You just stare at Fujiko for a second. You let everything that has happened to you sink in for a quick second. After you just dealt with your cute girlfriend's murderous side, her foster brother suddenly shows up. And to make it worse he is just as bad or even worst than Fujiko's murderous self.

However, you didn't want to risk Fujiko's life. For now, Fujiko is just a tiny bit more important to you than Aya. The risk to Aya is miniscule as long as you stay away from her. However, the risk from her foster brother was out of your control and that's the one you want to mitigate. "Fujiko, it's okay." You grab her hand and you put the knife in her hand yourself. "Right now... Right now we have more important things to take care of. Besides, I can never hate you. I can never ever in my life detest you so you don't have to worry about that."

Her eyes widen with surprise. However she was still hesitant. She still doesn't believe your words 100%. "But... But what if I accidentally kill Aya?" You knew that in order for her to believe your words, you had to show her just how devoted you were to her.

You loved Fujiko. It was only natural for it to take physical form. That was how you thought about it. However, you were soon put back to your senses when Fujiko's face suddenly shows pain. "Ouch..." Fujiko whispers to herself.

"Fujiko? Are you okay?" You push her back to get a better view of her, at least a better view than when you were embracing her tightly. Then, you hear something drop on the floor. Looking down, it was her knife. The tip of it was crimson with blood. You were reminded of her condition. The fact that every time she gets too excited, she becomes dangerous.

Immediately, you examine yourself. In that moment you were too excited to notice any one stabbing you, but your body was free from any holes made by Fujiko. "I-I'm okay." Fujiko answers while in pain. Then, you notice the source of the blood.

"W-What do you mean you are okay! Your left hand is bleeding!" Her left hand was covered in blood. Instead of hurting you when she lost control of herself, she redirected that to her own body.

"I'm okay Ryu, I promise." She tries to smile. "I... I just need to go to the hospital... That's all..."

"I'll take you there!" Your heart was racing. Your heart was in panic. Seeing Fujiko hurt was something you never thought you would see. "First we have to stop the bleeding..." Once you were able to slow the bleeding a bit, you head to the hospital with your girlfriend.

On your way there you kept apologizing to her. "I'm sorry Fujiko... If I didn't do that to you this would've never happened."

"Eh? Don't be... I was happy. I was happy you held me like that. I was so happy I didn't mind dying right then and there." She looks up to you, smiling through the pain in her left hand. "It was the first time you've held me like that and I will always remember it..." She rests her head on your shoulders. "Thanks for making me happy Ryu."

On your way to the hospital, you had a mix of emotions inside you. Happiness was one of them. Being close to the one you love should bring you happiness. Regret was another. You knew that Fujiko was hurt because of you. Fear was another emotion since the feeling of being watched hasn't gone away.

"Hey... Fujiko... Tell me about your brother. I want to know what we are dealing with here..."

"Hmm..." Fujiko starts to look deep in thought. "I guess I should start from the begginning..." Fujiko's story starts when she was taken away from her biological mother. "I've been so used to my mother that I never really knew what a real family looked like... I didn't know what 'love' was or how it felt like. That is until I met my first foster family."

Her first foster family was the perfect family you would see in TV or in movies. "My new mother was a housewife, and my new father was a doctor. I also had a new brother. For the first time I learned what a family should be." However after living with them for a while, Fujiko learned that not everything was as perfect as it seemed. At least with her brother. "He was really nice to me... He treated me like his treasure. He treated me like I was his prized posesssion." Fujiko smiles awkwardly. "I thought I was very lucky but little did I know, he treated me like that because he saw me as his possession."

Her older brother was quite older than her. He was in his third year of high school while Fujiko was in her first year of middle school. At that time, there was a lot of expectations on her older brother. The expectation to get into a good school, the expectation to follow his father's foosteps among many others. "I think it was crushing him... The pressure that is." Fujiko says with a sympathetic tone. "He said in his own words, he felt like just a doll or marrionnette being controlled by his parent's expectations..."

In a way, you felt sorry for her older brother. When Fujiko arrived in his life however, he could relieve that stress through her. Her older brother would play with Fujiko. He would talk to Fujiko about his stress and pressure. Most of all however, he was able to push his expectations on Fujiko. At first it would be harmless. He would buy her gifts and dresses using his allowance. He would pamper Fujiko with a lot of presents. In his eyes, Fujiko was his own little doll. He relieved his stress by doing what his parents were doing to him to Fujiko.

"I didn't mind it at first... It was the first time I felt affection after all..." However, things got worst and worst. His jealousy would smother Fujiko. Everytime a boy would approach Fujiko, her older brother would speak to the boy and the very next day, that same boy would start to ignore Fujiko. The ones who still kept talking to her would meet a very unfortunate 'accident' a few weeks later.

