General Civ. Stats - http://pastebin.com/B4bgBxNn
Military Stats - http://pastebin.com/K5ydbEM8

It is the year 1568.

You, the players, are in control of the great nation of Valornia, a state founded by the Skorupi and the Yanma and has now, through politics and conquest, blobbed the northern half of Root Island, which is starting to be called "Ostrov of Srdnatosti" or Isle of Valor by the populace. Own the whole island and it will be renamed offically.

Currently, Valornia is engaged in the Haven Coalition War and with some sabotage, you've knocked most of your enemies allies out of the picture, leaving just the Kingdom of Zureis and a weak duchy, the Duchy of Mordans. Now you and your allies have invaded the northern parts of Haven Island, more to the point Zureis, in a bid to defeat them only to find demons amongst their soldiers. Something foul is truly afoot

The last thing that happened, >>367998, The 2nd army has just caused an avalanche in the northern province of the Galliem Order, killing off a good portion of the Zureisian element and warding off the rest.

And here is the most current map of "Root Island" or ""Ostrov of Srdnatosti".

Pretty much the only independent group left is the Nuzleaf. Karovia is a business part of sorts and Becari is basically a vassal state in everything but the name. Vulpix are vassals of the Becarians.
>>
>>369096
Assimilate or combine with the Becari.

If this is impossible, find out to make it possible.

Caveat: Only do it after the Becari absorbe the vulepix. have they started that yet?

If not, encourage them to assimilate the vulpix.
>>
>>369110
To combine with the Becari, one of two things must happen, the current king Alexandry must die and have no heir, thereby giving Valornia rights to inherit the kingdom, which is not a 100% plan or to do full vassalization on Becari but anger Karovia in the process and wait a year to then integrate them.

The Becairians have yet to integrate but with prodding, will do so. This would take up the only political slot you have.

Which is occupied at the moment.

I should mention the fact that slots may be added by building certain buildings. For the case of POLITCAL slots, it would be building MINISTRY BUILDINGS. Each one would cost 100k KYR to offset the incredible use. The other buildings for curiosity:

MILITARY - MILITARY BASE - costs 100k
SOCIAL - UNIVERSITY - costs 100k
TECH - WORKSHOPS - increases by 2 instead, costs 200k KYR.
TRADE (Not implemented yet, Steam Age will bring in an overhaul).

The idea of something to boil water for steam efficiently is being worked on by several different companies, all wanting to be the first to produce hot water at a low cost to the people of Valornia- for a cost obviously.

With Biology majors now a thing since the most recent PH.D class graduation has happened in Jakoelfton University, the study of genes of Pokemon is becoming a hot subject indeed. Something may come out of this.

Valornian diplomats decide to "encourage" Becari to integrate the Vulpix lands into their fold. This will take a short time but won't be a problem.

Zebstrika have been domesticated- mostly for transport use, like carriages and carts and for use to tow plows in fields.
==-=---==-=
Sociologists from Jakoelfton Univesity have been studying homelessness and unemployment in the largest cities: Jakoelfton, Chrabrost, Reka West, and Reka Chrabrost. It's been noted that programs that get the unemployed and homeless building housing, by getting them hired by private firms and chartering new housing to house the previous homeless. They hope this would solve problems, bolster the economy and increase the amount of available housing in the major cities. For now, a trial has been started in Jakoelfton- housing will now be being built automatically at 3 per round for 10 rounds.

It has been found that Karovians find that while the Valorians are something to be feared, they know that they are a patient people, determined to see peace over war considering how they plan for a long time before they conquest... it might be because of how delayed the response on the ultimatum on the Spinarak that may be influencing this idea. The government on the other hand, distrusts the Valornian government- knowing full well that they wish to have the whole island for themselves, no matter the cost.

You send provocateurs to spread the idea of "the Ostrov of Srdnatosti", the Isle of Valor. A united Root Island under the banner of Valornia.

The idea of Justice is a complex concept. When the country started out, most arrestees went straight to prison with no chance to speak their piece for a set period of time depending on the crime. The problem with this is that the stigma of being a former prisoner does not bode well in daily life outside. A rousing call for change in the system has lead to numerous ideas that will be trialed and implemented depending on how well they do.

