Last time, when we left off, we heavily damaged Stockholm, became a barbarian dragon, fucked up some communists, bonded a little with our “indentured servant” Anetta, a sorceress, came over our hatred of beds, and got breakfast and ate LIKE A NOBLE!

Additionally, the king gave us a job…
“So, I basically need the town of Nordissciar razed, to make sure the rebels get the idea that a violent uprising isn’t the best idea, got it? My sources tell me they have battlemages ready to shoot down any jets or armor we send in there, so I need something able to perform both roles if necessary…”
Is exactly where we left off from last time.

"I'm on the way."

As you arrive, you notice the king angry, his face flushed red.
"The bastard demanded that I step down! He claimed the Norwegian king was the "rightful" heir to the throne!"
"What?"
"I ought to have his head on a pike, but this threat of NATO attempting to get my cousin on the throne is too great. I require your aid once more."

"For this, it's exactly what I need."
"Why, exactly?"
"Well, this NATO diplomat, and my cousin should be boarding an aircraft to meet up in Denmark for a festivity down there, to spread "cultural awareness", or whatnot. I need you to down their flight, with any means possible. It should be leaving in about seven hours, near midnight conveniently enough..."
"I have heard enough my lord, may your will be done."
"Good, after this, we should be able to make our first power-play in the region."

You head to the airport early, and find a good place to keep surveillance over the flights leaving. Eventually, after a few hours of staking out, you see it take off...

>Try to freeze the plane's turbines with your breath. (Agility)

That's the most stealthy thing a giant dragon can do, and if the situation is inspected by authorities, they could blame it on malfunction or the weather instead of deducting that a giant ass dragon took it down.

Also, I was wondering, isn't our dragon kind of being way too humble? I mean, he acts like if the king is his king as well and is no better than a muscle for hire so far, with the king only giving him in exchange for his services a lair and ownership of prisoners. He should consider getting more involved in the world on his own accord rather than obeying the whims of the king

Eh, I'm kind of suiting the character around what the Anon's are going with, so far in this thread we haven't really been BESERKER FRENZY like in the past two, instead we've mostly been talking and whatnot. If you guys want the character to act more ambitious and arrogant, do ambitious and arrogant things. At some point, I'll lock the trait down similar to the fact our character has a tendency to get angry more often, because it's a character trait.

When you land, the king awaits.
"Is it done?"
"Of course, king."
"Very good, this should open up further opportunities once we find where it crashed, and Norway should be mine by inheritance. Good work, I'll make sure your pay will have a bonus to it. Now get some rest, there will be much work in the days ahead."

Alright, continuing Dragon Quest on here, I hope you enjoy today's Dragon Quest.

The next day comes, with your routine of eating breakfast, but today is a little different. The War Council has been called.
You sit next to the king, where three generals (one you recognize as Hans) brings forth four maps to you. Seeing as the king has put the matter of how to invade Norway up to you, you have an army under your claw.
"Sir, here are the maps we have drawn to best suit our advance in occupying Norway."
He hands you four maps.
>The first map revolves a strategy of terror, striking in the heart of the capital, you will rampage throughout it, causing their military to attempt to respond to you, allowing for the Swedish army to flank and destroy them. (Body)

I would say yes a bit too passive. We are still a dragon after all and I think we see this as less subservient to a mortal king and more a useful partnership and if he thinks he's the one in charge well he's welcome to the assumption.

Good Success!
You mostly ignore the crowd, occasionally stepping on a civilian or two, and you start attacking their feeble infantry and armor. Most of their men go running at the sight of you, and the few that remain are either eaten or splattered into the ground as little giblets.
Additionally, your forces have enter the city, meeting resistance but nothing severe enough to slow them down. Effectively, the battle of Oslo is over, and the war is effectively won in a nearly decisive blow. You meet up with your generals in only two hours, and say the campaign was effectively a success, the civillians are terrified for their lives, resistance is nearly null, and the remaining cities have all surrendered in the face of the devestation that appeared at Oslo. Additionally, the King has sent word that he has granted you a small personal unit of soldiers, fresh from recruitment in honor of your victory. They await your command at the palace.

Effectively, you land in front of the palace and transform into your human self. As you walk in, you spot in front of the palace's entrance, a unit of 75 fresh-faced recruits. The outside is quite large, with walls of white stone and tall windows, much taller then the ones in the main estate, which you note could easily block light with the thickness of the red fabric. Additionally, a small foyer awaits those who would seek entry into it, and large metal doors, complete with a button which only one of your height could reach. Overall, it's decent for one of your standing.

Inside, is quite interesting. In the very center, right behind the metal doors, seems to be a very large room, complete with a rafter above that seems to hold something about your weight and height. Additionally, four rooms are on the sides, the first you presume to be a servant's quarters, easily capable of housing forty or even fifty slaves. The second room, the one which is dug slightly underground, you presume to be the treasure room, lacking windows in order to be secure from robbers. The third room, seems to be a sort of barracks, easily capable of holding a hundred and fifty soldiers. Last of all, the fourth room seems to be a small armory, seemingly for your soldiers.
Interesting.

