This whole thing started with dotted lines pointing out habitats of specific monsters. Let's see the habitats of some not yet mentioned beasts

Summary: The world is as of now a pure fantasy setting. Things in the north are nice, things in the south are less nice. We're not adding manpreg island no matter how much you ask, feel free to add other stuff and flesh out other things.

rules are (as of right now):

>be nice
>don't fuck up other people's lore
>don't add new landmasses
>no fetishes/coomershit
>don't sperg out if people don't accept or like your lore/additions

What are some canal cities in this setting?

I know Florinth is the most obvious answer, it's a mix between Venice and Florence and it's built on top of a Lake (or lake islands?). Hithlone also has canals as its situated on top of a delta.

Ups, that's outdated. Here's the current biome map.

So, with the physical and biome map pretty much done and the political map finally filled, we need to see what else we need to do:

-Political map with cities, nation's capitals, main roads and trade routes. Most nations and regions have little to no cities located on the map, even some of the big ones. We'd need number of cities, their location, capital if there's one, trade routes between the different powers... A city map would need to be made first before the trade one.
-An approximate general timeline of the world. Maybe a common mythology and cosmogony.
-How the flat world works: The night/day cycle, seasons, its relation with magic, how the Emptiness affects the world...
-Adding more lore to the more lacking spots. We could check the wiki for those places with very little lore.
-How the magic works. Does everyone have the potential to use magic? Or is it exclusive to some? If it is exclusive, who has it and why? Can wizards use all kinds of magic, or just some kinds?
-Filling the lore of the underground map.
Anything else we might need?

>Things that can be done right away.
-Creating the world’s cosmogony and ancient history.
-The Day/Night Cycle, seasons, sea currents…
-Giantstep’s mythology and religions.
-Creation of a magical system.
-Adding more lore to the more lacking spots (politics, culture, economy, characters…).
-More underground lore.
-Writing the 13 Wonders of the World and 13 Horrors of the World.
-Current history/politics of every nation.
-Current world villains/wars/other threats...
-Bestiary (Land/Sea/Underground...).
-Herbarium (Land/Sea/Underground...).
-List of sapient species.
-Highly detailed maps for every major area in the world.

>Things that need something else done before starting them.
-Political map with cities, nation's capitals, main roads and trade routes [needs finishing the clean political map, more lore written and combine them all with the physical map]
-A general timeline of the world [we need lore about the World’s Creation, how long its ancient history lasts, match the timeline of the different nations so they do not overlap…]
-Making an astrological star map [needs finishing the world’s day/night cycle, cosmogony…]
-Making a map for monster territories [we need the bestiary and the biome map done]
-Map of alliances, peace treaties and wars [we need the clean political map and much more lore]
-Military power ranking [much, much more lore]

>Fart Daisies
The fart daisies grow on the border of the Bog of Eternal Stench to the Forest of Getting Lost and in the Kingdom of Grobianism. The fart daisy or Bellis Crepitu is a species of the family Fœtoraceae. Fart daisies emit a stinky smell when touched or when they sense vibrations. It is believed that this is a defensive reaction to deter herbivores. Fart Daisies are traditionally used by goblin and ogre children to make foul smelling necklaces. Bellis Crepitu has laxative properties and can be used in herbal medicine. Its use in salads is strongly discouraged as a single petal can spoil an entire meal

The Nothing would obviously be a major world terror
>>
Ok, I'm writing something about the world's origins. Does this work, or does it contradict the already established lore?