There are some Pokemon who wish to soar like their Flying-type friends and while being carried or being floated up by a Psychic-type is something of a slight solution, it isn't a true flying experience. Some wish to be able to fly under their own power, or at least glide for a bit.

=-=-=-=-=
The survey on how most religion see Arceus is quite varied. Sub-denominations like Dialgism and Palkism sees him in great light. On the other hand, Mewism asserts that the Goddess of Pokemon, Mew, is the true god above all and should be worshiped accordingly.

On the idea of Yveltal, the Being of Death, most think of him a just a mere ferry-man, bringing the dead to the after-life. So the news of him bringing demons to the mortal realm and trying to betray Arceus' work and subverting the living comes as quite the shock. Most are horrified at the news and testimony given by survivors of the demons.

BUILD-UP ON THE BORDER

While relation between you and Karovia have been decent, the Nuzleaf must have said something wrong or insulted their king since rumors from traders that go between the nations have noticed the military build-up on the border between the Nuzleaf lands and Karovia.

Will you intervene or will stay out? Additionally, you can make a claim on their lands yourself so Karovia reacts accordingly but the Nuzleaf may not like this.
>>
>>371950

Is the military slot open?

Use the political slot to integrate the Becari, let them fight their own war.

Or We could try to secretly assassinate someone in the Nuzleaf lands, so the nuclear attack us and Karovia, bringing Karovia closer into our fold while giving us reason to occupy the Nuzleaf. We could also say they assassinated someone important on our side, giving more reason
.
>>
>>371983
we cant integrate the becari without the king dying first and or angering them.
the other idea could work, but the nuzleaf are tribal. is anyone going to believe this? we also dont want karovia fighting nuzleaf cause they could take them over
>>
>>371968

You send diplomats to both sides about the military tension.

The Karovian's statement is this:

The Nuzleaf have dared to claim that Karovia is weak for letting you push everyone around. Even in the past, when Valornia was just the Skorupi-Yanma Tribe, they have done what they please with no hinderance at all from them. The Karovian king, Krystiana Kaczka, is absolutely furious and has decreed that the Nuzleaf must be taught a lesson at the cost of their land- knowing full well this would bring tensions with Valornia.

The Nuzleaf statement is this:

They see Karovia as weak state that cannot compete with you militarily, economically, culturally and technologically and just sit back and do nothing about this. They are hedging that they can defeat Karovia unaided with nothing more than sword, shield and trickery. They do not wish for your help and see Valornia as a land that has forsaken the earth and the gods, its monsters becoming complacent at the new world they made for themselves, becoming weaker and weaker than their wild/feral counterparts.

>>371978
You recruit 6 more GI, equipping them with Brigandines. This will cost 12,000 KYR and take 2 rounds.

You recruit 2 Artillery, with Brigandines, BC1 and Goggles (Yes they do help aim, it's something that will be touched on after the Steam Age Overhaul. So much is planned.)

>>371983
Yes, the military slot is open. --- means nothing assigned. Although, now two things are now assigned.

As >>372000 said, you cannot just integrate the Becari as they are still technically a separate state, despite the fact Valornia is pulling the strings. You could assassinate the current king but he is Oliver's uncle- would he actually let it happen? Actually, most likely considering the era.

>>371983
>>372000
Assassination are a hit or miss type of thing, depending on the conditions, the roll success chance may change and the die size may as well.

When you choose to assassinate someone, three things need to be chosen: method of execution, time and place. For example, knife to the heart in the middle of the night in the king's bedroom. A scenario like that would be a 50% chance of succeeding because, the base is always 20%, night killing adds 30%, silent death adds another 20% but an infiltration in a secure area or heavily guarded area, like a castle, would take out 20%, leaving only a 50%. The die size varies on the size of the country. Something like Karovia or Becari would be a d20 but something like Kalisia or Scanio-Taska would be d50. A massive kingdom like Laronn would be a full d100.

There is a lot of math behind the scenes. I don't just assign random numbers everywhere and let that fly- it bothers me when someone just wings the math.

