You decide to search for clues in Gijon, focusing on the man who you overheard say something about the sun... if he knew of their weaknesses, maybe he knows of a more reliable way to defeat them? You begin searching around the city, starting out near the coast, where you last saw the man- but to no avail. Perhaps he has left town, you wonder? He could´ve gone to Altamira and completely missed you, but going back would be, quite frankly, a waste of time. Perhaps you could try to figure out what he meant by "breathing", althrough you are not sure if you could, or you could keep searching for him.

What´s for sure is that you need to find a way to combat those vampires soon, before they begin expanding their control over the area- by the time you left, everyone was already terrified of the mysterious murders, it wouldn´t take much more for people to start fleeing the area- and the vampires would have all the time they need for whatever devious plans they have.

Deciding to continue your search for the man, you ask your friend Francisco for help- with the help of his Stand, you´ll have access to the senses of the area´s animals, and it´ll be that much easier to find the person you´re looking for. You remember it being a young-looking man, around his 20´s, with light brown hair. You did not get a good look at his eyes, but you do remember a pretty distinictive scar on his left cheek- which is the main thing you´re looking out for.

Surely enough, thanks to Francisco´s help- much to his bickering, since he was attempting to research the mask, he has been quite insistent in figuring out how it works- You´re getting quite worried, to be honest. Perhaps you should prevent him from having it without your supervision- you wouldn´t like him doing anything reckless.

You find the man soon after it begins raining- it wasn´t hard to find a man whose steps on puddles rippled light. You wonder what´s up with that.

You call your Stand to your side, attempting to use it´s magnetic powers to snatch the knife from Francisco´s hands- and only succeeding in making a rather nasty cut across his face with it as it clatters to the ground. Diego bolts forward, his hand glowing with the power of the Sun- but he is too far away, he cannot possibly reach Francisco in time to stop him, as he puts on the mask
-" I´ll transcend my humanity, José!"

Diego´s blow arrives just a moment too soon, striking him just before the transformation is complete- And Francisco´s body crahses through the window, and into the rain outside.

By the time you look out the window, he is no longer there, having run off with the Stone Mask.

The sound of the rain cannot hope to fill the silence that has occupied the room, like a dark shroud covering the area. It feels like a funeral.
