Sorry for the wait, my work had people quit and another get hurt, so I ended up with more shifts then planned. Sorry for the wait.

>I haven't seen Big E outside of meal times lately.
>Most of my time is spent teaching scholars how to read 'Old Angli' or as I call it English.
>Magnus and Emps want more guys able to take over my translating work.
>I am back on the Emperor's flagship, so I got my sweet digs back.
>Malcador is running things back on Terra right now.
>Legos received another 'name' for his service and injury, ceremony took days.
>Damn, the Custodes really read off every name the person being rewarded has earned. Then they do it again with the new addition(s).
>>
>>75487548
>Emps spent some time with his sons, leaving me with even MORE tomes and records to translate.
>I am really getting tired of this, but at least my scholars are getting better by the day.
>It is nice to feel my personal skills are helping the Imperium.
>These records Magnus gave me, have already hinted at a 'psybeacon' in a near by sector.
>I think it might be a much weaker proto-Astronomican used by the old Federation.
>I try not to get my hopes up, it is likely just a Golden Age warp project.
>Hope is the first step to disappointment after all.
>In other news, we did find lots of fiction novels that were though lost. We sent out those novels to be re-released.
>We also used old census documents to find a few lost colonies. One of which had a STC fragments for solar panels and waste reclamation machines.
>I feel we are really doing good work here, so I have tried to keep my bitching to a low level.
>I am hoping to see some more worlds soon as I have been ship bound for months.
>At least I get plenty of visits, the Khan even made me a goblet made from a former PG's skull.
>Dumb bastard refused to be made a vassal and challenged Emps to a duel.
>Boss Man just stopped his heart on the spot.
>>
>>75487816
>Jaghatai was formally granted full control of his Legion.
>The White Scars marched in Triumph in the ruins of the former Capital of a World forcefully brought back into the fold.
>Thac'shai was under a sickening caste system.
>A race of xenos fish people had enslaved the human locals and used them as cannon fodder in their own wars between each other.
>The Khan and White Scars freed the slaves and butchered the xenos filth.
>I even got to personally see the crowds cheer when asked the slaves that fought besides us join the Triumph March.
>I wished Jaghatai well in the wars to come.
>>
>>75487996
>I have a meeting with Emps later today.
>As I walk down the hall, I notice several of the ships menials are circled around something.
>They are so engrossed in whatever they are watching, they don't notice me and my Solar Guards walk right up to them.
>I look over one hunched over menial to see a dataslate.
>Looks like a vid of some guy talking about something.
>"What are you guys watching." I ask.
>They all jump up a bit and look at me in shock.
>A Solar grabs the dataslate while the menials are staring at me.
>The Soldier then passes the slate to me and I finally understand what they were watching.
>A sermon.
>A sermon from an Imperial cult.
>That they were watching in a public hall.
>Fucking morons.
>We place the under arrest, call the ships rattings to deal with this.
>They will not be harmed just placed in classes to try and educate them on the Imperial Truth. Unless they have priors, then things get harsh.
>They could at least try and hide.
>>
Imperial Bump
>>
>>75488222
>We get to the meeting late.
>"Sorry, Emps. Got side tracked by another of your cults."
>"~They are hardly MY cults.~"
>"You get what I mean."
>HE gestures to my totally not a high chair, which I take seat in.
>Magnus and Fulgrim are also here.
>We have some time to chat and sip some refreshment first before we start.
>We go over how the plans are going.
>I mostly stay quite unless I have a suggestion.
>Emps lets us into what Curze has been doing.
>Seems Emps had the Night Haunter hunting Cabal agents and fucking up their plans.
>Soon Emps is gonna send me to help Curze with a Chaos threat he learned about from fighting the Cabal.
>That sounds fucking terrifying.
>>
>>75488382
>We are currently in orbit above a Dead World.
>We are here scouring the planet for some old stash Emps let behind as a rainy day fund.
>The bunker complex had some nice toys.
>We are talking a few thousand suits of a mass produced Power Armor from the Golden Age, seed vaults, and data archives.
>The techbois are having a party.
>>
>>75488500
>Our current stop was to take over a Garden World we found.
>No humans, just a race of Frog like xenos thae were just starting to explore their two small moons orbiting their homeworld.
>We Captured their small moon bases and turned the xenos to the techbois for study.
>Once we bombed all their major cities we sent in the Army to clear the country side. Only took a few weeks.
>Over all the damage to the world was limited, this planet will make a great frontier colony.
>The swamps here are stocked with fish and plants formerly raised by the Frog xenos. Techbois passed them for human use.
>Over all a great find.
>>
>>75488709
>Another message form Horus.
>He has found Planet Murder and is currently waiting for an Interrex patrol to make contact.
>How that goes well this time.
>The Plan is to inform the Interrex about that Chaos blade and destroy it.
>From there to establish a peaceful working relation to the Interrex.
>In happy news Davin and it's moon were both glassed.
>>
>>75488839
>The next few worlds we stopped at went quick.
>Most Human worlds were happy to join, the few Xenos we found were either single planet species or bound to their star system.
>We uplifted the Human worlds, cleansed the Xenos and turned their worlds into new colonies.
>One of the Xenos races was like the Asari from Mass Effect, but green and with no biotics.
>They were also insane and Nurgle worshippers.
>Their system had three habitable worlds we had to glass, such a waste...
>>
Pls keep posting Anon. It's 4am where I'm from and I need sleep. I'll be with you when I wake up!