Overwhelming Critical!

You order your men to charge, at first, they hesitate. Suddenly, a man takes a shot to the leg, howling out in bloodlust, he charges across the battlefield, dodging a weaving. This inspires the other men, who charge forward. Bullets fly, your men evade shots and close up with the enemy, beating them unconscious with their rifle butts, and melee breaks out. In a matter of minutes, the enemy surrender, only to be knocked unconcious by your men, who proceed to loot the village.

You hang out with your soldiers, and drink quite a bit into the night. You and the soldiers end the night in a blur, singing folk songs from their province and generally getting along, it ends on a high note, when the soldier who got shot in the leg attempts to seduce one of the castle servants, only to end with her out-drinking him in a drinking contest. Hans even made an appearance towards the end, looking slightly disappointed, most likely because he wasn't invited. You eventually fall asleep in the rafters, and awake in the morning. You notice most of your men are suffering from hangovers, and a noble is knocking on your door.
"Sir."
"Oh god, let me guess, the king wants my presence again?"
"You guessed it sir."
"I'll be on the way."
You walk into the court room, with the king standing before you.
"Ah, Renoxiezius! I need you for a special task..."

To the Northern Dragon, Renoxiezius, my faithful bishop Reinhold has told me about you. About your slavery, arrogance, and slaughter. He also however, also told me about your kindness, to a small village, your respect for the clergy, and a faith to the God and Holy Spirit. I will say, that your mere presence has caused a slight schism in Roma, half of the cardinals wish to declare you a heathen and declare a crusade, though the other half think that you are merely misguided. In any case, I wish you peace in your travels.
-Pope Pius XII
"Interesting, it seems the Pope has taken a likening to me."
"Hm, well then. I suppose the Pope may assist you yet, now I must get back to my studies, if you excuse me..."

Great Success!

You bring in the priest, and together you attempt to convert your slaves to catholicism.

"Alright, you slaves have two options, convert and serve me with pay, as a servant instead of a slave, or refuse and remain a slave until the end of your days."
At first, no one approach, until one slave approachs the priest. Then another. Then most of them. Only several holdouts remian, and your new servants have decided to remain with you, either already having family here with them, and their homes being destroyed, or having no where else to go.

40 out of 47 of your slaves have been converted.

The priest takes your newly-freed servants to be baptized not too far away from here, and you head back to your room, when a noble in the foyer asks for you.
"The king wishes your presence at today's War Council."
"Just when I thought I would get a day off, out of my way mortal, I have a war to run."

As you enter into the War Council, you find the King has, yet again, given you command of the campaign into Finland. Additionally, your generals have told you that Norway surrendered earlier this morning, and that a second strike force is ready for action against Finland.

Four maps are given to you.

You decide to attend Brother Reinhold's Sunday sermon, which proves interesting enough. It starts off in Draconic, which you understand quite well, and then fades back into Swedish. People are genuinely surprised that you of all people would be there. Eventually Mass ends, and Reinhold walks up to you.

The N.C.F.S recruitment nearly doubles, and Hans reports that over 34% of Stockholm are N.C.F.S supporters or sympathisers.
This is where I'm leaving it tonight, I'll see you gents tomorrow.

Continuing from last night, you guys found the N.C.F.S, secretly took control of their organization from their leader, Bjorn Ludde, got fat, trained our men to be CREED!, discovered that Moscow has really powerful mages, and had a reporter sneak into the palace and ask us questions, which we narrowly avoided clawing her face off.

As you awake in the morning, Anitta, your loyal servant waits for you to awake completely, and proudly claim the Dungeon is complete ahead of schedule. There are three rooms in the dungeon, which can be built with the following modules... These are built instantly, but further rooms will take time to build.
Buildings (Choose three)
>Laboratory, this will allow you to do SCIENCE!
>Distillery, this will allow you to do Alchemy and make alcohol in your spare time!
>Library, this is a place to store all your books!
>Armory, want a place to store a masterwork rifle you'll never use? Then build this!
>Prisoner Quarters, allows you to keep prisoners and interrogate them better.
>Art Room, want a place to paint or sculpt like a true professional, which you are not? Then build this!
>Manufactory, made for building things and weaponry!
>Write-In

Additionally, choose what your slaves and servants will do...

>Start trapping the dugneon, can't let any NATO or Warsaw Pact spies in...
>Start building some patrol posts around the property, you need the security.
>Upgrade a currently existing room, such as the Treasure Room or the Barracks.
>Start training your servants to be proficient in firearms, you might need the extra defense.
>Write-In

Additionally, the door to the Dungeon is right beneath your sleeping area, so it's fast to get to.

"What is it, king?"
"I need you to disavow a new political party, calling itself the N.C.F.S, apparently to the people of Sweden, your a hero. Your word is good to them, so I need you to do this for me. I have brought a newscaster here, so you can tell the people of Sweden whilst they watch their televisions."
