Behold the noble Lamb-tan, best of all shepherdesses, refined and elegant. After waking up from a conservative 15 hour nap Lamb-tan's herd has scarpered or been scarpered with. So far she's been able to recover her sheepdog from a dangerous hole infested with hole snakes. At the same time she put some random hat-girl into orbit, where she has found one of Lamb-tan's Lambs. Lassie the sheepdog has been dispatched to retrieve the wandering wool pile.

Now, Lamb-tan seeks to climb Spiral Mountain and use the extra elevation to look around for signs of her sheep. But lo, she is waylaid at the base of the mountain by the King's Guard. Four brave souls who attempt to hold the line against evil in a kingdom where most people do whatever the hell they feel like.

It appears a bomb loving idiot has appeared on top of the mountain and is rolling bombs down the convenient slopes. This is the third time this has happened this month. Lamb-tan thinks the kingdom should check in on the mountaintop periodically to kepe this from happening.

Now the guards are insisting Lamb-tan wait for the arrival of brave HEROES OF THE PEOPLE who are rumored to have appeared doing good deeds recently. Until the heroes have vanquished the evil the guards refuse to let Lamb-tan passed.

For a moment Lamb-tan considered becoming a hero or just seducing the guards. Unfortunately, Lamb-tan is a HERO OF SHEPHERDING and local ordinance outlaws being a hero of two things. Also, she has no idea how seduction works since she has spent all her time honing skills relating to the herding of sheep, from things like sheep matchmaking, and getting down with her bad self on the dance floor. Sadly seduction is not a required skill for the humble, and best, shepherdess.
>>
>>267278
One. Seduction is easy, just loosen one of the straps.

Two: Maybe you can herd the guards up the slope and have them deal with bomb guy? Seeing as they seem capable of blocking his bombs as they roll down?
>>
>>267278
Realize that by being a Sheppard you are, in a sense, a hero of the people. People need lambs all the time! You're the hero to someone out there.

Therefore, more than qualified for the job.
>>
>>267278
instead of walking up the slope climb the mountain face

Eh, it seems really steep. Let's call that plan D(on't wanna) for now.

>>267306
Mostly to Lassie, but that dog is super easy to impress and she's nowhere around right now.

>>267293
Lamb-tan will try seduction first if you insist. After loosening one of the straps on the Green Guard's armor it fell off. Is this how seduction works? Lamb-tan isn't sure she's doing it right.

The Green Guard seems embarrassed. Lamb-tan is embarrassed because she though the Green Guard was a guy. Apparently the acoustics in that helmet are awful.

The other guards seem alarmed. Lamb-tan has established superiority and may now begin herding if that is the plan she's to go with.
>>
>>267386
Finish establishing dominance by mounting the currently Alpha (Green)

Or just start walking up the slope under threat of undressing them
>>
>>267386
>Also, she has no idea how seduction works
>honing skills relating to the herding of sheep
>like sheep matchmaking

Well, then you know the basics of seduction. Just follow what sheep do when they're in heat, emit your scent and indicate that you are ready to mate through physical display. Soon enough, the males shall eventually butt heads to determine who shall mate with you, and after that, should be willing to let you pass.
>>
Herd Dumb, Dumber, and Dumberer away from the bomb along with your new green slave.
>>
>>267386
Tell everyone to DODGE!
>>
As Alpha of the herd, Herd them up the mountain by pointing with one hand and having the other hand placed on the other strap threatenly

Lamb-tan leaps upon the Green Guard's head and using another important shepherding skill forces to run toward the others.

It's not proper herding, but Lamb-tan gets the hole group of them running uphill.

>>267503
Lamb-tan has them dodge so well that somehow the bombs fail to go off when they hit them and they kind just get pulled along for the ride.

>>267419
Lamb-tan showers regularly, thank you very much.

On the way up they pass a chest that looks like a chest but is actually a bomb. You can tell by the way the fuse bends and is lit.

Lamb-tan has reached the top of the mountain! She finds a large pile of bombs, three of her missing sheep, and some hobo wearing a bomb for a crown. Or maybe it's a crown with a bomb in it? Whatever, it smells like it could explode.