>challenged Emps to a duel.
this man has balls i will give him that
>>
>>75489171
>We stopped back into Proper Imperial space.
>We are above a volcanic world called Nova Io.
>For a Volcanic Planet this place is actually nice.
>The Locals are focused on Surface mining the Vent fields, over 60,000 people live here.
>The Average person is actual crazy rich here by most average Imperium citizen standards.
>The few towns here have living standards above what I remember from Earth in my time.
>As we wait for Konrad's fleet to arrive, I visited the locals. Nice folks.
>Planet use to be a Death World when humans first settled it, was covered in 'megajungles' filled with beasts and acid swamps.
>Planets got hit by a comet.
>The few thousand human colonists survived in their Bunker Complex.
>The Impact actually made the world a lot nicer.
>>
Wait, is the average standard of living in the imperium higher or lower than ours right now? I know that people all kind of live under one ruler per planet, but the standard should be a bit higher
>>
>>75489396
>While we waited for Konrad's fleet we sent ships to the systems edge to drag back some comets for ice.
>Nova Io was paying us to give them a cut as well so great.
>As the crew was processing the Ice, a Spacehulk dropped from the Wrap.
>Good thing our fleet is massive, so we surronded the thing while we sent an Astartes group to scout the hulk.
>Other then a minor infestation of Orks, it was fine.
Some Techbois are gonna stay behind and salvage this hulk.
>Emps did some strange trick to keep the hulk from going back into the warp.
>Looks like Nova Io is gonna have another cash cow, the Mechanicum will get most of the loot, but the will make a killing supplying the techies.
>>
>>75489650
The average person on Nova Io is living like a multi-millionaire on modern Earth in a first world nation is, but with more tech.
>>
>>75489674
>We actually found a city of humans living in the deeper parts of the hulk.
>They had managed to keep a Gellar field generator running to cover their section of the hulk.
>These people had sealed off most of the hulk from their city to keep most of the Orks out.
>They were quite happy to see us.
>They are gonna be checked for any mutations and such and relocated to a frontier colony.
>They claim the where stranded on the hulk for a 400 years, but the section their city was in was an Imperial designed ship.
>Not sure how that works, but it is not worth my sanity.

>>

>Konrad has sent word he will be delayed.
>A world he was resupplying at had a major hurricane and he is helping the relief forces.
>Emps decided we will meet him half way instead.
>We are heading to a system called H-478 that has a Gas Giant named Gaia with three habitable moons.
>One Moon is a Hive world called Hemrit, Another is a Reserve World, used as a hunting/nature retreat for Hemrit's nobles and well off, the last is an Agriworld devoted to 'razorgrain' which sounds edgy.

