>1. What is your name?
Alpharius
>2.What type of world did you land on? What was it's name?
I may or may not have landed on a world. Its name was also Alpharius.
>3. You are the Third Primarch found (right after Horus and Leman), what is your backstory before Big Daddy E finds you.
I am Alpharius
>4. Give a brief overview of your Legion. (Name, notable preferred tactics and quirks, heraldry, and etc.)
We're all Alpharius. Don't believe me? Just ask them.
>5. Your relationship with your brothers? How do you view them and they view you?
Things are pretty tense between us. There are many toms and Jims in the world, and many Scotts as well. But I... I am Alpharius.
They usually view us with their eyes, or through the viewing slits on their helmets.
>6. How did you and the 11th get blacklisted.
I'd tell you, but then I'd have to kill you.
>7. Your last words to Leman and the Emperor before they put you down.
I'll be back, don't you worry.

Malacath the Consular, Primarch of the Emperor’s Stewards
3: Adopted by scientists, studied extensively as a child, sometimes treated as a lab rat. As I matured I took control of the institution & became a conquered when a powerful warlord on the planet tried to burn books. Started a rebellion & killed him & took control of the planet after a time. Founded a Great Library. Found by the Emperor. & took over the Second Legion currently known as the Emperor’s Stewards
Founded a Great Library on Terra to rival the one I made on my Homeworld
4: Fleet based, scholarly, tend to be pensive & withdraw, focuses on cataloging & discovery
Heraldry, White Sword on Gold Tome
5: Withdrawn from Brothers, they think I’m autistic
6: Killed in Rangdan Xenocide, after being the one to fuck everything up so badly, Emps decided it was a huge clusterfuck & scratches my name out.
7: Leman didn’t end me, I called him a lunatic the last time we spoke

>What is your name?
Tartaros.
>What type of world did you land on? What was it's name?
A human world that was depopulated by Daemons which later vanished. Its name was Gaia, ironic for a dead world.
>You are the Third Primarch found (right after Horus and Leman), what is your backstory before Big Daddy E finds you.
He was found by Big E, who noticed the big fucking Blank aura there.
Since he didn't know how to function in human society and was emotionless, he was first educated to the point where he could actually lead and then given command of his Legion.
>Give a brief overview of your Legion. (Name, notable preferred tactics and quirks, heraldry, and etc.)
They are known as the Stonehearts (Primarch didn't change their name) because they were all Blunts, and they were a failed attempt to make a Legion of Blanks -- the Emperor ended up going with the Sisters of Silence instead.
They specialized in anti-Psychic warfare, going after some of the worst Psykers; however, they and the Primarch were purged in the Rangdan Xenocide after it turned out that their puppeteering wasn't Psychic.
Their armour was smooth grey and had no heraldry painted on it, since nobody really had enough of a personality to come up with any.
>Your relationship with your brothers? How do you view them and they view you?
Most of them didn't like to be around him, particularly Magnus, Lorgar, Konrad and Sanguinius. He didn't like or dislike anyone, though.
Russ was secretly a little happy that Tartaros was gone, even if he was unsettled about having to kill two Primarchs.
>How did you and the 11th get blacklisted.
The Rangdan Xenocide got the 2nd, but Tartaros didn't know or care why the 11th got expunged from history.
>Your last words to Leman and the Emperor before they put you down.
There were none.

>1. What is your name?
The Faggots.
>2.What type of world did you land on? What was it's name?
That's two questions, faggot. But the world was an idyllic human world with pleasant weather all year round. It was named: Gay. Because it's always happy weather
>3. You are the Third Primarch found (right after Horus and Leman), what is your backstory before Big Daddy E finds you.
I was one of the gay lovers of Horus and Leman. I was really good at the sex. Then Big Daddy E found me because he was looking for a new fuckboi as well. I didn't disappoint.
>4. Give a brief overview of your Legion. (Name, notable preferred tactics and quirks, heraldry, and etc.)
We are all about the "Brotherly Love" first and foremost, and thus all our tactics derive from how close we are to one another. To lose a battle brother is to also lose a lover.
>5. Your relationship with your brothers? How do you view them and they view you?
Again you should have split this up into two seperate questions, faggot. But anyway: All brothers are lovers to one another. I literally love all my brothers as a husband loves his wife, and so they do to me as well.
>6. How did you and the 11th get blacklisted.
What?
>7. Your last words to Leman and the Emperor before they put you down.

>2.What type of world did you land on? What was it's name?
A very boring, pastoralesque world called Southern Sun
>3. You are the Third Primarch found (right after Horus and Leman), what is your backstory before Big Daddy E finds you.
I put down a mutiny and boned the local leader's daughter even though she was much older than I am, not that attractive, and a bit of a buckethead. I did this by punching a bunch of people much smaller than I am and screaming warcries in surprisingly high pitches while driving around vehicles that have two horsepower.
>4. Give a brief overview of your Legion. (Name, notable preferred tactics and quirks, heraldry, and etc.)
They're called the Enforcers. Mostly they just stand around and cheer me on while I punch people.
>5. Your relationship with your brothers? How do you view them and they view you?
They think I'm an embarassment, and it is one of the reasons I disappear from history
>6. How did you and the 11th get blacklisted.
I don't know about the 11th, but when Daddy came over to the Southern Sun, he said 'Da fuck is this gay ass shit', and exterminatused the entire planet.
>7. Your last words to Leman and the Emperor before they put you down.

>1. What is your name?
Primaris
>2.What type of world did you land on? What was it's name?
Salim, a pre-industrial world going through its industrial revolution.
3. You are the Third Primarch found (right after Horus and Leman), what is your backstory before Big Daddy E finds you.
Primaris was brought in by apothecaries who got in with the industrialization to become a big pharmacy and medical company. While the world was growing more technologically advanced, their medicine was woefully primitive. Primaris made ardent strides, creating panaceas that reduced preventable deaths to modern levels. The apothecaries who brought him in became rich, and with their money he managed to put himself eventually into greater and greater positions to peacefully unite his world. None the less, he was haunted by diseases no science could treat, and only the 'old ways' could cure.
4. Give a brief overview of your Legion. (Name, notable preferred tactics and quirks, heraldry, and etc.)
Death Slayers, eventually shortened to Slayers as commen nomenclature. Primaris was never a brilliant commander like Horus or Lion, being on a strategic level as brilliant as Lorgar. Instead he benefited as a logistical genius along the lines of Gulliman, but where he truly shined was the apothecarions. They fielded a well rounded, balanced legion that benefited from unheard of numbers that dwarfed smaller legions due to incredible gene-seed acceptance rates possible due to pioneering techniques by Primaris.
5. Your relationship with your brothers? How do you view them and they view you?
Insular as a person, unimaginative as a general, and brilliant as an administrator, he'd have no fast friends but get along well enough with Gulliman, Perterabo, Vulkan, and of course Horus.
6. How did you and the 11th get blacklisted.
Trying to improve on Marines, and feuding.
7. Your last words to Leman and the Emperor before they put you down.
I can do better.

>1. What is your name?
Vahshna Gurah

>2.What type of world did you land on? What was it's name?
Dahl, a hive world that had fallen into chaotic ruin, rife with mutants. The world had a strict caste system based around the Indian caste system.

>3. You are the Third Primarch found (right after Horus and Leman), what is your backstory before Big Daddy E finds you.
Because of my size, strange features, and psyker powers I was made the lowest caste of Untouchables. I roiled with rage and helped lead a uprising that unfortunately ended in the death of millions. In the process I lost my left hand.

>4. Give a brief overview of your Legion. (Name, notable preferred tactics and quirks, heraldry, and etc.)
The Untouchables, known for their subterfuge and terrorist tactics. The quicks is that at my behest they excusively recruit from the lowest caste so small strange mutations abound. The gene seed effects these marines slightly differently forcing them to have slight physical quirks. The heraldry is a hand holding a chain.

>5. Your relationship with your brothers? How do you view them and they view you?
Tense at best, because of my time in the underhive my physical appearance has been warped. My legion for their own deformities are generally looked down upon by the others.

>6. How did you and the 11th get blacklisted.
I asked to be blacklisted after my legion turned traitor while I myself stayed loyal. This is what fueled the imperium’s policy against mutants. I myself fell into obscurity, perhaps still living somewhere in an underhive.

>1. What is your name?
Nebuchadnezzar
>2.What type of world did you land on? What was it's name?
Slammed into a massive dark age of technology colony ship named Nebuchadnezzar. The inhabitants of the ship have regressed to a feudal society. Each section of the ship is it's own kingdom with a massive agri-dome used to feed its people.
>3. You are the Third Primarch found (right after Horus and Leman), what is your backstory before Big Daddy E finds you.
A warp storm sent me back in time and caught a massive colony ship on the edge of the galaxy as it was about to set out to colonize a new one. My pod slammed into the ships engines, stranding it on the very edge of the galaxy. It remained unopened until the ships engines stopped bleeding radiation, thus allowing its inhabitants to explore the ruins of the ships engines. This coincided with the arrival of the primarchs on their respective home-worlds. The massive amount of radiation left me horribly disfigured but also greatly enhanced my intellect. I was raised by smiths in service to one of the Ship-kings my strength and technological knowledge grew rapidly as a result of near constant physical labour related to the maintenance of the ship and the construction of weapons. Eventually I gained access to the ships databases and my knowledge grew a thousand fold. I began with repairing the damage done to me by the radiation and quickly moved on to enhancing myself by any means possible. After years of serving under the yoke of my ship-king I raised a rebellion across all the kingdoms simultaneously. Armed with advanced weapons we claimed the agri-domes that fed the kingdoms and starved out the forces of the ship-kings. When the last ship-king was found alone in his quarters, having eaten the rest of his court, the emperor arrived in all his glory.

>1. What is your name?
It's been so long I've forgotten just as my brothers and the Emperor forgotten me. But I think it was Gadriel Arromon

>2.What type of world did you land on? What was it's name?
A planet called Deus. A Xeno/Human world that was cut off from the rest of the galaxy just before the age of strife because of a beacon luring ships into a intense gravity well generator and jammer surrounding the planet was basically a dead-zone that attracted ships and prevented ships from leaving or warning others. Ships would come, stop working and start getting pulled down into the atmosphere there were pre-age of strife Humans,Eldar,Orks and a few necrons who maintained the device and a whole lot of other unimportant aliens.I always wanted to know how the emperor would react to that other than just genocide.

>3. You are the Third Primarch found (right after Horus and Leman), what is your backstory before Big Daddy E finds you.
He found me a few years after uniting the planet under our rule. It was originally a free for all but the Humans and Eldar decide it would be best to actually work together since everything else on this planet is out to kill them and over time the bonds strengthened and as a result I was raised by them by them. For a while everything was stable enough and the war was getting closer and closer to the end, the mutations that racked his body started to destabilize and a number of the organs started to fail and turn cancerousA planet like this happened before in cannon before the Salamanders torched a planet that Eldar and Humans lived together

>1. What is your name?

Icaron

>2.What type of world did you land on? What was it's name?

Human controlled, scholar world, Telescrutus.

>3. You are the Third Primarch found (right after Horus and Leman), what is your backstory before Big Daddy E finds you.

