Previous Thread: http://boards.4chan.org/qst/thread/373063/nazi-experimental-quest-5#top

Last time on NEQ, we became an edgelord, then renounced our edgelord ways, and our pretzel abilities. Then we hijacked a train, leaving no survivors, besides 150 newly recruited werewolves, declared ourselves of Western Poland, and are about to be sieged by the Soviets for half a year.
So, right now we're talking to Adrian, the leader of the Democratic Party of Poland, which is an underground organization, which may or may not coup if we piss them off enough.

Right now, you've just talked to your dad about Adrian, and you've gotta decide what to do with him. Right now, you're taking a lunch break.

>...You should probably infect him into a good, honest werewolf. (Agility)
>No, no. Talk to him, see if you can't see if you can't do something to get them on your side so they'll help you out during the siege.

I don't even know where the edginess came from. I don't think the edginess knew either, or it just... Didn't care.
But yeah, you got better.
>>
You decide to go back to talking to him.

"So, is there any way for me to get you on my side during the siege?"

"Well, if you want my guaranteed support, elections would be nice. However, I would be willing to work with a system where more important jobs, such as police chiefs, governors, are elected by the people, for the people."

"...Hm. What if I don't implement this?"

"Well, I can't say where it will go, to be certain. Only that there may be consequences in the future of the nation."

Actions.

>...I am willing to accept elections.
>I'll be willing to have a undercouncil of elected representatives from the populace.
>The idea about having the populace vote for positions such as governors, chiefs of police, and other positions is a good one. I accept.

"Good... Good. Now, as you know, the Soviets are coming, and in the vested interest of the nation, I will... For a temporary time, grant you the ability to command my men into battle. Just return them home safe, alright?"

"...How many of these men?"

"About five-thousand militia, armed and trained."

In a city of 25,000, that's an impressive number.

"...I suppose it's a deal. You institute that, and my militia will follow you into battle."

"It's a deal."

He puts his hand out in a handshake... You could accept it, or not.

Alright, you start appointing...

With that done, a month passes.

The snow is starting to go away, and it's early spring... That's when the first tank is spotted in the horizons. You order everybody to arms, and you start deploying your army.

You have no defense against tanks or aircraft in the slightest. You don't know if the enemy general, Zhukov knows this yet.
Zhukov is encircling your city.

Deploy your units on the map.

>Sturmgrenaiders
>Volksgrenaiders
>Conscripts
>Capitalist Militia (5,000 Men)
>Loyalist Militia(1000 Men, 380 Werewolves)

Also, deploy the following commanders... Or you can just leave them in the Command Bunker.

Failure!

Your men react slowly, and the enemy forces have appeared.

To the south, a large band of conscripts are marching in parade formation, no doubt expecting a walk in the park... Meanwhile, to the north, Engineers and Conscripts have been seen moving in, also in a familiar position... A while to the West, an artillery position has been set up, and to the east, more conscripts.

Zhukov seems to be testing your defenses...

You are commanding the battle in the bunker, though at any time you can leave to personally take care of a problem... Or send a commander.

Actions.

>Trigger the ambushes against the damned Soviets! (Intelligence)
>Send your Stormgrenadiers to take care of the artillery position across the river.

Great Success!

Your ambush proves successful... Dozens upon dozens of conscripts are mowed down by your machine gun positions, which blaze to life in an instant, and the lycanthropes streaming out of houses to fight them does little to improve their morale, and the first wave breaks away. The engineers narrowly avoid engagement, and break away... Your men give a cheer as the first wave is driven off, but the encirclement grows tighter, surrounding the city, and cutting off access to the river. A few days later, it seems Zhukov realized his mistake, sending in conscripts in close quarters, and has ordered an artillery bombardment on the city to soften it up, along with sending a few bombers to... Well, drop bombs.

You have no real way to counter the enemy's inherit aerial advantage, and therefor, you must take out the enemy artillery... Or turn their anti-air against them.

Actions.

>You should send a commander to take out the artillery, and to turn the anti-air against itself. You could go personally, but you'd run a huge risk of being detected. (Specify who to send)

Critical Underwhelming Failure!