>"~Anon, I have arranged a mentor to assist your training.~"
>I was in another Meeting with Emps and Sons.
>"Another? What am I too learn now? I thought I was to focus on translating and anti-chaos actions for now."
>Fulgrim nods at the Emperor while Magnus sighs.
>"~You will be assisting the 8th Legion with removing a possible Chaos threat. While you have worked with Astartes, you have not properly fought with them. You will be trained for this.~"
>"I am guessing I will be involved with the inter-legion Training between Fulgrim and Magnus's legions?"
>"For the record, I do not think Anon is ready for this, but I will withhold my objections due to your pick for this idea, Father." Magnus says.
>"I would like it on record, I don't think I can handle fighting along side Marines." I admit with no shame.
>Emps bops my head lightly.
>"~You will only be trained on how to properly work along side Marines, you will not be expected to fight at their level.~"
>Oh thank goodness, I still want those Luther augments.
>Emps just laughs.

>Each Legion took turns hunting me down while the other tried to protect me.
>Rylanor had me adjust to Transhuman dread by making me fight bouts with the Marines.
>I got my ass kicked repeatedly so I could try and understand more of how they thought... or something.
>I was honestly too sore to think much.
>But as we drew closer to Hemrit I felt I was less and less dead weight when running drill with the legions.

>Astartes are just... more.

>They think faster.
>There movements are rapid and controlled.
>I need to be able to control my awe and dread while being among these demigods.
>If I freeze up, they will have to cover for me even more.
>The Solars are joining me on this, and making me look bad.
>I am sorry, but seeing a squad of Marines charging me is pure terror!
>And the bouts make me feel hopeless.
>At least, I seem to be past freezing. Even if it is just panic firing instead of just standing their like an idiot.

>"What about risking friendly fire?"
>"You have bigger concerns against foes that are so much greater then you. You need to be able to switch to such a mind set depending on the foe you are fighting."

>Being dead tired Magnus basically drags me to the library we have scribes working on translating texts.
>He calls for a set of records and points at a section. "Right here, the Federation housed the beacon in the Phe'shi subsector on the nexus of the Old Trade routes. We are hoping you could get a more detailed read on where, being the foremost scholar on Old Angli."
>I down more herbal drink, gag a bit, the stuff is awful.
>"Give it here."
>I carefully study the section looking for context clues.
>I notice the stated need for Helium-3 for fusion to properly power the Colony that housed the Psybeacon.
>I think that means they needed a close by Gas Giant if I remember my classes right.
>"Based on this passage here, the colony needed massive local supplies of Helium-3, meaning we should screen for systems with Gas Giants. They could has imported it, but it is worth a shot."
>We poured over old records for more hints and narrowed the search from 89 star systems to 6.
>I think we did damn good.
>Eventual I gave up on returning to my suite and slept at my desk.
>>
>>75492853
>I was awoken by one of my butlers a several hours later.
>The Scribes and Magnus are still working on the texts and tomes non-stop.
>I have been ask to join Emps for breakfast, then I have the day off to rest.
>As we walked to the Emperor's personal dinning hall, I was informed of which nobles we would be eating with.
>We stopped by a restroom so I could freshen up a bit.
>Emps and I small tacked with the nobles and enjoyed the food.
>Emps is damned good at charming people a few of those nobles hated my guts, but he disarmed them around me like had done it millions of time.

>"You will pay for this! We answer to House Dr-"
>"You boys have fucked up." Razit talks over them. "Lord Anon, what should we due to this lot?"
>Upon hearing my name several of the guards drop their guns and raise their hands above their heads.
>The officer looks at me in horror.
>"Have the Local PDF detain these guards, place the family under my custody. This will be reported and investigated."
>Placing the cultists in mandatory re-education classes was one thing, killing them was not allowed out of hand!
>If this was the world's or even hives standard heads would roll.