Telescrutus was forgotten during the long night and lost all knowledge and capability for warp travel. When I (Icaron) landed I was welcomed in by the scholars who now have proof of life beyond Telescrutus (due to my rapid growth and supernatural abilities). I was fostered by a local leader who taught me their method of science and their desire to learn as much about the nature of the universe as possible.

>4. Give a brief overview of your Legion.

The seekers, we use overwhelming firepower to crush armies but surgical strikes to eliminate rival leadership. The legion is extremely inquisitive and takes additional time to learn more about the worlds they conquer.

>5. Your relationship with your brothers? How do you view them and they view you?

Magnus and I share a bond through our shared passion for learning. Horus, Guilliman and Perturabo appreciate learning about useful technology.

Lorgar disdains me for not believing in higher powers.

>6. How did you and the 11th get blacklisted.

After being found by the Emperor and having Telescrutus brought into the fold the scholarly endeavours of the scientists continued. But now they knew to look not just into the night sky but into the souls of men and the warp.

While Icaron and the Seekers were pacifying an Ork uprising in a nearby sector a signal was received telling of an enormous breakthrough on Telescrutus. Honour was disregarded and rather than finishing the Ork leader personal Icaron ordered the orbital bombardment of his stronghold while he made arrangements to travel home.

Icaron wasted no time in transit and upon arrival ordered a report from the scientists about their discovery.

Continued:

The lead team refused to elaborate and instead encouraged Icaron and his captains to come and see for themselves at the capital. Enraged at their evasiveness Icaron gathered his Captains.. and their terminator squads.

Teleportation enabled quick transit into the labs and while nothing was obviously afoot the staff seemed frazzled and not as Icaron remembered. This was attributed to Icaron believing they were merely surprised by the arrival of what seemed like a surgical strikeforce. They were then greeted by Helios, the scientist prime who reported the find. Icaron demanded answers and Helios now that he had transgressed against his lord and for a moment felt fear but that fear flickered and disappeared once he remembered his task. "My lord Icaron, my team and I have found a network of tunnels within the warp and we have found an entrance here on Telescrutus".
Fearing xenos invasion from such an access, Icaron demanded the coordinates and made for the archaeological site immediately.

Icaron and his Seekers then attempted to secure the site and what appeared to be the entrance was sealed. Comms then went down and the only voice that could be heard was Helios and he was screaming out that he had delivered his lord. The door to the webway opened, but unlike the networks of the Aeldari this one was a festering hive of enslavers.

The world went silent moments later and it wasn't until weeks later that an expeditionary fleet found what had happened. The lead expeditionary astropath was quick enough to send out an emergency communique to any and all Imperial forces within range before losing control to the intelligences on the planet's surface.

A brief flicker of awareness allowed Icaron to beg for death before throwing himself at his brother and gene father.

>4. Give a brief overview of your Legion. (Name, notable preferred tactics and quirks, heraldry, and etc.)
Voidborn
Ship to ship and boarding/breaching tactics. Primarily a naval legion, the Voidborn will bombard targeted planets in order to soften enemy resistance, even to the determent of the planet's strategic value.
The legion's marines boast a high degree of radiation resistance and a highly resilient cocoon that forms around any part of the marine that is exposed to the environment of space. While the voidborn are typically extremely intelligent they also bear a high risk of insantity that manifests itself in the form of extreme body modifications, both genetic and cybernetic.
>5. Your relationship with your brothers? How do you view them and they view you?

The emperor had finally had enough of my experiments on my own gene-sons. He demanded that I cease my unsupervised and unapproved experiments. I refused. He and Leman laid waste to my fleet. The Forgotten. Their tactics in the beginning included anything that was needed, from Skirmishes to sieges they could have done it all until the mutations started to worsen and it could strike at any moment The mutation would cause the gene-seed organs to fail and turn into cancer afterwards their specialty was relegated to support of Astra Militarum units and were very well liked by them. Our symbol was a wilting rose with it's petals falling.

>5. Your relationship with your brothers? How do you view them and they view you?
They were all men who one can look up to with pride and hope to learn more from. They might not like me since my legion isn't as strong but the 11th is closest brother.

> Name
Kythras Sigma-Rho
>What name/type of world
Ephor Quaterary, one of several moons orbiting a gas giant. Nominally a Mechanicum world, due to claims on pre-DAoT ruins.
> Life beforehand
Appeared in the base camp amidst of an excavation, inexplicably fully grown, insisting that he had been raised in the Forges existing on this spot, mentored by a Magos who currently exists, but is barely an initiate.
>Legion name/tactics/quirks
The Oracle Marines were universally gifted with a flawed form of foresight. Their heraldry being a trio of hourglasses set at differing times. While effective at ambushes and coordinated attacks, possible futures became indistinguishable from current reality. Grim fatalism gripped battle brothers convinced they knew the time and means of their death.
>Relationship with other Primarchs
Strained to say the least. Russ in particular was wary of such prophesy as being warpcraft. Curze sympathized, but was gripped by a similar madness. A possible Horus Heresy fought with a Dornian Heresy fought with a Guilliman Heresy. All were suspect.
>How blacklisted
Temporal disruption became too unstable; fatally wounded marines reverted to healthy, only to further revert to pre-implantation of geneseed. Massed forces warped time, leading to delays in combat, or for allied forces to age rapidly to dust. Kythras 'Hrud-Touched' and his legion were cursed.

So I wrote this fucking massive thing AND THEN realized OP wanted a self-insert. So, fuck. Here ya go anyway.

>Solus the Cryptic

>The third Primarch landed on a burgeoning world where life was just showing its first steps. A hot, barren place where primordial soup boils in pools that dot the landscape. Passed over a thousand times for its utter worthlessness, its void of any resource of value.

>For his entire life, Solus lived off of the essence of life, never developing even basic skills. Even for a Primarch, it was miraculous that he could have survived to adulthood in such a place.

>When found, no expense was spared in getting him 'up to speed'. Typical of the Emperor's child, even despite being so stunted Solus quickly proved prodigious. He never completely overcame his origins, but lessons were not lost on him, and he even developed quite the ambition-- always silently smug about his survival, believing himself either protected by a divine force or simply stronger than his brothers.

>Never did he let on to his 'superiority'. No, in fact, most considered Solus uncharacteristically humble for a Primarch. He was silent and stoic, viewed either as thoughtful or unsure depending on who you asked. He was often described as looking like he was even afraid, hunched in on himself and bug-eyed, speaking in a stuttering whimper. It was ironic that his complete lack of social development afforded him the advantage of hiding his true nature.
>>
>>65067889
>He did not inspire a warrior's spirit in many, so often seen as a wretch among the Primarchs. His legion was small, but he desired strength and ambition like his own in his men. To this end he individually spoke with all of his relatively meager numbers. Nobody knows what was said in these meetings but it is known that men were reborn by speaking to Solus, developing grand ambitions, a terrible thirst for strength and prestige that often went unspoken. His gene-seed imbued Marines with an utterly unnatural survivability. His Legion, now known as the Silent Seekers, would often deploy in very small groups, or even alone against overwhelming odds, seeking their tale of survival like Solus' own.

>The small size of his Legion put them under command of Horus' Luna Wolves, but they clandestinely defied their command by embarking on sole missions and often succeeding. With his deceptive nature, Solus had become a master of subterfuge, hiding his Legion's defiance. Horus, when learning of this deception, demanded a confrontation with Solus. In their meeting, Horus, guided by Chaos, recognized the ambition and arrogance Solus hid behind his pathetic demeanor. In return for loyalty, Solus was promised recognition. Horus claimed the Luna Wolves would bow to the Silent Seekers and follow their orders. Solus was enamoured with the vision of the Seekers being seen as the leaders among Legions, and himself seen as the pack header of Primarchs, so he accepted.
>>
>>65067889
>>65067905

>When faced with the Emperor, Solus at first considered his usual approach of deceit. He intended to cower before the Emperor and beg, hoping to play on his mercy only to strike him down with suddenness. However, when the confrontation occurred, Solus could not bring himself to stoop so low any longer. Instead, he stood straight for the first time any had seen, and took up his hands in defiance. In his final moments he barked resentment and defiance at his father and at humanity at large.

>"You all cursed me to die! You relish it! You fear and hate that I refused! You think you can kill me?! Nothing can kill me!"

Aquitaine, a feudal world grown out of a DAoT themepark world.
>3. What is your backstory before the big E finds you?
Found by a "wizard", who is actually the supervisory AI from when the world was still a tourist destination, the wizard gives the child to a local lord to raise, which he does, alongside his own children. Obviously Primarchness outpaces humans and Mereo becomes a great warrior and leader but is a rubbish logistician and strategist.
Fortunately he is also wise enough to recognise this and find people who aren't, giving him enough power to impose detente on Aquitaine so he can hunt mutants, chase girls and so on.
>4. A brief overview of your Legion.
The Dawn Paragons, the second legion that was, were the testbed for new ideas coming through the Principia Bellicosa etc, their companies are specialised far more than the average, but they also never operate on as small a scale as some, the Paragons never deploy less than a battalion and rarely less than a brigade, preferring to hit the enemy with overwhelming force immediately at their strongest point.
Heraldry is grey, with flashes of blue, black or green, depending on company, symbols are frequently those of other legions in Paragons colours, borne to honour their brethren, but a stylised sun also appears.
>5. How is your relationship with your brothers?
Mereo retains a relationship with his foster-siblings, one of whom is the legion primus medicae and the other a divisional commander. Actually growing up with brothers has made his acquisition of gene siblings take on a different importance to him, "brother" is much more than a word and he is unabashedly affectionate to his genekin, which combined with a sunny, open disposition and a humble nature, makes him well-loved by his brothers.

>6. How did you and the 11th get blacklisted?
The crime of the 11th was failure. At some stage during the Rangdan Xenocides the 11th in its entirety runs into the Rangdan fleet, when the Dark Angels come to investigate there are no survivors and the 11th's primarch is missing.
Obviously the Imperium can't go around losing track of demigods so the scatterings of the 11th not at the battle get sent to work for Bobby G and everyone pretends this is fine.
The 2nd meanwhile, is mobilised to head for the conflict, Mereo is rounding up his forces on Aquitaine when an 11th legion strike cruiser pops out of the warp, burns for the planet and then fires an extremely exotic energy projectile at the planet whilst the Second are still stuck on the idea that this is happening.
Ten minutes later, an entire world, along with most of a space marine legion, is sitting inside a crystalline stasis orb, the 11th legion ship has flown into the sun and the imperium has an other primarch to deny it ever had.
>7. "Last words to Leman? Why, "woof!", of course. Don't worry, he'll get the joke."
I also wrote these fuckers a codex and a bunch of lore over the last decade or so.