I see the Nuzlear as a Afganistan type deal, as a primitive nation that can defend itself very affectively. Maybe we could bring them in, offering them a lot of autonomy and stating they can stay how they are, as long as we are allowed trade movement etc.

We.could probably take karovia pretty quickly....
Could we roll to subtly assassinate the king? Maybe he gets sick or has a "hunting accident"
>>
>>372123
>can we set up a settlement in the (our) forest and have it populated by pokemon that wish to live in communion in nature

You may. You may only have one major city per province but there's no clause about minor ones which is why I usually make the little flavor text of little towns and villages along major roads.

>-political:establish a battle league wherein hotblooded 'mons can battle and improve their skills, hopefully fostering a combat heritage within our ppl (sports+nonlethal gladiatorship)

This order would be considered a SOCIAL order.

>>372131
Becari can only be integrated if they were a vassal state, not a puppet state. You can force vassalization using a POLITICAL slot but will anger Karovia or let nature take its course and hope the king doesn't get a child, leaving the throne claimable by Oliver Řeznicek.

You can subtly assassinate the king but as I said, need the three key elements: Execution Method, Time and Place.

Forgot all about this.

Some ingenious inventors in Mlýn Plaza have invented a glider under the tutelage of Flying-types that can be used to glide from high points to areas far away.

Using the principles of breech-loading ammo and using center-fire cartridges, the Hustovi Arms Company have made, commissioned by the Valornian Military, the Láska-Stárek after the two designers of the rifle which looks like the one in the picture. The main cartridge fired is .577 Láska-Stárek, named after the rifle. I may or may not have taken inspiration from the Martini-Henry but it was an incredibly important step to modern rifles. It's no Lee-Enfield though.

The Láska-Stárek damage is 95 at 90% accuracy.

A justice system has been implemented on the basis of Guilty until proven Innocent using evidence and testimony from witnesses. Judges have final say and lawyers, defense and prosecution, fight against each other in a duel of words to either acquit or charge said defendant. This system is totally not Ace Attorney's or anything. It'll change over time but this is what it was like in the then. Sucked a lot.

Becari isn't an issue so that'll be left out.

For comparison, Valornia's total combined population is 39,235,000, which is half the modern UK at this point. Which is hilarious because at the start of the 1800s, UK only had 16,000,000. Pokemon breed fast.

Karovia has a population of around 5,000,000. Army is around half the strength of Valornia's. Navy is weaker than that.

The Nuzleaf number around 800k. Army is around the size of Karovia's however and they have no formal navy.

It would be an interesting fight considering terrain wise, it's all dense forest by the coast and mountains inlands.
>>
>>372088
Sadly for the nuzleaf, this ultimately didn't work out for Mayans, Aztecs, and Native Americans in real world history. Then again, they're from the same continent, so there wouldn't be any initial surprise from enemy technology, diseases they've never encountered, and they'll likely adopt the enemy tech earlier like natives did with horses and guns.

Considering the Mayans, Aztec and Native Americans had no clue about the Europeans at all and how their weapons worked for the most part, it was fairly one sided but the Nuzleaf are right next door and always have been. As you said, they have a good chance if the war starts of being able to fight back.

>>372326
Valornia is a peaceful landscape at most times but during the spring months, the weather becomes some of the worst- able to knock down trees, flood farmlands, create dangerous rivers and lightning strikes scaring the populace. Some brave Pokemon decide to study this weather and see what makes the weather in the world tick.

As Trade grows larger and more lucrative for the state, the notion of abuse, corruption, smuggling and extortion comes to mind in some of the heads in the Ministries. A few of the ministers come together to write a set of trade law and form the basis of what a trader can and cannot do and what one will face if they choose to break the law.

The Exploration Guild has been established in the main port city of Chrabrost, attracting people across not just Valornia, but the entire island in the chance to explore the world. Once in a while, maps may be made or drawn up, showing new parts of the world that have been explored.

The idea of unifying the island under one banner has been spread throughout the island, mostly in Karovia and in the Nuzleaf lands- the only lands that are autonomous from Valornia. This will certainly make both states more susceptible to being overtaken by Valornia.

Which province would like to create a new city?

