Onii-chan I'm cold, could you warm me up by utilizing the effectiveness of social media sites to help our kindly fair-skinned elven friends spread their anti-dark elf propaganda by mining the internet for all the topographical data you can find relating to their homeland, from which you'll create a set of immersive data visualization tools where through a chain of well disguised logical fallacies and misrepresented data you'll come to the conclusion that dark-elves are a man-stealing, matango-sympathizing, mud-skinned breed whose sole purpose is to bring civil, economic, and ecological disruption to the woodlands, in order to rekindle the fire in the elves' crusade all so I won't have to turn in my paper on the analysis of major events in diplomatic history of the last century to my boring dark-elf history teacher next week?

<blue>As the good brother you are you decide to aid your sickly imouto in her quest. To do this you start by:</blue>

Seeing your sister sick in bed, you decide a great way to warm her up would be to brush her teeth, so you leave the room to go get her brush and some Colgate toothpaste.

When you come back in the room, your sister stares at you confused.

"Onii-chan shouldn't you b-"

Before she can finish her sentence you take a seat on her bed, press the button on her toothbrush to get it to vibrate and slowly put one hand on her shoulder and the other holding the toothbrush, inside her mouth, starting by slowly caressing her gums.

You move the brush side to side, making sure not to press too hard. That'd cause gum damage, which would make it difficult for her to eat without getting an infection, and lord knows, your sister has enough problems with illness already.

As you move the brush to her molars, she tries to say "Oniii-shan, wuuh?", to which you just pat her shoulders, and tell her it's what's best for her.

As she's kept her mouth open for nearly a minute now you can start to feel her warm breaths against your face, and drool starting to drip on your fingers.

You figure that's enough for now and go to clean her brush. She follows you to the bathroom to spit out the residual toothpaste and drool accumulated over time, with a rare blush on her cheeks.

It seems brushing did help a bit in warming her up afterall.

My internet has decided to be really choppy right now. Don't expect quick replies.

After brushing your sister's teeth, you decide to get to the root of the problem and go talk to her teacher. You take the local hearse and head to your sister's school.

>>47888
>>47939

In the hearse, you go on google to look up some infographs describing the correlation between dark-elf population and deforestation. You doctor it a bit using GIMP then post your results on an Elven anime imageboard calling dark-elves a shit that no one would ever waifu. You'll check up on how the results of this do later, but you're sure it should be enough to start something. Dark-elves are a prideful bunch after all.

After you arrive at the school you realize you don't know the teacher's name.

The school grounds are pretty big and as an all girls's school, you've never had much reason to spend ample amounts of time. You figure that you'd just wander around until you find and elf, and perhaps by one twist of fate, you'd encounter your sister's teacher. Or at least someone who'd know where to find that teacher.

After entering the school courtyard, you promptly encounter an elf. Not a dark-skinned variant unfortunately, but even a fair skinned one should be sensitive to those of her kind.

As elvenkind are quick to notice changes in the environment, she spots you, and looks at you with confusion.

With some noticeable caution on her face she says: "You're not a student here."

"Right, about that. You see, my sister Zombimouto is a 3rd year student here. She's out sick with a flu and asked me to talk to one of her teachers for her."

She still has some suspision in her eyes, but you continue on.

"Would you happen to know any dark-elf faculty members? Absentmindedly I forgot to ask what classroom to look for."

She frowns, and mutters, "A dark elf? Tch, there's only one of their kind as a teacher on this campus, Ms. Venmyar. She's in room 3-3."

You perceptively catch her disdain, and add on, "What was the chairman thinking when he hired a dark-elf as an instructor. Doesn't he know those mudskins can barely even keep themselves walking upright? You know that documentary, 'Where the Leaves Gather' by Svensen? The one that covers the prosperity of the dark elve clans?

Figure what? I talked to the guy a few weeks back. Happened to run into him at a mall. The guy was totally plastered. Know what he said to me?

The entire thing was a sham. I got it out of his mouth directly. The minister of foreign affairs paid him bank to make a fake documentary on dark-elves.

That treaty they signed with your folk. The one telling them not to hunt in the woodlands? They break that on a near daily basis. And they think you guys too stupid to ever find out."

When you say this, the melody she's playing turns dissonant.

Her eyes turn dark, and she glares at you.

"Say that again."

You didn't think she'd react that well to what you said.

"Hmm? The dark-elves, they're hunting the wildlife you guys raise. You really didn't know?"

It looks like you might have struck gold here.

"Your father?"

After a moment of hesitation, she states, "My father is an elder in the Sylphyra clan. He stuck up for the dark elves, citing their behaviour in recent years has improved. The air of the forest has been clearer than it's ever been before he said."

You smirk on the inside, but put on a frown and start to shake your head, "It's a shame things turned out this way."

You grasp her shoulders, and stare into her eyes saying, "I know your people have to come to a tough decision. One that might not be easy to clean, but in light of the facts, one that is necessary."

