Premise: The Counsel Nation of Valornia is yours to lead through the ages in this world filled with Pokemon. Fight wars, talk politics, invent the new era of technology, advance culture and religion; it can all be done here.

Recap: Valornia joined the Haven Coalition War along side, Nordhalen, Kalisia, Albrinn and the Muinal Knights and the south shore duchies of Haven. Your army has landed in a deserted Kingdom of Arthubrook's main port of Clifton to find blood and demons. You army is now in the city of Redding and have encountered a Tyranitar demon there and the small group left to keep it distracted is about to lose a soldier but reinforcement has arrived in the nick of time.

You last left off with one of the soldiers get crushed to within an inch of his life by the demon. As the rest prepare to attack, reinforcements of around 500 soldiers with guns blessed by holy lake water.

Outnumbered and certainly out gunned, the demon is forced to surrender by the large force of soldiers but will he actually surrender?

Demon charges straight the group of soldiers, too fast for them to effectively counter. While no soldier was killed, most were injured by the charge.

When the large group turned to where it went, they saw nothing but a broken wall of the park's boundary and no demon in sight. It left the area without a trace.

With nothing else to fight, the soldiers brought in their injured to the main camp where they were left to heal.

No other encounters were seen that night and the large, explosive death at the market is unexplained for now.

(From previous research actions before the shift to the current way)

Proper Coal-Burning has been researched and can be used as fuel to heat things up quite bit- especially in small spaces.

A new sector of the government's arm is the Secret Guard, which will carry out missions when ordered like sabotage and assassinations. This new arm adds 1 new action slot - ESPIONAGE.

Biology has been researched by a group of scientists at Jakoelfton University- better understanding of the fauna of the world now inhibits faster domestication and civilizing, cutting both roll times down by 1 round.

Rocketry has been researched and allows for explosives to be launched into the air but considering the technology is rather new, it doesn't go far and is not useful in war just yet.

The discovery of proper Combustion has been found and allows for the research of STEAM POWER to be researched once all prerequisites have been met. (Which they haven't since boilers have not been invented yet.)

A chemist by the name of Miloš Smolák has invented the precursor to hand grenades and that is THROWABLE DYNAMITE. Not only can it be used devastatingly in war but can also be used to mine far faster, cutting down mine, tunnel and railroad construction by 2 rounds.

The newest fort design has been approved- you may now build one STAR FORT per province.

Not only that but most government buildings have the mark of the Spirit Guardians on them to ward off any potential demons- hopefully it will never come to this.

I may have missed the give Azelf the note thing but good thing I did because it gave me time to cut-scene poorly. Sadly no animation because I need sleep.

The decoded message is given to a rather frail Heidi, barely hanging on at this point, to be given directly to Azelf, considering it's addressed to her. Normally, when something is for her, it is teleported away to who knows where but this time, a small but dense blue light flies into the cathedral and reforms into the goddess Azelf herself, who looks not at all pleased by the message.

"I have seen it through your eyes but I shall read it for myself." she said as she floated it over to her and read it. Her eyes slowly go from shock to pure anger at such a short blunt message.

"Yveltal... you are a fool and know nothing of father's way... he never did care for the hierarchy of the gods. If he wishes to toy with me, then I shall toy with him." she beckons Heidi over and gives her a piece of paper with something written on it."I will be watching the Valornian army closely and choose a champion to serve me directly and to strike him down. Give this to the Main Counselor in the mean-time and Heidi..."

"Y.. yes m.. my goddess?"

"Please... rest for my sake and choose a new Archbishop. You deserve rest for your deeds and faithfulness. I promise you that the Highlands will welcome you with fervor."

"Tha... thank you m.. my goddess." Heidi barely struggles out, weak as she is, even with Azelf in front of her.

Before long, Azelf teleports away in a ball of blue light, away to somewhere not of the mortal realm most likely.

The news is not the greatest in the land- demons lurk everywhere in Zureis and not only that but it seems that every Zureisian city seems to be an incredible hub for them, meaning the armies must avoid the cities unless they wish to be overrun.

The underwater search has turned up with not a lot actually considering the underwater towns have been sunken for thousands of years according to the estimates. But you find two things:

- A new large ship design, the Two-Decker. It must be properly researched to be built first.
- A strange gun design, which looks like it could shot more bullets than anything before it. Must be properly researched before it can be built.

Back to the army stuffs, you split the troops as evenly as you could and send them, one half northwards meeting with the allies, and one half southwards- hopefully rejoining in a pincer movement in Hasglow.

No. After the integration of the Butts, no one ordered the integration of the Sandshrew. This would be considered a POLITICAL action.

Valornia is solid SPIRITUALISM, after knocking the Butts senseless, GIRATINAISM was not the most well loved religion and declined.

Casus Belli on the lake province was never agreed on in the past- I think most people wanted to vassalize Karovia as a whole over blobbing them outright in the past just for a lake.

Also, cassus belli would fall under ESPIONAGE, which is currently filled.

The armies make it the the next province with no issue and no enemy forces in their way. When they get to the main city of the province, Daberly, they find a small Arthunbrook defensive force held up in the city.

The commander of the force, a Flaafy by the name of Alan Kendrick, looked weary but was ecstatic to see friendly forces, knowing the Valornian flag well.

"Thank heavens you all came. We have nothing left in the way of an army because of those demons. The rest of the Arthunbrook army fell back to the capital city, Gadenborough. We were garrisoned in this city but the command came too late and we were stuck here defending the remaining populace from the demons that have been attacking relentlessly. You may order us to follow along, keep us here or if you are all so kind, reinforce our garrison with some of your soldiers."

Now that you know how to combat demons, the commanders order a couple of shrines to be built around the city to ward off the demons and for all the weapons of the Arthunbrook troops to be blessed.

What will you do in Daberly? It is entirely up to you to decide.

You order them to stay there in Daberly but give orders to set up heavy escorts for the roads the Valornian army has cleared already. Since you have been placing shrines down along the way, they are mostly safe but other, smaller roads to smaller towns and villages do not have this privilege and you ask them to do what the Valornian army has done but with shrines to Arceus instead.

Yep. They just didn't know how to fight demons is all that happened.

As your armies leave the city towards Zureis, your soldiers encourage the worship of Azelf alongside Arceus. Considering Azelf is one of Arceus' Firstborn, they have no problems with this- they see it works for Valornia.

The research on Anti-Demonic methods has been finished and a special bullet has been developed for rifles to fire that increase damage to demons by 75%.

The training of a new type of unit has been completed- the War Priest. These holy warriors fight in the name of their god, can hold sermons before and after battle, pray and bless soldiers and weapons and are an incredibly effective unit against demons. You have gained 1 unit of War Priest with default equipment - Rifle/Leather Armor.

The Valornia people are no longer worried about demons. If they ever invaded, they would fight back tooth, nail, tail and other appendages to keep them out of their homeland. A demon invasion of Valornia is now 65% ineffective.

The efforts to split the Zureisian alliance are in full swing - Roll 1d100 to see the effects. The higher the roll, the more members will surrender to the Coalition.

They're righteous believers of arceus. It doesnt need to be an alliance or anything, but would probably help out in relations. We would have to limit their political abilities in our country and only have them convert/recruit those that are willing though. they'd also be some help military wise.

Whoops forgot to say that is was finished and that you have short distance rockets with small explosive charges on them, otherwise known as the Rocker. Artillery units only and does 145 damage to ground troops but an abysmal 50 damage to light ships and 30 damage to heavy ships.