At first it was just them getting hurt, but her older brother really had a penchant for organizing these 'accidents'. "It escalated... Pretty soon I was afraid to make friends. I was afraid they would get killed." Fujiko takes a deep breath. "I tried to talk to him about it... I asked him to stop but..."

"But what?" You ask out of curiosity.

"But he told me that I don't need anybody else... That I just need Onii-sama and that was enough." Fujiko forces herself to smile. "He told me that I was his possession and his doll and that I should just obey him." It bothered Fujiko, but if Fujiko just stopped making friends then nobody would get hurt. So she just stopped trying to make friends to solve her issues.

With no one else but her brother to keep her company, she starts to develop her own idea of what 'love' is. She starts to take her brother's obsession with her as 'love'. "He taught me a lot of things... Even what to do when a guy gets close to me and tries to be intimate with me."

"E-Eh?!" All the weird parts about Fujiko, now you know where they came from. "Was he the one... Was he the one who taught you to kill?"

"Kill?" Fujiko shakes her head. "I wouldn't say so... He just taught me how to use a knife and when to use it. I was the one who enjoyed the feeling when I drive the knife into someone's flesh."

"Oh... I see..."

After about a year and a half however, Fujiko was way too smothered by her older brother's obsession. "I ran away from that house... When I was caught I was luckily put into a new home." From then on she has tried hiding from her older brother but now, she has been found.

"The way he kills is much different from me." Fujiko warns you. "I'm too stupid to think of elaborate schemes and plans like he does but Onii-sama is smart. He makes every death look like an accident so we have to be careful." Fujiko takes a deep breath. "I... I know this is probably asking for a lot... But tomorrow... Ryu, tomorrow can you postpone your plans to visit Aya? Let's just stay home okay?"

When Fujiko is treated (if asked we say she tripped while in the kitchen) we g to Aya/ try sneaking to Aya and explain the severity of the situation, using half-truths etc. to keep the uneasy parts a secret. Say sorry for not being able to come and we tell her that calling the police will probably only worsen the matter.

On the way back, ask Fujiko if she ever watched a movie called "Home Alone", then proceed into comedic montage of assembling deadly traps from whatever's at hand.

I'd say we shouldn't get Aya involved, so it's dangerous if the brother gets involved with people in our lives and not a safe time to leave Fujiko. We should basically tell Aya that an emergency comes up. Hopefully the tone of our voice will relate the seriousness since we're childhood friends.

Once you arrive at the hospital, she is taken into the emergency room right away. Thankfully, there wasn't that big of a line-up. She was in a room being treated as soon as you get there. The doctor looks up to you. "Are you coming in as well? Or do you want to stay in the emergency room waiting room?"

Fujiko looks over to you with a look that was begging for you to stay with her, but she didn't want to say anything to you. "I'm going to be okay Ryu, you can wait outside if you want to." She says with a smile.

"Hmm, then I'll wait for you outside." You tell Fujiko. As long as you were in the hospital you should be safe from her brother. Plus, you'll only separate from her for a few minutes, nothing more. Once she goes to the back to get her hand treated you head over to Aya's room.

"Excuse me." You whisper as you slowly open her door to go inside. Thankfully, Aya had a private room so you weren't disturbing anybody else other than your childhood friend. But that was also why you were incredibly surprised when you saw a handsome looking guy looking at your sleeping childhood friend. "W-Who the hell is this guy!? How did he get in here?!"

You look to your childhood friend, sleeping defenselessly, as this guy just stares at her. You couldn't help but watch, ready to pounce if he tries to do anything to Aya. However, that moment never came. He just stares, longingly at Aya's peaceful, sleeping face. Finally, you call out to him. "Hey, you there, what are you doing here? What are you doing with Aya?"

The young man gets surprised. "Ah! Sorry, I just heard she was sick since she didn't come to the support group... I wanted to see if she was doing okay." He smiles awkwardly towards you as he scratches the back of his head. It was clear that he had no ill intentions for Aya and that relieves you a bit. You also noticed the hospital band on his right wrist. He was also a patient at the hospital, just like Aya. "Are you... Are you Aya's boyfriend?" The young man asks you with a nervous tone.

"Nice to meet you Ryu." He gives you a smile that made you a bit jealous. Such a handsome face would certainly make any girl fall for him.

He starts to blush. "I just met Tachibana yesterday. I wouldn't call myself her friend yet." He was quite reserved and shy. He then looks over to your sleeping childhood friend again. "I would love to be her friend though... Well... I would love to be something more actually." Then his eyes light up as if he just got a great idea. "Hey... Ryu, is it okay if I ask you for a favour?"

"Favour?" You tilt your head like a confused puppy.

"Hmm... You said you were her best friend right? Is it okay... Is it okay if you help me get together with Tachibana?" His request was quite blunt and straightforward. So much so that it catches you off-guard. You also felt a pang as he asks you to help him make Aya his girlfriend.