Using pic related to give me ideas
>1. What is your name?
Atreus
>2.What type of world did you land on? What was it's name?
The world of Krysos. A technologically advanced world embroiled in perpetual warfare between petty princes and kings that was united by me.
>3. You are the Third Primarch found (right after Horus and Leman), what is your backstory before Big Daddy E finds you.
Upon arriving on the world I was taken in by a minor nobleman, after a series of corrupt acts by their king overthrew him and declared an aristocratic republic and set about subduing the various princes in wars of conquest. Not long before the Emperor's arrival he had battled and defeated a major coalition and with it the last resistance to him collapsed.
>4. Give a brief overview of your Legion. (Name, notable preferred tactics and quirks, heraldry, and etc.)
Void Knights, heraldry is a a silver horse rampant on a black background. They tend to prefer heavy handed breakthrough tactics and void warfare with a great emphasis on utilizing human auxiliaries and swordsmanship. They tended to fight at the very peripheries of the Imperium.

>5. Your relationship with your brothers? How do you view them and they view you?
Got along well with the more civilized and less bellicose primarchs such as Dorn, Guilliman, and Fulgrim, respected many of the more brutal primarchs such as Ferrus and Perturabo for efficiency if nothing else, particularly held contempt towards Lorgar as useless and towards Corax and Alpharius for underhanded and to him needlessly complex tactics.

>6. How did you and the 11th get blacklisted.
During the Rangdan Xenocide arguments regarding the execution of the war resulted in the I and II legions fighting separately instead of combining their forces. Eventually my legion was threatened with annihilation, Lion assisted in rescuing my legion, but not before I was killed in battle.

The 2nd Legion exists to this day in the 41st millennium. They have a unique psycho-genetic mutation that makes them slip from memory. They are are an anonymous legion, there is no mention of their presence in history, as if they don't exist due to this unique flaw. The... what were we talking about? Ah yes, the 2nd legion? They were expunged from history nothing is known about them.

>2
A desert world with a small population, very little food and water and ravaged by fuel wars called Anarchi

>3
They sent a distress call after being surrounded by bandits. Despite a formidable defence they were losing until emps showed up and recognised his child

The Silent Spears, a legion of very few members given the lack of sutible candidates off a female primarch. With limited numbers they employ stealth and long range to conserve numbers. They are frailer, but faster thinking and more tactical, a quirk from a less physically able primarch. They employ a colour scheme of black, green and brown for extra camouflage

>5
Rather tense with them to say the least. Her being a woman left questions about if she even was a primarch, and her lack of marines made them question if she was even a useful part of the emperor's legions. She still was trying however, and her tactical approach helped to secure many key victories working alongside her fellow men, especially those with similar safer tactics

>6
As the heresy started claiming the lives of her brothers she realised it was a hard choice of trying to lay low as normal or help one of the warring sides. She came to the hard decision to attempt to assassinate one of the traitor primarchs, specifically Fulgrim for his crimes of slaying her brother Ferrus Manus. It ended very poorly, with all but a few dozen of her legion falling in battle against the traitor legion. She would place herself into self exile, and her remaining marines were liquidated into other legions, essentially ending her chapter's line. She was last spotted in what is now Tau space in M33, and while she may still be alive it is unlikely she will show her face in imperial space any time soon

More self-insert-y than Solus.

>Vlastin Strastov
>Landed on a world once Imperial-ruled, lost during the Age of Strife. It's regressed to archaic levels of technology(think late 1800s/early 1900s) and completely lost the faith, instead essentially showcasing the worst elements of Imperial rule through a corrupt ruling class with too much power and too little sense.
>When he was found, he was at first stuck in an orphanage in the slums. But in his youth, when he displayed his prowess in basically anything he tried, he piqued the interest of nobility. There was a bidding war for who would get to adopt him, and a lord-governor won it, taking him as a son and naming him where he'd previously had no name. His father abused him, demanding he work and study hard and impressing on him the importance that the rich stay rich and the poor stay poor, claiming "we're smarter than them, better stock, they would hurt themselves with power". All of this came despite Vlastin growing up among the lower class and not being blood related to the lord-governor. And being more competent, at that. As a young adult he fraternized with criminal elements at his father's behest, the lord seeking to exploit them. Organized crime introduced him to an underground revolutionary group, which he joined, running from home. Within a few years, he was a leader, and he inspired the working class to join him through his charisma. Eventually he overthrew the government of the planet, personally killing his father and establishing a social anarchist society. The seeds of liberty and equality were watered with the blood of patriots and tyrants. Only after the peoples' rule was in full swing did Big E come down, congratulate the people on taking power, and speak with his third child.
>>
>>65070175
>Vlastin would go on to found the Guns of Man. The Guns were nameless, faceless, and voiceless to all outsiders. Not men, not heroes, but a force, the natural conclusion to tyranny. Addicted to the pride and rush of uplifting the oppressed, Vlastin and the Guns of Man would go on to find thousands of worlds lost in strife and ruled by the remains of old power, the corruption of chaos, and xeno rulers, claiming them all for the Imperium and for freedom.
>When he wasn't leading campaigns, Vlastin quite enjoyed discussions of political and moral philosophy. He engaged in correspondences with many other Primarchs, primarily the Lion, Roboute Guilliman, Corvus Corax and Rogal Dorn, as the other Primarchs had little interest in such discussions. While the Primarchs he was close to admired his dedication to his ideals and their good intentions, most Primarchs believed him too dedicated and even knew that his ideas did not mesh with the Imperium's actual system of government.
>After some time of seeing freed worlds ultimately decline into the "defensive oppression" as he referred to the Imperial government, or simply be abandoned for lack of resources, Vlastin grew cynical and depressed. His correspondences slowed and his ideals became watered down. Some high-ranking Guns of Man were allowed identifying marks, something he had previously disallowed in the hopes of maintaining their uniform image. His personal presence on the battlefield waned as he instead chose to order units from above, and he dismissed many of his close advisors.
>>
>>65070175
>>65070188
>It was Lorgar who ultimately swayed Vlastin away from the Emperor. He began to correspond with Vlastin, speaking in terms the revolutionary understood, feeding into his strong beliefs and slowly hinting that the Emperor himself was the source of tyranny and oppression. After some time Lorgar spoke of beings stronger than the Emperor who would free the universe forever. Slowly, Vlastin was turned to the ruinous powers, and when the time came to besiege Terra, Vlastin was prepared for the greatest liberation in the history of mankind-- its liberation from itself, and its introduction to the freedom of perfection.
>During the siege on Terra, Vlastin removed identifying marks from the Guns of Man. They fought in their former glory, as did he. But in his greatest moment, as the Guns of Man held against and even began to drive back the arriving Ultramarine force, he saw what horror he had wrought. Backed against the Imperial capital, Vlastin saw the horror of Chaos as the Emperor's Children slaughter innocents en masse, and knew he had been tricked. Utterly dejected and in tears, the Primarch resolved to face down his father. He wept until he could no more while he fought to the throne room and faced down the Emperor.
>"Emperor, Father. Are you not tired? Does this suffering just to beget suffering not exhaust you so? I am... so tired. I have fought and toiled and won for men to be crushed under the bootheels of their fellow men. Tell me we fight for something, please. Or else kill me."

>1. What is your name?

>2.What type of world did you land on? What was it's name?
Agri World called Daedalan III

>3. You are the Third Primarch found (right after Horus and Leman), what is your backstory before Big Daddy E finds you.
Spent most of childhood working on agriculture until the local noble began partaking in "prima nocta" too much and caused a local revolt. I ended up putting it down and gaining a position in the noble's court. Years of my assistance helped the noble expand into a King, but i was evenutally seen as a threat by the upcoming Prince and after a failed assissination i took control. Then i began work improving the land, and with that came War. War was a necessary action, as were some on the acts i took in it, but eventually i took control of the planet. It was either Join, Serve or Die. Many religions came and went, but i never believed in any greater power - but the lessons from those religious texts were useful with some context.

>4. Give a brief overview of your Legion. (Name, notable preferred tactics and quirks, heraldry, and etc.)
I took this philosophy of constant improvement and materialism into the then called Dawnbringers and kept the name - it fit well.
The only dangerous act i took with my Legion was to dramatically allow as many people in as possible to join. i allowed anyone human to join. This meant young babies to elderly men tried to join. My logic was to filter out only the best of the widest possible sieve and i had much higher consumption of resources than even Lorgar and his Word Bearers. This meant most of my time was not in fact leading campaigns but instead sending my sons off while i made sure standards and culture were kept. Chaplains were a huge part of my efforts, thanks to their help the Legion was maintained. In addition to this a constant self reflection meant that the Legion was slow to act, and could change rapidly - Ferrus once said that i was like a man with a Forge who threw all sorts of metals into the mix to see what alloys would come out. He liked that approached but warned that it was too costly to maintain for very long, we did not have the luxury of time.

Our tactics varied depending on what chapter you were in contact with - we were mainly speicalists, rather than all rounders like the Ultramarines. But i made sure that at least 50% of the Chapters didn't overfocus and become lazy if their role wasn't needed.

>5. Your relationship with your brothers? How do you view them and they view you?
Got on really well with Lorgar, Perturabo, Magnus. We were happy to debate at any time and i had fond memories of our time together - i could never really believe what Magnus could do, although Lorgar's reliance on a deity to worship always made me uneasy. Decent working relationship with Roboute though we disagreed on the long term implications Xenos sensibilites. Dorn didn't like me for a reason i never found and the Khan kept his distance. Sanguinius and Horus were brothers i always aspired to be, but could never match in dealing with people. I even asked Fulgrim for help, and i happily returned the favour whenever he needed. I stayed away from Mortarion, Lionel and Leman. I couldn't stand their arrogance and hypocrisy. Vulkan and Ferrus were great artists, but i never had the time to spare to empathise with that.
I always had time for Angron and Curze if i could. They were brothers that needed serious help, but neither wanted it. Either they were too proud, or they wanted to deal with it alone, i respected that. Never met Corax, Alpharius or 11.

>6. How did you and the 11th get blacklisted.
I saw no problem with Xenos so long as they kowtowed to the Imperial Truth and had some actual uses to Humanity as a whole. Father wanted them exterminated. I offered treatises upon treatises on ways parts of the Imperium could adapt faster and improve while still being part of a unified governement, but some planets who openly supported me broke away and i was deemed too toxic towards the overall stability of the Imperium. I have no idea what the 11th did.

>7. Your last words to Leman and the Emperor before they put you down.
"Father why won't you do this yourself? Your hand brought me life at least have the decency to take it the same way."
>After the fight
"Cast out and...butchered without valour, reason...or honour. I...pity you..."

Pretty good, like the names and how you outlined relations with every Primarch. A little too "good guy"ish, though, I think in a lot of cases the Horus Heresy is a story about the road to hell being paved with good intentions, this guy seems like he's just right and his only flaw is being too nice and too good.

Bronscipon

>2.What type of world?
Akkadesh, a dusty feudal world of no real Imperial importance.

>3. You are the Third Primarch found (right after Horus and Leman), what is your backstory before Big Daddy E finds you.
He became king of allied tribes after the death of his adopted older brother. According to a remembrancer, he led a fleet down to the ocean kingdoms where 32 kings allied to fight him. Bronscipon was victorious and looted their cities, along with other expeditions to kingdoms around the hemisphere. He also sailed a fleet that eventually traded with 37 other nations, conquered the cities that defied his warband, and rebuilt the destroyed temple of Anu, a bull-like diety. He thwarted an assassination attempt by members of his own court, and an in the turbulent days that followed the Emperor arrived to the planet & brought about wider peace. Until Bronscipon left the Emperor's court to destroy one final warlord who had slighted him. Brons' successful attack upon the city of Nippur is what many say led to the eventual downfall of his legion. When prompted by a pair of inauspicious oracles, Brons sacked the Alkur temple, supposedly protected by the god Anlilt, head of the pantheon. As a result of this, four chief deities of the Akkadeshi pantheon were supposed to have come together & withdrawn their support from Bronscipon.