She sighs. "Indeed, I'd hate to break my father's heart like this, but it's necessary.

Did you know we spend over 10% of our annual finances on preserving the wildlife in the woodlands?

It's like they're inten-"

Her eyes open wide open.

"Oh gods, they're trying to attack our funds directly."

She takes off immediately and turns back shouting, "You, come to the Sylphyra clan later, I need you as a witness."

Maybe you'll head to the Sylphyra clan, but your original intention in coming to the school was to talk to Ms. Venmyar, your sister's teacher.

It takes you a while, but you do manage to navigate your way up to room 3-3. As a gentleman, you decide to knock on the door first then enter the room. Too the best of your abilities, you always try to inform people of your visits.

As it is still within operating hours, class is still in session. You have some thirty odd students looking at you with a bit of confusion, as it is an all-girls school and you don't seem to be any teacher they remember.

Ms. Venmyar calls out to you, "Excuse me, you are?"

"Zombimouto's older brother. I'm here to speak to you on her behalf."

Ms. Venmyar, still not entirely sure about the reason of your visit, replies, "Well, we're having an important discussion on the effects of the trade embargos placed upon the Draconians two hundred years ago. Could you come back after class is over?"

Class won't be over for another thirty minutes

"I apologize (hold the bile down) but I wish to quickly conclude my business and get back to my sister who's lying quite ill in bed. Please understand she might be alright, but I am her brother and we just get all nervous about our cute little sister's ya know?"
>>

The dark elf is probably trying to spew lies to her own class
>>

You decide that you'll wait for class to be over before having a conversation with Ms. Venmyar.

You let out a long yawn before replying to her. "Ya, I'll just wait around."

You head to the only empty seat in the room, presumably your sisters. While doing so the entire classes attention is focused on you.

As Ms. Venmyar figured, it'd be more awkward for you to just stand outside for half an hour, she refrains on commenting on your action just now, and decides to continue her lesson.

"Right, the Draconian Embargo of 1816. Like I said before, the prime minister of the United Federation at the time, Louis Karthenway and the Emperor of the Draconian Empire, Salazar VII, had a heated back and forth after the War.

Although the Draconian Empire had fought off all of their invaders, this required them to utilize a scorched earth tactic. Having burnt away all of their supplies, and one of the harshest winters coming in, Salazar knew he had to obtain resources somehow, especially as a cold blooded race."

>cont.
>>
>>48658
Clearing your throat you respond, "But that's clearly incorrect. How could the Draconians possibly have known that there would be a harsh winter. They were an isolationist state at the time, and they especially didn't have good relationships with the yuki onnas."

The faces in the classroom were all stunned. How indeed would they know anything about an uncertain future?

With a slight bitterness, Ms. Venmyar acknowledged, "Indeed, they didn't have close ties with the yuki onna tribes; however, the ryuu can foretell weather."

"But the only known ryuu then was in hermitude, removing herself from the secular world, and it's very unlikely that another holy woman decided to show up right then."

Point by point, you continued to break down Ms. Venmyar's lecture until she just couldn't stand it anymore.

BANG! Slamming her hands onto her desk, she refused to have anymore of this.

She roared, "Class is dismissed. Apparently Mr. Zombimouto has something he'd like to say to me so badly he needs to ruin my classtime."

Sorry, but it's been a long time since I've written anything. I thought it'd take less time, but I'll have to finish this tomorrow.

You hear students whispering as they start packing up and preparing to leave.

"Hey, do you think Ms. Venmyar is really wrong about all that stuff?"
"Shhhhh. Quiet! Don't let her hear you. We'll be in for hell tomorrow if she hears that." She takes a slight pause before, lowering her voice, "Probably though right?"
The other student starts giggling.

Hearing that you just couldn't let a chance to show to these promising young students how unqualified Ms. Venmyar truly was.

You get up from your seat and clap. With that motion, you were able to catch the entire classrooms attention.

After taking a deep breath, you give a faint smile, calmly saying, "Students, please remain seated. With our nations test scores ranking so low compared to those of other countries, it is of the utmost importance that you receive the best opportunities available to you in the classroom. You know, research indicates that a high-quality education for all helps promote equality and helps keep balance in a well-functioning country. One of the core tenets of the Federation is allowing all a fair chance to be successful. And tuition isn't really that cheap here either.

Now if you don't mind, there's still ten minutes left of class. To just waste this time, it'd be immoral wouldn't it?"

As you walk up to the front of the classroom, the class is in complete silence.

"Ms. Venmyar, if you wouldn't mind moving over, I'd like to take this last stretch of class to help the students understand the patterns found in the Draconian colonies after the embargo."

Ms. Venmyar was at a loss for words. She had never encountered a situation like this before. If you wanted to talk to her, why would you purposely go out of your way to extend the lecture? Not knowing what you were up to, she could only acquiesce to your demand.