Before the Beginning, there was the Nothing. The Nothing was alone and survived feeding off itself. The nothing raged and despaired thinking there was nothing in existence beyond itself. And, since the Nothing was the Nothing, it meant nothing existed. And then something existed: despair. The Nothing raged against its own non-existence, and that raged created a Great Void into the Nothing, spreading the Nothing too thing it started to dissipate, thus creating spaces of Something. One of those masses of Nothing fell into the Great Void. The Something realized it Was, and that it was not Nothing anymore. It also realized that, if it was Something, there must be more Something somewhere else, probably outside the Great Void. But it could not get outside of the Great Void, and thus it was alone. After an eternity of thought, it realized that, if it was inside of the Great Void, and there must be more Something outside of it, the solution is to find a way to go outside the Great Void. But the Something was nebulous and unclear, an indescribable mass of existence that was, but it wasn’t enough. Thus, the Something divided itself in a multitude of entities, smaller, but more defined, and with the potential to solve the great problem.
>>
>>85027737
This was the birth of the Titans, the creatures born out of the Something’s desire to go beyond the Great Void. Their shapes were more defined, and their goal was clear. Working together, they decided on a plan to exit and find what laid beyond the Great Void. One of the Titans, named by many ancients as The Architect, took bits of itself and shaped them in a form that could allow them to get out: the Celestial Stairs. It is said that, while giving form to the Celestial Stairs, the strength and impact of his work created sparks that still burn in the firmament to this day, creating the stars and other cosmic bodies. Bu the Celestial Stairs were not strong enough on their own, at least not strong enough to carry the Titan’s weight. So once again, the Titans decided to divide themselves into smaller beings, the Great Giants. The Great Giants were small and light enough to climb the Celestial Stairs, and after taking some stars to illuminate their path, the climbed up.
>>
>>85027737
>>85027752
Personally I like it
>>
>>85027752
The Great Giants were of all shipe and sizes, the biggest ones climbing the Celestial Stairs before the smaller ones. Many of the smaller giants, tired of the great voyage, decided to stay and live in the stairs themselves, creating the land and oceans, and eventually lighting the spark of life. But this giants weren't strong enough to do this, they were smaller and weaker than their predecessors, and thus they kept shrinking, their wisdom, lore and size shrinking and shrinkng over time.
>>
>>85027790
From the dust, dirt and sweat left by the Great Giants' Great Voyage in the steps life began growing in the ancient steps. Their shape followed the pattern of the ancient giants, but time made it change in form and function until it barely resembled them. Life spread throughout the world, and it was all good.
>>
>>85027845
Out of the void, an infinitessimal speck of Nothingness ended up floating towards the World that now Was. That small Nothingness saw the life starting to grow in the world, and it felt despair again. Threatening to consume it, the Nothingness loomed above the world. However, the last of the Great Giants pleaded for the life growing in the step, and sacrificed itself to save it, being devoured by the speck of Nothingness. And from that predatorial act, the Nothingness suddenly felt the love and care the last of the Great Giants felt for the world. Torned aside between the despair of being Nothing and the Great Giant's love for existence, the speck of Nothingness split asunder once again. The fragments born out of this sundering were the Gods, each one dedicated to one aspect of existence that the last Great Giant loved so much. The part of the Nothingness that felt despair and envy fell in the ocean, and has been there ever since, eating away everything that falls into itself for the crime of being.

>Anglerserpent
The Anglerserpent or Deep Sea Leviathan is a flying deep-sea dragon species that lives in the depths of the great rift. It uses its bioluminescence to attract prey in the hadopelagic depths. An Anglerserpent can go up to half a year without food. If this time limit is exceeded, the monster emerges through the Abyssopelagic level into higher water layers and hunts deep-sea whales. However, there are rare reports of Anglerserpents, apparently so famished that they have dived to the surface to ambush ships and devour the crew. Some sailors in the Sour Mussel on Ortuga Island swore they've witnessed one such beast soar into the air in front of their ship, fly towards the mainland, return and plummet back down into the waters with a full-grown Urtophant in its mouth.

>>
The Triarchy of the Three Sisters, or just "The Sisters" is an island state south of Scimitaria.

It's named as such because it's comprised of three islands: Kabal, Tyr and Nekiz.

>History

The first settlement on these islands was the fortress of Nekiz, which gave its name to the island itself. It was built by the Azanneese over a thousands years ago, as a means of defense against the warring Drow. After the wars, it was subsequently abandoned, and its inhabitants turned to fishing as a means to provide for themselves.

This population of humans quickly spread to the neighboring islands of Tyr and Kabal, who founded the cities of Kabal (on the eponymous island) and Gaius (on Tyr). The islands had remained relatively poor, until a species of sea slug was discovered in the waters near Kabal.

As these slugs came in many different vibrant colours, the people of the Sisters were able to use its secretions in order to extract fabulous colours from them, which soon became their main export. These dyes are characteristic for their durability and the seemingly infinite shades and hues they provide.

The Sisters soon became immensely rich due to the dye trade, with thousands of merchants moving to the islands within a generation. Soon enough, the three cities grew in size and importance, and they soon established a government consisting of three Triarchs - one from each island - who ruled in unison.