>4. Give a brief overview of your Legion.
The Rust Aurochs. Ship sailors second to none. They were known for debarkation attacks. Cared little for their vessels or home. Highly suspicious of outsiders and siblings as their society and home world climate couldn't support large families. Brons was unique in having a brother.

Eresh. Desolate world of deserts and tundras ruled by advanced sky-cities, where the nomadic ground-castes serve the lords on high.
>3.
I was taken in by a clan of nomads that range the barren wilds of Eresh. The noble houses of the vaunted sky-cities often entrusted their sons to these forever-pilgrims, to teach them of life's harshness, hone their instincts, and learn the secret fighting arts of these hardy people. It was through this tradition that I caught the eye of a royal heir, and was adopted into his family. With the wondrous technology of the noble houses at my disposal, I began to investigate what made me so different from other men, and how to elevate my fellow Ereshans to such heights. In doing so I made many alterations to my own genetics, opening pathways that had seemingly been closed by intention, and discovering that I was certainly a designed being. It was not surprising, then, when Father arrived on his heavenly chariot, nor was the revelation of my purpose. In hindsight, though, I should have been cautious of this absent patriarch. We all should have been.
>4. We were cesious, nigricant grey and banner white, trimmed with the blue of the Ereshan maiden-lotus - blue like our eyes, which saw more finely than those of other Astartes, more often than not peering a step ahead of the present. We called ourselves the Knights Mendicant, we were warriors and poets, our will set toward bettering mankind. Strength in self-knowing and valour were our tenets. Excellence in blademanship and swiftness in battle were our hallmarks; we were dragon slayers, striking first and hard, whether from afar or close. Always seeking to expedite victory and spare lives. We were hopelessly naive.
>>
>>65072716
>5
I believed myself to have many friends among my brothers, and even those I found boorish I tried to respect. They called me sword-scholar, blade-poet, warrior-doctor. Many nights were spent poring over the defects in my brothers' geneseeds, trying to mend that which was broken. I sometimes wish I had more time - for the Red Angel especially, it pained me to see those blasted nails tearing at his mind.
>6
I became obsessed with the strangeness in our genetic sequence. When Father first found me, he hadn't realized how fully I'd subverted his intentions, but eventually my rabid curiosity drew his ire. The instability in us, the way we took strange shapes, it perplexed me. I removed limitations that Father had designed for reasons he considered inviolable, I explored the utmost limits of how the Astartes form could twist and flow. I opened the channels that gave my brothers their unique traits, combining them in new and startling ways, pushing my capabilities and those of my sons to the limits, and came to understand that there was something wholly unnatural in our composition, something... Chaotic. I confronted Father with my discoveries and demanded that he tell the others what I had found, that they had a right to know what otherwordly horrors he had bartered with to craft our miraculous forms. He was not happy.
>7
"I will see you lose everything." And I told true. With my final bite, I perpetuated my existence through Russ' geneseed. I exist in every of his sons, a memetic curse, whispering a torrent of destructive impulses into their very souls, spreading the damage of their broken geneseed. I have become the ultimate shapeshifter, the final were-wolf, and when the damage to the Sons of Fenris becomes truly irrevocable I will be reborn. And I will have no more kindness in me, or love, or anything but contempt for my brothers and their sons.

The legion was attacked by xenos organims turning them into mutant monstrosities, Chevrelios and what was left of the Legion fiercely fought them, but it was to late, while Big E and Leman fought the monstrous remains of the legion, Chevrelios Crashed his ship against the bulk of the infected ones and all of the blew out together, althought a searching party was sent a powerful warp storm swoop the area and it had to be canceled

>1. What is your name?
Hermax Phyrenimos
>2. What type of world did you land on? What was its' name?
Runix, a sparsely-populated feral world with roaming human nomads engaged in a perpetual deadlock with ork hordes.
>3. You are the Third Primarch found (right after Horus and Leman), what is your backstory before Big Daddy E finds you.
Hermax' gestation pod landed in the middle of a raging fight between a roving tribe of humans and a clan of orks, splattering the latter's warboss all over the ground. Instinctively, a small group of orks gathered around the pod, expecting some incredible enemy to come out of it and face them, but instead... a psychic scream came out from within, and it was so powerful it flooded the minds of all within ten kilometers with a terrible urge to flee. Making his way out after the fact, Hermax instinctively followed the trail left by human warriors, all the way until he reached their village. There, he was hailed as their messiah, for the fight was bringing them horrible losses and the warboss' death as well as the chance to disengage safely was a blessing indeed. In the end, Hermax was directly adopted by the chieftain, who, to his abject horror, later realized that the screams akin to the one that filled him and his warriors with primal fear before would continue happening quite regularly. Despite this, he still did his best to raise Hermax into his successor.

>4. Give a brief overview of your Legion.
When Hermax took control of his Legion, the Ruin Criers, the ones marked by a majestic horn with a stream of blood pouring out of it, he came to understand that each of his Sons was a psyker in some capacity and suffered from the same problem of involuntarily emitting screams into the warp that messed with people's minds. Through experimentation he found that when the Criers were close together, their screams came out in unison and resulted in a powerful reasonance, sometimes strong enough to rival that of the primarch's. Hermax designed their modus operandi around the idea of a massive scream leading enemies to lose their ground, then following that with a decisive charge to wipe them out at their weakest. The Legion has been known to keep a group of untouchables to be deployed during strategy meetings, so important discussion wouldn't be interrupted by collective outbreaks.
>5. Your relationship with your brothers? How do you view them and they view you?
Phyrenimos was viewed with distruct due to his peculiar condition, and since his Sons have always been a major problem for other Legions to be around, for the psychic outbursts would influence them just as much as the enemy, most of his brothers resented him. Despite this, the Primarch had a mutual understanding with Magnus the Red and Konrad Curze, who understood his position better than anybody else.
>6. How did you get blacklisted?
As the Great Crusade went on, more and more casualties were caused by the Ruin Criers' horrific screams, driving many those reinforcing them mad, deciding that letting this go on any longer would be a horrible mistake, the Emperor decided to take the matters into his hands and deal with the issue once and for all.

>1. What is your name?
Maximus Nous
>2.What type of world did you land on? What was it's name?
He didn't land. Instead he was intercepted in orbit over world that was mostly uninhabited by humans due to not actually having conditions for human life without heavy gene modification. Someone supposedly sabotaged the colonisation attempt by entering wrong coordinates into the colony ship data centre and as a result people mostly lived in orbital habitats. Name of the world was Zoe.
>3. You are the Third Primarch found (right after Horus and Leman), what is your backstory before Big Daddy E finds you.
For a human Maximus was pretty strong but he couldn't stack up even against an average space marine. His mind on the other hand was every bit as sharp as that of other primarchs and all encompassing. As in he could get really good at anything he would study and be able to keep on par with greatest experts in the field. But his real passion was technology. Orbital habitats of Zoe fascinated him but had many flaws due to limited colony resources and not enough specialists. He remedied that. By the time Big E found him people lived all over the system and flourished.
>4. Give a brief overview of your Legion. (Name, notable preferred tactics and quirks, heraldry, and etc.)
Star Swords. Specifically their speciality was space combat - both ship to ship and assault on space stations and the like. They complimented the usual marine ships with much heavier presence of more directly combat focused variants which were built at Zoe shipyards. Many of which were not patterned fully off standard variants.
>5. Your relationship with your brothers? How do you view them and they view you?
Everyone of his brothers and even his farther seen as weak. The fact that marines based on him were also weaker, if not to the same extent, didn't help much either.

>6. How did you and the 11th get blacklisted.
He didn't see what happened to 11 as at that time he was long dead. Over the course of the Crusade Maximus was becoming more and more worried with the whole development of the Imperium and was really, really not into the whole space marine thing. As in he opposed not the crusade but the very idea of creation of space marines. And spent a lot of time on creating a good enough presentation that Father would listen to it. Which didn't work. Then he just stopped recruiting new people for the legion and all geneseed in marines was damaged so it could not be reimplanted after their death. Which brought the real ire of the Emperor.

>1. What is your name?

Legatus

>2.What type of world did you land on? What was it's name?

Mildly civilized world, cold war for centuries with mutual assured destruction, any conflict would turn the planet into post apocaliptic hell.

>3. You are the Third Primarch found (right after Horus and Leman), what is your backstory before Big Daddy E finds you.

Gets a formal education superfast, is incredibly charismatic, manages to make all the factions settle their matters aside through diplomacy and 0 conflict. Becomes de facto leader of the planet. Big pacifist.

>4. Give a brief overview of your Legion. (Name, notable preferred tactics and quirks, heraldry, and etc.)

They are the Stormknights. They are good at using artillery and bombers, devastating everything, then swoop in and finish everyone. A bit like the Space Wolves, you call this guys just to destroy everything. Legatus is confused and not pleased.
>>
>>65076001
>5. Your relationship with your brothers? How do you view them and they view you?

Emperor was not pleased about this "pacifism". Worlds that could get conquered in days took months to negotiate. Eventually, Emperor flexes by sending my brothers to do it correctly. A planet that was days away from pacificly being converted gets anihilated. Legatus gets angry at everyone but starts actually warring.

>6. How did you and the 11th get blacklisted.

Legatus is sad that no one in his legion, brothers, father, etc thinks like him. Also hates a lot to do war. No friends. Also discovers that homeworld, once he got away, devolved to nuclear war and now its full of mutants. Gets sent to cleanse all the population. While he is at it, he realizes his entire life's work has been useless and finally goes mad. His dream is imposible, humans are flawed, life is pain, lets cleanse the entire humanity after this planet. Legion gets convinced through charisma, promise of explosions, and terror of omnicidal primarch. Big E finds out, big blacklist.

Merkabah, a garden world dominated by a mutated descendant of the Abrahamic Faith, with a strong Messianic cult streak
>3. You are the Third Primarch found (right after Horus and Leman), what is your backstory before Big Daddy E finds you.
Found by a prelate of Merkabah's church, generally regarded as a blessing from Heaven. Had his ego stroked on the daily, eventually surplanting and surpassing his father, becoming head of the Church but twisting it into a cult of personality.
>4. Give a brief overview of your Legion. (Name, notable preferred tactics and quirks, heraldry, and etc.)
The Hammers of Judgement, focused largely on shock & awe, demoralizing opponents through the most ostentatious display of force possible. They were a symbol of their Overlord's grandeur first, an effective fighting force second. Their heraldry is their Primarch's own mask-like helmet flanked by golden swords on a burgundy field, and officers wore replicas of his mask to show their status as his eyes, ears, and voices among the ranks.
>5. Your relationship with your brothers? How do you view them and they view you?
"We are gods among men, why do they not see? Why do they not demand the worship we so rightly deserve? They scorn me for breaking His prohibitions, yet they do not see the folly in them. >6. How did you and the 11th get blacklisted.
Drank a little too deeply of his own koolaid and set up a petty empire of his own from his home world, and refused to play along with the Emperor's plans. What's more, he basically veiwed himself as a God and demanded that his followers do the same, heavily indoctrinating both his legion and his followers. He became convinced that the Emperor wasn't the real Emperor, not his real father, and was a false idol trying to steal the rightful divinity of he and his brothers. He went into open rebellion, his servants and sons fighting so fanatically they needed to be wiped out to a man. Even the geneseed of his legion was somehow tainted by his megalomania, with newly made Hammers who'd never heard of their Primarch rapidly developing a rabid devotion to either the Emperor or, if integrated into another legion, "their" Primarch, their image of whom would shift to resemble The Overlord.

