If your new, we're playing Renoxiezius, the ice dragon of Sweden, vassal of the King, and all around bad-ass. Who is also fat.
Last time, we finished up the Dungeon, adding three rooms which are a Laboratory, Library, and a Distillery, additionally we blew all our money on books of magic and political theory, additionally the King has asked us to disavow the N.C.F.S, which are our allies. And hit the bump limit like a motherfucker.

"So, you refuse to disavow the N.C.F.S?"
"Utterly, and completely."
"What if... I offered you some pay?"
"Money?'
"Yes, all you have to do is say the N.C.F.S are violent terrorists."

Terrible Failure

In a few seconds, you turn into your true draconic self, the king attempts to jump out of his throne to dodge your mouth, but fails and actually jumps into your mouth. You don't know if historians will write that as a suicide or a regicide, but either way, the King is dead.
You turn to the rest of the room, mostly nobles and servants, with a few guards. Most are terrified and make no comment on you eating the king.

A few simple things as we transition into our role as King.

Hans becomes a noble.
Our lair is protected by palace guard.
We now command the Swedish army, but retain our attaché because of their loyalty.
We aren't poor anymore.

Critical Success!

You turn your gaze to a servant, which proceeds to cower in fear.
"You, mortal, get me that reporter your king had come here."
"As... As you wish, lord Renoxiezius."
The rest of the nobility and the few guards in the room cower in a corner, fearful of your wrath. Eventually the reporter comes in, and quickly realizes whats going on. You block the door with your claw.
"Mortal, how do I look for your... Cameras."
"Good... Good, please don't eat me."
"I only ate the king, if you do your duty I will have no qualms with you, reporter."
The camera's light turns red, showing that your live on air.
"This is Re-"
"I can do my own introduction, mortal. Now step aside."
"Ye... Yes, my lord."
You give a sly grin to the camera.
What do you say?
>"Mortals, the time of the false king is at an end, now the true King has taken the throne as desired by all of you. I name myself Renoxiezius the First, Lord over all who live in this land." (Monarchy Government)
>"Mortals, the will of the people is ever so important to me. I, in my infinite wisdom and intelligence, will now allow you to help manage the government, and allow you to choose leaders amongst you instead of letting one weak and feeble king rule. (Republic Government)

You send a glance to the nobility and guards hunched over in the back of the room. Who begin clapping fervently.

"I pronounce a day of celebration tommorow, a celebration where any citizen, regardless of rank, gender, or age may meet me. Let it be known that I exchange a fair hand to the people of this land."
After that, the camera shuts off.
"Is... Is that all my lord?"

You decide to let the nobility go, they haven't really done anything to spite you. After this, you head back to your estate, where the ocassional servant or guard flees from your view.
In the morning, you hear Anitta (attempting) to wake you up.
"Lord? Hans wants you."
"For what..."
"The festival, lord."
"Why so early?"
"So we can get there in time, the festival starts at four."
"I could easily fly there."
"Hans said it was proper for a king to be driven there."

"Very good my lord. I'll go tell Hans now."

A few minutes later, after "liberating" a rather regal looking outfit from a noble, you get into what Han's calls a "limousine"
"I can barely see out of this, why did I choose to take this car when I could be flying there?"
"Honestly? I'm not sure."
"Good point, Hans. I'm not sure either."
"Anyways, we should be there shortly."
"Good."
A minute later, a man opens the limousine to the city's park, where hundreds of thousands of people are, gathered around a very large stage.

You march throughout the crowd, nearly everyone gets out of your way, and you climb on stage, in front of a microphone. There is a notable presence of admiration, rather then fear. Clapping a cheering follow your ascent on stage. Countless flashes from the crowd from cameras, and signs such as "GLORY TO H.D.E.S" are scattered all throughout the background. All the way in the distance however, past the police line, are signs of swastikas and lines through them, and yelling of "Death to Fascism", and what not.

As you go to open your mouth, one of the protestors throws something at your face, which connects and leaves a nasty scar. You turn your glaze towards the man who threw whatever that was. His once-bravery melts, and you turn to your crowd, turned from average every day men into fanatical zealots at the sign of their Emperor being attacked. You say to the crowd...
"Kill them."
In a second, the crowd surges forward towards the protestors, and a violent battle emerges in the park. Family turned against family, as people attempt to grab whatever they can to either defend themselves, or their Emperor. In a few minutes, the protestors flee, and paramedics attempt to heal the wounded and unconscious. Luckily, no one was killed in the battle, but this will undoubtedly cause the anti-fascists to become radicalized.

After a few more trial runs, a major flaw has been detected. Those who take the potion start refering to themselves as "Renoxiezius", evidently their brain-chemicals get replaced with yours, which... After a few hours of concocting and researching, you manage to get rid of the insanity effect, and instead substitute that in having increased loyalty to each other, so the previous "murder anyone who isn't me or Renoxiezius" thing is gone. The Dragonblood mutation still has a side-effect, and that is that uninfected humans seem to think something is... Out of the norm with those infected with Dragon blood. Additionally, without anesthetics, those infected have something similar to an auto-immune disease, which kills them in under twelve minutes.