>People

Sistermen are considered boisterous, flamboyant and greedy. They love bright colors, dyeing their hair and beards brightly in colors such as maroon, scarlet, orange and vermilion. They are considered queer by the Azanneese and even their islander neighbors.

Their language is a corrupted version of Azaneese. Moreelsians and Hithloneans consider their accents ludicrous.
>>
>>85029081
>The succubi are canocially from hell as in a real physical place below the surface
That wasn't really clear from the initial short posting. When writing stuff related to the succubus, I assumed that if you go deep enough into the breaches, you eventually end up in another dimension.

The Ancestral Breach seems to have a similar premise given it is magical in nature and can be closed.
>>

>Economy

Gaius, Nekiz and Kabal are merchantile cities, where trade is considered a much more honorable profession than arms. Many banks are present in the Sisters, its merchants having amassed enormous wealth in their vaults. Sistermen dyers are able to manipulate the colours of the sea slugs by changing their diets.

The Triarchy is also deeply involved in the slave trade, and Sistermen slavers are known to be especially aggressive. They even sail beyond the Adamantine Archipelago, in search of slaves from the lands of the hobbits, gnomes and brownies. Most of the slaves in the west are a result of the Triarchy's monopoly on slave trade.

>Cities

The main cities of the Sisters are Nekiz, Kabal and Gaius.

Nekiz was the first settlement in the Sisters, originally a fortress town. It's now considered the administrative capital of the Triarchy, although it has the smallest population of the three cities. It's protected by brim, white walls and there's a huge tower near its Harbor that serves as a lighthouse. It's in Nekiz that the Triarchs hold their meetings and official festivities, Even though slaves are numerous and outnumber the local populace in every city, Nekiz is the worst offender of all. Slaves outnumber the freeborn four to one, and sellswords are particularly common.

Gaius is the most populous city in the Triarchy, located in the biggest island of the sisters, Tyr. Gaius has many factories and is home to all manner of craftsmen offering every ware possible and one can even find the occasional con-man or shady dealer. The city is also home to numerous banks and even has a zoo. There's no official army, but there's a secret service that operates there. Gaius is known as the "City of a Thousand Gods" thanks to hundreds of temples devoted to hundreds of gods that dot its streets. One can even find temples dedicated to Drow or even Witch Elven gods.

Kabal is known as the economic capital of the Triarchy, as its in this city where most of the Sisters' dyers are based. There are over a dozen banks in the city's premises, as well as insurance companies. It's particularly known for its colourful buildings and walls that surround it, which are painted from the dyes extracted from the sea slugs. Some call it "the city of Rainbows". Pleasure houses are common in Kabal.

>Religion

There's no official religion in the Sisters. The locals worship a plethora of gods, while others follow the old faith of Azan. The slaves in Gaius find fortitude in prayer thanks to the myriad of temples that house gods from all over the known world.

>Government

The Triarch of each island is chosen from among the members of a conclave of the wealthiest and noblest of each city. He rules for 8 years, although examples of longer reigns have been recorded.

The Triarch of Nekiz is Brusco Saeleris, an old man with a sturdy build that used to be a sellsword in his younger days.

Yuuri Flatro is the Gaius' Triarch, a passionate young man with a quick temper who's family is said to hail from Blesire settlers.

The Triarch of Kabal is Elian Quanis, a flamboyant man with shoulder-length blonde hair, who's proud of his heritage as one of the first settlers in the Sisters.

>Geography

The Sisters are relatively flat islands. Foreign merchants have noted how some of the beaches in the less populated areas are so clean you can see staright to the bottom. The sea around the Sisters is known as the "Sea of Tranquility" thanks to its calm waters.

>Millitary

The Triarchy has a large fleet, most of it leased or bought from the large shipyards of Hithlone. During times of war, the Triarchs use their influence among the bankers in order to employ an impressive amount of mercenaries from Furlaniya, Azan and Ampleazzo.

The Citadel of Hithlone acts as a super-university basically, and it teaches magic as well, although there are many who suspect that the Scholars that rule the Citadel are against magic and want to exterminate it from the world.

The Isle of Wizards and Arangea also hold magical academies, to my knowledge.

Alga (capital city of Avangar) is the home of the dark arts, where they are practiced and teached freely, unlike most of the world. Insidious individuals from all over the world travel to the North in order to hone their skills.