Known to it's inhabitants as Malados, the planet had reached effectively late industrial age when their own pollution blacked out the skies. Now stuck in an eternal night.
>3. You are the Third Primarch found (right after Horus and Leman), what is your backstory before Big Daddy E finds you.
Gave some hope to the people of Malados after my pod pierced the thick clouds covering the planet and letting down a single beam of light. Using my natural primarch genius I reverse engineered an old archaotech machine to clear the skies after all the years of darkness after uniting the few remaining humans on the planet. Just in time too because Papa Emps would've missed the whole planet had it not suddenly cleared it's skies and came to pick me up.
>4. Give a brief overview of your Legion. (Name, notable preferred tactics and quirks, heraldry, and etc.)
Lightbringers (WE WERE HERE BEFORE YOU, FUCK OFF LION'S BITCH BOYS!). They preferred to drop from the skies directly onto the enemies, even had specially made giant drop pods for that, and engage the enemies with their bayonets and single-shot bolter rifles at close ranges. They were all silvery and shone and gleamed in the light like disco balls. Their symbol was sun shining down through thick black clouds. They also very specifically only retook planets that seemed to be at their "darkest hour" and refused to commit into long sieges since their tactics didn't work during those.
>5. Your relationship with your brothers? How do you view them and they view you?
Jaghatai liked my poetry because I too love poetry. Loved Horus, of course. Made efforts to be friends with Leman because I knew the day we met that he'd kill me eventually. Had a friendly rivalry with Vulkan about who burned the brightest. Feared Magnus for being a psyker because had never really seen one.

The planet was full of abandoned xenotech and STCs. a particularly vicious Eldar Exodite claiming the planet as his murdered my adoptive parents. i killed him and destroyed his empire. a couple years after traveling the world Emps arrived and i swore loyalty to him.
>4. Give a brief overview of your Legion. (Name, notable preferred tactics and quirks, heraldry, and etc.)
Verdant Knights, heraldry is a green tornado. legion specializes on melee combat and uses psykers among his ranks. astartes have higher stamina than average, but have a mutation that causes veins to glow green.
>5. Your relationship with your brothers? How do you view them and they view you?
Russ really doesn't like me using psykers, Mortarion even less so. I respect Guilliman and Dorn but don't have many chances to interact with them, even less with Jaghatai. I have some ties with Magnus and Sanguinius and at try to be on good terms with Angron and Perturabo whenever possible.
>6. How did you and the 11th get blacklisted.
One particularly nasty campaign involving a portal into the warp got me possessed by a daemon and a lot of astartes went berserk due to the green veins mutation. Russ was able to put down the batshit marines and bring me before the Emperor, who was able to banish the demon and give me his peace.
>7. Your last words to Leman and the Emperor before they put you down.

Cont.
Jealousy towards Sanguinius for being the metaphorical shining star of the Imperium. Respected Rogal, Ferrus and Perturabo for being crafters like I was, though I feared Perturabo for being Perturabo. Lion's a massive bitch, though and we straight up hated each other. Fuck you for existing. The rest I either feared or was indifferent towards.
>6. How did you and the 11th get blacklisted
We might've gone overboard on a feudal world where we accidentally started a cult that worshiped us as the gods of sun and moon. This lead them to worship chaos and father had the planet nuked. This then lead him to preemptively to also destroy our home worlds as a bit of a petty punishment and making sure we wouldn't spread our "faith" there too. We felt that we had done nothing wrong, nor had the people who died. We then might have gone off and rebelled just a bit before turning on each other and devastating our legions before Father sent Leman after both of us.
>7. Your last words to Leman and the Emperor before they put you down.

Strained. They think me undeservedly arrogant for my pride in my Devil Dogs.

During a particularly hard fought campaign against a xenos empire, I authorized exterminatus of several heavily populated worlds that had been captured by them, while a number of brother marines from other legions were still on it. My favorite name was always Ianua. To say she was at least beautiful on the surface would be to stretch the truth. She was beautiful at first glance, before the grit of the lower classes came into view. It was no surprise when the forces of chaos began to fester and boil into reality.
>What's your pre big E backstory?
It was with my tongue and my wallet that security forces, mercenary groups, independent malitias, were conglomerated into one fighting force to defend the prosperity of our world.
>Your legion.
When I acquired them, I quickly merged them with a subsidiary "Carolus Interstellar" (previously Carolus Space Program) and began to use the men as a high tier security force for interstellar mining operations, colonization, and research. They were particularly valuable for xenobiology focused missions. They had a affinity for technology and when worst came to worst, they're best strategy for fighting large scale warfare involved an analysis of the enemy supplies, production centers, transportation, etc, and with a few quick strikes knock out the enemies production capabilities and let them starve on their own weight. Other tactics include capturing and ransoming people of importance, and blockading highly important cities until surrender.
>Your brothers.
Fulgrim was a common acquaintance, The rest either failed to care or didn't talk to me. Such a shame.
>How we got blacklisted.
Progress can be a scary thing to many, we had gotten many a warning with our previous xenobiological weapon experiments from the emperor, but that wasn't the reason. The 11th was mostly a misunderstanding, having truly been there for the same reason as Leman and the Emperor, but no side would listen.

A psyker raised on an Agriworld, valued stead growth and development and despised the dirty political games going around in the surrounding planets. Had the star system under peaceful rule before the warp storms cleared and Big E found it.

The Greenseers. Green armor with red and gold details, leaves, flowers and fruits as symbols. Preferred tactics are to avoid direct conflict unless there's no other way. Ambushes, traps, snipings and psyker bullshit are widespread. Considered cowards by all other Legions. Treehuggers by nature, their psyker connection to nature was a huge red flag in the eyes of the Emperor.

2.What type of world did you land on? What was it's name?
I landed on Titus 3, a paradise world of forests, rivers and mountains. Unfortunately, it was surrounded by dark age kill sats that would occasionally fire causing profound destruction.

3. You are the Third Primarch found (right after Horus and Leman), what is your backstory before Big Daddy E finds you.
Adopted by a convent of healer-sages, I was brought up sowing the bodies of victims back together. Eventually rising to leadership I enacted a research program to shoot down the kill sat. Once the intimidate threat was solved I begun unwinding the secrets of my own body, tailoring it as I went. I gave those secrets to my people via gene-therapy.

By the time the Emperor found me I had shaped my form into something bordering on non-primarch. Smaller, more dexterous, feminine and disarmingly gentle, I had succeded in crafting myself into an icon of hospitality. The ultimate balm to the unwell.

4. Give a brief overview of your Legion. (Name, notable preferred tactics and quirks, heraldry, and etc.)
The Dawn Heralds tend to be shorter and slimmer then the other space marine legions. They work noticeably better in teams, preferring to life as a surrogate "family" with their squad. Dawn Heralds of any rank who have achieved great age are fondly called by the prefix "grandfather".

In combat they prefer working directly with standard imperial forces. They are a force multiplier due to their special interest in the training and efficiency of their more mundane allies.

5. Your relationship with your brothers? How do you view them and they view you?
Due to the Emperor keeping me close to his side, most of my brother's are ambivalent towards me. While they general consider me martially weak, they all respect my ability to rally worlds to the Imperium without bloodshed. While some are jealous of the paternal love he regularly demonstrates towards me, I am jealous of the freedom he gives them.

I do have some special bonds:

- Due to our shared humanitarian bent the Vulkan and I share a special bond. We often support each other politically, sharing general aims. We are the best of friends.
- Lemam Rus is noticeably uncomfortable around me. My approach to conflict resolution are at odds with his, and he is my only brother to out-right accuse me of being "womanly". We do not often work together.
- Angron is a special case. I pity him greatly, and for my sake while he is with me he attempts to rain in his blood-lust.
- Konrad Curze and I do not get along at all. He is the only one of my brothers I actively try not to work with. Whats worse is that he has a habit of trying to justify himself to me, calling me innocent and naive. We have almost come to blows.
- Rogal Dorn and I respect each other but have vastly different visions for the impurium. I dislike his uncaring attitude, and he dislikes my "soft hand". however , I have been told that he has personally defended my honor on many occasions, often in a rage.

6. How did you and the 11th get blacklisted.

Civilised world on a similar cultural and technological level to the 800s. Called Pannonia, it was an ethnically and linguistically diverse mess of thousands upon thousands of city states with no consistent systems of religion, language, or law. Highly independent, these city states were basically the techno-barbarians of Terra but without the techno.
>3. You are the Third Primarch found (right after Horus and Leman), what is your backstory before Big Daddy E finds you.

No consistency across the legion, it fragmented into various independent chapters and sub-chapters almost immediately.

Didn't get along with them. Alpharius was chill but we didn't speak much. Hated Guilliman, Dorn, Johnson, all of the strict rules and regs types. The only one I really liked was Lorgar.
>6. How did you and the 11th get blacklisted.
Didn't do the Great Crusade so well—the Legion chapters went off and did their own thing and some disappeared outright. The Legion abandoned the Expeditionary Fleets and were more interested in fortifying rule within known space than expanding it. Eventually I and my chosen company sod off to some nebula because it's pretty. Turns out it's a warp rift and bad shit happens. Discover daemons, calls for help, the Emperor answers and realises that having an unpredictable and unreliable Space Marine Legion that don't respect authority and are acutely aware of the warp is a very bad idea.

The Star Chasers, Spear-tip strategy (similar to the Luna Wolves) and favoring long to mid ranger combat, pic related.

I tried to be cordial with them and for the most part I was respected enough. I did occasionally butt heads with a few of my more contentious brothers, but so did everyone else. I bonded with Magnus and we taught each other more about our own abilities and tricks we had picked up. The Emperor censured me for sharing xeno knowledge, my legion's psykers were decimated.
>6. How did you and the 11th get blacklisted.
11 was quite the marvelous little scientist. Even weaker than Lorgar, he was truly the runt of the litter. However, unlike Lorgar, he found favor in the eyes of the Emperor due to his knowledge of biology and fascination with genhancement. I hadn't quite gotten over the resentment I had for the destruction and eradication of my homeworld and her populace when we met. I thought we were going to antithesis to each other and well, we were. In this case though, opposites attracted. During the Randagan Campaign, losses were horrific. My marines couldn't hold their ground and we were getting massacred. I lost my arm in one of the closing battles, a battle of which I was the only survivor. My marines were too weak and they needed to be stronger.