Administering it now seems like a waste because of the reliance on anesthetics.

Note, that the reliance on anesthetics just means you need to administer the potions with anesthetics, or anti-bodies reacts to it as an outside agent, but once the blood transforms it no longer needs it. Basically, good luck doing this outside a lab environment or hospital.

Well, good news, and bad news.
First off, you can't heart beating. Which is generally bad. But you know it's producing blood. Which is a strange feeling.
Good news, you can't feel pain in your chest area.

Good Success!

After further documentation and research, you discover that in fact, the Half-Dragon shares quite a few similarities to the Dragonblood mutation, but with quite a few extremities. First off, is the brain chemicals, which similar to the Dragonblood, but is slightly more exaggerated to look up to you as a sort of biological "father", severely increasing its loyalty. Additionally, the genitalia of a Half-Dragon means it can no longer breed with a human, but can (theoretically speaking), breed with a Dragon blood or another Half Dragon. The large stature of the Half-Dragon is about 8'2', making them excellent shock-troopers.

After this research, you find yourself exhausted, and head back up to sleep...

Eh, with nationalizing, you tend to piss EVERYONE off, including the Germans and Brits, who aren't in NATO. Also the turks, which no one cares about.
Even if you didn't nationalize Germans/Brits, they'd be afraid you'd attempt to nationalize their businesses as well, and still be pissed off.

"Architect, I have a few ideas to improve our infrastructure."
"Like what, m'lord?"
"First off, transportation needs to be improved. In the industrial cities, install industrial trolleys to bring goods to and forth without disrupting traffic as much, and in..."
After a few hours of planning infrastructure, your fairly sure the new highways, trains, trolley ways, and sidewalks will make the industry of Sweden much faster and more efficient, along with allowing Mobilization easier and faster.
You also start designing a new weapon in your laboratory, which seems to be reminiscent of the German's StG-44, but shorter and more efficient for close-combat. Additionally, combining some elements from the M39, you assume that when you get to testing, you'll have a SMG which is capable at nearly range, but lethal in close combat.

After designing and going over the plans with your brilliance, one of your servants rings the bell you have installed in your dungeon, and apparently more petitioners for the Royal Court have come today.

"Yes, my lord."
After wrapping up your design (And ordering your guards to guard the doors to make sure no damned NATO spies get in), you head to your throne room, where quite a few petitioners are waiting for you.
Most are "economists" with something to lose in nationalizing the economy, but one man strikes your interest.
"My lord, as you know, certain... Countries, shall we say, would pay us well to deliver NATO's industrial designs and techniques. Of course, this will infuriate NATO even further, but the potential is there."
Interesting...
"And what do you want, in exchange of this information?"

You begin to wrap up your SMG design, which you name the "Autokarbin-12", which can come standard with the traditional Swedish Bayonet. Additionally, it uses twelve-caliber rounds to kill its' enemies, adding to it's stopping power. Another brilliant feature in the design, is the side-clip, similar to that M39, which neither overburdens the sides of the rifle, which is essential in CQC, but instead reduces sway and in addition, allow for more accurate shots from cover.

After mixing a little bit around with some chemicals, and a little less anesthetics, combined with some steroids, you come up with a regent which helps your mutagen stabilize the brain-chemicals of a subject. However, in these "Mark Two" patients, those given the serum tended to have rapid growth, causing them to have extreme difficulty with human-sized rooms and whatnot. Their cells were quite small for them, once it finished.

After further study, it seems that the Half-Dragon mutagen seems to give the infected a prehensile tail, along with your iconic ice breath, with a limited frost aura they seem to be unable to turn off, and have inherited your... Digestive methods. In addition, compared to the Dragonbloods, they actually see you as their "biological" father, and often call you this. Furthermore, it seems that limited memory loss is occurred, mostly in the linguistical and memory parts, phasing out their childhood to a blank status, and it seems that they instinctively know how to speak Draconic, but must be trained to speak any other language.
Flaw: Language Gap, Childhood Memory Loss
Bonuses: Extremely Loyal, Prehensile Tail, and Ice Breath.

After this, you barely make it to bed before passing out.

For a few hours, you fly around, she's screaming at the top of her lungs, and eventually you land.
"That was.. Awesome."
"Good, mortal."
"For a dragon... Your pretty cute..."
Apparently, she seems a little.. Intoxicated. High wind pressure tends to do that to mortals.
You have an idea, which is crazy enough to work.

You decide that using a traditional melee weapon might be useful, but you decide that against most enemies, it might not be too useful... So you decide to make an upgrade.

Looks like Maul Wins.