=--=--=
The Grandmaster of the Holy Order of Azelf, Kveta Sokol, has been trying, with failure, to amend the religion to include Azelf's siblings in all proceedings and while Azelf herself may approve of this, the populace, and more annoyingly, the order man themselves, have resisted the idea of accepting Azelf's own siblings in worship. She asks for assistance in trying to change the church worship from the government, since asking Azelf, who's the standing Archbishop for the time being, did not help. A quick survey was decided to be done to find why exactly the populace does not wish to accept Azelf's own siblings for worship. The greatest responses can be summed as followed:

- Azelf is the goddess who provides the country strength and stability. Praying for her sister's would weaken this.

- Uxie and Mesprit have done nothing for Valornia, why pray for them?

Both issues can be solved in one action but must be able to sway the populace. Azelf herself can make gainsay on this or summon her siblings to help as well if needed.

>>373667

The rising tension between the Nuzleaf and Karovia is a cause for some concern that fighting might spill over if the war starts. The military decides to press the Secret Guard to gather info of where the fighting may start.

While the ministers create laws that restrict traders in ways, they realize that this may dissuade them from trading in Valornia in the first place. They decide to add in laws that also protect Valornian businesses from many entities, to help quell a possible drain on business.

The 6 new GI and 2 new Artillery units are now available to be moved in Jakoelfton.

>I also feel that we (players+qm) forget about stuff too often

I do write things down but I tend to forget to either update the pastebin or write it in the posts.

>what are the designs we found in the sunken settlements?

The ones not researched are:

- Some sort of large machine with massive rear wheels and small front wheels and a large container in the middle with a furnace in the rear of it.
- An advanced explosion named "dynamite" but it seems hard to manufacture and the materials harder to procure with the provisions of today's world.
- A new large ship design, the Two-Decker. It must be properly researched to be built first.
- A strange gun design, which looks like it could shot more bullets than anything before it. Must be properly researched before it can be built.

>gotta remember stuff like different social policies and coastguard for example
Coast Guard is kinda low-key and minimally useful most of the time. The laws and acts and such have their own section now that I'll try to keep updated. Try.

>interrogate the zuresian prisoners and try to convert them, give the ones that already have as an example

The P.O.W's, having been shipped from Clifton to Pevnost Chrabrost are being interrogated on any info about Zureis while being asked/persuaded to convert to spiritualism.

>dissect the demon corpses
The military hands the corpes to the main hospital of Jakoelfton to dissect the corpses under military eye to see if there are any weakness they should know about or anything interesting about the bodies.

>ask azelf where her sisters are? what does she know about demons? are there holy counterparts?

Oliver decides to ask Azelf a couple of questions, Meeting with her at the cathedral, he asks where her siblings are.

She responds that Mesprit is most likely elsewhere in the world and Uxie is most likely on Haven Island. She can call them over whenever she wants but within reason. When asked about the demons, she responds that demons are one of two things:

-Pokemon that "signed" a contract with Yveltal to serve him with the promise of getting to go back to living in the mortal realm one day.
-Pokemon who die to demons and have their bodies taken by them. When demons kill a random mortal, they perform a technique called "stitching". Before their souls can leave for the afterlife properly, the demons seal them within their now dead bodies, forcing them to become demons themselves- a process which corrupts them.

She also notes that killing a demon doesn't really kill them, it just sends their soul back to the voidlands where Yveltal resides.

The question, "Is there a demonic counterpart?" leaves her quiet for a while before making a simple statement.

"I haven't been in contact with Xerneas for a while. I don't know."

You start developing up one of the towns in province 10, mostly forested, into a city. What shall the new city be called? This will be like building a building, it will be done next turn.

>what does each colored dot on the map represent? red are cities right?
Yes. The color dots are the where the resources are on the map. Copper is copper, white is iron, yellow is sulfur, black is oil and the gray-blue is coal. The dark blue dots on the map that are like towns are major forts.

>develop spotlights (fire)
The Coast Guard, wanting to be able to shine light on any unidentified boats, start developing a moveable spot of light that can shine for a good distance and light whatever its hitting.

>build a canal system in province 13, through roh kopec, connecting the river to the ocean
Sadly, the canals must be researched before they may be made.