>3. You are the Third Primarch found (right after Horus and Leman), what is your backstory before Big Daddy E finds you?
My pod crashed laterally into Hive Solemnibus, landing somewhere in the lower hive. After being raised by a small family there, I chafed at the decadence of the Hive's so-called nobility, and through my fighting ability and charisma led a revolt that saw the Hive ruled by the people. Just as we were planning a Great Crusade in microcosm to end the oligarchy of the other Hives, the Emperor arrived, and the planet was brought into 'compliance'.
>4. Give a brief overview of your Legion.
The Crimson Judges wore the legion badge of an open book with a sword lain across it, stark white against our red armor. I'd like to think that moreso than the other Legio Astartes, the descendants of our kind inherited my tendency for surgical strikes. We tried, we tried maybe even harder than Guilliman to avoid fights where we could, but if we could not, we were utterly ruthless. Be it by stealth or overwhelming firepower, the enemy command and their key battlements would be shattered first, and then chainsword, power sword, flamer and melta would fall upon the reeling armies of the foe until the opposition was dead. Not routed, or made to surrender. Dead.
>>
>>65079481
>5. Your relationship with your brothers? How do you view them and they view you?
Of them, I chafed the worst with Angron, Russ, and even the Lion. They saw our work as an epic quest, as a saga to be written, as an act of glory, or perhaps more darkly, as an excuse to sate an unfailing thirst for foes and fire and blood and death. I couldn't find a home with those more given to high idealism like Roboute or beloved Sanguinius either, as my viciousness when peace broke drove a wedge between me and my more idealistic brothers. The only company I could find myself keeping were among the least likely, the rejected, those who were kept at arms length. Magnus the scholar and psyker, Perturabo the architect turned demolisher, the ever secretive Alpharius, and the unwell but perhaps well-meaning Konrad. I could talk to them, at least, and not feel condescended to for one reason or the next. Vulkan and Horus as well, but that was hardly uncommon among Primarchs.
>>
>>65079499
>6. How did you and the 11th get blacklisted?
The Crimson Judges arrived on a world quite unlike what we had ever seen in the past. Did you know that even the kindest of the damnable elvenkind would enslave us for our own so-called good? This world, this entire system of about 20 worlds, wasn't like that. They comingled. Interbred. They were equal, as equal as could be between psychic near-immortals and humans, the ever-adapting mayflies that we are. Seeing this, and being answered with an immediate desire to join our Crusade, I expected to hear joy from Father. I got seething rage, a bellowing order to destroy this world. When I asked what crime they had committed, it was simply that they had made peace with the Aeldari. What kind of crime was that? What kind of heinous act was peace in Father's grand plan? It finally came to me. Father had started to lose his way. Lose his mind. I stood firm. My Legion stood on defense for the system. But I never once imagined, in my years as a commander of superhuman legions, that my headstrong, buffoonish drunk of a brother Leman could copy my tactics to the letter until he stood before me on my own flagship's bridge.
>7. Your last words to Leman and the Emperor before they put you down?
"You are kin-killers, traitors, and tyrants in the making. My only mistake was not attempting to rip your throats out when we met in Hive Tribuisti. And my only regret is that I won't be there to watch it end. To watch your growing, gnawing madness doom man. Hell with you, Father. And Hell with your Imperium!"
>>
>>65079346
That is when 11 and I started talking. I kept many artifacts from the Eldar we came across, some of these being trophies. 11 said that he might be able to do something with them to help solve my problem. After working tirelessly for weeks he told me that he might have been able to come up with a way of improving my marines. Whether it was me being too hopeful, having too much trust, or the fates being stacked against me, I accepted his offer. Additional organs would be grafted into initiates to make them more graceful, sleek, and improve psychic abilities. At first, it worked, beautifully. Until the Emperor himself came along to survey the fruits of my labor. He immediately sensed what was happening and the wolves came in with Custodes and Sisters and we were exterminated for "contaminating our blessed forms with vile xeno genes."
>7. Your last words to Leman and the Emperor before they put you down.
My mind shattered and my body battered by the Emperor I shouted out "This is madness! You're mad!" The response as my body was psychically forced kneel was, "I'm never making a mistake like you again."

In hindsight, the last comment explains the Council of Nikea and the Humbling of the Word Bearers.

I was coming up blank on an actually good name
>>
>>65063993
>1. Name?
Lancellot. Well, that was the royal title name given to me at least. Didn't really have a personal name.
>2. What world did I land on.
Gaia. A feudal class world, paradise planet effectively. Run by Knight households, many of which were decitedly un-knightly, before I found them.
>Backstory.
Well, basically, I crash right down onto a banquet table in one of the last knightly knight houses. Due to the circumstances, I spent my whole life training, instead of petitioning to join when at age, hence the name. I grew up learning all there was to know about knight piloting, and personal combat. Fun times.
But yeah, I spent my adult life though, taking my house, and essentially going on a little crusade to purify the rest of the houses, and restore chivalry and honour in knightly society, protect the weak and all that.
>Brief legion overview.
Well, they were origionally the proud hearts, but I renamed them, ass standard. Call it sad, but I called them the white knights. Knights for purity in all things. All else was irrelevant.
We favoured bike attacks alongside heavier knight assaults, but we had good variability still. Those were just the lauded positions. Learned a lot from the White scars though.
>5 Relationships.
Liked the Kahn, he was wild, but skilled. Also fairly good friends with the Lion, although I did have to hound him a bit. Didn't like Fulgrim. We valued purity, but only I valued humility in it.
Others were mostly amiable. Magnus was a source of wisdom, angron was a disappointment, Horus was a great mentor in orchestration.
>6. Blacklisting.
Ohh boy. So here's a story.
We're fighting Eldar, in the name of purity, chivalry and virtue. Then they invite us to diplomatic relations. Obviously, I accept. Chivalry dictates that diplomacy is the ideal battle for it is kinder.
So we negociate, and I find out that the Eldar are virtuous in themselves. They take measures to ensure their purity from corruption, and to keep good virtues.

So I decide, that since they do not deserve it, I withdraw.
I know their dark cousins are monstrous, but so was Gaia, and I myself came from there, so I know better.
Granted, they used us, but that was fine. It's part of chivalry, and being an astartes and a knight. So We didn't care really.
Turns out, big mistake.
Dad got pissed and set the wolves on us.
We didn't like that. Their views on honour and virtue were barbarous at best. And they didn't have a chivalry.
So we decided to avoid full out fighting as much as possible. We were both astartes, we shouldn't fight. I thought they would believe this too.
Nope. They dropped on us like dogs, and didn't realise we were brothers in arms at all. Burning civilians to draw us out. Calling honour duels, then swarming us. Abusing every edict we used in our life. We died often, but we never dropped our edicts, and we killed three for every one of us who fell in the field.
And that does not count the knights.
>Last words.
So, sensing that Gaia was falling, I ordered my legion away, and remained, alone, in the ruins of the banquet hall where I first touched down. Fitting I die where I was born.
I blared a challange to both my father, and Leman at once, to face me, in my knight.
They came in, told me why they were here. They asked me to surrender. I told them they knew I would not do that.
Then my father tried to make me bow.
His power was immense, but under the tutorage of Magnus, I and my legion had learned powerful wards against psychic influence.
I did not bow.
And so we fought, and debated on who was right or wrong here. Leman was unhappy, he had looked up to me in a fashion, for we were similar.
I could not read my father, like always.
But despite all my and my knights potency, I could not hold of my father, nor Leman Russ.
It ended when, my guard broken by a herculean strike from leman, my father hurled his sword up, straight into the cockpit of my knight.
The flames tore at my soul. It felt peaceful.
>>
>>65082773
My last words were more of a speach. I won't bore you with it, but it pointed out the conflicting ideas of what was right in this Imperium, and our conviction in it. I had broadcast it throughout the fleets, including my own.
But it ended like this...
"And so, lying down in the dirt, I realise that, if the Imprium is to stand, we cannot afford to be so puritnical in our beliefs. We must strive for perfection, but we cannot ever reach it.
I had used to think that this world could be derived down into back and white. But as I look at it from this last perspective, I find that lacking.
Goodbye my sons. My brother. Father. But please, heed my last words. We cannot afford to be the White Knights any longer, for this universe is not black or white.
It is grey. You must reflect that."
They left me then. Not willing to catch themselves in the detonation of a psychically impervious Knight war machine.
Forty three seconds later, a trifecta of plasma core detonations levelled the last remaining evidence of life on Gaia.
Three minutes and twelve seconds later, the last Thunderhawk exited the planets atmosphere.
Six hours, three minutes and twenty eight seconds later, the final imperial vessels left the system by warp transit.
Sixteen hours, forty two minutes and six seconds later, an unidentified xenos craft entered system via non-warp means.
Two minutes and twelve seconds later, a single transport craft would enter atmosphere for less then four minutes, then return to the unidentified vessel, which would leave system one minute and thirty four seconds later.
My death, and my legion would be wiped from existence in all records, not to take to the great crusade again, but to fight in much different circumstances, the white from their armour stripped away, to reveal the polished chrome of adamantium on ceramite beneath.
>>65081725

Largest legion numbers, because marine implantation isn't mandatory.
However, considering the ideology of the legion, many young asperants quite eagerly submit themselves for implantation, that they might better serve. They have slightly more marines then usual, but this is due to lessening the brutal training standards into longer, gentler fashions, and also a more reliable, if slower implant rate.
The road to becoming an Astartes is a long one, but it is worth it in the end.

1. Names Bob
2. Landed in an agricultural world. Took to it like a fish to water. Bit of a full name, it’s lust farm land in the local tung.
3. Landed here, Middle of a decades long drought. Grew up with my adopted parents working the land growing what little we could.
Didn’t take long for me to figure out a few better methods, modify a few plants genetics. And boost production in the middle of a drought to massive levels.
4. They are all good ol farm boys like me. Like to use shotguns and and some hunting rifles and such. We’re good at landing in a low supply area and building a up a surplus of food and all kinds of useful things. Much more useful in defense and reinforcement than an outright attack.
But we do have a knack of converting other agricultural world purdy easy.
5. Don’t interact much with them. Most are over complicated for my taste. Besides none like talking about plants like I do.
6. Well it turns out eating people in a massive scale, or cooking up gaurdsmen is not a polite thing to do. No it isn’t. Got found out and got an earful of chaos this or abomination that.
7. When they came to kill me I knew it was my time. I couldn’t fight half as well as them. All I asked was that they bury me under the old hickory tree back on my farm on my home world, right next to the graves of my adopted parents.