Orcs are either English (Ingurland) or Irish (Orc'eire)
>>
>>85029797
We don't know how magic works exactly, but some have said that it either can be taught by other wizards (magic academies, which are limited) or through an individual who was born with magical prowess (through a specific gene, who knows).

>>
>>85030079
Something as big and influential as magic surely should have to be accepted by the majority, or atleast not be opposed by it.

Many mages are mentioned in the lore, with multiple magic practicioners and academies. Are we all assume that all of those are seventh sons of seventh sons? Makes no sense.
>>
>>85030139
>Are we all assume that all of those are seventh sons of seventh sons?
why not? it's a big world? how do you explain people not becoming wizards if everything has the potential to do so? that would hoenstly be even more lore breaking. I'd say we should do a poll on it

or

that means that no way in hell would peasants be able to cast magic of any sort. basically only nobles, people with connections or people that have already shown signs of magic profficiency are allowed to, which already boils down the number to very few people already

>Foreign Relations

Hithlone - Relations with the Terpsytheans are mostly cordial, although there have been attempts of Hithlone merchants to try and seize part of the dye production in the past. The Triarchy would support them in a war against the Drow.

Moreelse - Even though a fellow human nation, the relationship between the two aren't perfect. Despite Moreelse's nobles claiming resassuring the triarchy that the situation is under control, many Hydra's Eyes scientists have been disturbing the Triarchy's operations in the Kinogg Jungles, as well as pushing the White Death narcotic in the streets of Gaius.

Kinnog - The main source of slaves for the Triarchy. Slavers have built bases there that they use to comb out the jungles in search of elusive Orcs and Dwarves to capture.

SonQo Temples - The slavers avoid this place and for good reason. Nothing good can come from the cursed monks of the temples.

Red Lotus Congregation - Another source of slaves for the slavers of the Sisters. However, in the last years the Holy Guard have fought back mercilessly, even successfully repelling some of the raids.

Orc'Eire - Although they don't directly interact with the island of Orc'Eire, many of their orcs have been captured as slaves in the jungles of Kinnog. Therefore, these Orcs share a deep hatred not only for the Sistermen, but for all humans as a whole.

The Drow - Same goes for the Drow, although many Drow slaves in the Sisters are a result of the Triarchy's slavers buying them off the hands of human rebel groups in the Drow's lands.

The seventh son of a seventh son is a concept from folklore regarding special powers given to, or held by, such a son. To qualify as "the seventh son of a seventh son" one must be the seventh male child born in an unbroken line with no female siblings born between, and to a father who himself is the seventh male child born in an unbroken line with no female siblings born between.

There have been 5 (five) examples of this, among billions and billions of humans that have lived on earth. Card's book that explores this concept, in which the protagonist is the only one in the world that's a seventh son of a seventh son, so he's the only one that exhibits magical qualities.

I think a straight set of stairs would be better. The giant who climbed wish to ascend into the higher dimensions like in wuxia or xianxia.

It also then makes sense for the suns and stars to wish to go 'up'.

The Penroze stair model also makes the setting more boring because then all realms on the stair are 'equal' whereas a straight stair implies superiority and inferiority.

Like from the far-west the nothing creeps in which could be spill-over from a lower-worse stair whereas in the far west the Lord who came from the sky looks in and a leviathan so grand crashed into the ocean his body completely changed the ecosystem, water and sank a continent thus likely being spill over from a higher stair.

The stairs themselves should be considered much more metaphysical in nature than literal steps laid out in space. You are ascending trough dimensions who are analogous to steps.

We could also leave it ambiguous on whether the stair goes up or constantly goes in circles there is no-one really in setting who'd know which is true.

Lots of dimensions

Hell with the succubi and shit is one of the peroze dimenssions to the side so is the steep fall in terminus

The Nothingness spills over from a lower dimenssion or is the step crumbling.

The Leviathan and Lord came from a higher dimenssion

So every penroze step has vertical steps and every vertical step has penroze steps leading to effectively millions of dimenssions

Sure, but let's first agree on options for the poll. The 7th son thing only makes sense for a low fantasy setting not this. The options are:

- magic is a talent you get randomly
- everyone can learn magic with sufficient resources and dedicated training time
- magic is tied to bloodline stronger bloodline -stronger magic
- magic is tied to land some places are more magical than others and where you are born and grow up determines your magic potential
- magic are blessings given by divine beings, spirits or obtained trough contracts

Anything else that makes sense? Does any option here break canon?