>also forgot to say, change GI equipment to
brigandines/laska-starek/chvatal ball/bayonet/razor fang
Láska-Stárek only shoots .577 Láska-Stárek, which is a brass cartridge by the way. Good thing that brass workshop was made eh? Anyways, just wanted to make sure you knew this before I go through with the changes.

>give any replaced equipment to police/guards/coastguard or sell them to our allies
City Guard/Police and the Secret Guard are now given army surplus and are far more effective in doing their activities. As for selling it to your allies, you only have enough to sell to two countries, which two will you sell to?

Promoting the fact that Azelf's siblings are her equals and will not weaken her power or status while also stating that if one were to pray to them as well, they may support the motherland as well, has given the rise of acceptance the past month and a half. Noticing that some rivers can be utilized better extended and that areas would benefit from a waterway of some sort- some enterprising mon' have decided to see if it's feasible to create an artificial waterway of some sort to meet these needs.

Mail is an important pillar of society- bills, invitations, personal letters, bills, government accordance, summons, taxes and bills. Usually, one were to get mail at the town hall, civic center or city hall but it is highly inconvenient for those in the countryside and those who can't really spare the time to get mail, causing a lot of problems. A solution is to create a system to deliver mail using government funds to pay a number of private delivery services.

Some of the carnivorous recruits decided to test out cooking beef with incendiary powder of all things. It ended with a small pan fire and some third degree burns and incredibly charred meat.

Oliver goes to Azelf once more to ask her a different question based on recent studies.

"How does one go about controlling the weather?"

"Weather? I would never advise to try and bother but if you're willing to see at least how, you must contact either Kyogre, Groudon or Rayquaza."

"Who... are they?"

"The gods of weather. If you want to meet one of them, The Kaloa Mountains in central Rulona is where Rayquaza makes his roost, try sending someone there to contact him."

Considering the popularity of the battles, it's been formalized to make a central place for the league and naturally, the capital city made the most sense. The plans to create a large stadium to house the battles and possibly other events in the future. This will cost 15,000 KYR.

The budget is now 60,250 KYR.

The interrogation and conversion of the POWs has been successful. Most gave decent information while most have converted to Spritualism.

The best and most likely info to be believed is:

- The main army of Zureis consists of 23 Redcoats, 19 General Infantry, 17 Strikers, 14 Mechanists, 10 Buizel Marines, 8 Demon Troops, 8 SOUI, 7 General Air, 5 Pidgey Sharpshooters and 1 Arch-Demon Unit.

- Most of the Zureisian populace in the east is dead and have been forced to become demons.

- King Zural III is presumed AWOL by many in the military but the notion is noted to be treason. Officers state the king is fine, there is no worries about him.

- The citizens are tired of fighting and are on the brink of rebellion. The only thing holding them back is a lack of arms.

- There is rumored to be a way to purify a demon but it won't do much but dispel the corruption, making them normal... except for still being immortal. And being demons still. But at least they live their lives again hopefully.

You start research on the power of STEAM. This will take the max time- 10 rounds.

Immigration is something that hasn't be so common to really most kingdoms and empires in general. Most people tend to stay in one place considering the language barrier and how the world around is pretty much the same. But Valornia is different. Valornia is becoming quite the beacon for people to land and try to get a better life with large urban cities and large tracts of beautiful countryside to live in but yet Valornia has no formal law on immigration other than declaring upon port of entry. Hoping to rectify this and future-proof the issue, a measure is being drafted to mend this problem.

On the word of Azelf, Oliver sends an envoy to the Kaloa Mountain Range in Rulona, hoping that when they get back, they have met Rayquaza.

On the word of the POWs, the Secret Guard get a new mission that is sure to cause a lot of choas: incite a rebellion in Zureis. They will get the allowance to arm, train and support rebels and help them "reclaim their country"... for Valornia.

You start the training of four more Artillery units. Cost is 8000 KYR.

Budget is now 52,250 KYR.

Most of the armor is pointless- mostly the same as Valornia's.

Cannons as well- still Sakers. Which is pathetic compared to the BC1 or a Mortar.

