not meant for a human body so with every strike you feel your muscles tearing themselves apart and your arms jumping in and out of their sockets but you don't care.

Asato is capable of at least keeping up with you.
Not one of your strikes connect but neither do his.
At the end of your chain attack you put every ounce of force you can into your attack and so does he.

A circle of fire erupts around you briefly when your swords connect.
You both grit your teeth and growl at the other.
As you are locked in such a manner you grab his still flaming sword with your left hand.

You scream as the blade cuts into you and the fire melts your flesh but you manage to pull it aside and when you do you headbutt the shinigami as strong as you can.
He reels back a bit and you see his nose bleeding and his glasses shattering.

"THE ONE TRUE MONSTER HERE IS THE ONE WHO DOESN'T LET A POOR MAN TALK WITH HIS WIFE!
NOW MOVE!"

He doesn't seem to be eager to stop but a figure approaches him from behind.
A hand is put upon his shoulder and he is met with tearful eyes.

The desire to look into her eyes and speak with her heart to heart was too strong.

She tries to wipe her tears away but it proves to be futile.
Not being able to look at you with all those tears she looks down and keeps sobbing.

She looks up at you with her typical bright smile. The tears disappeared as if they are not worthy of tarnishing her.

Well, there's a massive argument to be had there over collective and individual guilt, the limits of free will, the position of soldiers in society, and a lot of other nuances. What we see in hell are people that not only do bad things, but who revel in it. Kaizar's choices since dying have tended to suggest that he's in that grey area a lot of Germans were in, where for one reason or another he did things he wouldn't ordinarily do for their own unique reasons.

Not to excuse Nazis of course, or to deny that if there IS a hell it's not full of them. That's not even the sense I got from that. It always came across to me that as a soldier and loyal German Siegfried saw no viable alternative than to make what he could of a shit situation. And to be honest, he'd need only to look at Spain as an example of what could happen if things went wrong: half a million dead at least, massive civilian displacement, summary executions and political purges. Even if you weren't an anti-Semite it'd be easy to go along with things at first with that perspective, and it's a named trend that once you get involved in something that fucked up it's almost impossible to divest yourself from it even if you hate it: it'd basically be the Executioner's Dilemma.

You flip your sword and point it downward.
With it's edge facing the captain you cut the ground under you and send dirt flying towards the captain.
He doesn't seem to be too bothered by this and simply annihilates the dust with a swipe of his flaming sword.

But in the timeframe of his blade obstructing his vision you used a fully powered sonído to get the hell away from the vengeful shinigami.
Once you are away you suppress your reiatsu and begin formulating a plan.
It's quite insane so it might just work.

It was quite difficult to zip around while trying to conceal your location and a captain tailing you but you didn't have to do it for too long.
The plan was simple, find a way to blend in as it's nigh impossible to find you via reiryoku sensing.
And since you just let out some hollow energy every shinigami in the sector swarmed the area in no time.

All you really had to do is stand out and slap your bum while making rude remarks to the shinigami and they charged you in an instant.
After beating them senseless you took the shihakusho of the guy who was closes to you in size and violà, you managed to completely disappear from everyones radar.

Once that was done you used an interesting bit of information you gathered with your pesquísa.
Namely that apparently the Seireitei has quite a sewer system underneath the pavement.
As you lifted the large slab of stone you felt a familiar reiatsu coming to you from the Senzaikyu.

Meanwhile at the Senzaikyu:

You draw the shinigami blade and slam it into your own chest.
As the body dies around you your true form erupts from it's confines.
Finally not being constricted like that you pick up wiggles who squeaks from joy as he looks at you.

The two of you do some gill wagging and put him back to your pocket.

It seems that the shinigami at least noticed the glowing reishi and began swarming you.
You count several dozens of them.
With a satisfied smile you finally put away that toy sword and draw Basilisco.
After swinging the heavy blade once the shinigami scatter in the wind.

One of the shinigami has the bright idea to get up from the ground and tries to backstab you but you grab him by the neck and choke slam him into the ground.
As you step on his neck you look at him with disappointed eyes.

You begin to wonder about the kids reaction when they see you just as you are getting closer to Ichigo.