"Who dares invade the sovereign state of the Bomb Mountain Alliance?! King Bob demands your leader step forward and declare yourself for bombing!"

Lamb-tan kind of just wants to take her sheep and go. Especially those sheep. Blastsheep really shouldn't be let near anywhere there might be loud noises. At least the guard have recognized Lamb-tan's right to hero in the area now.
>>
>>267696
Your mother has been very worried about you so why don't go fucking call her

take sheep while he is distracted and leave
>>
>>267696
Mister, do you know it's a really bad idea to have loud voices near blastsheeps?
>then educate him the basics of sheepology
>>
>>267709
This. And what the hell have you been feeding them?
>>
>>267696
Call the sheep and have them ram the Bomb king.
>>
>>267696
If the blastsheeps can survive set them off next to him. if they can't use them as a warning
>>
>>267696

Lamb-tan ignores his demands and instead delivers a noncomprehensive four hour lecture on blastsheep. The major points of which are that blastsheep wool is highly explosive, and regrows quickly when harvested at low yield percentages.

The hobo rudely interrupts complains that he knows all that since he used to run a bomb shop until the wool monopoly put him out of business.

He stops interrupting in hour three where Lamb-tan explains that blastsheep yield is easily identified by how white the blastsheep is, the more white the higher yield. If a pure white blastsheep is sheared the hair will take a normal amount of time to grow back, where at pure red you could harvest the wool up to 50 times in the same time frame.

The trick becomes that blastsheep woll dyes itself white or red depending on how safe the blastsheep feels. So loud noises and scary environments make their yield drop, since if a blastsheep's wool catches fire it will explode whether it has been sheared or not.

This brings Lamb-tan to her closing points, blastsheep take no damage from low yield explosions, and that stealing blastsheep is bad, not just since a good shepherd gives their blastsheep a lighter and trains them in its use.

"Okay, I wish you'd mentioned some of those things when you sold them to me," the hobo says, "Why didn't you mention these things sooner?"

Lamb-tan tells him that they've never met and if she ever sees him near her flock again she'll send an uncomfortable sleepysheep after him. Then she signals the blastsheep.

Lamb-tan looks out from the mountain, she can see lots of crap from here. Her barn, her sister's barn, the king's castle, a village, a city, somebody's set up a huge number of tents in the opposite direction from the castle, there's a huge mass of white fluff in the middle of the creative abyss that she really hopes isn't a sleepysheep, a flying lion pirate ship looking thing, and she can see BAASA from here.

BAASA is probably the best place to meet up with Lassie if she's finished her task.

The city is huge but Lamb-tan might have some ideas of places they'd go there. The king's blimp is over there too

The village is new. Looks quiet and quite boring from here.

Lamb-tan would rather not go to the king's castle without a good reason. It's a silly place.

The encampment is also new. Looks drab.

The giant fluff ball is actually terrifying considering the number of things it might be, It's definitely not a herd of sheep though. Lamb-tan would be able tot ell.

Lamb-tan hasn't heard of sky pirates around here recently, but the king tends to take that kind of thing personally, especially if they've got a lion head on the front like that.
>>
>>267956
Are you sure you didn't sell those?
>>
>>268046
Check the giant fluff ball. It warrants the most attention of the lot.
>>
>>268046
Tell the guards you'll miss them, especially the green one who you give a kiss to (she was your favorite underling), and head off to the flying lion pirate ship. They probably have seen your sheep, as they have likely been flying all over the place.
>>
>>268046
Fluff ball. Hopefully no flaming lizards ate your sheep.
>>
>>268046

Go to the flying pirate ship. Maybe they looted your sheep.

Lamb-tan bids the guards farewell, and they promise to convey her deeds to the king. She asks them to please not do that but they don't listen.

It take only a short jog to get over to the massive fluffball. As she gets closer Lamb-tan recognizes it as indeed being a sheep. She's pretty sure she knows what breed but she hopes she's wrong.

Finally she walks around to its front where she finds its face.

Crap. It's a sleepysheep with ridiculous amounts of wool.

Lamb-tan has frozen in terror.