Rifles is where it gets interesting. The Zureisians have a rifle known as the M170 Hannel-Core which is a bolt-action repeating rifle that shoots .45-70 cartridges. While stopping power is somewhat similar to the Láska-Stárek, the bolt-action system would be of great use to arms production.

The strange gun design has baffled scientists and military officers for some time but the intensive study has been declared as officially underway. The gun has plenty of the staple mechanisms that modern rifles have but the system used is fairly enigmatic. Once fully researched, understanding this system will vital in developing a new rifle.

>>381225

>things we forgot: the artificial bay, the (4?) artificial islands, rockets
The artificial bay has been done for some time but has no use as of yet. Battleships and Carriers, that's some serious future-proofing. The artificial islands were never in the works, just suggested to my memory and the rockets have been added to the pastebin as they've been finished for some time.

>political: send messengers to talk with the other coalition members and the neutral states of haven. Tell them of demons, how to combat them, ask how their countries have been doing/how's the war going. Can we expect reinforcements/the neutrals joining us?

Asking around for help in the war from your fellow coalition members, the south shore nations eagerly agree to come north to help considering the other nations they were fighting have. You tell them of the demons you have met and how to combat them if necessary and how the war is currently heading, with Valornia and allies winning left and right against the lonely Zureis. And some kingdom called Mordans.

The neutral nations are going to need to be given time for an answer on the war.

>how many troops do our allies armies have? how have their battles been so far? encounter anything interesting?
The ally armies are somewhat smaller than Valornia's but well armed. They have had some long battles but have won. The only concern is the latest battle involving Nordhalen and Kalisia. It's still a stalemate at the moment due to the sheer number of forces fighting.

>have our navies search the coast for more enemy ships

The Mechanists will fall back and out of the way along with the SOIU protecting them. The Demon Troops will be sitting back for now- an odd move to the Valornians.

Time for something a little different: accuracy rolls. Just testing for now but this element is to see how many shots actually get where their going.

Rolls are for Redcoats 90%, Infantry 75%, Marines 95% and Strikers 75% in that order. If under those numbers, the damage will be lowered by 20% each 10% below.
>>
>>383000
I was gonna ask a question how this worked but I kinda see now. So with rifles you need a 50%+ to hit. Rifles have a higher chance of doing more damage cause with lower accuracy guns, they dont do more even if you go above their accuracy %
>>
>>383017

>So with rifles you need a 50%+ to hit.

For full damage? Yes. But even below that, it still hits but for lower damage. I actually wrote the percentages wrong and the real numbers are 10% every 5 below, which makes more sense.

So a roll of 45, which is 5 under, the damage would be 10% less of 95 which is 85 damage. This way, every unit can have less HP but not die instantly. Now instead of 1500 HP per unit its 500 HP per unit which takes less rounds to kill off- which is likely to happen in war.

Damage stacks on all units like usual so a roll of 85 damage would hit all GI for example for 85 damage.

Makes items like Goggles and Shell Bell much more useful.

do 20% less damage.

The Strikers do 52 damage instead.

Marines and Infantry do normal damage.

Damn baby, I'm rocking this shit.

Rerolling anyway for the HECK of it.
>>
>Every roll that beats mine takes out 15% of the damage.

I keep using the old numbers- 5 damage per roll. You'll see why it's low.

>>383072
>>383043

6 Rolls defeat my rolls cutting all damage by 30 points.

Here comes the last important part- the defense numbers. All damage is subtracted by armor- if armor negates the damage then the unit does not get damaged.

Strikers hit Valornian Strikers and Scouts for 12 damage. Marines hit for 55 damage.

Strikers and Scouts 233/300 HP

Infantry hits Infantry and Skulls with 55 damage each.

Infantry and Skulls 245/300 HP

Now its Valornia's turn to go. General Air get double damage. Zureisian Mawile Mechanists cannot be attacked by infantry, will fight SOUI instead.

What do you all think of the new system? I think it makes it all more interesting and makes tactics like this really shine.
>>
>>383182
I think it should take into account terrain (a plus for being on higher ground for example) and unit sizes (ex:12 GIs vs 4 redcoats)
>what do we roll? I'm on mobile
>>
>>383995
>I think it should take into account terrain
I'll take that into consideration. So far, Valornia has only dealt with hills and one instance of a mountain pass.