You take your average sledge hammer. Now make it the size of a man. Then increase it further. The head of it, is about the size of a man's upper body. You also attached a sort of percussion effect, which will devastate tanks and defenses if they get hit with these babies. The only downside is that you can't hold the grenade-launcher in the same hand, but that's minor compared to having a fucking maul of death.
You begin passing these weapons out to your soldiers, who begin training immediately.
Actions.
>Attempt to mutate that dark spot at the center of your body with Necromancy. (HARD, Necromancy.)
>Go to sleep.
>Read a Magic Book! (Intelligence)
>Bathe in your Treasury... You've been working hard after all.
>Write-In
tl;dr: You got a fucking maul that destroys tanks like tissue paper.

Barely Successful

After reading the book on enchantment, you can attempt basic enchantments, such as setting your hand on fire (when it's not), and other parlor tricks. This could be very useful in intimidating enemies, now that you think about it.
New Skill: Enchantment

Afterwards, you head to sleep, and wake up once more in the morning...
>Attempt further Mutagen Creation... This time however, you have an idea...(Alchemy, HARD)
>Attempt to mutate that black spot still in your scales with Necromancy. (Necromancy, HARD)

Success!

After taking further notes in your laboratory, you realize something. You can apply a similar mutagenic process to nearly anything... So long as it has blood, of course. Essentially, if you wanted to, you could attempt forced mutation with a variety of creatures, so long as the infected is human, you can mutate them as you see fit, so long as you have an animal or such you can combine with them.
Actions
>Attempt this new science... (Alchemy)
>Attempt regular mutagens again...
>Attempt to mutate your black mark with Necromancy. (Necromancy).
>Travel to Stockholm

Minor Success!

After some... Experimentation with a few of your unwilling test subjects, you manage to combine both a mantis shrimp, and a Half-Dragon, and after some increased genetical tailoring, making sure the specimen won't become unable to breathe the air and what not, you make a specimen with the abillity to punch like a motherfucker. Nearly any material sent near it was destroyed. The only flaw you can find, is that it has a penchant for punching anything. Also, it looks similar to a regular half-dragon, so enemies cannot distinguish between the two.
>Attempt to step it up, mutate it FURTHER! (Alchemy, HARD)
>Let's see what happens if you do another combo... (Alchemy)

Borderline Success
You fuck.

After even more experimentation, unholy sacrilege to god, and further mutation, you effectively combine these three creatures into a devestating killing machine... Who's loyalty only lies in you.
>Unleash your evil laughter, AND STEP IT UP MORE!!! (VERY HARD, Alchemy)
>Attempt a different combo... (Alchemy)
>Nope, back to bed.
Additionally, VERY HARD means the only change is the first two rolls will be accepted, limiting your pool of dice, but criticals are sill prioritized.

>>206331
>Nope back to bed

Borderline generally means you were +1 off of the DC, if I said "Border Check", essentially it's just a reroll, which I'm honestly surprised we haven't had.

Anyways, I'm going to end here tonight, because I'm exhausted...

Hmmmm, okay. I'm new to this scene and whatnot.

off to bed though, time to roll for those extremely unstable mutations.

>>
>>206367
Thanks QM, easily the best quest I'm currently following. You're pretty good
>>
>>206384
Just wondering, what am I particularly good at, and what am I particularly bad at? I just would like to write this according to my strengths.
>>
>>206393
>Good
How you write characters is in my opinion solid. I also like the way you run the quest and your ability to "go with the flow"
>Bad
You aren't the most descriptive writer and your dialogue is as good as I feel it could be. However, don't take my criticisms too seriously, as I am no English teacher nor am I a writer.
>>
>>206411
Yeah, I've been feeling writing a little lazy in the descriptive department. Might try to improve that next time.
>>
>>206454
Tbh it's whatever. Your quest is fun, consistent, and interesting in concept.
>>
>>206393

>Good
Everything >>206411 said. This doesn't feel railroaded at all. I also like the way stats/abilities are tracked and organized (a lot of quests are not as formal with this). Always choosing crit rolls makes the quest more dynamic, but perhaps less serious.

>Bad
Also as the other guy said, you don't write much detail. I suppose it helps things go faster, but I would gladly trade speed for more detail. Sorry for the autism, but please use the correct form of you're/your. You consistently use "your" when "you're" is appropriate.
It seems pretty hard to actually fail anything significant here.
Also,
>fading to black
>on 4chan
We need more lewd dragon greentexts

>Other
This isn't really good or bad and it probably comes naturally since you're from /pol/, but this is more of a nationbuilding quest than a dragon quest. Easy, rapid (not many turns) combat without much strategy and very powerful transformation abilities remove any of the real challenges of just being a dragon (for example, we don't really have to worry about the logistics of being a 50ft killing machine or how people will react, since we can transform at will to avoid all that) so there's not much traditional adventure to be had, and so there's not much else to do but world domination.

Great job overall, it's a fun quest.
>>
>>206331
>Alchemy Human Rat combo for good stealth tactics.
>>
>>206673
Don't worry, I'm planning on making some shit harder, and I'm planing to increase level of detail.
>>
We need to make a half dragon which aspects of the mantis shrimp for stronger strikes and speed and of the honey badger for resilience and badassery.