One of the greatest powers that the Vzdoruye of Mossovoy hold is the power of ressurection. It's an incredibly rare phenomenon and it requires not only an almost intact, recently deceased body, but also the combination of both the necromancers and the fresh sculptors' sorcery at their full potential.

The ressurected person is also known as a "Rhodan". The few recorded instances of Rhodans have indicated that such person is not able to recall the memories of their past, but only the memories inplanted to them by the Vzdoruye. That, and the fact that the proccess of creating a Rhodan is so arduous and exhausting explains why the Vzdoruye refuse to perform it on foreigners, and rather only attempt it on their fallen leaders and necromancers.

Divine magic is mentioned in the Merfolk Empire, presumably certain other non-evil gods can supply it as well.

For orcs, so far we just have negative stereotype orcs of InGurLand, the Irish orcs on Orc'eire and jungle orcs in Kinnog and maybe a few other areas, plus some orcs in the remote parts of the drow city-states. There are plenty of other parts of the map where orcs could appear though.

>>85029863
>seventh son of a seventh son
Seems both needlessly restrictive, but also easily exploitable by those willing to have large families. Probably better to just say magic potential is somewhat rare and random, but clearly there are some ties to bloodline. Also female spellcasters have been referenced in the past.

this is the major problem of the 7th son thing

On the Autia worldbuilding threads "everyone" agreed that magic comes with a high physical cost/mutations, then no one ever mentioned it again because it was unpopular with the people actually doing the writing. I dont care about magic arguing, so heres some lore for a minor place:

In the western part of the Terrania Freehold, on the large Island known to the locals as the Isle of Speaking Trees, one can find the Chugaranni. The Chugaranni are a tribal people, said to be the result of spirits copulating with lost men from the north. They are dark if skin, with deep green eyes and hair, walking around the Island, hunting Game with crude Spears and singing songs they claim to be birthed as the world came to be. These people have an imoressive ability to speak to animals, spirits, and even to their revered talking trees. These trees are found all over the island, being large, with one or several wooden mouths protruding from the bark. It is said one can hear them whisper when walking alone, and the locals speak to them routinely, worshipping them as living gods.

The only permanent settlement on the island is the city of Ug, centred around the temple of the Old Man. The Old Man is the name if a giant, old talking tree which sits at the middle of the temple. Over 500 mouths are found on it, and trusted priests talk to it for days at a time, claiming to receive cryptic commands and words of wisdom from the tree.

our magic system should be like the witcher's, or something similar to it

>While a few simple spells, like a witcher's sign can be used by anyone, only those born with the power, known as Sources, are capable of truly wielding its incredible power.

>The power used to cast spells is drawn from the elements. Fire is the best but simultaneously most dangerous elemental source. Mages who specialize in the magic of fire often achieve great power, but they pay a price for it: as fire addicts, they often suffer burns or even die engulfed in flames. The essence of fire becomes their essence, which makes them vulnerable to water."

Alright, I forced myself to write up a Bobbitpost to distract from the weapons grade magical autism

Previous:
>he looked to Jugger, active and spry
>hugged him close, wishing to be wrong
>and gave his faithful friend one last goodbye
>"This place is not real, here I do not belong"

New:
>of his new friend, Bobbit now thought
how hard they'd worked, and the beasts they'd fought
>after all this, Bobbit would not surrender
>not without helping his moral defender

>his eyes shot open, his body straight up
>Bobbit had not returned from that phantom land
>his mission and goal he did now understand
>the knight's visions, Bobbit had to disrupt
>>
>>85032681
It wasn't my idea in the first place. Instead of assuming shit about me you could have given another explanation but you actively choose not to

I always find it funny how people still fail to recognize that spefici guy. but we must continue onto bobbitposting so we clear our minds

>stop pretending the lore is some sort of sacred cow. we have changed it before and we will change it again
We usually don't change things though except discussion that was never agreed to, and lore that was unpopular right from when it was initially posted. If we keep retconning everything the setting just turns into an incoherent mess.

>>85032684
A lot of people didn't participate in the poll since it forces you to chose between two bad options. Besides, polls can be rigged, I have seen people on /qst/ change their id multiple times in a short period of time just to prove this point.