Hos mad (x24)
You know it's the truth too. Greentext is just for people too scared to even attempt proper prose. If you aren't using it for a quick summary of events then you're using it wrong. Even in depth storytimes of actual games opt for actual paragraphs.

I don’t know, you can just feel how that’s going to backfire in the far future as Xenos turn to Daemons for help or to even older, sketchier Xenos. Then again the draw of Cupbearer Anon’s story is that he’s just a man. He is not a savior or ubermensch, but a dude who knows the universe and in over his head.
>>

Personally, i think it would make sense for Anon to be politically married to someone in the interex. The interex is probably the best empire for the imperium to hook up with, and Anon knows that they need all the help against chaos they can manage to grab.

Though for a real ship, Eldar would be classic but anon's distatse for them is very strong.

Tau GF would be fun, but they're like, still trying to figure out how fire works i assume at this point so that's a none starter.

tech Girl waifu is always my preference though

This post is magnificent. Cupanon and by extension the Emperor might not realize it but the Imperial Truth could spawn it's own cult backing as a poorman's shield against chaos. Because if a clear and rational mind can't keep poor ol' exhausted Joe Schmo from turning on his friends and family for unnatural power, then blind devotion has to be the next answer.
Also can't wait for the eldar visit to become a problem.

>>
>>75531414
Do take in consideration all eldar are psykers, but only powerful ones can actually do such things as read minds. Not only that but eldar and humans think very different, which when combined will end up being odd from the perspective of both humans and eldar. Those things will eventually make it clear something is different. One thing is for certain that will happen: do anything possible to meet Eldrad.
>>
>>75530211
Honestly cupanon should spear head that effort
>>
Maybe have the human ELDAR be a blank, or a hardcore parriah, immune to the warp, making it impossible for people to know what is in his mind.

Also less likely for ELDAR to kill one of their own for being a blank, since they value all ELDAR lives and stuff.
>>
>>75509942
In the far future, there are very scant few Xenos that have their own holdings enough to be of use to Chaos, let alone be developed to the point they're a threat.
That's as a direct result of culling them all early.
>>
>>75534186
On phone rn, I am not exactly sure if that would work, since from what I know regarding the lore eldar blanks are usually with the harlequins as the solitaires and have different implications. Unless I use some not so lore friendly ideas and some changes. So far I would maybe add some stuff concerning ranks or roles and so since we have very few lore on it.

Adding my voice to the pile for an Admech gf.

At this stage, most Mechanicus are fleshy, because the Cult has yet to be instituted, the idea of being close to the Omnissiah through that means isn't a thing.
Right now, Mars is full of scientists, and all of them have a new name on their lips to thank for all of the glorious tech they're able to dig into.
I would say that this solves a number of things... Mars needs to prep for any B plan that brings Chaos in, because they're still vulnerable as hell, the marriage would be political, as in, since Mars is still split on their opinions of the Emperor Yes, especially pre-heresy this would quiet anti-Emp sentiments. WTF I love the Emperor now!
But aside from that... lads. Koriel Zeth is alive and well. If you're going to shoot for the stars, it might as well be the Halo Stars, amirite?

But real talk, whoever it is should maybe be a Heretek of a flavor, get that nice 'reform the slut' thing going on.

They are using Anon's name and their status as his family to leverage their position. Anon was kinda distant with his family. He was kinda on cold terms with his Eldest Bro, but not hostile. Anon is kinda lost on that, he would like to either meet a reasonable dynasty/ make and agreement with the Silent King or try and cripple them by knocking out as many tomb worlds as possible.

Emps has been informed about Cadia.
>>
Has anon told the emperor about the black stone fortress.

While Terra holds the Imperial palace, a massive golden keep built by the exacting hands of Dorn, perturabo instead forges the Iron cage.

The iron cage is a massive series of fortresses and bastions and stations meant to contain and guard against the eye of terror, with the Iron fortress Cadia being the lock itself. Granted the title of Pratorian of the Eye, Perturabo used all of his skills and power to match and surpass his brother’s own achievements on Terra.