>what do we roll? I'm on mobile
It's Valornia's turn to attack. Make an order first. Number of unit types that attack are how many are rolled for accuracy. (4 different units attacking = 4d100)
>>
Rolled 42, 68, 86, 72 = 268 (4d100)

So, I fell asleep before I got time to respond. Also, today will be the last day for this thread. It's been 5 days, I think I'll run this quest for about as long each thread from now on.

>>384901
The shells are done, just never wrote it down in the pastebin, again.

>I feel hp and damage should scale with the more units you have
Only a test run for this system of battling as I said. It'll hopefully be better and more comprehensive once the steam age rolls into view.

>>384944
Rolled 73, 35, 93, 89

All attacks hit their targets for normal damage. I see what you meant earlier about if they hit, the higher the accuracy, the more damage they should do.

Like before, Roll 10d100 roll must beat mine to do damage.

4 rolls get past. Damage is now down by 30.

The infantry and scouts return fire at the enemy infantry and Strikers, doing 65 and 35 damage respectively.

Artillery fire at all enemy Ground Units for 130 damage.

General Air flank the enemy Artillery, doing double damage, which comes out to 100 damage in total.

Redcoats - 170/300
Infantry - 70/300
Marines - 170/300
Mechanist - 20/250
Demons - 170/300
Strikers - -70/200
SOIU - 170/300

The Zureisians reel from the attack. They lose 4 Infantry, 3 Strikers and 3 Artillery units.

9 Roselia Redcoats
1 General Infantry
5 Buizel Marines
4 Mawile Mechanists
3 Demon Troops
2 Vibrava SOIU

The Artillery and Infantry decide to drop back and out of the way once more, knowing they're as good as dead now.

The Demon Troops decide to assault by charging at every ground infantry unit while the Recoats fire along with them. The SOIU decide to fight the GA while the Marines cover the retreating troops.

Battles have more rolls but are at least a little quicker. The two parts that need work are the number of units in battle along with HP- I'll probably make HP rise along with the number of units- and the 10d100 for defense/offense. I'm thinking of doing away with it and just doing it differently.

reply to this, sell the excess weapons to kalisia and nordhalen
>I know it's your roll now but still
-Infantry fire on the demon troops and redcoats, brace for a counter charge with their bayonets. Artillery continues to fire at redcoats. GA's engage SOIU's. scouts and strikers flank redcoats. (dont have enough other troops to fight the marines, scouts would get rekt. We'll allow them to run. We can just chase later.)

Its fine. The thread isn't going anywhere. Well, at least for today.

>reply to this, sell the excess weapons to kalisia and nordhalen

You choose to sell surplus weapons to Kalisia and Nordhalen, allowing them to recruit more units for less. This will allow them to send more force into battle.

---
After this battle, the 10d100 thing is going away for good. I did the math and all and we can suffice on the accuracy rolls alone. There's an insanely low chance in the real world where entire units don't get hit so instead there will be an accuracy scale based on 50% being normal damage. Does that sound fair?

Anyways, Rolling 10d100 for attack.

Only 1 roll gets past. I roll so poorly, it's a wonder how Valornia gets by so easily.

Damage has been reduced by 45 points. Due to armor the damage from the Redcoats and SOUI is negated while the Demon Troops do a mild 40 damage to all ground troops.

Strikers and Scouts 193/300 HP
Infantry and Skulls 205/300 HP

5 rolls beat my rolls, damage goes down by 25 across the board.

The Infantry fires on the Demon Troops and Redcoats, doing 55 damage.

Artillery also fires upon the Redcoats, making them redder and deadier than they were previously, doing an astounding 115 damage to them.

The General Air units decide to engage the SOIU's, doing a solid 40 damage to them.

Considering that the Redcoats are now disintegrated, the Scouts and Strikers are unable to flank them but aren't in trouble or anything.

All Redcoats are dead, 1 Demon Troop is now out and the SOIU loses another unit.

Without their lead units, or leaders, the rest of the Zureisian army starts to scatter and retreat besides the Demon Troops who hold their ground.

You may either kill the last remaining Demon unit or try to call Azelf to purify them.
>>