The primarch didn't give them a chance, dodging and weaving between any of their attacks, refusing to strike back or be struck. >1. What is your name?
Casandros
>2.What type of world did you land on? What was it's name?
Chaos fucked deathworld.
>3. What is your backstory before Big Daddy E finds you.
Raised by the only few non-chaos worshiping people on the planet. Grew to hate religion in general so much that even Daddy E found it distasteful. Also was a psyker with an unfortunate ability to see only the worst of futures.
>4. Give a brief overview of your Legion.
Pain Prophets. They had no specific tactics. All of them were given a vision of the place and time they'd die, so if it was their time to die they'd become part of the "Doomed", grab a bunch of bombs, strap them to themselves and go swinging their power weapons in melee. If it wasn't their time they'd join the "Fortunate" stay as tactical marines or devastators. Also had way too many psykers who'd just nuke themselves with psychic power when their deaths came. Heraldry was an hour glass with an eye in the middle and their color scheme was dark orange with blue details. Also had a quirky mutation that made them unable to digest anything so they just injected nutrients into their bodies directly.
>5. Your relationship with your brothers?
Because of the visions of future, Cassandros avoided and hated all the future traitor primarchs except for Horus and Magnus, latter to whom he felt companionship towards due to both being shunned for being psykers. Kinda ignored the rest.
>6. How did you and the 11th get blacklisted.
He was the only person who believed Cassandros' visions of the future where some of their brothers would turn on the Imperium and tried to quite bluntly kill Angron, Perturabo, Lorgar, Mortarion and Konrad while trying their best to make Leman and Conrad to join them in this effort.

> 1. What is your name?

The Void-Speaker

> 2.What type of world did you land on? What was it's name?

No world at all, the life-pod containing emerged from the Warp in space around a gas giant and orbited it ever since, never making landfall.

> 3. You are the Third Primarch found (right after Horus and Leman), what is your backstory before Big Daddy E finds you.

Elia spent the entirety of his life in that life-pod, the machine being equipped with the nutrients and life supplies needed to keep him alive even in those conditions. As his body grew, it also adapted to the space of his prison, deforming it and atrophying what was to be a pinnacle of human physiology.

As the decades passed, Elia only had the spectacle of the stars and his own thoughts to keep him entertained, however due to isolation and something else, those developed into something that could best be qualified as... alien. Out of those strange thoughts still came a name, Elia. And as he named himself, the golden ship of the Emperor came into haranguing range.

> 4. Give a brief overview of your Legion. (Name, notable preferred tactics and quirks, heraldry, and etc.)

The Marchers. Not really a legion, the Emperor realized really quickly that Elia was in no position to lead a legion. Elia learned to speak in relatively short time, however the words he would speak would quickly turn on the insane side after a couple of sane words. Shortly after learning to speak, Elia would reveal to have potent psychic powers, orders of magnitudes stronger to those of Magnus, but with a clear lack of control over them. The Emperor seemingly being the only thing that could appease him and help him keep those under control.
>>
>>65087681

(cont.)

Elia could not lead a legion, but he could serve as a weapon to be deployed on a world with the blessing and surveillance of the Emperor.

5. Your relationship with your brothers? How do you view them and they view you?

Void, except to Magnus, Lorgar, and Horus. Elia could speak, but his words would quickly sound insane and with no sense at all. For many of his brothers, he was just insane out of decades of isolation, but not for all of them.

Magnus was curious about Elia, his words had no meaning to him, but his mind was something he would try to read and understand, often gaining some insights over it. The two would communicate while their brothers would only see figures standing stoicly. Lorgar actually listened to his words, and tried to pierce some kind of deep meaning out of them, when Elia would speak of the size of the stars when asked about how the occupation of a planet would turn out, Lorgar would think an omen was hidden in those words and ask for more. As of Horus, the primarch would spend some time with the weird primarch, nobody knows if it was out of pity, disgust, or just curiosity.

Most peculiar was his relation to the Emperor, him keeping him never too far, and some people have glimpsed the Emperor actually asking Elia for advices.

6. How did you and the 11th get blacklisted.

The wrong words said at the wrong time. The very few and secretive records of this tell that Elia ushered a couple of words while in the presence of the Emperor during the attack of a world.

Nobody know what was the words he said, but they sent the Emperor into a murdering rage, the Emperor suddenly trying to destroy his son with the zeal in his eyes brighter than the suns. Accros the flag ship, a psychic battle erupted between the two, with one side absolutely overwhelmed by the other, Elia was running for his life across the halls, pursued by personnels and the Emperor himself.

(cont.)
>>
(cont.)

Using an evac pod, Elia fled, escaping the wrath of his Father for a time.

Elia would eventually be found again in a ship surrounded by the marines of his legion. They had travelled accross the liberated domains in pursuit of something, nobody know if they found that thing but planets that had received the visit of Elia would be ravaged by psychic incidents and devastation out of it.

The ship was boarded by Sanguinnus and Horus themselves, and what they went against was a legion of deranged marines would destroy the hull of the ship along the way to trap the intruders while shouting that they would all return to the stars, that the voices of malice would eat them all before nothingness.

Elia was eventually subdued and brought right in front of the Emperor to give his final advises. To Sanguinnus, he told a tale of a comet that would circle a system for eternity and always crash, to Leman he shouted that his fangs would eat the universe as bitterly as the cold eat the moons, and to Horus he told that he shined so bright.

>What is your name
Dariyn Tehnet

>What type of world did you land on.
Name: Hlame
A feudal world that was largely made up of small fiefdoms, ruled by philosophers that kept STC's for knights amongst their arsenal, piloted by their loyal household pilots. These knight pilot households were sworn to the philosopher-families and protected the dynasties. Largely a peaceful culture, the Knights were reminders to the peasantry of who the rulers were.
>>
>>65093040
>Backstory before Big E shows up
A boy landed in the fields of the workers, amidst corns and cabbages. When he opened his pod and emerged a small boy, he looked up at two Knight-Titans, weapons bearing on him and the pod, who had strode over to investigate, having seen the streak across the sky from their brick-and-mortar fortress. This experience during his earliest memories was formative towards his later feelings for those who looked down on anyone, with threat.

Taken in by the philosopher-lord whom the Knights served, the boy was taught many lessons in politics and philosophies, and raised by the servant class within the fortress to be, well, they didn't know. The philosopher-lord raised him almost as if he was his own child, but only almost. Never was it discussed how the boy fell into the family, and the boy simply never asked. It appeared he had no aspirations at all. In his lesson-learning, the instructors hesitated to name him, for they felt that right belonged to his ‘father’. At his behest, they submitted his completed lesson-works to him, and he named the child. Dariyn Tehnet, named both for an ancient king, and for his admiration of law and structure.

Occasionally it would be called for that his adoptive dynasty would embark outward, to another fiefdom. He sometimes went. He saw the same situation everywhere, peasants, servants, knights, philosophers. As the boy grew and grew, he became larger than any man the people had ever seen. He learned all the dynasty could teach him, and soon left. There were goodbyes, tears, and other sentiments, but the patriarch that took him in fifteen years ago kept a watchful, resentful eye as the boy prepared to leave, and as he left. "This boy will be our doom," He whispered.
>>
>>65093062
In life, the boy found that he preferred the work of the people; hard labor, honest work, simple days. The anger he felt only grew, towards the Knights and their lords, preaching their ideals in ivory towers amongst themselves, while the peasantry continued with grueling work, with no end to the work in sight.

One by one, farms stopped sending their crop-tithes to the philosopher-lord, whose predication was all too correct. When emissaries were sent, along with armigers, they were turned away. When two Knights arrived to deliver the angry demands of the Lord, havoc struck. Dariyn had studied many of the systems of the Knight constructs during his adolescence, and knew their weaknesses. Directing the peasantry to deploy traps and distractions, he managed to get close. He scaled one knight, and forced its cannons to fire upon the other. As its brother went down in flames, the knight’s canopy was ripped open, and the pilot flung from his seat. Dariyn had armor, now.

One by one, cities and fortresses fell to the peasant horde and its Knight-riding master. He promised deliverance from rule, and safety from tyranny. Each would live as they wished, according to their own merit. The emperor arrived to find a planet in the midst of a Philosophical renaissance, both learning old ideologies and crafting new ones. He knew his son would be found here.

>Overview of the legion

An elite core of leaders and sergeants that regularly meet, with splintered companies of grunts that they return to. All are given equal access to resources. There are two elite units; The Naysayers, a seeker squad that destroys enemy communications and moral leaders, and the Doombringers, breachers that wields meltaguns to annihilate fortified enemy structures.

>Relations with brothers

He gets along well with Mortarion and Vulkan, given to former’s dislike of tyrants, and the latter’s Mirth. If given the chance, he will seek out Magnus to speak on philosophies with him, but Magnus cares little for his more base philosophic floundering.

>Getting Blacklisted

My legion and I set about looking after worlds that had seen the ministrations of Perturabo and the Iron Warriors. This was a mistake. We found worlds destroyed by the legion. Without permission, we set about rebuilding them. Helping the people learn and recreate their lives. We did this, and were censured when discovered. Perturabo saw it as a grave betrayal by the only brother that showed him kindness. After censure, we saw what the emperor had ordered the Word Bearers to do. Planets, once again, razed. But this was the Emperor’s decree. The legion and Dariyn arrived at Terra, questioning this impossible decree. The Emperor greeted Dariyn, but admonished him for abandoning what he had apparently assigned him; attachment to the Blood Angels. Dariyn was furious, and left, claiming he had no father.

>Last Words to Leman and Big E

"There is no freedom, Father, Brother, not even for you two. There is always...a master..."

Russ looked to his father, mouth agape, horrified by what they had done, together. He was speechless.

"My son. This is not the last time we will have to do this. I hope you understand. You were made for one purpose. And that purpose lies here, in front of us."

>1. What is your name?

Garrulus (the Never-Lord, Chieftan of the Procrastinators, Champion of Delay)

>2.What type of world did you land on? What was it's name?

Magna Guildfortis, the primary planet in its system. A temperate and prosperous world, it somehow avoided any harm during the Age of Strife.

>3. You are the Third Primarch found (right after Horus and Leman), what is your backstory before Big Daddy E finds you.

Found by one of the wealthier citizens of the planet, I absorbed the best learning and showed great promise in academia, architecture, and leadership. I developed numerous plans for the betterment of my world and system, but was unable to bring any to fruition or ascend to a position of power before being found by the Emperor.

>4. Give a brief overview of your Legion.

The Second Legion, the Unnamed (informal), the Procrastinators (informal). The legion became known for taking part in training exercises, spending large amounts of time at musters and in preparation. Individual commanders were given great leeway to carry out their own missions, and many attached themselves and their companies to other legions. The Emperor was known to take direct control of the legion in order to direct its forces on multiple occasions.

>5. Your relationship with your brothers? How do you view them and they view you?

My relationship with my brothers was excellent, and I was well liked by all of them. My tendency to argue every point and play devil’s advocate rubbed some of the more earnest and blunt ones up the wrong way, and many of them grew increasingly frustrated by my lack of involvement in the Crusade.

>6. How did you and the 11th get blacklisted.

For failing to bring any worlds into compliance.

7. Your last words to Leman and the Emperor before they put you down.

I’ve been very busy, you can’t just go on Crusade without properly planning it. I’ll get round to it soon, I promise.