>>85032662
These types of collaborative settings only work when writers have a certain amount of flexibility to do their own thing. Attempts to impose lore that applies to all regions despite the many different themes, histories, races, etc. that each have will inevitably fail.
>>
>>85032903
I have no idea why he wants to impose his silly little idea when so much lore has been written by many people beforehand that talks of many mages that are either women, not seventh sons of seventh sons, or non-humans. What an entitled spoiled brat.
>>
>>85032967
>not seventh sons of seventh sons
not him but where did anyone state that abou a mage?
>>
>>85032903
>polls can be rigged
Why would anyone rig a pol in a way where his favorite option does not win?
>>
>>85032992
Oh, so we now assume that every single magic practicioner in the Citadel, every single sorcerer in Avangar, every wizard in the Isle of Wizards, every pyromancer in Arangea, all those are seventh sons of seventh sons... So many seventh sons of seventh sons already.

Oh, and the answer's hidden somewhere in there

>>
>>85033088
it tastes good
>>
>>85033100
>So what IS this settings magic system?
Probably as diverse and borderline incoherent as the setting itself

You got leylines, bloodlines, magic granted by various entities, magic from manipulating magically infused materials, races with innate magic abilities, and who knows what else people will want to add at a later date

I think it would be interesting if there were few magic academies, due to entities in the weave of magic potentially seeing the casting of it, leading to non-divine magic causing a risk of extra dimensional attack. This also explains why wizards would go on adventures rather than just studying in towers, because that much magic in one place for so long can attract the attention of them.

this guy

They are not doing that though
>>
>>85033285
Not all of them, I just meant that it makes it so that there is any reason to go on adventures. Also, it makes it so that magic isn't just free power, but a risk that can be taken.
>>
>>85032684
Consider that there are four times as many votes as posters. That poll is basically worthless.

There are probably highwaymen in some parts of the Southeastern region. I know the Jiraxih tribes do a lot of raiding, so travelers going through their territory are likely to be robbed, and I would be surprised if there weren't highwaymen in the Blind Bastard's Domain

Alright campaign anon here. For Magic I'm just simplifying it to everybody has a bit of magic in them but you need it in vast quantities and have to be taught how to use it to actually be useful. A god can also bless you with magic, make pacts with deities to gain access to certain types of magic etc.

There are Spells which are codified, orderly, quick to use but not very impactful.

Raw magic which allows you to do more but there is a chance you could explode.

Rituals which increase the amount of magic you can Wield. Can be almost anything. Some of the effects may become permanent.

Now what varieties of magic exist in the setting? I want to try to represent most of what is available or leave it as an option.
>>
>>85033740

>>85033740
>Sand magic (mentioned in the Nerim/Corteau Canyon page)
>Blood Magic/Necromancy/Shadowbinding ("dark" arts, mentioned in Avangar)
>Flesh magic (something between surgery and necromancy, I guess)
>Pyromancy
>Cryomancy (?)
>Druid magic/nature magic
>Conch magic

none other come to my mind, but I'm sure there's some

Calcrabian Mountains, Isle of Wizards, Drow City-States, Kinnog, The Triachy, Terpsythea, Azan Empire, Daligrad Province, Witch-Elven Empire, and Avangar all use a template for lore which provide at least some info on a wide range of topics.

Off the top of my head, Orc’eire, Ogchuk, Moreelse, Dominion of the Bog-Witch, Drunigzar, the Khaganate, Okhost, Biblion, and a few others also have a decent amount of detail, but there are some gaps.

There are also some that are interesting gimmicks, but minimal lore, or have some interesting lore, but mostly specific to one topic like history.

Furlaniya region has the best maps, though its lore is a bit vague.

>>85033497
Several of the nations I wrote.

Also I hate it in general when people try to find backdoors that allow them to retcon many regions at once, even if nothing I wrote is affected

>>85033725
Lindworm Bridge was briefly mentioned on thread 10 as a possible wonder. It is a big bridge that connects the northern continent to the main one

>>85033740
>>85033769
>>85033779
Planar magic is mentioned at one point, but it high tier stuff only long lived autists have a shot at understanding.

Succubi and probably bog witches have "mind addling magic", bog witches also have geas.

Ash magic was also mentioned, probably for TES-type drow living in the volcanic ash plains.

>>85033904
Most new lore is not controversial. If it is: established lore takes precedence, really bad ideas (usually fetish stuff) can be vetoed, unpopular ideas that affect multiple regions should be ignored.