"Ahem, you see, analyzing networks usuall involves detecting groups of tightly connected nodes known as communities, and searching for interesting patterns in the network. These patterns are small subgraphs, which can be ..."

A bell rings, indicating ten minutes have passed, and the end of the school day.

You give a slight nod of head to the students. With great sincerity you add, "I hope you enjoyed this special lesson on pattern analysis. If you examine you daily lives you might even be able to put these strategies to good use. It was an honor to be able to teach you today. Thank you for taking good care of my sister."

The students slowly make their way out of the room, some even sneaking what seems to be an admiring glance at you. Of course, not all seemed happy that you held up class for ten minutes, but what could you do about that?

You and Ms. Venmyar are now alone in the classroom.

Before any of this starts, you need to record the conversation.

After sneakily hitting your recording app, you turn to face her, with a smile creeping up on your face, "Now then, Ms. Venmyar".

Ms. Venmyar freezes. She doesn't really know what to expect from you, but from the last thirty minutes, you seem to have been hostile towards her. She takes a cautionary step back and holding a pen behind her back.

You clasp your hands together, and look her straight in the eye. With a hint of nervousness, you say, "I'm really sorry. I don't know what came over me. It's just I really do believe in giving others a quality education."

There's an awkward air in the room.

She lets out a deep sigh, with a look of understanding she acknowledges, "That's... understandable. I do try my best, but exact dates and things like that do slip from my memory sometimes. Remembering all this stuff it's not the easiest you know? Well, I guess it might be different for you, but for near minimum wage? It's not something I do for fun."

She puts down the pen and offers you her hand, "Yao, you can call me Yao."

You take it and reply, "Ren."

The two of you become much more relaxed, and she decides to take a seat in her chair.

"You mentioned coming on behalf of your sister?"

"Right, my sister is quite sick in bed. Fever, severe cough, nausea, you know, the works. She can barely stay up for more than 5 hours a day. It's a real tragedy. And, she's having a real rough time trying to finish up that history paper you assigned her."

She takes a second to process this, turning her head at you and giving you a strange look.

With a sly smile, she smugly retorts, "Oh? I'd be guessing with you as her brother she'd be able to finish up that essay in less than an hour."

You lower your head and wave your hands in defeat, "It'd help if she could stay awake longer, but she seems to just fall asleep everytime I start talking about history. I can't do anything about it."

Yao laughs, and replies, "I get that too. Alright, I can give her an extra week, just make sure she's the one that writes it, ok?

Can I help you with anything else? If you'd like to come in to guest lecture sometimes, it'd be great for me. Tell me in advance though next time."

You take a look around to see if anyone's watching before responding.

You nod your head, and in a low voice say, "Actually, I've heard a rumor. My sister and I, our mother used to teach us about foreign affairs when we were growing up. She's a Lich and a powerful one at that. She's taken a hands off approach recently, but she's still a researcher in the army. Once in a while, messages come down from the grapevine. A few nights ago, we were having dinner and she mentioned that the woodelves might be considering breaking their treaty with your kind. I know you take good care of my sister, so I had to come tell you this. Just in case something happens you know."

>cont.

Yao's face turned pale. "That's. That's impossible."

You remain silent.

Hearing your words, Yaos’s body quivered with anger. "I can't believe it. How dare they? They act all high and mighty, but deep down they're despicable."

"They act like real saints don't they? If only I could capture one of them and expose their true nature. We undead and you dark-elves are pretty similar, both getting the short end of the stick."

With a vengeful glare, she mutters, "Pure? Saintly? Bullshit. If you caught one you'd find out their kind are completely loose. Take them where no ones looking and they completely change. Even if you beat them, they'd probably still get wet. But what's the point, just cut their throat and toss them into the abyss where they belong."

She gets up, and says, "Thanks. I have to go tell this to my clan ASAP. You may have saved us."

You stop your recording app and enter her number into your phone.

You decide that's enough adventure for today, you have to get back to your sister, making sure she's ok, so you take the hearse service back home. On the way, you decide to check out how your thread is going on the Elven anime imageboard. Half of the posts are something along the lines of "you're waifu a shit." Whether or not it was successful is questionable. Well, you can't really count on that imageboard to do much more than devolve into shitposting and waifu wars anyways.

Once home, you head to your sister's room. You knock and then push the door slowly. The lights are off. She must be asleep. You reach to pat her head and feel that she's burning up. You head to the bathroom and grab a washcloth and fill a basin up with water. You undress your sister and wipe her down, trying to keep your calm as you admire her figure. You've done it before, and you'll likely do it again, but to your shame, the sight of her body excites you. You clear your head and dress your sister. Before leaving you give her a cheek on the forehead.

As you leave the room you hear her whisper,

"Thanks onii-chan, I'm not cold anymore."