>Alright Anons of /tg/, You are the Primarch of the Second Legion!
>1. What is your name?
Rostram IV.
>2.What type of world did you land on? What was it's name?
The feudal world of Hadi. A quiet realm taking after medieval legends of all kinds- dragons and genies are found here, all monsters of the Warp. However, despite the deep Warp infestation, it was more bright and noble than dark and gloomy, because the people of Hadi found heart and meaning in embracing the challenge of fighting against darkness. In essence, it was a classic fantasy world with an optimistic bent.
>3. You are the Third Primarch found (right after Horus and Leman), what is your backstory before Big Daddy E finds you.
I was taken in by a shah's concubine and eventually worked my way up the ladder by being an expert swordsman, supreme archer, and horseman. Being the son of the Emperor, I was a natural psyker, though nowhere near the scale of my much greater brothers. What psyker powers I did use were for minor tricks like disguising my voice or appearance, or bolstering my strength. I was young and bold and proud, and more than a little boastful of my noble status.
Eventually, I crossed swords with a young knight by the name of Duran. He was my equal in skill, if not in pure strength, and when my allies surrounded him directly by our duel, I called them away and I and Duran became good friends. Eventually, however, Duran's strength faded and there was nothing I could do to prevent it. I had considered consulting a genie or daemon, but Duran refused, insisting that his life and his humanity was enough. From that day on, I wondered if someone like me was really human after all. Duran had lived to the fullest and his story had come to an end, but mine would continue to go on. For how long? To what point? I stepped away from traditional society for a while, meditating and fasting until the Emperor retrieved me, giving me a new purpose.

>4. Give a brief overview of your Legion. (Name, notable preferred tactics and quirks, heraldry, and etc.)
My Ivory Arrows focused on skill and glory above all else. It's not so much the fact of killing someone that was important to me but that it be done with grace and ability. In that, even the act of taking life could be considered art, if done for the proper cause. Either expertise shots from a far distance or masterful strikes in melee combat, my Legion was filled with Marines that thrived off of self-discipline and competition. I was an expert marksman- perhaps without peer.
The Ivory Arrows were a bit soft at times, especially compared to the harder, grimmer Legions like the Dark Angels. Our gaudier white and purple heraldry didn't exactly help, either, but I've never been a pessimist: Even when I lost my old friend, I hoped that he lived on in spirit, his will finding its way to happiness in the Immaterium.
>5. Your relationship with your brothers? How do you view them and they view you?
I have tried my best to make good with my brothers, though my cheeriness was more irritating than helpful at times.
When I heard of Angron's woes, I could only cry on his behalf, a gesture that backfired as he felt I was mocking him. I accepted the beating that resulted until Leman intervened. When asked why I didn't retribute, I answered that Angron had recieved enough pain.
Vulkan was of like mind to me: He was a good conversation partner and an excellent man to exchange hopes of a future Imperium with. I brought him and Leman to Hadi once: He enjoyed the experience and enjoyed hunting there, but regretted that it did not have enough fire. I guess we all have our quirks.
>>
>>65100564
Horus was only surpassed in my mind by the Emperor Himself. Whenever I was in doubt, he always seemed to be there with the right words, and I would bolster his cheer whenever the task seemed too tough.
The 11th was perhaps my next closest ally- he was the spear to my bow. We were perhaps too worshipful of Horus. I remember little about him, save that he took Horus's side and hated the Emperor for treating us like tools. I know that I cared for him... Perhaps the Emperor wiped my mind of the memories out of what little mercy he had left.
>6. How did you and the 11th get blacklisted.
When Horus became corrupted, I couldn't believe it. It was impossible for me to process. Of all the brothers to fall to Chaos, it was perhaps the last I expected behind Vulkan. I couldn't bear to wield a weapon against my brothers, but the 11th forced the point. He said that the Emperor saw us as nothing but pieces in his great game and demanded I take his side. I grudgingly accepted in the delusional hopes that the conflict would be temporary, and went to his homeworld to help defend it.
The second I saw Leman take the field, however, I couldn't bear to see him fight the 11th. As my beloved brothers fought to the death, I could not aim at either of them. almost at once, my willpower was sapped and all of my optimism faded into the void. For the first time in my life, I was numb in sorrow. My Ivory Arrows scattered leaderlessly as I froze like a statue, a dead idol that could give them no guidance. I stood and watched as the 11ths home burned before my eyes. I felt emptiness. Perhaps that is why the Emperor wiped my name from the records... I was nothing, not even his son.
>7. Your last words to Leman and the Emperor before they put you down.
"If you had wanted tools... Why did you make us feel?"

>1. What is your name?
Avidyus
>2.What type of world did you land on? What was it's name?
A relatively obscure and unfavored agri-world with only a stellar designation. It took on my name after I became its hero.
>3. You are the Third Primarch found (right after Horus and Leman), what is your backstory before Big Daddy E finds you.
My world fell into the sight of Dark Eldar, and a Craftworld that sought to minimize the spoils of their dark kin. It was there that I came unto my own, and raised my legion for the first time, on that humble agri-world. That trial would shape me and my tactics; I became quite good at presenting trapped prizes and maximizing the meager planetary defense resources available to me. It was a long, grueling stalemate that I think I should have lost with only one or two mistakes when Father appeared, and taught me how to be more than a man.
However, I did not stop with the defense of my planet. As the Emperor continued his search, I pressed on to eradicate the Dark Eldar raiders, and crush the Craftworld that took shots at us in our darkest hours.
>4. Give a brief overview of your Legion. (Name, notable preferred tactics and quirks, heraldry, and etc.)
The Bare Hearts, our symbol being a heart with a ruptured right Atrium, and a watchful eye set into the left atrium.
Our preferred tactics are lightly armored reconnaissance, long-range engagement, and guerrilla warfare. We excel at decoy and misdirection operations, and at herding our foes into traps and disadvantageous positions.

Notably, our Black Carapace suffers from a defect that renders it incompatible with standard Space Marine power Armors. We can retrofit existing suits to fit our bodies, but such modifications have of course been deemed heretical in recent times, and, along with Guiliman's dismissal of our chapter, stands as the reason we have been labeled as an enemy of the imperium. Besides that, such modifications are costly, so outfitting all of our brothers with them is not realistic, and none of our battle brother would take such an easement if it were denied to the brother at his side. Thus, aside from a few relic terminator suits for those times when a brother's duty to his chapter outweighs is duty to his brothers, the only armors retrofitted in any number are Dreadnaught chassis.
Additionally, compared to other chapters, we place heightened value on planetary defense forces, and the other men and women who serve the Emperor with their hearts as much as we.
>5. Your relationship with your brothers? How do you view them and they view you?
I may have been the third Primarch found, but it was quite some time afterwards that I was truly considered part of the Imperium. As such, I did not have much time to bond with my brothers.
I considered Vulkan a friend, though I cannot say if he returned the sentiment, or merely pitied my chapter's predicament. Either way, many of our chapters's relics date back to this friendship.
I was also on good terms with Jaghatai Khan. Though he often criticized the slow, methodical nature of my strategies, he, perhaps more than any other Primarch, did not think less of us for our lack of armor.

>6. How did you and the 11th get blacklisted.
I know little of the 11th chapter.
As for my own, in the aftermath of the Horus Heresy, we were "forcibly retired" by the Guiliman, after it was pointed out to Guiliman that my chapter was physically unable to abide by the Codex Astartes, and that an addendum would have to be written for us to be compliant.

Probably a normal kind but with increased danger of broken appliances, furniture and normal humans.
>Vulkan
Vulkan would try to talk to the child at their level, as best a 13 or so foot man can.
>Russ
He'd just toss it outside or at a passing marine and tell them to deal with it.
>>
>>65102474
Russ would just spank the kid.
Hard.
He's not a barbarian, as much as he likes to act like one. It's telling that the Vlka Fenryka degenerated into furfags after he was gone.

Anyway:
>Lion
It's a beating.
>II
Is dead, so he (female) can't really do any disciplining.
>Fulgrim
Would use Applied Behaviour Analysis.
>Perturabo
He breaks a bone for every half-minute of the tantrum, then beats the kid unconscious. After that, no food, water or sleep for the next week.
>Jaghatai Khan
It's a scolding. The Khan will btfo him like he did Fulgrim
>Russ
It's a beating and a scolding.
>Rogal Dorn
No food for the next week and 10 minutes in the pain glove each day.
>Konrad Curze
Will probably leave him near-dead.
>Sanguinius
The kid's not going to throw a tantrum in the first place because Sanguinius is a great dad.
>Ferrus Manus
Would tell Fulgrim to stop using that new-age hippie shit and bring out the belt.
>IX
Also can't do any disciplining, because he (male) is dead.
>Angron
Will kill him whether he's throwing a tantrum or not.
>Guilliman
A stern talking-to an a grounding.
>Mortarion
The kid is too busy dying in the toxic fumes to throw a tantrum.
>Magnus
Uses his psychic powers to turn off the kid's brain, or the kid runs away with half of the Thousand Sons.
>Horus
A stern talking-to that calms the kid down. Later, he gets corrupted and in turn corrupts the kid.
>Lorgar
Uses the belt. Later, talks to him and is so charismatic that the kid is inspired to be the best son he can be.
>Vulkan
>>Would try to talk to the child at their level, as best a 13 or so foot man can.
>Corvus
Knocks the kid out for later.
>Alpharius/Omegon
Are hardly ever there, so the nanny has to deal with it, as usual.
>>
>>65102668
How does Big E deal with em? Lets set the scene
>Emperor has some time off from the crusade, horus is doing a great job
>Decides to spend some time with his youngest to personally tutor him
>Finally gets to bust out the curriculum hes had waiting since the chaos shits scattered the kids
>Kid is being hard to deal with, ignoring, mumbling, all together refusing to co-operate till it comes to a head and hes screaming and crying
>>
>>65098596
>Oh man, that might be interesting. Imagine having to go back to woke Guilliman and be like, ummm we found your nephew? I know its basically heresy but we really need all the help we can get. Can we keep him?
I can see Guilliman jumping at the chance to train up a new primarch. He doesn't seem happy about the state of the imperium and could view the kid as an opportunity to replace himself. Assuming the kid even makes it to him in the first place and isnt captured by the Eldar / Dark Eldar / Tau / Trazyn (again) or Chaos along the way.
>>
I based my idea on the pod horus damaged (might have been the 11th legion, whatever)

1. Unknown... See below
2. Planet unknown, records purged. In reality a planet infected by chaos and alien diseases
3. Unknown... See below
4. Legion is called the star stallions. Noted for originally using long range weaponry but later fighting using excessive grenades and explosives and reckless fighting tactics, contrasted by possessing extreme wisdom, insightful, calm and friendly sociable people. (secretly fully aware of chaos and the danger it is to humanity)
5. No relationship, see below
6. Star stallions themselves find their primarch, he's been completely fucked up by chaos warp exposure and alien diseases to the point he's basically a mass of deformed flesh and drooling insanity. Emperor, Lemus russ and nightlords sent to "deal" with him and any potential resistance from star stallions. Stallions make decision to put their primarch down like a rabid dog, kill him and shoot him into the sun for good measure.

Emperor agrees not to punish them but they are deleted from all official records and sent to fight on the very edge of the galaxy. Keep up their original calm, friendly persona normally but in battle their hopelessness and lack of concern for themselves comes out fully in their fighting style.

I liked the idea of the primarch being calm, friendly and completely clued into the dangers of chaos, so the gods conspired to get rid of him before he could mature, being the one primarch insightful enough to understand the threat they posed. Sending horus back to see the primarchs in the pods was solely to achieve this.