You decide to send everyone out to take care of the artillery.
As soon as you step four feet out of the city, an artillery barrage descend upon you, machine gun fire, snipers, and other enemies fire at you. Luckily the barrage helped hide you.
Zhukov is a damned good general if he predicted this. You can't see any of your commanders.

Actions.

"What the fuck is even happening?"

13+3=16

Good Success!

The tank rams head on, and a shell goes straight through the pilot seat, nearly hitting the conscript, who ducks in time to avoid the shell. You climb out of the tank, and begin to try to pry up the tank's hatch.

Critical Overwhelming Success!

You hop onto their tank, and rip off the hatch with your teeth, and toss it aside. You glare down into it, and the tank crew puts their hands up in surrender.

Actions.

"Come on, get out!"

The men in the tank nod their heads and start climbing out. They flee into the forest, terrified of you.

You hop back into the tank, and continue on... You eventually come to the river, and... Well, unless you want to have your tank destroyed, you've got to... Swim across.
You've never learned how to swim. This may be a problem. The water looks like it's moving quite fast, and is headed downhill...

Actions.

Good Success!

You judge that this is in fact, not rapids. The water just is going fast because it's downhill... You should probably find a way to cross.

Your tank barely makes it across, and you get out. It slides back into the water... You feel a little bad, and you continue on to the artillery location... Eventually you arrive, and there are no guards, and most of the soldiers are asleep. What do?

You roar, scaring a few of them out of their sleeping bags and tents.

Minor Failure!

You realize you've never been trained on how to fire an Russian howitzer, and... Well, you don't want to touch anything. It might explode on you, after all... But you have a few ideas.

>Pull the strange lever...
>What does that hatch do?
>...Punch the howitzer, maybe the kinetic energy might cause a button to be pressed and fire? (Strength, HARD)
>...Uh... Pull the lever?
>Flip a switch?

You ask the Russian if he knows how to fire.

"Just... Uh... Press the button with tape on it, I guess. It's probably the most used."

>Pull the strange lever...
>What does that hatch do?
>...Punch the howitzer, maybe the kinetic energy might cause a button to be pressed and fire? (Strength, HARD)

"Hey, why don't you show your loyalty to the pack by pressing the button?"

"Uh... Alright, I guess."

He goes up to press the button, he looks at you.

"I-I don't want to do it."

"Be a man, press the button."

He presses the button, which breaks off and a howitizer shell falls out of the hatch. He cowardly moves to protect his face and groin in one go.

Well, you know what button causes the hatch to open, at the least.

Actions.

>Pull the strange lever...
>Close the hatch.
>Put a howitzer shell in, of the gas variety.
>...Punch the howitzer, maybe the kinetic energy might cause a button to be pressed and fire? (Strength, HARD)

>>
You order the russian to put a howitzer shell in, of the gas variety and to pull the normal-looking lever. You see the howitzer fire a massive amount of smoke. You realize you forgot to close the hatch, and the conscript is coughing, and has narrowly fled from the poison gas. It takes a few minutes, but eventually he gets back up, tears formed in his eyes from the gas he narrowly avoided his death from.

It seems the shell didn't get too far, because you did not close the hatch.

Actions.

>Pull the strange lever...
>Close the hatch.
>...You need to figure out how far away the encampment is... Try to find some binoculars.
>Put a howitzer shell in, of the gas variety.

Good Success!

You find a locked wooden box, and smash it with your foot. You find a pair binoculars... Which fit a little weirdly, but you use them to judge the distance... You think you have enough knowledge on how to fire the howitizer, and begin to shatter their skies!

Great Success!

The camp is plunged into chaos as gas rounds strike them in their sleep, and kill quite a few of them... Of course, the alarm is raised, and you realize that it may be a little hard to get back. Why?

First off, you can't really get across the river unless you want to swim, number two the camp is looking for you, and number three... Well, it's going to be somewhat hard to get back without getting shot.

And that's where I'm going to end it for tonight. Tomorrow I'll be doing EDQ.
